Depending on traffic, the commute will take about 20 minutes to an hour to get to the heart of NY, Time Square (depending on the time of day). On the ride there, you will be able to appreciate the breathtaking NY skyline from the Jersey side. They say the best views of NYC are from NJ and they couldn't be more right.

  • Very fast response from the hosts! My stay was short but I had a fast commute back into the city.

  • We loved everything about this rental! The communication was always quick and helpful. The space was just as described and very clean. Perfect location to hop on bus or get an Uber to the ferry to go into NYC. He met us in person upon arrival and was extremely helpful with tips on making the most out of our stay.

  • Thank you Paul & Danny for the wonderful stay , Everything was perfect and spotless loved it we will definitely be returning .

  • This was a terrific stay! Very local, everything you need such as: - groceries - laundry mat - restaurants - NYC transports These stores are 2 minutes away from the location. The transport from this place to NYC is very easy to commute! As described by the host on how often public transport runs every 5 min or so and he was kidding.. Checking in was very easy! Instructions and rules are simple to follow once the host has contacted you. Inside the place was very cute and had everything we need to sustain our stay. The kitchen was amazing! Bed & Bathrooms are well put together and clean. Best of all was the Netflix feature on both tv screens! I would highly recommend other Air-BnB’s travellers to have a stay in the location as the neighbourhood is very friendly and nothing beats the amazing view of NYC from North Bergen during your commute. Thanks again and safe travels! Kind Regards, Kimpee & Leemy

This is an amazing apartment in the absolute heart of Manhattan..
The local area is known as Hells Kitchen or Clinton. It is a vibrant area full of boutique stores, restaurants and bars to visit. However if you need the quiet and the greenery of Central Park, then you can walk down the block to enjoy this famous inner-city park.
  • I had a such a wonderful experience at Eden’s apartment. It is in an amazing location, around corner from Central Park, close to the Times Square for theater and cool restaurants, and also close to the majority of subway stations. Such a cool area. The apartment itself is beautiful and very comfortable staying. I already missed my time there. Eden was awesome host and helped us get settled in. He gave me all great tips for getting around the area.

Walk to many NYC’s attractions: Central Park, Times Square, Columbus Circle, Museums and so many more. Jersey City Heights, often simply called The Heights, is a pleasant, somewhat densely packed residential neighborhood in the northern section of Jersey City, which in turn is the second largest city in the state of New Jersey. Homes in the area can be most often found in the two- and three-family detached houses which sit on small lots and which dominate the housing stock here, or in the low-rise apartment buildings that also are a considerable presence in the neighborhood. There are also more than a few stately old Victorian and Edwardian houses scattered throughout the streets of the Heights with rental apartments within, especially on Sherman Place and Summit Avenue. Rental apartments in The Heights are generally considered to be located in the area that's bordered to the south by the Bergen Arches rail tracks and The Divided Highway (also known as the Pulaski Skyway, or Route 139); to the east by Palisade Avenue (and the city of Hoboken); to the north by Patterson Plank Road (and Union City); and to the west by John F. Kennedy Boulevard and Nelson Avenue (and the community of Croxton, and the Meadowlands). Jersey City Heights is named, somewhat obviously, for its elevation atop the Palisades, a 20-mile stretch of steep cliffs on the banks of the Hudson River. Because Jersey City Heights apartments stand at the peak of the hills, many area of the neighborhood enjoy fairly spectacular views down over and out onto Hoboken, and the Hudson, and the New York City Midtown and Upper West Side skyline across the water. Residents of Jersey City Heights have several public transportation options available for commuting to work within Jersey City, or Hoboken, or Manhattan, including the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail (which will get you to PATH stations) and New Jersey Transit buses, which travel as far as New York City's Port Authority in Times Square, or to points throughout NJ. The Light Rail travel through the Heights, however there is an elevator that runs along the side of the Palisades that will take you to the station that runs along the western border of Hoboken and downtown Jersey City. Also in the Heights you'll find the Jersey City Reservoir, with its free kayaking days. There is plenty of shopping options and local restaurants for Jersey City Heights apartment residents, with much of the commercial activity on and around the aptly named Central Avenue
  • These guys are amazing hosts! you feel like staying with your friends and they are always helpful... place is neat and clean as expected, their way of guiding you starts from check-in process and day to day needs, are so thoughtfully designed that you feel very comfortable ! guide lines to roam around nearby places is awesome! one of the best place and great host they are! highly recommend !!

    Sanjay2018-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • For the budget conscious traveler this spot hits the mark. My room was affordable, clean and featured amenities necessary for a remote worker and student like me. Great restaurant (Griot Cafe) and transportation to NYC right across the street.

    Denise2018-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Do not stay if you want to enjoy New York! It would take us 1h at least to go to Times Square taking the bus/train. The room was ok, shared restroom was not a problem, but there was an awful smell I think coming from the A/C, we had to leave the door open a lot of times due to that, it was hard to breath! Juan was nice overall, but charged me $25 fee for being 20 min late for check out! Even though I showed how much I had to pay with the Uber since the bus was taking forever to arrive. That was very disappointing, but I understand that “it’s the rule”. Would not recommend if you are visiting New York, but if staying around New Jersey that would be ok, just make sure not to be late for check out.

    Laura2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place with nice hosts.

    Leandra2019-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first time getting Airbnb, and I was not disappointed at all. Juan& April were very nice and helpful as it was my first time visiting NYC. Though it’s located in Jersey City, it’s actually very convenient as all the bus stations are no more than a block away, and it took me 30-40 to get to NYC. Subway is 10 min away. Schedules are also very convenient. I never waited more than 10 min for a bus or train. Even late at night. In regards to the actual room, it’s super clean and independent. Doesn’t seem like you’re sharing the house. They provided soap, shampoo, clean towels, bathroom was always clean... I truly recommend this place to anyone who is visiting NYC.

    Karen2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Attractive price performance ratio. Good connection to the public transfer to NYC. All in all recommendable.

    Patrick2019-06-05T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place, as expected for the price. Very easy access to transport. Would highly recommend for someone visiting new york, and looking for an affordable alternative to staying in Manhattan.

  • Daniel's apartment was great, the location was the best thing about it. We didn't meet the host but he is quick with communication and check in / check out with the doorman was a breeze. As noted in other reviews the 24hr pharmacy across the road was really convenient (more like a supermarket than a pharmacy!). The apartment is much better value for money than hotels in the area. Bring your own toiletries though as the apartment doesn't supply any (would be good if you could add a bottle of handwash Daniel). All in all a lovely apartment in a great area - about 10-15 mins walk from Times Sq! =)

    Mimi2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The house is very pretty and clean, perfect for two! The location is great because is just a 15-minute walk from Times Square. Daniel is very friendly and helpful! I suggest the apartment for a pleasant stay in NY!

  • Dan's place is stylish, super clean and is in the heart of town. Great location to head out from. The building is safe and it's so so nice to have the terrace even in the winter.

    Victoria2019-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • It was a very nice journey. Beautiful apartment, good location.

    Tatiana2012-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Comfortable apartment in a fabulous location. The apartment is a few block walk to Grand Central terminal, close to subway lines, a quick walk to nice restaurants and wine bars along 2nd Ave. We walked to/from Times Square and the Theatre District and up to Central Park. The photos accurately depict the apartment. It is not huge but was comfortable for two people for the long weekend. The balcony is a nice bonus. The kitchen is small but suited our needs for a short stay. If you're staying longer and like to cook gourmet meals, the kitchen would be a bit tight. Check-in and out was easy. Dan was helpful and quick to reply to any queries.

    George2018-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Such a nice place to stay!! The location is perfect and I always felt safe. It was also a very short walk to grand central. The balcony was a great touch to sit out and watch the sun set/rise. If I come back to NYC I will surely be staying here!

  • The place was super neat, and I had a great time.

    Ikal2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place is clean and close the the bus stop. Overall great value and not to be missed!

  • Emily's place is larger than it appears, it is spaciousand clean and feels very homey. Good location from NYC, easy with an uber and she provides a parking pass if you need it.

    Danielle2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Emily’s place was spotless and in a perfect location! We aren’t too familiar with the city life, especially when it comes to the bus system, but Emily was quick to respond to any question we had! Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a place close to the city to stay here!

    Tess2018-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • I was coming from Ohio into NYC so I’m sure you can understand that I was a bit nervous about the whole thing. Emily made everything easy prior to getting there, answering all my questions and there were many. Anyway the Macy Thanksgiving parade was awesome. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

    David2018-11-22T00:00:00Z
  • An awesome place that was exactly as described. The apt was very clean, looked great and had everything we needed. Extra bed sheets and blankets( beds were very comfortable). Dishes, pots and pans if you want to save some money and cook your own food. The bathroom was stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, bath wash, conditioner, and shampoos. Have some clothes that are wrinkled? Emily had that covered as well, with an iron and ironing board. The apt itself was in a very diverse neighborhood in Jersey city, NJ which is only about 30 min away from NYC by bus. the apt is a very short distance (5 min walk or less) in between two bus lines that go to NYC or you can take a 17-30 min walk to the path train to get into NYC. Both major ride share services cover the area if you don't want to walk or do public transportation. I rented a car during my last 3 days of my stay and parking was tight, (street parking is tight just about every where in the NYC metro area) and It could be difficult to find a space on the block of the actual building you're staying in. I had to park almost 2 blocks away, and I had to drive around a few times before I found that space, so keep that in mind if you're driving. If you don't have to drive I really recommend using public transportation and ride share services to get around, just to avoid the stress of finding parking. Also keep in mind that if you drive and want to drive into NYC, the toll to get into NYC is a ridiculous 15 dollars! Another reason to stick to public transportation. Emily was a great host. she messaged us a few times just to make sure everything was going well, and to see if we needed anything. You could tell she really cared about her guests. This place was a great deal and I got more than my money's worth. I would definitely love to stay here again and I highly recommend it.

    Andre2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • It had plenty of towels and blankets. Emily was great to work with and responded very quickly with any questions that I had even if they were just personal such as what bus or Subway to take. We did most of our time in New York, but we're happy with staying in New Jersey as the place was quiet and very charming. An older home that had everything we needed.

Available to single travelers on a budget. This is 1 of 3 rooms in the apartment. Joe stays in the 3rd room. You can cook, watch cable TV,& come/go as you please. Located super close to the subway in a very safe and vibrant neighborhood. 12min to get to Manhattan, 30min to get 34th street, 35min to get Times Square
Hello! To book this room first check the calendar for availability. Once you've booked the room please include a short detailed message of your check-in/out times and that you've acknowledged the rules of the apartment. Knowing when you're checking in and out helps me prepare for your arrival as well as the next guest's arrival. And of course anything else you feel like sharing can be included :) The space is cleaned daily and all furniture is brand new. Everything you need is steps away. For groceries, the drug store, subway and cab service everything is 1 block away. Towels, linen, soap, shampoo, hairdryer are provided during your stay. Everything is affordable here, and it's really close to the city. Literally a 12minute ride into Manhattan. The M train is very close to the apartment, literally steps away. The L train is a 10 minute walk. Both trains take you to Williamsburg in 5 minutes and Manhattan in 12 minutes. The bedroom available does not have a window however, it is fully equipped with a huge ceiling fan and an extra fan in the room. The apartment also has A/C that blows cool air through the apt during those hot summer days.
10 years ago my neighborhood was the worst place to live in Brooklyn. Now its one of the most desired places to live in for college students, artists, hipsters, and people that once lived in Manhattan. My neighborhood is safe and has developed a pretty interesting culture that most people love to sit back and just watch. Bushwick is full of vintage stores, coffee shops, bars, and art galleries. The vibe here is very laid-back.
  • it was a wonderful experience staying in Christina's place. it is cozy, warm and comfortable. i highly recommeded to stay here.

    Boran2015-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Christina was an excellent host. Apartment was clean, bed was comfortable. Subway to manhattan was very close by.

    Ashley2018-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • Cool location, right by the train and shops! The place was as described. The only issue begin the noise, you can hear every foot step from above!

    Peter2017-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Christina as very welcoming and responsive when I needed to get in touch with her. I don't think the listing was totally accurate. This bedroom has no window, and the apartment has three bedrooms. All of which are rented to other Air BnB guests. However, the location was very convenient for the M line subway to get into Manhattan.

    Kait2016-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • great!

    Red2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • Alex's place was as you see in the pics. It was very tidy and clean. Everything from getting there to getting in and the stay as a whole was very pleasant.

    Daniel2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Accurate description of room and overall facility. Plus, Christina was very responsive and reachable via phone. She provided great instructions for checkin/out. Misha was very informative and answered questions I had about the Bushwick area. Cozy room 10-12 minutes from subway station. Although there were no windows, there is a ceiling fan/standing fan to offer ventilation in the room. I think the room was better without windows because I good get a good night's sleep free of distractions/light in the morning.

  • When I read reviews that complained about a nightclub under the accommodation, I asked Max if I could cancel, with lots of time before my rental date. He said no, that his ‘neighbors’ rarely had parties and usually just weekends. When we got there, we noticed that the building actually said ‘event hall’. We looked into the event space, and it was a warehouse sized floor with a bar in it. Sure enough, our last night there, a Wednesday, there was a dance party until 3:10 am. I wore earplugs but the pillow continued to pulse with the drum beat. Even after, when I told Max this, he insisted it was his ‘neighbors’ - which he must have known was simply not true. Also a misrepresentation, the accommodation is described as Max and Kathy’s home. This place is no one’s home. It is mostly a long hallway with 3 locked rooms aside, and a kitchen that is carelessly and minimally stocked with at times dirty dishes in the sink. Our room was way, way too hot, and when I asked Max if the heat could be turned down, I got no reply. Throughout the night, there was a constant smell of Fabreeze or some other noxious scent. In the room, the curtains came down with the rod, since it was affixed with 5/8 inch screws into studless drywall. Putting it back up (a must to keep out the bright light of the gas station next door) required me standing on a very wobbly, cheap plastic chair. All the furniture was the cheapest Ikea sells. The room was lit with extremely bright overhead pocket lights, and no other lighting was available, so reading or relaxing before bed was not possible. On a positive note, the accommodation was cheap, and the co-renters we met were friendly. The bar down the street was fun, and the close by bagel shop was good. Also, the place was a 5 minute walk from an express subway train. The neighborhood was humble but we always felt safe. None of these last things could be attributed to Max and Kathy, however, who are at best totally indifferent to what ‘stylish’ home’ and ‘event hall’ actually mean, and at worst, totally misrepresented their accommodation.

    Lois2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • I’d stay here again, only 30 mins on Metro Line 6 to central / downtown Manhattan.

    Niall2019-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • The department as such recommend it, super close to the metro and bus stations; However, the entrance has a bad smell and you have to climb stairs, it is about 30 minutes away from everything tourist and to get there I always took the subway, you must be very careful because at night there are always people with bad looks, outside of the location what I recommend.

    Paloma2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • You get what you pay for. I'll suggest to keep to place more clean and maintaine it better. The subway is 2 minutes from the place and takes 20 minutes to get to the city.

    Kristina2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful place to stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. (Surprising comfortable — I slept like a rock!) I’m an introvert, so the simple, independent check in was a really nice process. I definitely plan on staying again!

*Long term only: 31 nights or longer* This outstanding, brand new 1BR in midtown west is just a block from Times Square, Port Authority and Hudson River Park. It's way high up there where you can enjoy the sights without all the noise of midtown Manhattan. It's designed for the traveling professional for a long-term stay in NYC (31 nights or more).
  • This place is fantastic. It actually looks exactly like it does in the photos and the 24 hour concierge as well as the stunning views are the best. Would definitely stay here again.

  • Loooved staying at Andrew’s. The apartment is located in the heart of NYC and looks exactly the same as in the pictures. The size of it is perfect for 2 people. And the view is even more beautiful than in the pictures.. The doormen are extremely nice, professional and welcoming. On Valentine’s day they gave us roses and were always extremely helpful too. We were able to explore a lot of NYC by foot as the location is ideal to do so, but the subway is also just a couple of blocks away and gets you everywhere you wanna go. All the major theatres are nearby too. There are also many supermarkets and great restaurants right next door. We didn’t meet with Andrew, but he was always just a phone call/ text away to help us if we needed anything.

    Juliana2019-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful apartment with amazing view, Andrew is super responsive and helpful, the building is incredible and the location can’t be better, you can walk almost anywhere. I will definitely try to book this place again next time I visit NYC.

  • What an amazing place, views are dramatic, andrew was very responsive and the location is incredible 2 blocks one way your in time square, another way your on the piers!!

  • The room is very beautiful and the scenery is great. The tableware was also complete. Even if I didn't take anything, I had everything in my life. It was the best room ever in airbnb. Thank you very much.

  • Amazing apartment with a real NYC view. Located close to everything in NYC but you feel like a local not a tourist. Apartment is well appointed, communication is excellent with the owner and the door staff are friendly and incredibly helpful. Check in was a breeze. Would certainly recommend and look forward to staying again.

  • Me and my boyfriend where planning our trip to NYC, and when we saw Andrew’s place it completely convinced us to go! It is just as it looks in the pictures, even better. Yo have everything you need, amazing view, plus amazing location, the staff of the building is very kind and are very attentive with you. You have a mini supermarket/restaurant of the building downstairs which offers buffet and also has a great menu! We ate a lot there, plus the atmosphere is great. Amazing! The first day we arrived we had a problem with the tv and Andrew send someone to help us right away. And he was always making sure everything was fine and always very attentive with our concerns. Just an amazing and incredible stay. We enjoy the apt as much as we enjoy walking the NYC streets. We stayed a month so we spend a lot of days in the apt without going out, if it rained or something, and just staying watching a movie, relaxing, was amazing. We where really sad to leave, we felt like home 100%. Thank you Andrew for everything! Just A M A Z I N G. Looking forward to stay there again!

Apartment is located on the first floor. No elevator or stairs! The laundry room is across from the apartment which is very convenient. The apartment has 2 ample bedrooms fully furnished. Brick wall room serves as an office space. The two bedrooms have queen sized beds, a queen size air mattress is also available and can be put in any of the rooms as seen in the pictures. The sofa can also sleep one if needed. Double sink vanity in updated bathroom with a very nice shower and tub. Wi-Fi available. Updated stainless steal appliances in kitchen. The apartment is kept immaculate and is cleaned after every guest. Fresh bedding and towels provided. Steps away from Lincoln Park where they host farmers markets every sunday, there's a running/walking trail, and also a bike lane throughout the park. It is a few minute drive into the city. Street parking available There is also a laptop-ready workspace, a hairdryer, and an iron. There is 24-hour check-in after 3pm on the date of arrival , we can meet and greet you at any time of your arrival.
Minutes away from Downtown Jersey city but far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city. TRANSPORTATION: There are many ways into NYC some are shorter in Time than others and depending on where in NYC your trying to get to. TRAIN: 1) you can order an uber/Lyft to the Journal Square Path Station. It's about a 5-10 ride and will not cost more that $10.00. Once you reach the path station you can take the 33rd Street train or the World Trade Center train. Once your on the train you'll be either uptown or downtown in 15-20 mins. 2) We have had many people walk from the apartment to the Journal Square Path Train station. BUS: 1) When you exit the apartment building, if you go up the hill to the corner then cross the street to the bus stop; there you can get on the 119 bus which takes you to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in heart of TIME SQUARE. Once your on the bus it should take about 25-35 minutes depending on traffic and the time of day. 2) when you leave the apartment and walk down the hill to the corner of the street you can catch the #80 bus that takes you to the Journal Square Path Train station. The bus ride from the corner to the train station is about 15 mins. UBER and Lyft: 1)There are may Ubers and Lyft cars/trucks in the area. If you are going to downtown NYC by Ground Zero it will take you about 15 minutes to get there, if you are going uptown towards Time Square it will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. 2) you can take an Uber to Liberty State Park and see the Statue of Liberty (less than 10 minutes away) and hop into a ferry/boat that will cross you to Manhattan. REMINDER: I write this because it came up with past guest. If you plan your trip around any holidays, travels may take a bit longer. From Thanksgiving to New Years there's literally MILLIONS of people that come from all over the world to visit NYC so traveling may take a bit longer.
  • The place was awesome and would definitely go back if I can. Apartment is everything you see in the pictures and more. Neighborhood is great and has a lot of good places to grab a bite. We got everything we needed and the host always checked in case we needed anything else.

  • Great people with first class accommodations

    Joe2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Rosa and Danny were very welcoming and helped us with everything we had questions about or needed during our stay. The apartment was great - and so much bigger in real life! We had everything we needed, and then some! It was clean and was in a good neighbourhood with only a 15 minute walk to the path station to New York! If we ever visit New York/Jersey again we will definitely be back at Rosa's and Danny's!

    Renate2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. Danny and Rosa were both very attentive and helpful. Close to NYC via ferry, bus or even driving. Good location.

    Nicole2016-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place was easy to find and beautiful. Rosa was flexible and easy to communicate with. We had a great experience!

    Jessica2018-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • My experience in Rosa's apartment was good, but not excellent. First it was difficult to contact her by the AIRBNB chat, there were times she answered 2 or 3 days later, she did not send us a guide or advice on what or how to get around. I think it is obvious that people who rent their apartment are tourists so they have no idea of the zone, transportation route or how to move, I think it would have been nice of them to give us some tips. New york is not 10 min as it says in the description, take the bus or the PATH was easy but it takes more of that time to get to NYC, so I recommend that if you are interested in this apartment measure your times. The heater was on and it made a horrible noise at night, which woke up us on several occasions, as well as the smoke alarms, are very sensitive, and it is annoying since you can not cook anything. The space of the apartment is very good, note that there is only one bathroom, we were 7 people and it was complicated but in general we were accommodated quite well. The cleaning of the apartment, is not professional as it is also shown in the description, we moved a sofa and we saw bacon on the floor, and a lot of dust. Rosa's mother-in-law was very kind to us and she provided pans, since there was only one and very small. I did not meet Rosa in person, but she was not very aware of our stay, I contacted her a few times for house issues like the and where to leave the keys on leaving.

  • Close to transit so that was good, I loved everything ! The only thing that kind of bothered me was planes fly close, so you hear them in the night. But I still enjoyed it.

  • Great place to stay! Like it says it is literally a 30 second walk to the train station and can get anywhere within manhattan, Brooklyn, queens or the Bronx in 30 minutes or less. Times Square is about a 15 minute train ride!

    Joel2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • Samuela is very hospitable. We booked it late but was able host us. The house itself is very clean, smells good when we enter inside, quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is excellent. Restaurants are around the corner, train station is literally next to the apartment which is great for travellers. The apartment maybe next to train station but you can hear anything inside. I will definitely recommend the place.

    Victor2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Would highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the city. Although location is not on Manhattan, the subway is really close and convenient. Considering the cost is the same no matter if it takes you 20 minutes from Sam’s place or if you stayed in a swanky hotel near Central Park it certainly is a steal. Very clean and accommodating. Would stay again.

Mari Elle's place resides on a quiet, safe and nice area. A well-located place only minutes away from New York city, the best city in the world. This is a spacious 2 bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom and living room shared with owner. Supermarket, bars, restaurants shops, stop buses all steps away. NYC is super easy to get to by different buses than run every 5 minutes... and with no cleaning fee, this is a bargain!
My property is located in the most beautiful part of Union City. We have beautiful line of flowers dividing the Central street and all streets are well lighted with beautiful new street lamps. Union City is pretty safe all around and in our area you'll find 3 supermarkets within 3 block distance, lots of Spanish restaurants like La Conga, small drug stores like CVS and other shops that are all open until 11:p.m. We also have 24 hours 7 days convenient stores and Dunking Donuts that is also opened 24 hours a day.
  • Mari's place is a great located apartment in a very strategic area in NJ area. The best option for cost/benefit to visit NY. The public transportation is excellent and you will take just 15-20 min to the Port Authority and from there just walking minutes to take a tourism bus or to the Times Square area. The neighborhood has several options of grocery stores, restaurants at walking distance and the parking on the street was smooth. Mari is a super-host. She provided plenty of recommendations before and during our stay. She even offered us coffee and made us to feel at home. She also provided us an extra heater to make sure we were comfy during the cold weather and gifted me an umbrella on a rainy day while walking to take the bus. She cares a lot about her guests and is doing a great job with her Airbnb place. My husband and I enjoyed it a lot and we were happy to stay there. We recommend Mari's place to anyone looking to visit the NY area and to get a taste of the local culture while saving money and staying just minutes away from downtown NY. Thank you.

    Milena2019-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • I really enjoyed my stay in Mari's place :) for travellers hoping to visit Manhattan, the bus service from Union City to NYC is very convenient! Mari gave very detailed directions on bus routes and other transport guidelines :) Btw, the bed is so comfy!

  • Mari is really warm-hearted. She welcomed us as we got the house and has helped a lot to travel! The room was cozy and even I could use the new sofa with netflix!! Amazing place to go to NY and everyday it looked like it was really my house. Many thanks, Mari :)

  • We loved staying here. Huge room, very clean and equipped with everything you need. Amazing views of New York from the kitchen table while having breakfast and again in the evening.... NY lights & buildings can be seen while having a drink from the apartment!!! The building is beautiful, the stairs are no bother at all. Marielle has Netflix as well. Marielle’s home is spotlessly clean and the perfect location for a New York adventure. We stayed twice as we had a health emergency which Marielle was wonderfully supportive and caring throughout. Marielle is kind, extremely knowledgeable about the local area and has lots of great tips for low cost delicious food all within walking distance. This Airbnb is so handy for getting into New York, the ferry was my favourite for heading into NY.

  • Richard’s place is quite spacious, the beds are standard queen beds and even have enough space for four people in one room. There are two bathrooms in the apartment and they’re shared by guests in four bedrooms, each room has a pin lock, I don’t feel completely safe, but overall it’s a place of good value for one night layover. The owner is very responsive. But, the cleaning of the room can be improved, and the owner need to fix the power outlet in the room, there’s only one that worked.

  • Great location and good value for price.

    Andrey2019-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderfully maintained, and a great place to rest at the end of a long day in the city.

    Judah2019-06-10T00:00:00Z
  • Safe and close to NY life without the huge price tag of a hotel. Bathroom shared with others, but never a problem. Richard answered my messages right away. He always offered us food. Soap, shampoo, conditioner and blow dryer all available in the larger bathroom. The room had a queen size bed with very comfortable memory foam mattress. Richard provided clean towels when we arrived and more towels when requested. We stayed 12 nights and had a great visit to New York.

    Adam2018-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • On the third floor of the condo this place is clean and spacious. Richard responds quickly to any questions and issues during the check-in process and stay. Some outside noise on the other floor of the property was tolerable, but unfortunately, was just too much on the last night of my stay. If you are a young adventurous traveler you might not be bothered, but if you're looking for a quiet getaway this may not be your place.

    Steven2019-03-24T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful room with a good deal, for quick stay. But it is on the 3rd floor and no have elevator. The room is sharing with 5 rooms with 2 bathrooms and a kitchen but was nice for me.

    Muath2019-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great, bright, clean space in a very convenient location that makes it affordable. Easy check-in process. Overall, very happy I chose Richard’s space!

  • Located jhust a few meters from 2 metro lines, this accomodation offered exactly what i wanted as i travelled to new york with my daughter.i wanted to be a little outside the new york centre but with a fast way to be from there to the centre.nearby are some shops and coffe places so you can buy some things to prepare in the kitchen of the flat.i didn't hear the other people living there so i enjoyed with my daughter a relax stay there.sure, there is always traffic outside if you let the window open, but new york is not a village in the nature but a big city never sleeping 😁😁

  • Very clean I love the place I would love to go back again

    Aj2019-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed for the long weekend and it was great! Knew that I’d be out throughout the entire day so I needed a place to spend the nights — this place fit the bill! Room was nice, clean, and spacious enough. The ability to also drop off bags before check in came in really handy and Tylor was very easy to communicate with.

    Toni2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Taylor’s apartment was confortable, clean and well located. The 2 bathrooms are convenient to avoid to queue for a long time. The place is safe (door code for the doors of the building, the appartement and the room) and very close to the 6 train, really convenient to visit Manhattan and of course the Bronx. Of note that there is a room rent for events the level below that might make noise on week end but always stop around midnight at the latest. In conclusion, we really appreciated our stay, the accommodation fits the description and is of great value to visit Manhattan and the Bronx.

  • The place is exactly the same as shown in the photos. The apartment is great and equipped with all the necessary stuff for cleaning and cooking. We didn t need to contact jake in our ten day stay because we had no complaints. The buses that take you to the city have a stop at 30 mts from the apartment. Consider that if you are going or coming from manhattan at rush hours, it won t take you less than 35 minutes to get there. The ticket to go to the city has a price of usd 3 50 for each journey. That means that it will cost you 7 dollars per day going and coming from new york. We truly recommend this place!

    Gonzalo2019-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing stay we had. I was here with my daughter to see NYC. I read great reviews about this place and they were a right. Great location...20 minutes to Times Square by bus which is a 2 minute walk. Excellent amenities. Lots of thoughtful touches. And super clean

    Sachit2019-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Jakes place was pretty good! If you are going to NY and don’t mind a short commute/prefer to stay in a quieter town this is a great option!! The bus stop was super conveniently located and only took about 20 minutes to get to the city. It was pretty roomy and there is a full kitchen — not that we utilized it because there was so much yummy food in the city, plus a delicious pizza place within a 5 minute walk from the apartment! I’m a clean freak so it wasn’t quite up to my standards from that perspective but everything else worked out great! Thanks Jake!

    Elle2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic stay in Jake's place. Its bigger than it appears in the photos. Great patio area. Very clean, comfy bed and all equipment needed to cook meals. The bus into New York takes anywhere between 15 and 30 mins depending on traffic. You can't use the metro card on this and is $3.50 each way, but well worth staying on this side of the river as its quieter and the view of Manhattan skyline at the end of the road is amazing. Check in and access to the apartment is easy. Jake was very prompt in all communication. Highly recommend. Have a fantastic time; we did!

    Sarah2019-10-04T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is completely like in the description. Buses go every few minutes to PABT. The apartment was clean und i got a warm welcome an some cookies. Jake answers fast and there were no complications. Everytime when i'm in the NY area i would book again.

West New York, NJ, United States

One of the best locations for a fun NY trip. The apartment is nice but not a 5 Star Hotel room.
This is most probably the best spot in Soho. You are in the middle of everything: steps from eclectic Chinatown and Nolita with small boutiques and restaurants. At the same time you are in Soho with high end stores and all entertainment you need. The apartment is located on Kenmare Square with the hippest bars and restaurants. There is a small park in front of the building. The apartment has two bedrooms and one bathroom. To get to the bathroom you need to go through one of the bedrooms - please consider this. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen and a nice living room. Wireless Internet, Aircondition (there in one big AC unit in the living room - it will cool down the whole apartment nicely - there is no additional unit in the bedroom) etc.. There is original art from my gallery on the walls. The apartment is in a old building and by no means like a 5 Start Hotel, it is a nice old NY apartment and we do love it. It is lived in and therefore definitely not perfect. The apartment is a walkup - there is no elevator in the building. If you stay at our apartment you will get the best of Downtown NY. Also you are 1/2 block from the green 6 subway on Spring Street. Starbucks is also 1/2 block so fresh coffee is no problem. Very Important: I mentioned this before in the description. This is not a newly renovated apartment. It is by no means perfect. Please do not expect a Hotel experience. This is a private apartment with all it downs and ups. If you want a perfect place this is not for you. I do want to manage expectations. I say that because I had lately 2 guests who were not happy with the condition of the apartment. Personally I don't think their criticism was fair since I very clearly describe the apartment - however if you come to NY I want you to have a great experience in our apartment and not to be frustrated. Of course I change frequently things which needed changing (new pillows, new chairs, new coffee pot etc.) but I can not transfer it to a new apartment with all new furniture.
Soho is probably one of the best shopping areas in the world with a beautiful and authentic architecture. At the same time you are steps from more eclectic neighborhoods like Lower Eats Side and China Town. From the location you can basically walk anywhere in Downtown.
  • Great location and the pictures are exactly as the apartment looked like. We really loved it and we had a great time. Arne left a very good address book that help us a lot. We will loved to come back again with our two kids. Thanks a lot....

    Huguette2013-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is beautiful. Fabulous location, very homey with everything you need & more provided. Arne was flexible for us with check in times & we loved every minute of our stay. Would definitely recommend!

    Cassandra2016-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Arne was very easy and very accommodating throughout they entire process. The location of the apartment was the BEST! The best restaurants, bars, subway, etc were all very close. The beds were also very comfortable and we did not find the noise a problem at all.

    Suzanne2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Arne was great with communication, although he had traveled overseas, stayed in good contact. My reservation was last minute, and he was able to accommodate my needs. I was running a little late, due to traffic coming into the city and he had someone hold the key for me. The place is right in SoHo and is perfect for your time in the city. The floors could use a little work, but outside of that, the place is decent and I would stay again, thank you for having me Arne.

    Edem2014-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • This place is perfect. Nice size place in the heart of everything. Walk to SOHO, Little Italy, Chinatown in 2 minutes. You can catch a cab directly in front of the place 24 hours a day. Arne was a great host, would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Eric2013-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great apartment in the middle of Soho. I chose it because it has two separate bedrooms and both were very comfortable. There's a little bit of street noise but you should expect that in the middle of NYC. We stayed Friday and Saturday and there was not much noise after midnight. I hope to stay there again next time I'm in the city.

    John2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Our one-week stay in NYC was amazing! The apartment was clean and nice, and the location was perfect if you like good food, drinks and shopping nearby. Arne was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. The two bedrooms were big and had a lot of space, which was ideal for us as two couples on vacation. Would definitely recommend Arne and his place.

    Anne Marte2015-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience. The apartment was perfect for 2 adults and exactly as described. Check in was a breeze - the cleaning lady Marta let us in, about 2 hours early as well. Other guests are right, the apartment is on a busy street so there is some expected road noise, but we didn't find it a problem at all, others might though. The apartment is in a fantastic location with plenty of shops, bars and food places within easy walking distance. There is a subway stop just around the corner. The apartment had everything we needed to be comfortable (lots of extra clean towels, bed linen, basic but adequate kitchen equipment worth a big fridge, oven and sink) and was exceptionally clean. Arne was easy to contact for advice or to arrange things and was quick to reply. Would definitely consider for a return trip to NYC. Thanks!

This is an extremely spacious apartment for New York. You'll find the bedroom to be more than enough space for any size group. (Sleeps up to 7)
The Cloisters, Fort Tryon Park, and Inwood Hill park are three of my favorite places in the entire city! Not to mention the best food! Try: Cachapas y Mas, Capitol Diner, Yummy Thai, Seawalk, Beans and Vines, The Park View, Inwood Bar and Grill, Tryon Public House.
  • Jeff is a wonderful host, I would recommend staying at his by all means! probably more suitable for young people who like hanging around with Americans, Jeff is keen on talking to you very often which was very nice!:) He made us feel like at home. And the neighbourhood was pretty chill, we felt safe.

    Denisa2016-06-01T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was really nice, the room really big! It was great to have a bed for each of us. We just regret the fact that the place was a bit dark, but we left early in the morning and got back late at night so we didn't "suffer" too much from the lack of light. If we come back to NYC, we'd love to go back to Jeff's!

    Fanny2017-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Going to New York as a tourist, I was a bit concerned about my living situation. However, thanks to AirBNB, my stay was actually one of the more pleasant parts of my trip. The place was comfortable, homey, and welcoming. Our host was even more amazing!! Jeff is the absolute best! He is so accommodating and helpful. Because of him and the way he made sure I was comfortable, my trip was a success. Thank you Jeff!!

  • Jeff and Alex were the most incredible hosts! They were kind and helpful with anything we needed, offered great local suggestions around town, and were the best conversationalists! The room was perfect, clean, spacious, and entertaining. They were even kind enough to let us cook in their kitchen. They made our week 10x better than it would have been otherwise. Bonus: they use all natural products, so no hard or smelly chemicals anywhere in the house!

    Madison2018-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Jeff is a really friendly and helpful host. His apartment is fantastic and in a really good location, really close to a subway with easy access to the city. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable night's sleep at a good price!

    Stuart2018-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We were late for check-in for 2,5 hours but that wasn't a problem, Alex waited for us, showed us around and introduced us to their cat April, another one of nice roomates! Jeff has some cool bikes, we explored much more of New York because of them, and also got some positive comments on them from some random people on the street. The day we were leaving Jeff played his guitar and sing for us, I'd say that's the part of experience you don't want to miss! All in all, really positive vibe!

  • When I come back to New York I’ll definitely be coming back here again. Robert is a great host, everything was spot on perfect, from the reception to the cleanliness and the enjoyment of my stay. It felt like I was at home which was suddenly in the middle of NewYork, definitely one of the best Airbnb’s in NYC.

    Zayd2017-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Robert was amazing. His place was perfectly located and his cat was such a sweetheart. Please note you will get your daily exercise walking up the 4 flights of stairs but it is well worth it! Robert provided me with so many useful tips to navigating the city and was always quick to respond to any questions.

    Stephanie2018-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn’t have wished for a better host than Robert! Nice apartment in one of the coolest neighborhoods in NYC. Lovely cat :) Would come back any time! Good jobert, Robert 😄

  • Robert is a very kind person. During my stay in New York he offers me different advices about what to visit in the city, how to move with public transport and were to go for a drink & eat. Moreover, since the days spent in NY were so cold, he borrowed me scarf and gloves to survive the weather.

    Lorenzo2017-11-12T00:00:00Z
  • Robert was an absolute gem and I'm so happy I got to stay with him in his beautiful place. From before I even arrived, Rob made sure to check in with me to make sure I reached him okay. The place was sparkling clean and absolutely gorgeous, as well as being in a great spot (plenty of corner markets, cafes, and places to eat immediately nearby). Such a great stay with ample amenities and an amazing airbnb host who really went above and beyond the expected amount of hospitality, and I will definitely try to stay here again in the future!

    Stacey2019-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is comfortable and cozy and located in a great NYC neighborhood. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Bob is a terrific host!

    Dory2017-11-25T00:00:00Z
  • What a great host. Robert is super personable, authentic and kind during every interaction which was usually multiple times daily. The apartment is in a neighborhood location close to the subway, excellent dining and neighborhood hangouts. Robert provided tips that rounded out our trip with a local flavor. His pets are well mannered. The bed was super cozy and his place provided a place to rest after a long day before heading back out as well as sleeping at night. Earplugs recommended for city life. Walkable destinations we particularly enjoyed and recommend include Lavagna’s (delicious Italian and great hospitality), Smalls for world-class jazz and Russ & Daughters for amazing bagels and lox worth the hour wait. Thank you, Robert, for your welcoming and spirited self! We weren’t ready to leave and we’ll be back.

Thoughtfully designed modern luxury two-storey condo situated mere steps from the subway. Features a private balcony w/ skyline view, tons of privacy, a large & modern bedroom & private bathroom. Truly a very large apartment for NYC standards. Situated in Williamsburg, one of NYC's best & most desirable & fun neighborhoods. Plus, lots of fun perks: Japanese bidet toilet, tons of natural light but remote-control blinds when you want darkness, central A/C and heat, and an actual pinball machine!
(Pssst... Quick favor if you're thinking about booking: Please message me first to confirm, and also please read the entire listing as it likely answers any questions you may have. Thanks!) -- Hi, I'm Seth. I'm here to make sure you have the best stay in New York possible. Looking to make this trip special? Let me know and I can help you get the most out of the hidden NYC that most tourists don't see. My place is situated in Williamsburg (undoubtedly the city's most fun and one of its most desirable neighborhoods) and is conveniently located just steps to the L line of the subway (it seriously couldn't be closer). It's a two-story duplex, with tons of space and privacy. I stay upstairs in what is basically a separate apartment, ensuring tons of privacy. It really is huge by NYC standards and, as my reviews say, it is actually even bigger than the pictures seem to suggest. The place includes: -Your own bathroom, complete with a Japanese bidet toilet and rainfall shower. -A spacious bedroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a private balcony with a view of Manhattan. -Remote-controlled automatic blinds that ensure darkness while you sleep on a super-comfy queen-sized Casper mattress. -A Netflix-equipped plasma TV in your room. -More privacy than any other "Private room" listing on this whole site (it's on a completely separate floor from where I sleep so I can totally stay out of your hair) -A pinball machine! -Super-fast Wi-Fi Internet OTHER FUN AMENITIES! -Free laundry: with my washer/dryer (note: only if you are staying more than six nights... And as the machines are in my bedroom, this usually involves dropping it off & me delivering it back the next day) -Multiple outdoor terraces/balconies, including one that is a part of the room for rent (with an incredible view of Manhattan). -Deep Jacuzzi-style tub and rain shower. -Ridiculous amounts of natural light throughout. -Apartment is furnished throughout with designer and custom-made furniture. -Lots of original art throughout, most of which comes from myself and local artist friends. -Towels and linens are definitely included (just because some people ask) -My home is a unique apartment that has been used in numerous photo and film shoots, and has been featured on numerous Web sites and television programs. It makes me happy to share it, and I hope you can enjoy it. The place is less than one block from the L train (you don't even need to cross the street to get to it) and takes about 7 minutes to zoom you to the East Village and 10 minutes to Union Square. It is also a short walk to the countless bars, restaurants, grocery stores, etc... that make up Williamsburg (it's the youngest and most fun 'hood in the city!). This is a diverse neighborhood that still has some graffiti and grit. It is very safe, but if you're looking for a sanitized touristy area, it may not be for you. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PLACE: Q: Is it near the subway? A: You won't find a home closer to the subway—literally around the corner. You don't even need to cross the street to get to it. Q: Do you have an elevator? A: No. This is what we call a New York gym and I promise it's not a big deal. Still, guests must be able to handle stairs and carry their luggage up. If you can't, this is not the place for you. Q: Is the neighborhood safe? A: Very much so. As is the subway, 24 hours a day. Q: Do I need to bring towels, a hair dryer, or linens? A: Nope! I provide all these things. Q: When can I check in or check out? A: I will try to accommodate your desired check-in or check-out, no matter what time it is. Note that early check ins are not always possible if I have a guest leaving that morning, as I need time to have the room professionally cleaned for you. However, I can usually allow you to drop off luggage, and the room will usually be ready by 4pm at the very latest. If you have a late flight, you are welcome to leave your luggage until at least the late afternoon. Late check-ins, even ones at 2am, are no problem at all (I promise you won't be bothering me). Q: Will I have a key? Can I come and go as I please? A: Yes and yes. And I wouldn't trust any Airbnb listing with which this isn't the case. Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests? A: Yes, and I take pride in providing a clean home for guests. Q: I see I'm renting a "Private Room". How much privacy do I have? A: A huge amount. I sleep on a separate floor with a separate bathroom and living area. You won't keep me awake, nor will you ever need to tip-toe around late at night Q: Can my friend sleep on the sofa? A: I have a two-guest-per-booking maximum, and do not allow guests to sleep in the living room. In other words: If you aren't comfortable sharing a bed with your traveling partner, this place probably isn't for you. Q: Do I have a private bathroom? A: 99% yes. The large bathroom adjacent to your bedroom is yours to take over/leave your stuff in/etc. However, as it is the only bathroom on the first floor, I sometimes use it. But it's basically yours, and will feel like a private bathroom. Q: What's my total booking price? A: I honestly have no idea. With fees included, Airbnb only shows the guest how much they pay. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, and you just enter specific dates and the proper guest total to see your price. Q: The pictures look pretty cool. Is that how the place really looks? A: Yes. In fact, the space is actually quite a bit larger than can be seen in the photos. It is a very large apartment by New York standards, and there is plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Q: Is the bed comfortable? A: Very. It's a Casper mattress and some guests say it's the best they've ever slept on! - One last thing: I really, really appreciate that you followed directions and read the whole thing. PLEASE PUT THE PHRASE: "Bonus points are fun!" AT THE TOP OF YOUR MESSAGE so I know you did so as such bookings tend to go so much smoother! And thanks for hanging in there! Thanks! Seth.
Williamsburg has become world-famous for its fun, bars, restaurants, music venues, and general (once-)bohemian atmosphere. It still has a bit of graffiti and grit and is full of vibrant ethnic enclaves but is very safe and you simply won't find a younger, funner place in NYC. The apartment is steps to great restaurants (probably the best in the city), bars (definitely the best in the city), cafes, and anything else you could want. Within a few minutes' walk you'll find: a huge arcade bar, a whiskey-slash-grilled-cheese bar, the most famous steakhouse in the country, dirt-cheap dives, incredible speakeasy cocktail bars, and the best pizza place in NYC.
  • Seth was all I hoped for as a host. Accommodating, kind, helpful with any questions my friend and I would have, also made great suggestions about where to go and things to do. The room was a decent size and the bed was really comfortable. His place is extremely well located, literally around the corner to the L line and minutes away from Manhattan. Seth gave my friend a tour of Brooklyn when she first arrived and I felt extremely lucky to get invited to some amazing social events. Feel like I've made a great friend. I would highly recommend Seth and his place.

  • We stayed 5 nights at Seth's place end April... it was a great stay. Seth and his girl friend are very friendly and discrete people. We were always outside and didn't see them much. We shared their bathroom and kitchen. Our bedroom was close to the entry door, so we something felt like being in a hotel. We took our breakfast close to the apartment, a place advised by Seth, it was also quite cool. I would definitely recommend Seth's place to people who wants to visit New-York! Seth's place is 15 min from Manhattan's center. I would myself go back there.

  • We stayed a week at Seth's place and had a great time. Very convenient location right next to subway, the room was very comfy with a very comfortable bed. Nice area as well with hip places to discover - Seth will always know where you should go or what to check out. Would stay there again and can highly recommend it for a NY visit.

  • We had such a fantastic stay here with Seth and his gorgeous girlfriend. Right from the start, he made our stay awesome - there was a personalised guide around the neighbourhood, tips for things to do and everything ready to go for us. He also made us feel really welcome in his place - eager to have a chat when we got home about what we were doing, what he was up to and any other topic that came up - many times over a freshly made cocktail he would whip up for us. I loved that Seth seemed so keen to genuinely hang out with the people that stay with him, other than just giving them a bed - it really made all the difference to our stay, we didn't feel awkward hanging around their place at all. I couldn't say enough about them - i would definitely count them both as friends by the end of our stay. Thanks guys

    Hannah2012-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous place! The host was so accommodating! Wish we had more time to hang out!

    Ross2014-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Seth's room was great! Williamsburg was very quite and safety place, and easy to get to Manhattan by subway. Seth was so careful and kind person as many reviews said. Bed was very comfortable, and Starwars chair was awesome! I like it! I recommend his room absolutely. It's better choice than any hotel in Manhattan. His room is clean and cozy, has beautiful view! Don't worry his room is located in Brooklyn. New York has many subway lines, so we can go anywhere quickly.

    Talysa2014-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Seth’s place is such a super find! It is a stunning penthouse apartment right in the middle of Williamsburg. So close to the L subway station, we could get in to Manhattan and back without a hitch! Seth is a great host. Very easy to talk to and very responsive to questions. The room is kept so clean and it’s nice and quiet when you are in the room. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

    Jason2017-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • "+" = good location (during night seemed also safe), close to train, very open, nice, welcoming and helpful hosts, smart phone (with maps :) ); "-" = no elevator (carrying bags to 4th floor wasn't easy), no separate bathroom which made us feel uncomfortable sometimes. The apartment looks different than in pictures as they have redecorated. Overall experience very good! Thanks Seth!

  • What a perfect place to stay for a trip to the City. No need to deal with the hustle and bustle of NYC . The best views and less traffic right across the Hudson! This gorgeous place has everything you need for a weekend or long term stay. Paul &Danny were more than accommodating always answering my many questions with a speedy reply and even giving advice on the best ways to get to the city ! Overall 10 out of 10 for this place. So satisfied!

  • Amazing place! Paul and Danny were great hosts. They're super responsive, gave amazing directions and local tips. We stayed here for a visit to NYC and the bus transportation was super easy to get to the city and back. Great if you don't mind traveling a little. We drove here and we loved that there was free parking right next to the building. The neighborhood is cute and has some nice shops around the corner if you need anything real quick. I'd definitely recommend this place!

  • Paul & Danny's place was DEFINITELY a "rare find"

  • At the eleventh hour when I needed a place to stay, they made proper arrangements. Very nice people. Beautiful stylish clean place. And free parking!

  • Amazing stay! We stayed here for 4 days and from start to finish, Danny and Paul were great hosts. They gave us a lot of info on traveling around the area and lots of other helpful info. The area is nice and there’s many grocery and food options within blocks. The condo itself is very clean and modern. Anything you need to cook, make coffee, etc is already there! Couldn’t be happier with the stay, and will definitely stay again!

    Austin2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Paul & Danny were amazing hosts. Very quick responses, very informative about the place and gives you directions on how to get in and out of the city. Everything in the apartment was clean and the decor was very modern. The parking option they offer came in handy as well. Definitely going to see if this is open again for the next time I find myself in New York!

Definitely not a small village but a welcome respite from the mad rush of the city center.
  • The accommodation is located in lively Harlem in a quiet and safe street. The nearest metro station is not far away and can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes. A walk to the northern end of Central Park is also no problem and only takes about 20 minutes. The house is very quiet. We were there for a week and didn't meet anybody in the stairwell. The apartment itself is very spacious for 2-3 persons and has high rooms. The equipment with a cupboard full with bath towels and bedlinen is very good. In the bedroom there are two walk-in wardrobes which offer a lot of space. The apartment was also very clean and the communication with Simon went without a hitch - he always answered very quickly. We felt very comfortable from the beginning and would return to this apartment at any time!

    Sandro2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fabulous stay with my friend at Simons place. Extremely clean and very spacious. The location worked out well for us as it was quiet for sleeping/resting. (Downtown is very noisy with heavy traffic and very busy with people) so Simons place was perfect as it is a residential area. The subway is right around the corner near the Starbucks. We were 2 stops from Central Park and 4 stops to Times Square. Took us a while to get used to the subway but it is a very convenient and cheap way to get around! We had a lovely stay and slept very well!! Stayed in one night and had food and a glass of wine in the lounge of the apartment. Was perfect. Thanks to Simon, a great host and we will be back!

    Sarah2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • I was very happy with the apartment. It was everything as described & much more. The notes about the subways & markets near the apartment were so detailed and extremely helpful! I was thoroughly impressed with space & cleanliness of the apartment. It definitely made you feel right at home. I highly recommend Simon’s place for your next trip to NYC.

  • Where do I start?! My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at Simon's place. We did not meet Simon in person but the communication and instructions were on point! Everything was organized and the place is absolutely awesome. Based on previous reviews and pictures we anticipated a great place but it was even better in person. Very clean, very spacious, comfy bed, nice TV mounted, etc etc. You cant go wrong with this host. BOOK right away with no hesitation :) Thank me later.

  • The apartment was in East Harlem, a neighborhood that is vibrant, beautiful old Manhattan. It was a treat to stay there and stroll Lenox Ave Broadway and nearby streets, take the buses and a choice of subways. The apartment is in a classic New York brownstone beautifully maintained. It’s a quiet apartment with a view of green, leafy backyards. Simon was an excellent host. Though we didn’t need him during our stay, he was responsive as we reviewed procedures to get in the unit; afterward, we forgot to return keys and was helpful and understanding as we arranged to get them back to him. Overall, a top Airbnb experience

    Cynthia2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the apartment and all it had to offer. The location is convenient to the subway which we used everyday to get around Manhattan. The shops, banks and a variety of eateries are also close at hand which we appreciated after many long days exploring downtown Manhattan. Though we had to go further afield to find really good coffee! Starbucks just didn't come up to scratch. Despite the number of panhandlers, it is a safe and interesting area which we (Australians) found fascinating and the people in the street very helpful & friendly when we needed help in finding things/shops etc. Highly recommend staying here especially if you want a more local experience.

    Michael2018-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean. Simple and to the point.

    Derrick2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't recommend enough! Simon was a diamond from day 1, quick to respond to any questions and was keen to help with any ideas on what to get up to. His apartment was squeak clean and had plenty of fresh towels etc. A 2 minute walk to the subway and 5 stops you're in times square and the heart of the hustle and bustle so the location was perfect. The only thing to bear in mind is that you are in the outskirts of the city so it has a much different atmosphere but we felt perfectly safe at all times. New York was incredible and going with Simon allowed us the freedom to explore and know we had a great space to relax in once our feet gave out!! 5 stars!

  • The location was just perfect, great cafes, restaurants, easy access to just about everything, check in was easy and the host was extremely responsive to our questions-she allowed us to check in early and we checked out an hour later, so that was much appreciated. The beds were very comfortable and it was spacious enough for 4. It was not as light filled as the pictures show and could do with a deep clean. Overall a great choice.

  • We had an absolutely terrific time in NY and mainly thanks to Deborah and her great apartment. In our initial contact Deborah was very prompt in replying to our enquiries and very helpful. The apartment was brilliant; it had all the mod-cons you would need, was well designed, extremely spacious and the location was excellent. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit NY and stay in Manhattan and we would certainly stay again ourselves.

    Joanne2016-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our host allowed us to drop by earlier than usual to drop off luggage and get a key. She shared good information about the apt and the neighborhood , and was prompt when responding to questions during our stay.

  • Apartment situated in Manhattan, East village, well connected to public transport and easy to get from JFK. Artistic atmosphere, everything you need is there - kitchen with all kind appliances, fast internet.

    Petar2017-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • Deborah was very flexible on check in and check out times as well as patient with us in the process. The apartment was easily accessible for those with mobility issues as it's on the first floor and has a private entrance. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 sofas for sleeping so there was plenty of room for the 4 of us - we could have easily added a couple more people and still have had enough room. From the living room we could hear people/noises; however, in the bedrooms everything was very quiet. It was nice to have access to a fully furnished kitchen.

    Kara2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! Spacious, quiet, convenient! The outside garden space is icing on the cake. Would definitely stay again.

  • Great accommodation and location along with easy access to the city. Will recommend.

  • Juan is a very nice person, helpfull and friendly. It was cool to have a sweet home after the all days discovering NY manhattan. More quiet and closer to the common american people also than in manhattan. Good and cheap restaurants, marts, laundries near by. Thank you again for all your advices, Juan.

    Christine2016-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Juan was extremely helpful and very accommodating. I had difficulties with the key once I arrived and he did all the necessary steps in order to make sure I was able to enter the apartment safely. we last minute needed parking access and he provided that no problem. His instructions were very helpful especially when it came to navigation around Jersey and NYC

    Lauren2016-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • The room was very comfortable and contained all the basic necessities! Hosts were very helpful and responsive! It is also quite close to public transportation.

    Tobie2018-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • The home was clean and spacious. There's a laundromat and good restaurants within close walking distance.

    Donald2019-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • Juan was one of the most hospitable hosts I've had. He checked in each day we were there to make sure that everything was going well. He also always responded promptly. I can't say enough good things about Juan. The apartment is just as pictured. It was very clean, everything worked, and we felt very safe in the building and neighborhood. We really enjoyed our stay at Juan's. The ONLY thing that I would say that doesn't match the description is that it is quite far away from Manhattan. It is not too difficult, but it was much longer than we anticipated.

    Claire2015-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Please read the instructions first and you will be fine. Your car is pretty safe in the parking space. It's not that big but it has everything you need, it's enough for travellers like me.

    Ryan Jim2018-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very good time in NJ/NYC - and our stay at Juan and April's was good. They are very prepared for their tenants and very accessible for help. The listing includes a blow dryer, washer, and dryer, but we did not have those during the stay. A closer look at the house manual revealed that the washer/dryer have access stipulations, which was not well communicated - but a desirable feature of our booking decision. As far as the apt. itself, it was very nice and spacious - meeting all expectations. However, our last two days were very cold, and no adjustment to the thermostat helped that situation. Luckily, we were not in the apt. that much at that point. There was also only bedding/linens for the beds and not the futon that also serves as a sleep spot, but I am sure Juan would have gotten those for us if we had asked. The beds were not super comfy, but our exhaustive days in NYC overlooked this. This was our first Air BNB booking, and I have learned to read house rules and manuals more carefully - and ask more questions about the actual access of amenities listed.

  • Very good communication and easy check in. Everything incredibly clean. Nice kitchen. Gracious in allowing for storing luggage prior to check in & after check out. Strong WiFi. While several others staying here, it was nice and quiet. 4 stars vs 5 for the bathroom situation. All rooms were booked, so a lot of us using only 2 bathrooms. With folks showering in the morning, it was a bit of a wait to use it for anything. When we finally were able to get into one, all the toilet paper was out.

  • Very comfortable and orderly space! Feels just like a hostel. The area around the apartment did not feel the safest to me when I came in at night, so I would recommend other visitors to exercise caution when getting to the property - especially at night! But the smoothie place right next door to the property is phenomenal - highly recommend! For the price and the proximity to the city, I would still say this is a good spot. The space is accommodating and the hosts are very informative/helpful.

  • The place was very clean and has nice amenities. The apartment had a weird smell, which was uncomfortable for us, so we decided to cancel. The host was nice enough to give us a partial refund.

  • Dave was a fantastic host. I rented the space for my parents to visit over the Thanksgiving holiday. The apartment was spotless and my parents had an amazing time. Dave allowed me to take a look at the place before their visit to make sure it would be a good fit for them. He welcomed them with a bottle of wine and checked in during their stay via the airbnb messaging system to make sure there wasn't anything that they needed. The place itself is beautiful and has fantastic views of the city. It is in a great location with the LES, Chinatown, Little Italy all within walking distance and multiple subway stops to get wherever you need to go in the city. My parents did not want to leave and even mentioned trying to get the same place on future visits. Thank you, Dave, for being a great host!

  • Dave was wonderful in coordinating our arrival and left a nice bottle of wine on the counter for us along with 2 nutrition bars. Everything was clean, fresh and the space wonderful. This place is where I want to stay everytime I return. I am reluctant to say how wonderful we found it to be, as I don't want to find it constantly unavailable in the future! There was new everything here. From the Washer and Drier, to the stove and fridge, the appliances are top notch and a real perk. The espresso/coffee maker made yummy fresh ground coffee with each cup. The bathroom has a beautiful tub with a shower. Modern sink. Window light. Another nice window in the kitchen. I mean, the windows and the fact that this is a corner unit, makes this space feel fresh and open and inviting. The balcony has the most amazing view of the stretch of North to South of the island, all made more spacious in feel, by having the green trees of Roosevelt park right in front. The automatic blinds helped to control glare and heat and the blackout one in the bedroom ensured that a light sensitive sleeper like me could get a full night's rest. Queen bed: comfy. Son used the Couch in LR, but did not pull out the trundle and he said it was a very good sleep. Sound system: great. TV: Great. Whole Foods, very close, and of course hundreds of restaurants and shops. I remember when this was a neighborhood you didn't hang out in. Now, it's like a good friendly and diverse neighborhood. Thanks Dave. I'll be back. Parlee

  • David was a great communicator, touching base prior to and during my visit. He left a lovely bottle of wine and snacks for us which we appreciated after a long travel day. The apartment is modern, clean, well furnished and spectacularly located with truly magnificent views over the adjacent park and city lights. Located in a sunny corner of the building, the apartment is spacious and well appointed, very comfortable to lounge and relax in.

  • stayed here with my boyfriend for an extended weekend getaway, and this apartment and neighborhood couldn't be any more perfect! the place appeared just as it was described on the listing, everything was new, clean and well-equipped. essentials were easy to locate, too. the apartment sits at the corner of several neighborhoods so there is truly no shortage of things to do, eat, explore. subway stops are nearby so even if you're heading deeper into the city, it's super easy to get around. dave was a phenomenal host. he proactively reached out prior to the reservation to ensure we had all the info needed before check-in. he was very thorough and helpful, and though we pretty much had everything we needed throughout the stay, he was easily reachable. thanks for everything, dave! my boyfriend and I would most definitely consider staying here again next time around!

  • Really enjoyed the stay! The room had everything we needed (and more: sitting on the balcony at night, relaxing after exciting days was very nice); the location of the place is great - walking distance to a lot of cool places to eat and drink, train station less than 5 minutes away; also, communication with Alessandra was very easy and she was always very helpful. Can only recommend it!

    Sarah2018-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here for 5 nights. The room is small but very clean. I loved that it was a private room and the balcony was a great addition. Alessandra always responds quickly if you need anything. I wanted to sleep with the windows and sliding door open but it can be noisy outside so I ended up shutting them and using the AC unit. The AC unit works great and is very quiet. I would definitely stay here again. One more thing, you do have to walk up 4 flights of stairs so that was difficult with my suitcase.

    Jennifer2017-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alessandra was very nice and responded quickly when we told her that the internet was down. However, the internet went out at least three more times in our short stay even after we unplugged the router.

We are excited to share our home with you. This is a brand new light-filled, spacious, 3 bedroom condominium in the heart of Bedford Stuyvesant. Your room is a good size, with hardwood floors with large closet and private balcony. Your personal bathroom is next to your bedroom. Your room is situated at the rear of the condo so it’s quiet with a view over the rooftops. Burley Coffee, Brooklyn Blend and Bravo supermarket are a minute walk away.
A bus stop is conveniently situated right out the front door to take you to Downtown Brooklyn in 20 minutes (shops and places to eat like Century 21, Gap, H&M, Models Sports, Dekalb Market, Shake Shack). Also Alamo Drafthouse Cinema with all the latest movies and the BAM Theatre, dance, music, opera and film complex. The condo is situated an easy 10 minute walk to either the J+M train (20 minutes to Manhattan) or the G Train. Citi bikes have a station just around the corner. And if you’re into running it’s a lovely run to Forte Greene park but make sure you don’t stop off at Dough who sell the best donuts in NYC on the way back. It is a three stair walk up to your bedroom but the payoff is our large rooftop with views of the city. We also have a very cute tabby cat called Kitty.
  • Annette and Michael is the most hospitable and welcoming hosts you can imagine. Their apartment is so nice, and is sited in a quiet, trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn. If you're going to NYC, this is the place to stay! They have my highest recommendation!

    Andreas2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Annette’s home is really wonderful, as is her family. She made our stay perfect. We found everybody in the home extremely welcoming and we found it such a shame we were only staying for 3 nights and couldn’t get to know them more (we had a lot we wanted to pack in, so out early and home late). The room is beautiful and very clean, the house very cool and in a great area of Brooklyn. Much better than a hotel/ other Air BnBs either of us have stayed in. Would definitely recommend! Ps, they also have the cutest cat called Kitty 🐱

    Harrison2019-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Annette and her husband were very welcoming and were exceedingly generous hosts, making sure to inform and help out in any way that they could during my stay in NY! Everything was great.

  • Annette and her husband, son, and cat are super hosts! Everything about the stay experienced was perfect! Great location for convenience great neighborhood with walking distance food and flare! We plan to return! Home and room is beautiful you feel welcomed and safe super clean! Loved it all with a great family!

    Katrina2019-03-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts and lovely bright room. Roof terrace has an amazing view of Manhattan. Would highly recommend

  • Very nice place and people. Thanks a lot!

    Sven2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Annette is super accommodating. We have shifted the check in time a few times due to thanksgiving traffic and she has made the corresponding arrangement. The whole family is very friendly and love to meet people around the world. We felt very welcome in the house. The house is very stylish and the room is quite big and very clean with a closet and the bathroom is right outside. In general it’s a very comfortable space at a good price, especially for New York! Highly recommend the place.

    Annie2018-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay was really awesome! The whole house is so nicely decorated, and the room is comfy, spacious and light. Having a private bathroom was also great and everything was so clean. Annette really goes above and beyond to make your stay great and to provide you with tips on where to go and where to eat, and the whole family was very nice and hospitable! The rooftop is amazing to go eat or just chill and look at the great view. Literally nothing to complain about :)
