Getaway to Romantic TX Hill Country. Enjoy wonderful resort styled amenities: hot tub, glass fire pit, romantic pool with natural waterfall, full pool kitchen, and Eucalyptus infused steam room. Covid19 service changes: we block off the other unit so you will NOT be sharing the previously listed common areas such as the pool to maintain social distancing. We block off the unit before/after bookings so that back to back bookings do not occur helping protect us and our guests.
Resort amenities include enormous pool with natural limestone waterfall , pool cabana with full kitchen, washer & dryer, indoor fireplace, entertainment center, flat screen tv, and eucalyptus steam room. Lots of deck space for relaxing poolside. This upstairs house has master suite with king sized bed, sitting area, skylights, and built-in entertainment center with surround sound. The den features 2 leather recliners and flat screen tv/entertainment center. The well stocked kitchen features cherry wood cabinetry with cooking utensils, dishwasher, ice-maker, and two types of coffee makers. The bathroom features a glass door shower only-no tub. If you have any questions about the property or how its set up- just ask us before making your reservation. This unit is an upstairs unit, so it is not handicap accessible.
We are far enough away from the city so that we are able to view the night sky with little light pollution, so the views at night from the hot tub are fantastic. Deer, wild hogs, rabbits, hummingbirds all make their appearance. We are less than 8 miles from the Historic Floores country store with live entertainment. Medina Lake is only 8 miles away
  • My husband and I loved our 5 night stay! Everything about our visit was relaxing and the host was helpful and available when needed. We loved lounging by the pool listening to the waterfall, playing bocce, and enjoying the hot tub. Heads up for your stay - the oven takes a while to preheat but cooks well. We expect to be back!

  • Beautiful cabin and property. Had all the amenities we needed- no stove but there's a microwave and coffee maker and the hosts had all glassware, utensils available. Plenty of towels, with shampoo/conditioner and a hairdryer available as well. The hot tub and fire ring area outside were amazing, both open up to the sky so great stars at night. Nice walk down to the water where they have kayaks available for use. 15 min drive from Boerne so easy to head there for reataurants etc as needed. Will be back!

  • Our stay was the perfect relaxing getaway from city-life for our 30th wedding anniversary. Crisp cold weather, steaming hot tub, warm moonlit campfires and lots of beautiful secluded scenery! The private, clean, comfortable cabin (good heating during a night freeze), nearby towns with good restaurants, shopping and friendly folks were all very enjoyable! Had fun times at the river dock fishing and feeding ducks. It was also nice having strong wifi around the cabin and good local TV signal when we wanted to connect back to civilization. We will be back!

Lovely acreaged neighborhood feels like you are on vacation. Pipe Creek is a quiet town, with little in the way of a downtown area, yet we do have a lovely a farm-to-table restaurant called BACKYARD BISTRO (tucked behind an antique store) for those looking for good food that is close. Many Guests like to venture to our "sister" cities of Boerne, Bandera and Helotes, which are each about 15 minutes away. They offer interesting and diverse dining, shopping and park/recreational areas to explore at your leisure! San Antonio's Riverwalk is just 45 minutes away and Austin and its many cool areas is 90 minutes or so out. We love Boerne, a beautifully pristine city, and home to some of our FAVORITE dining spots (Dodging Duck, Brantly's 259 Bistro, Cypress Grill) and it has awesome micro-breweries (Dodging Duck & Cibolo Creek) and an exceptionally cool Boerne Wine Bar. It also has unique boutique shops, cool caves to explore (Cave Without a Name), lovely green spaces (Cibolo Nature Center), and a wide-range of art galleries and antique stores to explore. Bandera is known for its motorcycle rallies and awesome drives. It is very casual, laid back, and very much "cowboy" country. Here you will find live country music plus boot-scooting dancing (most days) and of course, lots of places to horseback ride, hike the hills (Hill Country State Natural Area), or enjoy the Medina River. It is considered the "Cowboy Capital of the World" and it is like walking back in time...Our favorite restaurants here are Brick's Rivers Cafe (Southern Comfort food and a full bar), Mulberry's Wine Bare (killer pizza and salads). Helotes has one of our favorite honky-tonks (The Flore Country Store), unique market days and nice bicycle riding trails. All three cities are very different, and fun to explore! Take a day at each and you'll understand why we think our location is perfect for a hill country getaway! Or you can even venture a bit further to visit Fredericksburg (Enchanted Rock & wineries!), New Braunfels/Gruene area (River Floating/Live Music/Eateries/Shopping - Very walkable city), Lost Maples Park in Vanderpool, Garner State ParkK in Concan, and much more!

Welcome to Junip! A modern tiny guest house located on 7 acres in the Texas Hill Country. I built Junip as a side project a couple of years ago. The house includes everything you've come to expect from a tiny house; a reading loft, living/sleeping area, a sizable bathroom and small kitchen. Juniper is in Pipe Creek, between historic San Antonio and Bandera - the Cowboy Capitol of Texas. If you've wondered what it's like to live tiny, this is a great way to try it!
The house has about 180 sq. feet of living space. It includes a reading loft, living room, bathroom and small kitchen.
The tiny house is located on a 7 acre plot of land surrounded by other private ranches.
  • Jacob's place was exactly what we expected. It was a great stay. Jacob was friendly and communicated well with all the questions I had. I would definitely stay here again.

    Shane2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place in the Hill Country, close to some beautiful sights in Texas. Perfect for 2 people to spend some time without paying a fortune. Jacob, the host was very good about communicating and was quick to change out the gas when it ran out.

    Lee2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect get away. From the comfy bed, the kitchen, the tub, the large windows and lovely property. It was a quiet place to escape the hustle of the city. A perfect place to disconnect and unwind. Jacob was always fast to respond to my questions. He also provided great directions to supplement google maps, so you know you are on the right path. He even offered to stop by and refresh the place as I was as on an extended stay. I hope to be back soon!

    Jonathan2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jacob’s tiny home was cozy and had everything you could think of. What a great experience!

    Michelle2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Super clean, all around cute and comfortable. Saw some deer on the property, which is always nice. 10/10, I think everyone has to experience staying in a tiny house once and you’d be absolutely foolish to not make it this one. The bath tub might’ve been my favorite part, I’m a sucker for that clawfoot bath tubs.

    Angelica2019-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful accommodations with great vistas all around! I had a great time here!! Thanks for hosting me Jacob!

(Or tuck it away and go screen free for the weekend!) We are about 30 minutes from Bandera, 35 minutes from Loop 1604 and Helotes, an hour from downtown San Antonio, an hour from Kerrville and Fredericksburg. In the vicinity: wine tours, dude ranches and day rides, western museums, great shops and western wear, art galleries and much more. But no regular or cable TV is available. Bring your own cell phones, please. We do not have a land line. The artist owner has an adjacent art studio and if you'd like to use the studio for your own creative endeavors, it is available with prior arrangement. Backyard Bistro is a nearby restaurant with local great country fare. It is open generally Thursday through Sunday brunch. Bandera has several restaurants and Boerne also has a number of good options. Ask for recommendations! Other nearby towns: Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Comfort, Welfare, Boerne, Utopia. Lost Maples State Park is nearby and you'll see lots of bluebonnets in the spring if the weather cooperates! You are welcome to (carefully) hike down the hillside. It is steep, but kind of fun. Our property goes all the way to the fence at the bottom of the hill. There is a rough trail behind our neighbor house to the right of the house (facing the house) that you can access by walking back of the studio/garage -- you’ll see it and they do not mind if we or our guests use it. It’s also just fun to walk up the dirt road portion of Timbercreek Rd. It dead ends up the way about a mile. There may be barking dogs but we have never had any problems -- just holler at them. Here is some additional information: First, if any questions or issues, call us first. You can email us or text us through Airbnb. I will check in with you, and make sure you have everything you need. Please do text or phone when you get in so I know you are here safely. Our neighbors are great problem-solvers if we can not be reacher (or cant help by phone. Our neighbors Bill and Mary Ellen Hardy live in the yellow house at top of the hill.m
You'll be close to Bandera, Pipe Creek, Medina Lake and Helotes and the edge of San Antonio. Downtown SA is about an hour away; Sea World and Fiesta, TX are about 30 minutes away. Lots of Hill Country fun is just around the bend: Dude Ranches and day rides, Fredericksburg and Comfort for antiquing, scenic hikes at Hill Country Natural Area and Guadalupe State Park. Cowboy culture, country dancing, the famous Floore's Country Store and 11th Street Bar for honky tonk evenings and Steak Night. FOR MORE HIKES!Hill Country Natural Area is about 20 minutes past Bandera and has miles of trails that are typical hill country walks. The City River Park in Bandera and also in Boerne are easy trails and short hikes with birds. There is a state park in Kerrville as well and the Guadalupe River Park, also close. I have left a stack of maps and other info in your rooms in the loose leaf notebook. If you like to see little towns, the drive is fun and scenic to Utopia and also to Kerrville via Hwy. 16. We really like Comfort, just up IH 10, for antiquing and small town shops. Bandera is fun cowboy atmosphere and has good western stores, Dude ranches are around for day hikes and brochures are in the notebook. One of our favorite hikes is as the Cibolo Nature Center in Boerne. There is a brochure in the looseleaf notebook about it.
  • Beautiful view! It was just my husband and I, and there was plenty of space for us. They even had eggs for us in the midst of the virus scare— the nearest HEB didn’t even have eggs! Great thoughtful touches around the place, bed was comfortable, couch was comfortable. Very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

  • Susie and Linda were beyond amazing hosts, they were quick to reply to any questions. We rented the susie studio, it was perfect for us. We arrived later on in the evening and they had the theaters turned on for us as well as the hit tub ready to go in case we wanted to jump on in. The art in the studio was so interesting and neat to look at! Nice big bathroom, full kitchen, The hot tub under the stars, all of the vintage artsy touches! We loved everything about our stay here. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, we drank our coffee out there every morning. We also unfortunately had an issue with our vehical on our check out day, linda and susie were able to give us a phenomenal mechanic recommendation and he was able to get my car fixed and ready at an affordable price within 2 hours! They were just amazing this whole weekend they genuinely care if thier guests have a memorable stay. We will be booking with them again for all future trips!

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Walter's home. It's a quick drive into downtown Bandera, the home is located in a quiet and peaceful area. The outside patio has several fire pits as well as bbq pits, equipped with patio furniture. Beware of scorpions (we found 2 during our stay). Walter was quick to respond to our questions and offered if we needed anything else during our stay - GREAT host! We look forward to staying with Walter in the future.

While driving up into the mountains you will cross over two bridges with running creeks and see lots of deer and other wildlife. From the home you have views of dozens of mountains, including Polly's Peak Summit, a local landmark rising 1,828 feet (just 100 feet above the elevation of the home) and amazing sunsets nearly every night of the week. You can't beat the views here, they're some of the best in the area, and one of the top reasons our repeat customers return to stay with us. The property is more centrally located to attractions, water, entertainment and shopping than the BNB rentals in Bandera city limits. For instance, we're only 25 minutes from Boerne for amazing shopping/entertainment, 20 minutes from the lake in Lakehills, 45 minutes from San Antonio and just 15 minutes from Bandera. If you stay in Bandera, add an additional 15 minutes drive time to the above cities. Wouldn't you rather spend those 15 minutes enjoying a conversation about our beautiful views vs. driving? We look forward to hosting you! THINGS TO DO IN THE AREA ======================== Hill Country State Natural Area: The park covers over 5,000 acres of scenic landscapes. • This cabin is a great place to get away from it all. If you're looking for peace and solitude this is the place for it. We had rain most of the weekend, but there was plenty to do inside. We caught up on our Netflix watching while enjoying the hillside views from inside the comfort of this cozy cabin. Lots of amenities and nice touches to make you feel at home while being right in the middle of nature.

  • I had intended on staying much closer to Fredericksburg than here, but couldn't pass it up once I saw the picture. It has an absolutely stunning view and we loved in the hot tub at night and looking at all the stars! I wish we had been able to use a telescope, but we were informed it was broken. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we hope to go back!

This is a 2014 Jayco Flight swift, 26 foot travel trailer, located on private property next to our home, in a gated community. We are located 16 miles from Bandera, Texas, 17 miles from Boerne, Texas, 13 miles from Helotes, Texas and 25 miles from San Antonio, Texas. Adequate parking space.
Since we live in a gated community, and only 25 miles from San Antonio, we feel this is a very safe place to stay for the night. We are away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. It is nice and quiet and no disturbances.
  • Great place! Super clean. Great hospitality . Thank you.

    Oscar2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • I can not say enough about this lil place. It is a true hidden gem owned by people of like sparkle! We were in town for a nephews wedding in Comfort, Tx. they live in Boerne, Tx. We went to the tulip farm in La Vernia and to the River Walk, along with everything else we could find to do that was in between! We were located where EVERYTHING was all around us. It was easy to get to everything! The place was stocked and clean. We didn't need one thing but when we would see Sindney(and Mrs.) in passing they were always down for nice, friendly and helpful conversations or suggestions. The recliners were very comfortable. I would know this for I have a recliner critic you see, he was injured some years ago(11) and can not lay down to sleep, so a recliner it is! We normally carry our bedding and an ergonomically spring loaded reclining lawn chair with us when we travel but this lil recliner was wonderful and it was perfect and there were two! A bonus!!! We most def will go back and will recommend this place to all our friends and family. I absolutely loved it and was not ready to come home, but we had to, so until next Sidney, and Mrs. you guys take care!! And my tulip survived!! I def should have gotten more!!~debbie

  • I had been wanting to book an Airbnb Camper for some time—but hesitated (repeatedly). My last camping trips were long-ago, in childhood, and perhaps I wanted to relegate those memories and, in a sense, *reserve them* (without creating new ones that might not compare). Finally, I relented, in part because I wanted to explore Helotes more carefully, but also because, well, the time felt right. Now, I’m so-very-glad I did. The camper is set in the Deep, Deep Woods (metaphorically-speaking), and the view is. . .Superb. It is parked adjacent to the house, but the other side’s view makes it seem like you are in the woods (by yourself). And that, Fellow-Airbnbers, is exactly what I needed. I got A Wee Break from Weekly Concerns, attended two appointments, drove-a-bit in Hill Country—and explored Helotes. The whole area is safe and charming and exactly what I needed. And, too, Sidney’s Hospitality was sincere. You will enjoy your country, calming (and kind) stay here immensely.

    Charlotte2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • I actually didn't stay this time-my dad did! He said he loved it and the hosts were so sweet and kind. They were incredibly helpful and the space was comfortable for him. Highly recommended!

  • Such a perfect little get away! We saw so much wildlife and we were perfect distance to Bandera!

  • All was as described.

    Haydee2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • Benitas place was a beautiful getaway! The outdoor fire pit looked water some though we didn’t get around to enjoying it. She had charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, which was a nice amenity some hosts don’t supply so that was a good perk! There was plenty of space in the cabin for my boyfriend and I, and comfortable climate controls for the varying weather we had this December. Amazing deal and a lot of bang for the buck! Thank you Benita!

    Lauren2019-12-08T00:00:00Z

  • Was an amazing little country getaway. Had a wonderful trip thanks to Benita being a great hostess. Would recommend to anyone going to the area! 💚

    Heidi2019-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy and quiet. The wood burning stove gave us plenty of warmth for the chilly nights. Comfortable bed and pillows. Would stay here again.

    Nicole2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We saw deer every morning and evening while sitting out by the fire pit. The drive way is not suitable for a sports car but any high riding vehicle is fine. As we drive a truck it was not an issue. It is located near the end of a dead end road making for complete peace and quiet while outside which was much better than we had hoped for. A wonderful place for star gazing or just getting away from the hustle and bustle.

    James2019-10-12T00:00:00Z

  • Enjoyed our stay at the ranch. Beautiful property and view. Nice size space, clean, nice amenities. Check-in was easy and the host warmly greeted us. We enjoyed hiking in the Boerne area during the day and relaxing by the fire pit at night. You are close to the host’s home on the property but it was still private.

    Katelyn2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy cottage is romantic and the view is beautiful! It was so quiet and peaceful, our stress from life just melted away into the starry night sky.

  • Keith and Shirley are fantastic hosts and the property and surrounding scenery is absolutely gorgeous, it’s the perfect weekend getaway to reconnect with nature and one's self La Casita is very cozy, with lots of thoughtful touches, loved watching the deer in the early morning through the glass walls. I highly recommend this place.

    Martha2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Shirley's casita tucked in the hill country is in a great location. You're close driving distance to Boerne and Bandera. The casita was comfortable with views of a pond surrounded by hills and native trees. It's the perfect weekend get away from the busy city life. You'll be greeted by Shirley who is a wonderful host and accommodating. For peace and quiet look no further.

    Michael2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • From the moment I turned into the property, I was in awe of the beautiful location. Shirley is a gem, and we had a nice chat shortly after I arrived. The cabin is super cozy and comfy, with a great view of the pond and the hills, and also the deer, who are frequent visitors. I had a relaxing time, getting away from it all, and can’t wait to return!

    Susanne2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at their cozy little Casita. Easy to find, on a nice, quiet ranch near Boerne. Host was extremely nice with good recommendations for restaurants in town. Very thoughtful touches, like setting up kindling in the chiminea on the porch, Keurig with various coffee and creamer choices. The highlight was the hosts leaving a tub of deer corn for us to spread out at night, then waking up to a dozen deer grazing in front of our glass wall. Our puppy loved the wide open spaces, but had a little accident - when he saw the deer on the front porch in the morning, he ran after them straight into the screen door. Our incredible hosts were so understanding and told us not to worry about it. We will definitely be back to stay with them again. Can't recommend this Casita enough.

It is only a few miles to the next shop, so you are not completely cut off from the world. The location is exceptionally beautiful. Highly recommended for those who long for peace and quiet.

  • Great spot for a relaxing weekend getaway. Very clean space, and right on the lake. We caught so many perch off the bank, it was unreal. Wish we would’ve brought a kayak! The hammock was fun to lay and watch the sun set. Amazing views, and down by the dam there were tons of baby frogs! We absolutely the space, and easy check-in. There is another house on the property but with so much privacy you would never know it! We will definitely be back!

Welcome to the river house! Here you’ll find a comfy, secluded, private home on the banks of the Medina river, located 45 minutes outside of San Antonio and a short 15 minute drive to Bandara. This recently renovated two bedroom all rock home has a bonus room, a large full bath, spare half bath, huge fireplace, and everything a family could need to enjoy a great trip to the Medina river. The river is very family friendly and 100 yards directly in front of the house.
  • Great private location on the river with a beautiful view out front. You can hear the sound of the rapids in the river from the front porch. Older home but neat and very accommodating.

  • We spent Christmas at the Medina River cabin and had a wonderful time. The location was perfect even for a winter retreat. The space is open and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking a Christmas dinner. Will return in the summer to swim and kayak.

On 75' cliff overlooking Medina River, 14x20' rooftop deck w/stargazing & birdwatching, screened back porch, deck projecting over cliff edge & another large deck at front. Property is fenced off. River tends to start drying up in hot summer & this allows for 'rockhounds' to walk the riverbed but still flows elsewhere. Tubing, fishing & other water sports are available nearby but the views are still spectacular all year. The temperature is generally at least 5 degrees lower than San Antonio.
The rooftop deck has one of the best views in the Hill Country. The interior is decorated with painted salvaged wood, stained glass, Persian carpets, original paintings, tapestry, antique oak circular dining table etc. There are steps down to the river. There is a DVD player (but you need to bring your own DVDs). There is a barbecue and decks back and front. There is also a 24ft deck jutting out over the cliff edge over the river, anchored by engineered steel beams.
This is a great place for bird watchers during migrations. You will also see lots of deer-2 kinds-spotted & whitetail-- in the neighborhood-seen foxes too. There are some great eating places within a short distance of the property. The Backyard Bistro on Bandera Road (4 miles away) has cuisine that is world class. Jimmy Burgers at Pipe Creek offers gourmet burgers that are the best I have ever tasted. There are also excellent restaurants in Bandera and Boerne. There are a number of antique shops within ten miles. There are rodeos most weeks in Bandera as well as other events
  • Thanks!

  • Would stay again! Time of year affected river levels. Nonetheless the views were fantastic and the riverbed made for great exploration. Space is part of a small community but the land was still spacious enough for parking and grilling outside without feeling encroached on by neighbors. Clean house, comfortable beds, and relaxing vibes.

  • Every touch to the house was well thought out. The amenities were fully stocked. The only thing we really needed to bring was our personal belongings. They even left fresh food. I could go on and on. If you're looking at this review, book quick. I didn't even touch on how beautiful the view and the outdoors! We will be coming back out, soon!

  • Absolutely amazing airbnb. The home was spacious, filled with essential and extra amenities, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The area was beautiful and exactly what we were looking for in getting away from the city. Only an hour away from san Antonio and 20 from the nearest city with stores and restaurants. Would recommend this 10/10 airbnb any day of the week.

There is a large tree covered patio great for BBQing and watching wildlife. The 2 bedroom 1 bath home will sleep 6 comfortably. This is a pet friendly home. Up to two dogs are welcome. Open living room/kitchen Fireplace Fully equipped kitchen Master bedroom with king bed and queen sleeper sofa 2nd bedroom with queen bed Charcoal burning BBQ grills
The house is located in a small neighborhood. There are neighbors on either side, but none in front of or in back of the property. The house is adjacent to the community river park. Park rules apply and will be provided. Property owners in the community have access to the river park. There are many times when you will literally have the whole river to yourselves, but there may be more activity on weekends and especially holiday weekends in the summer. That being said, this river is much less crowded than the Guadalupe, Comal, or Frio.

The setting at the river is beautiful and so Picturesque...... of which you will get many great pictures. The house is comfortable and spacious and every amenity you can want or need. And if you need something, Cheryl is right there to help. Cheryl, went out of her way to help us when we had an emergency with our dog. She found an emergency hospital for us to take him and help us get him into our vehicle as he was unable to walk. She was so calm and that helped me to stay calm! I can not thank her enough. The Lodge is a charming, rustic and historic cottage set in a green pasture. The huge front deck gives you a place to relax and enjoy the view of oak trees. Inside, the tiny rock cottage has original hardwood floors and a vaulted tin ceiling with light and fan. The kitchen has an antique hoosier, farmhouse sink, tiny fridge, coffee maker and toaster. Modern mini-split heat pump cools, heats. The wood-burning stove set on a glass hearth provides additional warmth and cozy atmosphere. The large back deck gives more space to eat and relax as you watch the horses graze. One of the quirky charms about the Lodge is that the bathroom is accessed by going outside front door and walking about 25 paces to back of cottage. The spacious bathroom has concrete floors, exposed rock walls, a large open shower with rainfall shower head plus a water wand. There are two other cottages on our property that maybe occupied during your stay. The wifi signal is accessible near the kitchen window and from the front porch.
We recommend you check out Dino's and Gino's stores just a mile down the road. Dino's is a liquor store and his cousin, Gino, sells cocktail nuts, candies and more right next door. They have food truck nights with live music. In Old Town Helotes, check out the Cracked Mug coffee shop, Wine 101 for tapas, Helotes Cafe for eats, pastries and coffee. El Chaparral has iconic Mexican food experience. Also antique and gift shops in Old Town.
  • The Quirky Rustic Cottage was more than I envisioned....I loved the area, quietness, and location. The place is secluded but close enough to run into town. Ms. Linda has thought of everything for this little home. Sitting by the fire pit, relaxing indoors, or posting my feet up on the porch were all activities I took advantage of. I'd definitely recommend and will personally be back!!

    Katrice2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great little getaway. We loved the rock cabin and the quaintness and charm of the place more than made up for having to go around back to the bathroom. The bathroom itself was very comfortable and the rock walls and rain shower make it very unique. The front porch and back patio are nice touches as is the wood burning stove inside. Coffee on the back patio was a delight on the warmer morning of our stay as was the fire pit during the cooler evening. We have been to quite a few Airbnb’s and this was one of the most enjoyable.

  • I found this place to be very clean, comfortable, and perfectly sized for two people. The bathroom and shower was excellent. You could tell that Linda made sure that the cottage is very clean. Furthermore, they clearly explained the area, and the views with their horses were fantastic! For the price, I honestly think this is a bargain. I am looking forward to staying here again one day.

This house was built for guests who prefer a more secluded experience. Nestled in the oaks and cedar you hardly remember that you are in a neighborhood. You'll enjoy grilling and relaxing in the shade or watching the river run from the spacious front porch. It's just a short walk to the river where you can enjoy swimming, tubing, kayaking or just lounging in the cool clear water of the Medina. This is a pet friendly home. Up to two dogs are welcome.
This 2 bedroom 2 bathroom home will comfortably sleep 6. Beds include king, queen, twin and roll-away. The kitchen is well equipped with a large island, granite counter tops and is open to the living area so y'all can visit with each other. You'll see trees, not neighbors, no matter which window you're looking out of. Ceiling fans on the front porch will help keep you cool while you're tending to the charcoal burning grill or just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature.
The house is located in a small neighborhood. There are no neighbors on either side, or directly in front of or in back of the property. The community river park is a short walk from the house. • If you need to escape the frenzy of city life, this is the place for you! The Laurel House is secluded in a tranquil spot right by the Medina River. Birdsong gently wakens you every morning. A fabulously starry sky greets you nearly every evening. The house is wonderfully maintained and has everything you need to enjoy a cozy family vacation, complete with all the cookware needed for a stay-at-home meal. And Cheryl, the property owner, is lightning quick in her responsiveness. We can’t wait to book this property again!

    Mona2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice updated cabin with big trees surrounding it, deer running around the property and a very short walk to the river. Kitchen is well equipped & we enjoyed cooking/sitting around the large island. Porch outside is comfy, well lit. Bring a book and take in the hill country beauty. Property is not very close to a grocery/store so come prepared with your foods & beverages. I recommend this property!!! Cheryl is so available & quick to respond.

  • Excellent spot. Very Clean

    Charles2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • In planning our 5 day trip, we were wanting to meet our daughter’s family and have a visit away from the stress of nonstop city life. Laurel House was the perfect place for that, even with the below freezing temperatures on some days at the time. The hill country fall colors were so beautiful, and the wildlife abundant. The setting is in a very quiet neighborhood with more deer than people. In the design of the house, Cheryl thought of everything, I would LOVE to have a house just like it. We enjoyed the fireplace, the piano, the open kitchen area, comfortable beds, the showers, high ceilings, the front porch and rockers, the solitude, and Cheryl was always just a text away if we needed her. It would be the perfect place to play in the river in the spring/summer. We came back home to Dallas well-rested and thankful for the time we were able to spend there!

  • Talk about hitting the jackpot when we found this place. Very quaint cabin, very comfortable and nicely tucked behind the antique store on Highway 16. The antique store is delightful with all its metal art, antiques, and friendly pet pigs. The bistro next-door is absolutely outstanding! Made our stay extremely quaint, comfortable, and delicious. Will definitely stay here again.

    Sharon2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • it was a great little cabin, enjoyed our one night stay, was well worth the value, host was very nice, location is great.

    Tiffany2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Patriot Cabin is small, but charming and inviting. The area's scenery is gorgeous and the food in the restaurant was AMAZING! The cabin was well-priced for a nights stay, very clean and the details for guest comfort were well thought through (coffee bar, soft towels, games, and a beautiful sitting area outside the cabin). The sheets were especially soft and the bed was comfortable. The potbelly pigs, Wilber and Templeton, were a treat and the stars at night were one of the highlights of the trip. There were plenty of local attractions and being in the country was peaceful. We would definitely recommend this as a place to stay if you are traveling to the Texas Hill Country.

    Kaden2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and cute

    Darrel2019-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • The Patriot Cabin was small, but comfortable. The thoughtful amenities like an oil diffuser, noise machine, and movies to go along with the DVD player made our stay that much more satisfying. The pet-friendly atmosphere was also appreciated, this was the first time we've taken our dogs on vacation with us, and we feel like they enjoyed their stay as much as we did! I absolutely LOVED the Backyard Bistro. Fine-dining for affordable prices, with a diverse menu and hospitable staff! I've recommended it to all of my friends & family in town, it's a little out of the way but well worth the drive. The antiques store was a perfect compliment to the cabins and restaurant. Lots of interesting furniture and knick-knacks from a time gone by (not to mention farm fresh eggs, YUM!). Special shoutout to Wilbur and Timpleton, the two potbellied pigs that live on the property. They are just ADORABLE, and super friendly with people! I would give this host a 10/5 stars if I could, we will definitely stay here again!

The neighborhood was established by 1950's era rodeo roping champion Ray Wharton, and has been used as a fishing camp and year round home for families since. While not a fancy area -- think fishing camps and trailers -- it is friendly and comfortable. The cabin is a 20 minute drive SW of Bandera -- road is two lane no passing, so be careful
  • Very beautiful cabin in the outskirts of San Antonio! Very clean and right next to a river! We'll definitely be visiting again!

  • Was a great space to get away for a few days. The covered deck made the entire trip! Was able to play games and enjoy the outdoors. We had a fire and s’mores. We hope to come back again when it’s not cloudy to see a sunrise!

  • This cabin has everything you need. Clean, beautiful location on the river, full kitchen, nice size bathroom, comfortable bed, plus wifi, TV (though you won't want to waste this location watching TV), a wonderful covered deck, smoker, firepit, Kayaks (for rent at a reasonable rate)...wonderful place! My son and I enjoyed resting at night and adventuring on the river during the day. Have fun!

  • The house is beautiful and we spent a lovely week there. Our dog enjoyed playing outside. The host is very responsive and helpful. It’s a close drive into town for groceries, food and coffee shops. Also not far to visit San Antonio.

  • Shirley was a fantastic host. We went for a weekend to just get away and relax and that was exactly what we got. The property was beautiful, listening to the birds chirp and watching the wildlife was peaceful. I HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for a wonderful, relaxing stay

    Latischia2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Shirley was wonderful. Very warm and accommodating. And the place itself is beautiful. We were very comfortable here.

    Emilie2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • The homestead is a quiet, clean, spacious and calming place. It is very near the San Antonio and close to all the lovely restaurants and places to sight see. But you can’t hear the noise of the streets in the home. The whole place made us feel at ease. Shirley was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when she welcomed us. I would definitely come again!

    Adalid2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • Wow, we were blown away by the gracious hospitality and high level of attentive care we received during our stay. Shirley and Keith bent over backwards to make sure we were well taken care of! Our four-generation family get together could not have been held at a more serene, beautiful, and accommodating location. If you're looking for a safe bet, a sure thing, for a gorgeous Hill country stay, you've found it. We were able to relax and just enjoy each other's company in this little slice of God's country. The hosts, Shirley and Keith, are just the sweetest, most loving and caring people you could hope to meet!

Our host, Shirley, came to welcome us and was anxious to take care of any needs. We hope to return again when in the area.

A clean, comfortable and safe place to stay. There is not a full kitchen in this unit but we provide the items needed to heat meals. I will be out there occasionally, but I do not stay on the property. I'm always available for questions. If you see an improvement needed, let me know. It's a great place in a great part of Texas.
This guesthouse sits behind the main house. Everything is provided except a formal cooking area and 24/7 access to a washer/dryer. There is a washer/dryer on the premises but only available if the main house is vacant. Same goes for the kitchen.
The area is very quiet and secluded.
  • The space was nice and the host was friendly. A nice private retreat.

    Michael2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place a bit a drive to get there but that’s to be expected be careful on the roads they are not the best and turns to it come quickly so go a little slower than expected and be careful of the river crossings not exactly like a real bridge. The house was great and very private and left alone. The home is a little hot when you get there but the AC Unit on the wall takes care of it. Shower with the window open in the bathroom if you want it to not heat up the rest of the place. Other than that a wonderful place and not anything less than expected. Go through the big gate on the left and park on the left side of the carport if you’re wondering. Be careful in flooding season otherwise you may get trapped there for a bit. Both the ways out of the area have low nonrailing bridges that barely go over the water so be careful. A perfect quiet place to be all in all.

    Kris And Julie2016-07-31T00:00:00Z

You'll love staying in this very private bed and breakfast cabin with its picturesque and especially serene view of the Texas hill country while kicking back on the spacious front deck. Our "Tiny" is situated by itself on a hilltop in the corner of our 10 acre property in a secluded and quiet neighborhood. We are close by if you need us, but you will be given complete privacy to enjoy the relaxing and peaceful getaway you deserve.
Our Tiny is a custom built 325 sq. ft. tiny house with a pleasant, modern rustic vibe. It will sleep up to 4 adults with a queen bed in the semi private bedroom and a full size futon sleeper in the living room area. This futon is no ordinary futon! It was designed for overnight comfort with an 8 inch thick innerspring mattress that will comfortably accommodate 2 adults. This house may be considered tiny, but the amenities are anything but. There is a standard size tub and shower in the bathroom and a full kitchen equipped with a gas top stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and plenty or counter-top space. Over the years, we have stayed in many different types of B&Bs. We find that we prefer the non traditional type where you can enjoy coffee and breakfast in the comfort of your own private cabin without trying to make a specific serving time or mingling with strangers that you would rather not socialize with when you are still wiping the sleep from your eyes. So, that's what we have decided to offer our guests. We will provide you with all of the basic ingredients necessary for you to make your own breakfast in the comfort of your own space and when you are ready. We usually have bacon or sausage, farm fresh eggs from our coop, hash browns, juice, and yogurt stocked for you in the fridge. There is a large, 250 sq. ft. front deck right outside the french doors overlooking a beautiful valley view of the Texas hill country. During the day, take in the view from the bench seating and Adirondack chairs in the shade underneath the large electric retractable awning. And at night, enjoy the small fire pit with a custom built limestone bench for you to cozy up, toast up some smores, or pick the guitar under the stars. Most guests choose our cabin for its quiet, in-the-country vibe and prefer to "unplug". However, there is a flat screen TV in the living area and another one in the bedroom. There is no cable or satellite service so the TVs are for watching DVDs or connecting to your phone to watch Netflix or other online streaming options. There is a small library of DVDs in the cabin and a Redbox located nearby in Pipe Creek.
If you are looking for a quiet, out-of-the city, get away, then you will love the convenience of our tranquil hill country neighborhood. We are within about 20 minutes of Boerne, Helotes, San Antonio, Bandera, and Lake Medina. Enjoy the peaceful quiet serenity of our cabin or you can “day-trip” to many of the nearby hill country towns. There is much to do in the Texas hill country and our cabin makes a great home base to travel from. Our neighborhood also offers the only winery in Bandera County, the Timber Ridge Winery. The winery offers free tastings of their two delightful wines and is less than a mile down the road, about a 15 minute leisurely stroll.
  • We loved our stay in Tiny! Close enough to the city if you want to go out but perfect if you are looking for a night under the stars and coffee with a view.

    Victoria2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The Tiny is a beautiful, peaceful getaway. We loved the stay with the great fire pit outside. We were able to go to the local winery and have wine by the fire with amazing conversation. We lacked nothing and were so cozy and comfortable. It was an easy drive into Bandera or Boerne.

    Paige2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

    Jonathan2020-02-09T00:00:00Z

    Rebecca2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this space!! Pictures don’t do it justice. The breakfast was an awesome plus. Beautiful views, amazing space!

    Kristin2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Greg and Jamie really have something special here! Our whole experience is something that we will never forget. The hospitality that this amazing couple extended to my wife and I made our moment atop of hill country that much more spectacular. Our favorite moment was sitting on the bench over looking the hill, watching the sunset. After watching the skyline change colors and the rays from the sun disappeared; the stars started to light up one by one. Thank you, Greg and Jamie, for making it a memorable trip for my wife and I.

    James2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the “Tiny.” Greg and Jamie were great hosts and were super sweet to give us a quick run through of the house/property at check-in. The breakfast that was left for us to make was a nice added bonus to our stay.

  • I am not usually fond of the country or farm-type lifestyle. We usually vacation in big cities. However, as a stressed out teacher about to go forth into STAAR testing season, I wanted something different: to escape from everyone and everything and just relax. I definitely got what I asked for at this cottage. It was very cozy and quiet. The bed was comfortable and the decorations are very authentic. We went mountain-biking in the state park and grilled New York Strips on the adorable pig pit. The friendly kitties were possibly my favorite thing. We are “cat parents” so having the cats hang around made it feel like home away from home. The only problems we ran into were the hot tub heating in a timely manner. We let it run for a good four hours and it remained cold, so we gave up. I think the heating element may be going out. Also, we were awakened by construction workers walking on the roof and using power tools around 8:45 on the morning of our departure without warning. I guess that was a sign they were ready for us to leave! All in all, it was a great vacation and I would return without hesitation.

    Brittany2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Such a perfect little place to stay. So relaxing and the personal touches were just amazing. We would absolutely stay again.

My home is 1,650 square feet and very spacious. I strive to make my home comfortable and relaxing so that my guests feel at home. It is a mix of western decor, antiques and some modern furniture that meld together for that Texas ambiance.
Experience the Texas ambiance in a roomy comfortable home just 1/2 mile from downtown Bandera. Guests have private rooms with keyed locks to ensure their privacy but share the guest bathroom with any other guests that are staying also. All common areas such as the living room, kitchen and dining room are shared. Also provided for guests is a coffee and tea bar. Guests can relax on the back patio, have a fire in the fire pit and/or utilize the bbq pit if they want. Since my home is located just a short distance from downtown guests can drive there in less than five minutes or have a short walk. Their are many parks within minutes of Bandera and close proximity to three different rivers that allows guests to experience floating the rivers, kayaking, fishing or just hanging out at the water. Mainly my goal is to make your experience here a great one.
My home is just off Main Street (Hwy 16) in a very nice neighborhood and close proximity to downtown Bandera.

  • This cabin is the bomb!!! The view is spectacular and beautiful! Me and my future hubby went to the cabin on April 12th through the 15th of April and we could have stayed longer!!! We also took our fur babies, Bella and Zoey and they both loved it. I only have great things to say about Susie's place. She did come by on horseback to say hi, but I missed meeting her because I was visiting a friend in Bandera. Next time I will get to meet you! I highly recommend contacting Susie about her cabins in Pipe Creek. You will not be disappointed in any way..... Loved every moment of it. The accommodations are superb, the beds are comfy and the decor is beautifully done... Oh, Chowder did come by and say hello and marked his territory!!!! Thank you for everything! We will definitely come back!!!!

  • We visited the Bluff House over Fourth of July weekend, as an escape from city hustle and bustle. It was the perfect spot to rest, relax and recenter. The views were awesome and the atmosphere is very peaceful. The house is very comfortable, both for us and our two dogs. There's everything you could need, already available in the house. Perfect spot for a long weekend escape!

  • Our family had a great stay at this house, location was close to Bandera where we were able to go horseback riding and play on the Medina river. The creek was close by down a hill and we rode our bikes and explored the area. The boats provided were fun for our family, probably not the best time to come for nice clean water but we still had fun. We made lots of memories here and will be back!

    Diana2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Our family enjoyed a very quiet and secluded stay. The house was very clean and comfortable and the host thought of everything we might need. Our kids enjoyed swimming and snorkeling in the clear water and had fun catching perch right off the dock. We also enjoyed the canoe and paddle boat. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing time.

    Wendy2019-07-26T00:00:00Z

Wake up to the beauty of the hilltop and experience Glamping at Bella Green B&B! Perfectly situated beneath an oak tree canopy and with magical views of the Texas Hill Country and dark, dark skies --- you will love it here. It is the ultimate getaway for couples, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, or solo journeyers who are looking to relax and refresh. There's a private hot tub & firepit too! Our on-site massage & artisan breakfasts are extra.
Staying in the light and bright 16 foot Lotus Belle is very relaxing and combined with it's hilltop views, is extraordinary! It is a great space to reclaim yourself, reconnect with nature, and celebrate life at it's finest! This unique glamping space has AC & heat to help you stay comfortable while inside. It comes with a high end queen bed, luxury sheets and towels, pour over coffee pot, mini-fridge, sink & mirror inside the tent and fire items including lighter, fat wood, 6 pieces of firewood included (you can purchase more for $1/log wood if you want a longer fire or bring your own). Coffee and tea, as well as unlimited alkaline filtered water and a sweet snack are also provided. A traditional toilet and awesome outdoor shower are steps away in the outdoor bath house. The delicious artisan breakfast is available for an extra $10.00pp and we highly recommend it - but totally optional. There is also silverware, dishes, and paper towels for your use. If you are planning to cook on the fire pit, you may want to bring along some charcoal -- and misquote spray if you are prone to being bitten. If you like wine, there is a small winery which is open Saturdays and Sundays only that is within walking distance -- Timber Ridge Winery. Just outside your door is a private sitting area with comfortable chairs, private firepit and the view! You also have access to a private outdoor Hot Tub (fun to watch the stars at night).
Bella Green has three unique rental options - the Lotus Belle (for those who seek Glamping), the Escape Tiny House (a contemporary maple wood space with tons of glass windows), and our original Guesthouse with screened porch. We accept 1-2 guests only per space - no children/no pets - to keep it extra peaceful. All have their own private outdoor firepit area, and there is plenty of space between each. The neighborhood itself is a fairly small and most homeowners have a minimum 5-10 acres of land, You will enjoy the peace here.... Also, because we are a bit remote (it comes with the quiet...) if you've driven far to get here, you may want to grab a bite before getting here-- In Pipe Creek, we recomment Backyard Bistro - but know it is only open Thrusday- Sunday. Otherwise you can enjoy a scenic drive to the quaint towns of Boerne or Bandera for dinner and there are LOTS of great choices -- but the drive will be anywhere from 16-25 minutes (all scenic). Here are some of our favorite things to do -- if you want to leave and explore a bit: Towns to explore: ***Pipe Creek — Clean air, beautiful hills, peaceful quiet serenity, and far away from the maddening crowd! From here, you can “day-trip” to almost all of the HILL COUNTRY CITIES, so it makes a great home base to travel from. Plus, there are awesome local options! FOOD: Backyard Bistro – Farm to Market options with a cute outside area. Music on many Saturday nights. Best “close by” restaurant plus wonderful home-made ice cream. Open on Thursday-Sunday afternoons only. SHOPPING: Country Accents Antiques (it is in FRONT of the Backyard Bistro – making it a bit hard to find the Bistro… we think you’d enjoy checking out both!) WINE: Within walking distance (weekends only) and just two blocks down the hill is Timber Ridge Winery which sells bottles only of their two personal blends that are delightful. FUN/RELAXATION: Our guest rave about the authentic Horseback riding experience at Cross G Ranch, or simply sit outdoors, look at the stars, listen to nature, enjoy the crackle, smell and glow of the fire pit, take a walk up or down the hills near Bella Green, grab a book from the Bella Green library, book a massage (to sleep like a baby), or consider a private WATSU session at Deer Creek Sanctuary. ***Boerne — Antiques / Art / Great Food & Shopping! Year round parades, festivals, and cultural events fill the air with music and merriment. The Kendall County Fair, Chocolate Walk, Berges Fest, Wings Over Boerne, Parade of Artists, Cibolo Songs & Stories, Harvest Moon Celebration, Abendkonzerte, Weihnachts Fest, Dickens on Main, Boerne Market Days and the Key to the Hills Rod Run are some of the activities that draw people from near and far away. http://www.visitboerne.org/. Our recommended Boerne favorites include: SHOPPING: EVERYTHING on Main Street (great boutiques, antique stores, and resale shops!) FOOD: Cypress Grill, The Creek, Dodging Duck Brewhaus (our overall favorite casual restaurant!), 259 Brantley’s Bistro +Drink Texas Biergarten is directly behind it (Live music most Saturday nights), Chilito’s Express, Piknik Cafe (inside Nature’s Presence Health Store) Dog and Pony Grill – best salad bar in the area, Boerne Epicure. FUN: 2nd Saturdays Art Walk and FREE Shuttle Bus (monthly during Market Days!), Hill Country Paddle Sports & Sup Yoga, River Road Park (bring seeds to feed the ducks) &/or walk the old train tracks, Cibolo Nature Center, Boerne Lake, our favorite Cave Without a Name, and Enchanted Springs Ranch. ARTS: Boerne Community Theater and Boerne Performing Arts. Like Wine? Boerne Wine Company Like Beer? Drink Texas Biergarten – Random Beer Garden – Dodging Duck Brewhaus – Boerne Brewery (free tasting tours on Fridays only from 2-4:45 pm) ***Bandera — Cowboy Capital of the World. Visiting Bandera is like stepping back to an old-time rustic Western town, full of dude ranches, cattle, and horses, and trail rides, and where chivalry, live music, and dancing abound. There is a spirit of independence here – and a special pride that speaks to the cowboy tradition of hard work and hard play. http://banderacowboycapital.com/contents.cfm?pg=todo . Our recommended favorites include: FUN: Bandera City Park (on the river), Hill Country State Natural Area, Rodeos – seasonal, Kayaking or Floating the river (seasonal), Horseback riding – MANY options to choose from (contact Hill Country State Natural for providers or try www.banderahistoricalrides.com, www.facebook.com/pages/Juniper-Hill-Stables, www.silverspur-ranch.com MUSIC: 11th Street Cowboy Bar – Grab your cowboy hat and boots and come out for a cold beer, LIVE MUSIC and dancing at this outdoor venue which we highly recommend. We especially love their Wednesday Steak Nights with live music (BYO meat to grill; get your sides, plates and silverware there) & their Sunday afternoon Jam Sessions. Also if you are into history, Arkey Blues Silver Dollar Saloon is an authentic Honkey Tonk complete with sawdust on the floor (for boot-scooting) and sadly, cigarette smoke that hangs in the air… EDUCATIONAL: Visit the Bandera Natural History Museum, Frontier Times Museum, Polly Peak Chapel. SHOPPING: Gunslinger’s (hands down Karen’s favorite store!), Love’s Antiques and Collectables Mall (you can get lost inside here – very fun!), Graceful, The Western Store. FOOD: Brick’s River Cafe, Wednesday Steak Night at 11th Street Cowboy Bar, China Bowl on Main Street, Bandera General Store (We love their Soda Fountain!), and Chicken George’s food truck for Take-home (across from Brick’s) ***San Antonio: Our favorite places include the Riverwalk (and Boudro’s to eat), Pearl Brewery area (and all the food there) plus their weekend Farmer’s Market, walking the SA Missions, the San Antonio Zoo, the botanical garden, lots of great Museums, Seaworld, Fiesta Texas, the walking the neighborhood of majestic homes in King Williams (stopping at Mad Hatter Tea House here), the trolley cars, the riverboat tours, bike rentals along the Riverwalk, and Segway tours. WE LOVE THIS BIG CITY!! http://visitsanantonio.com/ Other favorite Hill Country towns to explore: ***Helotes – Flores Country Store has great live music! El Chaparral Mexican Resturant and Market Days! ***Bergheim – The Guadalupe River is usually a not crowded and awesome place to tube, kayak and, or canoe. Rent yours at Bergheim River Outfitters and Campground. O’Brien’s is a really nice restaurant too. ***Sisterdale/Comfort/Fredericksburg – Don’t miss the wine tours and tastings, antiques and shopping; Enchanted Rock (contact Texas Climbing Adventures if you want to climb), Wildseed Farms, Main Street(s), Medina Hoff Winery, Artisan’s at Rocky Hill, helicopter tours, Sunset Grill (Fredericksburg), High’s Cafe (Comfort), Fredericksburg Herb Farm, the Sculpture Ranch (Fredericksburg), and roadside peaches when in season! ***Vanderpool – Lost Maples State Park (especially beautiful in the Fall but we like it all the OTHER times because the crowds are so small and we are often the only one’s there). ***San Marcus – this is our FAVORITE (but can be too crowded) river to tube because of the crystal clear water PLUS and they have a GIANT outlet mall! Food favorites: The Root Cellar, Shade Rooftop Patio Bar, Boho Bites and Dick’s Classic Garage. ***Gruene – It is super fun to walk and explore the “old town” Gruene Square and its many shops, restaurants, galleries, and music (the famous Gruene Dance Hall! is here). Favorite dining spots: Gruene River Grill, Riverhouse Tea Room, Mosie’s Bar and Grill, Boho Bites. ****New Braunfels – Old World Charm plus Schliterbaum Water Park, Landa Park with its wonderful natural swimming hole with ropes to swing from, Natural Bridge Caverns (we love caves!) and Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. Plus New Braunfels overflows with old-world heritage and small town charm. ****Austin – a hidden favorite is the Hamilton Pool (waterfalls) on the Pedernales River, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Lake Travis, the bats at Congress Ave. Bridge, Whole Foods (its ORIGINAL location), the many food trucks, Shady Grove Restaurant, Jester King Brewery, and much more! To find LIVE MUSIC locally:

This is one of two rental units located at this location. Our philosophy for our Hill Country Getaway is that everyone needs some time to enjoy what life has to offer. We would also require that both rental units are rented for your event so as not to have other guests sharing the facility, so please check availability for both units for the possible dates of your special event.
We are one of only a few properties on our street, It is very relaxing and peaceful. We are far enough away from the city so that we are able to view the night sky with little light pollution. Perfect for enjoying a night in the hot tub.
  • We met Tony upon arrival and he is super nice! He showed us how everything works in the pool cabana area, which was very helpful! The pool cabana area is really cool and it’s fun to hang out there. Love the fireplace and fire pit, as well as the waterfalls and the bed by the pool. There is a nice sound system with good music options. Hot tub works well and is clean. The place wasn’t quite as secluded as we had hoped, as walking out the front door you see the neighbor’s house across the street, and look directly at the other building on the property. The video cameras feel a little strange... I understand why they could be needed in case others trespass on the property, but as a guest, it did feel a little weird to feel like you were being watched while trying to relax. Everything was very clean. We appreciated that the linen closet had some guest essentials, very thoughtful. Bedding was high quality and fresh. Very comfortable.

  • Perfect getaway spot for our first year wedding anniversary 💕 It really was cozy, felt like home and we felt at peace. We had never been to Helotes and we fell in love with it. Can’t wait to go back!!! So glad I stumbled upon this Airbnb.

  • What a great weekend getaway!! My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to relax that wasn’t too far of a drive and this ended up being a perfect location! We had a great time enjoying all of the amenities including the hot tub, fire pit, lavender infused sauna, bocce ball, and listening to the music down by the pool. It was too cold for us to actually swim, but it looks like it would be a great place to hang out in the summer, which we plan on doing. Can’t wait to relax at this wonderful spot again sometime in the future!

  • The perfect getaway from the big city! We drove from Houston (about 3.5 hours) and really enjoyed a weekend of quiet away from all the craziness. Can't wait to go back!
