Stuart was a terrific host, upon arrival informed us all. The cabins are super nice, at the foot of a beautiful lake of the park. Facilities themselves are great, very comfortable beds, well appointed bathroom (with hot water) and everything was extremely clean thanks to Mari! We also hired the next day a tour with Stuart for the different lakes that was great, I highly recommend because you save the people from there you go liando. Be careful what you repay the people there, all they ask for money to pendejo.

Nice, clean cabanas with arguably the best view of all the cabanas in the national park. It makes for slightly uncomfortable sleeping with the factory plastic on all the mattresses but with only 2 of us staying in the cabana we were able to layer the extra blankets to make it a little less crinkly. Be sure to give a heads up for warm water as it takes some time to heat. Estuardo was a great host. He shared the evening (and a half bottle of whiskey) with us and took us for a tour of the lakes and cenotes the next day. His wife made us some fantastic enchiladas! Big plus that they were the only pet friendly cabana we found. Definitely recommended.

Great hosts, although neither one spoke a word of English. Both Mary and Stuart are incredibly sweet and kind. They made our stay enjoyable. They allowed us to use their kitchen as well. The cabanas are really cute and comfortable, and are located on a cliff where you can see the Cinco Lagos below. In the morning, Stuart took us to some caves in the nearby area before we had to head back to San Cristobal. Overall, it was a sweet experience!

Cozy cabins with a superb view of "Five Lakes" within the Park of the Lagunas de Montebello. Ideal for spending time in nature and disconnect from the world. Excellent reception and traditional food by Mary and Stuart.

Our family stayed at Vallescondido for 2 nights in January. The entire experience was fantastic. Our kids (4 and 8) loved the ranch: riding horses, collecting eggs from the chickens, seeing the puppies and the lightning bugs at night. Cesar was a great host, treating us like personal guests to his home, full of great tips, and providing great service. We really felt that we were living there rather than visiting. Rooms were great - very clean, comfortable and modern with good a/c. Food was very good as well. Would highly recommend Vallescondido!

Cabins in the heart of the Lacandon jungle. The hosts are excellent. They have lived in the area for the past 30 years; both the archaeological sites known as countless waterfalls, rivers and sites (and may even help you to visit them in organized groups, kayak, mountain bike ... you ask for). Undoubtedly, an ideal accommodation in the area near Yaxchilan, Bonampak and Palenque area. It is a luxury to have crystalline water fountain on the farm; two palapas for lunch and dinner. Silvestre and William began years ago with a restaurant. Now they have great individual cabins, with new high quality mattresses. No mobile signal but not of Me, and many mosquitoes that are perfectly forgivable (essential repellent). Possibility to leave the same day, from the airport in Villahermosa, visit Palenque and take road to get to dinner at Vallescondido night before it starts (which is recommended). Very good breakfast and best dinners; all take turns cooking. Very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent quality / price ratio. Despite the remoteness of civilization, you have correct wines at competitive prices.

It is the ideal hotel if you plan to go to Yaxchilan, the spotless rooms with details everywhere. Hot water from a watering can made of bamboo was my favorite detail. They have restaurant and did not know, recommend eating there. Spend a river between rooms that you hear at night. Excellent place! Highly recommended!

We were happy! The cabins are very well indeed !, we had to release a! Excellent cleaning. Wille and his family make you feel like part of their family. They are always on the lookout for a good time q. His wife cooks rich. The breakfasts are superb and the food-dinner, delicious! I especially loved the cream of Chaya! All the people working with them is extremely friendly! The place is in the midst of many sights. Well worth getting to Vallescondido!

César and Silvestre (Guillermo's sons) were our hosts. They made us feel at home immediately. The room was beautiful... much more that we expected. And the food... amazing! The full experience was a total delight. We were there as a family with our 2 sons (11 and 9) and it was perfecto! and The location is great to visit Bonanpak & Yaxchilán.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We could not have been made more welcome. Our hosts had everything perfectly set up. The meals were tremendous, even for one of us who is a vegetarian. There was nothing more we could have asked for or expected. We loved the sound of the stream running outside our beautiful room. What a treat this place. Thank you to the family.

Look no further than this perfect listing. The hosts are the most welcoming, attentive and detail oriented that you could ever want. The room is way better than staying at a hotel, it has all the ammenities, and just the best charm. The location is also perfect, it is super close to the bus station, it is a walkable distance to downtown Comitan, and super close to things like a supermarket, pharmacy and public transportation. Seriously, if you are coming to Comitan, look no further and stay here.

I knew Hugo's place was going to be great because everyone else had said so, and it most definitely was. I'm not going to make a list of all the abundant amenities provided because it would be too long, and anyway if you wanted something that wasn't on it Hugo would probably get it for you, as he's seriously concerned that you have everything you want or need. With unanimously five-star reviews he doesn't need much further help, but I will still mention that I suffered a back injury a few days before arriving, and when it wasn't getting better Hugo arranged an appointment with a traumatologist friend of his and then taxied me to the hospital, the x-ray place, and finally back home. Considering that I was in pain and fairly incapacitated, this was a great help indeed and I'm very appreciative of it.

Wow! Even after reading the positive reviews, this stay really surpassed our expectations. It was clear that an enormous amount of thought and care has gone into making this a wonderful experience for guests. The space is very well thought out and arranged with extreme attention to detail to anticipate your every need. The cabana is comfortable and clean and the shower is powerful and hot... a treat in this part of Mexico. Hugo bent over backwards to cater to our every need, including driving us around Comitán which is far above and beyond AirBnB's usual friendly experiences. We felt cared for like family, except better! I went home with a present of avocados from the tree outside the cabana... typical Hugo! He is a knowledgeable guide for the area and his recommendations were spot on. I nominate Hugo as ambassador to Comitán! He's an inspiration, and the epitome of the kind of host that I one day hope to become.

The perfect stay - Many thanks to Hugo for everything. The cabin is very nice, clean and modern. It has everything you need. Hugo is a very friendly and helpful host. Although we arrived late, he picked us up at the station and took us to a local restaurant for dinner Comitan. We gave all the information necessary for the outputs we wanted to do, even we took to the corresponding bus stations. In the end it took our luggage to the station without which we would have missed the bus. They are a host department and highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hugo’s place and Hugo was very friendly and communicated well. Very nice exceptionally clean and well equiped cabana with a beautiful garden and nice balcony. Secure parking in a garage with remote controlled electric garage door. Quiet safe residential location with a nice deck, garden and view. Walking distance to public transport, shopping and restaurants. We hated to leave and would have liked to stay longer. We would definitel return to Hugo’s place the next time we are in Comitan.

Roberto and Minerva are gems. Beaming warmth and positive energy, they will go to their utmost to make sure that your stay is comfortable and safe, and to provide you with excellent local knowledge about what to do, where to go, etc. When you're here you feel like family. Accommodation is basic but very comfortable, and at least when we were here the neighborhood was very peaceful. High recommend to follow Airbnb travelers!

It is a simple, familiar, quiet, the lords are super super friendly. They made space when they already had filled. We went to Comitan from there to the Chiflon, wonderful place. There are many things to do around Comitan and many attractions are nearby.

Comitan is nicer than I expected. And the accommodation was very good. Very friendly. It is centrally located. The very rich breakfast, served well and economical. Very clean room with bathroom included. They use solar heaters. I highly recommend it.

They made us feel welcome and marveling at the wealth of the state and its people with all recommendations had to visit or for future trips. Traveling is nothing more than getting from A to B, but of the people you know, and it is fortunate that we found found. Highly recommended if yours is live and learn.

We loved our stay with Penelope. The beds were very comfortable. There was hot water for a shower. Penelope really made us feel welcome and even gave us a lift to her family's restaurant for breakfast the next day (which I highly recommend). The only thing I would mention about this place is that one wall of the room is glass facing a pretty busy street, so it was a little noisy. There was a restaurant playing loud music until about midnight, so if you're a light sleeper who wants to sleep before then I'd recommend bringing a pair of earplugs. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. This is a great place to stop and get a good night's rest before visiting one of the attractions around Comitan.

Incredibly clean, modern place - they change your towels (and i think sheets!) every day! There was some confusion with the booking but Penelope resolved everything very professionally - she was incredibly polite though was working so we didnt see her much. The family live upstairs but we mainly felt like we had the place to ourselves - very good kitchen and SUPER comfy bed! Quite an echoy place because furnishings are v modern and dont absorb the sound. But really was great and perfect location to catch collectivos to various sites.

We were SUPER comfortable at home. Hugo worried that we were good in all aspects. He offered to buy us things for our arrival had everything ready leaving some food and water. He was always aware and we even walked through the city. Very friendly and respectful. The department had everything. Nothing was missing. Good beds, towels and others. If we return to Chiapas, we will definitely stay there.

The dirtiest hotel met after 1 month in Mexico. Noise all night, no windows to ventilate or vent (35 in rooms !!!) and screw a screw live on the street for everyone to observe the room. We left as soon as possible.

Hospital suites is a very well organized accommodation, I responded very quickly when applying for hosting. It took a little work to get that the address is incomplete in the publication. The room is perfect size, furniture and services. The only thing I did not like is that the bathroom was a little dirty, especially the shower, but I think with a good cleaning would be the perfect place to stay in Comitan. The hostess very friendly! We were greeted upon arrival and took us to the truck stop when we went to Chinkultic and explained things about the city. Very nice and clean except for ants in the part of the shower. The price is low for the services they offer and the furniture looks new. The area is very quiet and safe and is directly opposite the hospital.

Incredible house, perfect place to spend the night! Penélope is the best host you could ever wish for! Would definitely recommend it, if you look for a place in comitan, look no further. This is the place to be! Beds are comfortable, everything is very modern. All wishes come true. Penélope is great, she picked us up from the bus station at 9pm, showed us a nice restaurant really close, the food was delicious and cheap. We stayed a second night even though only one night was planned :-) Fue una experiencia muy amable. Penélope es muy simpático y ayúdanos con todo. Les recomiendo este lugar 100%.
