Welcome to your Home Away from Home in the Olympic National Park! Blue Jay Nest is the perfect spot when traveling around the Olympic Peninsula. Nestled between some of the worlds largest trees you will soon be making Quinault a regular retreat . Enjoy kayaking, hiking, bird watching, mushroom foraging and everything mother nature has to offer you in this never forgotten vacation.
We are now offering our detached Mother-in-Law studio for your perfect vacation get away. Our Nest is fully furnished with a new Queen sized bed, a galley kitchen with a full sized refrigerator and oven/ stove top as well as the usual dishes... including pots and pans in case you decide to stay in for dinner. Although we do not advertise having wifi we do usually have internet access and will provide the information at check in. However because of the location both internet and phone service may be a bit slow or even nonexistent while traveling around the peninsula. We know this can be stressful and advise printing out directions to any highlighted areas in case your GPS is unavailable when you need it. Last year we opened our first small business outside of our home. Depending on the season you will be able to find Homemade Jams and Jellies, Fresh Baked Pies, Local Smoked Salmon as well as small souvenirs right outside of your door. If you are celebrating an anniversary, birthday or special occasion and would like a custom dessert for your trip please let me know a week in advance and I would be happy to make your special day an even bigger surprise.
Although we live in a residential area most of the cabins around are used as family vacation homes. In the summer there may be more people around and in the winter months you may be the only car on the road!
  • One word: Fantastic! We loved our stay, it is a cozy and beautiful spot!

  • Lovely location and great host! The view of the lake from the bedroom was a treat to wake up to each morning!

  • Wonderful hosts in an awesome location on Lake Quinault. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We really appreciated the thoughtful extra touches that Jennifer thinks of for guests. We had a slight issue with the power so lights and TV weren't working in the bedroom when we arrived but Jennifer responded to us right away and her husband had it fixed within the hour! Unfortunately we picked a bad weekend for weather so we didn't get to enojoy much of the view or the kayaks because of the fog.

  • We loved our stay and definitely highly recommend!!! Clean, great amenities, incredible view of the lake- and so peaceful!

    Bonnie2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful view of the lake right from bed! Amazing, and very close to the Quinault trails. Would definitely stay here again!

  • This is a great space to stay in when visiting Olympic nat'l park and nat'l forest. The room was warm and quiet and the kitchen was well-outfitted.

    Kyle2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Blue Jay Nest was amazing. Great for 2 to explore Quinault with comfort and convenience. The sharing of the kayaks and life jackets is really cool. The Quinault area has great access to fishing, hiking, foraging, stargazing, and anthropological endeavors. Can't recommend this enough.

    Zain2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • The views are amazing, giving you a nice relaxation and peace! The amenities are amazing and plentiful and handy! Clean and cozy! Close to hiking trails and the town of Quinault!

Cozy condo perfect for quiet getaway w/ access to beach & many activities. Great razor clam digging! 1 bedroom 2 story condo w/ private deck off master. Complex has a pool, hot tub, & various onsite activities. The ocean beach (closed to vehicles 4/15 to Sept) is a short (1/4 mi) walk through the dunes. A 10 minute drive takes you to Ocean Shores for events, restaurants, & shopping. Many other nearby wildlife areas, hiking trails, & Olympic parks. Sorry, no pets for guests per Association rules.
**COVID-19 update This information is changing on a daily basis, so please check agencies and contact me before making any final decisions. While the resort is currently open, all shared use spaces are closed for the safety of the staff and guests. This means the clubhouse with pool, hot tub, etc, is not accessible, and the playground, canoes, volleyball and other outdoor organized recreation are closed off. Washington state has also closed the beaches, so while our property and the dunes are available for walks, you are not supposed to go out on the beach. If you are ill, or have had recent contact with someone that is ill, please do not come out. Our staff is concerned and limiting exposure as much as possible. I have put a 3 day notice restriction on my unit to make sure there is enough time before bookings to notice the staff.** My favorite family getaway! We would come out to our condo at Surfcrest every time we had it (every six weeks). Now that I've moved out of state, I hope others can enjoy this bit of peace and quiet by the beach! The condo is about 650 sq ft with light filled open spaces. It was built in the early 1970's. There is a spiral staircase to access a loft area with bunkbeds and the bedroom. The bedroom has a deck facing NW, overlooking the dunes. The bathroom is downstairs (on the main floor). The kitchen has settings for 6 people and plenty of cookware, as well as a full sized refrigerator, stove, sink, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and many cooking implements. The dining table is cozy with 6; 2 people will need folding chairs (in the closet) or use the coffee tables (super sturdy!) The unit also has wireless internet access (shared by the entire complex, do not stream video), an HD TV with limited cable (some HD channels), a Blu ray player, and a combo VCR/DVD unit for your older videos. The fireplace and sliding glass door with occasional passing deer also provide entertainment! Foxes and river otters have been sighted from other units, so it is worth keeping the curtains open. During clamming season there is a faucet behind the unit for washing your Razor clams (do not wash them in the sink, the sand is bad for the system). Always check the WA website for dates approved to dig clams, a license can be purchased down the road in Ocean City. As an added treat, enjoy the club house hot tub, sauna, or steam room on the chilly winter days.
The complex is a 54 unit townhouse style vacation condominium. It is separated from other properties by Connor Creek or vast expanses of grass covered beach dunes. The ocean is accessed by private paths through the dunes and is a frequent location for clam digs (schedule as approved by WA Fish & Wildlife, usually Oct-Apr) Ocean Shores is about a 10-15 minute drive south and has a variety of restaurants and entertainment. There is a small convenience store 1.5 miles south of the property. A small grocery (Copalis Market), and the Green Lantern diner are about 2 miles north.
  • So close to the beach, cozy little condos, love the fireplace! Great place to escape from it all.

    Martha2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! About 10 minutes away from ocean shores. 5 minutes away from the beach. Would absolutely stay again. I love the spiral staircase. Just validates my need for one in my own home. The pool and hot tub area being open during the winter time is sooooo awesome for the kids.

    Ashley2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Just the place for a quiet, peaceful visit to the ocean.

    Richard2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This sweet little condo was exactly as advertised. We enjoyed being able to walk to the beach, and all of the great amenities!

    Erin2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing place. Love the quiet and the pool and hot tub. Beach is a walk away but very nice and clean. I loved the ability to go to Seabrook and Ocean Shores for shopping. The hostess was absolutely wonderful.

    Kawehilani2019-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful location and great amenities! Can't wait to come back.

    Kellie2019-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time! It's a charming area, and the space was perfect for us. Looking forward to coming back someday!

    Natasha2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • This is our second year spending a week at the condo. While we prefer to drive to the public access points on the beach, the complex does have a path to the beach through the dunes. The office has a game room with ping pong, pool, and some other stuff for kiddos/teens, a pool, kiddie pool (18" depth), and a hot tub. And a sauna! While the condo isn't fancy, and does require us to have a little patience with each other regarding space (it's 650 sq ft and there are five of us), it is such a tremendous value for the money and allows us to affordably create such great family memories. Everything is maximized for functionality and efficiency to allow guests to make the most of the space. So much to do...kids can go play in the game room while parents go to the pool/hot tub/sauna and relax or sleep in. Families can check out movies, board games, and puzzles for free from the office. There is a playground for littles, barbecues, all kinds of stuff. I can't recommend this place enough and, again, it is SUCH a great value and Jennifer is a very on point and efficient host (and the complex is set up for short term rentals so they have the routine down pat.)

This peaceful and cozy space at the Moonglow Retreat Center can be yours to get away from the constant noise, digital input, and human interactions that can slowly wear us down and deplete our bodies, minds and spirits. There is plenty of green space, trails, meditation spots, firepit, analog entertainment and lots more to help revitalize and re energize your whole being. There is one bedroom and other accommodations for four with an extra futon, couch, and self inflating air mattress.
Moonglow is a 5 acre retreat center that has been in continuous operation since 2000. We welcome all people that want to get away and relax. Our location is very private and very safe. We are offering the space for up to 4 guests. Your accommodations are very warm, spacious and comfortable with a high conical ceiling, skylight and pellet wood stove for those cool evenings. We are providing a kitchenette that includes refrigerator, toaster, coffee pot and dishes. There is cold and hot running water in the bathroom and the toilet is a vented and odorless composting (non flush). We do not have a shower at this time located in the yurt but there is a shower and flush toilet in the guest bathroom in the main house available to use any time.
Trees, trees and more trees. Llamas as next door neighbors. Lots of good energy to help you relax.
  • Keith is a wonderful host! He was very quick on replies and even had the wood stove on for us as we arrived so it was nice and warm! The yurt was clean, very beautiful and stocked well with a variety of things to do and learn about.

    Kathy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Keith's place was just what I needed! Quiet, calm and warm with lots of interesting instruments and reading material. I had brought a lot of stuff to do but ended up not doing any of it due to the vast entertainment that was provided. It was honestly the most relaxed I have been in months. He has thought of everything! Thanks so much for providing such a wonderful space!

    Tanya2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stay here if you get the chance! Keith’s yurt is a spacious room that has obviously been made with love and a love for promoting creative energy. The design was really amazing and we were encouraged to use the games, instruments, candles, massage equipment and the surrounding property as we wanted. There is a very nice composting toilet in the yurt and we had only walk a few feet to use the shower in his house. He was a very nice host - would come back!

    Ben2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Keith's place was just perfect! The pictures do it no justice :) It is one of the most comfortable and well thought out spaces that I have ever experienced on airbnb. The yurt space is perfectly used divided up into a cozy living space, bedroom and bathroom; with beautiful ambient lighting and a super convenient to use and effective indoor fireplace. The personal touches to the place are incredible, from the decor paintings on the wall to the books to the musical instruments to the games and music - Its like a museum in itself for you to explore. The area is super peaceful, and very well connected despite feeling like being totally in the woods off the grid. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy place in the farm wilderness. Thanks a bunch Keith for creating such a lovely setting for us.

Now available for rent is this beautiful house on Lake Quinault. The views are incredible you walk right into this home and all you see is the Lake and immediately  feel relaxed.
The living room, dining, and kitchen are all one open area. There are 3 bedrooms with queen size beds, 1 full bath as well as a 3/4 bath with a shower in the laundry room.  The 4th bedroom is upstairs with 4 twin beds and TV. There is a hideabed couch in the living room.  Enjoy the new game room with pool table. The very well kept yard has room for Tents. There is a 50 amp breaker available for an RV (there is not a sewer hook up for it). It even has a boat launch right next to the house, please note tubing and skiing are not allowed on this lake and there is a 25 MPH speed limit. There is even a Game Room! Separate from the house, it has a full size pool table, a foos ball table , a dart board and mini frig. Tons of fun for the kids even if its raining.   Dogs are Okay with an additional fee.   If you choose to use the RV power and water the charge is $50 per night extra. You can also enjoy a gas BBQ provided. There is a $25 charge if you do not clean it after your use.
  • We got the check in code about 5 mins before check in, was worried about it for a while but it worked out. There was no bbq brush to clean the bbq to avoid the extra fee for not cleaning the bbq. We made do with what we had. The game room was great for the kids and even the adults. Lake view was spectacular. Gas fireplace warms up the house in just minutes! Got visited by the friendly neighborhood labradors. No issues there as we are dog people. Overall just a great time at a very quiet and peaceful location.

    Joshua2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our time at this home. It was in an ideal location to set off everyday and visit various parts of the park. The lake and mountains are just out the back door and so beautiful. The place is clean and the kitchen is well provisioned. We also loved the gas fireplace. The best part for us was that we were allowed to bring our dog :) We hope to come back again soon.

    Karyn2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice stay at Snow Caps! It warmed up nicely and stayed warm inside. The fireplace really worked great. Great kitchen setup and good quality cookware. We felt very well taken care of. It rained so much that we couldn't really enjoy the outdoor areas or the pool table room. The location worked out wonderful for us. We had a Tribal fishing guide lined up and he asked us to meet at the Pizza Parlor in Amanda Park which was only 2 minutes from our place! The beds were comfortable and the water was super hot for showers etc. The dogs next door came over a few times and barked at us too but they didn't seem menacing. I'm sure we will be back as soon as possible, but for sure next year. thanks!

  • Very well maintained and equipped older home with an amazing lakefront view of Lake Quinault and the Olympics!

    Doug2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This house is the perfect get away for a group or large family. It rests right on the Lake and the views are amazing! The Olympic National Forest and Olympic National Park is only minutes away with lots of hiking trails to visit for every age. We were there with our kids and two other family members so there is space to spread out. The kitchen is fully stocked! We used the griddle every morning to make pancakes and also used their crockpot. The home is older but cozy! I enjoyed my quiet mornings, before everyone woke up, with a cup of coffee in front of the fireplace. You will not regret staying at this home. We look forward to returning in the summer.

  • I had a very comfortable time at Pacific Beach. The house was very clean, and well stocked with pots and pans. The deck is a nice place to enjoy the breeze and watch the waves come in. There’s a towel warmer in the bathroom downstairs. It’s the little things that make this spot great! There’s a convenience store a stone’s throw away with a pretty impressive selection of food, drink, and hardware (live bait, bike pumps, you name it). I was only there for two days in March, but I’ll certainly keep the location in mind for the future when I feel like getting away from the business of city life. I got around quite easily without a car. It’s a quiet town, spectacular sunsets. Highly recommend.

  • Awesome, quiet place with a spectacular view of the ocean! Would definitely stay again!

    Sarah2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place! The view of the ocean is beautiful from the cabin. The trail down to the beach was an easy walk and beautiful itself. The cabin is super cozy with the wooden vaulted ceilings and big comfy couches. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed! From knives and cutting boards to baking sheets, pots, pans, glassware, and ice cube trays! There's a coffee maker and filters but make sure to bring your own coffee. I believe there's also a bean grinder as well. The no wifi and no cable was great as there are board games to play. The king bed is extremely soft and comfy! The shower water pressure is comfortable and the water gets nice and hot! We would definitely stay here again in the future.

    Shelbie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing place! Loved the wood fired stove, even cooked some clam chowder on the cook top. Very relaxing and private. Beach is a short walk away. We hope to visit again!

    Logan2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time with my family here. The place was clean and the roar of the ocean was lovely! If you plan on cooking pick up some spices because all they’ve got is salt and pepper. Also there is not a grocery store nearby so make sure to buy your stuff ahead of time.

    Laura2019-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was such a cute place, the perfect beach cabin get away. The walk down to the beach was not that far and we had the whole beach to our selves. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the best bed we’ve ever had in an Airbnb (we like it soft). Not to mention we got lost the night we came trying to find the drive way, our phones were telling us to go down a road that didn’t exist. We call the help line and even though it was 10pm they were determined to help. We finally figured out it was 2 driveways back (doesn’t help when every gate has a key pad) and there is a for sale sign out front with a little blue shed off to the left. The sign was hard to see in the pitch black. Other than a few too many flies, which we made a game out of killing this adorable place was perfect! Would come again!

    Miranda2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is charming and as described- the view is sensational and walking on the beach was bliss.

    Daphne2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a hidden gem! We loved our stay here so much! Would recommend to anyone who loves nature, privacy and relaxation. Our only negative is not terribly applicable to us personally and that is that the beach is only accessible near the house via a very gorgeous, beautiful, nature-filled but steep hike down stairs then a nature trail. But we saw ravens, blue jays, raccoons, squirrels and shrews along the trail and we LOVED IT! Fantastic place to go to enjoy the hidden coast of Washington and nearby rainforest.

  • This lovely home is a treat. Back off the beach in a quiet neighborhood, it offered the peace and rest we needed. From the living room, there is a beautiful view of the ocean. This older home is tiny but comfortably slept 4 of us. I wouldn't hesitate to add two more of our family members next time. The owner was great at communicating through e-mail, and phone. She even anticipated needs that we would have in her final communication with us before our trip. We would definitely come here again!!

  • What a beautiful home! LOTS of space and the kitchen was fully stocked. The view from upstairs is amazing. Very clean. We went during the winter so we couldn't walk down to the beach but we did have a beautiful walk trying.

  • This was a super fun place to stay at! There was plenty of board games, which was a fun touch, and it had the best stocked kitchen I've ever experienced renting through air bnb. We had brought some odds and ends to cook with, but the kitchen had everything we needed already(including a pizza pan!).

  • This is a very comfortable and modern place. A great place to return to after a day at the beach or sightseeing in the area. We would reserve it again.

  • The house was new and clean and spacious for our whole crew!

    Janet2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay. The host is very easy to work with and finding the place is simple. Such a great location and a quick down the road drive from ocean shores. We loved the view and enjoyed the amenities, especially the board games! Went razor clamming all weekend and kicked back in the beautiful home. only negative was the beach was NOT accessible from the back deck, but a 2 minute drive down the road gave us beach access. Thanks again, worth the trip!

  • Super close walk to the store and the beach, calm town with a long and open beachfront. Pretty standard place.

  • This was a great spot! Beach access was super easy and just a few minute’s walk away. One thing to think about - #1 is right next to the stairs. This really bothered our dogs, so if yours are on high alert too, you might pick a different unit.

  • The location is very close to the beach, which made it easy to walk to. We loved the decor and color scheme of our room. The host was able to switch out a broken microwave fairly quickly. We found the restaurant and activity recommendations in the binder very helpful. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the future!

  • Great stay! Beautiful location!

    Caitlin2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • The creek was delightful and the view was amazing. Only stayed a night, but the fact that the cabin is on the lake loop road was so awesome - you have access to at least two waterfalls and some trailheads just up the way. It’s primitive services only, no big grocery stores so buy your stuff on the way in if you’re planning to stock the fridge. Super relaxing place. We got lucky and no one was staying in the big house next door so we had it all to ourselves. Perfect for 3 couples. Kitchen was stocked with measuring cups and mixing bowls, plates, pans etc. Coffee pot, bring your own coffee. We hope to stay again next year, hopefully earlier in the season. A great staycation for the locals in our party, and a neat intro to the Rainforest for our out of town family.

Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home sits high on a bluff above the Pacific Ocean in the quirky, fabulous hamlet of Pacific Beach. Enjoy a morning latte with the sound of the surf or watch the sun sink into the sea from our 450 sq ft ocean-facing deck. Centrally-located on the Washington Coast: 5-min walk/70-sec drive down to the beach (park right on the sand); 19 miles to Olympic Nat'l Forest; 29 miles to Lake Quinault/Olympic Nat'l Park; Olympic Rainforests: Quinault 29 mi; Queets 50 mi; Hoh 99 mi.
**A Note About COVID-19 (Coronavirus): Understandably, we are receiving many questions about our cleaning and sanitation practices. We are following CDC guidelines specific for COVID-19. Specifically, after thoroughly cleaning the home following each guest, we disinfect the home with an EPA-registered hospital disinfectant with virucidal activity -- this includes all kitchen and bathroom fixtures, all light switches, all remotes, all door knobs, and other commonly-touched surfaces. This disinfectant is kid- and pet-safe once dry and, thankfully, has a pleasant eucalyptus scent. We clean our home ourselves; it is our only focus and our reviews evidence the pride we take in presenting our home for visitors. Our recommendation would be that you only travel with your immediate family unit at this time -- those with whom you normally live. Bring food to cook at the home or utilize take-out options. The region is rural and the beach secluded, so social distancing is quite easy. If meeting extended family for vacation, we would recommend that each household book a separate rental as an added precaution. With some ingenuity and care for others we will emerge from this, and we will be stronger for it. ---- Our 1,300 sq ft beach home offers a comfortable, convenient base camp from which to explore the Washington Coast and Olympic National Park while relaxing each evening to the roar of the Pacific. The open-concept main floor includes a master bedroom and full bath for those who would like to avoid stairs. This bedroom has a king-sized bed, expansive drawer space, and walk-in closet so that you can spread out in comfort during your stay. A 40" Smart TV provides access to over 200 satellite channels as well as popular streaming apps, such as Hulu and Netflix. Photos throughout the home highlight coastal destinations which can be reached during an afternoon excursion while returning here in the evening. A sliding glass door opens onto a small deck providing access to the dog- and kid-friendly back yard (fully enclosed in privacy fencing) and edible garden (planted Spring 2019). When in-season, help yourself to some of the nectarines (Hardi-Red), apples (Karmijn de Sonnaville), blueberries (Pink Lemonade and Chandler), raspberries (Caroline), seaberries (Titan), and cherries (Surefire Pie). As with all things, take what you need but make sure to leave some for future guests and for us. A stainless steel grill allows for summer back yard cookouts. The main floor bathroom has a full tub/shower combo with tile surround and glass shower door, providing a bright, modern setting while the privacy-screened window opens the room without compromising modesty. Plush white Macy's Hotel Collection bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths, coupled with dual hand showers, help to create a spa-like setting. Off the hallway outside the bathroom is a washer and dryer stocked with laundry soap, fabric softener, bleach, and color-safe bleach. A pressure iron and ironing board are available for those with more formal destinations. The kitchen has place settings for 8 (as well as plastic dishes for the little ones), wine glasses, cocktail glasses, tea kettle, the usual assortment of pots/pans/cooking utensils, mixing bowls, graters, and cutting boards. Counter top appliances include a hand mixer, blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, Breville espresso maker, coffee grinder, toaster, and waffle maker. A dishwasher makes clean-up a snap. We stock the kitchen/pantry with staples, including 15+ spices, salt/pepper, flour, rice, sugar, coffee beans, vegetable and olive oil, vinegar, cornstarch, veggie bouillon, tabasco, corn starch, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla extract, soy sauce, rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar, red and white wine vinegar, saran wrap, tin foil, syrup, cooking spray, and butter. As you may have guessed, we list this in detail because grocery shopping is limited without a drive -- after all, peace and seclusion likely are components of why you are choosing Pacific Beach for your stay. The living and dining rooms look out onto the expansive lower deck through four large windows; even on the lower level there are ocean views that align with the setting sun. The dining room table seats 6 with seating for 2 at the breakfast bar. Partially hidden by the bar stools is a small cabinet which houses board games and assorted reading materials. A 60" Smart TV graces the corner of the living room. In addition to popular streaming apps such as Hulu and Netflix, a Sling box provides access to a dedicated HD satellite receiver at our primary home with access to over 200 channels, On-Demand programming (though not Pay-Per-View), and a DVR; the Sling signal can be redirected to the bedroom TV's when you are ready to retire for the evening. Below the TV, an electric fireplace illuminates a quartzite facade and travertine mantle, not only providing ambiance but also helping keep the winter chill at bay. The home is fully electric, with the grill being the only fossil fuel source; this takes full advantage of the bounty of the Olympic Peninsula, which allows us to source 98% of our electricity from renewable sources. The lower deck boasts a bistro set perfect for morning coffee surrounded by hanging baskets of phlox, bee balm, and hardy geraniums which attract butterflies and hummingbirds. Deck containers sport a series of fresh herbs, including thyme, mint, oregano, parsley, chives, and basil (whose growing season is shortened by our cool, damp nights). Just off the deck, lavender provides summer perfume while two dwarf apple trees (Liberty and William's Pride) complete the edible garden. Back inside, ascending the stairs you will encounter an armoire with spare blankets and pillows. To the right is the second bedroom, with a queen-sized memory foam mattress, ample drawer space, an armoire for hanging clothes, and a desk where you can squeeze in a last-minute work project or simply check your email while gazing out at the ocean. An android mini-PC is connected to the HDMI-2 input on the monitor which provides internet access (use the wireless keyboard in the desk drawer) while an HDMI cord attached to the HDMI-1 input allows you to connect your laptop to the monitor. A 32" TV and DVD player allow you to watch your favorite movie or keep the kids occupied. The room opens onto the upper deck, with sectional seating for 4 as well as two over-sized deck chairs. A deck box allows for storage of personal items, such as a good book, during your stay. Our home is located one block in on the bluff, with interrupted ocean views spanning approximately 160 degrees (see photos). The roar of the ocean tends to pick up in the evening and at night, while by day the shouts and laughter of happy beach-goers can be heard wafting over the bluff. The second full bath is located off this bedroom, again with tub/shower combo, dual hand showers, and glass shower door. Macy's Hotel Collection towels and plenty of drawer and cabinet space further accommodate your grooming regimen. Back across the hallway is the third bedroom with a queen-sized bed as well as a Euro Lounger which folds down into a full-sized bed. An armoire and nightstand provide storage space, and a sliding glass door opens onto a balcony with views of the surrounding neighborhood, forest, and rising sun. Both upstairs bedrooms have A-frame ceilings with exposed ridge beam. During the winter, ceiling fans tied to the heating system help gently displace warm air down from the peak to keep the upstairs rooms quite comfortable. The thermostats will be programmed to keep the home warmer during the morning and evening, cooler during the day and overnight. You may override the programming in any individual room by raising or lowering the desired temperature (the primary temperature shown in the display is the current temperature of the room; pressing the up or down arrows will highlight the goal temperature, which you can then change). Keep in mind that the thermostat will revert to the pre-set program after a few hours. In the summer, the upstairs ceiling fans are reversed and can be manually activated, but we find that opening the ocean-facing windows and the back balcony window creates quite the breeze and maintains a comfortable temperature. Bear in mind that the average high in Pacific Beach is 70 F in July and 71 F in August; conversely, it rarely freezes in winter with average highs in the mid-40's. As Roderic works in technology, I would be remiss if I failed to mention that the home has broadband internet with 100 Mb download speeds, WiFi coverage throughout, Ring security cameras outside covering the entire perimeter of the home (including decks and driveway), motion-activated safety lighting for letting the dog out late at night, exterior lighting set to run from sunset to sunrise (the top deck lighting turns off at 1 am so as not to interfere with sleep), a Ring video doorbell, and keypad entry. Each bedroom and the living room is equipped with emergency lighting which illuminates during a power outage and will run on battery power for up to 15 hours. Not only do these safety features keep the home secure when vacant, but they also serve to keep you and your family safe during your stay. Most cellular carriers struggle on the coast; therefore, you will want to activate WiFi calling on your cell upon arrival. If all else fails, you can reach us via the Ring video doorbell and we can walk you through connecting your phone to the WiFi. Finally, an EV charger is available for guest use. We allow up to three dogs at no additional charge -- all we ask is that you prevent them from curling up on the beds/sofa when wet or muddy and that you conduct a quick vacuum before leaving if they are shedding. If you are hoping to bring more than three dogs, please contact us beforehand and we will attempt to accommodate. Sunkissed is obviously a play on the color of the home, but it perfectly describes a Pacific Northwest summer -- including here on the coast. There is another shade named for the region: Grays Harbor. A deep, sulky blue-grey, it mirrors the color of the Pacific during our fierce late autumn storms. Whether your plans include strolling down the peaceful summer shoreline or watching violent waves from the safety of a bluff-top deck, we welcome you into our home to share in the beauty of the Washington Coast. Licensed through the Washington State Business Licensing Service: RR Bed and Breakfast, UBI: (See Photo of Business License)
Our home sits high atop a bluff overlooking the Pacific, though beach access is only 5 mins by foot or 70 secs by car. The closest beach access is via Analyde Gap Rd (head back out of the subdivision via Clerf St, left onto 1st St N, go 2 blocks then left on Homer St, 1 blk then right on Analyde Gap Rd -- a lot of words to describe a 0.3 mi walk). If you are carrying a lot with you, this beach is great since you can drive right out onto the sand. You can park anywhere to the right throughout the year; the area to the left is seasonally protected. The more well-known (and therefore more crowded) Pacific Beach State Park is 0.9 miles to the south. Between the two lies the town of Pacific Beach, with a spattering of mom-and-pop shops, a convenience store to stock up on basic supplies, bike rentals, kite shops, a hardware store, and fantastic ocean views -- topped with the endearing quirkiness that draws visitors here. Even the former Naval Station has been converted to a military resort and conference center. Pacific Beach hosts several seasonal events, including Chocolate on the Beach in February, Sand Castle contests, and the Kelpers Day Parade and Shakerat (logger) Rendevous in September. Absent a festival, it's usually a great day to fly a kite! Seasonal Clam Digs! Running from late September through April, razor clam season draws thousands of clammers to Washington’s beaches. It’s no wonder – according to the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (DFW), the Pacific razor clam is one of the most sought after shellfish in the state, often drawing more than 1,000 people per mile of beach on approved dig days. Long a staple of life for the Coast Salish tribes and early European settlers, this precious resource is now sustainably managed by the DFW. Dig days are organized by region (Kalaloch, Mocrocks, Copalis Beach, Twin Harbors, Long Beach) and divided between fall digs (when the approved low tide occurs at night) and spring digs (when the approved low tide occurs in the morning). Those willing to grab a lantern and brave the elements can take advantage of the less crowded fall dig days while those looking for a more social experience can opt for spring dates. Razor clams are found in the intertidal zone of the beach – the region inundated at high tide and exposed at low tide (from 3 feet above to 2 feet below sea level). A license allowing you to bag 15 clams per day can be obtained at You and I Market in Pacific Beach. You’ll also need a shovel, clam gun, and a separate container for each license, all of which can be obtained at Buck’s Bikes in neighboring Seabrook. Head to the beach 1-2 hours before low tide and commence digging! The beach region adjacent to Pacific Beach is called Mocrocks by the DFW (Moclips to Copalis Rock) and officially stretches from the southern boundary of the Quinault Reservation southward to the mouth of the Copalis River. The Copalis Beach region, which begins on the other side of the Copalis River, is just 10 miles away. Make sure to check the DFW website for a list of tentatively-scheduled dates, then check back a few days ahead of time to make sure the date received final approval following toxin testing. A Storied Past Pacific Beach has a storied history. Prior to establishment of the reservation in 1855, the Quinault Nation sustained itself hunting from ocean-going canoes along this coastline. By the early 1900's, urban tourists began flocking to the region via a newly finished rail terminus. The Pacific Beach Hotel, constructed in 1906, became a honeymooner's paradise. The area thrived on tourism and canning razor clams until World War II, when the Pacific Beach Hotel was purchased by the Navy as an anti-aircraft training center. Soon thereafter, the Air Force established a radar site to close several radar gaps along the Washington Coast which could have allowed hostile aircraft access to sites in the interior. This radar site was temporary, and in 1951 the military attempted to sell the site back to Pacific Beach; however, since the town is unincorporated, the sale could not be effected. In 1958, the Navy established a secret Sound Surveillance System designed to track Soviet submarine movements under the guise of oceanographic research. The town was intentionally removed from maps, and remaining tourism dried up. Technological changes made the station obsolete in the 1980's, and in 1987 the base was converted to a Naval Resort and Conference center. Since then, tourism has slowly trickled back to a region dubbed by the New York Times as "The Coast that Defies Big Dreams." [Thank you to Seabrook, The Museum of the North Beach, and NavyLifePNW for providing historical context). Solitude in Nature Nineteen miles to the northeast lies the southwesternmost boundary of the Olympic National Forest, established by the Grover Cleveland Administration in 1897. The core of the National Forest became Olympic National Park under the Franklin D. Roosevelt administration in 1938 and lies 29 miles northeast at Lake Quinault. Olympic National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site secondary to its dramatic beauty and biodiversity. The Olympic peninsula is biologically isolated from the rest of the continent and survived glaciation during the last ice age; consequently, it harbors many species of plants and animals which exist nowhere else on Earth. The park spans a stunning array of ecosystems, from glaciated peaks to alpine meadows, to old-growth forest. Best known are the temperate rain forests of the ocean-facing river valleys which channel moisture off the coast and drench the forest floor. Olympic also spans 62 miles of wild coastline -- the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline in the lower 48. This coastline not only allows visitors to experience the stark beauty of native coastline unchanged by the hand of man, but also, in places, to contemplate our impact on the planet when stretches of wild coastline are littered with the detritus of a polluted ocean. Olympic National Park is vast -- nearly 1 million acres -- and mostly to be experienced on foot. Few roads penetrate the park and none cross it. To experience the park, visitors need to stay in various coastal towns encircling the park, and Pacific Beach is a great location for exploring the southwest flank of the park, the three largest rain forests (Quinault, Queets, and Hoh, with its Hall of Mosses), and the wilderness coastline. Restless Ground A 2015 article in The New Yorker introduced Americans to what geologists had discovered over the preceding twenty-five years: whereas settlers thought they had discovered the only peaceful region of the Ring of Fire, they had unwittingly built a civilization on its most violent section. A Cascadia Subduction Zone quake is overdue and, in a full-margin rupture, will launch the entire Northwest six feet lower and 100 further west in the span of minutes. The ensuing tsunami will be the most devastating natural disaster in American history. The good news is that this section of Pacific Beach is the gathering spot post-quake and is high enough in elevation to be above the inundation zone. If you are a geology buff, the nearby Copalis Ghost Forest is the geological Rosetta Stone which helped scientists discover the subduction zone in the late 1980's and can be reached by paddle board via the Copalis River. There really is something for everyone here.

  • What a sweet little place to hole up in for a few days. A few days of amazing weather and social distancing during this weird time. The place smelled bleachy clean, which was reassuring, and I loved that the deck was fenced too, so the pooches could hang outside with us in the sun. We slept well, took lots of long walks, and read and read and read. We'll definitely be back.

The town is nestled next to the beach which provides wonderful opportunities to enjoy the majesty of the Pacific Ocean.
  • This cottage is perfectly adorable. Decorated so cute. Beds were comfy linens were great. Everything you need is here. We opted to drive to the beach vs. walk because it was easier for us. Bring your own folding beach chairs to use as the cottage ones are not meant for the beach. Great place for kids and adults,

Whether you bring a group or just have a quiet get away for two, we provide the essentials in a stylish, up-to-date vacation home that's a short walk to the beach and just a half mile from popular Seabrook amenities.
FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF APRIL we would prefer new bookings go to guests requesting to "Shelter in Place". Preferably guests who already share a home, and have not been exposed to someone with Covid-19. State parks are closed, as are tourist activities, and restaurants are only offering take out. Gas stations, grocery stores, and hardware stores in the area, are open. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) issued a temporary order to close all recreational fishing and shellfishing in the entire state in order to further prevent the spread of COVID-19. This is a "whole house" listing. You and your guests will be the only people occupying the property during your stay. Just a short walk to the beach. Sandy's Pacific Beach House has 2400 square feet of living space. Many high-end touches. What sets us apart, besides the great ocean and beach views, is the GAME ROOM (see description below), which provides something to do TOGETHER late at night, or on even the rainiest, stormy days. (There are also board games, cards, movies, etc. in the great room upstairs.) There is a full kitchen with granite slab counter tops. And out back, in the fully fenced yard, is a playground for the little ones. The View: The 160 degree sparkling ocean and beach views can be seen from the living room and dining areas. There is also a view of the ocean and beach from the kitchen window and from the 2 bedrooms downstairs. There are also very large upper and lower decks for water views and relaxation. On the upper deck is a gas grill. Love horseback riding? Planning a stay at Sandy's Pacific Beach House? Ocean Shores is just minutes from Pacific Beach. Here are a few places that offer horseback riding on the beach! Honey Pearl Horse Rental 360.987.2150 Nan-Sea Stables 360.289.0194 Chenois Creek Horse Rental On the Beach at Damon Road Ocean Shores WA 98569. Recommended by Sun and Snow Northwest. Main floor: Is upstairs and boasts a "great room" with gas fireplace, dining, reclining couches, cable TV, a good sized kitchen with brand new GE Adora appliances, and a powder room. Out the sliding glass door is a huge wrap around deck and the propane grill. Also on that floor is the master bedroom with cable TV, and its private bathroom with travertine tile. (There is a set of about 12 stairs, with a large landing between them, from the first floor up to the main floor.) First Floor: On the first floor is the front door entry, the laundry room (with new washer and dryer), a bedroom with 1 queen bed and cable TV, a bedroom with a bunkbed, a twin bed, a twin trundle bed, and another full bathroom in the hallway. Each of these 2 bedrooms has sliding glass doors opening on to the large lower deck, where ocean and beach views can be enjoyed. The Game Room: Downstairs is the game room with a pool table, shuffle board, air hockey, Foosball, dart board, a few children's toys, a fold out futon for relaxing of sleeping, and a smart TV. There are also 2 memory foam cots that can be placed in any room. Back Yard: The huge back yard is fully fenced in with a 6' privacy fence, a children's swing set and play yard, and 2 picnic tables. Up to 2 dogs allowed for a $75 fee, paid in advance. HOW TO GET TO THE BEACH: Most people prefer to drive onto the beach at the Analyde Gap Rd. entrance. But there is also a nice walk to the walk-on beach entrance in Pacific Beach itself. To drive to beach: The 2 minute drive to the beach is 7 tenths of a mile. Exit the driveway and turn right onto 1st St. N. Travel ½ mile and turn left onto Homer St. Travel 295 feet and turn right onto Analyde Gap Rd. The beach entrance is in 2 tenths of a mile. Drive onto the beach to the right (driving to the left is off limits except in winter) and drive or park anywhere. To walk to beach: Exit the driveway and turn left onto 1st St. N. There is a paved sidewalk to follow. Walk down the hill toward town. Where 1st St. N. becomes Main St. you will (almost immediately) turn right onto 1st St. South. Take 1st St. South for about 2 blocks then turn right onto Sheahan trail. Follow the short trail to the beach.
Pacific Beach is a quiet village with rustic charm. There are a few shops, a couple of boutiques, a coffee house, small grocery store, post office, gas station. A few doors to the north of our beach house is an excellent little art gallery featuring local artists.

  • This home looks like the photos and feels like home. We loved the games in the game room and the board game choices. It was very comfortable for 2 families of 4 with 2 dogs. Sunsets are AMAZING from the deck (and living room) with 180 degree views. We felt spoiled. Checkout was super easy.

  • What a great house! My wife and I came over for just a few days and enjoyed Our stay. Just a short walk to the beach with a nice view. The fireplace kept us quite warm so that was nice to have. We didn’t use the kitchen but seemed to be well equipped. We had assortment of coffees, tea, and hot chocolate available which we took full advantage of. We didn’t get a chance to use the game room but we’ll come back with our kids next time so it’ll get well used.

    Steve2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is an excellent home for a perfect stay! The house is great for a family and the view of the ocean is outstanding! We had an awesome stay and would love to visit again.

  • Perfect size for my large family: 3adults, 4 teenagers and an infant. It was super close to the beach. We loved the game room for the rainy day we had

    Amanda2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great open concept floor plan for large groups. The dining table was perfect for my family of 8. Linens were nice Quality. My family had a great time hanging out in the game room. Plenty to do. Sandy even decorated for Christmas! Very responsive to all my questions. Would for sure rent again.

    Jennifer2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I stayed at Sandy's place over the weekend before Christmas. To sum everything up, it was fantastic! The house had plenty of space with the master bedroom upstairs (great bathroom) and the two bedrooms downstairs. The game room was a ton of fun and we enjoyed hanging out in there and the large living room (windows face towards the ocean and if it hadn't have been winter, we definitely would have been hanging out on the deck). There were thoughtful touches to remind us that it was the Christmas season (a full tree that was lit up inside and some holiday candy that was gifted by the house keepers). Easy walk to enjoy the beach from the house. We had a wonderful visit!

The closest grocery store is an over priced market in the Seabrook neighborhood. Recommend you plan to purchase groceries at the IGA in Ocean Shores or bring them with you.

  • If you are looking for a quiet location with easy access to an uncrowded sandy beach, Fletcher and Janet's place is a good choice. The kitchen is very well-equipped, even with 'little things' like plastic wrap and Tupperware containers, and the hot tub affords nice views of the beach and sunsets. I spent three nights in the lower unit. The walls could use a coat of paint and if you're over 6'5" the ceilings will feel low, but it's a very comfortable space with good wifi and a generous collection of books and board games.

    Jeffrey2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend this stay enough! If you’re looking for a romantic beach getaway with a gorgeous view and fabulous amenities, look no further! Soak in the hot tub, play board games, take a stroll by the ocean. I loved this place! Thanks Janet and Fletcher!

  • Seabrook is a really neat place to stay. Their are shops and a few restaurants. The houses and neighborhood is adorable. The house we stayed in was like staying in a Hearth and Hand magazine. The decor was adorable and loved by everyone. We especially enjoyed the mud room and hot tub which offered a way to keep the house clean after spending the day at the beach. Its located close to a dog park and walking distance to everything you could want or need. The kitchen was well equipped with most baking and cooking items from pots and pans to bowls and utensils. The knife set was good and had a sharpening steel as well. We would love to stay again.

  • Everything here was perfect! One of my favorite Airbnb stays. The house was so cute, spotless and had a lot of nice little touches that made it such a nice place for our girls weekend!

  • Great home in very nice location. It’s an easy walk to the beach, the neighborhood has tons of great amenities and both the house and the neighborhood are very pet friendly. Our hosts were very proactive in their communications and everything was as nice as described. Great stay. We’d definitely go back.

    Thomas2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • This home is fantastic! My family spent a few days here, and enjoyed a very lovely Christmas. Sparkling clean, cozy, and well stocked in every regard. For families with kids, there are so many thoughtful touches. Plenty of child-friendly dishes, plus so many toys and games for kids of all ages. The bedrooms were so comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything you need to cook - we LOVED that we didn't want for any piece of gear for all of the cooking that we did in the house. The fire pit is a lovely amenity, and we didn't use the hot tub - but that's also a huge perk. Overall, we'd come back in a minute, and would recommend it to anyone - especially families traveling with children. We feel so lucky to have found this gem!

At 'Daybreak on Sunset' you will enjoy the beautiful panoramic views of the ocean while relaxing in our beachfront home anytime of the year. We are right on the beach. You are steps away from having sand in your toes and appreciating everything the beach has to offer. Bask in the scenery of the rolling waves, looking through our large windows or out on the wraparound ocean side deck. Daybreak is wonderful for a couples getaway, girls weekend, family vacation or just getting out of town.
Our home has an open concept design. The living room, kitchen and dining areas are located facing the ocean with the most incredible views of the waves and sunsets. There are no roads to cross, and just a few private steps down off the deck until you are walking on the beach. Gorgeous views on an unspoiled quiet beach are ready for your enjoyment. Daybreak on Sunset can comfortably sleep 1-6 people. Upstairs you will have a breathtaking view from our large master loft bedroom with a queen bed with a full bathroom. Downstairs there are two bedrooms and a full bathroom. One room has a queen size bed, while the other has a full size bed along with a twin bed.
It's a relatively quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We have very little traffic on the road in front of our home because it is not a through street. There are only about 10 homes that are accessible from our street. Please be respectful of the neighbors as there are a few full time residents here. Noise should be kept to a minimum in later evening hours and very early hours. You will find that holidays such as July 4th and New Years are a bit louder here.
  • If you are thinking about booking, stop thinking and book now. It’s a gorgeous place, nice big house with huge open windows and an absolutely stunning beachfront view. It was just the getaway we needed!

  • Great place to stay and relax. Beautifully appointed home right on the beach. Lots of nice touches that makes the home feel much more like a first class experience than a standard "beach house". Highly recommended.

Cute cottage in the woods that’s a 15-min walk (10 min drive) to Copalis Beach. Perfect for big families and/or friends happy to get cozy. One bedroom with queen mattress downstairs and the loft upstairs has one bed but will sleep 8 (full bed, futon, foam mattress, and sleeping mats). Warning: taxidermy. Many kitchen tools ready for use. Clamers: clam guns, bucket, and clam bags are available. A hose on the side of the house helps keep clams, kids, & other stuff sand-free-ish.
Hot water heater will run for about 15 minutes before it needs time to re-heat. Two zero-gravity loungers available for porch use. Three camping chairs available for beach use. Fire pit ready for use! (BBQ not ready though). WiFi is available, Smart TV, but no cable. (We purchase the fastest internet package you can buy on the coast, but it can still be inconsistent.)
About a 15 minutes walk to the beach (picture in gallery with directions). Private community in the woods that borders Copalis Beach. Just 10 minutes drive to Ocean Shores.
  • Our stay was awesome! The cabin was cozy and perfect for our lazy getaway.

    Jenna2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Nice location for beach goers. The trail to the beach from the house was flooded but there is public access 5 minutes to the north.

  • We had a wonderful stay here. We went clam digging as a family (thanks for having an extra clam gun and bags for us!) and enjoyed being able to get warm and cozy so quickly afterwards! We will be back for sure!

  • Very cute and quaint little cottage. Clean and cozy. A nice little 10 minute walk to the beach. Nice front porch to sit out on. Our pup loved it and we loved that you can bring your pet! Huge taxidermy that our dog occasionally whined at but did well for most of the stay. Would stay here again.

This home is setup for comfort from top to bottom. Well equipped in every way. Great kitchen, dining area with a view, and living room with cozy fireplace and more views! The master suite is awesome with views as well. This was the 2nd time I’ve had. The pleasure of staying here and DeAnne is a fabulous host. Will be back.

Stella Mare (Sea Star) cabin is a quaint, charming cape cod home with simple luxury yet only 1.5 blocks from the beach! It is exactly what you would expect from a beach house retreat. It sits in a perfect little town to enjoy walking the beach, clam digging, beach combing and amazing sunsets. There is a pristine, walking-only beach, with a great peaceful vibe. In addition, there are always great kites to enjoy and a kite shop in town if you decide to try it yourself! Bring the family & enjoy!
Stella Mare is a luxurious beach cabin that is your beach home away from home! It has two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed and one with twin bunk beds which gives great options for guests sleeping quarters. There is a huge master suite upstairs with king bed, walk-in closet, clawfoot tub and peek-a-boo ocean views. The house has a large front-porch, fire pit and charcoal grill to extend the vacation to the outside as well. We also have games available so you can soak up the sun and ocean breezes as you play bocce ball or horseshoes in the large, fully-fenced front yard. Bring your dogs and have a great open space for them to soak up the sun and enjoy vacation with you! In addition, for security, there is parking inside the fence for two cars and a parking pad in the back for a third car. There are plenty of activities at the beach, besides building sand castles and flying kites, you can walk to the shops in downtown Pacific Beach, drive 1-mile up the road to Seabrook and enjoy their amenities - restaurants and shops - or drive only 30 miles to Lake Quinault or the Hoh rainforest. Whether you are staying a day or a week, you will absolutely enjoy your stay at Stella Mare!
Pacific Beach is a fun, laid-back community with very friendly people. We have found it to be very welcoming and peaceful. You can stop by the Wacky Warehouse where they have interesting items to browse/shop along with an open mic area with instruments AND the Pacific Beach radio station. Pick up a PB bumper sticker while your there! In addition, there is a kite shop, Teriyaki take out and cute gift shop attached to the local coffee shoppe. At the end of the road is Pacific Beach State Park, which is the only state park on the west coast with direct beach access. There are always great kites flying for your amusement and you can try your hand at it as well. The locals will welcome you and introduce you to the great beach town that is your home away from home while you are here!
  • We loved this adorable beach house! It was clean, very tastefully decorated, and well stocked with everything we needed for our long weekend stay. Located just a couple of blocks from the beach, we had a great time beach combing, weather watching, and relaxing. Thanks so much. We’ll be back!

  • Great house, perfect for large families or groups!

    Abigail2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy yet spacious and well thought out seaside dwelling with close access to the pacific seaside, and all the amenities one could want to be comfortable for their stay. One of our groups’s favorite elements of the house was the spacious and well laid out kitchen. As a group of food enthusiasts we made excellent use of the ability to have multiple people working side by side in the kitchen at one time. Beyond this, the house’s proximity to the beach meant sunset and sunrise walks were absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend getting down to the beach to enjoy the natural light shows provided each morning and evening. A fine rental, and very affordable for all that it has to offer. I would certainly revisit this home again! Many thanks to our hosts.

    Mattias2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderfully charming cottage located within a short walk to the beach. The decorations are tastefully done and included everything our group needed for a winter outing to the ocean. Razor clamming nearby was also excellent.

  • Our second trip and loved it just as much, if not more than the first time. Nice to have a familiar and cozy place to stay.

    Leslie2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Just as described. A good space for our two families. Nice, comfortable bedrooms and shared space of living room, dining room and good sized kitchen. Jo answered my texts quickly. Helped to have a state park sticker for parking if you need to drive to the beach rather than walk, though it’s a quick walk.

  • This was a great place to stay. The beach decor was really cute and the house was super comfortable. Only a 2 minute walk to the beach and a one mile drive to Seabrook. We would love to stay here again!

The coast of Washington State is unlike others. The sand stretches North South for mile after mile. There is a constant droning of the waves in their never ending quest to invade. This is where you come for solitude, or bring your friends for a family getaway. At Surfcrest Resort, on Copalis Beach just north of Ocean Shores, 64 ideal beach condos are scattered along that coast. Separated from the ocean by undulating dunes it is swift walk out to the water. The shingled homes appear grayed from the constant ocean spray, but are well kept up and comfortable year round. The unique windswept design fits into the landscape like the proverbial hand in a glove. With a year round pool, hot tub, game room and fire pits guests find much to do while they contemplate the remote and quiet location. This is a place for families, or for a couples getaway. Our nightly rates are affordable with only tax, deposit, credit card and modest cleaning fees additional. What a great vacation for the price. The homes are each very much alike in design and function. With one bedroom, plus a loft there is room to sleep 6 in a comfortable configuration. A kitchen comes with oven, stove, microwave, pots, pans and everything to make meals but you can also visit quirky restaurants all up and down the coast. You won't find fancy but you will find tasty. • We had a great time at your place and will definitely be back at a later date. I’d like to personally say thank you for not price gouging on a holiday weekend so my family and I can stay the entire time near the beach with out having to struggle or worry about additional costs. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves tremendously!!! The front staff was extremely helpful and polite. Plus we loved the additional beach toys for our family to use along with the playground across the way. We made some amazing memories here and will return at a later date. Thank you!!!

  • My husband, pup, and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday. The space was clean and spacious enough for the three of us. We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and as well as the winter sunsets! Would definitely recommend.

  • A great place for kids and dogs! Enclosed yard that is open to all cabins. Our unit, Blue Fish Cove, had a gated porch that gave our dogs a place to hang out too.

  • We had a lovely weekend stay at the Time & Tide. The house is spacious and offers great views of the ocean from the third story master suite. Love the semi-secluded location (there are neighbors on both sides) and the trail to the beach, though we wished it was easier to access after dark. The house has super fast WiFi and Netflix for rainy days where you’re stuck inside. The Nest heating system was easy to use and the gas fireplace in the living room was a real treat! We would stay again, thanks!

  • This house was perfect for two dogs and two couples! We loved the views and the house had everything we needed to cook meals and relax. There are three stories, so if you (or your dog) struggle with stairs then maybe consider another place. Beds were comfortable and it was a breeze to check in and out. Would definitely stay here again!

  • Time and Tide is pure perfection. The location is so remote and quiet - as other reviews mentioned- it’s like having your own private beach! The house is amazingly clean and that master suite! WOW! So many great things about this place and no drawbacks. Will definitely be booking again and again and again!

  • Great stay for a weekend at the beach. Our dogs loved it too.

    Jessica2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute cottage, loved not being in Ocean Shores and being able to to go to Ocean Crest for $10 and use the swimming pool is a bonus. If you want to see a beautiful beach drive to Tahola and ask a tribal member for permission to walk their beach it's gorgeous. The Naval resort also has a lounge and cafeteria style restaurant with great prices. Definitely would go back!

  • Great cottage! So close to the beach, and cottage has everything we needed (comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, deck seating) - cell signal is weak/non existent here and WiFi wasn’t very good. Make sure to get restaurant addresses or other info you might want before coming. (It was pretty great to have limited access to phones for the most part! Very relaxing!)
