Very clean and quiet abode with nice touches that went beyond the morning coffee! Would not hesitate to recommend this property to others. Black Diamond is small but interesting with boutique shops and soda shops and more.

Hazel is a kind Hostess and the suite was very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed was comfortable. Black Diamond is a bit isolated but we enjoyed our trip to Kananaskis where the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. Hazel

This B@B is close to everything in Black Diamond. It is clean and comfortable, and the bed is terrific. It has a kitchen and laundry as well. Hazel was very accommodating to my needs for this trip. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing! Hazel was so accomodating and went above and beyond to ensure that things were set up for our visit, having twins makes for a long packing list and she sought out loaner items for us so that we didn't have to bring everything. The rooms are spacious with plenty of room for the kids to play both inside and out. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home and location. Very spacious, clean and welcoming. Great for a larger group of people or a couple of families. The hot tub makes all the difference outside in the mountain scenery. Host has incredible response times and is extremely helpful.

I stayed for a weekend with some friends, this place was great! It is clean, secluded, and has great amenities. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend it to others

Everything about our stay was perfect! The hosts were very fast at replying any questions, they waited several hours until I wan available to arrive. I received a tour of the place and I had previously asked about trails.. they were kind enough to bookmark some in a guide book for me! The house is absolutely beautiful! Its so nice to enjoy peace and quiet every now and then compared to the city. Everything was there for us!... we never had to run to the store or anything! Everyone enjoyed their stay.

Melanie was a great host to deal with! She was always quick with replies, and answering any questions needed. Beautiful home as well, nicely decorated for the holidays.

Mel's place is absolutely stunning. Beautiful building and location. It is very well appointed and comfortable. It was the perfect setting for a retreat. With my friends. We were all able to relax and socialize in a very homey setting. Group meals and activities were a breeze. Way more personal than a hotel!

We were a group of 10 people looking for a place out of the city that could comfortable accommodate us. I guess we were the first group to book the whole house, but Melanie was so welcoming and friendly that it was a breeze. The house is gorgeous and the property is great. The log/timber framing is incredible and everyone was blown away. The amenities were plentiful and we made good use of the BBQ, ping pong and hot tub. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to anyone wishing to stay in the Bragg Creek area.

Stayed here for one night with a group of close friends. The place was fantastic and Mel was responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone!

This was a very clean and nice home. A bit cool but I think Eddy would provide a heater if required. Eddy's family was very nice.

Eddy and family are excellent hosts. They communicate and accommodate quickly. Their place is a nice little 2 bedroom basement suite with private entrance. Parking on the driveway. Fully equipped kitchen. Short walk to grocery, cafe, pub, etc. No complaints.

The suite was very clean and as advertised. As a family of five it was a very cozy fit but overall worked for our needs. We were short of a few kitchen necessities but the hosts were very accommodating and willing to supply anything that was missing. It's also located a short walk to a playground and 5 min drive to grocery store and small shopping centre and the neighborhood is very quiet. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

Very comfy bed, it was cool in the space but that is to be expected being a basement suite, private space.

We came back to stay here again after going to the mountains for a few days. Good location and good value. Etienne was a great host.

We had a nice stay at Etiennes place. For the price, it was a great value. It is located in a safe, friendly residential neighbourhood with a nice little playground down the road. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. The multiple bathrooms were great with a kid. There were multiple tv's too. Beds were clean and comfortable. Bedrooms are located upstairs and there is a huge bedroom in the basement, so you will need to walk up or down stairs, which wasn't a problem for us. I would recommend this place for families, couples or even solo business travelers. We enjoyed our stay.

Our stay was fantastic. We stayed for two weeks with two kids. There was plenty of room for all of us. Very quiet neighbourhood with many amenities close by. Nice back yard with patio and bbq. Etienne was a great host that was available for any questions or concerns. Would recommend staying here.

They are really nice and kind, polite and clean. All you want for a short stay.

We were basically only there for sleep, so didn't take advantage of amenities. It was a wonderfully quiet night in a nice bed. Suggest - take slippers as the floors are not carpeted.

Onyin was a delightful host.

We had a warm welcome from Onyin and her family. I was with my family and her place was able to accommodate all five of us. Her place is well kept, exactly how it looks like in the listing. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, which I really like. And of course, great value. I would definitely recommend her place.

Very nice, quiet and comfortable. Ebele provided us with every thing we needed and more and was happy and willing to provide assistance whenever needed. I really enjoyed my stay at Ebele's home.

We were in town for an event south of Calgary and this was the perfect location for us. We stayed two nights and had absolutely no problems from check in to check out. Ebele and his wife were easy to communicate with and to arrange a meeting time with. I would gladly stay here again.

We loved the big immaculate private basement space that was provided. There was a large sitting area with couch and TV, bedroom, and bathroom. We were able to totally relax. We had a very gracious and welcoming host couple. The area was close to #1 Hwy, and an easy exit to Banff or downtown Calgary!

Welcoming response (on phone) when we arrived. Access was easy. Host checked in with us during our stay. When we requested more towels and hand soap, the host, who had to work until 10:00 pm, left them outside our door that evening. There was lots of room, and the beds were comfortable (except I was a little uncomfortable that there was no top sheet between us and the blanket). There's a great big bathtub, which I appreciated, as many B&Bs have showers only. The price was good, and I appreciated the host's flexibility regarding our dates, which kept changing. Perhaps more attention could be paid to cleanliness.

We met the host's wife when we arrived, very nice lady. We didn't realize the basement suite did not have a private entry, perhaps we missed that in the description. We booked the suite two days before arrival. It is in a nice area close to Spruce Meadows and not too far from DT Calgary and many restaurants, not walking distance as it is a residential area. Unfortunately for us the suite was not cleaned before we arrived. Sheets were not changed (there was other people's hair and stains on them) it was not vacuumed, kitchen counters were dirty to say the least. This is my honest feedback and I am keeping it to the minimum. After messaging the host, listing all that we found unacceptable and asking for some refund he kindly refunded half of the price and told me that next time he will personally make sure that the suite is ready for guests. Because of the state we found the suite in, I wouldn't recommend it. I am glad that people before us were able to enjoy a clean place esp sheets and I wish that was our case too.

Comfy and nice basement! Well equipped. The host is welcoming and kindly provided some supplies so that we didn't have to run to the grocery store in a hurry. He even nicely helped us pick and grab some local beers on the last day of our stay.

We stayed in this basement suite in summer, and the rooms are clean and spacious. It has two comfortable beds for a 3-members family to sleep. If feeling a little bit cold at the basement rooms there's a desktop heater could be used to warm up. The kitchenware is comparatively complete and easy to cook the meal. There's a big sized TV in front of the sofa and it's very much entertained via cable programs. Prahlad is a nice guy and easygoing. He could provide airport pickup by a reasonable charge to his house at southwest edge of the city. He drived us for shopping at supermarket the first day after coming, and he was able to offer the help when we needed. Generally speaking, Prahlad's basement suite merits short term stay at this price, although the location is relatively far from downtown and the air in the rooms need to be refreshed.

Clean room with private bathroom next door. Quiet location and within a 5 min drive to all the shopping (groceries, restaurants). The host replied quickly and was gracious enough to let me check in last minute which was appreciated.

Had a great stay in a very clean and large room with own bathroom beautiful view and an AWSOME property. Thank you Billie and Jerry! Highly recommend if you are planning a stay in the Okotoks area.

I stayed here for two months, and needless to say, it was a fantastic experience! Billie accommodated and attended to all my questions and concerns even prior to arriving, and made sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. It is several minutes from Okotoks, so everything is very accessible. However, it still offers a true Albertan prairie experience (with the addition of herd dogs and sheep!). The views were amazing; the prairies lit up in the afternoon light and the mountains were stunning when it was clear out. If you're a fan of dogs, this place is heaven! All the animals are very friendly, but will respect your privacy when needed. I was fortunate enough to be there for the birth of a litter and to see them grow up, which was an experience I will treasure. Despite having pets indoors, I never felt that cleanliness was an issue. Billie and Jerry were amazing hosts; they were very warm and welcoming. I never had any issues throughout my stay and don't foresee that anyone else would as the hosts are very relaxed and make for great conversation.

Billie is a very warm and gracious host. I felt relaxed from the moment I arrived and I enjoyed good conversation and loved hanging out with her wonderful dogs and her sweetest cat. It was a treat. The foothills are beautiful and peaceful. I arrived there when it was dark and woke up to all this natural beauty in the morning. Billie is a lovely person and her home is a rural oasis. I hope to stay again if I return to the area in a few months.
