Cozy A frame cabin in the heart of Neihart. Escape from it all and enjoy the outdoors. There's plenty to do year round, skiing, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, fishing, hiking, dirtbiking and 4wheeling. Its the outdoor enthusiasts paradise!
Just 5 minutes from Showdown, our little cabin is the perfect getaway.
  • Celesta's cabin is a true gem! Not only is the cabin surrounded by pristine and beautiful forest - where outdoor adventures abound - but Celesta has outfitted the place with so many thoughtful touches you'll feel right at home. From the movie collection, to the board games, to the kitchen amenities (plastic bags! condiments! vegetable peelers!), you'll be set up for a cozy, wonderful stay. We just left and already can't wait to visit again.

  • This is a beautiful cabin on a beautiful river and the owners are great people. They make sure every need is met so you have a vacation of a lifetime. The place was amazingly clean and they have everything you need and more. The fireplace makes for a great place to sit and relax with the family after a long day of fishing, site seeing or whatever brings you to Monoarch. We wish all owners are as great as Roger and Julie they make you feel like you have known them for years and make your stay an enjoyable experience.

This home has been in the family for almost 70 years. We affectionately call it the Swan House. It has original woodwork, high ceilings and a "grandma's house" feeling. Though not large, this house has vintage/eclectic type furnishings that are functional and quaint. Our family uses this house for fishing and skiing and for personal stays but you will have the place to yourself while renting. We would love to share the Swan House experience with you.
The Swan house has housed and provided memory making opportunities in the Parisi family for over 60 years. Though a lot of upgrades have happened including new kitchen cabinets and more, it still has a pink kitchen and a green living area. Our Parisi Matriarch, Aunt Adeline painted, but never changed the color scheme all those years. Their last name was Swan. Roy and Adeline never had children and were well know educators in the community for over 50 years. The nostalga of this space can be appreciated and felt. It is a loved filled place. We have received positive feedback from our guests that supports it being a pleasant and clean house with a "grandma's house" feeling. It is not large but ample is set up for comfortable lodging and cooking and eating options for at least 6 people. It is a great location, within walking distance of downtown bars and hospital and spa.
White Sulphur Springs is a rural community with many recreational opportunities or just a great place for a quiet get-a-way. The Spa is a local hot springs with natural therapeutic mineral water and open year around. There are many hiking and fishing and hunting options in the surrounding area. The Showdown ski hill is about 35 minutes away. This community hosts the annual Red Ants Pants musical festival. There is a small park block away from the Swan House and a nice little golf course, a local brewery and restaurants, and food trucks other and eating options. There are two grocery stores, a pharmacy and a medical facility, and a brand new library. There is also a surprising number of retail options for a small community. We are within walking distance of 2 to 3 blocks from the spa and the downtown bars and eating establishments.
  • The Swan House had everything we needed for a fun ski weekend getaway. The house is in the perfect location in town, quiet and walkable. The beds were so comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us. Would definitely recommend!

    Mari2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Becki was very responsive and provided a lot of detail regarding the rental which helpful to our stay. The location is fantastic and easily met our needs, and the check in and out process was easy and convenient.

  • Becki’s place is a perfect spot in White Sulphur. It’s clean, quaint, and cozy. It’s walking distance from restaurants, bars, and the hot springs spa. Would recommend the Swan House!

    Andrea2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • We were very comfortable here. Our kids walked to the hot springs. I felt like I was back in grandma's house.

    Chris2020-01-14T00:00:00Z
  • We are regulars at Airbnb's and it was one of the best stays we have had. The place was very clean, had everything we needed to feel at home, it was like a stay at grandma's house. Really enjoyed the house and all the extra touches that made us feel at home. The neighborhood is quiet and it's walking distance from all attractions in town.

This cabin is home to happy memories! It is our family dream to own a piece of Montana paradise and we are so excited to share it with our guests. We love this fun and cozy retreat- we hope you will too!
One of Montana's best base-camps. Minutes away from Lewis & Clark NF, snowmobile and ATV trails out your back door. Access to hunting, snowmobiling, ATV, fishing, hiking, mountain biking and only 10 minutes from skiing at Showdown! Wood stove, gas heat, Blu-Ray DVD, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Wi-Fi, firepit, gas grill, games, books, deck with views, Neihart Mercantile (across street), Bob's Bar (across street), Lewis & Clark National Forest out the back door and much more. Neihart is located on Highway 89, a scenic highway connecting Glacier National Park and Yellowstone National Park, known as the Kings Hill Scenic Byway. Neihart was named for James L. Neihart, one of a group of prospectors who first discovered minerals in this part of the mountains. The discovery of silver-lead ore came in 1881 and proved to be one of the richest in the Little Belts. The igneous rock in which the ore is found is called pinto diorite because of its red and green spotted appearance. Sapphire mining proved profitable here, and it is estimated that more than $3 million worth of sapphires ranging in color from pale to royal blue were taken from these mines. A town meeting was held in 1882 and the chairman, sitting on a rock, suggested the name of Farragut for the town. No one seconded the motion, but the next suggestion of Neihart was made and accepted. Main Street was laid out to be eighty feet wide and all cross streets sixty feet (from Cheney's Names on the Face of Montana, Mountain Press Publishing Company). This historic mining town is right in the heart of the Little Belt Mountains. Try out the local creeks for some excellent trout fishing, and take the 10-mile drive north of nearby Monarch to Sluice Boxes State Park where hiking, biking, hunting and wildlife viewing are popular. Neihart also boasts excellent creek fishing and recreation opportunities right out your front door. Be sure to visit Memorial Falls and take the nature trail which is handicapped accessible. For winter recreation, snowmobiling, cross-country and downhill skiing visit the Showdown Ski Area, nestled high in the Little Belt Mountains located 25 miles north of White Sulphur Springs near Neihart. There is 1,400 vertical feet of forest-lined trails, open slopes and glades for skiers of every ability.
  • Cozy fun cabin to enjoy with your family or alone. We had a great time being close to Showdown and snowmobiling trails!

The perfect hunters getaway! Four bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and a big living room upstairs in the historic Meagher County Poor Farm. This private apartment is upstairs, there is a key coded entry, and you’ll have all you need for your stay. Bedding, towels, soap, and dishes and utensils are provided, all you’ll need are your clothing and food. Please be aware that this is an apartment within a large farmhouse, your personal space will not be shared.
Located a mile west of town, we have some of the best views around, sunrises and sunsets are great, and we always have wild critters in the fields surrounding our house.
Just about a mile from town, we are close enough to grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants, bars, the spa, and the great outdoors. We have a quiet little corner of the world, great for walks or bike rides down the dirt road, or just a relaxing weekend with a slower pace of life.
  • Great place!

    Cole2019-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very unique place to stay. The building is a older historical building and it’s been turned into a very sweet and comfortable place to stay. The animals on the farm are so tame and I loved that. Aryka has added nice touches like a top of the line Keurig coffee machine and nice bedding. It’s rustic but that agrees with its surroundings. All of the views from the big windows are so beautiful. A great place for a family, hunters, any large group. We were just 3 and loved the extra space. I would stay again.

The Double O is located just 1.5 miles east of White Sulphur Springs off US Highway 12/Mt Highway 89. The house is on 20+ acres so there is plenty of room for snowmobiles, ATV’s, dogs and horses. Please contact me prior to bringing any large animals.
Double O is a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom house with an attached double car garage. The house has 2 queen beds, 4 twin beds and 2 futons . 2 bedrooms are located upstairs and 2 bedrooms are located downstairs. Three of the four bedrooms have a private bathroom. Each room in the house has a separate thermostat. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, cook stove, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, pots, pans, plates, cups and silverware etc. The living room has a smart TV and can easily connect to your smart phone or tablet to streaming your favorite movies. The house has dual band wireless internet so multiple smart devices ( phones, tablets & TV) can be used without interruption. There is a roll top office desk with space for a laptop and any office materials you might bring with you. The office area also has a full size futon for additional sleeping. The game room in the basement is furnished with a regulation size pool table, smart TV and full size futon for more additional sleeping. Spacious, open floor plan loft with two queen-sized beds & very comfortable leather living room furniture. Living room is set up with a brand new 55" 4k Samsung smart TV, with Netflix & WiFi. Large kitchen with seating for 4, ample counter & cupboard space, and stocked with all of the basic cookware you could need, including a new Keurig coffee maker, assortment of K-cups & some light snacks. Foosball table, family-friendly board games & local books included for your enjoyment during your stay.
We are located less than 5 minutes from town, near the golf course, which provides our property with more privacy and "elbow room". However, it is approximately a 1.5 mile walk from town & there are no taxis or Uber drivers, so this might not be the best location if you are interested in bar hopping or having easy walking access to downtown. Loft is on the 2nd floor and there is not an elevator, which means you will have to climb a set of stairs to access the apartment. Any luggage will need to be carried up these stairs as well (see photos on listing for picture of stairs) The ground floor of the building is used by one of our businesses, but is currently used mostly for storage & will not disrupt your stay. Please note, the ground floor of the building is restricted from guest access, with the exception of the entrance door to the loft stairs. We live on the property in a separate building (approximately 50 yards away), and will meet you for check-in & will be available if you need anything during your stay. One week before your arrival we can arrange a check-in time some time between 2 pm - 9pm. Our property has an underground dog fence that will keep our dogs from crossing the driveway between our house & the loft. We ask that you do not cross the fence's boundary line or attempt to access any of the other buildings on the property (further details will be provided at check-in). Unless there is an emergency or you need something from us, we will do everything we can to give you your privacy during your stay.

However, it is approximately a 1.5 mile walk from town & there are no taxis or Uber drivers, so this might not be the best location if you are interested in bar hopping or having easy walking access to downtown. Sunrises & sunsets are especially beautiful, due to the lack of buildings obstructing the views.

The Red Roof house is a destination getaway that has a cozy, relaxed yet distinctly western refinement. We offer renting either the main level or the entire house. White Sulphur Springs is an excellent midway stop between YELLOWSTONE and GLACIER NATIONAL PARKS. We think the Hot Springs Spa has the best healing water in the country. Three mountain ranges offer a myriad of recreational options: Hunting, Fishing, ATV Riding, Hiking, Boating, Skiing, and Snowmobiling. Come stay, relax & enjoy!
The Red Roof can sleep up to 16 guests comfortably, when renting the main level and an upper level. Currently, if you rent the main level, the rate is $139/night Sunday-Thursday and $189/night Friday & Saturday. If you would like to rent the entire house, the rate is $360/night Sunday-Thursday and $400/night Friday & Saturday. There is a door at the bottom of the inside stairway that accesses the upper level. When you rent the main level, this door will be locked. Otherwise, the main level has 4 different entrances: front main door, front patio door, back deck and garage.
The newly remodeled Hot Springs Spa is a natural hot springs spa on par with Baden Baden Germany. It is about 6 blocks to the West. Did we mention 2 Basset Brewery? It's a local brewer of craft beers and is only 2 1/2 blocks away! Great owners, employees, beer and yummy popcorn. White Sulphur also has a Castle, a movie theater, and a 9-hole public links called Arrowhead Golf Course. Local events during the summer: the Red Ants Pants Music Festival, and several street dances in downtown White Sulphur. Over Labor Day Weekend, White Sulphur Springs hosts a PRCA Rodeo. Several Bars are located any where from 2-4 blocks to the West of the Red Roof. l White Sulphur is home to 9 eateries that feature breakfast, steakhouses and pizza, to a tapas restaurant-- all available in the "downtown" area or a short drive away. Local clothing, art studio & other retail shops are also within a 6 block span. For a small, rural town White Sulphur Springs has all the essential amenities... Mountainview Medical Center, a new library, grocery stores, and an 8 am to 2 am convenience store. Being near the center of the state of Montana, all of the state's major cities are within 3 hours and 10 minutes from the Red Roof. The Kings Hill Scenic Byway offers access to hundreds of miles of old mining and logging trails/roads in the mountains and forest, one of them being the Pioneer Heritage Trail. In winter, you'll find some 200 miles of marked snowmobile trails in these woods. There's also the Silvercrest Cross-Country Ski Trail System with 17 miles of groomed cross-country ski trails, just North of Kings Hill Pass. And then just South of the summit of Kings Hill Pass (7,393'), there's the Showdown Montana Downhill Ski Area. Near the Northern end of the Scenic Byway, near Riceville is the Sluice Boxes State Park. This is in the Belt Creek Canyon, an area that saw lots of miners in the old days. The property was acquired by Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks in 1974 and has remained in a "primitive" state ever since. You'll find the remains of several mines, historic cabins and parts of the Montana Central Railroad here. Gipsy Lake, a pristine mountain paradise has every berry imaginable for snacking or jelly making, and non-motorized boats are allowed on the lake. Newlan Creek Reservoir, Bair Reservoir, and Lake Sutherlin are 15 minutes to 1/2 hour away from White Sulphur. Motorized boats are allowed on each of these waterways . The launching site for the Smith River is just Northwest of White Sulphur Springs. Memorial Falls, just South of Neihart is a nice, family-friendly hike. Castletown is an old mining town that sits about 19 miles over the mountain towards Lennep (4-wheel drive recommended). The outstanding Bair Museum is located in the town of Martinsdale, approximately 36 miles from White Sulphur via Hwy 12.

  • It doesn't matter what you "expect" at Suzy's place - your expectation will be far surpassed! My stay at Suzy's was by far my best AirBnb experience yet - the space and location are amazing, I have never encountered a more fully stocked kitchen, check-in and check-out were super simple, and Suzy is a wonderful host. If you need a place to stay in WSS - this is it!

Cute apartment in the heart of the Smith River Valley! 3 bedrooms with another bed in the large livingroom provides lots of space for your group. Located a mile west of White Sulphur Springs puts you close to the Spa, Smith River Launch, hunting and fishing, and the Red Ants Pants music festival. Great views with lots of peace and quiet for a relaxing and restful stay.
The Airbnb apartment for rent has a private entrance, 3 bedrooms (an extra queen partitioned off in the giant living room) 1 bathroom and a kitchen. It is located entirely on the second floor. The door opens to the private staircase. This is an apartment in our home, it is completely private for you and your guests. Any interior doors leading elsewhere are locked from both sides for safety and privacy. While we do live on site, we cannot hear you (thanks to the thick floors and all the plaster walls separating us), so please do not worry about any noise. We are on the opposite side of the house, on the main floor. So go ahead, turn the movie up, don't worry about us! Our house was originally the Poor Farm here in Meagher County. It has 17 bedrooms, but we have taken a few and turned them into kitchens. So it is now is a 3 kitchen, 4 bathroom, 2 living room house, with about 15 bedrooms. With some of the best views around, we get excellent sunrises and the sunsets are picture worthy most evenings! We frequently have bald eagle visits, and sandhill cranes love the fields in the back field. Deer also love to hang out in the field.
  • If you enjoy a peaceful nights rest out in the country this is the right place for you. Very spacious and clean. Beds are comfy, very clean home that takes you back into the 1800’s. Love the story behind this property. Close to town with a great country feel.

  • The Poor Farm is a sweet place to stay if you’re headed to White Sulphur Springs. Aryka was a great host, the place was clean and cozy. Her kids were great as well and played with my daughter and her friend for hours so we can do adult things, like lay around. Do yourself a favor and stay here over the hotel in town. Cheers

Our 3,400 sq. ft. 7 bedroom/4 bathroom home sleeps 14 adults (+ room for extra children) and is surrounded by 2 million acres of Lewis & Clark National Forest! We are located 8 miles from Showdown Ski Area and 2.5 hours from Yellowstone & 3 hours from East Glacier Parks! We have great fly fishing, elk/deer hunting, mountain biking, downhill & cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, & ATV riding on 300 miles surrounding our home. Spacious 7 bedroom mountain lodge surrounded by the Lewis and Clark National Forest!
The wildlife are our neighbors... peaceful! We live at the end of a 1/3 mile long gravel road off the highway bordering the National Forest for 30 miles behind us. Totally quiet setting, you can hear a pin drop. Also totally dark for star gazing at night with a fire pit in the back yard.
  • Dave's place was perfect for our group of 8 to enjoy an early holiday celebration! The open floor plan for the kitchen, dining, and great room was wonderful. It worked great for cooking while some were relaxing on comfy couches. The dining table was large enough for us all to dine together too. And we loved the large windows looking out at new falling snow!

    Denise2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for multiple couples. Location was perfect! We will be back!

    Rae2019-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing home for a large group, we had family members from the age of 6 to 84. Kids and adults all enjoyed our time together.

  • The main living area of this cabin is roomy and allows the entire group a comfortable setting to relax and rejuvenate. The wifi service is good, and that helps since there is no cell phone service in this area. A land line is in place, if needed. The kitchen is well stocked with gadgets as well as seasonings and spices. I loved this place, and plan to return.
