“This is one of my absolute favorite places in Waikiki for it's location right on the water. Enjoy sweeping panoramic views of Diamond Head and the Pacific Ocean. Unwind with a cocktail on the outdoor patio and watch the surfers while the waves splash up against the rock sea wall just inches from you providing you with a fresh breeze and ocean mist.”

American Restaurant
“Actually not my favorite, but lots of people love it. It is very close to the cottage, offers fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, plate lunches, salads and more. The layout is awful, you have to wait in line to order while people have to squeeze by you to get into the shop to get their drinks and other items before squeezing back past you to get to the back of the line. Still it is like a right of passage on the North Shore and their malsadas are delicious.”

“Buzz Lanikai is a great place to eat after a long day at the beach. It is directly across from Kailua Beach Park. It's a little place, However, the food is quite good and the staff is awesome. You can meet many Kailua and Lanikai locals here. If you like ice cream pies, they are very good. Parking is very limited in their lot, but there is ample parking across the street at the Beach Park. (Don't leave valuables in your car.)”

“If you have a car, or are willing to venture out of Waikiki for a bit. Times Supermarket is an excellent choice that is ALOT cheaper than Waikiki prices. It is worth it to do your shopping here if you are doing an extended stay of a week or more.”
