Our stay was unique! The ultra-modern, energy-efficient Sonnenhaus in Schwertberg impresses with the great architecture and the even more impressive technical handling. An ideal place to relax, with really lovely and accommodating hosts - absolutely recommendable!

Elizabeth had a wonderful house which was close to Linz and other surrounding areas. We enjoyed the house very much with two living rooms, a very nice yard and large bedrooms. She left all the basic amenities as well as many extras. If we ever travel to the area again, we would love to stay at her place.

We were received very jovial. Everything was explained well. The location was fine the climb to the house was not too bad, the location was good from there were nice bicycle tours along the Danube. Even further away towards Linz were beautiful tours and it's a beautiful city. Mauthausen was impressive. 4 days is still very small. We love to come back someday but four of us.

This was the perfect spot to relax. It was just my new husband and I on our honeymoon and we loved unwinding here, obviously it was more than enough room for us, but it was comfortable and nice to have even more room than we have in our small apartment! It was a great base for us as we did several day trips to the west/Alps and easy enough to get to from Vienna. If you are Austrian this will not be a surprise, but if you are coming to the house via rail, be advised the hill to the cottage is VERY steep and rather long. It would be difficult with excessive or rolling luggage. But nicely convenient to a grocery and several restaurants and shops in the village. On clear days you can see the Alps off in the distance and the views are beautiful. We miss it already!

Elisabeth and Joseph made us feel very welcome in their holiday house. They met us and showed us around and handed over the keys. This is an ideal house for a family or a few friends as it is large and has 4 double bedrooms and several living areas as well as a large dinning and kitchen area plus outside sitting and dining area. It is open and comfort ale and well equipped. The village is next to the Danube and main road ( but set well up the hill so it is not noisy at all) and is close enough to travel to areas of interest around the area but you do need a car. A lovely stay.

It was cosy, well equipped, fab location, spacious & comfortable. We had a great time. The photos on the site do not give justice to the sheer size of the house!

We had a quiet relaxing weekend in this beautiful and very fully equipped house. as others have noted - a highlight - the tiled stove. we would like to once again in the summer to come back to garden, balcony and the many specials to benefit the environment.

We felt comfortable from the first minute. Received and explained everything Magdalena's Papa. Everything was very clean and completely furnished and / or. One arrives and is already on vacation. The beautifully landscaped garden is sure to contribute to this. We have only got our kids back into the house with great difficulty ... We will be back!

The house was easy to find. When we arrived we have been warmly welcomed and received a briefing and guidance through the house. It was all there needs what man for a relaxing holiday. The stove was the highlight of the house for me. Quiet location and Unique Aussich.

Ich habe mit meiner Familie (insgesamt 3 Generationen) eine Woche in dem idyllischen Haus verbracht. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Geschirrtücher - alles vorhanden! Beide Gasthäuser im Ort bieten auch Frühstück an, ein Luxus, den wir uns immer wieder gegönnt haben. Zum Badeteich sind wir mit dem Auto gefahren, mit zwei kleinen Kindern war der Weg zu Fuß zu weit und zu steil. Dafür kann man direkt vom Haus aus zum Schwammerling wandern! Das Haus ist klein, hat aber alles, was man braucht. Wer mit Kindern reist, sollte bedenken, dass es sehr hellhörig ist, wer mit mehreren Personen unterwegs ist, dass ein Schlafzimmer ein Durchgangszimmer zum dritten Schlafzimmer ist (das zweite ist getrennt begehbar). Der Esstisch bietet genug Platz für Memory, der Wohnzimmerfußboden für die Holzeisenbahn und der Garten um sich gegenseitig mit dem Schlauch nass zu spritzen. Wir haben die Woche sehr genossen!

Es war für uns als Familie ein ganz toller und unvergesslich, schöner Urlaub. Ein charmantes Holzhaus. Ein eigenes Garten. Die Kinder waren hellbegeistert, da der Badesee auch nur ein paar Minuten Fußweg hat. Direkt am Badesee gibt es ein Restaurant, die Post, kleinen Kiosk, eine Tante-Emma-Laden mit allen Kleinigkeiten, Tabak, frische Brötchen. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Haus ist voll ausgestattet. Abends saßen wir noch im Garten am Feuer. Die Nachbarn sind sehr nett. Und Magdalenas Papa ist der beste Papa. Er ist 24 Stunden erreichbar. Ich kann mich im Namen von mir und meiner Familie nur ganz herzlich für alles Bedanken! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Lambros and his lovely wife welcomed us with open arms. The apparment was very spacious and far better than many hotels I have stayed in. Certainly worth the money! Plus we really liked the robot vacuumcleaner ;).

Lambros house is a piece of haven. In garden the wind bells will charm you, Hector will play with you and Lambros and his wife will be the perfect hosts. The apartment is big, clean and with everything you need inside. By far the best Airbnb experience that I had. Hope to return soon. Thank you Lambros

Great family at Enns (close to Linz). House - Tastefully built and room was spacious. There was WC and shower on the same floor. It looked it was for my use only =) Parking is available in front of the house. I recommend having car while staying here as it is not market area. Hosts - Nicole was very nice host and Stefan is very prompt on emails. I felt very welcoming by hosts and the two dogs. I recommend staying here as this is good location (very serene) and kind hosts.

Nicole and Stefan were really welcoming and friendly and very accommodating about the fact that we arrived later than planned. The rooms were lovely too and all in all I would thoroughly recommend!

We only stayed one night at Stefan. Everything worked out easily. He himself was not there, but key handover was no problem. The room is big enough and has everything you need. The house is very quiet!

Stefan and Nicole welcomed me very warmly, I even could join dinner. The location is outside the town centre, but it takes you only 20 minutes to get there on foot. The room was clean and spacious. There are three big but very friendly dogs who like a cuddle. You are free to use the kitchen and you can feel really at home. Just behind the house leads a path into the woods where one can walk nicely. Depending on the house keepers' agenda, you can spend the evening together with them or home alone.

Nicole was a very sweet hostess (though I came outrageously late and she had been asleep), the two dogs are also great and the house is really beautiful. I felt very well, everything was totally uncomplicated and very warm :)

beautiful and recent house, room and service ok. We could also choose a location in the garden (wooden house) though no services (you have to use the ones inside the house). Used only one night (for 4 people) as a stop for a visit to Linz, which is a 20 'by car. We did not know the host it out for the weekend. Stumble a pub within walking distance that has a bit 'disturbed the early hours of the night. Car parking adjacent to the house. Thank you

Very nice and friendly family, clean and large apartment with all possible and necessary furniture and appliances. Nice and quiet surroundings, but Linz is also easily reachable. Feels like home, highly recommended.

Walter and Heurte were wonderful Air BnB guests who did everything they could to make us feel welcome, including bringing out the toys for our wee boy. The room was small and well equipped for our needs. Overall it was a great AirBnB experience.

Walter and Hertha are wonderful hosts! We spent fantastic weeks! They were kind enough to let us check in even after midnight, and welcomed us on the first day so warm that we really felt at ease. They were always helpful, have gone to great lengths to make our stay as pleasant as possible, which is them succeeded wonderfully. We have become so hit it off immediately, as if we were friends with each other for years. We Hertha and Walter firmly to my heart, and when we return to Linz, then mainly because of them also.

Walter is a very nice host and guide of Linz. The room and everything are all prepared pretty well. The bed is warm and comfortable. If I have a chance to go to Linz again, I would love to stay there again.

It was an awesome experience to stay with the Hauser family! Walter and Herta were one of the nicest hosts I've every met. They were always willing to help with whatever you need and also like to share their own traveling experiences. They treated me like a family member, which is the greatest feeling when you are out at an entirely new place. The room itself is very nice, too. There's enough space and everything is prepared. It's easy to get around the town by walking, and the public transportation is also convenient. If I ever come back here, I will chose to stay with the Hauesr family again.

My wife and I really appreciated everything about this house, very nice, comfortable, clean and in a good state. I think that we would choose it again for another eventual trip in Austria because of Walter adn his wife' kindness, we felt very good during our stayand we really hope to come soon in Austria.
