I'll leave 2 reviews, a short one and a slightly longer one. 1. STAY WITH TOM AND DEBBIE!!! 2. I could not recommend Tom and Debbie's Air B&B enough! It is outside of Dublin, but a quick drive or a bus ride will get you there. Debbie recommended that we check out a few local places to visit and they made our trip! Our trip wouldn't have been half as memorable if it weren't for Debbie and her suggestions. She made our once in a lifetime trip even more memorable than we could have imagined. Please stay with this amazing family. They are so polite and interested in you having a fantastic time while in Ireland.
Frank2017-07-01T00:00:00ZLoved Tom and Debbie's place. Lovely people and lovely accommodation
Frank2017-05-03T00:00:00ZWe stayed at Tom and Debbie's for 4 nights. We found the room to be very comfortable for the 4 of us (couple and 2 children), and the small kitchen area was quite handy to prepare some breakfast and light dinner (pre-cooked) when necessary. Debbie even had delicious home baked bread, eggs and lots of food supplies for our use upon arrival, including GF bread and cookies for our coeliac daughter. We had rented a car and found the location to be ideal to visit Dublin (30 min), Belfast (1 h 15 min) and Bru Na Boyne (15 min).
Alejandro2016-09-05T00:00:00ZExcellent location. Easy to find your way. Excellent hospitality. Good accommodation. You will not be disappointed. Very private.
Jennifer 2016-09-26T00:00:00ZDebbie and Tom are two lovely people who made us feel at home from the moment we met them. The rooms were nice and spacious with plenty of room. Their home is in a nice quite area only five minutes from Drogheda by car and 25 minute to Dublin. The beach is also only a ten minute walk away. If you dont have a car there is also a bus stop at the top of their road. With buses every half hour. I'd like to thank Debbie and Tom for everything. I'm looking forward to calling back sometime soon, and would definitely recommend them.
Eileen2016-07-23T00:00:00ZCozy and secluded home, very well kept and reccomended.
Jonathen2017-09-09T00:00:00ZOur stay in Debbie and Toms room in mosney was very comfortable. We had everything we needed and if something was missing, Debbie was always there for us. She brought us to the beach, gave us a tip for a nice pub with live music and drove us to the fantastic new grange. Moreover we got fresh eggs and homemade bread. For us it was the perfecr place to stay! Thanks for beeing such so nice to us and making our stay great!
Eva2016-09-12T00:00:00ZTom and Debbie were very accommodating when we needed to revise our stay timelines. Thank you for your understanding.

I can't say enough good things about Aine and her apartment. Aine immediately made us feel at home, providing recommendations in the area, food/drink in the kitchen, and spare amenities in the bathroom. She was a very thoughtful, flexible, and accommodating hostess. Her apartment was clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend staying here.
Sara2016-10-08T00:00:00ZWe really enjoyed staying in Àine's flat. It is a clear apartment, nicely furnished with room enough for our family of four. It had everything we needed, including a washing machine. The neighborhood is quiet with shops and restaurants nonetheless. Wayne and Àine were really friendly and helpful, before and during the stay. I would really recommend this place, convenient to visit Newgrange, Dublin. Thx!
David2016-07-24T00:00:00ZAine was a very lovely host. Unfortunately, the town was suffering a serious water pipeline bust during our stay and we had to cut our stay short; but this of course had nothing to do with her. She went above and beyond in trying to offer us amenities at her place when we didn't have access to water at hers. She left snacks and water for us on arrival; and she made our transition very easy. She was super helpful, and we were sorry we couldn't stay during that time. Her place is spacious, located in a scenic and residential area close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Thank you again Aine :)
alex2017-07-25T00:00:00ZAine is an incredible host, she went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I highly recommend booking her place. Thanks a million Aine!
Lisa2016-09-11T00:00:00ZPerfect balance of rest and exploring.
William2016-08-06T00:00:00ZIt was a wonderful stay. The flat is very clean and we had the sensation that we are at home. The area is very nice, very quiet and very close to shopping malls. Thank you very much Aine. It was a pleasure meeting you.
Bogdan2016-08-15T00:00:00ZWe had a wonderful stay and the apartment was lovely, clean and spacious. It is a lovely neighbourhood and right next door to shops and pharmacy. We were able to walk into town and also very close to the train station. A big thank you to Aine and her mom. We will definitely be back for another visit in the future.
Kay2017-07-30T00:00:00ZAine was a very kind and welcoming host. She was very friendly and flexible. She maintained communication channel opened and asked if everything was ok. She was very kind. I really enjoyed the stay in her apartment with my friends from my Country. I would recommend her place to families with kids or for individuals. It is a very quiet and handy place very close to the town centre.

Helen was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the house and the local area. Mornington is very close to the beach, and is also a great base from which to visit several attractions within a 30km radius. The house was very clean with good cooking facilities and we had plenty of towels. A really enjoyable stay.
Kevin2016-08-13T00:00:00ZHelen was a great host. Very helpful when needed and went over everything about the house and the nearby sights.
Sean2016-09-14T00:00:00ZHelen was a great host and made every part of our stay comfortable. We arrived on a late winter evening and she had candles lit and a fire prepared as well as Christmas decorations to make the children feel welcome, plus bottle of wine and cookies ! House was great, no complaints, everything warm and comfortable.
Sallyanne 2016-01-02T00:00:00ZWe have had a wonderful 6 week stay in Helen's beach house! A real home-from-home for us- cosy, clean and close to everything we needed. Helen is a fantastic host, communication was easy both before and during our stay. Couldn't have asked for anything more and would highly recommend a stay here. Hopefully we'll be back next year!
Janice2017-08-26T00:00:00ZI spent a couple of days at Helen´s in the Spring. I went with my best friend´s family and we needed a house were the kids could also feel comfortable and safe but also have a place to spend some time while the adults catch up. Helen´s home was right perfect. It´s even better than in the pictures, comfy and homy, with a nice yard full of green. The location is also very convenient, right near the beach and walking distance to the closest grocery store. It´s a quiet and safe place where we felt at home. I think I can say that this has been one of the best experiences with an Airbnb house since I started using the platform. But the best part was Helen. She is so nice and made our stay so easy that I can only say thanks and thanks again. Helen explained us all the details in the house and checked on us, she even drove with my friend to the nicest spots in the are to show us around. Thank you so much Helen! If you want to spend some days by a beautiful beach and in a nice area, you travel with friends or your family, this is the perfect place. It´s not that far from Dublin, we spent one day in the city and 2 exploring the area surrounded by nice old villages. I hope I can come back with more time and if i do iI hope I can stay at Helens.
Ricardo2016-05-30T00:00:00ZHelen was a perfect host and her home is lovely, many nice touches and a great welcome. We highly recommend staying with Helen.
Tom2017-07-02T00:00:00ZNice house, very complete, Helen had some wonderful cakes and coffee ready when we arrived. The basic supplies were available so we didn't have to rush to the shop on the first day.
Symen2017-09-17T00:00:00ZOur stay at Helen's place was wonderful but the host was less than desirable when we left. The house is really nice, with lots of space to stretch out and relax. We were visiting family in Drogheda and it was a quick 8 minute drive from town. We had 6 people staying and there was plenty of space for all of us. It's very pretty and close to the beach. I was just contacted by Helen a few days after we checked out and she was very upset we used the sofabed and the sheets in the closet. It was my fault for not telling her we needed it (I missed the note in the listing) but I thought telling her we had 2 adult children would make that clear. That was completely my fault, I shouldn't have assumed. Later she blamed us for a broken blind which was broken on arrival. we even said we shouldn't touch it so that we wouldn't break it more. She made a very big deal out of us using the sofabed as a bed and said we had left a bigger impact on the house than any of the other past guests. The last guest left standing water and towels in the washer and we cleaned them out. Since she was traveling when we were there, we never had a chance to meet or discuss these things. I guess it's easier to blame people you don't know.

Ann was an amazing host! The room was just as described with everything we needed, and what wasn't available she had ready for us as soon as we asked! Being American and driving in Ireland was a test for us with finding the Sheephouse Cottages but Ann personally came out to find us and lead us to our room! I would highly recommend staying there as it was lovely! We chose Donore as it was fairly close to see the Wicklow Mountains and Waterfalls, as well as a 2.5hour drive north to Giants Causeway! Esquire Coffee in Droghdea was probably the best coffee I've ever had! We will definitely revisit again! Cheers :)
Nikki2015-07-23T00:00:00ZPerfect, responsive host. The Cottage was spotless. We will be back, for sure.
Steve2016-10-11T00:00:00ZAnn and Des were terrific hosts! Sheephouse Country Courtyard was an easy drive to the Irish countryside from the Dublin airport after a long flight, without having to enter into busy Dublin City. We were very pleased to find the cottage immaculately clean with THE most comfortable beds. Sheephouse was in a great location for touring about the ancient (5000+ year) old sites of Newgrange Megalithic Passage Tomb, Hill of Tara, Knowth, Dowth, Fourknocks, Kells, etc. Battle of the Boyne was just around the corner, although closed in January, the grounds were interesting. The nearby Town of Drogheda and many other wee villages in the surrounding area were also picturesque and interesting to visit. Sheephouse was a quiet, peaceful and comfortable home away from home for our first week in Ireland. Thank you so very much, Ann and Des for making it so enjoyable and easy. We hope to visit again, perhaps at the end of this trip if time allows. We would recommend this accommodation highly to anyone wanting to spend some time in this part of Ireland.
Jan2016-01-05T00:00:00ZWe spent 11 days at the cottages, and we were very pleased with everything. Ann and her husband run this place taking care of every detail, and they are such nice people. The apartments are very clean, decorated with good taste and the surroundings are so green and peaceful. Drogheda is only 8-10 mins away. We definetely recommend it!
Rocio2016-08-18T00:00:00ZThe cottage was very clean and looked well.
John2017-08-26T00:00:00ZStayed for 2 nights while we attended a local event. It was very well appointed and absolutely immaculate. The owner, Ann, was very friendly and helpful. Plan to stay again next time we are in the area.
Mark2015-07-13T00:00:00ZAnn is a terrific host, she is extremely welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for her, she goes out of her way to make sure you are happy with everything. The cottage was absolutely perfect, in a beautiful setting, peace and quiet guaranteed, it was a pleasure to wake up and look out on to open fields and gorgeous scenery. The cottage has everything needed, beautifully deecorated, spotlessly clean and a real home from home. I intend to stay again and would recomment the cottages without hesitation.
Kerry2015-08-25T00:00:00ZVery well maintained cottages in a beautiful part of county Meath. Super convenient for those who'd like to explore the countrysides historical and cultural sites whilst still having great access to Dublin city. Ann is a charming, friendly and accomodating host who made our stay here a pleasure.

James was a lovely host and his family's home was huge and comfy. Everything works very well despite it being a 120 year old home! This place is definitely great for a country getaway type of experience because it is quite seclude, however it is well equipt and has a fantastic kitchen. You definitely need a car to get here. Unfortunately our plan didn't play out as scheduled, but James was very accommodating. This is a great B&B and we would definitely recommend it to anyone, couple or family! =)
Milli2017-03-18T00:00:00ZWe enjoyed our short stay at the Old Country House :) The house is very big and the host very welcoming. It is in a strategic spot as we could reach many nice places easily, on the north Dublin coast and country side. Unfortunately we had to leave early! Thanks again!
Francesca2014-09-08T00:00:00ZJames was an amazing host. My dad and sister needed a last minute palace to say and James was super accommodating and extremely flexible. James was a fantastic host and they had a great experience with a very personalized touch. Would absolutely recommend anyone stay looking for a countryside getaway just outside of Dublin near a cute village with the best part... having an amazing host like James. Thanks again James!
Eugene2017-05-28T00:00:00ZThere are few things better in life than meeting new friends. James and his family we wonderful hosts. The house was beautiful, comfortable and the experience was perfect. My family of four could not have felt more welcome. This is what Airbnb is all about. Thank you so much for allowing us to share the evening with you and your family. Highest recommendation. A+
David 2015-05-25T00:00:00ZUnfortunately, we had to make last-minute changes and were not able to stay at James's place. Nonetheless, James was very friendly and helpful and granted a full refund, even though we had passed the cancellation time. Hope to stay at James's house anoter trip!

Karen is a wonderfully welcoming host, she made me feel at home immediately. The bedroom was perfect and breakfast and conversation in the morning were both thoroughly enjoyable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and I'll surely be a returning guest. Thanks Karen.
Abi2017-05-26T00:00:00ZKaren is such a warn and natural person, making my stay all the more comfortable. She knew her town! I feel lucky to have crossed paths with her and Antonio. You'll be lucky to stop at their place. Skerries is a cool, cool place!
Calvin2017-05-25T00:00:00ZKaren's place is cozy and family friendly. She provided us with helpful information for our visit to Skerries. Excellent location, walk to everything.
Maureen2017-08-02T00:00:00ZNice and cosy room under the roof, very kind and helpful hosts, easy to reach in best location, quiet but central. My warmest recommendations.
Vera 2017-05-28T00:00:00ZI had a great time! Karen and her husband were lovely (and her another Brazilian guest also). They are really helpful providing all the necessary information and maps The house is right in the middle of the center, close to all the important stuff, and about only 10 minutes from the train station. The house is lovely and exactly as described, just as lovely as their cute and excited cat "chiquinha". I got a really late checking, and they were really welcoming anyway, they even gave me part of their dinner, since I was starving. Electric shower and light breakfast included. :D The house is really close to the mills, nice cafes, bus stop and the sea. I decided to go walking to the castle, and the view by the sea is lovely! Well recommended for those like me whom just want a little city break.

Joana is great! The house was very clean and comfortable. She let us use her kitchen and a few small food items we forgot to buy. We enjoyed talking to her and swapping stories. She was accommodating and gave plenty of ideas of things to do around Ireland.
christopher2015-11-01T00:00:00ZMy mother and sister used this service so this is their feedback. Joana is a very polite and enterprising person. She made my mother and sister feel very welcome when they arrived. The house was spotlessly clean. Joana made a simple breakfast which was appreciated. This is a beautiful part of Ireland and would have no hesitation in recommending Joana's place to future travellers
Benjamin2015-08-16T00:00:00ZVery good
Pat2017-09-21T00:00:00ZJoanna was the most helpful host we stayed with during our 2 and a half week trip around Europe. She greeted us upon arrival, walked with us into town (Ashbourne) to help us order dinner, called a cab for us, and then ate a meal with us. We loved getting to know her. Her apartment was lovely and clean, but about a 40 minute cab ride from central Dublin. It's only 20 minutes from the Dublin airport though, which was handy. We stayed here the night before we had to catch a 6:00 am flight, and it worked really well. Thanks again, Joana!
Amber2016-05-29T00:00:00ZVery comfortable rooms 10-15 mins walk from large town centre. Very handy for Dublin Airport, half hours drive. Quiet and nice neighbourhood and Joana made us feel very welcome.
David2017-07-27T00:00:00ZJoana is an excellent host, generous and easy going. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The house is conveniently close to Dublin airport.
Anna2015-08-09T00:00:00ZThe private rooms of Joana were as described, her house is nice, very clean, well located. Most of all, Joana is a very welcoming, kind, and smily woman, we get a real pleasure to stay in her house for three nights, to discuss with her and exchange on different subjects. We will visit her again next time we travel to Dublin. thank you very much Joana.
Olivier2015-08-03T00:00:00ZJoana was a wonderful host! She was very welcoming and gave us lots of tips and advice about travelling around Dublin. The walk to the main street in Ashborne where we would catch the bus to Dublin was very convenient and the house was in close proximity to the airport, made our early morning flight easy with a cab. Joana was very friendly and made us feel welcome with home cooked banana bread and good conversation!

Dianne2017-08-26T00:00:00ZSuch a beautiful home! We arrived on Saturday for a one night stay in Davids house and were greeted by two lovely hosts, so friendly and inviting. Their home was stunning, the pictures did it no justice at all. Great comfy bed for the night in a beautiful double room with family bathroom next door. We were very happy about our stay in Rush, even thou it was a bit far from the center of Dublin. Luckily there were buses that could take us to the citycenter. The area around rush was very beautiful and we would not have prefered to stay in the city, rather close to the sea. Sylvia is a very friendly host and we enjoyed her company and the efforts that she made, e.g. making excellent pancakes in the morning, and showed us the local village and drove us to the trainstation. We got the impression that Sylvia really enjoys having guests over at her place so that made us feel like home.
Linnéa2017-03-19T00:00:00ZA really great room clean and beautiful with own bathroom. Sylvia is extremely kind. We had a breakfast with delicious bread and good view to the ocean. Thank you for everything.
Josilane2016-09-25T00:00:00ZSimply an excellent host. Wonderful woman, and will try to help you with whatever you need. Expect a warm welcome!

Lovely experience! Dermot and Isobel are super friendly and helpful in giving directions and recommending restaurants and places to visit. Moreover they have a beautiful house with a wonderful garden. Their house is just 10 (or less) minutes walking from a beautiful beach with lots of beautiful vegetation (and a big golf club as well!). The room was very nice, clean and tidy! Highly recommended. My partner and I will definitely come back!
Riccardo2017-05-28T00:00:00ZMs. Isobel's house is so fancy and beautiful. Her house is extremely clean and organised. My girlfriend and I, we really loved to spend our time in her house. I honestly recommend it. Thanks a million Isobel!

Location was just what we were looking for. Outside of town but close enough to get to after our tour. Laura provided excellent directions before we travelled so getting there was easy and pleasant. Room and bathroom was spacious. Laura was kind, helpful and breakfast was lovely.
Dolores2015-10-16T00:00:00ZBeautiful property ! Nice quiet location close to the airport for a good night rest before catching a morning flight. Lots of restaurants in the area.
Jessica2017-09-24T00:00:00ZAbsolutely fantastic experience! Beautiful house in the country, with great views and not far from Dublin either. Hosts were so helpful and overall we couldn't believe our luck!
Holly2015-09-28T00:00:00ZGreat hosts! Beautiful home in the country! Exactly as they described. Would stay again
Treva2015-10-06T00:00:00ZLaura was a great host who stayed up late to receive us after our flight into Dublin was delayed. The accommodation (bedroom with private bathroom) was just what we were look for as we attended a near by wedding, and the grounds around the house that make up the horse farm are very picturesque. There is one public transport option available, but we ended up needed the flexibility of taxis, especially on Sunday. All in all, it was a very nice experience.
Clayton2017-07-23T00:00:00ZThe room is in a big house insiste a big beautiful horse centre near thé airport.
Fethi2015-09-25T00:00:00ZWe had a lovely time there. The room was nice. The surroundings was very convenient and central. Overall had a great time and enjoyed it very much. Would not hesitate to come back and also to recommend the place.
Zayn2016-09-04T00:00:00ZA great location for our last evening in Ireland and an early flight the next morning. Although the room is in a private home, you have privacy and access to your own area. It is a quiet, and very clean home. We very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.
