Krittika is basically the Airbnb liason for a few different hotels/resorts on the island. She was very attentive and responsive, and was helpful in facilitating our move from Tohko resort to Viking resort in the middle of our stay on the Island. Tohko is definitely the cuter, quainter of the two. It is fairly small with just several little bungalows on or near the beach. It has a small full-time staff with very much of a family-run feel. It is also very secluded with travel to and from town pretty much limited to daytime long-tail boat trips. Tohko does have its own long tail boat and captain with regularly scheduled trips throughout the day. We moved to Viking for the 2nd half of our stay on Phi Phi to be closer to town. Viking is still about a 20 minute walk to the center of town, but only about a 10 minute walk from the edge of town where there are some restaurants and other services. The bungalows in both places are simple and clean. Viking's may be a bit more plush, while Tohko's have more charm. It seems clear that you pay more at both places if you book through Airbnb than with the resorts directly.

Communication was great and staff were waiting on the pier at Phi Phi when we arrived. They carried our bags into the long boat and it was 20 mins to the resort. The resort is a mini paradise which is essentially some bungalows, a basic but lovely beach cafe open 6am til 9pm and a private beach. That's it! If you walk along the beach over some stones and across the bay there are 3 other restaurants within a 5 minute walk. You are totally isolated and if you enjoy this you will love it. You can explore other parts of the island by long tail boat or speed boat. We stayed in a side of the hill bungalow. It was very small and basic but clean. Large bed, big fan and mosquito net. Bathroom is very small and the shower is essentially a tap but we came for the peace and quiet plus the deserted beach. Electricity is on 6pm to 6am so you can only really use the bungalow at those times because you need the fan. They do have larger more expensive bungalows I believe. Staff we all lovely and very friendly, food was excellent. They have wifi now.

We booked the bungalows above, then we ended up in tohko resort, since everything was fully booked. Tohko was pretty expensive for the standard provided. But a very nice and quiet beach.

Tohko Beach Resort is a hidden gem of a resort. The family that runs it are incredibly welcoming and make you feel right at home. The food was delicious and the lodging was exactly as described in the listing. The only fallback is the difficulty to access main Phi Phi town (you must either go by longboat or an hour long hike up a mountain). However, Tohko Beach is enjoyable because it is so secluded. The electricity is only available from 18:00-06:00 and there is no warm water for showers. These are all minor issues in comparison to the culture and relaxation that Tohko offers.

The bungalows were amazing. My favorite part of my stay was falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. My least favorite part was riding the longboats to and from the resort. You will get wet and it will take days to dry your stuff.

We really enjoyed our stay here, everyone was friendly and it was a nice quiet experience however we were surprised to see we didn't get the hut we thought we booked in the photos. Only downside is that the resort isn't around anything so you have to take the ferry out whenever you want to explore the island, unless you're looking for a private getaway then it's the perfect place for couples and families

Pbird did the most to ensure a great stay. I busted my toe on a rock upon arrival, and he took great care of me - at no cost. The hosts are truly great people who care about their clients. I had a great stay here. They even arranged transportation for us at a low-cost.

Sathorn's place was an excellent choice while staying on the busy and exciting Koh Phi Phi. Away from the noise and steps away from the beach was a priceless experience. Place was as described and the service was amazing. Thank you again.

Great location if you're wanting to be close to restaurants/shops/nightlife, but secluded enough that you're still able to relax and find a quiet space. Staff were very kind to help us with booking ferries, day trips, etc. service was great!

We are a family of 5 and have stayed on Phi Phi many times before but never have enjoyed accommodation and hospitality like this. The staff were unbelievable and fantastic from the bell boy, cleaning staff to the front desk and even the fantastic lady in the gift shop. The manager Jedsada was brilliant and always went out of his way to to help. The property was also fantastic with a great location and brilliant price. In my opinion one of the best sites, location and price on island. Please don't change a thing we will be back next year. Thank you

Beautiful resort-style airbnb. We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave! The bed was nice and the room was away from all the commotion of the town. We enjoyed the pool often and the beach literally across the street.

Great place, we didn't hear any loud music at night which is important in Phi Phi. The staff was very nice and accommodating, they let me check out at 12 for free. Super clean and spacious.

The Phi Phi Phu Chalet was perfect for our trip! They've struck an amazing balance between secluded and accessible, and luxurious and island-rustic. Two friends and I stayed for 4 nights and wished we had doubled our stay. The location of this small resort is secluded from the touristy parts of the island and is about a 30 minute long boat ride from Tonsai Pier. Although it was secluded, there is a village and another larger resort within walking distance (10 minutes) and several viewpoints, hiking and swimming spots are nearby. We walked to the village at least once a day and visited local restaurants, bars, convenience stores, etc. The staff here is top notch -- incredibly friendly, helpful, hardworking, knowledgeable, and personable. They're always available and happy to help with any and everything. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. The amenities were great for what our group required. Beds were comfy, AC worked great, room was complete with modern bathroom, closet, small refrigerator and an unbeatable view. The pool, restaurant, bar and common bathrooms were all kept immaculate, even through the afternoon storms. I would definitely recommend going on a full or half day boat excursion through the resort! Dress appropriately upon arrival and be prepared to walk through a few inches of water. Guests are picked up from the pier in a long boat, which drops you off at the Phi Phi Phu Chalet beach. Depending on the tide, you may have to hop out a trek through a foot or 2 of water. The staff will help carry all of your belongings and make sure you're safe. We loved this and it was definitely part of the experience, but just a warning for other travelers -- be prepared to take off your shoes :)
