This small house in Llan is a dream! After a long drive from Pamplona via Gijon / Ribadeo, we did not know what to expect. In Taramundi (1,5 km from Llan away !!!) Rosa picked us up and escorted to the small house. Rosa is professional and friendly at the same time. She gave us tips on where special events are held and where museums are. Just great! For someone who is looking for peace, Llan is the perfect place. Keen walkers, is also very well cared for. Llan is rural. There are farms around it. Little owls were heard at dusk. We were immediately in love with this little house, which was left largely in the traditional / original state. That is well equipped; complete kitchen with washing machine, lounge with TV are in the basement. The bathroom and two bedrooms (2x double bed) on the first floor can be reached through a quaint spiral staircase. Another staircase leads to the bedroom on the top floor (twin beds). Sleeps six people !!!! So many chestnut trees (chestnuts) as in this region, I have never seen. Who likes to eat chestnuts, is in good hands here. In Taramundi cider is produced! In the area much to see. Mondenedo with its massive cathedral is not far. Incidentally, the roads are very well developed, they are only now and then narrow.

Rosa is super helpful and friendly, he was very attentive to us at all times. The house is like a story, loved the stay there and would definitely repeat if we return to Taramundi.

Curra has a beautiful house. Great design and a very pleasant atmosphere. We loved the little patio, which is cool when its hot (not so often in this region) and stays warm when it cools down at night. Our kids (7 and 5) were happy playing in all the secret corners of the house. Noelia, the caretaker, was very kind and helpful and made us feel welcome and at home. This is definitely a great place to stay and to use as a starting point to discover the beautiful Lugo province.

Absolutely adored this beautiful farmhouse conversion! We were both in awe of the place and it was obvious to see how much hard work had gone into the restoration. We didn't have the best weather for the few nights we stayed but it didn't matter - the wood burner was a great comfort and the sofas were so comfy to sit and lounge on reading for hours on end! The house was so comfortable and had absolutely everything we needed. Lovely little town as well - we enjoyed a menu deal dia and an evening meal on another night at Meson a Mina. Would highly recommend and would love to return!

Highly recommended. Very nice cozy house and a great attention from Curra. very functional, large spaces with basic but comfortable furniture. The house has reading corners for every taste, temperature and time of day. The area is ideal. Very calm. At 100 meters from Eo river, swimming pool, tennis and paddle tennis and greenway. With possibility to rent bicycles at the bar of the cultural center. Fifteen minutes from Taramundi and its corners. An awful lot of spectacular places to visit in 50 kilometers around. Deck Mered, Beach of the Cathedrals and Peñarronda (and other less crowded), ethnographic museums Os Teixois and Grandas, River and River Eo (highly recommended cross it in canoe), Sierra de la Bobia, Pool Illano, Poza San Tirso de Abres, etc. Care to do short stay and the house itself, it is one of those that are enjoyed. We were looking for a special place for this trip. Just 2 of us and calmness. And Curra's place was just perfect for this plan. After hustle and bustle of Moscow and few flights on the day of arrival, we could not believe in silence and beauty of surroundings. And house by itself is perfect! it is easy to notice that Curra is a designer, every detail is considered and made with love. Except aesthetic component she was extremely nice and helpful host - my husband and i forgot driving license at home, even having reservation at Europecar we could not get our vehicle, so we did need help. As a result we got great company and concurrently our driver amazing Noelia. The note to future guests : double check your driving license as it is very important to have a car here. As a result we had magical recharging vacation and highly recommend this listing to all people looking for escape in a tranquil place.

We have spent a few days in this house and I have q say they have been wonderful. The house is fully equipped, it is comfortable and recently renovated. The setting is amazing and is really close to a lot of sites to visit: Beach of the cathedrals and surrounding beaches to the beach of the cathedrals, Ribadeo, Taramundi and its surroundings ... But most certainly the people of the village , treats you like they know you lifelong. Questions one thing and you have all your life, you open your home etc ..
