Steph welcomed us into her home and we had a thoroughly comfortable stay. Her home is newly decorated, very tidy and has all the amenities anyone would need (use of the living room with TV/bathroom/towels/kitchen). Steph was helpful with local information. Her home is quiet and we slept really well. We stayed as a family of four - accommodated by airbeds and one of us slept in the living room - which some people might not like - but it was really just like staying with a friend. The room is perfect for a couple.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed staying with Steph. Her flat was modern, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. It was close to the Leeds Bradford airport, approx 5-10 minutes, which made it very easy for us to catch our early am flight. We liked staying with Steph so much we decided to book another night with her upon our return from Dublin.

Steph was really accommodating and welcoming. I stayed with her for work and she was really able to work around me and it was really appreciated. Her place is very modern with great furnishings (especially the shower). The location is ideal for those wanting a place close to the airport, but also still able to visit Leeds and the neighbouring town of Otley. Her neighbourhood is really quiet and calming too. I'd happily stay again.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay in Trevor's excellently furnished, very modern flat. The apartment is an annex of the main house with its own entrance and set of keys. Trevor was very friendly upon arrival giving us all the information we needed and then left us to our own devices; being on the end of the phone if we ever needed him. The apparent was spotless and had all of the amenities you could need and more. Ilkley itself was also a great place to stay. Having known nothing of the town before booking our stay we found there was lots to do, so much in-fact we might have to come back for another weekend. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the town centre or you can hop on a quick train into Leeds, all of which is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. I would recommend the small but great Ilkley cinema. Tickets are a bit expensive but the comfy sofa seating and great local ales (actually brewed in the town) available more than make up for it. There is also lots of natural beauty with the moors on your doorstep and the Yorkshire dales just down the road.

My girlfriend and I stayed in Trevor's immaculate studio apartment for a long weekend. The apartment is perfectly located within easy walking distance of the town (which has a wide variety of shops and restaurants) and the moor (which provides lovely scenic walks of various distances). The apartment itself was extremely well furnished and very stylish yet cosy and comfortable. Trevor and Christine could not have been more helpful throughout, and the welcome from Trevor on our arrival was very informative! The overall stay was excellent and I would thoroughly recommend the apartment to anyone!

Had a great weekend at The Studio Room- the decor is modern and stylish, it is spotlessly clean and you have everything you need to hand. It is an annexe but feels very private, not overlooked and has a small garden area. We received a friendly welcome from Trevor and Christine when we arrived and appreciated the tea, coffee and milk that they provided. There's a Tesco & M&S foodhall just down the road and it is walking distance to the train station, restaurants and Ilkley town centre shops. We enjoyed a bike ride from the the apartment to Skipton and back, stopping at Bolton Abbey. Loads of nice places to eat nearby- we ate at the Box Tree (fancy) and Ilkley Vaults (great pub food) and had a good cup of coffee at La Stazione. Lovely relaxed and peaceful weekend :)

Had a great 2 night stay in the studio. Great location and lovely place to stay. Loved the small touches such as the slippers on the bed and the blanket on the sofa which was great to curl up in in front of the fire. Will be staying again.

Great place in a superb location

The Studio is the perfect weekend bolthole! Within a short walking distance of Ilkley town centre and of Ilkley Moor, the space was spotlessly clean and luxuriously appointed. It is close to all amenities, and yet feels like an exclusive and very cosy escape. Trevor is also the most amenable of hosts! Thoroughly recommended.

Amazing. I booked Trevors place for my boyfriends Christmas present and I'm so glad I did. The apartment is immaculate and designed beautifully. The little touches such as the toiletries were fabulous and something that puts this place above many other air bnb experiences I have had. Trevor was warm and welcoming and very much left us to our own devices with him being only a phonecall away.

This is a very well and high spec'd apartment, perhaps because it's fairly new, it certainly delivers a wow factor. Kathryn was very welcoming and had provided us with some doggy towels and blankets and she so kindly allowed us to bring our dogs for our stay. Kathryn also had some doggy walk information to hand, which we found very useful. The apartment has everything you'll need to have a great stay and Kathryn is only upstairs if you should need anything else. The apartment is very located for the local shops, bars and is perfect for walks up the Moor or like us, further afield and the coast and lake district. All in all we had a great stay despite the great British weather and would happily return and recommend to others.

A really comfortable and welcoming home, which was in the heart of the village

Description was very accurate. I think that the photos did not do it justice! Beautifully decorated, well equipped kitchen, cosy and warm, lovely postition. Kathryn gave us a very warm welcome too.

The property is very close to the Dales as well as numerous shops and transport links. Everything is finished to a very high standard.

We had a lovely few days stay - the apartment was very comfortable, clean and well equipped. It suited us well being close to walk to shops, restaurants and the moor but with good bike rides from the door available. Kathryn pointed us in the direction of the local bike shop and had obtained some information about routes for us. She was very helpful and prompt to my enquirers before and during our visit. We would certainly consider visiting again.

Great location a few hundred yards from the centre; parking was plentiful in the evening; spacious flat, dining area and kitchen (with honesty box for selection of beers and wine / tea / coffee / milk); plenty of towels etc for the morning.

This place is a gem....a beautiful, light, Edwardian villa with high ceilings slap bang in the centre of Ilkley, close to the railway station and beautifully appointed with everything you could wish for...even some beers / wine (honesy box) , jams, milk, pod coffee.... It's genuinely one of the best AirBnBs we've ever stayed in. Thoughtful touches were the chocolate bunnies which the kids enjoyed (thanks), books, DVDs and all the 'basics'. Many thanks!

I will try to write a simple review but my mind chatterings as a writer will have to reflect how I saw all from my eyes as well as my heart. Having walked from the train station to the house which is less than 10 minutes especially if you have a border collie leading the way! Located just below the beautiful Moor, set in between mature trees, it's a gorgeous location, a passage to the dales, the hill to arrive to the house fits the description a cyclists home in the Dales. Using the word tardis on a review is the first time I do but in this flat you could definitely feel been the Dr even if you are not. It just opens up and up to more and more spaces. Lovely place and lovely cozy room with the birds singing outside the window. And it was all ready... Super comfy bed too!! Katherine is a lovely, sweet and intelligent girl as well as a triathlete which made an impression to me when I first saw the listing. Loved talking to her. And Neo loved her was there straight for cuddles. My heart felt at home and I was relaxed almost straight away. Been able to use the kitchen too meant a lot for someone that loves cooking. You will love staying here and exploring the dales and Yorkshire.

A very positive first experience of Airbnb. Kat encouraged us to make ourselves at home and provided all the information we needed. Her home is exactly as described, spacious, comfortable and full of period grace and solidity. The area is quiet and well appointed and a few minutes walk from town. There is ample unrestricted parking so we left our car for the four days we are walking. Kat was away when we stayed; my partner felt odd staying in someone's home in their absence but that is the key to Airbnb; trust and mutual respect. We will definitely book with Airbnb again and if we were in Ilkley we would happily book Kat's Cyclist's home in The Dales.

This place is really beautiful, practically and much better than expected. David and Geraldine's place is something very special. The furnishings, lighting, and decor are beautiful, and the apartment is warm, comfortable, very well equipped, and with lovely views from the top floor. It was like staying in a luxury hotel suite, with complete privacy. Bed, shower, sofas etc are high quality, even down to the hotel-grade bedding and towels. Location is fab for bars, restaurants and shopping. I didn't do any walking this time, but there's lot to be had! Arrival and departure was easy, and my hosts were incredibly welcoming. Highly recommended; I will certainly be back.

Just home from a wonderful weekend on Ilkley at David and Geraldine's apartment. This is the first time we have stayed Airbnb and could not have been more impressed. The communication beforehand and on the arrival day was great. We were warmly welcomed by our hosts and given lots of helpful information about the flat and the surrounding area. The flat is ideally located for the town centre which has a brilliant selection of places to eat and drink. We parked up on Friday and didn't need to drive anywhere. Saturday we walked through Middleton Woods onto Addingham for lunch then back along the river. Sunday we took on the Moor which was challenging, but the views were stunning. The apartment is beautifully presented, lovely decor, quality bedding and towels, and our hosts left us milk, tea and coffee and checked up by text a number of times to make sure we were ok. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to walk in this lovely town and hope we will be back soon.

A really lovely place to stay, very convenient location close to the station and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops (although those looking for absolute peace and quiet should be aware there is a bit of traffic noise from the main road). Interior beautifully done and super cosy with easy-to-operate fire and lots of cushions and throws on comfy furniture. Was ideal for us on a rather wet weekend! Hosts friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing weekend as guests at The Hermit! Gill and Richard are amazing hosts. They will literally 'go the extra mile' to ensure your stay goes smoothly. Lovely little place in a beautiful setting. Was pleasantly greeted and shown around by Gill. About a five minute drive from the beautiful town of likely. I would deffo stay again.

We had a lovely time at the Hermit and Gill and her husband, and the staff, could not have been more welcoming or helpful. It's a fantastic location for exploring Yorkshire if you want to be in the countryside and only a short drive to surrounding villages. We had a wonderful hike over the moors to Leeds and enjoyed the real ales and the hospitality in the Hermit! Thank you Gill, it was great to meet you and stay there.

This is our second stay here as it is so greatly set up for us to visit with our (many) children. Friendly staff, pretty location and its good to be able to have tesco shop delivered in advance of our arrival. Thanks, we will be back (if you will have us!)

Really enjoyed staying here. The pub is nice and homely and does not impinge in any way on the flat above. And the beer is good! The flat is spacious and comfortable although the kitchen could do with some tlc. Access from car park to door necessitates a very precarious 10 metre walk round a no see bend, on a not too busy road, and isn't to be recommended if the pub door is open. I wouldn't let this put me off as our stay was great and Gill, the perfect host.

My family had a great stay above the pub - plenty of room for all of us and Gill was very helpful and provided everything we needed. It was handy to just pop down to the pub for food and drinks and the location was lovely.

Came back to Yorkshire for a 40th birthday and to show off the joys of Ilkley and Otley. The pod is very well placed and we had a nice stroll into Ilkley centre. Our host was fantastic with lots of info and ready to help in any way. We felt very welcome and like we had a nice little adventure in our pod, being joined by the odd rabbit for company.

Mechele was the ideal host and made us feel very welcome! There was a change of plan and we actually stayed in a private room but we were given lots of notice. The room was really lovely and comfortable with an en-suite and facilities for making tea/coffee. Mechele was very friendly and provided a fantastic breakfast and good conversation. The location was also ideal, just a 10 minute walk into Ilkley. We had a great weekend and would definitely come back again!

Mechele couldn't have been a better host. There was a slight change in arrangements, we were offered a private room instead of the self-contained flat she also lets, but it was very comfortable and we were given good notice a couple of weeks before. Her house is only ten minutes walk or less along the river into town. Excellent breakfast and good conversation. Thanks!

Lovely place and great value

Really nice studio flat! Perfect area for our stay with shops and supermarkets literally down the road. Uber only cost £5 on a Saturday night! Check in was super easy and fitted to suit us. We will definitely stay again next time we're in Leeds!

Nuren was great. She was helpful and responsive to questions I had before my visit, and she was very welcoming on my arrival. I enjoyed chatting with her. Her place was conveniently located, comfortable and reasonably priced. I needed a place to stay before an 8 am flight from Leeds Bradford Airport that was not too far from downtown Leeds. I took a taxi from just south of Leeds center to her place in the evening (which cost 15.50 GBP -- although the taxi driver frustratingly didn't have the correct change and I ended up paying 17.75 GBP). Nuren arranged for a taxi to pick me up at 6 am to take me to the airport, which was less than 15 minutes away (that cost 12.70 GBP). So her place is a great stopover for those heading to the airport.

Nuren's home is just as described. It was a warm and welcoming home away from home . The bed and pillows are super comfy and the shower floor is delightful! We were both so busy and tired that we didn't meet but Nuren's books and souvenirs give a sense of the open and interesting lady she is. Delightful case of spare toiletries too!

Had a lovely stay again with Nuren - she remains lovely and welcoming and the perfect host!

We were made to feel extremely welcome by Nuren & very much enjoyed meeting her & staying in her home for 3 nights in July 2014. The double bedroom was bright, comfortable & spacious & sharing a bathroom with her was absolutely no problem as a lot of the time Nuren was out & about. The location was so peaceful, in a very green setting yet just minutes from Headingley High St. We were invited to help ourselves to breakfast cereals or eggs, tea, coffee etc so felt very at home. She even left a gift for our son & daughter-in-law whose new home we were helping to decorate during our stay, how thoughtful is that! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Nuren as a host.

Abdul was a very friendly and welcoming host, who had written me a lovely welcome message. He made sure I had all I needed, and we had a nice talk about our medical jobs. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, and have breakfast as well. The bed is very comfortable, with an electric blanket. There is free parking across the street, very convenient! I'd definitely stay with Abdul again if I go back to Leeds. :)

Nuren is a very nice and helpful person. Leeds centre can be reached very quickly by public transport. I would recommend this place because it is quite, comfortable and I felt immediately well and welcome.

I had a great stay with Laima and her very cute cat. Laima is nice and welcoming while giving you your private space. The apartment and its location rather relate to business trips and holidays. The room has its own small bathroom which is nice. Bradford is a little far to be reached on foot but you can easily go there by bus (bus only 10min). This could be a lovely apartment if there was more information given to help guests to use appliances, obtain hot water and use tv. Decoration tired. One or two health and safety issues - no stair gate for young children, no handle or bath safety mat for elderly or infirm guests.

My friends and I had a great stay in Leeds. It is a lovely, tidy appartment in a nice quiet area. Local shops and a chain pub were only a short walk away, on street parking was easy and it was a quick taxi journey to and from the centre of town. Overall the experience was problem free and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
