At the waters edge of Lake Tapps you’ll find our cabana. It’s hidden and private within our residential property. You’ll have the entire waterfront of our parcel to yourself. Fish off the dock, kayak, or just relax in seclusion. Outdoors you’ll find a large covered porch, fireplace and hot tub. Inside- a queen wall Bed, fireplace, cable TV, Wifi. It’s not as large as the pics make it seem but it’s comfortable. Please be aware the shower is in an outdoor room accessed through the bathroom.

Cute Lakefront Home!

This is a beautiful space with a view of the lake. My parents (the owners) live upstairs, and are available if needed. I am also close by and available by phone any time. This is a one bedroom one bathroom space with a large living room and fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans and a few spices and a beautiful view of the private lake. We have a paddle boat and kayak available to use when the weather is good. Please note while there is basic WiFi available, it is fairly low speed.

Africa in Auburn - Treehouse

Our tree-house, built by Pete Nelson of Treehouse Masters, aired as the African Safari Hut. The professionally designed interior is filled with African artifacts. It was designed to be a writer's cottage for Skeeter who is an author and an African historian. Skeeter and Jacque love having guests stay at the treehouse, especially writers and artists looking for a retreat to work on their craft. With few exceptions, the treehouse is available for stays of 2 to 7 days.

Cozy studio in barn loft with a close-up view to secluded wooded setting. Two large, leather recliners provide a relaxing place to read or nap! This space was repurposed as a guest room in 2019 and includes a bathroom (with a very roomy shower) and a kitchenette (sink, small refrigerator/freezer, microwave, Keurig, toaster). Two matching twin beds can be made up as a king-sized bed. There is one additional twin (inflatable) bed if needed for a third person.

Private beach cabin, Vashon Island

Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.

This whimsical upstairs apartment is close to family-friendly activities, shopping, restaurants, and dining. You’ll love this place because of the space to spread out, fun décor, and the location. This place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (pets). 15 minutes from Seatac & 25 minutes from downtown Seattle or Tacoma. Lots of great daytrips, wineries & breweries, and fun activities.
