  • Nicest hosts, beautiful space. Am over the moon with my stay.

  • Great space for a family with all the amenities. Spotlessly clean would definitely recommend

  • This was our second stay at Rosie's. We had a great stay again. Its a stylish flat with plenty of room, and everything we needed for an overnight stay. Helpful information about the locality is provided. Lots of interesting places to eat and drink within walking distance. Thank you Rosie.

    Jane2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Rosie's apartment for one night as I was attending a concert in the area that evening. But nonetheless I was made to feel very welcome - the apartment is spacious but cosy, plenty of natural light and quiet enough not to really be aware that Rosie and her family live 'upstairs'. The check-in details were simple to follow too. It's a short 10 minute bus ride from Sheffield train station - ideal! AND there are plenty of local amenities and places to eat as well.

    Paul2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • The most amazing host and the most beautiful space. A week of retreat from building works. Rosie couldn’t have made us more welcome. Fabulous!

    Tiffany2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great Airbnb in a fab location for both Ecclesall Road and the city Center. Fit 4 in perfectly, would come again if needing a place to stay in Sheffield

    Sophie2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay here. The flat is spacious and very stylish. We couldn’t fault our experience.

    Aaron2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place, exactly as described, but with plenty of thoughtful extra touches. Rosie suggested some great places for us to eat, was an excellent communicator, and the flat was extremely clean and comfy. We had a double air bed, and a double futon, and extra blankets and storage heaters kept us nice and warm. Would definitely recommend.

    - Why stay in a room, when you could have your own little house? - Built in 1860's - Newly refurbished - Sleeps 6 - Super-king master bed - New shower room - New kitchen - Private parking - In Nether Edge - Two cafés just doors away - Two local supermarkets - Local bakery - Tea, real coffee, juice, fresh fruit and cereals for your breakfast - Near universities, city centre and Peak District - Buses: Chatsworth House every 30 mins. Town every 10. - 24/7 Check-in - Superfast wifi - Internet TV
This is is the converted coach-house and wash-house attached to a fine old Victorian home built in the 1860's. There is a separate entrance for your accommodation so you are in your own private space. We are in the heart of Nether Edge close to local shops, cafes and a traditional local pub. There are frequent buses into town and out into the peak district. This is what you get: Upstairs double bedroom Downstairs bed/sitting room (with an extra bed on platform above). Brand new shower room (installed 2018) with unlimited mains pressure hot water. Newly fitted kitchen. Private off street parking (ample space for 2 cars). Secure bicycle storage. Small outside seating area. Cereals/milk/fruit/tea/coffee/juice for breakfast. The Old Coach House is a great space for two or three people. But it can sleep as many as five or six. If you need the extra beds, the living room can become a second bedroom with two double beds (one king-size double sofa bed, plus one small double on raised platform). You'll need to be good friends though. Two of the beds are in the same room. And you will all be sharing the one bathroom and the small kitchen. The first double bedroom is the old hayloft of the coach-house. Very light and spacious with one window overlooking our courtyard and another overlooking the garden. The floor is wooden. The ceilings are sloping and there are old wooden beams and a big desk. But the main feature of the room is the super-king size bed. The frame is hand crafted from timber reclaimed from an old Yorkshire mill. The mattress is pocket sprung. Medium firm. All the bedding is 100 % cotton and there's a cosy duck feather and down quilt. The second double bedroom (family room) is downstairs. It is the old wash-house. A very characterful room with exposed brickwork, an old solid-fuel iron cooking range and high sloping ceiling. If you are only booking for two guests, this room becomes your living room with sofa, armchair and coffee table. If you are a larger party, there will be one king size sofa bed in this room. Then on a raised platform, an additional small double bed. (4ft). Ideal for a single person or two children. This bed is accessed up a steep narrow staircase. (Mind your head!). There's a little seating area outside - just for you! There's a really good wi-fi signal and high speed internet connection. The Old Coach House has its own wi-fi access point to a Virgin Media 200 Mbps fibre-optic broadband connection. There are ethernet sockets in each bedroom if you prefer to have a wired connection. In each bedroom you have a Smart TV with HD Freeview channels and full internet connectivity for BBC iPlayer, All4, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Now TV etc (you need to bring your own account details to log on to subscription services). Downstairs there's a Cambridge Audio wireless loudspeaker so you can play your own music from a phone or tablet. In the kitchen you have an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, and washer dryer. You get a range of cereal, muesli, juice, fresh fruit, real coffee, teas and milk so that you can make your own breakfast. There are two cafes very close by if you want to go out for breakfast. And there's a local bakery just round the corner selling fresh bread. For meals later in the day there's traditional pub food at the nearby Byron House pub. And a multitude of different eating places and local pubs a short walk away. If you need a travel cot or high chair, do ask, we can usually let you borrow ours. The Old Coach House has it's own independent gas central heating and unlimited hot water. (new boiler fitted 2017). All bedding is 100% cotton. And there are plenty of towels - no need to bring your own. If you are coming by bicycle (or bringing a bicycle) you are welcome to use our spacious locked bike shed. We'd rather you didn't put your bikes in The Old Coach House.
Nether Edge is 1.8 miles from Sheffield city centre and railway station. It is close to both the University of Sheffield and the Sheffield Hallam University and close to the main teaching hospitals. There are frequent buses to town. There are lots of trees round here and big old stone-built houses. There are plenty of cafes and pubs within walking distance. Indeed two cafes and a pub on our very own street. There's a Sainsbury's Local store and an Indian take-away just round the corner. And a Tesco Local and Pizza Hut ten minutes walk away. We are 2 miles away from the Peak District national park. A short drive or local bus journey from Chatsworth House and Bakewell.

A stunning listed mill tucked away on the edge of Hathersage, Derybshire an idyllic village in the Peak National Park. The Music Mill pays homage to the buildings musical heritage as an intriguing location for making the first gramophone needles in the UK.
The indulgence you need after experiencing the Peak District outdoor adventures on your doorstep. The Music Mill wows you, as you enter through the old workers entrance, into the stunning open plan living area. Enjoy the cavernous, social space; cook a feast for family & friends, catch up in front of the log burner, have a film night with the blue ray/DVD player or relax a while in the originally styled bathroom. For our younger guests (or the young at heart!) we have a games console with a small selection of games. The Mill is hidden in the Derbyshire hills, by a stream at the edge of Hathersage Village. The Mill keeps its Victorian industrial appearance on the outside but now has contemporary comfort and decadent design on the inside. The quaint village of Hathersage is within 5 minutes walk of the Mill with a wealth of history .... The brother of Charlotte Bronte's school friend Ellen Hussey was vicar of Hathersage. In 1845, Charlotte stayed at the vicarage preparing for the return of the vicar and his wife from honeymoon. She spent weeks exploring the moors and the houses scattered among them. These, and the chiming church clock, all became part of her famous novel 'Jane Eyre'.Outlaw Robin Hood is said to have been born at Loxley, just eight miles from Hathersage. His lieutenant, Little John, is reputedly buried in Hathersage churchyard, in a grave measuring 11 feet from headstone to footstone. Hathersage train station is in 5 minutes walking distance of the Mill. The village is served by a public transport service. Manchester Airport is the nearest airport and rail travel is available from the airport to Hathersage.

  • Six of us had a super time at the Music Mill celebrating my Mum's birthday. The house is really well equipped for dining in and the location a stone's throw from Hathersage was perfect for dog walks from the door and a pub trip or two. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches - from the tea, coffee and biscuits, to the board games, speaker and luxurious towels. We would very happily have stayed longer!

    Jenna2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • What a luxurious place! Great for relaxing and a perfect location for some fabulous Peak District walks. The nearby Hathersage Social Club comes highly recommended for food (if you don't want to cook in the exceedingly well equipped kitchen). We will hopefully return soon!

    Angus2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Music Mill, the pictures are beautiful but it’s even more stunning in real life. It’s situated in a lovely village and it was perfect for going on long walks and coming home to retreat to the fire! There were plenty of nice restaurants too. Thank you Jo for one of the best stays I’ve had. I would recommend to anyone and hope to come back again!

  • Wonderful space. Perfect for a group of friends/ family. Spacious, very comfortable with cosy rooms and beautiful views. Hathersage is a lovely village and there are great walks directly from the mill without the need to drive. We had a fabulous time

  • Perfect location with walks on your doorstep and a short stroll away from the centre of Hathersage. The Music Mill offers everything you need along with beautiful interiors. Would highly recommend for a family or group of friends.

  • What a place! Three generations of my family thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house in the stunning countryside. We had everything we we could need at the house and anything else could be found nearby. The hosts were great with communication and offered so many little touches to help us through our stay. I would definitely revisit and recommend to anyone. Thank you so much!

    Alexandra2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The Mill is a beautiful property situated in the delightful small town of Hathersage. Our family group of 6 adults and 1 child stopped over for 3 nights and the property comfortably accommodated us. We were impressed with the cleanliness, accuracy of description of the property and the little extras left to help us settle in. We would be happy to recommend the Mill to anyone considering a stopover in the Peak District.

    • Light, bright entire terraced townhouse in Woodseats. • Free street parking and fast Wi-Fi. • Full Kitchen with dining area, and cosy separate lounge downstairs. • Bedroom and bathroom upstairs. • Self check in/out via key safe. • 1 min walk to bus going directly to city centre. • 5-10 min walk into Woodseats centre with lots of shops and restaurants. • 20 min walk to Abbeydale Road with a selection of great bars and nightlife. • 15 min drive to stunning Peak District National Park.
This house was completely renovated from scratch one year ago, and the interiors designed by myself, a former graphic designer. It is designed to be lovely and bright in the day, but super cosy with mood lighting and comfortable furniture in the evening. The guest bedroom has plenty of space and storage, and there is a sofa bed in the lounge that is smaller than a double but larger than a single. It can hold two people at a push (or two children easily), but it's cosy!
There will be a full guide with recommendations and ideas for Sheffield and the surrounding area upon arrival.

  • A cute, cosy little getaway with stunning views and everything you could need for a break in the Peak District. You'll definitely need a car to get around. So lovely we don't want to go home! Thanks Andrew :)

  • Everything was great, no complaints. Three lovely nights in the love shack.

  • The cabin was great, very warm on a cold, wet weekend. Cabin is on a working farm as mentioned with a great view and super quiet. Pub down the road is fabulous, must try. You 100% need a car to get around. All in all can’t fault it.

Are you coming to study or work in Sheffield? Then this room will be perfect for you! It has a flying bed (like a bunk bed but with no bed below it), a desk and chair for work or study, a hanging rail for clothes and shelves for your things. You will be sharing the house with other friendly and kind people who work at the University of Sheffield. We occasionally go out to the cinema together and have meals together.
At the moment there are 5 people living in the house, including my girlfriend and I. The house is very quiet and clean. The people who come to stay or live in the house are often related to the university, they come for short-term courses or research projects. The house is built on three floors. On the ground floor there is a bedroom, a small toilet, the kitchen (with a 6/8 seat table, a big fridge-freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and plenty of pots, cooking utensils, cutlery and plates - so no need to buy or bring anything). We have a small garden with a table and chairs to sit outside if there is nice weather. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. This room is on the third floor along with a bathroom that is shared between 4 rooms. My room is also on the third floor and I have my own bathroom.
The house is in a beautiful, safe residential area in the south east of Sheffield, the postcode is S12 2UL. There is a park nearby with a tennis court and a football field, there is also a gym (with a swimming pool) within walking distance. There are some shops around to buy food.
  • Friendly host, considerate service, nice kitchen, tidy and clean bedroom

  • Lovely house in lovely location. Short drive to the city centre and only 20 meters away from a nice park. Gus and Louisa were lovely hosts and were always willing to go out of their way to give me a helping hand with anything I needed and were very pleasant people to talk to. The bedroom was great to stay in; cosy, warm and utile. The desk was a nice touch for me to conduct my nightly studies. Would 10/10 recommend a stay here. Top value for money.

  • Just come back from 3 nights at the dairy, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment from check in onwards. The space was very clean, the bedding the towels were all high quality. The space itself was ideal for 2 of us with our dog. All the utensils etc we needed were there including oils salt pepper and milk. The location is lovely, and very close to many walks for the dog. Already looking forward to booking up again.

The house is located well for all amenities, restaurants, takeaways, pubs. Fabulous 2 parks in Sheffield. Great transport access. Close to Derbyshire. City centre 3 miles great buses around 15 mins. Quiet area . I do have 5 very small friendly dogs, who also love to welcome guests. Gyms nearby virgin, PureGym. Sheffield has many parks and we are in between 2 beautiful parks to go stroll through. Chatsworth by bus 20 mins. Perfect for anywhere in a calm dog friendly house Checkout is flexible
Friendly, convenient. Single room with Tv great view of Derbyshire. The bed does pull out to make into double or 2 singles but the room is then full. Have managed this for a couple of times. Please ask if required would be £10.00 extra per night for second person
It is a very green place lots of trees and open spaces. 2 wonderful parks within walking distance and only 20 mins into fabulous Derbyshire. Ideal for business . Only downside parking is on the road. But it is a dead end and if you drive to Perigree Road the parking is better and same access to house. City center and university easy access great bus routes. Lots of restaurants Great base for work or pleasure stays

Our clean and spacious property is a stone's throw from Sheffield city centre and the Peak District National Park. Why not share coffee and cake in the cosy lounge? Dinner in the dining-kitchen? Morning tea in the garden? Feel free to make yourself at home in the shared spaces or retreat to your private room. Rich is looking forward to making your stay in Sheffield as welcoming and enjoyable as possible.
Your cosy single room is the perfect setting for relaxation during your time in Steel City. From your window you can look out across the city and let in the breeze. The comfy bed and duck-down duvet make for perfect hibernation, and the double glazing, central heating, and blackout curtains will keep things toasty and quiet. Travelling with others or after a little extra space? I also list a double room for rent! Why not check if that's available too? Make yourself at home during your stay, and feel free to ask any questions you have. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
The semi-detached brick house is built on a hill just outside the city centre. It is tastefully furnished and modern, having been built only in 2005. Despite its proximity to the city, the estate is quiet and you're never far from green space.
  • I had a good stay at Richards house. Very clean. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet Richard as he works shifts and I work long days. Getting in and out of his home was a great touch, using an app on your smartphone. Very easy to do. Would definitely stay again

A very spacious, newly renovated loft conversion boasting 3 large Velux windows with amazing views over the city. Large comfy double bed with memory foam mattress, 50" Plasma TV and private ensuite and shower. The communal spaces consist of an open plan kitchen/diner with cosy seating area. Equipped with TV, large corner sofa and an original Victorian fireplace. To the rear of the property we have a very pleasant outdoor decked patio with garden furniture and BBQ facilities.
The loft conversion has an ensuite shower and wc. Beautiful views over the entire city from not one but 3 large velux windows. Rest assured all 3 windows are fitted with blackout blinds, if you don't want to watch the stars. The loft was newly refurbished 12 months ago, including new carpets, it needs to be seen to be appreciated.
My house is very well preserved Victorian Terrace with a beautiful loft conversion situated in a much sought after area of Sheffield. Only 2.5 miles from the city centre (with direct bus links) and only a ten minute drive to the Peak District, with a varied choice of beautiful parks within walking distance. The position of my house is perfect to enjoy the best of both worlds. Wether it be a long walk in the beautiful peak district or experiencing the vibrant, cosmopolitan city of Sheffield. We are 5 minutes walk from Ecclesall road, which has a large selection of bars, restaurants and cafes. There are no reviews yet, for my property, due to the fact that I have only very recently listed the space. But hey...everybody's got to start somewhere.
  • This was my first visit to Sheffield. I loved Julie's house and the spacious room with en suite were a perfect place to relax. Julie and her family were warm and friendly. The house is in a lovely part of town, a short walk to some independent shops, nice cafes and bars and parks and botanical gardens. I really liked Sheffield and will return and hopefully Julie's room will be available when I do.

Our studio flat is part of our home but it has a private entrance. The studio is up a flight of stairs. It is a light, modern space with a separate shower room, a desk area, a fridge, a double bed and a single bed. We will leave food (including home made bread and jam) and drinks so that you can enjoy a welcome drink on arrival and a good "continental" breakfast in the morning. Its location on the A61 south of Sheffield is convenient for access to both the M1 and the Derbyshire Peaks
Our studio has a double bed and a single bed, a dining table, 3 chairs and a desk area with an office-type chair. There is a fridge for the use of guests. We are sorry that the cooker and washing machine are not available for guests. We can provide a highchair if needed. There is space for one car on our drive and further on-road parking nearby. Bikes can be left indoors in the downstairs passage. It would be OK with me if a couple wish to bring a son or daughter making 3 people - otherwise I have stated a maximum of 2.
Woodseats has several restaurants, coffee bars and take-aways including Italian, Indian, and a Costa. Graves Park is behind our house with excellent walks, tennis courts, a playground and a children's animal farm. Sheffield city centre with its two universities is 15 minutes drive and you can be in the Peak District in 20 minutes

Your new home for a few days is newly refurbished and kept super clean. You'll find the house both spacious and cozy with enough room for you to unpack and enjoy your stay. In the livingroom there's a t.v. complete with Netflix and Amazon video if you'd like to relax indoors, or you could pull up a chair and enjoy some fresh air in the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and you're more than welcome to cook and eat downstairs.
Eggs and cereal etc will also be provided for you to start your day with breakfast before heading out. And for the evenings, there are bathbombs, oil and candles for you to use if you'd like a relaxing soak in the bath. Your room has blackout curtains so youll be able to sleep regardless of the time of day There's also a printer that you can use if needed
Norfolk park is literally on the doorstep so it's great for a lovely stroll through all the trees, there's s lovely view of the city and a playground if you have little ones.

    Ylli2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed here a whole month to find a permanent place to live, having just moved to Sheffield. All the key amenities are available here, including a washing machine and tumble dryer, fridge/ freezer, plus a shower and two toilets. There's a lounge area as well to watch TV and a small garden to sit in. The house was always warm and the bed was very comfortable too. The bedroom was very spacious and it included a wardrobe, two bedside tables, and a plant. Tommy, the co-host, will be around and he's really nice - he'll be able to help you if you need anything as well. The house is only 3 minutes' walk to the tram stop on Arbourthorne Road. Choose the purple line 'Cathedral route' to go to the city centre (where the Cathedral is) which is about 10-12 minutes total, or the blue 'Malin Bridge' route that's the same route except it goes further into the city then up to Malin Bridge. Both trams stop at the train station along the way. On weekday mornings they come along about every 10 minutes. The other direction takes you to Herdings Park. Within the area the house is, you'll be near to Norfolk Park if you want to have a nice afternoon stroll plus the house is a short walk away from seeing a lovely panoramic view across the city. Food-wise there's a fish and chip shop about a 5 minute walk from the house which was good quality and quite a good price. There's also a premier convenience store next to the chip shop. Aside from the small 'rumble' from the trams passing by along Arbourthorne Road, it's a quiet area. So whether you stay here a day, a week or a month, this is a great place to settle into, enjoy the local walks, and whizz around the city from. And the price for it all is pretty good!

  • This place ticked all my boxes. It was quiet, warm, had a fast and reliable internet connection and a host who couldn't be more helpful. From picking me up at the local station and helping me with luggage - even giving me a lift to the nearest supermarket to get stocked up! Oh yes and the bed was really comfortable - and quiet ... did I mention the quiet?

  • Just come home from a a 3 night stay at Scott's, from the start he was quick to respond and very helpful. Met him at the property at the arranged time where he greeted us with fresh bread and milk (lovely touch.) Showed us round the flat and then left us to enjoy our stay saying if we needed any local tips or advice just ask. The flat had every thing we needed and was very clean warm and comfortable. Great location. Thanks again Scott!

    Leanne2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed a 3 night break in Scott’s clean, comfortable, quiet flat in a convenient location moments from the Peak District. Very warm and cosy. Plenty of hot water and excellent shower. Scott met us personally at the flat and showed us around. Thoughtfully left some bread and milk which was a nice touch. Lovely views and fantastic bird watching from the large windows which was an unexpected bonus!

    Wayne2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great space for our visit. Ideal for checking out the local area. In a quiet apartment block within walking distance to the local pub. Short drive to the nearest station. Scott was great in leaving us breakfast for the weekend - nice touch!

    Amy2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely flat, cozy, clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious, with a particularly fabulous shoe rack! Better in real life than the already great photos. Scott is a super host, provided thoughtful touches, was quick to reply if we had questions, but otherwise left us to enjoy our stay.

  • nice guy, would stay again, great location for what i needed it to be

    Kerrie2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at the flat - it was well-kept and had everything we needed. Great location too, with easy access to the Peak District national park and a short commute into Sheffield city centre. Scott was very accommodating and communicative as well. Would definitely stay here again.

    Robbie2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Scott’s flat situates in a lovely outskirt of Sheffield and only five minutes drive into Peak District and 20 minutes drive into the city centre. It’s in a quiet residential area, there are 2 buses to town and about 10-15 walk to the bus stop, there you can also find local shops for general needs. Scott is a great host, he explained when we have queries, he prepared milk, bread, tea and coffee for our first 2 days breakfast which is very considerate for someone new to the area. We stayed there for a month, it’s a comfortable flat, very warm and clean, it’s basically a move from home to home, we enjoyed it a lot. The only thing that occurs occasionally is the hot water in bathroom runs rather too hot or too cold. It’s definitely recommended to anyone.

  • It was a such a good experience staying at Dragden’s place. So peaceful, silent and clean! And it was great to see the huge green park from the window. Nicola, who was in charge, was so friendly , good and helpful who gave me all the information. Such a convenient area, the bus stop right at the door step of the place, from where you can take bus no.272 to Hope Valley & Castleton, Derbyshire, in half an hour ! Ten mins from the city centre and Railway Station. So many cafes and a variety of restaurants at a very short walk from the place. Breakfast was ok too. Over all a very nice place to stay when in Sheffield! I would surely recommend it . Cheers !!

  • The Meditation Centre is a quiet space, in front of the beautiful Endcliff Park. From there it is easy to go anywhere in Sheffield, since many buses lines pass there. Supermarkets, stores and restaurants are at walking distance. You can visit the Botanical Gardens on foot. The world Peace Café in the Centre offers good vegan and vegetarian options. The meditation classes included are a delightful plus. Dragden is a very kind person and a great host indeed! Great place to stay for those who want good location, good price and tranquility.

  • Nadeem is a great host and he did the things that other hosts don't normally do, such as cooking breakfast for the guests, picking up our bags from the train station (we were originally planning to drop our bags at his place before we headed to the peak district for hiking) and giving us a small gift. I and my friend chatted with him a lot and we watched the TV together. We will definitely come back again

The Robins cottage is close to Chatsworth House and The Peak District. You’ll love the beautiful countryside, and the pub across the road. It's great for couples, small families and furry friends (dogs). There is a sofabed in the lounge or space for an extra bed in the bedroom.
The Robins cottage is part of Cowclose Barn, an old stone building comprising 2 cottages, and converted by us about 2008. It has modern amenities but retains many old features. It is used as a holiday home. Downstairs there is a lounge/diner, kitchen and large bathroom (bath and shower). Upstairs is one large bedroom with a comfortable kingsize bed and space for additional bed or cot(£). Travel cot, high chair and baby bath available. It's a cosy place with double glazing and gas central heating. There is a large shared garden with a patio, and a play area for young children. Dogs are welcome (£15 per stay per dog - cash on arrival. Two dogs £10 each). Wifi access is limited but free
You will be surrounded by beautiful countryside. We are on the eastern edge of the amazing Peak District. There are many stately homes, pretty villages, fantastic walks. We are about a 15 minute drive from Chatsworth House. There are many local walks, notably in the Linacre Valley. The shortest walk is to our local - The Gate Inn for local beers, excellent food and hospitality. (A visit won't break the bank!) Our nearest town is Chesterfield (famous for its Crooked Spire). Chesterfield has an indoor and outdoor market and 2 theatres. Sheffield is about a 30 minute drive (shopping, museums, theatres). There is plenty of local information and maps in the cottage, including a Dogs Welcome Folder with suggestions for pubs, walks etc. We can provide secure storage for your bikes.
  • Lovely few days at The Robins. Cute little extra touches and kitchen had everything I needed. Very cosy and warm and perfect location to get out into the peaks. Couldn’t fault it.

  • A beautiful cottage in a great location for local activities. Clean and tidy, nice touches like a pint of milk in the fridge, home-baked goodies and dog treats! Myself and my 2 dogs had a lovely stay.

    Sian2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at The Robins, the place was sparkling clean and had everything you could need for a short or long stay. Amenities are great with a complete kitchen (one of those moments where you need a piece of cling film and go searching through the drawers expecting to be disappointed but instead are pleasantly surprised!), and a large bathroom. A real home away from home. Barbara was a great host, very responsive, and clearly cares a lot about guest experience. She also kindly assisted us with laundry, and we got homemade almond tarts on arrival! We will definitely stay here again in future. Thanks Barbara!

Richard is looking forward to making your stay in Sheffield as welcoming and enjoyable as possible.
Your light and spacious double room is the perfect setting for relaxation during your time in Steel City. From your window you can look out across the city and let in the breeze. The comfy bed and duck-down duvet make for perfect hibernation, and the double glazing, central heating, and blackout curtains will keep things toasty and quiet. Travelling as two friends? See if my additional single room is available (also listed on AirBnB). Make yourself at home during your stay, and feel free to ask us any questions you have. Richard is looking forward to meeting you.
The semi-detached brick house is built on a hill just outside the city centre. It is tastefully furnished and modern, having been built only in 2005. Despite its proximity to the city, the estate is quiet and you're never far from green space.
  • Richard made me really feel at home during the 3 months I stayed at his place! The room is exactly as advertised and you can use the entire house (including kitchen and living room) during your stay. Richard is a lovely host, will help you wherever he can and he knows all hidden places in Sheffield and around. I would definitely recommend!

  • Great stay, cosy well thought out room with a really comfortable bed!! Richard was responsive, cats were adorable! No problems-good for a couple of days or longer for work/courses. The house as well as a whole is great clean and modern and we used the kitchen and living room (Richard was occasionally around with an occasional chat but usually out all day with work sometimes weekend). Check in can be confusing (smartphone needed) at first but if you follow all the instructions it’s fine. Just a reminder no lock on bedroom door. 25min walk ish to town downhill-to come back...it’s uphill-but tram stop Is a few mins walk from the house. Premier supermarket store close by for basics. Thanks again, recommended.

Are you coming to study or work in Sheffield? Then this room will be perfect for you! It has a double bed, a desk and chair for work or study, a wardrobe with hanging space, shelves and drawers for your things. You will be sharing the house with other friendly and kind people who work at the University of Sheffield. We occasionally go out to the cinema together and have meals together.
At the moment there are 4 people living in the house, including my girlfriend and I. The house is very quiet and clean. The people who come to stay or live in the house are often related to the university, they come for short-term courses or research projects. The house is built on three floors. This room is on the ground floor along with a small (shared) toilet, the kitchen (with a 6/8 seat table, a big fridge-freezer, a washing machine, a dishwasher and plenty of pots, cooking utensils, cutlery and plates - so no need to buy or bring anything). We have a small garden with a table and chairs to sit outside if there is nice weather. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms. On the third floor there is a another small bedroom, the bathroom that is shared between 4 rooms.
  • The description of the place is 100% accurate. Gustavo is an extremely kind, helpful and flexible host.

Your new home for a few days is newly refurbished and kept super clean. You'll find the house both spacious and cozy with enough room for you to unpack and enjoy your stay. In the living room there's a t.v. complete with Netflix and Amazon video if you'd like to relax indoors, or you could pull up a chair and enjoy some fresh air in the garden. The kitchen is fully equipped and you're more than welcome to cook and eat downstairs.
Cereal and toast etc will also be provided for you to start your day with breakfast before heading out. And for the evenings, there are bathbombs, oil and candles for you to use if you'd like a relaxing soak in the bath. There's also a printer that you can use if needed.
Norfolk park is literally on the doorstep so it's great for a lovely stroll through all the trees, there's s lovely view of the city and a playground if you have little ones.
  • Amazing value for money. We visiting family and watched the park run at Sheffield castle so perfect location. The property was clean, had some nice extra touches like breakfast included, good books to read and had some shower gel in the bathroom.
