  • Cozy place in a pretty area close to scenic Lancaster. Adrianna is an A+ host and her policies are super clear and she is very responsive without being intrusive in the least. Would highly reccomend

    Christopher2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • Would stay again. Clean & quiet!

    Melanie2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • A very comfortable space to stay. The bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. For some reason my Apple map on my phone did not direct me to the correct address on the street, but the mailbox was clearly marked so I was easily able to located it by the actual address. I would definitely rebook this space if I am in the area again.

    Lori2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Adrianna’s place was perfect for mine and my husbands little getaway. The place can be a tad cold at night so bring some slippers and a robe. She does state that though she has a Nest you can control, it can take time for the place to heat up. But it does heat good! Just be patient. Adrianna was very communicative if we needed anything at all and the place was spotless. Thanks for a great stay!

    Allana2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Very good experience.

    Wanda2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was the cleanest place, excellent parking, quiet and comfortable. Excellent experience all the way around. Adrianna was great to work with and very responsive.

    Scott2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Adrianna and her husband were so helpful and welcoming. She offered tips for local eateries and activities, and offered numerous times to help in any way. The apartment was larger than I expected, bright, and supplied with all the neccesities. Based on reviews, I expected it to be anazing and it exceeded my expectations. Check in/out was easy and Adrianna communicated everything clearly. The apartment is fully accessible for anyone who is mobility impaired. Parking was right outside the door, and the snow which fell during our stay was completely removed. I highly recommend Adrianna's apartment. It is exactly as advertised .

    Laura2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing place to stay - far enough away from things that you feel like your truly on vacation, but a surprisingly quick drive to find things to do and places to eat! Adrianna and Abe were super friendly and accomadating, and this is hands down my husband and mine's favorite vacation so far! The reccommendations for Amish country and local places to check out were spot on! The bed was very soft and cushy (perfect for my husband! Though i like a bit more firm ;) ) and the kitchen was perfect for not having to eat every meal out. Highly reccommend if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle!

  • Such a lovely space full of character. If you like a place that embraces its age gracefully so, then you’ll love this quaint little space with its super comfy bed! It is in a perfect location for the nearby towns that offer touristy type activities for those interested in learning about the Amish community. Waking up to the sounds of a horse galloping along the road, it also offers a country setting for venturing out and taking in the nearby beautiful landscape. Michelle offers all the creature comforts for starting off your day with a stocked area of teas, coffee, water, and quick breakfast foods.

    Jenny2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely time! I'm glad we didn't need it, but I appreciated having the host available if anything came up. The area of the home where we stayed was very charming and I wasnt pleasantly surprised by how warm it was during the winter even though it's such an old house.

    Jessica2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • All was as expected. Michelle was welcoming and accommodating. The room had a separate entrance so we were able to get back after an evening out without disturbing anyone. We also throughly enjoyed the area around Lancaster during our visit.

    Dave2020-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute and comfortable! We absolutely loved the hosts and they were so helpful and accomodating. Great value and beautiful location.

    Tammy2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • If you love older homes, you will love staying here. It is a charming suite. Sparkling clean, great hosts, all of the conveniences you could need. Great place in the middle of farm country. I heard the clip-clop of the Amish buggies, and loved the location. I would recommend this place highly and I am sure that I will go back for another visit.

    Jackie2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing little place in a very nice area. Close enough to the city and far enough to hear the roosters. I would highly recommend this place for a single or couple visiting Lancaster.

Relax in the heart of Lancaster County Pa in our Airbnb, "Inn the Barn". The barn was built on the 1800 and still stands strong to this day. Completely renovated but still hold its country charm. Just minutes from downtown Lancaster and surrounding shoppes and businesses. Tour the Amish community for fresh baked goods! Antique shops galore. Plenty of activities for everyone.
  • Place for relaxing, different environment in antique house. Price is very good.

    Md2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Patricia was an outstanding host. You will not be disappointed with this country setting. We loved everything about our stay.

    Bob2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of the most unique places we’ve stayed so far. The Barn was clean, well-kept, and had great decor. Patricia was a great host who maintained great communication. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

    Paul2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Patricia's place for one night on our way from Toronto to Baltimore. Her place is amazing! I am 7 months pregnant and loved coming back there after a long day and relaxing on the lazy boy. I also wake up way earlier than my partner.. it is incredibly spacious so I could go and relax downstairs while he slept in. It felt like we were in a cute private cottage in the woods!

    Sarah2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • The coziest and convenient place to stay near Lancaster! The loft upstairs is a cozy dream. Patricia had extra blankets and pillows everywhere and it was lovely to watch a movie on the reclining couch! Patricia's antiques ads that little country touch and you can tell she took time arranging everything just so. Like staying a Country Home magazine spread! Highly recommend. Will be back again anytime I'm in the area.

    Carissa2020-02-23T00:00:00Z

    Erica2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a charming and cozy place to stay. It's beautifully decorated with countless antiques and we were made to feel very welcome. We were attending a concert in the city of Lancaster and were delighted to find it was only a ten minute drive to the venue. Beautiful place, thank you Patricia

  • Judy and Paul's Cottage was the perfect spot for a weekend away. The pictures/description are spot on. They keep the cottage sparkling clean and the kitchen stocked, including local Lancaster treats (Wilbur buds are one of my favorites!). I was able to both relax and get some things done during my time in Conestoga. Judy and Paul are wonderful, attentive hosts who made sure I had everything I needed. I'm looking forward to coming back!

  • The house was accommodating for 15 of us and the kitchen was perfect for all our cooking. Get weekend stay for those looking for farm country views.

    Jp2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at the Lapp farmhouse. Aaron and his family were great hosts and provided us with breakfast and some wonderful fresh produce. There was lots of space for our group (11) and it was a great lication for exploring the area

    Dan2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The house is perfect. My family and I are planning a big event later in the year. I went to Quarryville, by myself to check out the house. Michelle gave me a special one night rate. The home is delightful. It is clean, staged perfectly, has comfortable beds — beautiful views from all the windows. Michelle was amicable and helpful. We will definitely book for our gathering.

    Tom2019-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • The house was immaculately clean which is always worrisome with Airbnb. The Lapp kids were amazing, especially the one that was put in charge of us - what a sweetheart of a boy. We fed their horses twice a day and got delicious vegetables from their garden. The house is very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking to spend a few days in the area.

    Hili2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were a total of 9 adults, 5 children under age 10, and 2 teenage girls. We were very happy with the stay although those who slept in the living room area were a little cold. Everything was clean and orderly and eggs and bacon were in the refrigerator for us to use for breakfast along with home-made bread. It was nice that the Lapp family was available across the street for any requests. The family was super friendly and gave us a tour of their farm which was a highlight for us, especially the kids. We would definitely stay there again, perhaps take advantage of the huge deck during warmer weather. 5 stars!

We're also just a 25 min. drive to the town of Strasburg with the Sight & Sound Theater and Strasburg Rail Road.
This is an authentic Amish home. It's not connected to the electrical grid. However there is plenty of light provided by the cordless battery operated lights in each room. You can even charge your phones by pluging into a battery pack. The refrigerator & stove run on propane gas. This is a split level home with about 6 steps leading up to the main floor with 3 bedrooms and a bathroom, plus kitchen & living room. Anotheror 6 steps lead down to the other sitting area and half bathroom. Some provisions for a self-serve breakfast are provided. Enjoy the farm fresh eggs & milk in the fridge!
  • Eli and Mary were kind, considerate, and gracious hosts. Their home is clean and in the middle of a very quiet part of the country where light pollution is at a low and you can see so many more stars than we can in the city. Despite the rural farm setting it was dark and amazingly quiet at night. Thank you for your kindness and generosity!

  • You will not be disappointed in staying at Kara and Dustin’s. We have stayed at several Airbnb homes, but Kara’s is the only one we have returned to. In fact, this was our 3rd time to her home. It feels like coming home each year. It was cold out so being able to have a fire in the fireplace was so comforting and relaxing! We hope to keep this tradition going. Thank you Kara and Dustin for always making our stay so wonderful !!

    Emily2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit to Kara's place and it was just as relaxing the second time around! Very clean, comfortable beds and couch, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking! I will definitely be back. Thank you!

    Erin2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • This rental is very lovely and cozy. The beds were super comfy and the home was very clean. There were a lot of amenities just in case we left anything. The area was remote and very peaceful. Just a fun drive through the twisty roads to get to Lancaster and all the sights. The hot tub was very nice and we had a nice relaxing time in it.

    Jennifer2019-11-17T00:00:00Z

    Kelly2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • Karas place is absolute perfection. We felt like it was even better than what was described. It was cozy, comfortable, quiet and romantic. There was plenty of space. Oh and knowing that we were there for a quiet romantic weekend away we never even saw or heard our hosts but we had every bit of contact information needed for the just in case. Everything you needed beyond ones own groceries was provided. One couldnt have asked for a cleaner or more friendly, inviting place to stay. There are a lot of little nice thoughtful touches in addition to an absolutely perfect apartment that made our stay more pleasurable. They compiled a nice listing of things to do around town with descriptions and directions to each of those things. I wish we could have stayed there for more than the weekend. Next time!

    Radomir2019-10-06T00:00:00Z

  • An absolutely lovely and spacious apartment, but you are over a funeral home, so do your best to not let your imagination get the best of you that first night. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

  • This was a great stay for us. Close enough to Lancaster that we could do what we needed to do and far enough away so we could avoid the traffic and enjoy peace and quiet. Very relaxing atmosphere. I will look for this place in the future as I frequent this area.

  • This property offers a large space and I feel it is a huge value. A few funky things, which may be remedied by the time you stay there. 1.) the lovely walk-in shower does not have a soap dish attached to the wall, so there is nowhere to put your soap except the floor! 2.) The hot water takes about 3-5 minutes to reach the apartment, and the sink in the bathroom has almost no pressure. 3.) I stayed there for a total of 4 day. I mentioned that the TV got only a few stations, even though it was hooked up to Xfinity. The host said she would look into it, but it never got resolved. I will say that there is very fast internet that I enjoyed. I ended up watching TV on my iPad Xfinity app. Overall, a very good experience and the criticisms are minor.

  • It was a great stay, convenient location, and spacious apartment !

    Luiza2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely love the apartment that I stayed at. I am a huge fan of older style houses and hard wood floors. Everything was clean and neat and had a full kitchen with all the utensils need to cook just like at home. The living room is very large and is a very relaxing space. The area is very quite and a relaxing and I had no issues sleeping even though I deal with insomnia. Check in was very straight forward and easy. I am denfinetly looking forward to staying here again when I go back out to visit. Highly recommend this place!

  • Very clean, quiet, spacious living area, with a big kitchen, big bathroom, beautiful hardwood floors, located near many attractions and restaurants. I would highly recommend this location to any couple looking to have a nice affordable weekend away from the hustle and bustle of any kind of busy lifestyle.

We have a three story A-frame in a small forest in southern Lancaster County. You get the entire downstairs area which has a separate entrance, private bathroom, sitting area, bedroom, and limited kitchen (refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and coffee/tea kettle). The surrounding area is rural, peaceful and quiet. Lancaster City is 15 miles to the north, Philadelphia 60 miles to the east, and Baltimore 60 miles to the south. Please read the Disclaimer below BEFORE you book.
We are renting a small suite. There is a separate sitting area with a propane fireplace*, and a unique private bath (look at the pictures). The space is on the lower level. It faces out to a patio and forest which you can see from inside through the glass doors. DISCLAIMER -- PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK -- (1) Because we are in a small forest in southern Lancaster County, there is almost no TV, just one channel; (2) The wifi is a bit slow, approx 3.1 mbps; (3) There is no cooking in the room or use of any kitchen facilities in the main house; there is a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffee/tea kettle, but not a regular range top stove; (4) In the winter the guest area is heated with a coal stove which requires us to shake the ash and add coal two times a day, usually at 7:30 am (sometimes later on weekends) and 6-7 pm when we get home from work; we will take care of this and request (require) that the guests do not make any adjustments to the air flow or other settings on the stove or add any coal themselves; (5) *When the coal stove is operating, you cannot also use the fireplace; both cannot be operating at the same time; (6) Non-Smokers Only. There is no smoking on the property, of any substance. If you smoke this is not an appropriate setting for you; (7) we have a videocam pointed at the driveway; it is outside; there are no recording devices of any kind inside; and (8) If any of the foregoing is not to your liking -- if you want 101 cable TV channels, blazing internet speed, a kitchen in your room, and/or heat but not by a coal stove -- you might want to consider a different Airbnb
We are off the road in a small forest. The surrounding neighborhood is rural and there are several Amish farms close by. It is not unusual to see the fields being tilled by horse drawn equipment (in season), as well as various styles of Amish buggies along the road. If you are interested, we can take you to one of the Amish families just down the road where we buy fresh eggs and other items. Some of our guests have purchased eggs and/or a freshly killed duck (cleaned and feathers removed, of course) from this Amish family.
  • There is no words or scale for this place! It is just perfect for people who seek a little a beauty in the woods. The details of the decorations and the love Marina puts in everything is just beautiful! Airbnb needs more hosts like Marina and her husband. They care a lot and give you outstanding tips for the surrounding. Just lovely . Thanks for everything. Hope to have to chance to meet you once more.

  • If one is going to be both a happy host and a successful one, one needs to enjoy exploring their guests' personalities and tastes to best serve them. Airbnb is fortunate to have many such hosts and hostesses. Marina could be the best. Both the facilities and the hostess have a completely unique charm and openness.

    Frank2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Surely this has been said before, but I cannot help but repeat it: this was by far the best Air BnB stay I have ever had. Whatever expectations I had regarding my stay in Quarrysville were blown away by Marina's (and Robert's) hospitality and kindness. I got home a few days ago and I simply cannot stop gushing about this experience to everyone I know. From the lovely breakfasts and Marina's thoughtfulness (picking one of the last flowers she saw and decorating our tray with it!), to Marina's eagerness to make us feel welcome and at home, this stay was all I could have ever wanted (and more!). I feel bad for the Air BnB's I may stay at in the future: my experience as a guest in Marina's home has ruined me. I don't think I will find any hostess more lovely. I cannot wait to return!

    McKenna2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • What can we say that previous guests have not already raved about and highly praised? It's a wonderful setting in the forest, we love hearing stories from people who travel the world. Marina has visited 56 (gasp!) countries! (This writer has only been to 18 countries. . . and would love to travel more). Marina demonstrates what the word hospitality truly means. She is very gracious and eager to make our experience perfect. She also gave us many hours just to relax in her and Robert's beautiful yard. Everything we could have possibly have wanted or even thought about, or NOT even thought about was provided. (They offered their hammock! I would have never even dreamed of asking for a hammock)! To find someone in our own "back yard" (half an hour from our home) that integrates their many travels into their hospitality in countless ways warmed our hearts all the way through. And the food! Oh, the food! Lovingly cooked, presented with the use of spices and teas gathered from world travels and from the nearby Amish farm - I'm drooling as I write this. The space itself has to be the most unique Airbnb we have ever stayed in, much of it having been constructed very professionally by our hosts themselves. (The bathroom walls are hundreds of flat stones they picked up on their property and created beauty out of). The decor and furnishings are treasures gathered from around the world. Imagine sleeping in a museum. Thank you, Marina and Robert for making our weekend away so special and relaxing.

    Rachel2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Marina is a wonderful host. She showed so much hospitality and I loved the blinchikis. She is very attentive to her guests and such a sweet lady. She goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home.

    Monique2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Marina’s place is beyond amazing! She and her husband were very creative, warming and caring host. They provided breakfast (which I wasn’t expecting) and other amenities that were not even listed on the airbnb! Can’t wait to use my soap!

    Chanelle (Candy)2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • A hostess that goes above and beyond! The place is CLEAN and so interesting since she decorates with items that she has gathered from all the countries she has visited!

Home is blocked 3 days after each booking for thorough disinfecting. Charming country home in small PA town. Within an hour of Baltimore and Philadelphia. Only 1.5 hours from D.C. Come stay in the country and enjoy this small Amish town. House is situated on 2 acres and there is not a neighbor in site. The front porch is the place to be! There are 2 queen size rooms, one is the master, a room with 2 sets of bunk beds, a futon and 2 air mattresses available. Full kitchen and adjoining dining.
House is big and roomy. The front porch is the most comfortable spot. Close to grocery stores, and downtown Delta. Lancaster, Baltimore, Philadelphia and D.C. are not far!
Amish and Mennonite families live close by, so you will see their buggies going up and down the street. Other than that, the neighborhood is pretty quiet.

  • We needed a place to stay ASAP and this cozy Airbnb was able to accommodate us right away! The wood burning fireplace was the most wonderful touch as we were there for the winter and it snowed! This was a perfect home for our family during our stay in Delta. We will keep the home in mind and be back next year

    Trish2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was a last minute trip and Laura responded quickly and accommodatingly. The house is in a quiet rural area about 15 minutes from commercial zones. The indoor fireplace was lovely when we got chilly at the fire pit in the secluded backyard. The house is very spacious and comfortable especially for the price. The self check in allowed us a lot of flexibility and she was very kind with a flexible check out. We loved our quiet getaway and look forward to staying with her again!

  • My family absolutely loved this house. The huge kitchen and dining area was my favorite, as well as the living room full of cozy sofas and chairs. Surrounding farmland is beautiful and the drive was very relaxing. Highly recommend to visit in the fall when there are pumpkin patches everywhere. We had to fly out the next day but I wanted to stay longer! So beautiful here!

Go back in time, to a very unique stone home, built in 1860. This home was formerly the Martic Forge Trolley Station around 1905. It truly is like taking a step back in time, with modern amenities. Enjoy the country, hiking, fishing, biking, rock climbing, rail trail, the Susquehana River, and so much more. The Martic Forge trail head is right at the front of this property. Come see all the beauty of Pequea. Perfect for a peaceful Spring getaway!
Washer, dryer, fridge, gas stove, toaster, coffee, microwave.
The Martic Forge trail head is right out front. You can ride the Colemanville's rail trail, rock climb at Safe Harbor & Chickie's rock, hike, fish, explore the wind cave, Tuquan Glenn, Shenk's Ferry wild flower preserve, Kelly's Run, Pinnacle overlook, House Rock, the Susquehanna river, Turkey Hill rail trail, and eat at The Frogtown Cafe.
  • Tom's place is amazing! Loved the decor and the thoughtful touches. It's extremely clean and well kept, and the house is very quiet. Perfect for a weekend getaway, or it would even make a great place to stay for a creative retreat for a writer or an artist. Tom and Amanda are very kind and quick to respond! 10 out of 10 - HIGHLY recommend!!!

    Caleb2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tom and Amanda's place was sparkling clean, my partner's number one requirement for a successful Airbnb stay. The cabin was even more spacious and beautiful in person. I have to say my favorite thing was how comfortable the main bed was after a full day of hiking the Conestoga trail. I was also very happy to see that the kitchen was well stocked. I made a four course dinner menu for my partner's birthday and found the kitchen had mostly everything I needed other than my ninja and prize zester. We will absolutely be back!

    Ricky2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We could not have asked for anything more. Klarinda and David did an amazing job setting up this home to make you feel super comfortable. From their communication to their thoughtfulness, they both provided an amazing experience. We will sure be staying here again when we come back to Lancaster. Also, the location was great!

    Matt2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • I would highly recommend booking this place to anyone looking to explore Amish country or to even just get out of the city for a bit. It sits on a hill and has a beautiful landscape around the home, it feels secluded but is a close drive to some great attractions (Amish farm tours, restaurants, wineries, etc), and David and Klarinda keep the place immaculate. It’s an extremely cheap price for what you get. I would happily book here again if I ever come back to Lancaster county.

  • All of the added touches that were provided in the guest home made it feel more like home and as if we were friends instead of guests. Who doesn’t love homemade bread, fresh eggs, and whoopie pies (that were to die for)? It truly felt like a home and we could relax. We enjoyed the class on Saturday, as well. This house felt spacious and was extremely clean and well stocked for our stay. It was so nice to not have to bring linens and towels. Candy and Freddie and all the “girls” were friendly and welcoming. Definitely one to keep on my list!

    Melissa2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were super friendly and available for any needs. The area was super homey with small personal touches to give you extra comfort. Everything was very clean. All basic necessities of a home were included such as paper towels, toilet paper, pots and pans and even some seasonings. Minimal shopping required. If there were any complaints, it would be there are two showers and no bath tub, which is negligible. Overall, a great experience!

    Robert2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • This lovely cottage was so much more than I expected. It was absolutely lovely. And the ambassador (Lulu) was awesome. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

  • Candy and Freddie's house is super cute, comfortable, and even had it decorated for Christmas! It had plenty of room for our family. We hope to go back another time.

    Christy2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Not enough good things to say about Candy & Freddie. Truly exceptional people with an awesome space. Next year, we're coming back and bringing the kids!

    Jenn2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • I’ve stayed in quite a few Airbnb’s over the years and my stay at Candy & Freddie’s might have been the best ever. The space was beautiful and homey—with lots of thoughtful touches, like a card for us and a sweet little note wishing us a good day. We had absolutely everything we needed, from toiletries to cooking supplies, to a plethora of TV channels to choose from at the end of the day. Truthfully, I think my boyfriend and I both wish we could just move right in haha! And on top of everything that was already so wonderful about our stay, Candy and Freddie were just the nicest hosts. Candy met me when I checked in to show me around and they brought the piggies (who are cute as can be) out before we left, as they knew we’d been hoping to meet them. They were warm and inviting and felt more like family friends than folks we’d just met a few days before. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about our stay and hope there will be more in our future!

    Lauren2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • You can’t go wrong choosing Pack House Cottage!! From the moment we arrived it was a breath of fresh air for both my sister and I❤️ The house was immaculate, warm and inviting, total perfection! Candy didn’t forget one special touch, they were all there. We were still discovering cute little touches after being there two days...it was just so wonderfully decorated, supplied, and comfy feeling!! We will def make this a regular trip. We so enjoyed the back porch in the evenings, listening to the clip clop of the Amish buggy’s going thru town, and hanging on the dining platform in the morning taking in the sun with our coffee. We had plenty of room to do some crafting, and actually NEVER even turned on the tv!! But we really enjoyed the ‘fireplace’ tv stand for sure! What a fun and lovely home...between the piggies, the chickens, the squirrels, and the birds, we were totally in nature in the middle of the adorable town of Quarryville ❤️🐷🐔☕️☕️❤️ Thanks to Candy and Freddie for their fabulous hospitality!! God bless!! Tina & Lisa

  • The “Sisters Three” loved our stay at the Pack House Cottage! The beautiful cabin is a nature lover's paradise with a babbling brook that offers solace for the body and soul. It is a retreat that will allow you to do social distancing while you feel the presence of God as you relax and take deep breaths! This home has a master bedroom with a queen bed, and a second bedroom with a single trundle bed. This renovated cozy cabin is tucked away in the heart of Lancaster County and is great for couples, solo adventurers, or quiet retreats.
This space is perfect for honeymooners, married couples, weekend getaway/anniversary, small groups and small families. We hope you will be blessed and be able to tune in to the whispers of God during your stay. It boasts a quaint little bathroom (with a claw-foot vintage tub with a detachable shower nozzle) and a stocked custom kitchen designed to resemble the early 1900's! You may expect to very quickly fall in love with the rippling creek that runs through the backyard and with the cozy romantic cabin atmosphere. Neighbors are sparse, and the Lancaster County shopping malls and Amish country are a scenic 30 minute drive away. The cabin is one half hour from where we are located, so you will receive complete instructions on how to unlock the cabin and close it up again. There is a land line phone at the cabin where you may call our number if you have any questions. It is truly a beautiful and unique place to relax and refocus! We expect our guests to treat this house as if it were their own, and to leave it as they found it. The homeowner is not responsible for any accidents, injury or illness that occur while on the premises of this property or its facilities. Sheets and towels are provided.
The neighborhood is quiet and expects to be respected, as in silence after dark. There are Amish neighbors at the end of the road! You will feel like you are in Kentucky or West Virginia because of the conservatory that surrounds it. There are walking trails, and a hiking trail to the Susquehanna River (from River Road to the west), and "The Pinnacle Overlook" that boasts Lancaster County's highest point.
  • This place is just a peaceful beautiful place.

  • One of my favorite places to stay. The second time was as lovely as the first. Thank you!

    Robert2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Adorable cabin in a beautiful wooded area. I wish the tub also had a shower but otherwise it was perfect!

  • We alway come back to this place it's so peaceful

    Sarah2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about Ervin and Martha’s home was wonderful. It’s proximity to local hiking and tranquility along the creek was exactly what we needed from the city. I would highly recommend and look forward to visiting again.

    Robert2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • An amazing little cabin and a perfect spot to rest and recover from the toil of our hectic daily lives. Sitting next to the little stream that runs by the cabin was our absolute favorite part. So peaceful.

    Cody2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • I chose Ervin and Martha’s cabin as a getaway from the city bustle of Philadelphia for my partner and I. With glowing reviews and a well-described space, the cabin was exactly as described and perfect for our purposes. Romantic, cozy, warm, quiet, in short a wonderful place to spend some personal time with a loved one, or a family! I surely think we’ll be back. Thank you!

    Bob2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Secluded, cozy cabin with a lovely fireplace that was the highlight! Not far from Lancaster (about a 30 minute car ride). Not much nearby, so highly recommend bringing food and drink items in advance.

  • What a cute little gem in the countryside! When I first walked in I was so surprised when I saw all the little notes left around the room. Previously I stayed in a different Airbnb and I had a hard time figuring out how to work a couple things so when I rented the muse house it was actually such a relief seeing there was little notes for any question I could have! The place was beautifully decorated and the bathroom was amazing! There’s a cool shower and a jet tub for two! It was such a nice night when we stayed too, so we got to sit outside for a little while and enjoy the full moon and the silence of the country side. There was a little fire pit but we chose not to use it. Check in was very easy. The owners sent us the code before we arrived and never bothered us, not even once! I don’t have anything bad to say about this place honestly. Worth the money.

    Vanessa2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Helpful notes and thoughtful touches! Overall a great stay.

    Marina2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Richard’s guest house was amazing!!! It’s totally private, from the entrance, to the bathroom, and you don’t even need to meet the host. Although, if you want to he would be more than happy to meet you. The area is beautiful, and hidden from the road. I highly recommend staying here!

    George2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful get away! My boyfriend and I had a great time. This host thought of everything we could possibly need and more! They showed they really care about the quality of our stay and we're very accommodating. They left notes on how to work everything. It was better than staying at a hotel. Would recommend this place to anyone. The bathroom was breathtaking. You have to see it to believe it!

Designed to be a quaint farmhouse getaway set in the middle of Amish country. Close to Sight and Sound Theater! Very easy to get to and close to many amenities, attractions, and destinations. This home, since its construction, has been a family gathering place. The doors have always been open to guests, and we want to continue that tradition and welcome you!
In the summertime the PRIVATE pool will be open for you to use! It has undergone an extensive updating which includes automated equipment and salt water rather than harsh chlorine.
  • This home is beautiful! Abigail was such a kind and gracious host. She was extremely responsive with any questions I had, along with any requests. It’s a very warm, and cozy home, and I would stay here time and time again!

  • Everything was as described. The place was clean and welcoming. Loved all the wine decor touches throughout the place. We would love to go back when it's a little warmer so we can enjoy sitting outside and taking in the vineyards scenery.

  • Was disappointed that the roku wasn't there this visit. Couldn't get the TV to work with the antenna. Had to use our computer for netflx.

  • Brenda’s home was everything in the listing and more! The full kitchen was amazing to cook a nice dinner, and the complimentary wine tasting was a wonderful touch. We had so much fun at Allegro and hopefully will be back soon!

  • Communication was awesome in planning the trip. The home was perfect and wonderfully equipped for our visit. The home was comfortable and had beautiful setting.

  • Just a few steps away from Allegro Winery! We were able to enjoy the wine tasting room and in a few short minutes could walk back to the house. Spacious, clean and had just what we needed.

    Denise2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Brenda's was a very peaceful and relaxing get away. The attention to detail in decorating and amenities is incredible. We will be back again.

    Wendy2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • What a little gem! It was just as expected, the place was clean and private. The amenities are plentiful (soap, shampoo, everything you could need/want in the kitchen). The beds are soft and comfy as well as the other furniture, the towels are soft, it's quiet and right next to the winery. We have been to tastings here before, and highly recommend taking advantage of the free tasting included with your stay. Great choice of wines and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The host, Brenda, is very responsive to any questions or concerns that you have. We met the owner, Carl, who is also very responsive and very friendly, and willing to answer questions and explain anything with regard to the vineyard, your stay, or the local area. We were provided with a packet with information for the B&B as well as local places. The view is serene and if you're luck, like we were, you can catch some local wildlife (deer in our case) meandering outside in the morning or evening when you're sitting at the outside table. We also met a sweet cat who was super friendly and hung out while we had evening drinks when we were outside the B&B. Check in/out is a breeze, there's parking for 2 cars, it's right outside the house, and there's anything you could need for a weekend (or even longer) stay. You're far enough away for quiet, but close enough to visit lots of local shops and events. Definitely recommend staying here and enjoying the local scene.

  • So wonderful to experience a Lancaster area farm in this location. What a lovely place. The bathroom felt like an expensive European hotel, to me. I felt privileged to stay in the Deirdra's home.

  • Deidre and Michael were so accommodating and made us feel right at home as soon as we arrived! The home was quaint and charming and all living spaces were incredibly clean and well maintained. We strongly recommend Tannery Run Farm for anyone planning a getaway in the Lancaster area!

  • Such a beautiful home in the beautiful country side !! It’s in the perfect location!! Deidre’s a wonderful host !!

    Kristy And Chris2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Deidre's place is a home away from home. The farm is immaculate, the room spacious and carefully decorated. The views are remarkable and add to the atmosphere of the location.

    Wendy2019-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful and charming with incredible views.

    Anne Marie2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • This was the 3rd time that we’ve stayed at Deidre’s place. Very welcoming, cozy and relaxing.

    Michelle2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • I honestly don't know where to start. We go to the Lancaster County area pretty often. Deidre and her husband Mike are the perfect hosts. They are very knowledgeable about the area and quick to answer any questions we had. Their home, and property, are absolutely beautiful. Clean, comfortable and very well taken care of. The location of the home is pretty much perfect. Well off the beaten path and not in the middle of the city or the tourist traffic. BUT, close enough to both of those to make this the ideal home and family to enjoy your experience in this beautiful part of the country. We can not wait to make this trip again, soon.

    Michael2019-09-02T00:00:00Z

  • I would recommend Spring Haven Farm time and time again. The owner's hospitality was unmatched. It is a beautiful, old farmhouse with all the modern amenities.

    Jennifer2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • This place is nothing short of amazing! Such a beautiful backdrop for a relaxing getaway.

    Emil2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful experience at Spring Haven Farm :) Katelyn met us during checkin and explained us all details which are required during our stay. She left us delicious cinnamon buns, which we enjoyed a lot. The house was built in 1800’s but the way it was maintained, is admirable. It has countryside touch with all modern amenities. My Mom Dad came from India to had a countryside farmhouse experience, and according to them it was best experience they had. The house has all essentials which required for cooking, entertainment(hulu for the perfect family movie night) , extra pillows and blankets to make us warm and cozy. My parents enjoyed making food, playing games, watching movies etc. We felt like home :). I will definitely recommend this to everyone. Thank you Katelyn to let us stay in your amazing house :) If we come again will definitely come and stay to your beautiful house :)

    Nidhi2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Every thing you read in the reviews below multiply that by 100. We had an absolutely lovely three day MLK weekend at Spring Haven. We went sledding, played games, drank hot chocolate, watched movies and football. We even met the sheep! Katelyn and Matt gave us the ultimate gift: rest and rejuvenation. When you drive up to the farmhouse, candles glowing in the windows, you are transported to a simpler time. It is magical. Of course, we are planning our next stay already. Note: Even though it’s an old farmhouse decorated perfectly to fit with character of the house, it also is included every modern amenity. Wi-fi, Amazon fire, electric reclining sofa/chairs.

    Megan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay at the farm. The place was very clean, spacious and Katelyn was great at communicating. Our sons had an awesome time, they even said it felt like home which they’ve never said about an Airbnb before. A pool would be the icing on the cake 😉 Looking forward to visiting again.

    Yeni2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Spring Haven Farm exceeded our expectations in every way! From the well appointed kitchen to the comfy beds, everything about this property was wonderful! Straight out of a Hallmark movie the property couldn’t have been nicer for a weekend getaway with our adult kids. Sparkling clean, great furniture and lots of areas to hang out together or get a little space, this gem is one of a kind. Don’t hesitate to book your trip to Lancaster County and Spring Haven Farm!

    Beth2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • I can tell you what to expect when you get to SpringHaven Farm, but when you get there it will be even better. The photos are beautiful but it’s magical when you get there and it’s like home away from home. Katelyn has done a marvelous job decorating and adding those farmhouse touches to make it extra special. We were even given goodies and treats when we got there and she was very good about explaining everything to us. Coming at Christmas we didn’t know how it would be, but it was the best ever and couldn’t have been better. Thank you Katelyn for your wonderful hospitality and making things just right. Oh and your adorable little sheep were the icing on the cake! It was peaceful beyond what we needed!!!

    Barbara2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying at Spring Haven farmhouse! It was such a beautiful space, very cozy and relaxing. Katelyn has it decorated beautifully for the holidays and has thought of even the little things that mean so much! We hope to visit again!

  • Caroline’s place is very peaceful and everything is tidy and comfortable. Very comfy bed and nice white linens, at least until I showed up after a clay plastering workshop:) Sorry! Make sure if you go to a Sigi Kokos’ class that you use the dark towels. The omelet is to die for and there’s nothing better than a warm pot of Irish breakfast to start my morning off. She has cute little touches throughout the space. The dogs are gentle and unobtrusive, for people not used to dogs. I enjoyed our frequent visits and she took extra care to make sure my needs were met after the class when I was tired and hungry.

    Tami2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline is a gracious hostess, wonderful cook and fabulous baker. Her sweet rolls were delicious! Her home is peaceful and spacious, with a lovely view overlooking the surrounding field and ponds. Recommend Caroline’s place for a weekend getaway.

    Donna2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Caroline was great! Very accommodating and friendly.

    Emily2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • My mom and I ended up being a lot busier during our trip than we anticipated, but Caroline's house provided the best calming space we could've hoped for. It would've been nice to have a bit more free time to enjoy the scenery and the space to just unwind an relax. I'll definitely keep that in mind when scheduling my next trip to the area. Caroline is very kind and there are plenty of engaging conversations to be had! Capella and Quint are also just the sweetest dogs. • This house is located about 10 miles from Sight and Sound, the American Music Theater, shopping and restaurants. It's in a picturesque location and was very clean. Amish Buggies were seen several times, riding by right in front of the house! The house was clean and offered many amenities; coffee, tea, Wi-Fi, books, movies and games. There is a lot of seating for louging and eating. Great location for families, girls or couples get away.

  • David is a great host! He has very quick to answer any questions I had. The rooms are larger than they appear in the photos! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place to stay in Lancaster county.

  • Great living space, awesome location!

    Kim2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • The Brickhouse was beautifully spacious and cozy at the same time! The bedrooms were way bigger than we thought and there were plenty of them! The living room was perfectly laid out for spending time together with the whole group. The icing on the cake would have been to use the fireplace, but there were clear instructions not to. Other than that, David was a gracious host, allowing us to check out later to enjoy one last relaxed afternoon. I would highly recommend his place for larger groups, that want to unplug and enjoy the charm of Lancaster. Would love to return when the coffee shop opens up next door!

The neighborhood is peaceful and there wasn’t any kind of noise. Although the coffee shop wasn’t ready, it looks lovely! Daniel is a great host and his little daughter is such an adorable kid! They helped us with all we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

  • The house is right off the right and easy to find. The neighboring Amish family were wonderful hosts; they did a late-night bonfire for us, provided fresh eggs and milk, and gave a background on their farm and lifestyle. The house accommodated the eight of us. The kitchen is well stocked. There were fresh linens and towels. The bed slept so good, I was in in by 9pm. If you want an excellent peaceful time, this is the place. It is an excellent place for a small gathering like Thanksgiving. The girls played cards on the deck and hide and seek in the yard. The pictures do not show how large the house is. The upstairs heated nicely, but I wasn't able to get downstairs as warm. There is plenty of parking. It is very quiet, so expect to come for a lot of action. A local pizza place does deliver, so you don't have to cook if you don't want to. David answers questions quickly. I would recommend this place and this host.

  • What a great place and what wonderful people Bard and Bob are! I booked the place as a last minute weekend getaway at 10 pm on Wednesday night. By the very next morning I received notification that Barb had accepted my stay and sent me detailed information on how to reach the place, how to get in and any a whole host of other information to make my stay perfect. Barb was in constant communication to ensure I'd reached safely on the day off and checked in again as I left to ensure my stay was wonderful. The place is really cozy and beautiful! It has an old world charm, with and remnants of what it used it be in a time past. It was in the high 20's when we got there and we turned the heaters on to get the place a bit warm and it's probably a testament to the insulation because it got downright toasty within half an hour. If you're there for longer stays, the kitchen is massive! It has plenty of utensils and cookwear to cook a great meal. Barb has also left cute notes all around the house. If you ever have a question on how to do something or turn something on, look two feet to the left or right and there will be a laminated note telling exactly what you need to do to get going. On recommendation of several menus that were left on the table, we went to the speckled hen for our breakfast the next morning. The food was delicious and we got some great honey as well! We'll definitely be back Barb! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

  • This was our second trip up to Brandon and Amanda’s house. To say that our stay was amazing would be an understatement. You need to experience this house for yourself!

    Justin2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I am so incredibly happy we stayed at this cozy home for a winter escape from the city! Amanda and Brandon really went above and beyond for my friends and I this past weekend. We used the grocery service they offer which was a huge timesaver for our large group. Anything you can think of they provided- tea, coffee, s’mores, wood for a fire, fresh eggs from their chickens, baked pastries upon arrival! The attention to detail was lovely and they were available via text for anything we needed during our stay. I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! Perfect for a group of adults or families with children. Stay here you won’t regret it!

    Shannon2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Arriving to this house was one of those feelings that is almost impossible to describe when we pulled up. The home is GORGEOUS! Tucked in the windy hills of Amish country with a beautiful creek flowing nearby. So much room for our three families with 7 kids plus 6 adults! This house took clean to another level! I joked we could sleep on the floor it was so clean! Amanda and Brandon, the hosts who are a Navy family were incredible! They joined us for game night and even spent their New Years with us feasting on steaks and lobster! Fresh eggs from the chickens were delivered, coals were changed, shoo-fly pie brought for all to enjoy! I post this because I want people to experience this amazing home and these kind souls! Brandon and Amanda are our friends now, brought on by an unfortunate previous Airbnb situation at another rental, and I’m so happy for it! Check out their home and go visit them! The House At Climber’s Run I PROMISE you will not be disappointed with the house or the great towns surrounding it!

    Elise2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • We just spent the Thanksgiving holidays at Brandon and Amanda’s place. It was a great gathering place for our family - grandmom, cousins and sisters. We were cozy and comfortable in the mill house. We enjoyed some Amish treats left for us on arrival - including a shoo fly pie! The kitchen was well equipped and complimentary coffee and tea were available. We explored the area each day and then came back to watch Netflix in the lower level den. The beds were very comfortable and the location was peaceful and beautiful. You won’t be disappointed with a stay here.

  • The house was super comfortable and cozy, extra clean, the outside deck and backyard surrounded my the farms are very tranquil with the streams running through the property. The location is great with tons of things to do with the kids, perfect house for a few days to get away and be in nature.

  • We had an amazing time this past weekend at Amanda and Brendon’s lovely home. It’s a gorgeous property, serene and calm! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The hosts were super communicative and took care of our comfort with their million touches :) We will definitely come back!
