Very nice

Allison's home is centrally located to all the places we wanted to be. We prefer to walk, and we were able to walk everywhere: restaurants, shops, lake front, parks, attractions, weekend farmers' market. We really enjoyed being so close to the lake, and I got some amazing pictures! Allison made us feel welcome and at home in her home immediately. The bedroom was comfortable and we slept great! We hope to return again with the bicycles so we can take some rides.

Allison is a super friendly and accommodating host, with a very cozy and welcoming home. Loved the easy access to the lake and town. Would certainly return!

The neighborhood is breathtakingly gorgeous and relaxing after being in the Hospital all day. I am a medical student and I did not have any issues studying and resting during the day. Allison was very respectful of my privacy but was always here if I needed her help. Allison' house is more beautiful than the picture! I can see the great lake view from the living room and dining room, it's wonderful! Every morning I can jogging at the lake side, it's amazing! The house is very cleaning everywhere, Kitchen is good. Tv have Netflix, very good! Room is safety. Allison is a kind,nice person, give me many help. It's like I stay at my own house,ha! I am very satisfied for this living. By the way,Allison 's cat,Ella, is beautiful and sweet.

Allison was an exceptional host who treated my daughter and me like family. She shared her beautiful, clean home with a gorgeous view of the park and Lake Michigan, as well as many of her travel stories. Location, location, location - Excellent view of Lake Michigan. Amenities - Mattress, natural shampoo and soap, tea and cookies were great. Welcome - Allison was very warm, welcoming and helpful. Restaurants - A few blocks to great restaurants, Sazzy B's and Hodge Podge's. Cleanliness - Super clean.

Allison was a great host--friendly, helpful, easygoing. Her house is beautiful and full of character. The location is amazing, right across the street from Lake MI, with a walking path along a beach and harbor and into town. An easy walk to Kenosha's Buzz Cafe is a great place to get a gourmet bite and a nice glass of wine or cup of coffee. I would definitely stay here again.

Upon entering, there is a feeling of unfinished-ness about the place that was rather eery, but upon settling in, and scoping the place out, that feeling passed. After rereading the description, I found the house exactly as described, with its little quirks and old-time features. And after the first night, we felt very comfortable there. Jane was awesome, and helped us out with a few things that we were unsure about. She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, and it was greatly appreciated. The house's location was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood that was a quick drive to the waterfront, my family, and downtown, all at the same time. I would happily rent again.

This little house is in a quiet neighborhood and while it is basic, it is quite darling. Reminds me of family lake houses in Minnesota. It was clean, and any questions I had were promptly answered by text. This was a great alternative to staying in a hotel for us as it gave us a place to sit and talk without being in bed, and have some coffee together without being in a lobby. Overall a great stay!

Everything in Rebecca's place was really nice. I didn't actually get to spend much time there as I got in late and had to leave early the next morning, but I had a nice night's sleep and everything was as promised. Rebecca and I only spoke fairly briefly over coffee in the morning and she was really nice and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it as a nice place to stay.

This was my second stay at Rebecca's. Last time I stayed in her other room. The gray room (my stay this time) is very comfortable. Comfy mattress in a quiet room with a helpful host. Love her interior design: it's fun! Centrally located, safe neighborhood, within walking distance to lots of places and and a $6-8 lyft/uber ride to downtown.

This was my first Airbnb experience and didn't really know what to expect. I'll separate comments into pluses and minuses. On the plus side. 1) for my purpose, it was a great location being only a few blocks away from relatives. 2) good value - relative to hotel rates, Rebecca provides a clean room, comfortable bed, free wifi, and use of kitchen. 3) Jackson - the adorable dog was great company, well-behaved, and never barked (I don't think) the four days there. On the minus side. 1) Need to share a bathroom. As it turned out, the other guest showered in the evening and was out of the house by around 7am. Therefore, didn't need to jockey for the bathroom at the same time. But that may be an issue for others. Overall, I will likely stay at Rebecca's again if I need to return to Kenosha.

This was a wonderful place to stay in Kenosha. The house and room were just as described and pictured in the listing - very clean and very comfortable. The host goes out of her way to provide extra amenities, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc. For once, I had remembered everything, but it was nice to know that I was covered if not! There is also a selection of soaps and shampoos to choose from. The host contacted me before I arrived, and followed up during my stay to make sure all was well. The dog, Jackson, was adorable - friendly and extremely well-behaved. My room had a closet and dresser in addition to a comfortable bed - plus a ceiling fan and free wifi. I highly recommend a stay here!

Maureen's apartment is perfect for visiting the waterfront area of Kenosha. The Coffee Pot restaurant is on the same block (be sure to go early in the morning as it gets crowded). The apartment was as described. Maureen keeps it very clean. The kitchen was stocked with tableware and cooking equipment. There is a full-sized range, a full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and blender! We were in Kenosha for a family bridal shower. Maureen's apartment was large enough for us to play host to a pair of Chicagoans that arrived early. Maureen was a great host. She was friendly and she communicated clearly. It is obvious that she loves the Kenosha community.

The place is simple but nice and ideally located for Kenosha. We had a great experience, and Maureen went above and beyond, offering us great tips and making sure we were settled in as comfortably as possible.

Maureen and her place were great! She was easy to get a hold of when we needed to coordinate arrival and departure times, the apartment was clean and within walking distance to all of downtown Kenosha. It fit four of us well, we had a great time! Having the Coffee Pot restaurant (amazing breakfast) almost literally right downstairs is a nice bonus too.

This place has almost everything you could need for your next Kenosha trip! Enough space to work and relax, while small enough to easily keep tidy. The kitchen is sufficiently equipped to encourage actual cooking, while the wonderful location near the edge of the lake puts it within walking distance of numerous cafe and dining options, as well as the isthmus. Michael was friendly and great to work with! He responded to any question I had about the listing very promptly. Upon our arrival he greeted us and showed us around the barn/studio. Kenosha is beautiful! And the barn is quaint, fun, and a eclectic place to stay. We enjoyed our stay.

Michael's barn is a wonderful space and we really enjoyed staying there for a weekend getaway from Chicago. He was quick to respond to our questions and was a great host. The barn is very clean and comfortable. The location is secluded enough that you can hear sounds of nature and see the clear night sky, but also a short distance from the main road that takes you to downtown Kenosha. Michael was nice enough to let us use his grill and he stocked the barn with towels, blankets and dishes. The stereo setup was amazing and it was also great to see Mouse the horse! We highly recommend staying here and you couldn't ask for an easier airbnb experience.

Awesome experience! The barn was enchanting- a three level loft with lots of character. Micheal was amazing. Very welcoming and accommodating. We weren't going to arrive until late, Michael had the place warm and lit for us. I live in the area but wanted to get away for the weekend. Will definitely be back!

Mike's property is a barn that's been converted into a photo studio with a sleeping quarters and a kitchen. It's done beautifully and eclectic (I'm into that kind of thing). Mike allows pets and the yard is large and our dogs had a great time too: highly recommend it.

We had a very relaxing time at Michael's barn. The barn was how we expected from the pictures. Unfortunately, the horse was gone when we went, but we still had a fun and cozy experience of staying at home the entire time watching tv and doing puzzles that we brought. We took a portable stove so cooking was no problem. Michael was very friendly and approachable. We borrowed his frying pan and when the bed frame broke, we came over to help us. It was a very unique experience as we don't get to stay at a barn that often. We decided to go to Kenosha for our trip because we found this place on airbnb.

Description was dead on. The grounds were more beautiful than I expected. We loved the space and found it very comfy and homelike. Michael was exceedingly helpful and showed me some of the great areas of the grounds, helped me with the heat, and get settled in. Thank you!

This was a very pleasant comfortable place to stay, I stayed for 11 nights I was working in Kenosha. Very clean private place, perfect for what I needed. I highly recommend this place.

Carlton and his wife, Catherine, were immediately the essence of friendliness and hospitality! As I am physically impaired, somewhat, Carlton assisted me in bringing my overnight bags and making certain I was comfortable in their home. Catherine, a beautiful person, helped me get on my way the following morning. And, I felt I have made two friends who live a block away from my best friends of fifty years. Their cozy bedroom and private bath was lovely and spotlessly clean. It was a marvelous place to relax. I could see myself staying there for weeks. The bed was delightfully comfortable. And, the neighborhood is one of Kenosha's finest. Thank you, Carlton and Catherine, for making my stay in Kenosha restful and stress free! I look forward to staying with you again sometime. Great host; room was better than expected.

I was greeted, by Katherine, (I hope I spelled it correctly) upon arrival and shown my room. All my questions were answered on the spot and I was comfortable right away. I want to thank Carlton and Katherine for being such great hosts and for the very comfortable clean room.

We had a great experience here. The bed is one step smaller than a queen, and was quite comfortable for my wife and I (even though we're used to a king size bed at home). The room is clean and nicely done. There is a private bath attached to the bedroom (and the shower is great ... not the slow drip kind of experience you get in some houses or hotels). Carlton and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this highly to anyone.

First we were very grateful that Carlton excepted us on a very short notice. Katherine greeted us when we arrived, Carlton was out. She was very warm and welcoming. The room was very cute and had access to a little porch right off of the bedroom. The bed and pillows were very very firm. Their house is on a quiet little street in a quiet little town, much to our liking. It was just a couple blocks to walk to the lake. It took just a few minutes to drive to downtown Kenosha where although it's a small town there are many tourist things to do. There were museums and festivals aplenty. We really enjoyed our stay. Carlton was always quick to respond to our questions, and was very accommodating to our flexible schedule. His wife was there to greet us warmly when we arrived, and was very pleasant. We never saw either of them again until we left Kenosha three days later, but we were comforatble in the room and had no reason to intrude on their space. The room was exactly as advertised (clean and cozy), although we never did see the Lake from their house. The neighborhod seemed safe, and I would recommend this listing to any single or couple needing a place to stay in Kenosha.

Great place to take a rest in Kenosha. All major places in Kenosha are easily reached by car and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and lends itself to early morning walks. The rooms are very clean, breakfast was plentiful, and Jim and Tim are great hosts that will take care of you! I booked the suite for my parents, who visited from Germany and do not really speak English. Jim and Tim bought German grocerys for breakfast (coffee was very much appreciated!) and even downloaded an app to communicate with them. Such a great comfort for my mum, who travelled such a great distance for the first time. We sadly traveled around Wisconsin a lot, so we couln't talk too much, but they were so sweet and thoughtful and even asked if they could make up a bed for me (I lived 15 minutes away in Kenosha) once they heard that we'd have to leave early in order to catch a flight. All in all definitely woth the money and you'll have a very enjoyable stay at this place!

Tim and Jim were excellent hosts! The space was exactly as described, clean, private, and well-stocked. My husband and I were in Kenosha over the weekend for our work as traveling soccer referees, and this was the perfect place to relax and put our feet up Saturday night. We would not hesitate to stay again if we are back in town.

If you are staying in Kenosha, this is the place to stay. Perfect for a stay with kids! Very open layout which was great for hanging out with our family we shared the house with! The only one dislike was the one bed was a little small for 2 adults but it was manageable. We would stay here again in an instant!

We loved staying at Steve's house! We had handwritten directions to a nice beach, and the house was cute, clean, and exactly as described. We felt very much "at home." We jogged around the neighborhood one morning and got to enjoy how adorable and friendly the area is as well! Certainly a welcome retreat from the city. We would definitely stay here again.

What a great place to stay. We were in the area for the Racine 70.3 and really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean, well kept, and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Steve was quick to respond and helpful with any questions we had. Isabel & William's house was so comfortable, clean and welcoming. It's a beautiful older home in a very nice neighborhood. We stayed in December and enjoyed all the sweet and festive Christmas decorations. My sister met Isabel for check-in and she was very helpful. Even though we didn't have a chance to enjoy the neighborhood, the location is really great -- a safe, fun area with plenty to do & see within walking distance. I highly recommend this listing.

This was such a pleasant house to stay at for the weekend. My family and I came for my brother's Navy recruit graduation and this place was the perfect comfort house for all of us to hang out in. It is walking distance to the lake and short drive to restaurants!

Ivan was there when we arrived to show us around and checked on us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Kenosha is a cute town with great shops and restaurants. We took our boys to Simmons Island beach and found lots of sea glass!! We had a great family trip!

A charming home, just like the description. Ivan met us to let us in and show us the home. A perfect space for our party of seven and true "home away from home." The house had everything we needed and more. I left a necklace behind and Ivan was kind enough to mail it to me immediately.

My family and girlfriend had a wonderful stay at Isabel's house. The pictures don't lie - her property has the charm of a classic Midwestern home, and is 2 blocks from the lake. Everything was immaculately clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Be sure to check out the nice backyard area or porch - we watched a long thunderstorm from it and played games till the nights end. If traveling back to this area, I'd be sure to stay with Isabel again.

Alina was very communicative within the days leading up to our stay. They were out of town while we were there, so she made sure we had the information we needed prior to arrival. The apartment was smaller than expected and cleanliness was less than desirable. Located a quick 10 minute walk to a park/sandy area at the lake, which was the highlight.

The host went out of her way to make us feel welcomed. The communication with her was excellent. She even sent us pictures of the house (inside and outside) for our convenience.

Luke and I really enjoyed our stay with Alina and Stuart. They were so welcoming, and we loved the environment of their home. It felt like coming home after a long day of activities in Kenosha. Alina communicated often if I needed something.

Reba was an awesome host. Her family is very friendly. She knows great local areas to check out and is very out going and hospitable. Be warned she is a Bears fans, so if you can get over that fact you should have a good time. The house was clean, and the bed was comfortable. Have her take you to the Port. She has terrible luck at dice and will probably have to buy you some drinks. Oh also she won our not so epic rap battle. So come prepared.

House was as described and worked well for our group of 7 adults and a baby. Plenty of seating in the living room, nice backyard where the baby could run and we played games. Right on the lake, although to actually get to the water you need a slightly steep climb down the hill. We stayed in order to attend a wedding in Racine. The location was perfect. Also an easy drive to Milwaukee! Host was easy to work with. Thanks for letting us stay!
