  • Booked it for a break for my girlfriends birthday, she loved it and so did I. The place is stunning, we could happily just chill there and take advantage of the hot tub and fire. The location is great too, we were able to get out and explore some of the gorgeous surroundings. Would happily go back there and would recommend it to anyone

  • Stunning converted wee pig stye. Lots of privacy and a great place to escape for the weekend. Has everything you could ever need with the dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, oven, microwave, decent sized fridge, hot tub etc... Location wise it is great too, very close to lots of picturesque villages which are max 20 minutes away. we went to explore Pwllheli, Portmeirion and Abersoch. The host supplied some very good restaurant recommendations and we ended upas Zinc in Abersoch which we would also thoroughly recommend.

  • Lovely relaxing private location but close to lots of places to explore. The cottage had absolutely everything you could want. Very thoughtful. Very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. Jim responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a fabulous time. Would recommend and stay again definitely :)

  • Great place to stay. Jim was very helpful and attentive. The cottage was very clean and cosy with everything we needed. The spa treatments on offer were very good and are worth booking. Would love to stay again.

  • Lovely weekend break. Perfect location, very peaceful but close enough to restaurants & villages etc. Hot tub is perfect & managed to sit out in it regardless of the storm! Would definitely recommend. Thank you.

  • Lovely little cottage in a peaceful location. Jim and his family are so lovely, they have thought of everything you might need! We can’t wait to return!

    Sam2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect in all ways. We needed a quiet away from it all location with a hot tub and an indoor fire place. Twlc has it all and more. Plus the spa and friendly farm dog too. We are already planning on coming back again and again.

    Karan2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a lovely place to relax. We arrived in the evening and felt welcomed, chilled and 'at home' as soon as we walked through the cottage door. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cottage was warm throughout and the wood burner is a great centerpiece for a cosy night. The private hot tub is a fantastic addition to the cottage, great for star gazing on a cold winters night. Although this property is on the farm, next to the owner's house and other cottages, we really felt it was private and felt like we could have been in a woodland hideaway. Very chilled, relaxing and would recommend and would book again.

This charming cottage is located less than 1 mile from Morfa Nefyn beach, the famous Ty Coch pub and Nefyn Golf club. In the village we also have a shop and Excellent Restaurants.
In the lounge area, we have a gas fire in a large inglenook fireplace which makes a great setting for cosy nights in. There are plenty of blankets and cushions for snuggling up and there is also central heating throughout the home. The lounge area also has a fold out sofa bed. In the large open plan kitchen area is a large acacia table great for entertaining, a large American fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, gas oven, gas hobs and electric grill and a brand new washing machine. The Master bedroom is to be found through a small corridor off the Lounge area. The ensuite has a massage shower with settings to sooth your back and feet after a long day walking. Towels and all bedding are provided. Upstairs you will find the second bedroom and bathroom, the bedroom can currently sleep 3 people, two very sturdy single beds and one fold out steel frame bed ideally for children but I have slept on it myself. The bathroom has a bath, toilet and sink, it is large and great for bathing children. Please be aware that the upstairs space has low ceilings. Outside - We have parking for approximately 3/4 cars, and a large tiered garden to the rear with nice views. This area is secluded and is great for BBQ's and sunbathing, as it is a real sun-trap! Highchair and travel cot are also provided.
Beautiful setting on the Llyn peninsular. Close to all amenities. Great for walking, sight seeing and exploring. The popular Ship Inn restaurant is next door to the property, also a local butchers and shop in the village. Nearby is Nefyn golf course and the stunning Porthdinllaen beach, the perfect setting for the popular Ty Coch Inn (approx 1 mile walk from the property, across a field and the golf course). The Cliffs Inn has a beautiful setting overlooking Morfa Nefyn beach and is within walking distance from the property (under 1 mile). The market town of Pwllheli is only a 15 minute drive away (8 miles) and the popular resort of Abersoch is 12 miles away.
  • The property was exactly as advertised,, I stayed with 5 friends and it was a perfect rural retreat a close walk to the beach. The property is probably more suited to family’s as two beds were camp beds, however for a short stay it was still fantastic!

  • Small, very cozy house for a nice stay in and around Nefyn. Less than 10 minutes walk leads directly to the beach, small purchases directly around the corner. Everything is very nicely and neatly decorated and highly recommended for travelers as a couple, maybe with a child.

  • This cosy cottage is very well equipped and although small the space is well utilised. It is a great location for exploring the beautiful Llyn peninsular with walks on the doorstep. Gill was very helpful, and provided some local goodies for our arrival. The wood burning stove was very welcome for warming up after walks on the coast. Highly recommended.

  • What a beautiful, modern and well appointed apartment which was previously the village post office. All of the fixtures and fittings are of very high quality - Gill and Brian have thought of everything and there are many special touches to surprise as you open cupboards and drawers. Gorgeous cake, wine and milk in the fridge for our arrival. The location is great for exploring the peninsula on foot or by car with a grocery store and places to eat within walking distance. We headed out along the coastal path and walked to the Ty Coch inn on the beach - highly recommended. Storm Dennis was in full force during our stay but this went unnoticed in our warm and cosy accommodation. We will definitely return. Thank you for a lovely long weekend, great value for money. 😊👌

    Sandy2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had simply the best time at this absolutely beautiful apartment. Brian was most helpful when we checked in, showing us around and making sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked, and he made us feel really welcome. We spent the weekend exploring the local area - mainly the beautiful beaches at nefyn, abersoch and aberdaron. Abersoch was our favourite as it had some lovely shops to browse in, lots of choices for lunch - we picked Zinc Bar & Grill which was bustling busy and served lovely food and a gorgeous big sandy beach. We ate at the the Nanhoran Arms Hotel on the first night and couldn't fault the hospitality and food (especially the Hog burger). On the second night we ate at Bombay Joe's a really small curry house that served great food in a lovely homely atmosphere. The added bonus of both the above being how close they were to walk to from the apartment. We would absolutely love to go back and stay again and will be recommending to all our friends and family.

    Katie2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful apartment, tastefully decorated, all mod cons available, very comfortable and ideally placed for cliff top walks and the beach.

    Paul2019-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • Had the best couple of days in Nefyn thanks to Gill and Brian. The apartment looks even better than the pictures, it’s absolutely gorgeous! The little surprises when we arrived really made it extra special and we wish we booked another night as we didn’t want to leave! Everything was spotless when we arrived and the apartment is equipped with everything you need and more. Couldn’t recommend enough! We ate at the Ship Inn located in Edern which was delicious and definitely worth the visit if you stay here.

    Ellie2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic little apartment in a great location. Walking distance to the beach and shop a minute away. Only downside was the street parking but we did manage to find a spot most days. Will definitely return :)

    Michelle2019-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend you staying here if you are in the local area. Gill and Brian were amazing host’s. Warm hospitality, nothing was too much trouble and extremely homely with a welcoming gift which was much appreciated. Thanks again and we will certainly book a further stay when we visit the region again.

    Phillip2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the apartment for a couple of days and it was everything we wanted - great location and lovely welcoming touches.

    Fiona2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gills place is amazing. We were welcomed by herself and Bruce for our entire stay. There was a beautiful cake waiting for us in the house which was a lovely touch. All in all a great stay, right close to nefyn beach and a close drive to lots of other places like abersoch and morfa nefyn. Will definitely be returning

Situated in the village of Nefyn, Tai’r Lon is just a mile from a challenging (but stunning) Golf Course, beautiful beaches and easy reach of Snowdonia National Park. The Cottage is walking distance from the beach. (Sea views from the front bedroom, and mountain views from the back bedroom) The cottage is well equipped, and we provide real tea and real coffee!! There is also a varied magazine subscription delivered, along with games, and books (and Netflix plus WiFi!)
Tai’r Lon is a 200 year stone cottage. There is also an enclosed garden, but note this is not directly behind the cottage (children wouldn’t be able to use alone) This may be the only cottage in Nefyn that offers an Honestly Bar, Drinks Trolley! As if that wasn’t amazing enough, it’s cheap, not for profit and surplus money goes to the local RNLI life boat station *the drinks trolley maybe removed if abused, and bar bills are not settled before departure
Nefyn is a local Welsh fishing village. with the Rivals, and mountains surrounding the coastal villages. Morfa Nefyn is just one mile away, which has exceptional beaches, and a famous Golf Course.
  • Great spot for exploring, it has everything you need as a base but also happy to retire back there after a day at the beach of which there are plenty. We will be back!

  • A cute and cosy cottage in a great location. Close to the beach and a quick drive to the Cliffs and the Ty Coch Inn. We also visited Abersoch easily and enjoyed coming back to Sams home each night to relax. Would highly recommend and hope we will be back again!

  • Lovely house with a fabulous feature fireplace. Very cosy and warm. Beds comfy and good shower. Easy walk to the beach and good location to explore the Lyn Peninsula. The place was spotless and there were lovely touches ( selection of tea, coffee etc) and an honesty bar (which we didn't use but noticed was well stocked) Really easy booking and key entry.

  • Perfect base for exploring the Llŷn Peninsula. Warm and cosy to return to after a day travelling around the local beaches during a very rainy Autumn stay.

    Jonathan2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay in the cottage where every last detail was thought of. The cottage was spotless, beautifully presented and ideally located to explore the Llyn Peninsula. We felt very cosy in the rainy evenings and found the whole experience relaxing. As a host, Sam was amazing and answered requests really quickly, especially as we booked last minute. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again and highly recommend the experience!

  • My husband and I stayed here for two nights to attend a family party at The Nanhoren Hotel. The cottage had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Pamela made us feel very welcome and even left some welshcakes and wine as a gift. Great location only 5-10 mins drive from some beautiful beaches. Great find and a comfortable stay.

  • Lovely accommodation in an idyllic setting. The house was well equipped and spotless. The views were amazing and there were stunning walks from the doorstep. I stayed here for a couple of days recharging with my dog and found it to be perfect for exploring the Llyn Peninsula and would love to visit again with my husband. The hosts were welcoming and attentive and Pam was prompt with replying to questions before I arrived. All mod cons with the peace of the countryside and the seaside on your doorstep. A winning combination.

  • We have just returned from a lovely few days away. The house is very well equipped and there were lots of thoughtful touches such as cake on arrival and milk in the fridge. Communication was easy with Pamela responding to messages very quickly. The perfect place for a peaceful get away with beautiful views and lovely walking opportunities.

  • If you want a gorgeous night place, that’s both relaxing and peaceful but only a stones throw from some beautiful scenery this is your place. Absolutely spotless place with a lovely touch of a chocolate cake on arrival. Would definitely stay again.

  • Such a lovely stay. John has thought of everything which makes this place a home from home. Really cosy space with everything a couple could need for a break in wales, we loved coming back after a long day of exploring wales to this cosy, well decorated annexe. The parking space was great. Would recommend the cliffs pub about 10 minute walk away and the ship which is about 15 minute walk away, great meals in both. Lovely 20 minute walk to the ty coch in also. Really great base for exploring Wales.

  • Stunning location, a wonderful view to wake up to! The weather was stormy but it only made it better! Felt very cosy inside and would definitely stay again

    Hannah2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • ‘Room with a view’ WOW was what I said to my dog when I stood on the decking looking out to sea at The nest, an amazing panoramic vista was in front of me and will take your breath away when you visit this very well presented property. Helen & Tom were amazing hosts, great communication and even got me a slightly earlier check in as I arrived in a storm in February. The open plan design of this property is tastefully laid out and cupboards full of Everything you need for your break. The weather was stormy and cold but the temperature inside was lovely and a very comfortable bed was waiting after a day walking on the beach and costal path. I was only there for 3 nights but didn’t want to leave on the last day and I know we’ll be back at another time to take in the stunning views at The Nest. If your looking for a break at a special place that will provide memories for ever then please just book ‘The Nest’, you won’t be disappointed.

    David2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn’t recommend this place more. Great spot with some lovely views and walks along the coast path. Totally perfect for a relaxing and secluded break away. Make sure you take the time to see some of the fantastic sunsets that The Nest is perfectly positioned for, and then look out for shooting stars on a clear night! Some really thoughtful touches by Helen as well, will definitely return.

    Ed2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing, cozy and stylish - and the view is breathtaking. I stayed at The Nest for a long weekend for a recharge, to do some reading, drawing and walking on the beach and it was wonderful- I couldn't have picked a better place. Whether you want to be on your own for a relax or have a romantic break for two - The Nest is perfect! ❤

    Petra2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We love The Nest it was our second time visiting in the last year, the views are breath taking and The Nest is equipped with everything you will need and the bed is super comfy. It's the perfect little getaway we can't wait to come back. Thank you so much for having us!

    Niamh2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous views and a great place to escape. Absolutely perfect to relax and recharge for a few days

    Tim2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Just arrived home after spending 4 nights at The Nest over Christmas. What a great find. You couldn’t ask for a better location with the most incredible views. Everything was perfect for our break with gifts for our dog Norman along with mince pies , a crusty loaf, jam, butter and hot chocolate etc.... Reading other reviews we knew it wasn’t going to be a large space but it was more than we expected as it was really well thought out. It was spotlessly clean and everything was of a high quality. The bed was really superb along with the view from the bed. Would love to stay again perhaps in the Summer only the beach isn’t dog friendly then unfortunately. Thank you Helen for letting us enjoy the Nest which made for the perfect Christmas for us.

  • A very comfortable place to stay, we were snug as rain and wind lashed. A great place for a relaxing break.

  • Amazing location! This property is in the middle of nowhere so if you’re expecting great phone reception - don’t. This is the perfect place to reconnect and spend time with loved ones without technology! Ann was a great host and left us sausages, Welsh cakes and local beers. It had all kitchen supplies needed to make yourself a great breakfast. Really stylish furniture in the living space as well especially for an old cottage. She gave us great recommendations on where to go locally. The shower isn’t great as it goes from burning hot to really cold, but it was a great place to spend a weekend.

    Hannah2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is amazing real cozy country cottage in a breathtaking place. Everything you need is provided. After a busy day sightseeing it was a pleasure to come back to. Just an add on the bed is SO comfortable!!!!!!!!

    Judith2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing stay, the hosts are a lovely couple who made us feel very welcome. The little touches such as the fresh Sausages, Eggs, and local beer impressed us, they also all tasted amazing. The quirky interior of the property also impressed us, the living room has a tall ceiling, with a lovely colour, providing a traditional cottage feel. We landed very late in the evening due to traffic on the way, as much as I can imagine this was an inconvenience to our hosts (sorry again), they still made us feel very welcome. The kitchen is packed with everything you would need, and there is a really good Spar supermarket close by which stocked some really good products/fresh produce. Without a doubt, we would return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A wooden chalet with rolling countryside views set in an idyllic garden location in the small village of Edern, on the Llyn Peninsula. Within walking distance from the famous Ty Coch Inn and Nefyn Golf Club, Edern has a small butchers shop and a renowned gastropub. Our village benefits from a regular bus service which can take you into Pwllheli for some unique shopping and a weekly market. The Peninsula offers some wonderful beaches and villages less than half an hours drive away.
The chalet offers a substantial living room with a flat screen television with freesat viewing and ample seating. There is a gas fire which effectively warms the whole chalet with an oil filled radiator as an additional heat source. We have 2 bedrooms off the living room, 1 double bedroom with bedside cabinets and side lights, hanging rail and chest of drawers. The twin bedroom has bedside tables with bedside lights, hanging rail and chest of drawers. There is room under the beds for luggage. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, sink and a 2 burner gas stove. We have a gas boiler to heat hot water for both kitchen and bathroom There is a folding table suitable for light use, with a small selection of family games, playing cards and books. The bathroom offers a pedestal sink, toilet and walk in shower. Double doors open out onto the garden with outside dining and bbq.
The Llyn Peninsula is renowned for its outdoor living, offering wonderful walks, hidden beaches and coves with dramatic scenery. The Peninsula measures 7 miles at its widest point which means that we are no more than 20 minutes from most resorts. With a variety of wildlife, we often see foxes crossing the field at sunset. The local beach you can regularly watch the seals fishing, porpoises and dolphins often delight. There are a number of amazing eateries both locally and a short drive away.
  • A wonderful cosy and comfy place to stay. The chalet had everything we needed. A great location with an easy walk to the coastal path and a pub only 2 minutes away. Lisa came back to us immediately when we reported the gas bottle had run out and helped us out with a loan of an extra heater. We had a lovely relaxing break and hope to return very soon. Thanks Lisa and Marc.

  • What a great place Marc and Lisa have. Beautifully clean and tastefully decorated it's the perfect place for a getaway to the stunning Llyn Peninsula. The location in Edern is perfect for walking along the coastal path and of course the world class beach at Porthdinllaèn. • Great chalet with all you’ll need for a comfortable stay in the beautiful Llyn peninsula. Immaculately clean and comfortable with lovely decor and touches, that helped make our stay in cold late December fabulous.

  • Clean and cosy chalet. A great base to explore the local area.

    Helen2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Utterly outstanding. Marc and Lisa were fantastic hosts from start to finish, providing local tips and friendly advice of where to visit with our two young boys. Marc even took us to the local fire station which, I am sure, our eldest will be talking about for a long time to come! The chalet is immaculate and well kitted out with everything you'll need. The location is stunning; hills and beaches in every direction. Highly recommend a walk on the beach to Ty Coch Inn for some stunning views - and local ale. Already excited at the prospect of returning in the near future. Thanks again!

  • The cabin is surprisingly spacious and is very clean throughout, with a kitchen area, sitting room, shower/toilet and two bedrooms. The hosts live a few metres away and are very helpful and friendly. The cabin is located in a quiet, unspoilt part of the Lleyn Peninsula and makes a great base to explore all the beautiful surrounding countryside and beaches. A really memorable 3-day visit - thank you!

    Martin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Marc and Lisa were amazing hosts, very helpful and quick to respond. The accommodation was perfect for our stay and lovely and clean.

  • The accommodation is in a lovely garden with amazing chickens wandering around, and surrounded by a prize lawn. It is clean, comfortable, compact, fun, and delightful. It is perfect for exploring the Lleyn peninsular. We had two full gorgeous days there. The local butcher not only has great meat, but most other essential items. it's just 50 yards round the corner. The whole experience was brilliant.

  • “The Dog” cottage was absolutely perfect. From the quaint wooden beams to warming underfloor heating, everything is covered for a cosy stay in Wales. We also loved the spa. We both had full body massages and used the hot tub, which despite the horrible weather, was fantastic! We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone. The hosts were so attentive and responded so quickly to any of our needs. We also loved Jax! Gorgeous dog!

  • We stayed at the Dog House cottage and loved every minute of it! Immaculately kept with exceptionally welcoming hosts, we spent our time in the hot tub, exploring the huge range of castles in North Wales or curled up in front of the fire place. The Cottage itself is cozy yet spacious, easy to warm up with the log fire place and with a comfortable bedroom with en-suite modern bathroom. It is a short walk over to the hot tub but there are changing rooms in the spa if you don’t fancy doing the walk in swim wear. Jax the dog is very friendly and roams the farm looking for friends! We can recommend it enough and look forward to staying again.

  • Perfect location, close to the beach. Warm, cosy static caravan with additional awning for extra. We are family of 5 stayed for 2 night, found that place very pleasant for getaway short break before school starts. We had everything that we need even at windy weekend and enjoyed barbecue at the back. Jane was quick to reply and always on the phone when needed. Many thanks.

  • Its a small private caravan behind the host’s own house but its completely private and secure. No one will disturb you. Cosy and very warm. Perfectly clean.

    Raveena2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Jane's caravan is great place if you want a private place. It's not on a park but situated in the grounds of Jane's house but out of sight and with it's own area. There is a platform to the rear of the van with views towards the sea, benefiting from evening sunsets. The caravan has an enclosed extension which was handy for us getting coats/boots on and off during our 'storm dennis' visit over February half term. The caravan has plenty of heaters and we found it quite toasty given the weather! It's by no means a modern caravan, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is well equipped. We had no problem cooking a nice paella. Jane had left out a nice pack of cookies for our arrival which was a nice touch. Thanks.

    Andy2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The caravan was great! We rode our storm Ciara in it and it didn’t fly away! Nice comfortable space for small groups. Had a great enclosed porch as well.

  • Amazing stay. Caravan clean and warm even in January. Incredible location and outdoor space. Jane was so helpful and had literally thought of everything!

  • Stephens cottage is a great base for exploring the llyn peninsula and we hope to be back soon. Tastefully renovated with lovely features and a superb garden if you get the weather. Quick communication with Stephen, great host!

  • Absolutely gorgeous, spacious house. Lovely garden and fantastic location for walking down to the beach. Would definitely come back.

    Natalie2019-09-19T00:00:00Z
  • Stephen's place is lovely, and such a great location being close to the beach.

    Lydia2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in August over a brilliantly sunny bank holiday weekend. The house is great and provides all necessary amenities plus some great additions like a washer and dryer. All furnishings are of a high quality and plenty of space for all guests in the large lounge and dining room. The house is on a corner of a busy road so the entrance for parking is easy to miss but once found we had no problems and had plenty of space for our 2 cars. The garden is enclosed though so the main road didn’t bother us and we made good use of the bbq on a balmy evening. Nefyn itself is small but the village Spar has everything you’d ever need and everyone we met in the area was really friendly.

    Mel2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don't do this accommodation justice. It is smacks of quality throughout. Nice decor and top notch facilities. The rooms are spacious and downstairs stays lovely and cool, even when outside temperatures soar. If you're lucky enough to have the fantastic weather we had, the outside space is perfect. The mature gardens that surround the house give a nice feeling of separation from the road outside and the patio area is perfect for a BBQ or a cold drink, after a day on one of the many local beaches. There really is everything you'll need, no matter how long you decide to stay for.

The project to convert the Pigsty in 2016 kept us busy to say the least but we're very happy with the way it turned out! The pigsty is perfect for couples and is dog friendly. Heated by a huge 12KW wood burning stove with a modern bathroom and kitchen, satellite TV, DVD player and in-ceiling speakers, oh and there's limited wi-fi if the wind is blowing in the right direction!
Converted pigsty, really is different to anything else you'll come across!
    Very rural area.
  • Very cosy when you get the wood burner going. Quiet location not too far from any of the beaches. Enjoyed our short break very much.

    Gwyn2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay and the cottage was really nice!

    Lowri2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Pigsty is a lovely place to get away from everything! Perfect for 2 with enough room for a dog too. The log burner heats the place up nicely but comfy warm pyjamas for the next morning definitely come in handy. We felt like we’d completely gotten away from everything even though the location is great being only a short drive to the coast in pretty much all directions for some lovely walks. We had the best little weekend get away so thank you!

    Kate2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This place is fantastic. Gorgeous space and area and surrounds was stunning - highly recommend.

    Lisa2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely stay at the Pigsty. A beautiful location and close to everywhere we wanted to explore. Was nice and cosy with the log-burner. Would stay again.

    Katy2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, plenty of power in the fire to heat the whole space. Easy to find! Thanks

    Lee2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at the Pigsty, lovely views and surroundings. Very cold, but to be expected around this time of year - the log burner was great to use! Pryderi was really helpful with directions and we appreciated the local brochures and walking tips. Ideal stay for a peaceful break!

Our cosy, yet spacious pod is a great holiday retreat for any couple. Set on the Llyn Peninsula with great destinations at its doorstep with spectacular waw factor views all around. Within a short walking distance from the pub, and only a short drive away from Pwllheli, Nefyn, Abersoch and many other villages which host some of Wales' most beautiful beaches. We would love to welcome you to our amazing part of Wales.
The Luxury Glamping Pod is set on our field which is in front of the house, there is a decking area for your own use where you can sit, relax and enjoy the best breathtaking waw factor views around, right across Cardigan bay to the south and across the hills further along the peninsula to the south west. You will have your own toilet and shower room which are a few feet away from the pod, and a small kitchen area which has your basic needs e.g. kettle, toster, microwave, fridge, drinking glasses, mugs, plates, bowls, cutlery, pyrex dish 1.4L and a bottle and can opener. We also supply complimentary tea and coffee, a small milk jug, toilet rolls, shower gel and hand soap. The pod it's self is warm and cosy with underfloor heating if you need it, you can wake up to the sounds of nature in the king size bed which is really comfy with a large window looking towards Cardigan bay, it has a double seater sofa a table and two chairs. Towels and bed linen is supplyed. This is a well thought out little complex. We also have one other shepherds hut on our grounds which is also on air bnb.
Llithfaen is a small village on the Llyn Peninsula in Gwynedd. It is located around 3 miles north east of Nefyn and lies just south west of Yr Eifl mountains on the B4417 road from Llanaelhaearn to Nefyn. Llithfaen is one of the highest villages on the Peninsula this gives the village some of the best views around, right across Cardigan bay to the south and across the hills further along the peninsula to the south west. Llithfaen has a strong community spirit and is very proud of its welsh heritage and welsh language as over 70% of people on the peninsula speak welsh as a first language every day, and there is a welsh language and heritage center Nant Gwrtheryn just up the road 2 miles well worth a visit. Two businesses in the village are run by the community The Tafarn y fic pub, and the village shop Siop Pen y Groes sells your every day essentials. There used to be three quarries close to the village the last of which Chwarel Carreg y Llam closed in 1963. The highest point on the Llyn (spectacular views) Yr Eifl, this iconic mountain comprises three peaks, on the third summit of Yr Eifl stands the ancient hill fort of Tre Ceiri this fort is said to be one of the most inpressive monument in Wales, on a clear day the views from Yr Eifl summit are awesome, there is sea surrounding the Llyn Peninsula, to the south Cardigan bay to the north Caernarfon bay, and to the west the Irish sea, the east view is of the mountains of snowdonia and on a clear day the view from the top are extensive and you will see over to Ireland.
  • Beautiful location, with stunning views. Very helpful scrapbook and local knowledge. Thanks for a lovely night away

Bethan sent us very clear instructions, so it was easy to find, even in the dark. She left us a bottle of wine too, which was lovely to share on our anniversary- very thoughtful. Would stay again.

  • We had a fantastic stay, the flat was great, clean and homely. Superb location for exploring beaches

    Louise2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • We chose Pen Y Berthan as a base for our reminiscent trip to Tudweiliog (first time in almost 30 years), as the alternative was The Lion B&B close by and this was way over our budget. Price aside, this was a great choice as we found a really comfortable place to stay and unwind for a few days. I was travelling with my older parents and it was a perfect spot for us. Very short walk to the post office (and shop) and The Lion pub for lovely food and a few glasses of Eliot's Winter Warmer! Even my dad with Parkinson's and dementia could manage to walk it. We brought our own food (cooked breakfast items, fajita box and ingredients, picnic-style snacks) and only ate out twice as the self-catering facilities were top notch. Bit of a squeeze to get our legs under the dining table, but was only a minor problem for my dad. Sitting room was so cosy - having the electric fire on with the doors open heated the whole apartment in no time at all. DVD player built into the TV. Bedrooms were clean and beds comfortable. Bathroom, too is nicely done out and did the job. We successfully found our old caravan site nearby and took a few jaunts to Phwllheli, Morfa Nefyn and Abersoch in the car. The rest of the time we simply relaxed in the apartment - something we wouldn't have been able to do in a hotel. It truly felt like a home from home. Bethan, the host, was quick to respond to my questions and communications and she was kind enough to offer us a late check-out on the day we left. I would love to revisit and do some proper walking in the area - The Llyn peninsula really is a beautiful part of the UK.

This ground floor bedroom opens onto a patio with access to large gardens. There is a kettle & toaster in the room & a fridge outside the room. There is a private shower room and toilet next door. The house sits at the bottom of Garnfadryn in the centre of Pen Llŷn, 10 miles from Pwllheli, 5 miles from Nefyn & 10 miles from Abersoch. Ideal for exploring the many beautiful beaches around Pen Llyn. The famous Ty Coch pub and golf course at Porth Dinllaen are 5 miles from the house.
We are happy to leave you to your own devices or help you get the most out of your stay, it’s up to you! As this is a room in our house, we will be around, looking after our chickens and managing the garden.
The area is famous for its beauty and vibrant Welsh culture. The golf course at Morfa Nefyn is spectacular, even if you don't play - a walk through the course to the famous Ty Coch pub on the beach is well worth the effort. Ofcourse, there are the beaches and we are happy to point you in the direction of some of our favourites. The hamlet of Dinas is situated near the foot of Garn Fadryn Mountain. Ruins of an Iron Age hill fort remain at the summit, which provides spectacular views over the Llŷn Heritage coast towards the Isle of Anglesey and as far as the Wicklow Mountains on a clear day. The popular resorts of Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy reach. We are also only 50 minutes drive from Snowdon. • A real hidden gem. Beautiful room in beautiful grounds. The hosts provided a vast range of food for breakfast. We had our own bathroom and own fridge, kettle and toaster. Very comfortable bed and many thoughtful touches to make our stay very comfortable and pleasurable. Our hosts gave us plenty of tips about things to do and places to eat. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

This home-from-home is a paradise for walkers, families and dog-owners with amazing views across the mountains and coast. The cottage has wifi, satellite TV and dishwasher. Outside there are large gardens and it's only a short walk to the village pub and shop. It's a great base for exploring the beaches of the Llyn Peninsula and the villages and mountains of Snowdonia.
The cottage is at the end of a private lane, making it very secluded and also safe for children to play. It is comfortable, well-equipped and full of character. There are amazing views from every window and also from the beautiful gardens. Lots of extra details inside like books, games and DVDs make it a real home-from-home. It's also a great place for dogs with a large, secure, lawned back garden.
There are a number of beautiful beaches within easy reach, from the long sandy bay at Nefyn, to the wild pebbly beach at Nant Gwrtheyrn. From the front door you can walk up and around the Rivals Mountains. We have information in the cottage about the many places you can visit including the boating paradise of Abersoch, the historic castles of Criccieth and Caernarfon, the beautiful village of Beddgelert and the mountains of Snowdonia.
  • Amazing views, beautiful garden and loads of helpful suggestions about places to visit. Would definitely recommend staying here.

  • We had a great time staying here. Planning our day trips was easy with the helpful information Jane put together. The house was exactly what we were after, a traditional cosy cottage. Our evenings were spent by the fire watching period dramas and playing board games. Such a nice break away.

    Gemma2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great break at Pedwar Gwynt! Very windy and cold - but it is November! Inside the house the Lounge area was homely and we made use of the log fire in the evenings - but I would still suggest taking blankets and warm clothing if you are staying in winter!! The TV and WiFi was great for relaxing in the evenings. The view from the kitchen/dining room was stunning. Kitchen was well equipped and had anything we needed for cooking. The washing machine was a bonus too when things got a bit muddy. The king size bed was comfy and spacious! The outdoor areas were lovely - but word of warning if you have a medium-large dog - they would not be sufficiently enclosed. I kept our dog on lead as she could easily have gotten out of the garden spaces. Also you are in close proximity to sheep another thing to be aware of with some dogs. Location is great, close enough to some of the bigger supermarkets and there's also a local shop just down the lane. We explored places such as Bedgellert, Aber Falls. Close to some nice beaches too. Overall we had a lovely stay with no major issues! Thank-you! Beth, James and Roxy.

  • Jane was a wonderful host. Really clear instructions & directions to get to the cottage. The cottage really is idyllic with the most glorious views even with the bad weather we had. It didn’t matter as we had a cosy bolt hole to keep dry & warm in! The cottage is perfectly equipped for a family & dog with amazing walks right from the front door. One of our daughters is learning the piano so was delighted to be able to get some practice in. We’ll be back! Xx

    Carrie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great few nights in this cosy cottage. It has everything you need, the large fridge was great for stocking on food, and having a washing machine and tumble drier was great for our family. So many good walks locally, and it's local enough to some great beaches and towns. We would certainly look to go again.

    Sean2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cozy cottage with fantastic views. Great place to explore the area from. Jane is a great host.

    Cora2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jane’s cottage is great. It has everything we needed and the view from the garden is amazing and is lovely to sit out in (with a glass of wine!). The local area has a shop and pub and some good walks. It’s not too far from the beach and some nice restaurants too. Everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly. We didn’t meet Jane but she gave us all the information we needed and check in was not an issue. Thanks for a great stay!

Our Horse Box has been lovingly converted into an amazing glamping experience that you'll never forget; we believe she's amazing. The views of Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula are second to none. Sit outside, star gazing in front of your very own fire pit and watch the sun go down, we also provide a BBQ and a picnic table. Sleeps 4; one double above the "cab" and the sofa forms a small double. There's a kitchen, a shower, a composting toilet and a 60" projector for streaming movies or music.
There's nothing like this space - it really is unique! We converted a horse box into an amazing space that sleeps up to 4 people. Our Horse Box has been lovingly converted into an amazing glamping experience like nothing else! Not only is the horse box amazing and finished to an extremely high standard the views from here are second to none. Sit outside, star gazing or in front of your very own fire pit and watch the sun go down over Snowdonia and the Llyn Peninsula. Gaze at the stars in front of a campfire, relaxing, cooking and appreciating the countryside around you. Outside the horse box you'll find a decked area, a picnic table, fire pit as well as a BBQ; everything that you'd need to get Away From It All. The horse box sleeps 4; one small double above the "cab" and the sofa pulls down to form a small double. The lorry is therefore perfect for couples or small families. In addition there's a small kitchen in the lorry and a shower and the toilet is in front of the lorry on the outside. Unwind in front of the 60 inch projector at night, streaming your favourite movies from your phone or ipad into the projector or simply listen to the radio or your favourite album on the Bluetooth speakers that are built into the lorry. There's a woodburner as well, make a cosy fire on those nights where the sun doesn't come out, oh and we provide the first nights fire wood.
The views, location and this experience will be unbelievable!
  • We had a lovely time staying in the horse box! The location was amazing and the evenings were so cosy with the fire! The only problem we had was with the water pump which seemed to kill the battery straight away and meant no water for showers. Other than that it was a perfect stay!

    Holly2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Location is INCREDIBLE!! Directions to the place and any correspondence with the owners was great The horse box itself is so cosy, the view out and over is awesome and just a very good stay. Super clean, nice amenities

    Daniel2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic weekend away with my husband. Detailed directions and lovely location. Such a unique place to stay and would highly recommend. Nice shower and cooking facilities and lovely little wood burner inside which was fab as it did get quite cold. We made good use of the outdoor fire pit and on one evening we had fish and chips by the fire on the picnic table watching the sunset, such beautiful views. We were a little worried about the electricity as the box was powered by solar panels but we had no problems at all and didn’t need to keep an eye on the power used. The bed is a little bit awkward to get to but it was an experience! Thank you so much!

    Jemma2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely great place. Views are amazing and the horsebox is really cosy

    Chris2019-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great little getaway in a remote location, only problem was welsh rain! But the place was cosy when the log burner was running!

    Josh2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Would definitely go back to this place amazing views

    Lorna2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great weekend in the horsebox ....what makes this place special are those views... incredible!!! The box itself is perfect for a weekend ...it might be small but it has everything you need. We had an Issue with the water but pryderi was there to sort it straight away . The projector and the log burner are great touches . It does get cold in there so make sure you take enough blankets and warm clothes . The toilet takes some getting use to and might not be for everyone . We left the cool box on over night and within 4 hours we seemed to use the electric so be warned and don’t use if not required . The road to the box is a bit rough but perfectly adequate to get to the box . We encountered some big cows on the way back one night but a beep got them out the way . The box has nothing round it so perfect for a peaceful stay ...you could literally see every star in the sky on a clear night because there’s no light pollution . The shower was great and nice and warm . Tea and coffee were provided and everything needed to get you started . Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again ...enjoy the peace !

  • This is impossible to fault, it was perfect. Beautiful views, stunning. The horse box is extremely well thought out and created, and very cosy. Host was brilliant, quick to respond and helpful. Also extremely good value.

Beautiful setting with sea views on the Llyn Peninsula . Full of character, cosy and comfortable after a thoughtful modernisation creating an ideal holiday retreat situated right on the Wales coastal footpath. Close to Nant Gwrtheryn, sandy beaches of Nefyn and Morfa Nefyn golf course. Ideal location for exploring by foot, bike or car. With off street parking, private patio, garden and BBQ area. The entire 3 bed terraced house sleeps 6 and is tastefully furnished and equipped throughout.
The accommodation includes use of the entire house with 3 Bedrooms and offers stunning seaviews and open countryside. Bed 3 is the loft room and is accessed by a narrow tread staircase. Contains single bed with pull out guest bed with stunning views to front and rear. Bedroom 2 has a double bed and views to the rear country side. Master Bedroom 1 looks out across the sea and has kingsize bed. All bedrooms are fitted out with ample storage facilities and finished to an excellent standard. The bathroom is modern and fresh and has combined bath and shower facility. Downstairs the living room is the place to relax with full view of the sea from the bay window. With cozy log burner for those cooler evenings. The dining area seats 6 comfortably and again in colder months the fully working woodburning Rayburn offers extra warmth and for the more adventurous a second cooking range offering a more authenticate Welsh feel if this is your thing. Please advise if you intend to use the Rayburn as I will give some basic instructions if not familiar with its use and log bags are available at an additional nominal charge. The kitchen is fully fitted with ceramic hob and electric oven, microwave oven, 2 fridges, freezer, dishwasher and ample storage cupboards to stock up for your self catered stay. Ample private parking and vehicle access is via side driveway and foot access is also easiest via the back door as negates use of any steps up to front door. The small patio to the front is the ideal spot to watch the beautiful sunsets and includes bench seat and small 2 seater table and chairs. The rear garden includes use of BBQ, a large decking area which seats 6 comfortably. Sea view is still available from decking area plus mountain views to the rear and also great location for night time star gazing. We do accept pets and access is restricted to ground floor only and a small additional cleaning fee of £10 will apply. Please advise before arriving if intending to bring any pets as of yet AirBnB cannot cater for this charge. Step free access is available to the rear of the property using the driveway.
Pistyll, is a small hamlet located on the north western Llyn Peninsula and just 100 metres from the Wales Coastal footpath, just a short walk further to explore the rugged yet spectacular pebble beach of Pistyll. To the rear of Gwelfor are views towards open countryside of equal splendour and especially on a clear night rear garden offers great star gazing opportunities. The jewel in the Crown at Gwelfor is sitting out on the front patio watching the stunning sun sets. The view is equally special from inside in the bay window and perhaps in the winter with a roaring log fire behind you. Gwelfor is an ideal holiday location just 3 miles from Nefyn and Nefyn beach and just little further the extensive sands of the beautiful Morfa Nefyn beach and its prestigious Golf Course. Pistyll is situated in a very quiet and rural part of North Wales and offers spectacular yet rugged coastline on the north west side of the peninsula. Yet only 20 minute drive is the busy market town of Pwllheli and the popular tourist village and boating paradise of Abersoch. A little further afield are the historic castles of Criccieth and Caernarfon, the beautiful village of Beddgelert and the mountains of Snowdonia all within easy reach by car from Pistyll. Heading further south , Aberdaron offers the final destination on the peninsula where you can take in summer a boat trip to explore the Bardsey island the destination of the pilgrimages many centuries ago. A perfect location to explore the area and enjoy the beautiful welsh country side and many stunning beaches and coves with various tourist attractions all nearby. At Gwelfor you are surrounded by the sea and countryside and it is just 11 miles coast to coast with Aberdaron the last stop on the Peninsula and a relatively easy cycle ride using marked national cycle routes 41 and 42. Just 3 miles drive away is the lost village of Nant Gwrtheryn, a village from by gone ages with the most spectacular decent down a steep roadway. It’s a must visit and enjoy the cafe at to beach front open throughout summer days. It is a very popular wedding venue and we often hosts guests attending the weddings held there. You can walk across the road to the Church of St Buenos a small church open to the public which is reputed to be dated as far back as 1100’s and a stop off point during the pilgrimage trail to Bardsey Island. Don’t mistake it for the small church right across the road to the right which is now sadly no longer in use. It is walkable using Welsh Coastal Path but very steep at times and views are well worth the effort. There are plenty of beaches to explore and by far a favourite is Whistling Sands or Porth Oer (in Welsh) along coast towards Aberdaron. Here you can access beach by foot only which means limited water vessels and beautiful sand is its attraction which at times will squeak as you walk across it, hence its name whistling sands. Of course no visit to the Peninsula would be complete without a trip on the public footpath across the famous Golf Course at Morfa Nefyn to the Ty Coch Inn at Porthdinllaen Beach near the Lifeboat Station. Pistyll has seen very little change over the years and often people don't even notice as they drive through, but we have come to love it more and more and it is the peace and quiet that is its attraction during both summer and winter months. The old miners terraced row form the main part of this tranquil character of Pistyll and we hope Gwelfor provides you with a comfortable and yet affordable stay on 'Pen Llyn'.
  • Mike and Stevie's place is so cosy and welcoming. Great location and lovely view. Short drive away from some beautiful walks. Would definitely recommend - plenty of room too, there were only two of us (and two small dogs) but plenty of room for more!

    Louisa2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful spot with an incredible view. The house was warm and cosy and very comfortable. We stayed for a weekend and were able to go on a lovely walk along the coast. Would definitely recommend this place. What a gem.

    Aimee2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic winter break. Warm fire, comfy beds, brilliant location and attentive hosts. Mike and Stevie have the perfect getaway spot. All made even better by that view from the bay window... Wow!

    David2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely place to stay- both the accommodation and the hospitality of Mike who checked we were settled at every opportunity. We arrived during a big storm but this didn’t cause a problem as the house was warm and compfy and wood set up for the woodburner. There was lots of information about where to visit and the view of the sea was spectacularly. We had a great break and will definitely be booking again. I would absolutely recommend this home from home to anyone.

    Fionula2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • This will be your home away from home - a large, clean, welcoming house equipped with everything you need, whether you are staying for one night or one month! You will enjoy sitting at the bay window with the seaview, having long walks on the beach, and if you are "lucky" like me & my friends were, you'll be warm, cosy & relaxed in front of the fireplace while a massive storm is raging outside. Mike has kept in touch throughout our stay, making sure we are ok and providing tips on where to go & what to do - very helpful when you only have less than 48hrs to explore the area. We are hoping to return in the summer because we all fell in love with this place. Thank you, Mike & Stevie, for great hospitality!

    Barbara2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for 6 nights over NYE. We were really lucky as the weather was amazing and found the area to be really dramatic and peaceful in winter. At first we were hesitant to book because we prefer remote properties where we’re guaranteed not to run into people, and we knew this property was street level and between other properties and there’d be neighbours. But actually it was very quiet and we were rarely aware of others being around. We were delighted by that! I think what’s great about the property is that it suits all tastes. Within short driving distances you can be in tiny ancient villages, modern seaside towns, or walking along secluded mountains or coastline. There’s even so much to see and do from the front door. We spent our daylight hours driving and hiking through breathtaking scenery, then nights cooking dinner sitting cozily by the fire. We did a big shop on our way in in Caernarfon, then just kept topping up at the local Spar. The property was really well furnished, clean, and so comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals, and the beds are so nice. Good hot shower. The views are also amazing and we enjoyed watching the stars, seeing the sun set, seeing Ireland across the waters...it was really peaceful and beautiful. Mike was a great host - he’s provided lots of maps and info that we took advantage of. He was always on hand and would go out his way to help us but wasn’t intrusive. I’d be keen to stay again. We visited so many areas and did so many walks (definitely do a few coastline and Snowdonia walks if you can) but you really only ever touch the surface and there’s so much more to see and do!

    Cat2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house with an amazing view, spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed, Stevie and Mike are brilliant hosts and we would love to stay again. The area is outstanding and we look forward to exploring it more next time, we all fell in love with the little church just down the hill.
