Scenic Viewpoint
“A must do whilst in Apollo Bay and only a couple of minutes drive from the property and its free. You get a beautiful view of the whole bay and it is an excellent spot for panoramic photos. Drive to the top of the hill, park your car and have an easy short walk the rest of the way along a meandering path. Anytime of day is good to go but sunset when you can see the twinkling lights of apollo bay is my favourite. Please note there are no rubbish bins or toilets on this private site please take any rubbish home with you. ”

Restaurant
“Consistently great food. Located just off the Main Street, but enter the building and it’s like a hidden city restaurant. Serving Italian style food, with homemade pasta, gourmet pizza, risotto as well as great Steak, duck and pork. They use locally caught crayfish (lobster) and fish in their daily specials. Open every night, dinner served until 9pm. Great wine list and cocktails too. ”

Museum
“The museum is open at Saturdays and Sundays, public holidays and school holidays from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and at other times by prior arrangement for group visits. It includes displays of relics from some of the shipwrecks and ships that were essentially the primary means of access before the Great Ocean Road and of the life of what was an extremely isolated community.”

“Our local Pub and Bistro, one of the many places you can find a Parma in town. Usual beers on tap and big screens in the beer garden and bistro to watch the game. TIP: If you're a people watcher, this is where you need to be- stay long enough and you'll see the local characters come out. ”

Food
“This is a great place to pull up to for good fish and chips. You can sit outside on the marina, its well serviced and overlook the fishing boats and the bay. The serve lobsters, fresh fish and great chips, pickled onions, dim sims and potato cakes, good Australian fare. Cost is usually very reasonable. You will find it just pass the town if coming from Melbourne. Go past the golf course and look out for the signs.”
