This is the hotel Goldried in Matrei. There currently are held conversions, but it was not very disturbing. The stay was very pleasant and uncomplicated. We were able to check out any problems later on departure. The private sauna and drying cabinet were enormous practical. I would recommend the apartment to anyone. Sleeps 6. OK for eight rather borderline.

A nice clean apartment, everything in it that you need, excellent location right next to the downhill run, nice helpful staff. We would have liked to know beforehand that the apartment is part of a large hotel complex that was only after the reservation clear. Still, a very nice holiday, thank you!

Great place to discover the are around

Hotel Goldried was perfect. Since arrival and all through our stay we really enjoy. The apartment was exactly like on the pictures, with private sauna and lots of room for 7 people. I dont know if Anna was there, but all the employees were very polite and always ready to help. Me and my friends have fun, and maybe sometimes make more noise than usual, but nobody from hotel guests and hotel stuff did not complain, so that is a big plus. I recommend this hotel for large groups, because the Ski lift is just 5 minutes from hotel, and you have ski buss every 20 minutes, so location is excellent. You also have great ski bar 5 minutes from apartment, so we have a great time there. Thank you Goldried, and we hope we will have opportunity to visit you again.

We stayed 1 week in Matrei at the end of June and we had a wonderful time. The apartment was really great, it had everything we needed. We felt so comfortable there, we are thinking to come back next year and stay longer. The hosts were very friendly and gave us good tips for hiking trips. We could not have stayed at better place.

Very well equipped apartment, spacious with fantastic views of the mountains. Covered parking spaces directly in front of the door. Shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The apartment was wonderful with a balcony that over looked the valley. The bedrooms were a good size and had comfortable bedding. The kitchen was well equipped and the internet was excellent. It was a pleasant stroll to the supermarket at the end of the street and there were several coffee shops and food shops in town. It is a short walk to the cable car to the mountains behind. This apartment is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and convenient to both the mountains and the town. We walked everywhere and the view of the surrounding mountains is just gorgeous. Well worth the very reasonable price. We would definitely stay here again.

Natalis is really welcoming, he gave us some advice on hikes in the neighborhood and some exra information about the national park. The apartment is nice and clean and the kitchen fully equiped. But what we really loved was the terras with the amazing view! The neighborhood is child friendly and Matrei is a beautiful place in the mountains.

Natalis was very communicative and informative. The place was within 5-10 minute walk of city-center and the ski-lift.

A commercial establishment run very well. Magnificent balcony views. The second bedroom is a loft room. Very clean and well maintained. I would recommend it for value and comfort. Close to supermarkets and a short walk into the pretty village of Matrei.

Olivia's place is in an excellent location in Matrei. It is part of an apartment complex with good parking. Olivia was very welcoming and responsive to all my questions and needs, such as a burned out light bulb. A wonderful host! We stayed in the patio location; views were okay, not great, but we were mainly out enjoying the amazing views on the trails. The apartment is extremely clean and looks quite new. Basic amenities only: bring your own soap, washing machine powder and cooking ingredients if you plan to stay for a bit.

A nice place to stay for a while, clean and equipped with all you need. Everything in walking distance. Nice contact, I can only recommend this place. Only the mattress was a little bit hard (I prefer it a little softer)

The place was cute and lovely. We arrive very late at night so we had no idea how the scenery looked like until morning and it was breath-taking! Gorgeous nature and cozy atmosphere. Stayed only one night but we loved it.

Our 4-day stay was absolutely great! We were very sympathetically received and felt directly at home. It was everything clean and for beds have smelt after softener. The location is also top. Directly in front of the house is a bus stop. On foot it is comfortable about 15 minutes to the city center of Matrei and to our destination Großglockner (Lugnerhaus) about 35min by car. We have been allowed to use the gas grill in the garden. Claudia's apartment is highly recommended!

We have a great stay in this super clean and super cozy apartment for vacation in the mountains, not very far from the reassembled, with a ski bus stop next to the apartment, a magnificently mountain views, a super nice breakfast , we'll see these decors summer.

The place was great, as on the pictures. We were nicely surprised we got upgraded appartement at our check in, so we have more comfort with 3 children. Bathroom and kitchen fully equipped. It was very convenient to have our own sauna, which we enjoyed every evening. Most of all, the beds were great...we enjoyed every moment of our stay, felt very much at home...

I booked the hotel for my girlfriend, my mother and my son for 1 week. We were in Matrei skiing. The apartment is just great. I would move in immediately. Amenities and ambiance are just huge. I would say of me discerning traveler to be high on cleanliness and facilities worth places and this apartment has satisfied me in every fiber of my claim. It was all authentic and loving. The bathrooms are new and renovated by a clinical cleanliness. The showers are fantastic (for two very usable) the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is large and enough for 4 adults. The apartment has a crazy good location. We are almost in sight to the base station. Billa, BIPA and savings are within walking distance. Accommodation for skis are also available. Parking in front of the house are also available. The hosts are urherzliche people who have until the last day always looked after and lovingly from the first. Communication with Stephen and his family were all very outstanding. We had a really great time in Matrei and a large part contributed the apartment and the loved ones they offer to do so. I can therefore recommend the hotel to 100%.

With my family we spent in this great apartment just 3 nights, but we were still impressed. we have not met host, but his mother took care of us with best performance. Everything was super great near what it was far way to the mountain railway could let his skis in the depot, where you can still bekommet a small discount of the family. :-) Everything was very clean, kitchen equipment are brand new and although it was not mentioned in the description, the ski cellar and shoes dryer is also available. There is not really what we might complain because it from the best accommodation we have ever had in Austria one.

Nice and clean place in the mountains with a beautiful view. The restaurant was nice but we could not pay by card. Nice hiking trails in the mountain very close to the hotell. Breakfast was included and good.

Eine nette Unterkunft, allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Essen und Getränke waren gut! Frühstück im Preis inbegriffen und durchaus in Ordnung. Schöne Aussicht auf das Tal! Starker Chemiegeruch auf der öffentlichen Toilette. Eigenes Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und ordentlich.

The hotel has us very well, directly on the slopes and a sauna in their own home is already something nice. The only downside is the late check-in. Otherwise, we were very pleased. Thumbs up.
