The place is exactly as described and actually better than I imagined. I used Christian's house as a place to stay for my daughters graduation at GA Southern as every hotel was pretty much booked. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house was impeccably clean and had all the amenities and more than your regular hotel. The view is breathtaking and Christian is a very gracious host. I plan to return here for another visit.

Christian and his roommate were great! They made us feel welcome and comfortable. The basement apartment was beautiful with access to the dock in the backyard. There is easy come and go access to the apartment with out disturbing anyone. I would stay here again.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The spacious apartment is very nice. We enjoyed fishing on the private dock, playing pool, walking to Fish Tales, and exploring Fort McCallister. Brittany, Christian, and their neighbors were very warm and friendly. We had a wonderful time.

What a spacious, elegant, clean and lovely home! I would definitely recommend this place if you have some children or are two couples traveling together as there are two separate bedrooms and the house itself is quite large. I stopped here on my way home traveling north from Florida to South Carolina for some R&R. I left feeling refreshed and ready to start the new day! Not too far from Tybee or I-95. I think it's about 25 minutes from I-95, and about 25 minutes to Tybee. Very close to Savannah downtown. I was attracted to the beautiful interior decorating and wanted some place that was similar to a nice hotel price but was unique. This fit the bill! Thanks Susan.

Susan's home was fantastic. We had two levels all to ourselves, a beautiful porch overlooking a pond, and the perfect bar to make drinks and enjoy each others company. I could not have found a more amazing place to entertain my best friend for her bachelorette! We would absolutely book again. Susan was a great host. She made sure that we were informed of the house rules, how best to find her home and the best spots to visit during our stay. I, and our entire group, was beyond happy with our stay!! Everything was spectacular. The host was courteous and accommodating. They literally thought of everything. The photos on the ad are beautiful however it is even more beautiful in person. Unfortunately we were there for just one night but made sure to take advantage of the back private patio and the bar. The master room and closet is every woman's dream. We will be back.

Phil's place was as described right next to a State Park, it was a very nice private location. The home was nicely finished and care was put into the remodel. The location of this home was nice for walking as river views abound with a local waterfront restaurant. It was about a 30 minute ride to Savannah.

Phil's place is beautiful and in a great location. It is not too far from downtown Savanah and is just before the state park. Check in was super easy and really exceeded our expectations.

Beautifully remodeled in-law suite with a historic park and river right next to it. The wifi was great and everything was clean. They even typed us up a personal note and had brochures and take out menus. They provided us with snacks and water free of charge which was a really nice touch. They really take care of you here!

What an honor to be the first guests in so lovely a home with such gracious hosts! This is a premier neighborhood off the beaten path about 25 mins from downtown Savannah. Bass fishing, lovely bike trails, beautiful scenery salt water marshes, and generous accomodations. What a perfect experience. We will definitely stay again! :)

What an incredible, lovely visit to the island sanctuary! My only regret is that I didn't have more time! Phil was very gracious, helpful, and organized. I enjoyed getting the few texts before my visit with helpful maps and welcoming words. When I arrived it started to rain and Phil was ready with a loaner umbrella, he really has thought of everything. I enjoyed his company and he was very friendly when I sought out someone to talk with but also was happy to let me have my own quiet time if I wanted it. Phil and Beverly's home is very warm and inviting and sits on an incredible wildlife reserve. Not only did I have a beautiful private room and bath with an extremely comfortable bed but I had access to the sunroom which looked out on their lovely backyard, for my enjoyment. The highlight of my stay was a private, sunrise tour of the island by golf cart where I learned more about the area and saw a beautiful sunrise as well as deer and an owl. I look forward to returning to Savannah and staying again, hopefully next time with my family. Although this home is outside of the city, the drive into downtown Savannah was quite easy and it well worth the accommodations to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. I almost feel like I got two vacations in one!

We kept mostly to ourselves, partly because we had so little time to spare and were gone most of the time. Phil and Beverly respected our desire for solitude but were there for us if we needed them. Wonderful home and neighborhood. Wish we could have spent more time! Loved Rocky!

Beverly and Phil are a sweet couple and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. They welcomed us to the house with some refreshing sweet tea and took us on a tour of the beautiful island that they live on. True to the listing, the home is an island sanctuary - it is quiet and relaxing, staying here could be a vacation in and of itself. However, if you are looking for a little more variety, the house is fairly close (a short drive) to downtown Savannah as well as Tybee island. One thing we found extremely helpful during our stay was the binder that was left in our room that contained maps, tours, informational guides, and recommended restaurants. We used these frequently during our stay. I definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for having us!

The house, the room and the whole island was very beautiful just as shown in the description and photographs. Phillip and Beverley were wonderful hosts. Phillip also gave us a tour of the island in his golf cart which was just fantastic. We had a very nice relaxing time and wished we could have stayed longer. We will surely return for a longer trip.

My son has wanted to visit Savannah for a while now and having only a couple of days I wanted us to maximize on experiencing the full scope of the area... Phil and Beverly's place was perfect! It's was clean, comfortable and inviting. Phil and Beverly were very accommodating and provided Gluten free breakfast cookies and bread for me... Which were very tasty! Thank you! Our space was very roomy and comfortable ( bed and sheets were awesome!) Bathroom spacious and very nice linens all around. The Island was amazing and we were able to experience it more by the great golf cart tour Phil gave us after arriving. The opportunity to fish was an added bonus! Adding to the list of hi-lights was enjoying the pool and the "light" show at night... This was a big hit with my son! All the recommendations were great too! They take extra care in providing a clean, comfortable and enjoyable stay with little extra touches. I enjoyed my conversations too! I would highly recommend their home for your next vacation!

Phenomenal property! We stayed for a weekend and barely wanted to leave the place to explore the Savannah area. Phyllis was an incredible host, and she anticipated our every need. We went crabbing off the dock and could have gone kayaking if we wanted to. The rooms were nice and clean, and toiletries and towels were available. Definitely stay here for a relaxing, tranquil getaway!

What a beautiful and peaceful place to take a break from the city! The home was tastefully decorated and had gorgeous lake views. Phyllis could not have been nice or more accommodating- she allowed us to bring our pups and make use of the kayak and crabbing on the property. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend it!!!!

Carolyn's home is lovely: spacious, comfortable, and nicely decorated with plenty of natural light. The guest bedroom and bathroom are right next to each other and located across the house away from the master suite, so you feel as if you have your own private space. Carolyn made us feel welcome throughout the house - so we also spent time in the kitchen and living room. We enjoyed several conversations about a variety of topics. Her little dog Scooter is adorable and so well-behaved! Details about the guest space: the bed is super comfy; the room has a large window that looks out on the pretty backyard and lets in plenty of light during the day while the wide horizontal blinds allow you to sleep in peacefully as late as you want; there's a nice-sized closet with an iron and ironing board; and the bathroom is stocked with plenty of amenities (should you need them). It's a delightful neighborhood where the houses aren't on top of each other. There's a strip mall not far away with a Publix grocery store, Asian restaurant, ice cream shop, Subway, and a McDonalds. And it's only 25-30 minutes to downtown Savannah. Highly recommended if you like pleasant, quiet, and comfortable. :-)

As my first airbnb experience, Ms. Carolyn has most definitely set the bar high. I wasn't expecting such a warm, welcoming, inclusive experience...but that is exactly what I got! The moment you walk in, you feel as if you are stepping inside of the pages of "Home & Gardens." The accommodations were far exceeding all expectations. Bonus: she offers great conversation and home-cooked meal! Great for solo female travelers! If you are considering booking in savannah, choose Ms. Carolyn's place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Even though Carolyn was out of town for the weekend, she kept constant communication to ensure that we had everything that we needed for our visit. Her home is beautiful and the room was very comfortable. We loved all of the special touches she added to make it extra welcoming, from fresh flowers in the room to cookies by the coffee pot. We were in town visiting the Tara Feis Irish festival in Savannah but we were so pleasantly surprised by Richmond Hill area that we adjusted our plans on our last day to enjoy breakfast in town and then tour the Georgia Coastal Botanical Gardens. We highly recommend Carolyn's home to anyone looking for a nice quiet stay outside of the hustle of downtown!

We had a short 4 day 3 nights trip to Savannah, I was so glad to find Carolyn's place for our stay. All the pics she's posted on here cannot even nearly do the justice of her place! The house is straight out of any home decor magazine - elegant, neat yet very comfortable! you can feel she has put her heart and her good taste to almost every corner of her house! Our stay was perfect, Carolyn has given us the warmest care and she is the most thoughtful hostess ever you can find on Airbnb, she has even put out some toys and books just for my little one - a 19 months old. Her dog Scooter is the sweetest dog you could ever met, I almost wanted to steal him from her at the end, my boy has played so well with Scooter, so thats an extra point for helping me with the staying while we were busy clean and pack or settle down. The room we have stayed is far away from Carolyn's bedroom, which gives us all the privacy we could ask for, and we have an entire bathroom just for us right outside our bedroom door, needless to say, she has everything that we could ever need, from hair dryer to bath soap and extra towels! Thank you so much Carolyn, we truly have enjoyed our trip, best luck to you!!

You feel like you're in a magazine layout and its almost starts feeling like you live there after a few days. Overall relaxing and peaceful. The best airbnb I have ever been to. Carolyn's home was absolutely spotless and it was wonderful that I could bring my dog. It's not that far from savannah and we just drove there everyday! Carolyn provides coffee, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and so much more. I felt right at home and will definitely be back.

I had an absolutely amazing stay with Julie and her family! The house was nice, clean, and cozy-- loved using the pool as well! It was convenient to downtown Savannah as well as the local beaches. Julie was an accommodating host who was happy to help with suggestions about what to do in the area. Not to mention, they have baby squirrels staying there-- so cute!

Wonderful location, just 20 minutes to Savannah. Private and secluded with an amazing yard and pool. Guest house was perfect size for my family - myself, my husband and my two boys 12 and 14. Julie was cordial, communicative and check in was a breeze. Would love to stay again when we are in the area!

Very quiet at night. If we come back to this area we would make it a point to stay here again.

This is an amazing place to get away. It's off the beaten path with an amazing water front view! Kay and Joe are just the nicest people! I was able to just set out on the deck and watch the sun set! It was very peaceful! The apartment it's self was clean and much larger then the photos show. I felt safe and at home right away! Everything is labeled so you know where you are headed! Prefect get away!

We had a very relaxing visit at Kay and Joe's. Our accommodations were spacious and comfortable. Special detail was given to meet our expected needs. We enjoyed watching the wildlife, the river, and even the approaching thunderstorms.

This cottage is a one in a million. If you do not mind driving 20 min to Savannah this is where you should stay. With its two bedrooms, the large shower and the porch and pool we had more than we had expected-a great experience in nature. The host gave us a very warm welcome. Traveling to this area, we would always go back and stay with Patricia.

Pat's home was beautiful, it was located in a very nice neighborhood and was very quite. It was perfect for my friends visiting the Savannah area! It was only about 30 minutes from downtown Savannah, and close to many attractions in the Richmond Hill area. Pat had great communication throughout the stay and was always available for questions. The house was great, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Definitely going to book with her again when my family comes to visit!

We had a fantastic time in the cottage! It's kept up beautifully and has everything you could ask for - comfortable beds, AC, laundry, big bathroom with great shower, well-stocked kitchen, TV with a DVD selection... Pat and Bob were also extremely helpful and welcoming, offering tips on local attractions and restaurants. The location is perfect to explore Savannah and the surrounding area - half an hour to downtown, and an hour to Hilton Head. We picked up some groceries from the nearby Kroger supermarket and did some cooking for ourselves too. Overall, highly recommended!

We really liked Pat and Bob's place. Pat texted us as soon as the cottage was available to check in and met us for a tour as soon as we arrived. Bob came and met us as well. We had a pleasant visit with Pat before we unpacked. The neighborhood is fully built out but was very quiet. We were never disturbed by neighborhood noise. The cottage was very neat and clean with lots of tea, coffee, shampoo, etc. Pat also left us a gift because it was our 42nd anniversary. We would be delighted to go back anytime. I really feel sure Pat and Bob would have done anything in reason to make our stay a good one. Everybody we met in Richmond Hill was very friendly. They are proud of their town and appreciate people who enjoy it as well.

Wonderful 2 bedroom house in Richmond Hill! My wife Sarah and I had a great experience staying here while we waited for our house to be finished. The owners Pat and Bob were extremely courteous and accommodating. The house itself is very nice and fully stocked with everything you would need for an extended stay in Richmond Hill. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen appliances were clean, and the bathroom has a walk-in shower. There is a Publix grocery near by that is brand new and I95 is a short drive away. I am glad we stayed here.

Julie and her family were unbelievably hospitable, especially in our time of need. We evacuated out of Florida for hurricane Irma and they were able to accommodate us right down to letting us check in early in the morning. There are gracious hosts and then there are people like Julie and her family that go above and beyond what is necessary. From bringing us a generator when we lost power to helping us get our truck unstuck in the mud, they are truly what is good in the world. We couldn't thank them enough for doing what they did. We loved the property and the town, it was gorgeous. We hope to return under better circumstances. It was perfect and completely stress free. Highly, highly recommend especially as a quiet retreat for families. I promise you will need for nothing while you stay in the cozy yet spacious vintage home. A++++++++++ Thank you again Julie!

We had a great family holiday and Angel made us feel very welcome. There were a couple of occasions when we needed her help on unforeseen events (power cut) and she went above and beyond to help in every way. The kids loved the pool and it was a good location to explore the area. Would highly recommend Angel's place!

Everything was just perfect. A perfect little private getaway in a quiet neighborhood close to everything. We took advantages of parks, kayaking, hiking, and beautiful river walks. The pool is in a private backyard completely surrounded by tropical plants. We actually spent half our vacation here and half in Savannah. We repeatedly said we should have just stayed the entire time at this magical location.

The 3 BR place is very nice. The pool was a nice addition as well. The living space was good size for all of us. It was clean and Angel did a super job at constant communication. We highly recommend to stay here if in the area. Do note that there are a lot of bugs in Richmond hills this time of year so that will limit your outdoor patio time. The outdoor patio was awesome with a fire place and a table and chairs as well as the pool

This place has a lot going for it: tons of space, a huge outdoor patio, a pool, but there was a little something missing. It wasn't quite as magical as it could've been...whether it was standing water breeding mosquitos or the firepit being overgrown with weeds, there just didn't seem to be that last ten yards covered.

Angel gave us detailed instructions on how to get in the home and was available for any questions we had. The home and backyard are absolutely beautiful and we would definitely stay there again.

The house was as it appeared in the pictures. It is in abeautiful gated community, quiet, scenic and safe. It was spacious with more than enough supplies including beach toys and golf clubs. A great place for families or a group of friends. Host responded to question within a reasonable amount of time. Our family had a good time and I would definitely recommend to others. With a large group you run out of hot water i f everyone wants to shower after a day at the beach or strolling the city eSavannah in the heat. It is short drive to historic Savannah and Tybee Island. We made a good choice with this one.

Amazing experience. This was my first airbnb and it looks like I will go back just because of this.The hosts Bill & Allison were just great people, good communication, excellent location and the environment perfect.

Need to make sure that bathroom lights function, that there is soap in the bathrooms for showering, that there is an iron to go with the ironing board and that all food in the refrigerator is removed prior to the next rental.

They were very friendly and helpful during our stay. Would recommend it too anyone. Great set up as well for families with kids. And very spacious...

This was a cosy home perfect for relaxing and getting away from the fast paced daily life. The home was in a quiet gated community but in a location convenient enough for us to take an uber downtown for some night time fun! The hosts Bill and Allison were very accommodating and flexible for our needs! They also responded quickly to questions and provided great suggestions for places to visit/eat.

This was an awesome place for three golfers playing at the Landings courses. It was clean and very roomy, much more value then getting a hotel rooms. It was a short ride to some great resturants, without the hassle of going into Savannah

We had an amazing weekend stay! The place was very nice and clean, furniture and beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for our group of 7 people and 3 dogs! The area around the neighborhood and gold courses was beautiful. We saw tons of deer, beautiful birds, and even a few alligators. I would recommend this home to anyone! Only took us around 20-25 mins to get to River Street and around 40 mins to get to Tybee Island.
