Places to stay in Maenan
You’ll love my place because of the view from your bed of the night sky and the view from your windows of fields and wildlife, especially birds. My place is good for couples for a romantic, relaxing getaway and solo adventurers who need time to relax and unwind in a unique space.
The quiet and the friendliness of the locals makes this location special.
Snowdonia and all the local attractions are within easy reach but it's nice to come back to a location out of the touristy area.
  • We have just got back from Nia’s cosy cabin and what a wonderful little break we’ve had. Nia was a lovely host. Everything was very well thought out, from the information provided on arrival to bath robes and slippers for the hot tub. On arrival Nia even put together a lovely little warm welcome gift of jam and scones which I though was a very thoughtful touch. The hot tub was just amazing which we had to ourselves during our stay but had full usage day and night. Beautiful setting of fields and farm animals. Perfect location, quiet and peaceful enough away from touristy areas but only a short journey away from then also. It really was the perfect little stay. Thank you Nia, we hope to be back soon in the future Xx

  • Everything you could ask for in a countryside weekend. Beautiful cosy house with amazing views in peaceful setting - and the hot tub was a lovely touch! Nia was a wonderful host, we'll definitely be visiting again.

  • We stayed at Nia’s tiny house for 4 nights in March. It’s a lovely place on their farm in close proximity to the north wales coast and Snowdonia. The tiny house is lovely, clean and very well done! It has literally everything you need for a week away including a hot tub with wonderful views over the fields and sheep. Nia was very friendly and welcoming and we would be happy to come back and stay again. Thanks so much!

    Gabby2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time at Nia's tiny house. Nia was really friendly and helpful when showing us around. Everything is very well thought out in the space. The hot tub is always perfect temperature and the robes provided make the dash out in the cold a little easier. The location is great, a pub in the village with a few good began options (not really walking distance but easy to get to), and easy enough to get to Snowden too in about half an hour. We didnt want to leave as it was so relaxing. There really are no faults! Will hopefully be back soon!

    Anya2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our time away at Nia’s beautiful home under the stars. Every aspect has been thought about carefully and the scenery and surroundings simply stunning. Would highly recommend and we look forward to returning!

  • Great place in private location close to lovely seaside and countryside

    Shannon2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The tiny cottage was absolutely perfect, tastefully decorated with meaningful touches which made the whole experience extremely special. Nia was absolutely brilliant and provided lots of interesting local recommendations which we took complete advantage of during our break. The cottage had everything we needed for the stay and the kitchen is a lovely space for cooking with an unspoiled view over the table whilst we enjoyed our food. We were close to the main house but it felt incredibly private and access to the hot tub and facilities felt quite secluded which was wonderful. During our stay, we got engaged, this will always be a special place for us. Thank you Nia.

    Kate2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Couldn't recommend Nia's cabin enough! A lovely host, very discrete. The hot tub was amazing! Half an hour from the coast and snowdonia. Would also recommend zip world caverns!

This property is perfectly located in the village of Glan Conwy, North Wales, which has breathtaking views of Conwy estuary. Number 37 is close to the castle town of Conwy, the seaside resort of Llandudno and beautiful Betws-Y-Coed. Whether you want a relaxing break or an action packed adventure, this property is perfect. With Surf Snowdonia, Zip World, Conwy Castle, and Snowdonia National Park on your doorstep you will never be bored!
Number 37 is a small, quirky house in the peaceful village of Glan Conwy. We have all that you need to make your stay comfortable. Just a 2 minute walk from the accommodation is a small shop, cafe, and local pub. There is a great selection of good restaurants and bars in nearby towns. The transport links from Glan Conwy are great, with the train station and bus stop being just at the bottom of the road. We have recently started another Airbnb (Number 41) which is very similar, just across the path from Number 37. So if you fancy a break with friends or family but still want your own space, Number 41 may also be perfect for you.
Number 37 is tucked away down a small path. There are other houses close by, however the property offers a peaceful break. The patio doors from the living area looks out into the garden. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and safe. Please be respectful to the neighbours and only use the hot tub between the hours of 10am-10pm.

  • I took my girlfriend as a beautiful gift, we had an amazing time, the house is very clean, very stylish and has everything you need. You are very close to many beautiful walks and coming to the near by castle is a must. The host made sure we had a perfect time and did everything she could to make sure we enjoyed our time. We’ll defiantly be back and I can’t recommend this beautiful house enough! Bellissima! 👌🏼👌🏼

  • Idyllic stay away from the busy city topped off with a private hot tub 😍

    Samantha2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Number 37 was an impeccably clean, cosy space. The location was perfect, a great base to get around and explore. The hot tub was particularly appreciated!

    Rebecca2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • The house is really nice, quiet and well placed. We were just after a short night away but could easily have stayed for days and days. The hot tub is a winner too! On a separate note, the house is immaculately clean... so clean in fact it is noticeable compared to other places I have stayed. Given the current climate this was really important to us and was something we were grateful for. If this is how the house is always kept, then don’t change anything!

    Ben2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay at Number 37! Becky was responsive and thought of everything to make make us feel welcome and at home. The house was spotless and the hot tub was a real treat. Would definitely recommend!

Our Cabin has a Queen size bed, a single Z-bed (if requested), a mini wet room with Toilet and Shower and a kitchen unit. The hot water is supplied by a small tank, so quick showers are necessary! The cabin is separate from the main house. There is a TV / DVD and drink making facilities. The cabin has a fridge, a mini oven with dual hob. If you need any crockery or cutlery that's not already in the cabin, feel free to ask!
Our cabin is within the Snowdonia National Park and has very easy access to the A55 expressway. We're 5 minutes from Penmaenmawr, which boasts a range of take aways and a locally renowned restaurant. Conwy is 10 minutes away, with its town walls, historic Castle and a great array of Pubs and Restaurants.
Dwygyfylchi has a village atmosphere, with a parade of 2 shops, 2 excellent pubs, an Austrian Restaurant, an Indian Restaurant and Golf club. The locals are friendly and the atmosphere relaxed.
  • The cabin was amazing! It was just as good as any hotel room, but a third the price. Location is ideal too, right at the base of some mountain trails, down the street from two convenience stores, and 3 miles from the historic town of Conwy. There are some good restaurants too just a 15 minute walk down the road.

    Nicholas2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • A great location from which to explore the northern Welsh countryside. It was easy to find and access to the major roads was excellent, the room was lovely and cosy and the cabin was slightly bigger than I expected. The bed was super comfortable and the hot water was very hot. Lovely place.

    Kevin2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place to stay for exploring the beautiful North Wales countryside. Has everything you need, and with the heater on we were plenty warm enough for a winter stay. Dan and Jackie gave good communication and directions and instructions.

    Andrew2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • Dan is a very friendly person, very easy to communicate and very knowledgeable about things to do nearby. The cabin itself is a mini castle with everything that's required and even more such as an Xbox. Had a very comfortable stay and definitely recommend this place.

The attic bedroom has not everywhere full head height, but is perfectly suitable for sleeping and still offers plenty of room despite being underneath the roof and has got 2 velux windows. • Lovely quiet location perfect to escape the world and relax.

    Stuart2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The photos on the website do not truly reflect this lovely spacious property. The house is well equipped especially the large kitchen. The lounge is large but homely. A group of five, we all loved this house and would recommend it. The area is a bit hilly a consideration if you an to leave your car parked.

    Barbara2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described on the website and reviews. Had a wonderfully relaxing family weekend in a beautiful setting. Hope to go back soon

    Daniel2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning property with fantastic views and great location to explore North Wales and Snowdonia national park. We stayed over Christmas and the house was wonderful. Kathi was a very attentive host, checking everything was ok, she even brought a baby lamb to meet the children. We appreciated there being a Christmas tree for the children to open presents under Christmas morning. A beautiful rural feel and we had a wonderful Christmas. Thank you.

Glamping Pods are set on a family run farm within stunning views of the north wales coast, and surrounded by panoramic views looking out to the sea. Been told by so many that the pictures do NOT do it any justice. There is a petrol station and a shop 1/2 mile down the road, 3 miles from the town of Abergele, which hosts a range of different takeaways and a Tesco’s. We have two pods. So if the dates needed are not available, please contact me via inbox
The space: We have two glamping pods which sleeps 4 in each, both include bedding and heaters. So very cosy in winter too. One pod has a double bunk and two single beds , and the other has a double and a double sofa bed. Both have their own kitchen with kettle, toaster, cutlery, cooking hob, utensils, tea and coffee facilities etc. BREAKFAST ISNT INCLUDED. A shared toilet and shower block with a mini fridge both have HEATING. Bath towels NOT supplied so please bring your own if needed. WIFI will be arriving soon. The neighbourhood: The farm is blessed with an abundance of wild life. Our farm animals include sheep, cows, horses, and alpacas. We are conveniently located to explore the beautiful scenery of North Wales for all you keen cyclists and walkers. There is a variety of different activities to do within a 10 mile radius. We are more than happy to help with and questions or directions
  • Would highly reccomend, great location next to the beach, lots of lovely pups around.

  • Enjoyed our 3 night stay which we used as a base whilst house hunting in the area. Would like to stay again minus the gale force winds 😉

  • A cosy pod which was warm and had every thing we needed including a couple of drinks awaiting our arrival very thoughtful.

    Allison2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Communication was prompt, found the place really easily. Check in was easy. The pods were ideally placed with great views of the Bay. Michael turned up later with a beer, thank you. Remember this is a working farm. We got the chance to see the lambs and calves and my lad fed one we will be back

    Matt2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place to stay. Glam pod was comfortable warm and cosy. Everything was clean and everything apart from food was available. Tea coffee sugar biscuits and even a can of him and tonic and a beer. Will definitely go back in the summer to get the best out of the views. Great facility well done.

The Old Rectory is a spacious home that features hardwood chevron floors and open spaces lit by beautiful chandeliers. Watch a film in the 3D movie room, wander the beautiful grounds outside. The garden has an infinity effect with direct panoramic views over the estuary, mountains and even the castle direct from the garden and many of the bedrooms. No photograph can capture this. With 8 bedrooms and enough space to sleep up to 24 you can enjoy special occasions all together and even eat together for that special occasion in the 24 seated dining room with antique carved oak table and chairs.
Beautiful accommodation with fine furnishing and yet is homely and welcoming. The Old Rectory sits in a unique and beautiful setting.
Beyond the breath-taking panoramic views over Conwy Estuary and Conwy Castle, the home's location makes it easy to explore North Wales. Go zip-lining and dry slope skiing before taking the steam railway to family beaches and hiking trails.
  • Lovely stay with a wonderful host for our 30th birthday celebrations. Beautiful surrounds!

    Kate2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Carolines property is not only beautiful, its made more perfect because Caroline is such an excellent host. From preparing the house for our arrival, she went out of her way to help / advise us. We had so many questions for her and she was always so helpful and replied almost immediately every time. She also saved us, due to a chef pulling out at the last minute, she gave us her contacts and we found someone who was happy to cater for us as they had such a good relationship with Caroline. Would love to go back one day .

    Sandy2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay celebrating New Year at The Old Rectory. Caroline had made such an effort with lovely Christmas decorations and our stay was faultless from check in to check out. Great communication, would stay again!

  • This property was brilliant and we all as a family thoroughly enjoyed our stay over the weekend.

    Elin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This house is absolutely gorgeous, the decoration, the finishing touches, the attention to detail, the views. It is the most ideal venue for a gathering with friends and family. You will not be dissappointed. Thank you to Caroline too who is a superb host.

    Tracy2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful house-comfortable, clean and spacious. Amazing views from the garden and hot tub. A perfect home for large family gatherings - Caroline has thought of everything families might need. A great location from which to explore North Wales.

    Ruth2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • As you reach the top of the driveway your breath is literally taken away as you can then fully appreciate the stunning location, set amongst manicured gardens, and a view "to die for" across the estuary. But then you venture inside..and the wow factor increases. Large spacious rooms , a home from home feel, and the feeling gets better and better. Nothing is too much trouble for Caroline. Her attention to detail is without par..fluffy bathrobes and slippers for one and all, a welcome box of goodies, and you immediately know your stay is going to be extra special..and ours was ! Caroline is an extra special host...don't even think twice..book now !

    David2019-07-18T00:00:00Z

  • The Nook is in a lovely location in Wales, with some wonderful villages nearby for food and walks. It's a lovely place to stay if you want some time away to relax and escape. The place was more than we expected and we would definitely recommend to others. The Nook was very clean. We had added extras with some drinks and chocolates upon arrival and a lovely set up with wifi connecting to a smart TV which was nice to use in the evenings.

The attention to detail both within the Nook itself and with the communication from the host made it such a great stay. • Waking up in this wood-tucked abode is like nothing else. Imagine waking up, looking out your window, and your whole view is taken up by mountains, trees, and sky. All this while being a short drive away from one of the most famous stone villages and local grocery stores and restaurants. During our stay, we cooked every night (because we like to cook) and the kitchen could do everything we needed it to. The style of the place is sleek and eclectic and our host couldn't be more hospitable. Thanks, Sylvia!

  • A cosy cabin set in a wonderful landscape. Despite the weather, we had a wonderful time exploring the local area. We were well looked after by Sylvia with provisions and warm fish and chips after a local powercut for a few hours! A very clean space and a great outside area which would be amazing to use later in the year. Would definitely come back.

  • Place for nature lovers as it is on the edge of the forest with plenty of bird feeders around and their guest singing from the morning. Small but mighty, warm even in winter with efficient fires and hot shower. Helpful lighting everywhere, parking light, motion lamps leading you to the house. Perfect for two.

Snowdonia and all the local attractions are within easy reach but it's nice to come back to a location out of the touristy area.
  • We had a magical stay at the pond and stars cabin. From relaxing on the swing chair to exploring all the sights around North Wales; it was a perfect base for our trip and lovely to come back to. We even spotted a kingfisher! Many thanks to Nia.

    Zara2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The Cabin is spotless, loved the tranquility of the area and sitting out on the balcony watching the ducks and sheep. Would definitely come back

  • Amazing stay, everything about it was perfect. Will definitely be back!

    Emma2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location, everything surpassed our expectations. The lodge is done out beautifully and has everything you could possibly need.

    Emma2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place (if you are looking for a very modern contemporary design). Lovely views of the rolling countryside, especially enjoyed watching the sheep in the fields above. Great location for the coast and also Snowdonia. The only thing I’d say is, you need a car! The pub in the nearest village is too far away to stumble home! Our stay was very peaceful and relaxing, just what we were looking for.

    Bex2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Such a lovely place to stay!!

    Charley2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • If you are looking for some peace and seclusion to really switch off, I would highly recommend. The cabin is really well designed in a great location and the lake is so calming and view at sunrise was breathtaking! Nia was a really warm host and I would definitely return.

    Lauren2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is absolutely fantastic if you want to get away from city life and have a few days of country living close to many outdoor activities. It is around 40 mins to drive to both the ZipWorld and Snowdon. Interiorly, it is beautifully done up and fully kitted and being on the waters edge makes this just magical, with views of the stars! Thanks Nia.

  • Jo’s Place, The Studio was perfect for our stay in North Wales. The photos do not do the location or accommodation the justice they deserve. Definitely recommend staying, with a short distance to Snowdonia, Anglesea and the North Coast it’s perfect for those wanting to see the area.

    Ben2020-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Jo’s, met with a warm welcome and a warm place to stay there were extra little touches that Jo had left such as some bread and milk. Great facilities, perfect for washing our walking clothing. Our dog was happy sharing the field with Bob the horse! Quiet and peaceful location just a short drive from everything you want to explore in Wales, thank you :)

    Harriet2020-03-20T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful area and very friendly hosts, so handy having everything we needed in the one place. No need to bring your own cutlery as it was provided, along with a few extra items. We really enjoyed our stay in the studio, especially our dog Khan who loved meeting Bob the horse and running around in the forest at the back. Can’t wait to stay again next time!

    Amber2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful stay at The Studio! It’s so cosy and had everything we could possibly want. It was in a perfect location for us as we wanted a peaceful weekend but was a great spot for visiting nearby places (Llandudno, Snowdonia etc.) Jo and Bryan were fantastic hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. They made us feel so welcome! Highly recommend this stay to anyone :) We fell in love with Bob and Luna!

    Josh2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • We visited for our honeymoon and Jo had gone out of her way to make the place look really romantic for our arrival, along with leaving us a little gift. This was our second visit and we had the most relaxing week at the studio. Our dog loves playing with Luna, and they were staring at each other out the windows from early hours, waiting to be allowed out to play! My favourite part of this trip was lying in bed with the heated blanket on, log fire lit and listening to the rain on the skylight. We couldn't recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.

    Catherine2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The Studio is in a lovely location. Jo is very welcoming. The bed is really comfortable, complete with an electric blanket. If you're looking to stay in the area, don't hesitate to book.

  • Great place, great hosts, great value! Grant was really quick with replies and making sure the check in process was as smooth as possible! He was there to greet us when we arrived, and provided lots of tips for nearby walking routes and pubs. The place itself is a private guest suite at the end of the house. It had everything we needed, and was really comfortable! Thank you for a lovely stay!

  • A really lovely little space in a nice area with lots of walks and easy access into the hills. Stayed for a couple of days of walking and the warm, cozy heated room was very welcome after walking in freezing cold rain. The tea, milk and biscuits was a nice touch and Grant and Jaqui provided loads of helpful tips for local things to see and do. Would definitely come back if in the area again.

    Charlie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was perfect: the place, originally a pub, was refurbished in a really beautiful and stylish manner while retaining its warm and homely charm. It was spotless clean, the bed is super comfy, and there were a lot of thought through details throughout the flat (rustic walls but modern windows, great lighting, good heating). The flat is in a perfect location for exploring Snowdonia - really quiet but easy to access. A car is recommended though. Grant and Jacqui were super helpful, including when we needed to detour to find their place due to flooding of some roads. We are grateful and now well rested and will definitely try to come back.

  • My boyfriend and I had a lovely weekend here. The guest suite was really clean, warm and comfortable. It had everything we needed (wifi, TV with Netflix etc, microwave, kettle, toaster) and the bed was super comfortable. It is ideally situated for any of the Zip World attractions and Surf World Snowdonia, as well as exploring Snowdonia, and the lovely little villages. Grant and Jaqui gave us good recommendations for dinner and helped us to plan our routes around Storm Dennis. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in this part of Wales and we are hoping to return in the summer!

    Bobbie2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you Grant and Jaqui for a lovely weekend We had booked it last minute to celebrate me passing some big exams and I was wanting to get out as I'd been feeling cooked up studying for so long! We had a great time and your ".... guest bit down the end.." is a perfect base for exploring the area. Very conveniently located for mountain biking on the Marin trail down the road and for climbing Snowdon. You were extremely helpful and informative and would definitely recommend you to anyone wanting to stay in the area. Thank you Catherine and Simon.

  • This place is a must see. The lake and hills surrounding this beautiful cottage are begging to be explored. I just wish we had the time to do so ourselves properly. Stunning!!

  • Absolutely incredible location. So much to see and do. The walk around the lake is beautiful, even without going up the mountains there are so many beautiful waterfalls and streams. I have issues with my mobility and still had the most incredible time! Chrissie is a fabulous host. I have already sent the link to this place to my family and friends and will be visiting again in the summer!

    Joanna2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful cosy cottage on the side of a lovely secluded lake. We spent 5 days watching the rain sweep over the lake whilst reading and sitting by the fire. The walk around the lake was lovely and we saw no one the whole time which was perfect! Very comfortable bed and too.

    Joseph2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage in an idyllic place. We couldn’t enjoy much around because of the weather, but it looked like it had some nice walks around. The cottage has everything you need, including logs and coal for the fireplace. We used it as main source of heat and our bill was £15 for 3 nights plus some coal we brought with us. We didn’t hear the bedrooms since the duvets they provide were pretty heavy and more than enough to sleep warm and cozy.

    Ana Paula2020-01-14T00:00:00Z

Eirian's place was comfortable, well appointed, sparklingly clean, and just all around lovely. She gave us excellent tips for places to eat and left delicious Welsh cakes for our arrival. Could not recommend the place more.

  • Beautiful coach house in a picturesque location; clean, comfortable, quiet and cosy - the perfect location for a romantic getaway, a walking holiday or a family trip! Eirian is a fantastic host with excellent local knowledge, she was extremely welcoming on arrival and there to help with any issues or queries throughout. Betws-y-Coed is a short drive from the property so make sure you bring a car if you want to explore. I’d recommend eating at the Grillhouse at the Royal Oak Hotel, or if you fancy a takeaway the Hangin’ Pizzeria next to the station do great pizzas! 10/10, would visit again - thank you very much Eirian!

This ancient, stone-built cottage offers a luxurious getaway in the heart of North Wales, minutes from Snowdonia, Conwy and Llandudno. The cottage has been lovingly renovated to a very high standard, and features a peaceful, nature-filled garden with far-reaching views. You don't want to miss out on the huge two-person soaking tub, perfect to relax in after a day's hiking. This is our home away from home that we want to share while we travel, and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
The cottage is hundreds of years old, and as such is a cosy, characterful space. The cottage is warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and is filled with art, colour, comfortable furniture and interesting objects. We both love to walk, and after a day up in the mountains, nothing is better than a soak in the two-person round, stone bathtub in the "post-apocalyptic chique" bathroom, or sitting on the Japanese cedarwood stool under the pouring rainfall shower. The bathrooms have heated floors; one slate, one copper - we hope you like our twist on traditional Welsh materials. After a soak, it's time for dinner. Take your pick from al fresco in the garden under the apple tree, sometimes with a roaring fire in the firepit, or dine at the hardwood peninsula in the fully-featured kitchen, on tractor seat (from actual tractors) stools. They have the seal of approval from my 86 year old grandfather, so it goes without saying that they're comfortable. Once you've dined, it's relaxation time - let the dishwasher deal with the hard stuff, and either kick back in the living room in front of the enamelled barge stove and TV, or relax in the summer-house in the garden, watching the sun set over the mountains, while sheep and birds serenade you. Finally, it's time for bed. Upstairs, the two bedrooms each offer space for two - the master has a king-sized antique bed (antique, as it is in part 17th c. and in part 19th c., but has very 21st c. comfort!), 1920's gentlemen's wardrobe, and views to the mountains, and the second bedroom has two 1930's twin beds, and a 1930's wardrobe. Don't forget the aeroplane, I'm told. There's an aeroplane. Hanging from the ceiling. In the master bedroom. I hope you like it. I do.
Apple Tree Cottage is positioned on the edge of Ty'n-y-Groes, with far reaching views to Carnedd Llewelyn. The seaside towns of Conwy and Llandudno are a ten minute drive away, and the picturesque town of Llanrwst is ten minutes in the opposite direction. The mountains, and some really beautiful and quiet walks, are a five minute drive to the west, through Rowen. The nearest large supermarkets (Tesco & Asda) are in Llandudno Junction, ten minutes away. There is also a co-op in Llanrwst, about the same distance away. The nearest pub, Ty Gwyn in Rowen, is a fifteen minute walk, or three minute drive. They have a riverside garden, which is a nice place to stop for a pint (or dinner) after a day in the hills.

  • Very well situated within easy reach of the best of North Wales. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud. The accommodation was perfectly clean and neat and has all of the basic necessities. I’m definitely going back!

  • A lovely apartment. Very clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay. Despite being just off a main (but not busy) road the location is very quiet and peaceful. The garden is lovely and the friendly cat is now my best buddy. This is a great base from which to drive around North Wales from. We went into Snowdonia National park as well as up to Anglesey and both were relatively short drives. I would recommend Sally and Sam as hosts and would be happy to stay here again.

    Samantha2019-09-25T00:00:00Z
  • Sally and Sam's place was perfect for visiting the sights around Snowdonia. It was clean, comfortable and had everything I could need. I only met Sally, but she was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here!

  • This little house is in a beautiful, quiet location. It's close to Conwy with the hills on your doorstep. It's comfortable, clean and has all the facilities you need. There is even a little garden with a pond that guests can use. Sally and Sam are friendly, welcoming hosts. We'd recommend this place to anyone looking for countryside, peace and quiet but close enough to the amenities of Conwy.

Additional sleeping area with air beds on the mezzanine above the bedroom. Totally self contained with shower, toilet & breakfast bar. Storage available for cycles.

Chinese takeaway, Bangladeshi restaurant/takeaway.
  • We stayed at Alison's place for 2 nights and found it well located in the Conwy Valley for our trips out. Its a nice setup very clean and has some nice touches. The Welsh cakes were delicious and Frank the dog is well cute. Coming from a busy town it was nice to wake up to the sound of wildlife. We enjoyed the board game selection and the we'd like to return for another stay. Only 30 mins or less from Conwy, Llandudno and beautiful coastal areas. Thank you.

  • A fantastic holiday in an idyllic location. This is the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in with such thoughtful touches. Every space contains a new delight - from hot water bottles to a picnic set. The apartment has supplies ready to go for a hearty breakfast whilst you read through the local tips and brochures. A true gem.

    Alison2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks for a great stay. Very high quality, breakfast stuff really nice plus honesty box for snacks and wine! Pub etc down the road. A top quality experience

    Boris 2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • The best Airbnb we’ve stayed in! The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped. There was lots of thoughtful touches from board games to dressing gowns etc... We were surprised to arrived to a fully stocked fridge and cupboards all for us to use. Dave was a great host and easy to contact and very helpful. Could not recommend this place enough and would definitely re-book!

    Molly2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best airBnBs we’ve ever stayed at! Quiet, perfectly clean, awesome walks and it has been better stocked than most uni student fridges! Everything you need is there! Literally everything! We are looking at coming back in summer.

    Lauren2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Dave’s place is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in - & we’ve stayed in quite a few! Accommodation is beautiful & has everything you could need for a few days away inc brekkie bits (always a massive plus). We used it as a base to go to Conwy, Blaenau Ffestiniog & for walks around the local area. We’re already planning our next trip to north Wales & we’d 100% stay at Fron Bach again.

    Emily2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect setting, beautiful accommodation and amenities and the best of Snowdonia on the doorstep. Dave 's attention to detail and looking after his guests are second to none. Highly recommended!

  • Would 100% recommend staying at “Fron Bach” we arrived late on the night to wake up to an incredible view of Snowdonia with an appropriate snow shower. Visited Conwy castle, a scenic 20 minute drive away. This house is a great location with plenty within half an hour drive. Host Dave was incredibly generous with and visibly has a strong attention to detail. We would highly recommend visiting. Thanks again James

  • Edna’s place is lovely and clean with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed a short break there on the farm. Edna and Mai are warm and helpful. You just need to be aware that the farm is up in the hills and access is along some long narrow lanes.

    Andrew2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing space attached to the farmhouse. It's got great cooking amenities and is well appointed. The hosts made sure someone was home to check us in which was quick an easy. It's was amazingly quiet and we'd happily go back.

This newly refurbished property is perfectly located in the village of Glan Conwy, North Wales, which has breathtaking views of Conwy estuary. Number 41 is close to the castle town of Conwy, the seaside resort of Llandudno and beautiful Betws-Y-Coed. Whether you want a relaxing break or an action packed adventure, this property is perfect. With Surf Snowdonia, Zip World, and Snowdonia National Park on your doorstep you will never be bored. We welcome dogs at no extra cost.
Number 41 is a small, quirky house in the peaceful village of Glan Conwy. The open plan living is comfortable and stylish, and the small enclosed garden area is private and peaceful. The bedroom is on a Mezzanine floor which over looks the living area. There is a king sized bed in the bedroom and we also have a sofa bed, so could accommodate a party of 4. We have very recently installed a hot tub in the garden. To ensure our guests can relax in privacy we have raised the fences. We chose not to cover the tub so that you can enjoy gazing at the stars. Perfect!! Just a 2 minute walk from the accommodation is a small shop, cafe and local pub. There is a great selection of good restaurants and bars in nearby towns. The transport links from Glan Conwy are great, with the train station and bus stop being just at the bottom of the road.
Number 41 is tucked away down a small path. There are other houses close by, however the property does offer a peaceful break. The small garden area is enclosed so perfect for dogs. The neighbourhood is quiet, friendly and safe. If you are looking for a getaway with friends or family but would like your own space, we also own Number 37 which is another holiday house situated opposite Number 41.

Great 'SELF ISOLATION' for coast and the Snowdonia mountains alike. Clwt Bedw is a charming, olde worlde, quirky, traditional cottage. It is wonderfully private, SECLUDED AND REMOTE. Located in the hills above Maenan. It's a very simple, basic cottage, modestly furnished yet oozes quirky cuteness ! Pet accepted upon agreed terms & conditions. Electricity is extra by meter reading -ranges from £3-£8 per day and is reflected in the lower nightly rate.
The cottage is quirky and cute. It is basic and simply furnished. If you like character and an olde worlde feel this is the place for you. Clwt Bedw is graded 3* by the Visit Wales Tourism. Heating is by overnight storage heaters, convector/fan heaters and the open fire in the lounge. There is no central heating. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO GET AWAY FRO THIS VIRUS. • A great place for a relaxing tranquil break. Lovely cosy cottage and very helpful hosts. The welcome folder was extremely helpful with all the information you would need and more. Great garden area for the dog to play......also great for a BBQ if the weather allows. Would definitely stay again.

  • We had the best stay in this beautiful cottage. We have stayed in North Wales many times and have never stayed anywhere so perfect. The cottage was extremely clean, warm, cosy, full of character, beautiful gardens. Everything you could possibly need is in the cottage. We will definitely be returning! Please do not hesitate to book this cottage! You will not regret it.

  • Fantastic place. Remote, beautiful, full of character and homely. This place was perfect.

  • This cottage was so cute. The navigator sent us different ways each & every time so I wasn’t sure if we were lost or not. I used google maps with vodafone sim and we did get there every time, I had limited phone service but the WiFi worked amazingly. I would listen to Christine’s advice regarding coal for the fire I was amazed at the difference it made to the heat. Being a stone cottage it did get cold. 1 basket of wood a night was ample for us we would put it on around 5 or 6pm and go to bed around 10 or 11pm

  • Can’t recommend this place enough! Frances and Pete are outstanding hosts - open, warm and incredibly helpful. They gave us recommendations for walks and local coffee shops, left breakfast for us and made sure we had a great (as well as safe) stay. The en-suite room and the kitchen (which was for our use too) were fantastically equipped, outstandingly clean, warm and cozy. In a nutshell: fabulous stay with exceptional hosts.

    Anita2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say, Francis and Pete are the embodiment of what Airbnb is all about. Excellent hosts, great place and the list can go on forever. We’ll return again for sure, we visit the area monthly and we’ll certainly book with them again.

  • Everything was perfect, we were greeted by Fran and Pete, both lovely. They showed us where everything was and how it worked. As it was my boyfriends birthday they even left little chocolates :). Great local knowledge, we visited one of the restaurants recommend (Indian restaurant) and it was as they described, 'award winning'. The room was lovely and clean, even had a hairdryer in the wardrobe, absolute bonus. Asked to borrow an iron and it was delived within 1 minute!! Great little setting, fabulous hosts, would recommend to anyone.

  • Excellent location, a short walk away from lots of beautiful places and a short drive away from some lovely towns and villages. We stayed for a weekend with friends and everyone was extremely pleased with the cottage, the little touches and the information. We were left to ourselves, but it was clear that if we needed anything, we only had to ask (the perfect balance). We would definitely come back.

Due to the current crisis, the cottage is unavailable for bookings until May (this will be updated as necessary ) I apologise for this, but we need to comply with the government’s plea for avoiding unnecessary travel and not causing extra strain on the local health service. Stay safe everyone. “Seren Las" is a bright but cosy cottage just outside the town walls of Conwy. Shops, pubs and restaurants are a two minute stroll away. On road parking is available.
  • Lovely stylish and immaculate little gem in very close walking distance of Conwy Town, definitely recommend to others and would stay again when visiting

  • Such a quaint and beautiful little cottage stay. An ideal location, as it was only a very small walk from Conwy centre. Nerys was so helpful and understanding as a host, absolutely perfect communication. I would recommend this peaceful and cosy home to anyone!

    Andrew2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage (situated just outside of the hustle and bustle of Conwy) is beautifully decorated and sparkling clean, it felt so cosy and home like, the owner had a few little “welcome” added extras which was lovely and fantastic local tips! Nerys also responded quickly to any queries we had which made our stay very relaxed and peaceful! We hope to be coming back in the very near future!

  • Beautiful home and base for a lovely stay in Conwy! The cottage is perfectly decorated to feel cosy but not small, extra comfortable bed, and fantastic local tips! We will be coming back!

This gives you plenty of space to store muddy boots or clothing and kit, leaving the hut free of clutter.

  • The stay in this cosy hut was so lovely. The view was incredible - could see valleys and mountains out of the window! The nearby town - Betws-y-Coed was really lovely to visit - worth exploring. The host was really friendly and helpful. The extra finishing touches around the hut were super special as we didn’t expect it & it made us feel like she cared and thought of us which was a nice feeling. A good base to explore the beautiful scenery around the area. Would definitely return :)

  • What a wonderful stay we had! We spent Valentine’s Day in Helen & John’s beautiful hut and it did not disappoint... The warmest of welcomes from Helen on our arrival. We really appreciated the essentials provided for our stay as well as so many thoughtful touches- Helen your baked goods are incredible! Despite the awful weather the views from the hut were to die for!! The hut itself was spotlessly clean, cosy and secluded. The location is ideal for exploring Betws-y-Coed and beyond. Without doubt we be will returning very soon and we can not recommend staying here more!

  • Our stay was absolutely lovely. The hut is fantastic and very warm and cosy. As soon as we arrived we were blown away by the view from the hut and the homemade treats left for us inside. It’s in a great spot for people looking to explore the area and there’s plenty of room to store walking equipment etc. We looked forward to coming back to the hut and cooking dinner after a day of walking. The underfloor heating was particularly welcome after a long day in wet weather! Helen and John were really friendly and helpful and perfect hosts all round. We were made to feel very welcome. 10/10 from us! 😃xx

    Laura2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • 100% recommend Helen and John’s place! We had a fabulous few days. It’s in a great location and though the hut is small it has absolutely everything you need. Helen goes above and beyond to make your stay special and we really appreciated all of the small touches. Having milk, bread etc was so lovely as it meant we didn’t need to worry about going to the shop straight away. The baked goods were amazing and honestly it was the best chocolate cupcake I’ve ever eaten!! Thanks again for a wonderful stay :)

The Nook is a very special little cottage full of character and personality one you will want to return to and call your own special hideaway.
  • The Nook is a fantastic place to stay if you’re looking to get away to somewhere peaceful. The cottage has beautiful views and feels very tranquil but equally you’re not that far a drive from amenities. It’s in good proximity to Snowdon too. The cottage itself is immaculately clean, stylishly and thoughtfully decorated with very high quality fittings and furnishings. Very comfortable bed, warm shower and a kitchen with everything you could need! Loved the wood burner for cosy nights in after a hike. Alison was very quick to respond and provided lots of recommendations for what to see, do and where to eat/drink locally. We would love to return!

    Lisa2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Alison’s little cottage is beautiful and set in lovely surroundings with a great view. The cottage was very cute and cosy and had plenty of great amenities and little touches. It is in a brilliant location for Conwy and Llandudno and many other locations in North Wales. Alison gave us some great tips on the local area which were very helpful. Overall a fantastic stay. Thank you.

  • The Nook is the perfect spot for a getaway in North Wales. Super cosy, a great local pub a short walk from the doorstep, and stunning scenery. Betws-y-Coed is about a 25 minute drive away and perfect for a day out, and though we didn’t venture much further due to the weather during our stay, it was still a perfect visit!

    Kathy2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Cottage was perfect and cosy just what we needed in storm Dennis! We shall be back in the summer! Lovely finishing touches gorgeous location!

    Helen2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Nook is idyllic in every sense. The cottage is spotlessly clean, with many thoughtful touches to make our stay extra special. It’s location in the hills is stunning, with easy travel to local towns. Alison was informative about check in and local amenities. A perfect way to begin 2020.

    Fern2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • I have used air bnb a great deal over the last few years but this was unquestionably the best one I have stayed in. The house has been modernised to a very high standard, and obviously at great expense. We really liked the tasteful decor in the house, and as it was Christmas Alison had got a real tree in, which was just fantastic. Loads of effort put into making our stay as nice as could be - roses, chocolates, logs, lights, candles and loads more really thoughtful touches all around the house. All noticed and all appreciated. There was a clear guide to using the house and lots of locals tips on amenities. Alison obviously wants her guests to get the most out of stays here and she messaged us with lots of things to see and do around the area as well and was easily contacted through the air bnb app. I have to say that was one of the most comfortable beds ive slept in for quite a while and id love to know where she got the bed and bedding from! What a house and a location. Highly recommended for the couple looking for a romantic place away in the Welsh hills. Diolch yn fawr :)
