  • This place is nice, clean and spacious. It sits on the banks of a beautiful river that you can go tubing on, fishing or just sit in a lawn chair and watch go by.

  • If you’re looking for an up north get away this is the perfect place. Extremely affordable for me and two of my friends and right along the Muskegon River for any of your seasonal fishing trips! The host was very hospitable , quick to respond and gave many tips on the area and fishing as well. 5/5 would come again!

  • A spacious, clean, private place if you're in the area. All the amenities you could want!

  • Great place! As others have said, the pictures were accurate and the natural beauty of the property and area are special. It was a stressful 5 day stay as I was helping my sister declutter her home for sale. It was good to come back to Cody's suite, it's calm green paint color and clutter-free space was just what I needed. I liked having my own entrance, as I didn't disturb anyone with my coming/going. The value was so good, so so much better than a hotel. As I may be in there are again to help my sister, I sure hope Cody's place is available. The natural beauty of the Muskegon River and this property are great. As I was here in February, I didn't really get to enjoy it. I'm more of a warm weather outdoor person than winter. Thanks again, Cody!

  • Cody's "Not Your Mother-in-law's Suite was perfect in every way. I stayed here while in the area for work and it was extremely clean and very open, which I am a fan of. And they made check in super simple! I would recommend this place to anybody.

  • Great place, everyone is so friendly. Would definitely stay again

  • Not your Mother's-in-law suite was so comfortable. Located in a beautiful area and surprisingly private. We will definitely be staying there again!

    Andrea2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a great stay here for a relaxing winter weekend away! My husband LOVED being able walk out the door and be steps away from fishing! They had a great setup inside and streaming services inside for a relaxing movie day. The place was clean, very spacious, and the beds were comfortable. They had nice touches to make us feel very comfortable and help with a few things we forgot. Checkin was easy with details to make it seamless. We met Cody and he was helpful with local recommendations, too! We can’t wait to come back!

Great neighborhood with great neighbors! Quite lake with out all of hustle and bustle of a busy lake! You will be 5 miles from Interstate 31 to take you anywhere along Lake Michigan!
  • We had a lovely and relaxing few days at Kathy's home. Even in winter, the view of the lake and the sunset were beautiful and we loved having the hot tub to warm up in.

    Rolando2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time here. Everything was super clean and we enjoyed our stay very much!

    Emily2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy was one of the best host I've ever had from Airbnb! The house was very clean and the kitchen was fully stocked with new cookware and plenty of cooking seasonings. My and friends and I took a couples trip and we couldn't have chosen a more spacious house to accommodate twelve people. There were even a few different games and puzzles provided at the house in which we took full advantage of playing. Overall I believe Kathy has earned the title of super host, she sent me a packet in the mail just a week prior to our reservation. The packet covered the rules of the house, how to work the different devices in the house, nearby restaurants, grocery stores, activities to do in town. I would recommend anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay in Michigan to book with Katy.

    Robin2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was very spacious, clean, well decorated, and well stocked. Right on the water with a balcony overlooking the lake. The host was very informative and check in was effortless thanks to the welcome packet mailed in advance.

    Nicholas2020-01-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy was great! The kitchen comes completely stocked with all the seasonings and cookware you may need. There are so many sleeping surfaces. We had six grown adults in our group and no one had to share a bed. We appreciated the cozy fireplaces, all the blankets and bedding, the beautiful morning views, and the hot tub. We went to the state park for a hike in the winter which was both exhilarating and beautiful.

    Stephanie2019-12-08T00:00:00Z
  • Great views! Good vibes! And the lake was amazing even tho we could not swim because it was cold. Overall cleanliness of the house was good! The hot tub! AMAZING ! Just a good overall place to relax and unwind.

    Sarah2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as advertised! Perfect trip for our family. Kathy was an awesome host!

    Tim2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Kathy's place is everything you could want out of a lakehouse property and more! The watercraft and house amenities are many, the views from the house are spectacular!!! We will definitely be staying again!

  • Great hospitality, friendly hosts, beautiful scenery. We'll be back soon!

    Marie-Claire2019-10-13T00:00:00Z
  • I got this place on a whim for a weekend to get some alone time for a project, and it's the best idea I've had in a while. Though there was no desk in the lodge, I makeshifted one out of an end table and read outside. The lodge itself was clean and cute and the blankets were warm. Mattress was firm and very comfortable. The coffee maker inside the lodge was a great touch. My dog LOVED running around the garden. I really appreciated how the host coordinated among guests who might have been bringing dogs (though I ended up being the only one), and the lake was super peaceful. Great place - I would definitely do this again.

  • What a great visit! Beautiful location, quiet and the lake right at your doorstep. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the outdoor kitchen and shower, but it wasn’t bad at all and was kept clean during my entire visit. Great amenities such as kayaks and boats, fire pits, and more are available for use. Great host who kept in contact with me on my day of arrival. Looking forward to another and hopefully longer stay.

    Michael2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Linda was a GREAT Host and her husband was also GREAT... we loved our lil cottage and it’s simple but terrific amenities. Had a wonderful time for 3 nights!

    Cornelia2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • The Lodge was a perfect retreat for us to enjoy during our Michigan Getaway! The property was amazing and quiet and comfortable. We loved the dock and having access to the outdoor kitchen and hot tub. Very comfortable with the perfect amount of rustic flared. And it was so close to town where we could access Lake Michigan beaches, hiking trails, and all the you-pick blueberry fields we could stand. Would definitely recommend!

    Destinee2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • The Lodge is lakeside and I loved the cool murphy bed! Felt like my private cabin on the water. So relaxing!

Luxury campsite featuring two real queen beds for your comfort, fully equipped with all the camping gear you need & more. Sleeping bags, pillows, towels, lanterns, flashlights, electric cord into the tent. Plenty of space at foot of beds for personal gear. Fully equipped outdoor kitchen & shower. Kitchen/fire pit shared with guests in The Lodge. See pictures. Wildlife, watercraft (2 2-person kayaks, row boat, pedal boat), shared hot tub and yard games. Rustic, good value lakeside getaway.
The Glamp is on a hillside nook overlooking the lake. Pretty location and fairly private, but not handicap accessible. The steps are steep leading down to The Glamp, as you will see in the pictures. Alternatively, there is a hillside walkway. It is long and fairly steep, can be a challenge for some, but it's great for fitness buffs of course. No meals are included with the rental of The Glamp. There is plenty of food storage space in the outdoor kitchen and full sized refrigerator, so no need to be cramped inside the tent.

  • Linda and Dave are excellent hosts. We had a mishap on the way there and got in extremely late. Linda was kind enough to stay awake to escort us down the terrain and make sure we got settled in. The Glamp is a great option for those that like to camp but want more amenities. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, listening to the birds, falling asleep under the stars, and drinking our coffee on a bench at the end of the dock in the morning. Our puppy dog was so excited to go swimming and get to run around in nature a bit. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Six Crows!

    Osha2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The glamp was very nice and tidy. There was plenty of room. We went mid October, so it was a bit chilly. However, they gave us ample blankets and we had a great time. They provided great local recommendations as well.

    Jesse2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Linda has such a great spot on the lake. We loved sitting on the pier, and spotting heron, and turtles, and those beautiful lily pads. Great amenities, and great location. Linda is a wonderful host, and offered great suggestions for food, and activities.

    Mary2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Glamping at Six Crows was as 5 star as Glamping could possibly be. Linda didn’t miss a thing. Lovely touches, excellent hospitality - both her and her husband - right down to bringing up my bags. Peaceful, camping without all the hassle. Do not hesitate to stay in any of her rooms - this indoors or out. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Michelle2019-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • My crew and I had such a great time at Linda’s place. Definitely see myself coming back again.

  • Enjoyed spending two nights in the "Glamp". Very comfortable, and a super fun way to spend a few nights away from the hustle and bustle of regular life.

    Rob2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • My friend and I had our first Glamping experience here at Six Lakes and absolutely loved it. Our hosts were extremely accommodating, even with our out-of-average check-in, and the site itself had everything we could have needed and then some, plus access to a waterfront and beautiful scenery. The tent/living space was very clean, and came fully stocked with all the comforts of home. We will definitely be making our way back for a long stay!

    Jacquelynn2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • Linda's set up for The Glamp was great. She had gone above and beyond to walk us through the location. They had outdoor games available (like giant Jenga), kayaks, and a seating area. We took the kayaks out on the lake which was a lot of fun. Linda is quick to respond with any questions you might have. It was a lovely location to stay.

  • This is my 2nd time staying at Linda's in the round room called The Masters. Something about that room gives me the most solid sleep ever! Hubby and I enjoyed the lake views, the relaxed pace, the breakfast nook amenities, and took advantage of the huge tub in the bathroom. <3 (We could have chosen the the hot tub, but since we had the place to ourselves on this trip and the temperatures had dropped, the indoor tub was a wonderful option.) Next time we are in the area, we know to sign right up to stay at Six Crows. We even got to catch the game on tv!

  • Great, cozy place on the lake. Loved all the many special touches, breakfast food, hot tub, comfortable lounge area. Linda is a great host always willing to provide tips and meet the needs of her guest. We went for the Irish festival and this was a relaxing retreat. Loved the kayaks and amenities on the lake!

    Steve2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great stay! Then room was clean and large. The shared spaces were nice and the appliances were great. The hot tub was sparkling clean.

  • What a great place!! It's quiet, and tucked away on a small lake. The home is a perfect setup for a getaway, and a nice little bed and breakfast with more amenities than you would expect for the price. The hosts were nice enough to let me borrow their flat-bottom boat for some bass fishing. This really is a nice gem if you need a getaway!

    Damien2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Linda was incredibly hospitable and her home is amazing! All the rooms have their own personal touch of her decorative talents. We had a wonderful experience sharing the common areas with the other guests and we made use of the watercraft a couple times. I would highly recommend a stay here. For the price you cannot beat it!

  • We loved our stay at Shannen's place in Twin Lakes! She was clear and communicative, making our later evening check-in a breeze. It was a great space with all the amenities needed. When there was a small issue with the shower, she was quick to respond and address. The spot is peaceful, relaxing, and the perfect spot for a cozy fall weekend. The porch is so nice that we couldn't pass up using for a (albeit chilly) morning breakfast outside. Thanks for a great stay.

    Lena2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Shannen was an amazing host!! She was very proactive and responsive to any questions I had, even on a weekend night when I was unsure if a noise was okay (it was, I'm just paranoid). I think I read on every single seating area during my stay there including outside, the dining room, the sun room, the living room, the breakfast bar! So many options for comfort in this home. I was even able to take a kayak out on the lake one sunny day, which was so peaceful. Thank you for an amazing stay!

  • Very nice accommodations. Stylish with all the right touches. Very nice experience

    Barbara2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing hospitality! Beautiful and clean house with many thoughtful personal touches. Gorgeous lake with breath taking sunset views. We cant wait to visit again!

  • I could write a book about how amazing Shannen and Doug's home was! The house was spotless and very well stocked with some great amenities! It was a weekend to remember and went way beyond our wildest expectations. I highly recommend their home for anybody! Thanks again for a perfect weekend!

  • Better than expected! Close to MI adventure and silver lake. Highly recommend!

  • Easy check in! Super stylish, clean, and great little touches to make your trip more memorable!

    Debra2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This rental was spotless! Everything is either brand new or refinished. The amenities and host were wonderful as they went above and beyond providing extras to make sure our stay was easy and comfortable better than a five star hotel! No worries about running out of hot water because it has a tankless water heater so we were able to shower one right after another. All the beds were very comfortable which gave us a great night sleep. Although there is no a/c with all the fans and windows in the house we all were very comfortable and it was not a problem at all! All the neighbors were super nice and the host was very responsive. During our stay we enjoyed the lake with the four person inflatable island, tubes, paddle boat, kayaks, and row boat. The back deck is spacious with lots of room for everyone. The kids also had fun fishing, catching frogs, and watching the turtles. It is a small quiet lake with forest surrounding half of it. We visited Michigan Adventure (20 minute drive)and Pere Marquette beach (30 minutes)on Lake Michigan which I would recommend both. I would say drive a little further for ice cream because the tasty corner service was not that great. Overall I would rent here again! We had a great time and made memories to last a lifetime.

Check out our local breweries; Fetch in Whitehall and Pigeon Hill in Muskegon.
  • Derek and Staci’s place was better than described and had such great neighborhood hospitality. We just took my wife, 3 year old, 2 month old, and father in law and had an amazing time. The setup is perfect for spending days playing in the lake and evenings sitting by the fire. The neighbors are super friendly and Derek and Staci are very responsive to any communication. We had no problems at all during our trip and would happily stay again if we get the chance. They don’t rent it often so if it is available you better jump on it.

  • Great spot, highly recommended. Very clean and perfect for families when traveling in Twin Lake, MI.

    Zellers Properties, LLC2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our time here, the lake is wonderful for swimming and fishing, especially for young kids. The home is well furnished and decorated, beds are comfy, kitchen is beautiful and stocked with all you could possible need for a week of vacation.

    Traci2018-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Derek's lake house exceeded our expectations. The house was clean and bright with comfortable furniture and a great kitchen. The deck, backyard, fire pit, dock and little beach were the perfect setting for our entire family to play and relax together. Derek went above and beyond with some baby-proofing measures for our toddler which made staying there a lot less stressful for me. We loved it so much and wish we could have stayed longer but we're already thinking about when we might plan another stay.

    Tina2017-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • The house is clean and nicely furnished with a beautiful lake view and access. Derek was responsive and made sure our needs were met.

    Jennifer2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • Derek's cottage was the absolute perfect setup for my family! We have two small kids (ages 3 and 5) who absolutely LOVED their kids room and bunk beds! The cottage is really clean and equipped with everything you need! It is very clean and well taken care of. We really enjoyed the dock, firepit and swimming in the very nice, clean lake! We also did morning runs around the lakes (there are multiple lakes all surrounding) and found a really nice public beach and playground as well. Twin Lakes is a small town, but lots near by. We did Lewis Farms (amazing petting zoo and kids activities) as well as Country Farm. There is a small grocery store called JH's which has all of the essentials, but not the place you would want to grocery shop for a long stay. But it was super convenient for us to pick up a few odds and ends and is about 1-2 miles up the road. The neighbors are incredibly nice and offered up great suggestions for our stay as did Derek. We learned that Derek plans to only rent his cottage a few weeks a year, so consider yourself lucky if you are able to score this great cottage! We loved our stay and would highly recommend!

  • We enjoyed a long winter weekend at Eden where everything was clean and comfortable. We didn't do much cooking, but there were pots, pans and utensils for what we needed. Well stocked with the basic toiletries and cleaning supplies. Updated interior to a cozy cottage with lake views. We'll have to come back in the summer.

Pull into the driveway and walk into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom lake house that sleeps 12. Watch the fog roll across the water from the deck as the sun rises over the trees or pick some strawberries from the garden. Big Blue Lake is 330 acres, surrounded by private camps and cottages. There’s a private dock, 50 feet of shoreline and a patio by the beach.
Pull up to the top of the hill into a 5 car driveway and enjoy your stay in a 1500 square foot lake house on 50 feet of shoreline. Fire up the grill and smoke some salmon while enjoying views of the 330 acre lake, summer camps encompass half of the lake's shoreline. Relax by the fireplace or sit outside on the patio and enjoy a margarita as the sun sets. Wake up early to some hot coffee with the Keurig and experience the mystical fog rolling off the lake. The bald eagle spreads its wings as early as the sun rises and sprinklers water the grass. Shortly after, fishermen hit the mystical waters. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and room for 12.
Some houses are year round, while others are summer homes. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, from locals to out-of-staters. Road leading up to home is dirt and traffic is minimal.
  • Spacious rental good for large groups. Lake is shallow and good for swimming, great fire pit for late night fun! Only thing it was lacking is a microwave, of course you can do without one but just don't bring microwave bacon like I did haha

    Kelli2019-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Lake is absolutely beautiful. House was exactly what we needed. We actually all had reception, and Patrick was extremely accommodating when the power went out and when we needed help with our boat!

    Abby2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Overall, my family had a great time. My parents enjoyed their anniversary at the big blue lake. No beach but it's sand all the way out as far as you can touch. Neighbors were amazing to us. They made the experience alot better. Phone service was pretty much non existent but that's what you want in a getaway vacation. The hospitality was great, answered any question and was very informative. Only bad things were a lot of going up and down stairs and they sprayed the lake one day to kill the seaweed so the kids couldn't swim so we had to leave for the day. That being said sand dune rides and Luddington Beach were just an hour away. Would definitely return someday.

    Paul2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location along the lake. Sunrise and sunset was beautiful to watch in the sunroom. We had 9 people stay and we had enough room for everyone. The house is quite old, things weren't in the best shape, but still worked out for everyone!

  • I've been to a few places on Airbnb and Cindy's place was one of my favorites. The description and photos are nice but don't compare to what it's like in person. The boys went disc golfing while the ladies spent the day on the lake. We loved eating dinner on the deck and ending our day around their fire pit. We made use of the kayaks and paddle boat. Everything was great- would highly recommend.

    Leigh2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely lake house. We had so much fun on the kayaks and paddle boat.

  • Little Silver Hart Cottage was the perfect place for me and my family to spend the weekend at. It was very clean and had a really great outdoor area for cooking out and hanging out. The cottage has kayaks and a pedal boat for great fun on the lake. Thanks for hosting us and we look forward to staying at the cottage again! Highly recommend.

  • My family and I wanted to visit the area along with Grand Haven and Saugatuck. This space was super nice! Everything was labeled and check in was easy. The screenroom was perfect in the mornings, and was especially nice on the one day it rained while we were there. I can’t begin to explain how great the lake view was. There was an amazing fire pit and that made nights looking out onto the lake perfect. The foosball in the sunroom was great. Cindy and Randy sprinkled nice touches throughout. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was very clean. We were even able to use their kayaks!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Highly recommend, we would love to stay again!

    Jenna2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • Cindy’s lake house is a wonderful place to say. Everything you need to stay on a nice lake. The bedrooms were perfect and the living areas were very comfy. The kitchen has everything you need, and I loved how it was so nicely marked. We appreciated the kayaks to explore the lake, and there were even life jackets in all sizes! Highly recommended if you want a nice relaxing place for a weekend or more, whether it be a family or just a couple.

    Shawn2019-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • Even though the weather meant we couldn't take advantage of the outdoor spaces, the cottage still lived up to expectations as a great weekend getaway. It's cozy, quiet, clean, and well-stocked with both kitchen supplies and activities -- everything you'd hope for. The owners were thoughtful as well. We hope to come back during a less rainy season!

    Marc2018-10-07T00:00:00Z

  • Linda and Dave are very friendly and thoughtful. They went out of their way to be welcoming and anticipate what their guests would need. And the other people sharing the space were a pleasure to meet. When you stay at Six Crows, part of the charm is interacting with the people there. And of course, the little lake is beautiful- reminds me why I love Michigan!

  • We had a wonderful weekend at Linda's place! She and her husband are incredible hosts, with great hearts. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast area was just right with plenty of easy options to start your day. We enjoyed drinking coffee out on the patio area or down by the dock in the mornings and made great use of the hot tub in the evenings. Linda's place is in a great location for visiting local landmarks and attractions. Can't wait to come back!

  • Six Crows B&B is a great place to stay! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels and toiletries and Linda provided a great selection of items for a make your own breakfast bar. We would definitely book another weekend at Six Crows!

    Shane2019-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • This is such a wonderful little place to stay!! Linda is so easy to communicate with and they are very welcoming and accommodating hosts. They respected our privacy but were around and ready to help if we needed anything. The rooms are very homey and the common areas were as well. The hot tub was fantastic and the view of the lake is so wonderful to look out in see whether in the common room or from our Flower Room. They have plenty of things to do around the property if you are just looking to get away for a simple couple of days but they are also near some bigger cities and Lake Michigan is also super close. One thing that took a little getting used to is the bathroom. It has two bedrooms that connect directly to the bathroom separated by doors you can lock from the inside and out. So you just have to remember to lock and unlock all the doors! Upon leaving, we realized that we had left our swimsuits behind and Linda was gracious enough to send them to us via post. My fiance and I had such a wonderful time and it was greatly due to the accommodations. If we are in the area again, we will make sure to check if the Flower Room is available.

  • My husband, 3 young children and myself stayed in one of the cottages with the original intent to go to Michigan adventure for the whole day. Well, shorty after arriving we changed our plans and decided to stay and enjoy the lake and all there was to do. We spent the majority of the time on the water using the kayaks, paddle boards and boats that were available. We fished, enjoyed bonfires each night and even played the giant jenga game! We did go into the nearby town to grab some lunch but quickly made it back to be by the water. The cottage was super cute and quaint and got the family all together in the same space. It was incredibly clean and offered all the amenities that were necessary. Mary is a wonderful host that has such an amazing space that we all loved so much! If considering booking, please go for it, you won’t regret it!

If you consider yourself a musician, artist, or writer...if terms like "The Shire" or "English countryside" appeal to you...if you find both rest and rejuvenation in an outdoor setting… Then you will find your muse in the former personal residence of world-renowned designer and architect Ray Jansma. He custom-built this home for his family in 1951.
Dear Friend, My wife and I recently bought the former residence of the late Ray Jansma. We are in the process of restoring it and are now opening it up to you. Our realtor remarked that in his 30-year-long career this was his favorite home. One visitor described it, along with the Cappon House in Holland, a “must-see home in Michigan.” The whimsical style of Jansma, who blends Frank Lloyd Wright with literary Hobbiton, will awaken your imagination. (The home even has a clock tower!) Also on the property: a spacious workshop where Jansma built the wooden sailboat that now sails the Great Lakes and ports in Chicago (or so we’ve been told).
*Branstrom Park (100 acres of woodlands) (URL HIDDEN) Down the road- where Darling St meets Ramshorn *Arboretum Park (7 acre park with all trees native to Michigan) 540 E Pine Street *Wessling Observatory (Two Saturday's each month May-October join a Star party - see Jupitor or a Meteor shower!) $5/adult 6523 W Baseline Rd *Free summer concerts in Veteran's Park *Dogwood Center for Performing Arts *Numerous Lakes with public access *Numerous Farm Stands, Berry patches, Local Amish
  • Jeff and Erin are amazing hosts and have wonderful kids! I’ve enjoyed myself a lot - great conversations as well as me-time to paint in their workshop! Highly recommended, I can’t wait to go back!

  • This is a very nice and quiet but very scenic little area, set outside of town but close enough for your needs! Nice country roads with plenty of wild life to watch and hear! Their home is full of local history and a treasure of art throughout their home! They are very courteous and hospitable and Erin is no doubt an excellent cook!

  • This place was so great I stayed twice! The property and home was great, and Erin's coffee cake was delicious!

  • Jeff and Erin were wonderful hosts! They were kind and their space was beautiful. Great pillows and bedding. Great water pressure and shower. Private separate space in the home. I felt so welcome!

  • My stay with Jeff and Erin was great! They have a cute cat named Harlow and three sweet children. They all were so kind and helpful if I needed anything. Very quick to respond and answer any questions

  • This was a great place to stay. Everything was very clean and comfortable. Jeff and Erin are great people who were extremely welcoming and friendly. The location is beautiful and peaceful, and close enough to many other relaxing places, including parks and lake Michigan sand dunes. Just what I needed to unwind.

  • Jeff and Erin were phenomenal. From communication prior to arriving to their warm welcome, to a lovely breakfast and some amazing suggestions for the rest of the trip, I couldn't have possibly asked for a better experience. Their home is stunning, and the bedroom is spacious and so beautiful. You have your own wing of the house, essentially, which is nice if you're looking for some time to relax alone. Jeff and Erin were very welcoming when I popped out into the common spaces, though, and were happy to chat with me. Erin's coffee cake in the morning was scrumptious (possibly the best I've had). The whole family is lovely, the home is a must-see, and Jeff and Erin couldn't possibly offer a better experience. Highly, highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway or retreat.

  • Mary was such a warm, welcoming host. The cabins were clean, the view was amazing, and anything that we needed over the week Mary provided. She went above and beyond for us during our wedding week, even down to finding buckets to keep our flowers fresh. Mary made us feel like family, there is no place I can think of that would top a getaway to the cottages.

  • Mary was the perfect host! Welcomed us and showed us around and made us feel at home. We loved our little cottage and Blue Lake! Quiet, relaxed, easy. Enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing boat. A perfect place for two or family get away. Mary was available and responded quickly to questions and our needs. Also, met a very nice couple at the communal fireplace. A wonderful stay, thanks, Mary.
