  • Angie’s den is surely not one to disappoint! We stayed one and night and wanted to stay longer! The unique touches really are something else! (Especially the hot tub) which was amazing! The place was clean and spotless! And it catered for every need! Kath was an exceptional host and made sure we knew she was available at any point if we needed anything! Would definitely recommend to anyone and will surely be back again!

    Jamie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing and relaxing stay. It was more than we expected. My boyfriend and I wanted a relaxing weekend in a quiet place and this did the job perfectly. The hot tub is such a nice touch, and being just outside the front door, you can run back in once you're done and it's not too chilly! The bed was super comfortable, and the hut is so cosy (Jan2020 visit). There are so many beautiful thoughtful touches that it feels like home away from home. Being able to bbq in Jan was a crazy thought but so nice, saving us having to drive anywhere for food. Kath and Paddy were so lovely, really welcoming hosts and left you to it which was lovely. Thank you so much for an amazing stay, will be recommending it to all our friends and will definitely come back. 🧡

  • Had such a lovely weekend here for my boyfriends birthday! The place was beautiful and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back :)

  • I’m a big city girl so not used to the country life but Thomas and his stunning hideaway country escape could easily convert me! We spent 2 nights there for my birthday and Thomas was a fantastic host, you can tell he really puts his heart into this! Check-in was smooth and thorough, the cottage was well equipped but he’d included some extra little touches that made us feel special (his freshly baked bread is wonderful!) and he was always on hand with suggestions of things to do, takeaways or supply us with another bottle of wine! Such a helpful and pleasant guy, it really made our trip! The setting of the cottage is really beautiful (but also very private and not overlooked by other cottages) and you can take a lovely peaceful and scenic walk through the countryside before coming back to relax in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly! Thomas was busy finishing his latest addition to the hideaway which was an exclusive little spa area with sauna. It looked amazing and was the perfect finishing touch to this fabulous little retreat! I’ve already recommended the hideaway to so many friends and clients and I imagine we will be back to explore more of the area or just when we are in need of some R&R! Thank you Thomas for your hospitality!

  • We had a perfect stay at Thomas’ place. He was a great host and gave us some recommendations of local places to eat which we went to. The hideaway was perfect for a couple and our baby, just enough room and really cozy The hot tub was a great addition especially to warm up in the midst of storm ciara Very comfy bed Good location to local places of interest and the A55 to visit other areas We would definitely stay again - we can’t wait for the tropical sauna to be built

    Adella2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Just returned from a lovely 2 night switch off from reality at The Hideaway. The place was just perfect for a surprise 30th getaway for my other half, the location was beautiful and the accommodation provided everything we needed to just relax. Luckily the storm stayed off until the day we left so we got the opportunity to make the most of the hot tub and take a walk in the local surroundings. 100% recommend! Thanks Thomas for being super helpful host 👍

    Michelle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Thomas's was perfect from beginning to end. We went for our mini-moon, which Thomas was aware of, we were greeted with a bottle of presseco to celebrate. The accommodation was very clean, tidy and modern. It felt very homely and romantic, with all of the beautiful fairy lights. The hot tub was a lovely touch for the evenings and Thomas came and cleaned it every morning to ensure it was working at it's very best for us. He provided us with recommendations on the best places to eat and visit, and one evening surprised us with a voucher for a local restaurant and a box of chocolates for our drive home. These little touches made the trip all that more special and we will definitely be going back.

    Laura2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Thomas’ place was brilliant from start to finish! Unable to make it for check in time, Thomas was happy to accommodate a later check in and met us promptly for a speedy handover. Dinner recommendation was perfect, The Piccadilly Inn served a delicious meal and wasn’t too far. The space has everything you need, including thoughtful touches like homemade bread and milk. Everywhere was lovely and clean and the hot tub was something else! If you’re looking for a break I can’t recommend Thomas’ place enough!

    Paige2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • A very romantic stay for my boyfriend's birthday .We just chilled basically cause there was Netflix so we catched up on a few series on a massive comfy bed. It was a shame when it's foggy since I really wanted to see some stars while relaxing in a hot tub . Nice touches with bread and milk and the beautifully wrapped chocolate for our journey back home . The only issue is that it takes a while to heat up water for tea since there's those traditional kettle over the stove and the rubbish that we need to take back home with us. Other than that it was great. I totally recommend this place for a nice getaway.

  • The tiny house was a perfect getaway - the hot tub made it extra special. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere and loved the peace and quiet.

    Shannon2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We were welcomed with a loaf of fresh baked bread on arrival. Very welcoming. Good host with lots of tips about area and great food recommendations. Lovely quiet location with pleasant view.

  • Amazing stay at the Bothy. Such a cosy living area with the most amazing bath tub! The hot tub views were also amazing. Thomas was a great host and offered lots of local information throughout our stay. The place is perfect if you want to escape the city life for a weekend and there’s plenty of nice pubs in the area too. Would 100% visit again!

    Laura2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely amazing place to stay for a nice and romantic trip away. The bothy is really something special and believe me you will not be disappointed!! Thomas is great and deserves so much praise. Great location lovely surroundings and very local to great places to visit. I would highly recommend a pub called dinorben arms 👌

    Graham2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Stunning location, thanks to Thomas’ directions easy to find and amazing views. The property was cosy and warm with nice added touches. The bathroom is very relaxing as is the hot tub. Thomas was a great host with loads of useful tips for the local area. Overall a great stay

    Toni2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really amazing time at the bothy. We spent New Years Eve there too, and had an amazing night. The bothy is really clean and quaint. The bathroom was amazing, despite being accessed by leaving the property (something to bear in mind, but we had absolutely no issues with it). Robes were provided for just that! Thomas left lots of lovely touches such as stollen, fresh bread and other bits and bobs. We had 3 amazing meals at Con Amici (get a cab there so you can enjoy their cocktail bar, or collect a takeaway pizza!), the Piccadilly Inn (really great dinner) and the Glas Fryn pup for NYE which is the sister of the Dinorben Arms. Can recommend all these eateries, and they cater for lots of palettes! The tub was a delight and we could even see the town NYE fireworks from it! All round a great stay - it was an ideal couples stay. We will recommend to all our friends!

We are happy to point you in the direction, or recommend anything you’d like during your stay.
  • What a fantastic little place to stay, great hospitality spotless clean and comfortable Great for touring around and fantastic village 5 mins drive up the road 2 pubs 10 minute walk. The accommodation was nice and warm dont feel put of if you think it's going to be cold we can assure you it's very warm, we stayed in march very cold out but in our little den was perfect. You wont be disappointed with this place lovely people and even the family dog made us welcome. You must stay here.

    David2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The pacapod was a perfect couples getaway. We arrived in horrendous weather, but despite the wind and rain the pod soon warmed up and was lovely and cosy and completely dry. We were blessed with better weather the following days and got to meet the animals, the family are very knowledgable about the alpacas and donkeys and we had a great time. There are plenty of restaurants and a big tesco nearby for supplies, the pod did have basics in already. The farm is peaceful and the pod is well equipped and nicely decorated. Couldn’t recommend highly enough! We will definitely be returning.

    Toni2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Julia & Zoe were fab hosts - attentive and welcoming. They offered great dinner suggestions and allowed us to help on the holding feeding the alpacas and donkeys. The pod itself is beautifully decorated, has everything you need to have a cosy stay including milk, butter, bread, cereals & tea and coffee. - a lovely touch. All in all a really lovely place to relax and we hope to return in the summer. Thanks so much.

    Shelley2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A thoughtfully laid out log cabin complete with all the amenities you would need for a weekend retreat! We also appreciated getting to meet all the alpacas, chickens and donkeys. Would definitely return!

    Anthony2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Incredible space, everything you need is here. Super comfy and clean, lovely seeing the animals in the morning. Lovely location and the host were super helpful when needed. 100% would stay here again.

    Abbie2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • The pod is really cute, comfortable and immaculately clean and the bed is so comfy! It looks out on to the alpaca field and in the morning the chickens come by to say hello. Lovely hosts, with excellent communication and very helpful. We only stayed 2 nights but I wish it was longer. The local pub, the Devon doorway does really delicious meals too and it’s just a few minutes walk away. The perfect escape from busy city life.

    Stacey2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Loved our stay in the ‘Paca Pod! Very comfortable and toasty, we arrived on a windy week and the pod was warm and cosy we didn’t even think about the weather outside! We briefly met Zoe and she was fantastic with recommendations and letting us know everything about the pod to make us comfortable, we throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back when the weather is sunny and bright! Many Thanks Zoe and Julia!

    Jessica2020-02-01T00:00:00Z

  • Thanks for a lovely stay. Lovely views, and we had great weather which made it a great peaceful break away from our busy lives! Comfy sofa bed - had a great sleep, loved the log burner and did not realise there was a fire pit also outside which we could have used! We brought board games, I liked the fairy lights and candles. Compost toilet wasn't an issue for just 2 nights. Great walks to Moel Famou and the surrounding area. We ate lunch at a countryside pub - GlasFryn - recommended by Jenny - great views and good food and service! We look forward to exploring more of wales now. :).

  • We had a lovely, cosy stay at the bothy. The bothy is very cute. Although near road, you couldn’t hear any noise at night, only the wind outside and the cracklings of the log burner and the view of the hills in the morning is glorious.Jenny was very attentive and friendly. Thanks for having us.

  • Wonderful warm reception upon arrival, everything was better than described, the pics do not do this beautiful place any justice, everything you need is within walking distance and our host was epic, he even threw in a cheeky bottle of wine 😁 we will be staying again as this was such a nice place to stay and the hot tub is to die for oh god, after the long drive it was beautiful just to sit and boil 😂. Overall 110% perfection, hot tub cabin and host were better than expected and would recommend this to everyone, what an epic stay thank you Howard for having us ❤️

  • Howard was a great host, really nice and friendly. His place was better than expected pictures don’t do it justice, the hot tub was the highlight! The place was very clean and also left a bottle of wine in the fridge which was very thoughtful, had to leave early as had issues of my own but apart from that Howard’s place was great !

    Anthony2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Howard’s place is in a great location, directly across from the beach in a nice quiet area. The accommodation is a built - in wooden like chalet, cosy and intimate enough for 2 people on a short stay. We were pleasantly greeted for check-in by Howard (and his two v cute dogs) whom quickly showed us around. Our bathroom is situated downstairs in the main house, but is easily accessible and still allowed privacy for both parties. The hot tub was easy to use and clean, paired with a nice bottle of wine gifted from the host. All in all, pleasant stay.

Also the town stands at the top of the Greenfeld Valley where much evidence of Industrial history can be viewed in the Heritage Park and where the remains of Basingwork Abbey stand. Holywell is within easy reach of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It is also in close proximity to all of North Wales, Snowdonia and Chester and about 1 hour's drive to Liverpool.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Fernbank. Sue and Eldon were very kind and their hospitality was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble. Equally I had my privacy but knew if I needed help it would be there. Welcoming touches were nice too. The view from here is amazing. I couldnt stop looking out of the window. Very well placed location. I found some very nice places in the area and was also able to quickly get to popular coastal places and Snowdonia as the A55 is very nearby. Well placed for town centre Tesco/Lidl. Highly recommended and I have every intention to return.

  • This is a very comfortable, spacious split-level apartment in a good location within the town and a really advantageous spot just off the A55. Sue is a top-quality host. If we ever again need a place to stay in North Wales this will be the first place we check. 😊

    Martin2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a cracking cottage and Brice made us feel right at home. Room is comfortable and cosy but spacious as well. There’s a nice place for breakfast just down the road (Stones Bistro) which we highly recommend. Enormous fri-up for a tenner. It’s also worth noting that all proceeds from this Airbnb go to Brice’s charity work in Africa which we thought was lovely. Perfect stay. Thanks Brice!

  • Wonderful old house, warm and clean, comfy bed; I liked it and would go back. Brice is a jewel - been everywhere on the planet, stories galore. Lots of restaurants and cafes about 5 minutes away. A half hour to the "Ferry, cross the Mercey", to Liverpool. It was raining, so I missed the cathedral. Next time. Liverpool has seven miles of docks that used to send a hundred ships a day filled with emigrants to the US.

  • Brice's home is definitely worth a visit. I've done quite a a few AirBnB's and this is my favourite. Brice is good company if that's what you want, very helpful on where to eat out, but otherwise he'll leave you to your own devices if that's what you want. Heswall is a 15 minute walk away & it has loads of restaurants. A nice area & very quite. Best sleep I've had in ages!

This beautiful barn conversion is ideally situated in the North Wales countryside, with views over the Clwydian Range but only 10 minutes drive to the sea, and handy for people working at Gwynt y Mor. Oak beams, log burner, bath, shower and a four poster king size bed offer additional comfort for an ideal romantic break. Large TV with range of DVD's and games available for those rainy days by the fire. Play station is also available. Nothing is too much trouble for your hosts. We aim to please.
The bedroom offers plenty of space to accomodate a baby in a travel cot which we can supply or you can bring your own camp bed for one child. There's an enclosed and very private garden. The cottage has oil central heating and a lot burner to keep you warm.
We are in the countryside enjoying beautiful views and a multitude of popular walking or cycling routes. However we are less than five mins from the A55 expressway which will take you to Conwy and Anglesey in one direction and Chester in the other. Ten mins to the sea or 30 to a lovely beach and Prestatyn. It really is the best of both worlds. We are also closely situated to the base for Gwynt y Mor windfarm making it convenient for windfarm workers who also want a bit of piece and quiet during their stay.
  • Gorgeous little hideaway in a really lovely, quiet location. The log burner fire made the place so cosy and the four poster bed was so comfortable. Location was great for trips out and the place had all the things you needed to cook meals in. It was such a well needed break

    Louise2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay here. Quiet location with beautiful rural views. The barn itself was spacious but cosy with lots of character. Would highly recommend.

  • Lovely relaxing accommodation. Lots of little nice touches, shampoo, shower gels ect. Home from home place to get away from it all, set in beautiful countryside. Really comfortable bed, which makes all the difference to a great night's sleep. Unfortunately storm Ciara arrived whilst we were there. But with a lovely log burner, dvds and games we were happy to stay in our comfortable surroundings and stay warm and safe. Great recommendation from Sue for a local pub the Crown Inn. Made us feel welcome and the food was amazing. We will definitely be returning again, for another getaway. Thanks to you both for a great stay.

    Jayne2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my Husband (and dog) stayed here over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. When we arrived the instructions Sue had given were easy to follow. Once we got inside we realised it was just such a beautiful little cottage !! The pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely perfect for a couple and a dog as the cottage has a little enclosed garden to run around in & we had lots of room. The amenities were perfect. I recooked a hot pot I had made at home but we could have easily made a full roast with what was available. Sue made a great effort decorating the place for Christmas and even left us some chocolates, mince pies & shortbread. The bathroom was lovely too, nice sized bath & good shower. The bedroom has to be the best part. That bed!!! We just didn’t want to get out of it! The comfiest thing we have ever slept on. We had an absolutely lovely stay and we will definitely be back to stay again! Thank you Sue xx

    Lindsey2019-12-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is a lovely, warm and cosy but very spacious barn conversion, beautifully renovated, decorated and well-equipped. There were lots of little touches too that made us feel extra welcome, including breakfast crumpets and, as our stay was just before Christmas, there were mince pies and a tastefully decorated & lit tree too. Seemingly little things, like providing a tea towel, toilet rolls and a range of spare toiletries made a big difference too. As you enter, there's a vestibule where you can leave coats and boots. The bathroom is a great size and the shower is hot. There's one large living space comprising kitchen, lounge and dining areas; the kitchen has all mod cons and the lounge has a fantastic feature fireplace with a wood burner. There's also stained glass skylight to look up to too! The separate bedroom has lots of storage, and a very comfortable king size four-poster bed; coupled with the quiet countryside location, that makes for a very good night's sleep. There's a front patio door which we found handy for access when (un)loading the car, and a rear patio door which leads to a private seating and BBQ area, with a view of the field behind. The location is great for peace and quiet, but with easy access to Holywell and the surrounding areas, whether you want to access to town, coast or countryside. Sue is a wonderful host, making sure that we were happy and comfortable, and also pointed us in the right direction for a walk up Moel Famau for some unbeatable views of miles around. It was just what we needed for a relaxing couple of days away.

    Catherine2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • If Carlsberg did short breaks !!!... What a fantastic hidden little gem... Loved the open plan living space, comfortable bed, romantic log fire, spotlessly clean, very friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble... what more can you ask for ?... Will be returning for sure !!!

This small but perfectly formed cottage has a inglenook fireplace with a log burning stove, which we have married together with under floor heating throughout. This former miners cottage has all mod cons and is warm and comfortable. Well located for work or leisure it is close to Chester, Cheshire Oaks Outlet village and the beautiful countryside and coastline of North Wales. Suitable for singles, couples or small families.
  • Lovely cosy cottage, exactly what we needed for staying over the Christmas period. Lovely and warm with underfloor heating. Sandra was great to communicate with and left some nice Christmassy touches to welcome us (mince pies and crackers as well as Xmas tree and decs). Would definitely visit again.

  • Now that I've stayed at this lovely cottage, I can see why other reviews rave about the underfloor heating....in winter it's amazing. I just loved this cottage and found the space to be perfectly cosy and amazingly relaxing with the roaring fire. Slept like a baby, as it's also quiet and dark, but if feeling lazy, you can watch telly in bed.

    Therese2019-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Hey Sandra, thank you so much for your speedy communication and perfect hospitality, our getaway was close to disaster and thanks to you and Lily Terrace it's been wonderful, tranquil, peaceful and relaxing - the beds were ideal (we all slept v heavy), the underfloor heating was a lush treat and your welcome folder was packed full of useful info (and funny too "I'm a firestarter" brilliant). We would love to come again one day! Thank you so much

  • This is a homely cottage, very cosy and comfortable with lovely decor and a great log burner. The cottage is spotless, the kitchen contains everything you will need and the beds are really comfortable. In addition there is a collection of reading material, DVDs and games for adults and children, plus tourist information. On arrival Sandra had left a useful information pack and a thoughtful assortment of necessary food items. We would definitely stay here again.

Our loft apartment is modern light and spacious . It has been beautifully refurbished and contains everything needed for a self catering break. The apartment is detached from our property. It has its own front door with a private parking space next to it so you can come and go as you please . Our family home is across the courtyard and so we are on hand to help with any queries you may have and offer as much or as little support as you are happy with. Access can be gained via a keysafe. Note that access is up one flight of stairs. The apartment is beautifully furnished to a high standard and has everything you require for a self catering break. A small welcome pack is provided with a few basic items such as tea , coffee, and milk. There is a small private outside space to the back of the apartment with table and chairs. We do accept 1 well behaved dog with a charge of £10 payable before departure .
Nannerch is a lovely village at the foot of the Clwydian Hills with lots of beautiful walks on the doorstep. There is a great village pub that does food most evenings that you can walk to and several other lovely eating places just a short drive away. The apartment is an ideal rural retreat suited to walking, cycling, sightseeing or visiting friends locally. The market town of Mold is a 15 min drive away. Here there are more restaurants, supermarkets, shops and Theatre Clwyd. Chester is 30 mins away with its cathedral, city walls, shopping rows, museums and zoo. Snowdonia and Anglesey are approx 1 hour away and the sandy beaches of the North Wales coast approx 30 mins away .

  • A wonderful place to spend a few days away, couldn't have wished for any more with our stay at the loft. Tracy was a fabulous host, gave us a lovely welcome and couldn't have done enough for us. The apartment was immaculately presented, super clean, and the bed was the most comfortablewe have ever slept on. Great touches, even introduced my wife to the game of Yahtzee, some little games were a fab touch. Thank you Tracy and Mark, we hope to see you again.

Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

  • Fantastic shepherds hut to stay in - probably the best one we’ve stayed in to date. Very easy to find as google maps takes you right there and the logo (on the profile pic) is on signs right up to the main gate! We headed to Liverpool after and managed to get there in really good time, so will definitely look to stay here again whilst we’re on our way up north 😊

We were also fortunate enough to receive fresh eggs which went down a treat for breakfast. The shepherd hut was very clean and had everything we needed for our short break with our dog.

  • Dale greeted me on arrival and showed me around . She is friendly and ensured I knew how to contact her if needed. The flat is ideal for a couple or lone traveller. It was perfect for me. The flat is modern and very comfortable. I was able to truely relax at the flat. Dale lives above the flat but it's very private and secure. I would highly recommend Dale as a host and her flat for a stay

    Jane2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • The flat annexe is cosy, stylish, comfortable, clean, quiet and the host has provided all the necessary things to make it a home away from home. Dale was particularly understanding about us having to travel a long way after a busy day, which delayed the check-in time. (highly appreciate it! ) .The weather didn’t help at all for exploring the surroundings but the place was warm and there was even Netflix available. Many thanks again for hosting us, Dale, we would gladly book again in the future!

    Cristina2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great little annex. Small but has all that you’d need, kept lovely and clean. There is a cat in the main house which goes into the annex (I have a cat allergy and it flared up terribly). No problem if no cat allergy.

  • Absolutely unbelievable both the stay and Liz. She sorted out a surprise birthday pack for my girlfriend which was definitely worth the money. When we met Liz, she told us about everything we’d need to know during the stay, there was leaflets on local activities. Everything needed was provided and we can’t fault the place, worth every penny and hope we’ll get to experience it again

    Mike2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely lovely couple of days, the pod is amazing, well equipped, clean, warm and cosy, a great space, with lovely views and a lovely hot tub to relax in. Great location, a really warm welcome from Liz too and great local recommendations.

  • What a little slice of heaven! Booked the Bumble pod for my husbands 30th. The pod was immaculate. The hot tube was ready on arrival and Liz welcomed us and showed us the controls. The pods are very private and it's easy to forget anyone else is near by. Absolutely will be returning

    Quita2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely place to stay, hot tub was fantastic. If you want to leave the Pod & Hot tub there are loads of places to visit nearby. We were happy to stay and relax for our stay. Our decision now is when to visit again?

    Nick2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Liz is easily the best host I’ve come across. Went above and beyond to help with little touches for my partners birthday. Liz responds to messages very promptly and it’s clearly very passionate and attentive to looking after her pods. The bumblebee pod is a lovely and quaint accommodation and did us nicely for the weekend. Even in the winter it was lovely and warm.

    Lewis2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • A fabulous stay in a pretty part of Wales. Super easy to get to from the motorway. The pod was modern, clean, cosy and welcoming. Everything we needed was there, a little fridge, microwave and toaster. The constant unending access to our private not tub made it a trip to remember. Liz was so lovely and friendly when r arrived. We would definitely stay here again!

    Naomi2020-01-04T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing, clean and beautiful pod! The bed is super comfortable, the hot tub gives a clear view of the night sky and the location is perfect if you are looking to get away and relax. The little touches added make the stay so much more magical. Would highly recommend.

Lambing time Feb to April an experience not to be missed. Our static caravan is situated on a working farm in the hills of North Wales overlooking the the Dee estuary and wirral peninsula. Chester is 20 minutes by car and snowdonia about 50 minutes away.
You have 100 acres of our farm land to roam and 2000 acres of common land right next door with open access. Dogs should be kept on a lead in most areas on the farm. please ask if you want somewhere for your dog to run free.
We are next to 2000 acres of common land where your free to roam the mountain paths alongside the local sheep. There are 3 public Houses within walking distance a village shop 1.5 miles away open till 10pm and 24hr shop within 2 miles
  • A wonderful stay at a beautiful location. The static home was bigger than we expected, the lounge/diner/kitchen was more than big enough for 2 adults and a child. Well equipped kitchen, and the lounge boasts a fantastic view from 2 comfortable armchairs. The main bedroom is a decent size with its own toilet and a walk in wardrobe area. The main bathroom is a good size with a great shower cabin. Although it is based on a working farm, it is barely noticeable and very tranquil. And Hayden went the extra mile, allowing us to watch lambing up close, and our granddaughter collecting fresh eggs from the chicken coup.

  • Lovely hosts. Happy to help with anything needed. Place was as described Central heating works very well! Remember to bring your bedding or you can rent it off the hosts. The scenery is awesome Parking space just as in picture by the front door of the caravan Big thanks to our hosts

  • We really enjoyed our weekend break at Hayden’s cosy mobile home. Lovely and warm, fabulous shower and a great layout. We saw the new born lambs and bought eggs that couldn’t have been fresher. Hayden and his Father John were very friendly and helpful. We had a packed day in Liverpool, about half an hour away. Can really recommend the Ferry across the Mersey cruise and the Museum.

    Jane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • This is very great place to relax. Staying in the farm has brought us different enjoyment in holiday. My children love the place. Will come again. Perfect stay for rest

    Wan2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely clean, stylish caravan with everything we could possibly have needed. A real home from home. The views from were great too. My little boy loved seeing all the animals on the farm and watching the tractors go past. Would stay again.

    Alison2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • We had a fabulous holiday here - the caravan is in a great location on the farm, it's peaceful and there are great views across the Dee as well as being close to lots of interesting places to visit. The caravan itself is spacious and warm, it has comfy chairs and a sofa to relax in as well as good cooking facilities and a hot shower. Hayden is a friendly and helpful host.

My home has impressive and uninterrupted views over the river Dee Estuary and the Wirral peninsular. There is a beach within 12 miles and there are restaurants and family-friendly activities nearby. My home is good for solo adventurers and business travelers and is located less than half a mile from the Welsh Coastal Path.
Large and comfortable double bedroom with great views. Bed has mattress and pillow protectors and clean bedding. For stays over seven days - clean bedding will be supplied at regular intervals. Towels (if required) are available at no extra charge.
I live in a typical British neighbourhood, it's in a small village less than two miles away from the nearest town (Holywell) where you will find the usual mix of shops, restaurants, take-a-way's and pubs. I am one mile away from the world-famous St Winifrieds Well - a place of religious pilgrimage for the last 900 years.
  • Lovely Home, Rodney and Jack (dog) are very friendly, hospitable and Rod is a great host, cup of tea ready when I arrived and a lovely man that has a story or 2 to tell about his worldly travels.

  • Rod was an amazing host. He is located in a smallish community about 10 minutes from the nearest train but he had no problem dropping me off and picking me up when I wanted to go out on excursions to Chester and Liverpool. He was full of tips and ideas about things to do and see. His scrambled egg breakfasts were also sensational!! Thanks so much Rod!!

The room was very clean, and the bed very comfortable. His dog Jack is also very sweet, and will play fetch until the early hours of the morning if you're willing indulge him. Would definitely recommend!

Holywell is a small market town located, as the name suggests, around a holy well, with magical healing powers to those that dare to dip in the water! For you non believers it has fantastic woodland walks through the beautiful valley, steeped in history, or those brave of heart can walk up the hill following the trail to a historical monastery, or explore the vast amounts of open mountain with SSSI (site of special scientific interest) areas, where the sheep roam around freely. You can also try a spot of golf, or an Abbey ruin,l. If indoors is more your thing Holywell has a leisure centre with large pool and gym, as well as squash, tennis and many other sports and classes. There are three large supermarkets, several cafes, takeaways, pubs and restaurants, so you will never be hungry or thirsty. If you want a quiet night in, you will find cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils for you to go "masterchef!" and create your own tasty dish. (Although we recommend Tesco meal deal for two! 😊) The studio is a short walk (10mins) into town or you can drive to one of the many free car parks.
  • A lovely place to stay, really well appointed and with beautiful views over the Dee Estuary. Quiet area but close to shops and town centre. Brilliant place for either a holiday or work. Would definitely stay again. Lucia

  • Great spot. Nice view; nice home. Privacy. Would stay there again if I was in the area.

  • Ty Cosy is an exceptionally lovely Airbnb. I loved the views and the private garden and having the patio doors open to let the outside in even in miserable summer weather. Ty cosy is spotless and very well equipped with loads of thoughtful touches. Glenn and family were very friendly and helpful but equally allowed me to have an independent stay. I regularly work in the area so would look to return again, as it was the perfect place to hideaway and chill in the evening after work. Shame I had to go to work 😛 I would definitely recommend a stay here for a relaxed, convienent and chilled getaway!

    Emma2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely and private space with an awesome outlook. Excellent facilities and features - lots of nice touches. Great hosts - very welcoming. We loved our two-night stay there.

    Wyn2018-07-19T00:00:00Z
  • Glenn's home is absolutely wonderful! My fiancé and I were disappointed we had to leave as we fell in love with the small, but extremely cosy interior, the stylish decor and the marvellous views. Upon arrival, Glenn made us feel incredibly welcome and gave us several helpful tips for our stay in Holywell. He had ensured everything was present and ready for us to have a very comfortable and pleasant stay, including a fresh loaf of bread and a carton of milk in the fridge. We thoroughly enjoyed drinking coffee and eating toast whilst sitting outside in the sunshine, gazing at the magnificent estuary. My fiancé and I agreed that the bed was superbly comfortable and that we would happily visit again for a much longer stay. Glenn did a fantastic job of designing and constructing the perfect Holywell hideaway, for a romantic escape in North Wales.

    Gary2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great little hideaway with lovely views. Glenn is a great host, and the place is spotless and well equipped.
