Convenient location to downtown Homer and Cortland. It's so close to my favorite coffee shop Coffee mania. Their dog Lily was so cute and friendly.

We had a lovely stay at Kurt's place! The room was set up nicely and they made sure we had everything we could have possibly needed. Kurt and his family were without a doubt the kindest, most welcoming hosts we have encountered on AirBnb!

Ryan and Hannah were friendly and hospitable hosts. They offered us suggestions on restaurants in the area and were very easy to talk to. The apartment was as appears in the photos- clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished. The location was convenient to the town of Cortland and the college, and Ithaca was a scenic 45 minute drive. I would highly recommend staying with Ryan and Hannah and would gladly stay with them again.

Perfect place to stay while snowboarding at local resorts. Host were kind and loved the dawgs. Gave local recommendation for places to eat and felt welcome to their home. Bed was comfortable and living room was perfect to relax. Liked the separate entrance to the room to not have to bother them with coming or going. Loved the BBQ joint across the street. Delicious hot roast beef dinner.

Ryan and Hannah are friendly, professional hosts with two adorable, young children. They respond quickly to questions and are easy to reach in person or via texts. The venue was clean and comfortable, and the photos were an accurate depiction. The backyard was peaceful and relaxing with birds, bunnies, chipmunks, and fireflies. We enjoyed our week-long stay in the Homer, NY area, and Hannah and Ryan made us feel very welcome.

This was the perfect location for my daughter and me while we were doing college visits at Syracuse University and Ithaca College! Ryan was very thorough when showing me all the ins and outs of the place. And offered a fully loaded fridge of beer and frosty mugs in the freezer! (more for the next guest since I prefer wine!) ;) The fully furnished, refinished basement was perfect for our short stay and there was even a beautiful pool offered to us, although we didn't stay long enough to take advantage of it! Ryan and Hanna were the perfect hosts, who did their utmost to make my stay enjoyable. Easy access to the washing machine and drier was really useful during my 5 day stay. The residence is spacious and quiet, which was helpful as I was needing to also get some work done during my visit.

Ryan met me at the door upon my arrival and showed me to the space. He was very thorough, giving me the ins and outs of the rooms. Made several suggestions on where to et and such. Pointed out where I might want to grab coffee and breakfast. Then I met Hannah and their new born baby, what a cutie. Accommodations were clean and comfortable.

This apartment is exactly as it is described. It was clean and had a very comfortable bed. AC unit covered the street noise which had been mentioned in earlier reviews. Very convenient location for restaurants and access to interstate highways. Ample parking in area behind the house. Well lighted at night.

Christine was absolutely incredible in terms of communicating and making sure I was informed of every aspect of check in and check out. So friendly and kind, an absolute dream to work with. The room was fantastic, very clean and well air conditioned on some of the hottest days of the year thus far. Big big fan of the room and Christine. Ten out of ten would stay again!

A cute little apartment with easy access to Cortland. Ithaca was just a few minutes down the road. We enjoyed exploring the Book Barn and the Sciencenter.

Nice little place, close to stores and restaurants

Chrissy & Gordon are wonderful hosts. The communication is stellar & the apartment met our needs for a great price. The street noise was loud (even over the a/c unit in the bedroom & a white noise machine we brought), but not unbearable. There's a Starbucks right across the street, along with several other quick food options within walking distance. Easily accessible from the interstate. We would use Chrissy as a host again.

Maggie is very kind, she bakes a very delicious bread for breakfast, so called zucchini bread. I had a comfortable room, all very clean.

Maggie was very welcoming and friendly when I arrived. She made me feel right at home and showed me around. She did a good job of making sure I knew where everything that I would need was located in the house. The breakfast the next morning was great and everything went very smoothly during my stay. I would recommend Maggie's Boarding House to anyone looking for a welcoming place to stay that makes you feel at home.

Great location, pretty noisy street, easy communication

Jackson's communication was great, very quick responses. The house is easy to find and the apartment is spacious. I was happy to have the full kitchenette with fridge/freezer and microwave and coffee. My daughter and I planned a last minute trip to Ithaca so this was a perfect place for the night!! If we come back through the area we'd stay here again.

Close to stores and shopping. Great price for a place to yourself. Short drive to mini golf and state parks.

The place was very nice and clean, as shown, and in a wonderful place with easy parking. I apparently missed, however, that there was no WiFi, which was sadly unexpected. I believe he is trying to fix this, just check with him so you don't miss it like me! Jack met me to go over access to the building and was very welcoming.

Debbie was pleasant to work with. Lovely kitchen and downstairs area. The bedroom with two double beds was actually two futons. Not large enough for two adults. One futon was in bad shape and would be best for one child. Enjoyed the view of the water and quiet road.

Beautiful house on quiet lake great for families and friends

The home was very bare bones. There was no couch, no AC, no internet and no cable. It is really not a comfortable place to spend time at. There were no curtains, no drawers, no closet doors. The home included only what is needed for an overnight stay. The pictures are deceiving and only show a partial view of what is really there. Note that there aren't pictures of every room.

Great cottage for trekking and close to Ithaca. Spacy and clean

We loved the house and the location. The house is decorated with a lake theme. The backyard is the lake. It was beautifully sitting in the backyard and watching boaters on the lake. Everyone of the boaters waved hello as they passed. It was so relaxing and peaceful. The location for us was great. We were dropping my son off at college in Cortland which is only 15 minutes away. Then we went to the New York State fair in Syracuse which was only 25 minutes away. It was so much better than staying at a hotel. We will definitely rent this house again!!! Loved it!!!!!

My family and I stays for 5 days and had a great time. We loved hanging out on the dock and swimming during the day and roasting marshmallows s and hot dogs in the fire. The stars were magnificent! It looked like a gazillion diamonds in the sky!

Karen's Lake House is lovely--just as described. She is genuinely happy to have guests and goes out of her way to make guests welcome and comfortable. She really seems to enjoy her home and her role as host. The lake is beautiful. They had a fire pit ready for us to have a fire on the dock.

The stay was perfect for our family get together. All the comforts of home! The decks are wonderful, new gas grill, kayaks and fire pit are outstanding! It is a lovely place to stay.

Karen was the perfect host. Everything was exactly as described and we had everything we needed for a few days away. We used the fire pit almost every night, which was a highlight of our stay.

The Lake house was peaceful and quiet.

We had a wonderful time this past weekend at your lovely Lakehouse. We haven't had a nice "family" vacation in awhile and this was just the place for some "family bonding time." The kids loved it, even our puppy had fun exploring the new surroundings. ( water, ducks, boats) Thank you Karen and Emmett for the opportunity to stay at your place. We felt right at home, your place had all the necessities of home, didn't have to bring anything but food. Loved the awesome view and being that close to the lake was so relaxing. This was possibly the best place we stayed in all summer. Everything about it was lovely. The home was cozy, clean, private, and in a beautiful, picturesque setting. Karen was professional and so kind. She instilled great and immediate confidence as she responded quickly to all communication and was clear about all her expectations. We will definately come back! Above and beyond our expectations: Karen meet us a upon arrival, we were given use of their kayaks and canoe, they provided wood for the fire pit and offered to build our first fire, plenty of room, well-stocked kitchen supplies, wi-fi, a nice washer, dryer, and grill.

I think it would be hard to overstate how much Cynthia's place exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful and immaculate, the views are amazing and it was sooo quiet! The grounds were full of beautiful flowers and berries in season. The house had many details (fresh flowers in the bedroom, etc.) that just made our stay extra special. We had the best time, and this might be the nicest place we ever stayed. I hope we get the chance to come and visit again.

We are so happy with our stay at Cindy's place! She met us at the house and gave us a tour. The home was so cozy and clean for the 3 of us! We will miss the chipmunks, deer and all the beautiful birds. Cindy take great pride in her landscaping! There is also a buffalo farm right up the road. The only thing missing was a keurig coffee maker. We will definitely be back when we visit family again in the area.

This house provides great views of central NY. It has all the amenities that are needed. The water did taste a bit different, but we were given a heads up by the host so it was not a big deal. It is 30 min. South of Syracuse but give the illusion of bring in the wilderness. Great house!

Great get quiet and in the country with beautiful gardens, loved our stay

The house is amazing! My parents had a fabulous time! We arrived kind of late on the first day and unfortunately we were not able to meet Cynthia in person. The house is super clean and it is so quite! Cynthia has a great collection of tea pots and you can find everything you need in the house. We would love to come back again!

Cynthia's place is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with gorgeous views from the dining area. Overall, check in and check out were very smooth, and Cynthia was very accommodating when our check-in plans changed. My only complaint was the strong smell of sulfur in the water. The water was clean, and we understood that the smell was a result of the well water system, but it was definitely tough to get used to. I'd recommend bringing some bottled water to drink just in case. Thanks so much to Cynthia for a great stay!

A lovely, cozy home in a peaceful country setting with beautiful views. Many birds to watch as well as chipmunks. Just relax, read a book, soak in the scenery or enjoy everything the area has to offer. The Finger Lake area is a wonderful gem.

What a wonderful cottage on a quiet and serene lake. Kathleen was very communicative and gave us wonderful directions right to her hidden vacation home. We were greeted with a wonderful note and some fresh baked muffins. We cooked the first night and spent the next day kayaking on the lake then exploring Filmore Glen State park. The cottage was beautiful and the photos do not do it justice.

We booked with Kathleen and were pleasantly surprised from the beginning with how prompt and diligent she was with her responses. We booked the cottage with no issues and Kathleen was extremely professional during the entire process. When we arrived at the property we were astounded with how little the posted pictures actually conveyed the beauty of both the property and the actual cottage. The cottage was absolutely beautiful and it was well laid out with all the essentials available and easily accessible. There was a nice "house warming gift" laid out by Kathleen and a note imploring us to have a nice visit. The property was absolutely beautiful and had a very nice view of the sunset. The beach access was very convenient and we were able to kayak through the very warm lake.

Kathleen's cottage is an absolute dream in every sense. The location is lovely - beautiful spot on Lake Como with lovely views both inside and out on the patio and dock. Close to neighbors but very secluded and totally "off the grid" - no internet, no cell service. It's a very rustic spot down a dirt path about 15 minutes from any town, but the cottage itself is not rustic at all - it is beautifully appointed with fabulous decor, comfortable seating and a great kitchen. Kayaks were great for an easy 15-minute paddle to the other side of the lake, and the rowboat was great for fishing (albeit with paddles rather than rowboat oars). The lake area immediately by the cottage has a lot of vegetation - just something to note for fishing or swimming. Kathleen was communicative and friendly. Overall, cannot say enough nice things about this spot and hope to come back again!

Kathleen's Shabby Chic Cottage was an unbelievable experience. Exquisitely furnished and decorated, it was an utterly perfect way to spend a weekend relaxing. The kitchen and bathroom were equipped with everything we could possibly need for the weekend. The bed was comfortable and plush. The views of the lake were breathtaking. We used the kayaks for a relaxing afternoon on the lake. We very highly recommend this beautiful hideaway to anyone who's looking for a secluded, comfortable weekend. Great value for your money.

Along with an always friendly dog, the hosts welcome guests warmly. Optimally furnished with essential amenities (moderate-bandwidth WiFi and microwave oven) for business travelers, and about 20 min drive to Cornell University. Scenic and relaxing view from bedrooms, set in a quiet, residential area.

Our stay could not have been more comfortable, enjoyable or more convenient. It was close to where our son needed to be and we were surrounded by all the things that made us feel like we were 'home' as opposed to away. Julie was so accommodating to our plans and our needs! So if you are staying in the area, check out this wonderful place which has an added bonus of a very friendly and so very well trained dog, Betty!

Julie's place was very comforting and a great place to go to at the end of a long day. She had board games and snacks too, which was nice to unwind to. The whole house was very clean and nicely stocked if you needed anything at all. The beds were very comfortable as well. The location is not too far of a drive (10 minutes) to SUNY Cortland and the downtown area. This was nice to go out for a drink. It is far enough where you don't hear the downtown hustle and bustle! I fully recommend this house and would be staying again if I ever needed to visit the area again! We went to Greek Peak and the drive was very easy for anyone that wants to go snowboarding and skiing!

We had an excellent stay at Julie's place (Betty's Garden Getaway)! The property was exactly as shown on the website, very clean, comfortable and plenty of room for our party of four adults and a dog. And decorated very nicely for the holidays! Julie is very easy to reach, and exceptionally welcoming: she had holiday gifts of champagne and orange juice for us, and home-made dog biscuits for our dog! And her dog, Betty, was very friendly too - our dog really enjoyed playing with her in the yard. We look forward to staying here again on our next visit to Cortland!

What a great experience! The accommodations were clean, quiet, well maintained, and very comfortable. The area is surrounded by lush green farms and other scenic beauties. And what a surprise bonus for us, we got to meet the neighbors, Tony and Lois., who welcomed us to the neighborhood. They were totally awesome. The apt was exactly as described and in a beautiful quiet location.. our family had the best family weekend while visiting our son at college. Margie's place is exactly as advertised. For a couple staying there, it is spacious and comfortable, and the pool table is a nice touch. We stayed only two nights, getting in late at night and leaving early each morning, so we didn't meet Margie, but the communication couldn't have been smoother. I would definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderful stay with Margie and her family! They were there if I needed them, but I did have my privacy. The sheets were the most comfortable I have ever slept in! and the towels were nice and thick! The apartment is quite large and white glove test clean. Definitely a superb choice!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Walkout Basement Apartment. Our host made us feel very welcome and offered help whenever we needed it. We didn't though, as we had everything we needed there. The description was accurate, but in reality the house was even better. The area was large, included a TV, and a little area for making coffee. The house was in a beautiful rural area that was quiet and relaxing. I give this Airbnb a thumbs up!

This was a great and comfortable space for our little family's visit to the area. Jeannette was a great host who made sure we had what we needed and a gate for the stairway. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals and the hope lake park nearby was a pleasant surprise for running as well as swimming. We will definitely be back if schedules allow.

The views were amazing and the house was beautiful. Cute spiral staircase leading to attic or basement. Everything you could need for the trip was available including a small grill. There were even tvs and blue ray players with movies which was a nice surprise. Absolutely worth the money!

Well equipped home - easily accompanied our family of five, and well stocked with games and BR DVD's for adults & kids. Kitchen is well equipped and we were able to prepare and eat our meals at the chalet with ease and in comfort. Loved the new grill on the deck which we used several times. Could have accommodated 3-5 more guests! Jeannette is super friendly and helpful, and makes herself available by text or e-mail - she always answered very quickly. For our family ski vacation, this was the perfect combination of proximity to Greek Peak, convenience of very efficient shuttle service to the ski lodge and HLL, privacy, and all the comforts of one's own home. We definitely plan to return!

Jeannette was a great host during my stay. She was very responsive and accommodating. The rooms were clean and there was more than enough clean towels and sheets for everyone. She even went out of her way to get a new grill for us to enjoy while staying at her place. The house was spacious for a group of 6, with room to spare, and only a 5 min drive to a nice family lake. Jeannette was also very flexible on the time we checked in and out, which made the stay that much easier. I would definitely stay here again.
