Our guest house is located in the middle of the Thuringian Forest near Oberhof and Rennsteig (about 3 km), directly at the idyllic Lütsche reservoir, a 14 hectare swimming lake. Directly behind the house on the edge of the forest, you can relax wonderfully on the private barbecue area, and in summer the lake on your doorstep offers refreshing cooling with excellent water quality. Guest cards are also offered for anglers. The house is a perfect starting point for hiking, cycling and cross-country skiing tours.

The house is located in a quiet garden without directly adjacent main road. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love them because of the heavenly tranquility, the little door in the woods and still only 20 km away to Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and larger groups. Unless it is about uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.

Functional apartment in half-timbered "Unter der Linde"

Bad Tabarz is a traditional place in the middle of the Thuringian forest. The small quiet apartment is located in the center of the place. Restaurants and shops can be found within a radius of about 300 m. The accommodation is particularly suitable for cyclists (with and without motor), visitors to our spa clinics, but of course also as a starting point for hikes, climbing tours and a visit to the spa and family bath "Tabbs“.
