Nice place, friendly host, easy to communicate, everything's great! We just slept in and then shop out during the daytime. Maritza provided us fruit, water, milk, cereal and some other basic food for breakfast, which was so nice, saving us time to look for something to eat in the morning.

Maritza and Luis are delightful, accommodating hosts; they were communicative and eager to make us feel at home. The space is fresh, clean, comfortable, and private. I was thrilled to find the kitchenette well equipped; they even stocked the fridge with milk and drinking water, and stocked the pantry with cereals. A bowl of fresh fruit greeted us on the kitchen table. My husband, son, and I were very pleased with our experience and would be honored to stay again the next time we are in the area.

We had a perfect weekend, with perfect hosts, the apartment is clean, beautiful, and most importantly quiet. Last night while getting ready for bed I saw two ambulances go by but never heard the sirens inside. Apartment is exactly as described and convienent for public transport. Host is friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again!!! Thank you so much!

If we come back I wouldn't waste a minute for searching for another apartment. Absolutely perfect hosting and location. Clean house, comfortable beds, most helpful people I've ever met. Public transport (bus) to the heart of Manhattan is about 50 meters from the house. 7eleven is 80 meters, supermarket is about 400 meters.

This was our first airbnb experience, and we were so impressed! The place was clean, and the bed was so nice. I have back issues and it was great to actually sleep through the night, and wake up in the morning and my back not hurt. We were actually disappointed that we couldn't hang out at the place for a longer period of time. Definitely will stay here again.

Ellis was hands down the most warm and welcoming host I've come across on AirBnB! The place was immaculate. The art decor, furniture, and amenities were second to none. They even included some goodies and a bottle of wine. The professionalism was that of a 5 star hotel. I can't speak highly enough seriously....I strongly recommend to anyone looking for a high class and affordable stay in the NY area.

Great little basement apartment. Very flexible with check in and out. Elis was great and easy to get a hold of whenever we needed it. The place was cozy and comfortable and like being in a hotel suite. Wasn't an issue for us but someone tall might have some trouble with low ceilings and shower head.

Great place in a great location

It was my first time with Airbnb, so I honestly wasn't sure what to expect. Daniel was a great host, and a very interesting person to talk to in general. Check-in was smooth, and I got all the information I needed. I felt that my privacy was well respected throughout the stay, and when I needed something specific Daniel was always available. Room is as described, basic but clean and well equipped, with a very comfortable bed. I had a car, but local restaurants and shopping center are within walking distance, as well as the train station. Overall great stay, would definitely come again.

I totally loved the stay with Daniel, the place is clean and quite, Parking was easy, and what we enjoyed the most was Daniel himself, very knowledgeable person, easy to talk to, someone you would keep in contact with, he offered me some special healthy tea that he makes, Loved it, Don't hesitate to stay there :)

Daniel's place is a reasonably priced option for budget travelers in northern NJ. The bed was comfortable and the room was warm, and the location was very convenient for me. Communication with Daniel was great, and everything worked out well.

Tess was a great host! We were arriving around 11:30 pm and she had some water and fruits set out for us. The place itself is spacious and is easy to drive to.

Me and my friend stayed with Tess for two month. She was an amazing host who helped us with everything. By a simple text message or a knock at her door she could answer our questions. Her apartment was perfect for our stay! A cozy place that had all you need. A travel to New York was simple. Bus 161 took you from little Lodi to central NY, Port Authority Bus Terminal, in about 30-50 minutes. The bus stop was a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment. I recommend Tess since she had a great place and was an amazing host! The neighborhood was a really great and calm neighborhood! Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants.

Bad experiance ... The Host is agressive and harsh in talk ... my mistak that I reserved this place more than 60 nights ... After I checked in I found that the ground made from wood ... once my little child 14 months start walking on the ground the host"Tess" start complain too much ... the house is very old made since 1920 ... there is a dog in the home many days keep barking too much at night ... the fridge is very noisy ... every few minutes there is a loud water voice come from the pathroom ... the host cannot control herself while talking to her guest ... the host only can control the rooms heater from her side you cannot control it from your side ... no loundey in home ... Stairs to your appartment is was very difficult to reach your appartment in the 2nd floor... I decided to leave home within few days even I lost more than 1000 USD because the mistake I reserved this place. This place not our standard at all. I don't recommend this place.

Though our paths didn't cross for us to meet in person, Tess was a great host - very communicative, accommodations exactly as described and just right for our college visit trip to NYC and NJ. The neighborhood is quiet, the access simple and parking right in the driveway made it even easier to arrive and depart. Local bus service isn't far - we took the bus in and out one day and drove in/out of the city the 2nd day. Highly recommend!

Tess was a very welcoming host. We were there to tour New York City and found that she had prepared the place for us with a very short notice. Not only is she a great host, but she pays attention to detail as the apartment was spotless and clean. She was able to guide us and truly make us feel at home away from home. I stayed at Tess's for about 5 weeks. I was supposed to stay for 8 but something in my schedule changed and Tess was very accommodating in having me change my reservation. Overall I had a pleasant stay. The location is safe and quiet and very close to grocery, mall, gym, restaurants, nail salons, hair salons, everything you'll need basically. Tess has parking available in her driveway which was super helpful. Also there was a snowstorm and I was out of town and when I came back Tess had cleaned off my car which was very sweet. The house is close to the main roads/highways and quick access to manhattan too. The only things to keep in mind about the place: Thermostat for heating is controlled by Tess. If you're staying in cold months or tend to be on the colder end and need the heat on usually like myself, keep this in mind. You'll need to communicate with Tess when you want the heat on or off and at what temperature. The heat would shut off sometimes due to motion sensing (per what Tess told me), so some days it was way too cold for me and it would be at hours that was too early or late to contact Tess. She got me a space heater to use in these circumstances which was helpful. I saw there's a box AC machine in the bedroom window so if you need the AC in warmer months I think you should be fine if you want to handle the temp yourself there. The other thing to keep in mind is the oven- it wasn't working when I first got there. Tess said she'd have to replace it or get it fixed but after I checked out. She got me a toaster oven to hold me over in the meantime. Just something to keep in mind to inquire the status of if the conventional oven is something that's important to you. Overall I had a pleasant stay and Tess and her family are nice hosts. I'd stay here again and recommend it.

Nihal had wonderful communication from the beginning to the end. I had a tricky schedule and he was more than accommodating with the check-in and check-out. The room was exactly as pictured-- very clean and welcoming. The bed was comfortable, the neighborhood was very safe and family friendly. We were in town for a wedding so it was the perfect place to crash after the reception. I would recommend Nihal's place to anyone!

I would highly recommend Nelly house to stay in. My mam stayed for 5 days and Nelly's friendliness and helpfulness was above & beyond everything. Her place is spotless, and my mam had full use of the house and was able to use her kitchen to cook if she needed it. Her room was a nice size room with plenty of space in it. Nelly and her son made my mam feel very welcome and part of her family from the moment she arrived to the day she left. My mam told me she would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend anybody looking for a place in Lodi or surrounding areas to stay here.

Staying with Sahin and his fiancee Britney was a pleasure. They took me in like a sister and were extremely warm. They offered anything that I needed and did their best to make me feel at home. I enjoyed the great company and the amazing Turkish food they cooked and offered me. The place was very clean and the location was extremely convenient for me. I only wish it was an actual closed door bedroom that was allocated for the guest because that was the impression I was under. However, they really did a fantastic job of enclosing the space and making you feel welcome. I do recommend staying at Sahin and Britney's place.

Zee was an amazing host! She was great making us feel welcomed and we felt very at home. This was my first Airbnb experience and it was throughly enjoyed. Zee's home is in a great little area within East Rutherford. It has an amazing view of the city. She was amazing even offering to show us around! We were lucky we came in on a holiday weekend!

This was my first time Airbnb, and it was a very pleasent experience! We only spend one night and left early in the morning but the house is very clean, we had fresh towels waiting for us and the neighbourhood is quite which is perfect after an exhaustong day in NY. Zee was very nice, she offered us tea and cereal in the morning :) and have us a tip about where to go to see the beautiful skyline of manhattan.All in all a bery positive experience, definetly recommend!!

Everything was awesome! Carlstadt is very close to NYC (about 20 min by bus). Very lovely and clean place with beautiful view to Manhattan. Zee is very hospitable and friendly! She did her best to help us and make our trip comfortable! We went to New York to visit Eminem&Rihanna concert, and we just asked Zee how to get to the MetLife stadium but she suggest drive us overthere and pick up us after concert! Thank you very much Zee! If we visit new York again, I am sure that we will choose Zee's house again! =)
