We had a wonderful 2 nights at Slavc and Vidas home in Slovenia! The apartment was impeccably clean and had all of the amenities we needed (and even some more). The size for a couple is perfect, and the apartment even has a sauna! (The toilet is downstairs and the rest of the apartment was upstairs but this was no problem at all for us) The location is amaZing in a small residential area surrounded by green and with views of the mountains. I would recommend a car when visiting this area so you can move around more freely. However the highlight for us was Slavc and Vida and their parents, they are some of the friendliest people we have met and their hospitality won't be forgotten for a long time. Slavc was great at telling us about the apartment and the places nearby and we loved chatting with him before our departure (whilst eating a delicious cake made by Vida) This was one of our most favourite airbnb's yet and we can't wait to return. Thank you so so much Slavc and Vida!

Slavc and Vida were excellent hosts. What amazing place to spent some days in a lovely and beautiful country! The apartment is better than the photos so we had a happily surprise. We were received with home made schnapps and some biscuits offered by the nice and lovely grandparents. The apartment is separated from Slavc and Vida's house so you can have your privacy. It has a small balcony in which you could have breakfast and look stars at night. The apartment is equipped with everything you need...everything! If you looking for a quite and peaceful place in which spent some days, you have to go to Slavc and Vida's apartment. We felt in love with Slavc and Vida's apartment, it is cute and quite big for two persons. We would like to come back in the future for sure. Thanks Slavc and Vida you are a great persons!

Being guests at Vida and Slavc Ribnikar's apartment is like being with friends who welcome you with open arms, as if it had been too long since they last saw you. This is genuine warm hospitality, something we can no longer take for granted these days. It is something to be treasured and reciprocated if you'd like to get more from your holiday than just a roof over your head. Although language may be a barrier for many, a few well chosen words and gestures will break the ice quickly almost anywhere. Both hosts speak English, perhaps one with a little more flair than the other, but with some patience you will be able to have a proper conversation or at least sort out your basic needs. Initial contact may be made by their daughter, Katja, who should be pretty fluent in English. The apartment is on the top floor of a free standing building behind the Ribnikar's home surrounded by gardens and flanked by fields on the edge of a quiet part of Križe. We found the apartment more than sufficient for our needs and it quickly became home from home. It is ideal for one or two visitors, both young and old, who are self sufficient and prefer the quiet countryside over the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a fairly steep, but safe, staircase, so for elderly visitors this may be an issue. The apartment is directly under a wooden clad sloping roof, this makes it charming and cosy and should cause no problems as long as you are aware of this. Skylights give plenty of natural light and fresh air on warm days. The small balcony can be accessed from the bedroom and is wide enough to enjoy a spirited aperitif, a leisurely meal or a lazy glass of wine. The bedroom has plenty storage and the wide double bed is comfortable. A small desk can be useful if you have some work to do and there are sockets to charge your phone or other devises. The kitchen has all you need to prepare your meals. There is a Lidl and Spar in nearby Tržič for your initial shopping and you can top up in the local shop where we were helped by a charming lady who, sadly, has moved to another location. The shop will soon be enlarged. You will find the corner seat and the large table in the kitchen the most comfortable place to have your breakfast or settle in the evening. The bathroom is spacious and has the added benefit of a sauna for those who can't resist. The only thing to keep in mind is that the toilet is down the stairs. Lights in the staircase and lower corridor will come on automatically, so you will not fall off the stairs, but if you are elderly and a little unsteady on foot, be aware of this or discuss alternative options with your hosts. This is not an apartment for...

I had a wonderful stay at Slavc and Vida's home. Their hospitality was very welcoming and we felt right at home. After meeting Slavc and his family we were given a tour of the home. The house is very spacious and the windows allow for beautiful natural light to come in. The house is situated next to a farm in a very nice neighborhood. The highway close and you are just a quick 20 minute drive to Lake Bled. We had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable and make wonderful meals. There was even some extra ones, like a beautiful sauna we enjoyed! Slavc's mother in law even brought us fresh salad from the garden and homemade juice. If you are looking for a gorgeous place to stay where you can feel right at home, this a place for you. I'm looking forward to meeting Slavc and staying at his home again.

Lovely AirBNB equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay! Perfect if you plan on exploring Slovenia by car. The location is in a quiet, little village that's not far from Lake Bled, Lake Bohinj and Ljubljana. Slavc was a great host who was very communicative and easy to reach via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) (even though we had to check in quite late). I'd definitely stay here again! PS: The apartment is detached from the house, which means you get lots of privacy as well. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

We had very good time in this lovely and charming house with all confort, just like home and even better. It was a pleisure to meet those people and we hope to come back one day. Everything is perfect in here and Slavc and Vida are very precious persons.

"Little family house" is the perfect description for this super cute hous. We have had the feeling of staying in a friends house rather than in a rental-appartment. For our little family it was a huge bonus that the house offers everything a family needs: a kids room, a baby bed, a baby chair and even a sandbox in the garden. Roman is a great and very caring host. We've met him at the check-in when he showed us everything we needed to know. He gave us some recommendations on what to do during our holiday in Slovenia. Whenever we've had questions he responded withing very short time. We have had a splendid time in Roman's "Little Family House" and would definitely recommend to stay there.

Really nice house near Bled with a big peacefull garden. Close to the highway, but far enough to not hear the sound of it. Got a nice warm welcome when we arrived. Loved our stay there!

The apartment in Tomaz and his wife was very nice: large, very well located (in minutes on the fast track while we were totally quiet), with access to very substantial garden. The location was ideal for use as a base in the region, especially as we had a baby, so mandatory nap in the afternoon, and need quick access to sites to do something in the evening! Tomaz and his wife were very welcoming and friendly, they provided the cot they had bought for their baby that will soon arrive. Only mini negative: the big bed, new squeaked when turned on.

A beautiful, spacious home away from home. The kitchen is well equipped and there is access to a large garden right outside the back door. Tomaž’s communication before and during the stay was excellent and he very kindly responded to queries quickly during our visit. A car would be very useful when staying here as there are no restaurants within walking distance and buses to and from Zvirče are irregular. This place is a perfect, quiet retreat for friends or family who want to be out of the city/tourist spots but very close by car to Llubljana, Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj.

The Thomas's house is very fine. All the necessary is present. The village is quiet and pleasant with a beautiful landscape. Many excursions are quickly accessible by car. Thomas and his wife are good advice to give you ideas for sightseeing. We were very happy with our stay

The accommodation offered by Tomas was very comfortable and spacious providing us privacy. The kitchen connected to living room with dining room and bathroom were fully equiped (dishwasher, fridge, TV, washing machine). We are very satisfied. Tomaž and his wife Vojana are very friendly people willing to help anytime.

We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed longer : Thomas's apartment is large, comfortable and clean. The mocation is great, the neighborhood very quiet. The restaurant Thomas drove us to was also very good. This very short stay makes me feel like coming back and spending time in Slovenia.

we had an amazing time at Editas home. the house is exactly as shown in the pictures, and its location is amazing - you are totally on your own, no busy roads, no close neighbors, just woods and green all around. the house has a fantastic feel to it, all the decors, pics and furniture are stunningly set up and the place has a great vibe. the beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, everything is spotlessly clean and in great shape. the outdoor Jacuzzi is everything you would want it to be. the privacy in this place is complete, the lighting in the corridors is automatic and responds to movement, so the house lights up as you walk through it. we stayed for 5 days and were only sorry to leave so soon, we would have stayed for another few days. its a 20 minute drive to Bled, but there are great walking trails to enjoy in the area itself. the house is large and there is plenty of space to spread out, chill on the couch or sofa or enjoy an outdoor meal with the garden furniture. our kids named the place the garden of eden. Edita gets 5 stars for this place.

This is by far the best house we have ever stayed in! It is the first time that reality is even better than the pictures... The house is so big (4 adults and 3 kids), and so well equipped on all aspects, that it was simply a perfect stay. The outside surrounding is incredible - anywhere you look u see green fields, the kids can run around very safely in an endless garden. And the Jacuzi... that was a real hit... the kitchen has anything you may need for cooking - including all utencils, spices and ingredients. The host has thought of everything we needed, and was really helpful. I know I sound like an ad, but this is simply true.

Edita is a gracious host. She lives about an hour away and still managed to greet us upon arrival with a bottle of Slovenian red wine. Her house is in a picturesque setting overlooking a beautiful church. It was very clean upon arrival. We did have some difficulties finding the house upon arrival. Edita helped us by meeting us at the Church. The home is about 30 minutes from Bled and 40 minutes from Ljubljana. We did have some issues with operating home appliances. My daughters (ages 8 and 11) apparently broke a hot tub cover (different than those in states) when they both took the cover off. Other household appliances (sauna, dryer) are different than those in states. Overall we had a great stay in an beautiful country.

This is hands down the best AirBnB experience we have had. The house was amazing, the view spectacular and Edita was a wonderful host. She was warm, friendly and made sure we felt welcome in her beautiful home. As this was our second trip to Bled, we wanted a house that was close to Bled but quiet and relaxing. Edita's "House At The Edge of the Forest" was just what we were looking for. If we ever find ourselves back in Slovenia, will definitely stay here again. Thank you Edita.

It was great time in Brezje in Breda's apartment. Breda and her hubby were very friendly and provided tips for local travel. Her apartment is clean as promised. One small suggestion could be that, the bedding gets hotter during summer, so, soft cotton might be better. She is a such a nice host and the apartment is nicely located for local travels. The church nearby is beautiful to visit. Would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved it for the children, as there was a little play area which they adored. We really liked the town and it couldn't have been easier to reach Bled and Bohinj. However I would say that the apartment was unbearably hot, as there was no air conditioning and there were no fans (which also created quite a problem with mosquitoes).

Roomy house approximately 15 minute drive to Lake Bled and approximately 25 minutes from the Vintgar Gorge. Our hosts were very kind and helpful, and we enjoyed our experience with them. They are a super sweet couple who wanted to help us with anything we needed.

We felt at ease from the very first contact and we felt at home from the moment of arrival. The appartment was to expectation, roomy, clean and complete. Breda and Joseph gave us all kind of tips about sightseeing the surroundings and about good, nice restaurants! And we enjoyed all of it!

A very nice accommodation with a very good location to visit this wonderful side of the country (lakes, alpines mountains, caves and the city of Ljubljiana). Easy access to the motorway. And above all Breda and Joze were fantastic hosts helping us in everything.

Domen is very kind and careful of everything- communication, conditions of house, introducing the sights.. His house is large enough for family, the village is calm and tidy.

We have a very pleasant stay in Kamna Gorica. Domen is a very welcoming and attentive host. His advice is very precious (sites to be discovered, traffic ...). The house is spacious and pleasant, in the middle of a quiet village. It's well situated, so it's easy to visit all around. I recommend it also without reservation.

This was our first Airbnb experience and it was excellent. Domen was a terrific host. He responded immediately and we met at the appointed time. Domen provided us with lots of very useful information about the area, including a route to Bled that avoided much of the traffic and parking tips. He also sent info on the next stage of our journey which we plan to put to good use. Finally, although we didn't take him up on it, he also offered us additional adapters and was willing to pick up groceries. The flat was as advertised. It was clean, spacious and equipped with everything we needed. We were very comfortable. Kamna Gorica is a great base for the area. Bled is about 20 minutes away by car, Lake Bohinj 40-45. There's a restaurant and store in town, although we went to Lesce, about 15-20 minutes away, for groceries and gas. Kamna Gorica itself is quiet and pleasant, and worth a walk around in its own right. I would recommend this listing without hesitation.

Domen is very nice and helpful host. As he was on holiday, he sent his friend to help us get accommodated and then next morning he came. We got lots of advices, hints where to go what to see. The apartment is spacious and very quiet. Clean, nice

Domen was perfect, timely, helpful, patient and generous with advice and information. The house is well maintained despite goes back to 800, it is clear that were made several renovations, such as the water system and the heating, which did not give any problem. I should note that there is a carport, quality not just. The village of Kamna Gorica is actually very quiet, as described in the ad, from what we have learned there are no shops, but you can easily cater to the nearby Lesce. It can, however, enjoy some outdoor activities such as hiking, skiing, horse riding.

The house is very comfortable and spacious, and has everything needed for a family stay. The village is lovely, and we enjoyed strolling in its streets. We also had a very nice lunch at the village restaurant. It is very close to Bled (about 20 minutes drive). We didn't meet Domen, since he was travelling, but his brother Gal helped us to get settled. There's parking space in the apartment, but with a big car it might be a bit challenging. There's no air-conditioning in the apartment, but we didn't miss it, even though the weather was very hot. We would definitely recommend this house for your visit to Slovenia.

We got lost on the way there and Kurt was very friendly and helpful despite the late hour. Clean and comfortable place, and the underfloor heating kept the place warm and cosy, plus there was easy access to Lakes Bled and Bohinj. On a minor note - if you're self-catering be warned that there isn't a conventional oven, just a combi-microwave (which we didn't know how to use!)

We were a family of 5 adults and 2 young children travelling by car. The apartment was most suitable for our needs with a great kitchen and the benefit of wine and beer to purchase via an honesty box. Village only a 10 minute drive with all facilities. We'll done and a credit to Nadija who made us most welcome. Highly recommended for families of all ages.

Kurt and Nadia were very welcoming and provided lots of toys for our children. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. Wasn't a fire but was lovely and warm with underfloor heating and radiators. Great location for visiting and the wine supply was excellent!

Fabulous house set amid lush green village very close to Bled. I am glad we decided on Kurt's property as this turned out to be the highlight of our trip. He spent the time to make an itenerary with info's about hidden gems that we could visit and places we could get best Slovenian experiences, foods and wines from the region. While kids loved the trampoline and the toys that the house comes with, we enjoyed the facilities. Washing machine and drier was very handy on the road. The house is stocked with everything we needed and the drive to the house was as beautiful. I would highly recommend this property.

This house is great. It is newly constructed with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. 2 have 2 double beds and the third has 4 bunk beds. Perfect for a family of 5-8 or 2 families of 4. There is another identical townhouse next-door. The place is well equipped and clean. They have more TV Stations than anywhere else we have stayed. There is a trampoline and toys for the kids. It is in a cute mountain town a short (10-15 minutes) drive from Lake Bled that has great views. The hosts are wonderful people and very helpful and available. We will definitely recommend them and their house to everybody we know and plan on coming back again.

This apartment was fantastic for us as it was locate din a authentic, quiet Slovenian village and close to Lake Bled and other attractions as we had a hire car. Kurt and Nadya were superb hosts and were happy to assist with any enquiry. We were 2 families of 7 people total and the apartment was very comfortable and was well stocked with all kitchen utensils and crockery etc, and met all our needs.
