Branislav and his family are wonderful and friendly hosts to all guests as I observed while staying at his place. He was very kind to pick me up from the Bus Station and pointed out things I could see and do in Kotor. His house which faces the sea is about 15-20 minutes unhurried walk from the Old Town and comes with a most pleasant and enjoyable view over the harbour and mountains beyond. The facilities in the house are good and fine. A recommended tip - the breakfast on the garden terrace is simply DIVINE!!! The breakfast is excelent value but more importanty, the view and the peaceful serenity in the early morning is stunning and very relaxing! If I come back to Kotor again, it will be because of the breakfast view over the harbour and my table spot has to be reserved for me. Thank you so much, Branislav.

It was one of the best places I ever stayed through AirBnB (and I've been to quite of them ;). Branislav is amazing person. You just want to listen to his stories. He welcomed us very warmly. We had a nice chat and some welcome dinks ;) The house and garden are amazing but view from the window or the terrace which is just next to the Kotor bay is just stunning. Pictures doesn't show it at all. It's like being in paradise. Swimming in the evening just next to the house was also quite unforgettable experience. The area around the house is so so picturesque. The old city of Kotor is about 20 min of walk across the shore. There are some restaurants nearby which are cheaper then those in the old town. All in all - I strongly recommend!

Great stay at Branislav's family home !! Branislav and his son have a very traditional Montenegrin house - big rooms, high ceiling, stone staircase, wooden floors. There is an inviting front terrace to sit which has the sun in the afternoon and a garden too. The house is a short walk from Kotor central meaning it is always peaceful at night, a relaxing place to stay !!

A really lovely family, they made us feel like one of them. they helped us with taxi's and directions. The house was on walking distance from the sea and really close to Kotor.

We stayed one night at home, visited Kotor during the day and arrived in the afternoon. We had some trouble finding accommodation, but neighborhood residents quickly contacted her and we hope at the door to greet us. The family is lovely, we attended at all times to our Be perfect. Besides the host speaks Spanish so we felt right at home! The room and bathroom are nice, clean and comfortable in relation to the price is super. Also they invited us to coffee on the terrace. They are a host 10! :) Thank you very much

Everything was fine

Zoran's family was very welcoming, they offered us coffee & fresh water at our arrival. Even if the mother didn't speak a word of English, her daughter translated everything so it was perfect ! It was a very funny experience :-P

We spent two nights in a nice little room, with a great welcome by Zorica and her mom, adorable. We were treated to a cool drink on arrival and a morning coffee. Accommodation is 5 minutes drive from Kotor, quiet, with a private parking convenient for the car. A nice step in our road trip to Montenegro.

Everything was perfect. Friendly contact and good hospitality. Milica and her grandmother Olga made us feel very comfortable.

Really great place in a quiet residential area but only 50m from the seafront and local bars and a short 10/15 minute walk from the old town. The place has a well-stocked kitchen and all the necessary facilities. Can't fault it.

Very comfortable stay at a very comfortable apartment. A little walk from the old town, but for kotor, this is the best value for money around. And the value is very good.

The apartment was really nice and cleaned. It is located close to the bay and the old town. Jelena and her husband gave us good recommendation about where to go in Kotor. They are really friendly and absoluttely the best host you can dream of.

The place is very nice and cozy. Very spacious and well equipped. Good also for short or long stays. Jelena's husband had warmly welcomed us and explained us all we need. We had a wonderful time in Kotor and Darko was a fantastic host. We were collected from the airport on arrival and dropped at the bus station when we left, Darko went out of his way to make sure we had a good time and had everything we needed. The apartment is very nice, very clean, and in a good position in Dobrota, about 15mins walk to Kotor old town. Everything was perfect. If you are going to Kotor, I can recommend staying here.

Jelena is an amazing host! We had trouble with our luggage because it didnt arrive but her husband helped us out by calling the airport for us and jelena kept in touch through emails with me to help me get to the house without problems :) the place is very warm, cozy and homey! We loved it :) its walking distance to kotor old town and there is a supermarket nearby which was super convenient! I would love to come again if i have the chance :) definitely would recommend!!

This place was perfect. Exactly as described and very clean. The air conditioning worked great and I loved the balcony. Highly recommend it and be hosts were fantastic and were easy to communicate with. 10/10

Great place to stay for visiting Kotor. 5 mins from the bus station and a 10 minute stroll to the walled city. Apartment as described. We were collected from the bus station by the owners dad. He speaks very little English, but then I speak no Montenegrin!! We had a fun conversation and a lot of sign language - neither of us really knowing what the other was saying - but I came away with several mandarins to eat on our walk up to the fortress. A lovely host.

Andjelko is fantastic. He picked us up at the bus station, who is near to the apartment. The room was clean and spacious and with all accommodation in the kitchen. I recommend !

A nice loft apartment in a good and quite position(5' from center) with a nice view from its spacious balcony prefect fro breakfast! Easy place for free parking. It can be improved in cleaning a little bit more.

It has been a great fun and eyes opening experience to stay with Andy's parent which I would touch on later. First thing first, we decided to stay overnight in Kotor at about 1500 on the same day and the booking was completed swiftly. Location, location and location, the big house is only about 10 mins leisure walk away from the old town entrance. Though we parked just opposite to the main entrance of the old town but Andy has offered to pick us up and guided our way to his house (by his lovely father who does not speak English). Pre and post trip communication was excellent and I have indeed chit chat with Andy via (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) for over an hour after we have settled down and finished dinner (though I could not meet Andy in person at all ). The apartment is extemely spacious and we could see part of the old town wall from our big balcony though we have no time to enjoy bkf in the Balcony. Furniture inside is just like the pix, very traditional and back to the basic but great fun while one has to manage an expection that it is nothing "deluxe". We talked to Andy's parent with all the italian, german words that we know plus all kind of body language and needless to say (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) translation too, and we managed to talk about his garden, dogs and the fruits he has grown and give some to us as breakfast fruit, just lovely. His "self made" gym is huge and unbelievable from the perspective of a rather gym lover like me. No doubt I would stay with them again if I could come back next year off season. Highly recommended!

Wonderful apartment in a small block overlooking Kotor Bay. A great balcony which catches the sun in the morning. Clean and spacious apartment. Welcoming and lovely hosts. Check-in was very easy and quick. The apartment is about 25 min walk to the old town, or a few minutes drive. We had dinner at the Galion restaurant, superb food and wonderful view. The walk up to the fortress was well worth it!

Had an amazing stay at Spiro's apartment, what an amazing place! Must have sat for hours on the balcony looking at the bay and mountains. The apartment was well equipped and had everything we needed. The staff work incredibly hard and always seem to be around the complex when required, with helpful information on day trips. To future visitors; I would definitely recommend the trip to Perast as suggested to us. Nice little town with incredible views, boat trips/cafes and sunbathing spots. The hike up to the castle in Kotor is well worth doing. Our favourite meal was at Ladovina just down the road but Galion was quite nice too. Thank you very much for the hospitality and hope to visit again to see more of this beautiful country!

We had a great night in Dejan's appartment. He and his family welcomed us warmly with juice & some food, the house was confortable and very clean and the environment was very quiet. We also appreciated the balcony. We 100% enjoyed :)

We had a really good experience at Dejan's. The family was very nice and offered us some food from their own garden. They were always available for whatever we need. It is a very good place to stay if you want to visit the country as you can do a day trip to everywhere in Montenegro. The apartment was bigger than what it seemed in the pictures which was a great surprise. It had nice views from the terrase. The only bad point is that the road to get there is quite sharp and unpaved but it worth to have the amazing view later. Thank you very much :)

Beautiful views, friendly hostess, parking (although we were in the winter). Restaurants, shops nearby. The only negative - can hear everything that goes on behind the wall.

We had a great time at Sinisa's apartment. Danja was so kind to pick us up from the center of Kotor. The apartment was exactly what the foto's shows and had a beautiful view on the water and mountains. Just accross the street you can swim! We highly recommend this place!

Great location beautiful view and pretty easy to find. We were greeted by Sinisa's mum i think she was lovely. the unit is small but it has everything you need and very clean.

Our stay in Nadezha house was perfect! Her friend Igor help us with everything we need, from places to visit to useful tips. All the house was very clean and the views from the terrace where we have breakfast everyday are simply breathtaking... If I visit Kotor again don't hesitate on return there.

Igor is a great host. He is very gentle, welcoming, provides a lot of good advice and is always available. His house is also perfect. Everything is perfect inside. The equipments are fantastic and the garden is really pleasant. The situation is also very nice as it is only 5 minutes walk from the sea. I strongly recommend this location. Very good experience.

Igor is an amazing host. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The apartment was extremely clean, and nicely furnished. The large balcony has great views and is perfect for hanging out or eating a meal. I love the location, with a 25 min walk, 5 minute drive (or €4 cab) to kotor's old town. It's also less than a 5 minute walk to the water which has some docks which which you can sun yourself on and swim from. We swam lots; the water is incredible. My only quibble was the apartment was a little too hot (even with AC or open windows at night), and my bed's sheets too scratchy. Minor stuff.

Everything went perfect for us ! Very nice place with great terrasse and view on the bay. The appartement is clean, recent and well furnished. Direct acess to the beach and short & pleasant walk to Kotor Old town. Igor and nadya were very nice and helpful. Definitively a great airbnb experience !!

This spacious apartment is in the leafy town of Muo just across the bay from the old town of Kotor. A 5 minute walk takes you down to some great swimming spots. The walk into Kotor is about 25 minutes along the very pretty waterside, though you also have the option of taking a brief taxi ride for about €2.50. The beds were comfortable and the apartment was equipped with everything we needed (towels, washing machine, well-equipped kitchen). It is worth noting that there is only one bathroom, but this wasn't a problem for our small group. The balcony is the real star of the place, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the chance to see the city walls of Kotor lit up at night across the water. Igor, the owner of the place (who lives in the lower flat) is a fantastic host and was always on hand to help. He made some particularly great recommendations of places to eat which had a secret, local feel about them. We unfortunately had real trouble trying to find the place (it has a number but not a road name), however Igor eventually came to our rescue by meeting us at a local supermarket and showing us the way. All in all, our party of 5 had a wonderful time staying in this apartment. We would definitely stay here again if we found ourselves back in beautiful Montenegro.

Comfortable, modern apartment with an incredible view of the beautiful bay of Kotor from the balcony. Lovcen national park is easily accessible via a beautiful mountain road and the old city of Kotor is within walking distance. Igor was extremely friendly and a font of local knowledge!

A very spacious 3BR suite and a great view were enhanced by the friendliness of our host. We were even given fresh potatoes for cooking. Recommended for sure.

Very nice appartment with a lovely view. It's 10 minutes walking to the centrum. There was everything you needed. Alexandra was always available for questions. Only the appointments for leaving the appartment were not so clear.

Alexandra was very aware of us and very solicitous, despite not receiving messages arrival. We arrrived food for breakfast and even local honey. The spacious and with everything needed to make the stay pleasant apartment. The terrace and wonderful views. Better to park along the road for access to the apartment parking place is not suitable. You have to climb stairs to access the apartment. Kotor and surroundings have charmed us.

Aleksandra was great, she was super nice to me and my family. Her place is really cozy. The apartment is uphill and has several stairs. We would call a taxi from the apartment and by the time we got down the taxi was already waiting for us. Taxi rides for us were 2 to 2.50 euros. The view of Kotor from the apartment terrace is amazing.

Aleksandra is a super host. Her apartment is very cozy with a fantastic terrace overlooking Kotor. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bedroom comes with a wood burning stove for those cold nights.

We loved our stay at Aleksandra's. It's a great location, easily walkable (15mins) to the old town. The apartment had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed a lot of space with 2 of us using the apartment and loved having breakfasts and suppers alfresco on the terrace with the amazing peaceful view. Aleksandra was generous and helpful; she left us delicious cordial on our arrival and even dropped us off at the bus garage when we left. She's well travelled herself so knows what travellers need.

Milica and indeed her mum (who lives in the apartment downstairs) were lovely. As was Jelena who Milica had arranged to meet us and show us into the apartment as well as helping with any issues on site. All of them were just great. The place is very pleasant once you open the shutters (it felt a tad dark on our arrival but this just because the shutters were closed. Light, airy and plenty of space. The bedroom is delightful with lovely high French windows leading out a balcony with a table, two chairs and a nice view. Perfect to sit and sip wine of an evening. The apartment is nicely located for the small 'beach' in the direction of the old town, which itself is only a 5 minute walk away. All in all it was ideal for us and I would thoroughly recommend the apartment and hosts to anyone.

Great location, clean comfortable and quiet out of the rush of the old town of Kotor. Perfect for a take it easy stay however only 5-10min walk to the old town which is busy busy with tourist life. Had a great stay and would recommend to anyone wanting a stop over. Milica was a great host and new about the area which was helpful. We only stayed 1 night but wish we had longer.

Milica was a really nice host and gave us precious advice on which places to visit. The appartment is very Well located, 1 minute walk from the peaceful boardwalk and the beach ! It is also fully equiped and the balcony is perfect to take a drink. We definitely recommend :)

My friend and I were traveling through Croatia and decided to take a drive south to Montenegro. The apartment was better than the pictures portrayed. Clean, spotless and spacious. Everything was brand new. The terrace was lovely for a glass of wine or beer while watching the seaside. The apartment was a short walk into the old city center (about 10 minutes) and the views, scenery and overall ambiance was spectacular. Definitely would suggest staying here. The views of the bay were gorgeous.

We had a great time in Dobrota & Kotor. Milica was very helpful and friendly. She helped us with finding suitable buses and outings during our stay and the apartment was very nice and clean.

You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful spot and a more friendly and welcoming family when you visit the Kotor bay area. After waking up Milos' mother welcomes you with fresh coffee after which you can take a refreshing dive in the azur blue bay across the road. Milos' father was a great help in organizing affordable transport to our next location. All in all, a very pleasant experience and a family and place to remember.

Milos's parents' house is located in a posh and really picturesque village of Dobrota which is just few km away from the antient town of Kotor and the city of Tivat. The room we had is a double room with a beautiful view on the sea which is right across the road, and a small private bathroom. Milos's parents were very nice, his mother extremely kind woman, was always there for us in case we needed anything. She can undrstand some English and Russian. Milos's father speaks both English and Russian. There is also a nice terrace with a view on the sea and mountains the guests can use any time. We loved relaxing there every evening after returning from our day trips or long walks, listening to the birds singing and sipping Rose. If you travel from Tivat airport and not renting a car, you can take a TAXI from the airport to the house which will take around 10 min. to get there and cost not more than Є10, but don't let yourself be fooled by the taxi drivers at the airport, as they charge foreigners 3-4 times more, Є25-35. If you like walking Milosh's house is the right place for you: it's about 30 min. walking distance to Kotor, the walk is very pleasant, alone the sea on one side and people's houses on the other side, and of cause magical mountains on both sides. The views are just fantastic - you will enjoy every minute of your walks. There is no bus going to the house from Kotor or Tivat, so if you don't fancy a walk, you should take a taxi every time you decide to go to Kotor or Tivat, or rent a car at the airport. There are couple of places to eat in the village, but the one we loved most was "PIRUN I OZICA" ("a fork and a spoon") with extremely kind staff and very good food - their sea food was fresh from the sea, big portions, very tasty! Milos's mother was very kind to let us keep our food in her fridge and use the kitchen. You won't be able to cook anything in the house but sandwiches and some snacks, but believe me, you will have no time. If you want to stay away from the crowds of tourist but still short distance from all the tourist attractions, if you want to experience the life of locals, see beautiful nature around you, enjoy local food and picturesque views - Milos's parents' house is the right place to stay.

Nice place with great view. Milos' parents were very welcoming. There is only one bathroom for three rooms, but it was not a big problem for us and although the bathroom could use some renovation it was kept clean and in good condition. Milos' parents live downstairs so you have to go through their place when going in and out of the house. Terrace has really nice view and it was great to enjoy it for breakfast and in the evening. Overall we had a nice stay.

Great little spot just north of Kotor in Dobrota. The hosts, while limited English, were extremely helpful and pleasant. They had coffee for me every morning and some occasional treats. I spent 10 days there and was very happy with my choice. The only minor issue is the bathroom was still a bit of a work in progress with no shower door so it would get a little wet but they did a good job keeping it clean and dry. It's a solid 30-40 minute walk to Old Town. So if you are only staying a day, you might want to stay in Old Town, but for anything longer, Dobrota is much better. It's much more quiet and you are right on the water. You just walk outside and you can jump in. The dock area there isn't as nice as some of the other places, but it's also not crowded and you can just lounge and swim in peace. I'd much rather have that scenario than an extended pier bathing area with lots of patio furniture but also lots of people and kids. ;-) Overall I highly recommend this spot for any stay over 2-3 days. The only thing I would change (and this has nothing to do with place, just travel tip) is I would have rented a car. I spent a ton on taxis to see the area and should have just gotten a car. But I loved my stay there. :)

Milos was very patient with us in giving driving instructions to the house, and his mother and father greeted us and showed us the room. It's basic but has a lovely view, and comfortable bed. There is a shared bathroom, which is a little hostel-y, but the other guests were very friendly. It's a 20-30 minutes walk to the Old Town, but it's along the sea front and is floodlit all the way along so easy to walk back at night. There is a little shop very nearby where we picked up some things for breakfast, and you can swim from the jetty right in front of the house.

We really loved our stay at Donkovic's place in Dobrota. It's on a quiet street right across from the beautiful bay, but close enough to walk to excellent restaurants. The room was quiet comfortable, and because there were no other guests, we didn't have to share the shared bathroom. It was great having a big jug of water available to us to refill our water bottles. Our host was great- excellent conversation over drinks- and very helpful. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay with Dusan and his wife. They made us feel very welcome and very much at home in their lovely house. Their home is a gorgeous old stone building with stunning terrace, directly across from the sea. Every morning we would sit and have our breakfast on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful bay, while Dusan's wife made us coffee and even English tea! There were several nice restaurants and mini supermarkets within walking distance; we also hired a car, so we drove into Kotor, and also to the National Park and to a sandy beach a little way away. You can swim in the bay across from the house, and Dusan even lent us his boat so that we could go for a row on our last morning. Overall, it was an extremely relaxing break, we really enjoyed getting to know the family; we didn't want to leave!

Amazing waterfront location, very friendly and helpful, lots of offers of coffee and tea. 3km from old town but we read other reviews so knew that already but this is not in kotor. It's in dobrota

Marina's place was very quiet and comfy. We enjoyed our stay. It is not in the center thus it was very quiet and peaceful. There are nice restaurants, beaches and a market nearby. Marina's parents are lovely people who helped us carrying our heavy luggage upstairs. It was a pleasure meeting them. Kotor bay has many musquitos so make sure you bring protection.

Quiet location and perfect base for exploring Kotor Bay Area.The place was comfortable and all basic amenities provided. Marina was very kind and helpful and left us a bottle of red wine and brandy which was a very nice touch.

We had a great time at Marinas apartment, it is locatet 6,5 kilometres from Kotor Oldtown, and only a few steps away from the sea. You have a beautiful view of Kotor Bay, when you leave the house. Our hosts were very friendly and did everthing to make our stay comfortable.

The apartment is in line with the announcement, well decorated and clean. Mom Marina has warmly welcomed us with among others figs from the garden as a welcome gift. The building is on the edge of the road along the Bay of Kotor, the studio does not overlook this wonderful view but it prevents noise, and the terrace is very quiet.

It was nice flat. There was everything that you need. Sometimes there is a problem about hot water. Flat was near some quality restaurants and beaches.

We had such a lovely stay in marinas apartment. It was very tranquil and surroundings were amazing.

Stay in Marina's place was just wonderful! We felt there like at home. The location, view and atmosphere in Prcanj is the best and most charmig of all Kotor. We met and felt in love with Marina's parents-most hospitable people we've ever met. I highly recommend! :) Thank you!
