Mercedes and Vincenzo made our stay very easy ! Very kind and always available, they are very reliable host for a stay in Nizza Montferrati and the beautiful countryside around. Despite our very late arrival on our first day @ 1h30 AM in the morning, they waited for us without any impatience and welcomed us very gently. Even if our stay was a bit short (and hectic), Mercedes is always willing to help on any trip matter, and therefore, a very recommanded host. Nicolas & Nathalie

The apartment is spacious for two people and the off street secure parking was a bonus. Mercedes is a very easy person to get on with and went out of her way to help us. Nizza is a delightful commune with lots of things to see and do. Perhaps a jug for boiling water?

"Casa di Mo" is a very special place. It's in the centre of the town, near to shops, great restaurants and at the same time quiet, safe and private. The entrance is through a gated courtyard with your own garage if you need it. The flat is on the first/second floor (no lift). Everything is super clean and welcoming. The space is very spacious and fully equipped....including large fitted kitchen, dishwasher, air conditioners and even a Jacuzzi Shower in the bathroom! There's a real wooden floor through all the flat, triple glazing Windows and lot of light. The bedroom is on the second floor. It is very spacious and there's plenty of storage. Plus a lovely roof balcony with chairs and table to enjoy the view over the old roofs and bell tower. The host is a very lovely lady who will do her best to make you feel at home from day one! I definitely highly recommended this magic place and I am sure we will be back in the future!

My husband and I stayed one night in Monica's beautiful apartment and we couldn't have asked for a better host! She was very responsive by email and text, she was there to greet us when we arrived, and even drove us to the grocery store so we could run by before it closed. Since we were interested in buying local wine, she even drove us to a friend of hers and local producer nearby (Azienda Vitivinicola Erede di Chiappone Armando) who we definitely recommend! The apartment was very very clean and recently renovated, there's even a jacuzzi shower, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the small terrace was our favorite part - with a great view of the church tower (the bells no longer function). It was also perfectly located in the heart of the town walking distance from everything, but on a calm & quiet street. We highly recommend Monica's place and hope to go back again!

Abbiamo alloggiato da Monica per un weekend fra il buon vino. La proprietaria è molto presente e disponibile, la casa è una bomboniera, spaziosa, fresca, confortevole e pulita. Vi è presente qualsiasi cosa di cui si possa aver bisogno e monica ci ha cortesemente lasciato una ricca colazione. Da sottolineare la comodità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze e la gentilezza e cortesia dell'host! Un ottimo luogo di relax dove stabilirsi per un giro nel Monferrato! Consigliato!

bellissimo mini alloggio in pieno centro di Nizza, ma con parcheggio facile e comodo a breve distanza (o volendo anche nel garage privato), Monica ospite perfetta e super precisa, sicuramente da consigliare se volete soggiornare in questa bella cittadina piemontese (e per noi, assolutamente un posto dove tornare).

L'appartamento è spazioso, confortevole (ricca colazione inclusa) e collocato in un contesto pregevole, centralissimo e molto tranquillo (con ampia possibilità di parcheggio per di più). Monica ci ha accolti calorosamente ed è stata disponibilissima fino all'ultimo minuto del nostro soggiorno. Assolutamente consigliato per una gita di totale relax.

We loved the pastoral setting and the very clean, modern house. The pool was wonderful for cooling off in the hot Piemontese afternoons. Paola and Anna were delightful and accommodating- our every need was anticipated. The Monferrato is a gorgeous area, but one that must be explored with a car. Unfortunately, the wifi isn't great, but this is due to remote location of the Monferrato and out of Paola's control. The private laundry room was very handy, considering our stay at the cottage was halfway through our trip. Overall, we whole-heartedly recommend this location.

Just fell in love with the (URL HIDDEN) is on the hill, and the view is just wonderful. It is quite, surrounded by the fields of hazelnuts. Just a piece of paradise! The house is beautiful and you can find everything you need for a perfect holiday. The pool is big, cleaned every night and the sunbeds are very comfortable. We did not have our own towels for the sunbeds, so were provided with some with no problems. The host and her children were very hospitable. We received a bottle of wine as a gift and homemade marmalade from their own peaches and apricots. It was sooo delicious!!! Francesco was very helpful with information, suggestions for the restaurants and made a reservation for us in the restaurant, where the food was great. We also loved the ice cream in his recommended Gelateria. We enjoyed our holidays very much, would recommend the place to our friend and would love to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It is a very relaxing place, on top of the hill with a big pool and great views of the countryside. The apartment itself was very clean and seemed newly remodeled. The photos of the listing are accurate, except that a huge balcony has been added, which is now stretching along the full length of the house. Each and every room in the apartment has its own door to the balcony, where there is a table with chairs and a sun lounge. Being on top of the hill, there is more likely to be a breeze here than down in the valley. Even so, it does get warm in the summer without air conditioning. As other reviewers mentioned, the wifi is slow and sometimes non existent in the way it is set up. However, we found that if we moved the router and put it on a chair about 1,5 meters outside the kitchen balcony door, it worked fine. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and we would love to come back.

Staying at Paola's was very relaxing. We did have some trouble finding her place, due to our gps, leading us to the wrong road. Paola's house and land is lovely and having a pool that we could use was great! We we're at this location for our anniversary and Paola set up a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant. We had a lovely dinner. Though there was a language barrier, Paola did everything should could to help us feel comfortable. We did have difficulty with the wifi, which was very, very slow, but otherwise this is an incredibly relaxing and beautiful place to stay. Paola's wine is also very delicious!!

The appartment was very nice and clean. Paola was also a great hostage. I fully can recommend Paola as a very friendly host. If we had questions or a problem she made always effort to answer or solve it.

My husband and I spent five nights in Maddalena's guest house in Incisa Scapaccino just before Easter 2015. The timing couldn't have been more perfect: we beat the holiday crowds, and the weather was nice and sunny throughout our stay. That aside, let's talk about the wonderful hostess and accomodation. Maddalena was the loveliest, most considerate host we could have wished for. In addition to being easily reachable (she lives in the same compound), she arranged a few winery tours for us, and gave plenty of tips for our day trips. What’s more, she provided us with fresh eggs and delicious homemade prune jam for breakfast! She even filtered the tap water for us. We felt extra welcome, thanks to Maddalena. The furnished apartment itself is perfect for two people – everything you might need for a comfortable stay is there. When arriving by car (and yes, you should arrive by car), you'll have a private gated entrance adorned by Magnolia trees. The location is ideal for exploring the nearby towns. We managed to visit Alba, Asti, Turin, Genoa, and a host of tiny villages, along with the Barolo wine area. Needless to stay, we can warmly recommend Maddalena’s guest house for other couples or friends looking to explore Piemonte, and would be happy to stay there again.

We loved our stay with Maddalena in Incisa Scapaccino. She was a very warm, friendly, helpful and wonderful host. Since she knew we were cycling in the area, she spent an hour driving us around and showing us her favorite back roads. She also had a list of her favorite restaurants with detailed descriptions on each. She made reservations for two of these restaurants for us, and every one we tried served wonderful food and had friendly staff. This area is a bit of a sleeper compared to the Barolo-barbaresco region but we enjoyed the food, wine, and cycling as much if not more than our five days in the Barolo region. We would recommend this Airbnb and our host with the highest praise and without hesitation.

We had an incredible stay with Maddelena! The apartment has everything that you need, including a renovated bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. A great way to relax while on holiday. Our host made us feel at home and had lots of great suggestions on things to do in the area. If you are thinking of going to Alba or Asti I totally recommend that you stay at Casa Dalia.

I read alot about maddalena house but when I arrived It even proved better she is a wonderful host a perfect place to stay and I definitely would like to come back the jacuzzi was relaxing very clean house and she wants to arrange everything for you but also in the house there is plenty of maps books and other info to spend months there maddalena thanks for the time we spent in your house

Our family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids, had a fantastic stay at Maddalena's place. The apartment is fully equipped and very clean. Maddalena is an excellent host, and nothing is missing when it comes to guidance and advise about the local attractions. Great value for money.

The flat is just as it looks on the pictures. All clean and tidy. With a big bathroom, with.. a jacuzzi! Maddalena is fantastic. Very welcoming, friendly. She is so helpful. She recommended us some great addresses to eat, proposed her things to do, booked a place to try wines for us, etc. Your very own guide at home! You need around 50-60 minutes to Alba, and Barollo, 20 minutes to Asti. Not far from Canelli. So nice if you wish to visit Langhs and Montferrato.

Maddalena is a marvelous hostess and did everything she could to make our visit enjoyable and pleasant, and we had a wonderful time. Her guest house is very comfortable and had everything we needed to be comfortable and at home. I highly recommend Dalila Guest House to anyone who wants a great place to stay in a lovely part of Italy.

Casa Dalila is an incredible place and Maddalena is an incredible hostess. We (family of 4) spent a wonderful week in Piemonte. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival and is equipped with everything you might possibly need. It's lovely decorated, every room having its own colour accent. There's a private terrace and you are free to use Maddalena's huge garden whenever you like. A/C was a nice bonus since the temperature went up to 40 degrees. There's not much to do in Incisa Scappacino itself but it's an ideal base if you want to discover the delicious wine and food from Piemonte. Maddalena helped us to make reservations in wineries and restaurants and knows the region very well, with an accent on genuine and simple places. Highly recommended.

Lovely country home in the middle of the fabulous Piemonte wine region. If you love good wines and fantastic food, this is a great area to stay. The furnishings of this home are lovely, high quality and immaculate. The pool, gardens and outdoor seating are great. Our host Eva couldn't have been more gracious or helpful. Our apartment was spacious and had a private outdoor table and chairs. In between lovely restaurant meals, we took advantage of a fantastic butcher and bakery in the nearby town of Nizza Monferrato to barbeque meals at home. The high quality of meats, cheeses, pasta and produce are great fun to try. With such good ingredients, it's hard to mess up! We stayed for a relaxing week at the end of a very busy long trip. This is also a lovely spot for a long romantic weekend or a multi-family trip. Beauty is all around the area. The activity surrounding grape harvesting was wonderful. We'd love to come back for porcini mushroom season and truffle season in the fall. Someday...

What an amazing time in Gabriela's house! We spent a wonderful moment, having diner with her, her husband and the other guests. The bedroom was awesome with the view in Langhe landscape and the Alpes. We recommend this amazing house !

What a place! The apartment is nicely decorated, you have two wonderfull terrasses - one of them is rater big with furniture for eating and relaxing, you have access to a poolarea with a big pool, tabelfootball, sunbeds and much more, and then you have the view of Piemonte from all over the place. This view is absolutly amacing. The very nice couple who has the place lives downstairs from the apartment. You can socialize or keep to your self. It is obvious that Peter and Oikkie care for this place. Everything is just working as it shoud be.

La casa è nuovissima in una posizione incantevole. Non abbiamo potuto usufruire della piscina e della terrazza ma solo perché non siamo rimasti a casa abbastanza...erano molto invitanti e anche a lì la vista era mozzafiato! Peter (il marito di Okkie) che ci ha accolto e stato gentilissimo. In definitiva un'ottima soluzione!

Nous avons passé 4 jours chez Okkie et Peter qui sont des personnes merveilleuses, d'une très grande gentillesse et toujours présentes en cas de besoin. Leur jolie maison est en plein coeur du Pietmond et le paysage est simplement magnifique. La vue de la terrasse ou de la piscine est exceptionnelle et nous avons pu profiter du calme et de la tranquillité des lieux pour nous reposer et visiter la région. Le logement et les équipements sont parfaits pour une famille de 4 personnes. Peter et Okkie sont au petit soin pour les enfants (pour les parents aussi :)) car de nombreux jeux sont disponibles : balançoire, cabane, trottinette, babyfoot, jeux de piscine... Okkie et Peter nous ont également proposé de passer des moments conviviaux avec eux, leurs familles et leurs amis en nous rendant à leur fête de village un soir. Cette soirée a été très sympathique, le concert était super et les vins de la région d'Asti simplement divins. Je vous recommande le Muscato si vous aimez les vins blancs très sucrés; un pur délice en bouche. Okkie et Peter nous ont également conseillé un très bon restaurant gastronomique chez un viticulteur de la région : CASCINA DANI qui nous a permis de déguster des plats régionaux et 3 vins différents. Le rapport qualité-prix est plus que raisonnable car nous avons payé pour 2 menus gourmets : 4 plats différents + 3 vins; 35 euros par personne. Notre séjour a été trop court pour pouvoir tout découvrir et si vous devez passer par Gênes partez tôt car les embouteillages sont justes une catastrophes pour se rendre du côté de Portofino ou des cinq terres. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir chez Okkie et Peter. Réservez sans tarder car nous avons adoré.

Very nice region and good location of the property The owner proved very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this was not was we expected: we thought it would be a separated apartment in a farmhouse, whereas it really was a room with kitchen in a small guesthouse/hotel (6-8 rooms). This was in particular a problem in the public areas (swimming pool, outdoor lunch area) which were not fitted to accommodate more than 2-3 couples. All in all not as relaxing as we hopped.
