Liv got herself one of the most beautiful places to live. We planned on coming to the countryside around Barna to relax and enjoy the sun for a couple of days. That was exactly what we got :) Thank you Liv for having us with you.

Myself and two friends stayed at livs place and it was an absolute pleasure she shared all the vegetables and eggs she had in her garden with us which were delicious, Liv is so very kind, her daughter Melva is one in a million and you will love having her around. The home is situated in a lovely rural area surrounded by gorgeous ranges. It is a nice 45 minute walk to the supermarket (but Liv drove us once and I'm sure she will drive you too and maybe even more) and town where you can visit the old town and castle, we also hitch hiked to a close town to visit the river and pool which I highly recommend (I think it's called abbuciea). If you don't mind the laughter, songs and tears of an elated 4 year old at 9 in the morning and throughout the day then you will have no problems but I think you will enjoy that the most. Un excellent séjour à deux dans la maison de Liv ! Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par la mère de Marco qui nous a fait nous sentir comme chez nous. Liv n'étant pas là nous avons trouvé un petit mot de bienvenue avec des bonnes adresses de restaurants. Nous avions aussi la possibilité de gouter les fruits et légumes du potager et chaque matin une tortilla francesa avec les œufs du jardin nous attendait. Le petit-déjeuner face aux montagnes et à l'ombre des arbres est un vrai bonheur. Nous recommandons vivement et espérons revenir un jour !

My family and I spent eight days at Mariluz's place. The house and property were as described in the profile. We really enjoyed our time there. The highlights are the pool and the dining area close to the pool. Inside the house everything was correct and the mattresses are excellent. We slept really well. We may go back some other time. We went to spend a weekend with friends, and Mariluz house was perfect. The house has everything, and is in the middle of the mountain, a perfect place to unwind. Mariluz and her mother were very kind and helped us in every moment. We had a great weekend. We are sure we will repeat soon.

very nice home for a group of friends or family. The exchanges with the host before the trip, we were a little concerned. As some reviewers have reported numerous dogs bark but the house we hardly hear. It was early May so it certainly justified but we were sad to see that the pool was not available and we do not know. This is the only real flaw.

We have taken advantage of a weekend with friends celebrating the birthday of one year of our child. The house inside is not bad, although there are many loose wires or poorly placed throughout the house, with a small child can become dangerous. The pool was not enabled, which does not appear in the ad. I've talked to the owner and although she claims on the sector House Rules, which looked at the ad again and again we still find this information would have been very helpful when booking the house. We had a great family. The place is well suited for children. The house is functional, well equipped and clean. The area is quiet if we ignore the barking of many dogs. The house is very nice and we enjoyed the air conditioning and the pool. The house is spacious and well equipped. However, a caveat about the neighborhood: lots of barking dogs regularly during the day and night. Being used to calm, it bothered us.

Laura and her mother Adelina have been a great amfitrionas. Always very attentive to everything and answering very quickly to all messages. Arriving at the house everything was clean and tidy. The house is cozy, large and with a fantastic outside. No complaints. We spent the end of the year 15 people and we had leftovers space for all, it was a great year to look forward to repeat only. We were very well received by the mother of Toni and her sister Julia. They have made every effort to ensure that one feels at ease. Breakfast and a bottle of wine waiting for us. The house is very well located, it allows to visit the area, the sea and the hinterland and is close to major cities: Barcelona and Girona. The pool is really nice when you do not want to move or to cool off after returning from a trip! Only flat, insects that have eaten literally as soon as we were out!

C is the mother and sister of Toni who welcomed us like family. 1 breakfast waiting in the fridge and a bottle of red wine on the table. House very functional, such as the description (even a hair dryer). Mosquito nets everywhere, it c is awesome! Very well located for visiting Barcelona, the Costa Brava etc .... The only catch is that all dogs and neighbors about barking all night to the point of not being able to open the windows at night! But the hosts are ny for nothing unfortunately. very pleasant stay with our three children. I recommend this house without worries. We had problems during our stay with the pool, the owners responded very quickly to fix everything.

Suddenly we find no home in Girona because of an unpresentable hostess, so we had to cancel the reservation and look urgently on the same day a new house, with the luck that you contact Toni and said it was available. The accommodation was exactly as described in the Internet and met our expectations 100%. We were warmly welcomed and taken to the house. The fridge was filled with the essentials for the first few days and a bottle of wine and was already there for us. The immediate neighbors were not there in time, so that we could enjoy undisturbed tranquility. Contact the Owner was not a problem and we always had a contact there. From our side, we can recommend the hotel to all.

We've just spent two very nice weeks in Macanet de la Selva. The house is like it is written in the description. There was not too much room for clothes but everything was especially clean. The pool was cleaned three times during our stay! The beds were a bit older BUT the mattresses were new and our backs enjoyed that :-) The location is perfect to drive to Barcelona, Girona, the beaches and many more interesting places. But it's also nice and relaxing to spent a day at home with your feet in the pool or on the terrace if you prefer shadow. We've never met Toni himself but we were warmly welcomed by his mother, sister and niece. They were especially nice and kind and had already filled the fridge with a lot of tasty things for breakfast. That has never happened to us in any other holiday home before. The conversation with Toni was excellent from the beginning to the end. He always answered very soon even though he was on holiday himself with this family.

Das Haus war wie beschrieben. Die Location ist toll für Ausflüge nach Girona, Barcelona oder an den Strand. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen und im Kühlschrank waren auch schon ein Sachen für die ersten Tage. Der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war verlief immer prompt und Nett. Fragen wurde meistens innerhalb weniger Minuten beantwortet.

The house is located in a small town and a little hard to find if you don't use GPS guide. The host respones very quickly and give us informative Tipps. If you love pets, here is a good place to stay.

The place was exactly like the pictures and Noelia was easy to communicate with her and she's all the time available, the place it's clean and nice but only for who like the cats and dogs because they let their hair everywhere. Everything passed well even that we did reservation in the same day of our arrival, it's necessary to have a car in that area and to bring your food with you other way you have to go like 10 kilometres till the centre, they show some restaurants and bars like 5 kilometres around in the map but all of them they closed early.

Noelia is a great host, the communication was really easy. The house is really nice, but a bit noisy.

Great place to stay when exploring this part of Spain, only 1/2 hour from Girona airport and about the same to a beach. Really comfortable beds and the pool was fun. Light sleepers or those early to bed should be aware that the host's and neighbour's dogs like a late night chat! With several cats too, being an animal lover is essential. Would definitely stay again.

Very nice appartement in a big house in a quiet neighbourhood. We felt in love of the small black dog! :) But it was not really an entire appartement because we shared the bathroom and kitchen with the owners downstairs.

Too much sounds from the dogs, and there is no more water after 10pm to 6am ...

The time in Hostalric was great! The Apartment was very clean and modern. Agate is a very nice Hostess and helped by many things like the Transfer to the airport.
