Shepherds Hut with wood fired hot tub. A romantic getaway for couples on The Isle of Anglesey. Our Bespoke Shepherds Hut is situated within easy walking distance from two beautiful beaches and the Anglesey coastal path. Views from the hut are across countryside to the sea.
Bea's Hut is perfect for a romantic getaway for couples wishing to enjoy peace and quiet away from all the stresses of life. The Hut is built on an age old design with a small log burner for cosy nights in during colder periods. It also features all comforts of modern life. Bea's Hut includes: A large fold down double bed with linen, towels and bathrobe Ensuite facilities with a shower, flushing toilet Fully equipped kitchen with gas hob and oven, a small fridge including essentials; milk, eggs, bread and cereals and preserves High speed Wifi, smart TV, USB charging point Outside you will find a log fired hot tub which you can use for an additional charge of £30 per stay payable on arrival or through Airbnb. Great for star gazing, relaxing aching limbs, and enhancing a good night's sleep. There are no chemicals/chlorine used in the water, the tub is cleaned and fresh new water for every changeover. Just a warning to avoid disappointment, If there are gale force winds forecast it may not be possible to use the hot tub. There is a BBQ and patio area with a table and chairs to enjoy a glass or two of your favourite tipple, and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Bea's Hut offers everything you need for a perfect short break away. Bea's Hut is set on our 15 acre small holding, within easy walking distance of two beautiful beaches and Anglesey's coastal path. There are quite often sheep in the field in front of the hut as well as our horse Flamingo. We also have a small friendly dog and a cat. They may want to come and say hello to you. We run a small shellfish business on the farm. The access to Bea's Hut is down a single track country lane with some passing places. There are two other small holiday cottages at the same address. However Bea's Hut is set furthest away and has plenty of privacy. We aim to give all our guests a peaceful relaxing experience.
Anglesey is surrounded by water and therefore also some beautiful beaches. Bea's hut is only a few minutes walk from Sandy Beach. A fabulous beach to walk, sunbathe or swim from. Over a mile long with a caravan site at the far end which has a small shop and a bar. That end usually gets quite busy but this end is normally quiet. Trefadog Beach is a small cove and doesn't get busy and is great for rock pooling and finding interesting creatures.
  • We had a really nice stay at Bea's, feeling right at home we were provided with everything we needed. The weather was a bit wild but that added to the amazing hot tub experience. The shepherd's hut was cosy and we spent two lovely nights warmed by the fire.

  • Bea’s Shepherds hut was immaculately clean and tidy and really cosy. The hot tub is a fantastic touch and it was ideally situated for walks along the Anglesey coastline. Would definitely return.

    Martyn2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Bea was a lovely, attentive host and although the weather was not the best due to the storm, she made sure our stay was as pleasant as could be and even offered us her own home when the weather felt too dangerous for us in the little hut. The hot tub was lovely and just what was needed in the winter weather although we couldn’t use it much due to the storm but it was great for the time we get to spend in it. Would definitely recommend Bea’s hut for a weekend away :) I can imagine the beaches and scenery are beautiful in better weather!

    Aishah2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Bigger space than you think! Lovely stay, lovely hosts, and the hot tub was a great touch! Thank you!

    Amelia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bea’s hut is a great little escape, the hot-tub is amazing in a cold winters night! Everything was nice and clean with lovely small thoughtful touches. Bea was very helpful with great communication and the cat was so sweet and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

    Renata2020-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Such an amazing place for an escape! Not only is the hut itself in a beautiful spot, but it was really spacious for a small space and full of little treats that really made the whole trip so special. We really enjoyed our time and would honestly go back in a heartbeat!

  • Karen's place was perfect for our last minute weekend getaway. Ideal location for exploring Holyhead mountain and south stack. There was a lovely and warm welcome from Karen and inside the van, after spending the day out in the fresh air. It was comfortable, clean and cosy with everything we needed. Would recommend. Thanks Karen.

  • We stayed here on two dark nights in November, either side of a trip to Ireland. It would have been nice to have stayed longer and spent time on Holyhead mountain, but we just stayed here so we could get to the ferry early in the morning, and back late at night. It's not too far to walk from the port, but there are also taxis. The caravan is really comfy, with hot water bottles and heaters for a cold night.

Double room in comfy Holyhead terraced house. A few minutes walk from station, ferry terminal, the Anglesey Coastal path and town centre shops including supermarkets. You are welcome to use the kitchen and living room and there is a downstairs utility room with walk-in shower, WC, washing machine and tumble dryer - great for storing bikes/washing off muddy boots or diving gear. A short drive to beautiful blue flag beaches and a great base for exploring Anglesey.
I only bought the house this year and it is a project so some areas (like the utility room and bathroom) are brilliant and others are a work in progress. But it is comfortable clean and the kitchen is well-equipped (feel free to use salt/pepper/spices and just replace if they've run out, or let me know). Hopefully you will feel welcome and relaxed. There's a piano if you play, a pile of books to read, local maps to borrow and beach stuff (folding chairs/buckets and spades).
Holyhead is a small port town with a retail park on the outskirts and a high street that has benefited from some regeneration over the last few years and offers shops, pubs, a cinema and a couple of decent restaurants). The harbour has a commercial port but also a sailing club and beach. A short drive or a medium walk (2 miles) away are the blue flag beaches of Treaddur bay (which has several nice places to eat) and Porth Dafarch, South Stack Lighthouse, the Ranges SSSI, Breakwater Country Park, Penrhos Park with it's red squirrels and Holyhead Mountain, Gogarth and North Stack cliffs all of which offer great climbing and bouldering opportunities.
  • Great room, warm and comfortable. Good base for exploring the island! Becca was really friendly and her home was lovely to be in. We will stay again!

  • My stay at this beautiful house was cozy and comfortable. There is nearly everything you could need in a good quality and a lot of the products in the house are eco-friendly. Becca is a very caring host and made sure I could relax in the middle of a long journey. The bunk bed was comfortable as well and I slept like a log.

    Friederike2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Becca's place is really well situated for travel in the region and adventures in North Wales. It close to the sea port, railway station and the A55 expressway. The house is welcoming and quiet with really nice, simple facilities. There are abundant local supermarkets and wonderful walking is available across the area. The cycling opportunities are great too. It is good value and Becca is kind and welcoming. Highly recommended for visits to Wales!

Pentre Pella is a traditional Quarryman's cottage situated in Holyhead Mountain Village -a peaceful hamlet in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Just a stone's throw from the cottage are the well maintained walking paths that wind up to the summit of the mountain, as well as South Stack,North Stack the Breakwater Park and beyond via the Anglesey Coastal Path. A perfect base all year round for peaceful walking holidays, climbing trips or mountain biking in breathtaking scenery.
The cottage has a comfy living room with a log burner, a pleasant county kitchen with all mod cons -and a conservatory/ dining room overlooking a good sized garden. There is room for a small to medium sized car outside the property- and communal parking just around the corner. Well behaved dogs are more than welcome!
The mountain village is beautiful and quiet, but not too far from Holyhead's supermarkets, cinema and cafes. For foodies there are several great restaurants within 15 minutes drive of the cottage. Our favorites are Catch 22 in Valley, The White Eagle in Rhoscolyn and The Harbourfront Bistro on Newry Beach.
  • Beautiful cottage located in a quiet location of Holyhead. Very stylish space, lovely touches and very accommodating host. Would definitely recommend staying here and will return in the future.

  • An idyllic location for a beautiful cottage! Real homely feel and fantastic hosts, thanks for a great break away.

    Louise2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Superb host and lovely, homely cottage. We had a great weekend and will certainly come back to enjoy some more of the mountain walks from the front door. Close enough to Holyhead to have the convenience of shops but felt remote and with a great view only a short walk up the lane. Lovely wood burner and lounge - great for a cosy afternoon in - and the rooms were really well furnished and decorated. Highly recommend.

  • Lovely cottage with everything you need for a home from home. Great location with walks from the door. The host is very responsive and checking in and out was very straightforward.

  • Lovely cottage on Mountain - providing amazing walks just out of the door! A 15 minute drive to anywhere on Holy Island, making our stay thoroughly enjoyable as we explored everywhere we'd planned to during our stay. Electric heaters in the bedrooms and the fire in the living room kept us cosy in the cold weather. This place really had everything we could have needed for our short stay! Beautiful paintings of the local area all for sale in the hallway - we couldn't resist. Would definitely recommend for a weekend away!

  • Wonderful cottage, definitely coming back!

    Duane2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this gorgeous cottage and didn’t want to leave! Set in a lovely location with stunning views but still close enough to shops etc Stone throw away from heaps of different walking trails including up the Holyhead mountain and to south stack. The cottage had everything you needed including high chair and cot for the baby. It was very clean and well looked after. We will definitely be back!

    Sian2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great hosts .. you will not be disappointed with this fabulous cottage in a nice quiet location and it really has got everything you could possibly need from a nice garden, washing machine, dishwasher to comfy beds, TV & great Wifi. It was nice to get back in the evening and relax by the log burner with that bottle of wine, excellent.

  • Tristan and Debi were fantastic hosts and I couldn't have wished for a better place to stay in Holyhead. It's about a ten minute walk to the ferry port and the train station, so it was a perfect location for me, as I was travelling without car. I would book here again anytime!

    Katja2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • This home was the perfect stop over for catching the Ferry out of Holyhead. It's just a short walk to the port and to local pubs and restaurants. I would stay here again and recommend it to anyone of my friends!

  • Thank you for your hospitality. A Lovely house and room. Great communication and easy going. A nice personal touch to the room, with lots of little extras. Definitely recommend staying with Tristan

    William2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • We booked a night at Tristan's place because we just needed a place to crash before renting a car the following day. We were pleasantly surprised with incredible hospitality in a beautiful home, to the point where we almost regretted staying for just one night. The family was super friendly but also gave us plenty of privacy. A great spot!

    Magicsofa2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • I only stayed one night at Tristan and Debi's place (I was doing the Anglesey 10k trail race so came up the night before the race) but that was sufficient to learn that they are amazing hosts! The room was gorgeous, super comfy bed, LOTS of snacks, breakfast, huge selection of teas, etc. Super friendly hosts, very flexible with checking in / out times. They even suggested I come back after I checked out / finished my race to have a hot bath, which was very much appreciated and needed. I couldn't recommend them more. I'll definitely come back again! Thank you Tristan and Debi ❤️

    Maria2020-01-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is by far the best Airbnb I've stayed in. Tristan and Debi are incredibly generous people and made me feel so welcome. The ideal stop over for those taking the ferry. The room itself is beautifully decorated with a really comfortable bed and all the items you could possibly need for your stay. 10/10 would recommend staying here

  • Our stay with Gweeno (and especially her father Arun) was absolutely amazing. We are on a 2 month journey through Europe, and we are so grateful for having such a wonderful and gracious host! We usually walk from the train station to our accommodations, but Arun picked us up and dropped us off. Arun even gave us a tour of the county by car our first night of arrival. We definitely saw sights we would have missed if it wasn’t for Arun. We took the ferry to Dublin for the day, coming back after midnight. Arun was waiting for us as we arrived and drove us to his home so we would not have to walk. The room and bathroom were amazing. Best shower ever! The bed was VERY comfortable! The snacks were an unexpected surprise! We also had access to the elegant dining area and living room with a Piano. Bringing my music just in case was well worth the extra weight! The location was fantastic - close to the coastal walk, eating establishments and shops. Arun was so amazing that he even guided us where to go. Meeting Arun, and our end of the day conversations was definitely one of the highlights of our visit to Holyhead, and we give them our highest recommendation without hesitation. We will definitively be back and would not want to stay anywhere else. We not only had a great stay, we made a new friend...

The kitchen looks new and I don't think it ever been used for heavy dinner cooking. It was a nice surprise that my favourite breakfast bars were provided as complimentary. Really nice and comfy bed with soft pillows and duvet! Great shower with temperature regulator.

  • My one night stay at the Haven was very comfortable. Phil and Sian were very helpful with directions, they were there to check me in and take my breakfast order, and let me keep my bags in the front after I had checked out. They are very friendly people! The guesthouse itself is small but rooms have ensuite, modern and clean bathrooms, TV with a Netflix connection, and a kettle for tea/coffee. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a choice between the continental, or you can pay to have a heartier meal! The location is within easy walking distance to groceries, restaurants, the harbour, and several parks. I loved walking up to the Breakwater Country Park- very neat. All in all, I would definitely stay here again!

  • The room was very comfortable and had all I wanted. The shower had good pressure and it was great having a private bathroom. There’s a television with Netflix in the single. The breakfast was excellent, with many options. I had the continental for £5. It included cereal, English muffins, tea, and other options. Sweet little dining room. I took a long walk along the sea; it was lovely. The town of Holyhead is a beauty. I had a great lunch at the Beach House next door. Phil was an excellent, congenial host who seemed genuinely interested in making my stay a good one.

  • Gwenno's home was beautiful and spotless, but it was really the hospitality of herself and her parents who showed me around Holyhead and taught me a lot of local history that made my stay here great.

  • Super clean, comfy bed, fluffy big towels, good quality bed linen and very tastefully decorated. Lots of lovely extra touches, like hair straighteners, juice & fruit. • I have to recommend this house for all those who want to come Holyhead for holiday. This family are really enthusiastic and kind, they pick us up at the ststion by a wonderful car. Then brought us to look around of the whole island by car driving and make some introduction. Of course, the room is also really good and tidy. It just feel like you have rented the whole house when you living there. What I have seen were much better than the pictures they have showed on the website. They help us a lot and we really enjoyed a great trip these days.

  • Chris's place was a great place to stay in Holyhead! We didn't have a car with us but everything we needed was within walking distance, and it's quite close to natural park areas and the South Stack Lighthouse. The bungalow was really easy to access, and it was all warm and cosy ready for when we arrived, which was lovely! The bungalow was very clean and had everything we needed during our stay. We were given a lot of information by Chris about how to access the property, as well as leaflets telling us about things to do in the local area which were both really helpful. It was a lovely place to stay and I'd definitely stay here again!

Trearddur Bay was rated as the number place to enjoy an Easter break in North Wales, which reflects the fantastic restaurants, bars, beaches, rocky coves, and watersport opportunities. Holyhead is just a couple of miles down the road, where there are ample amenities, such as a large shopping area with 24 hour supermarkets at Penrhos retail park. The transport links include trains back to mainland Wales and Chester, and you can hop on the day ferry to Dublin too. However, when you're in Trearddur Bay itself, you'll feel a million miles from any hustle and bustle!
  • Fabulous apartment overlooking the sea. Well furnished and kitted out. Stayed for new year. Warm and very comfortable. Great location.

  • We enjoyed our stay here at this comfy 2 bedroom apartment in Trearddur Bay. The apartment was clean and tidy and it's ideally located to explore Anglesey.Sarah was a great host and answered any questions quickly.

    Phil2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is fully in line with expectations. We used the kitchen and the ingredients purchased in the big supermarket near the train station. They ate well and slept well. The wifi usage was also very good. It is recommended that guests bring some coins because the electricity box is overused and requires money. Started (we used a lot). The scenery at Holyhead is very good! Be sure to go to the stack lighthouse, walk from the lighthouse back to your residence for about an hour and a half, the highway scenery is beautiful, the town can call taxi, stop a car and ask the main station number to make an appointment.

  • The view from the flat is really special. You see the light on the sea changing with the different weathers. We sat watching it for ages, very relaxing. The living room is a good deal bigger than it appears from the photos. A lovely light spacious room. The flat was very clean and well equipped, and it’s very conveniently located for walking into the centre of Treaddur Bay and for visiting other places on the island. Do go to The Black Seal in Treaddur Bay. Very good food. Sarah was friendly and helpful. She responded very quickly to a couple of queries we had, so we could sort things quickly and easily. Just what you need. We had a lovely time and the flat provided a comfortable and welcoming base.

    Wendy2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had never booked via Air B&B before and we were not disappointed. Sarah's flat really is a home from home and has everything needed for a lovely stay on Anglesey. Thanks for the thoughtful touches such as fresh milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. Easy, straightforward and helpful communication, loads of info in the flat regarding things to do/ places to visit and a toy box/loads of games for kids. The location was spot on for the beach and the view is tremendous even on a stormy day. All at a great price many thanks.

  • Delightful light , airy cosy flat in a rural setting and very near beaches and the Wales Coast Walk. Bea is a great host and left tasty treats and wine for us.

    Vanessa2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautiful. Bea Is just absolutely lovely. Bea left little treats and gifts about the accommodation including fresh eggs from her farm and we got a little cuddle from Woody the dog and the pony. The outdoor hot tub is well worth the money and the views are magnificent. The accommodation is second to none and we will be back

    Michelle2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Bea was a very thoughtful host with leaving us some basics to help us get going with cooking and having the hot tub ready for us even though the wind was howling. Her property is a beautiful hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone looking for a restful weekend/week away. This property was nice and cosy in the horrible stormy weather but would also be amazing for a weekend away in the sun!

    Elizabeth2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bea’s Retreat was exactly what we needed! A beautiful getaway to recharge our batteries. Bea was very sweet to meet us when we arrived and showed us around the space. She even gifted us with fresh eggs, milk, wine, and chocolates! It’s in a great location in Anglesey! Very quick to drive to several places, but was always nice to have peace and quiet when we returned! And the hot tub was amazing! We had absolute clear skies the evening we stayed and were able to enjoy some star gazing while in the hot tub. Bea was even kind enough to warm up the hot tub for us for when we returned from dinner! How kind! We hope to come back and enjoy another stay at Bea’s Retreat! It’s a gem of an Airbnb! Highly recommend! Thanks, Bea!

    Amanda2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Bea welcomed us to her beautiful property, and left us some thoughtful treats like fresh milk and eggs, chocolates, a bottle of champagne, and flowers - which really added to our valentine’s day. We used the hot tub at night on our first day and the stars were beautiful, it was perfect. The home itself is so stylish and cosy, we loved the balcony and the bed was so comfy! Bea even picked us up some takeout on the second night whilst she was in town, she was so accommodating and lovely! Flamingo the horse was adorable and Woody the dog was the cutest. On our last day we took a short walk to one of the beaches, and despite storm dennis, the sights were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for making mine and my boyfriends valentine’s weekend so special, we loved our stay and would recommend to all!

    Eliza2020-02-16T00:00:00Z

  • Fun, different experience. Jill is a great and helpful host (especially for those of us a bit incompetent with keeping fires going). Stove keeps the yurt really warm even in the worst storms. Homemade biscuits delicious too.

  • A brilliant host and a fantastic place to stay. Had everything we could possibly need

    Angharad2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • On the very night that storm Dennis ravaged the area Jills Mongolian yurt stood up to all he gave. And we inside were cozy, warm and loving the extra touches that come with the yurt. I am, a self proclaimed Airbnb snob. I find a place, google it, look at the reviews and then take a while to deliberate whether it’s worth a shot. I wasn’t sure about the yurt but the reviews were excellent and so thought we’d give it a punt. Jill was on point answering messages and was able to quell my fears that the yurt was going to be tested badly by Dennis. In fact when we arrived my hair was perpendicular to my head and everything we ran to the yurt with got a drenching. After settling we weren’t looking forward to the bog-run, however given it was all of 5 strides away and immaculately kept it wasn’t an issue at all. The yurt itself has an aroma that although not unpleasant, does take a second to acclimatise to but the amazing log burning stove puts play to it but filling the room with the heady sent of embers. We didn’t expect much sleep given the storm but a good 10 hours was got due to the comfy bed and linen. We woke to a fridge full of goodies and beverages galore. Don’t hesitate, book the yurt, expect a view to die for, an epic sleep and hospitality beyond.

  • What a amazing time me and my friend had in Jill’s yurt. We got a little lost getting to Jill , so she came out and got us. From the moment with arrived jill made us feel at home. The yurt is so lovely inside and out with everything you need. Because the weather was really bad the electricity sometimes went out but Jill made sure we had candles but to be honest we loved it and it made our stay more fun. We were able to cook a Thai curry with all the cooking equipment available and with all the little extras like the wine n chocolates n breakfast stuff that was already in the yurt that Jill had waiting for us , we had a more than what we needed . The log fire was amazing n kept us warm all the time we were there oh and the bed is amazingly comfortable I’m actually ordering the mattress off amazon. The storm was bad but being in the yurt you wouldn’t think there was one going on as the yurt is that sturdy but hearing it from inside was very soothing We both had the best time and can’t wait to come again Thanks Jill 😘

  • Jill was an excellent host with great communication, quick responses and a caring, helpful nature. The yuke was peaceful and quirky with everything we needed for our stay. The bathroom was spacious, clean and equipped with hot water and other bits such as shampoo, soap and towels. The area was peaceful and the yuke was clean, warm and very cosy. The bed was extremely comfy and the yuke was well equipped with everything needed (kettle, fridge, toaster, microwave) We enjoyed the lovely log burner and were lovely and warm all night (january 2020) We would highly recommend this to our friends and family. A very special and unique experience ❤

  • We had a wonderful stay at Dolphin. Brilliant location - a few miles from the big supermarkets and a 10-15minute walk to the beach, a little shop, playground and restaurants. Everything we wanted to do on Holyhead was so quiet k to get to - coastal walks, beaches, lighthouses etc. The kids loved the space in the house and it was beautifully clean. We would definitely stay again.

  • We have just returned from our stay at Dolphin. The house was exactly as described and was beautifully clean. We were a group of four adults and four children and there was plenty of space for us all. Mike had provided a welcome package which was very thoughtful. The house is a 5-10 minute walk down to the beachfront at Treaddur Bay and provided a fantastic base for us to explore. Mike responded quickly to all messages and was a great host. I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing stay on Anglesey!

And second to none for value for money. Communication with the owner was prompt and helpful. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

  • A hidden gem! Alun was so welcoming when we arrived, the room itself is beautiful and so much bigger than on the photos. Also a fab selection of tea/coffee/snacks in the room. The room/whole house was absolutely spotless and there was facilities for if you’d like to get a takeaway or use the lounge. The whole house was very relaxing, and Alun was so kind to drop us into town for our meal out and told us some tips and info about Holyhead. Absolutely fabulous stay and lovely people! Would definitely stay again thank you!!!

We had a great night sleep which was essential for running! Everyone who worked there was incredibly friendly and helpful and we were even given a good luck message for our race. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Myself and my boyfriend came away for a last minute escape from the reality of work...and what a bolt hole we found! A fantastic gem of an apartment. We arrived in the dark and so I wasn’t prepared for such a fantastic view when we woke up. The apartment is much larger than the photographs give credit for. During our stay we had sunshine, gale force winds, snow, hail and rain...and the apartment was perfect for all conditions. I am a bit of wimp when it comes to cold weather and I will say that the apartment was lovely and toasty warm. The kitchen is well equipped...with everything that we needed. Great place...great location...we will be back!

  • What can I say other than this was our favourite ever Air bnb experience ! There was so much attention to detail, so many nice touches, and so much character that we didn’t want to leave. We fell in love with Trearddur Bay and we will definitely be back! David and Rich were quick to respond to my queries and so nice to converse with. Thanks so much to you both, the whole experience has been an absolute pleasure and we’ve made wonderful family memories in your seaside oasis :)

  • This apartment is perfect , every little detail has been thought about. It is very stylish and comfortable and David and Rich are excellent hosts.

    Jane2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend Dave and Rich's apartment. We had a wonderful stay here. The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well decorated and has the most amazing view of the sea and mountains. We were very comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and the lounge was cosy and comfortable (and more spacious than the photos suggest). The communal garden is such a bonus for sitting out and enjoying the views. Whilst we spent more time enjoying the views, the smart TV set-up was great too with lots of viewing options. Also, I would add that Dave and Rich were brilliant hosts who generously shared a great place, were brilliant comminicators and made us feel very welcome. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment very highly indeed and we hope to return soon.

  • Another lovely stay: glorious view, comfort, the easy access to the bays and the walk into the village, the warmth of that sitting room with the sun pouring in, the glittering (and this week raging) sea and long views, great communications with Maria, fine Welshcakes. It's a wonderful island, though I'm biased. I should think we'll be back!

  • What a fantastic place this is! It is very well equipped, comfortably furnished and the views from the front window are brilliant. We spent ages just watching the rough sea and the waves crashing in (It was February!). We hope to be back again before long.

  • Fantastic communication from Maria from start of booking right through to the end. Her apartment exceeded all expectations and the views far outweigh any of the previous accommodations we have stayed in the bae even of properties far more expensive. Warm and welcoming.

    Penny2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was pretty much perfect - the view breathtaking, and the walk to glorious Trearddur Bay only about ten minutes, a bit longer if you wanted to take in a couple of headlands and wild seas as you went in. The Black Seal a superb restaurant, relaxed and friendly with it, and in a stunning setting. Bring buckets and spades for sandcastles if you've got little ones (though there are good beach bits and pieces in the apartment) - there are streams to channel on the beach, all restored to a pristine state by the high tide. Maria's communication was just fine. We'd come back!

Rallt Farm is a former working farm in the Isle of Anglesey Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Conveniently located for the area’s popular beaches and the coastal resorts of Trearddur bay and Rhosneigr, with footpath access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. It’s easy to get to, a great base for watersports, walking, cycling or just relaxing.
The annexe adjoins the farmhouse and provides comfortable accommodation comprising a bedroom with double bed and en-suite upstairs and a spacious living downstairs. The living area has a sofa which can be used as a double bed and a basic kitchen with hobs, microwave and fridge freezer. There is no downstairs sink. A large TV with Freesat and a selection of DVDs. Books and board games. Outside there is access to secure storage for bikes and equipment in the stables opposite and use of the property’s large garden.
Located in a rural setting on a lane which leads to the village of Valley. The village has plenty of amenities including a couple of convenience stores, two pubs, the renowned Enoch’s Fish and Chips, and the excellent Catch 22 bistro. Close to popular beach resorts.
  • Great stay at Mandy and John’s home. Good communication and available early check-in on our arrival day. The weather was unfortunately dreadful but we felt very cosy inside their home. The home is stylish, clean, tidy with kind touches such as children’s toys and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival. Thank you both for a lovely break x

  • Perfect location for travelling around the island. Spotlessly clean and spacious. Very comfortable and so peaceful & quiet. Lovely place to chill. My fault , but I did not pick up on the fact that there is no sink downstairs . It certainly didn't spoil it for us . We had a great week visiting all the wonderful bays on the island and some National Trust properties too. Can't wait to go back . What a special place to live. Thank you to Mandy & John for their hospitality.

  • Mandy’s and John’s place has appeared to be a perfect for our family for a longer weekend. We have travelled with a toddler so appreciated toys, books and DVDs age appropriate (although there were also available games, books, DVDs, PS3 for older ), high chair was provided (although no needed) etc. The kitchen unit is well equipped with extra salt/pepper/oil/coffee/tea/sugar for guests convenience. We have really appreciated this. There is also an iron and electric hob, rarely seen in other properties. There is a spacious lounge and bedroom which allowed our travel cot to fit in easily. It’s located in a quiet and rural area. Mandy was very welcoming (we have not had a chance to meet John) and offered my little one to use their trampoline in the back garden (although we did not have a chance to use it as focused on sightseeing). We would recommend Mandy’s and John’s place definitely and would like to come back here again :).

  • Good value, friendly and helpful hosts, stylish and clean little house. Perfect for us and our toddler. We walked to the local beach and it’s also in easy reach of Rhosneigr, Trearddur Bay and Rhoscolyn. Food at Catch 22 was great and very toddler friendly with colouring crayons and complimentary carrot sticks and cucumber to help prevent hunger/boredom tantrums
