This place is lovely! Dominique made our check in very easy and she was so sweet. The entire home is very clean, charming and the room is spacious. The bed is very comfortable and comes with plenty of blankets and pillows for a good night's sleep. The location is in the outskirts of Bordeaux - we had a car so it wasn't a problem, but I can't speak on the public transportation in the area. I wish we could have visited longer here and won't hesitate to stay here again!

Ce studio est tout simplement parfait..! Proche du tram dans un quartier calme, décoré avec goût, très fonctionnel, on s'y sent tout de suite chez soit et surtout, tenu par une personne des plus accueillante, aux petits soins pour ses invités. My friend and I spent a wondful day/night in the small chalet. Robert was very welcoming, offering to buy in basics such as milk, eggs, and bread. The place itself was as described - a calm and comfortable place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer! I fully recommend this chalet to anyone travelling near Bordeaux.

A great retreat from Bordeaux! Conveniently located around and near the vineyards, Robert's dwelling is very charming and thoughtfully done! He was extremely kind and welcoming, and even stocked the fridge with waters, snacks, and breakfast ingredients. Highly recommend, would stay again!

We felt very welcome when arriving and Robert quickly helped us settle in. He answered our questions and also gave us great recommendations for local places to eat. The accommodations were clean, tidy and well thought-out. He's gone above and beyond to make his guests' stay comfortable. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer!

Le logement est spacieux, au calme, décoré avec soin. Il se trouve au fond du jardin du propriétaire, à l'écart de la maison de propriétaire. Très bien situé à 15 minutes du centre de Bordeaux. Robert avait tout prévu pour notre arrivée (boissons dans le frigo et produits pour petit déjeuner...) Logement et propriétaire au top. Je recommande ;)

A great place to stay if you're travelling by car. Bordeaux is a beautiful city and we met Paola in the evening who was a lovely host!

Comfortable stay in Paola's room. Conveniently located near the highway for travelers. Good value for the price. Communication was excellent and Paola is a very nice host.

I'm traveling with my 12 years old son in France for a tennis Tournament and we booked Paola's place. We were extremely happy and lucky to fine her very lovely, friendly and very helpful. The place had everything that we needed, it was very clean and the most important it was very close to where we needed to be. As a welcome gift we got a bottle of French wine that I really enjoyed. Her hospitality did not end with that, Paola also offer us a tour to Bordeaux and a ride to the bus station. I would definitely recommend if you have a chance to stay with Paola and experience her amazing hospitality. We for sure will come back soon. Elisabeth was very friendly and interactive. She offered coffees kindly. Her house was super clean and well equipped. The has a private shower room and a vanity top. Parking is available inside house. Spacious living area with fire place. Distance to Bordeaux is 15 M by car. Chatau de Raulliac is 400m away for your visiting and tasting (8 Euro per person) I strongly recommend this house to all. Thank you Elisabeth!

Accueil très chaleureux, chambre agréable, très propre et calme , le tout conforme à la description. Le sourire , la gentillesse et la disponibilité d'Elisabeth rendent encore plus agréable ce court séjour, mais nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

La maison est très bien située et Elisabeth m'a très bien accueillie. Je suis restée 5 nuits et j'avais un trousseau de clé. La chambre et sa salle de bain sont très confortables. Il y a une porte entrée à côté de la chambre et une jolie vue sur la piscine (même si je ne l'ai pu la tester en novembre, bien sûr). Je recommande cette maison. The apartament is in a nice and quiet neighborhood, Philippe was helpful and accomodating.

Philippe made us very welcome and comfortable. The listing details are accurate. The flat is located just outside the Bordeaux ring road (la Rocade), which means it is much greener and quieter than the city itself. Gradignan, the village, was an unexpected bonus, with lovely walks through parkland, interesting local buildings and sites (e.g. 12th century priory) and a theatre/concert hall. The city is very interesting and full of beautiful places, e.g. the Jardin Public, the Grand Theatre, the Museum of Contemporary Art (CAPC) . There is a lot going on, and there are good systems to let people know what is happening every day. (We went to three concerts and a number of exhibitions). Outside the city we went to three wine growing regions, and the coast. Bordeaux has excellent integrated transport - we travelled in to the city by tram (very convenient and inexpensive); bikes are available for hire at trade stops and elsewhere.

Philippe was very welcoming and accommodating. The space that was provided was very spacious and well equipped. Sitting on the balcony and looking over Chateau Pouney's vineyard on a late summer's afternoon was very relaxing and very beautiful. It was exactly what we needed. We could have easily stayed there a few more days.

We enjoyed our stay in Philippe's apartment very much, and we loved sitting on the balcony with that beautiful view. It was exactly as described, and Philippe was a very nice host. It was in a great location to explore Bordeaux and the wine regions. Would stay there again happily.

Very easy to write a review about our rental in Bordeaux, a beautiful apt overlooking a small vineyard and a beautiful chateau, the location is in a small town 40 mins by bus from Bordeaux city centre but do not let this put you off as the service is excellent, the town itself is very quiet but again full of all the necessary amenities required, Philippe met us at the apt and even thou our French was non exsistent PHilippe made us feel very welcome and gave us a full breakdown of all the apts facilities without the help of any English. The apt was spotless and had everything expected, can not compliment it enough. A joy to stay in.

Philippe was a great host. He met us late in the evening when we arrived from the airport and let us into the apartment. The apartment was very nice, clean, just like in the photos. The location of the apartment was great, the balcony overseeing a Chateau and a vineyard. Philippe gave us the keys, he also helped us in the beginning by suggesting where to buy small groceries, etc. Gradignan, the town where the apartment is located is pretty close to Bordeaux. You would either need a car to get around, or there are buses that would take you to the tram station, on which you can easily reach downtown Bordeaux. I would wholeheartedly recommend Philippe as a host, and Philippe's apartment, to anyone who wants to enjoy the quiet atmosphere of a very nice French small town, and at the same time be close to Bordeaux, and also the the Ocean (45-60 min by car, depending on where in the Arcachon basin you want to go). We spent a very enjoyable night here. Virginie and her family were very friendly and welcoming hosts and were very accommodating with our dog. The room was beautifully furnished and equipped. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Almost a hotel experience, in a positive way. They even had little hotel slippers for us :) Friendly and helpful couple who wants you to feel at home and let you use the kitchen. A lot of parks all around and private rooms with a shower and toilet. Bus to the centre of Bordeaux is 10 minutes walk away, busride takes about 45 minutes (1.50 euros). Oh and you dont see it on the pictures, but the bamboo bed has a big tv hanging from the ceiling that you could watch with your head in sleeping position ;) Go there! :)

Our stay at Virginie's was really great. The rooms were nice, spacious and clean. We even had our own bathroom. Her family was really nice and we had a warm welcome with a drink. The village is small but friendly. It was a good overnight stay, definitely reccomend it!

Very welcoming family first of all. The room is perfect for two people, spacious as well as the bathroom. We were offered the breakfast as well. The place, although not in Bordeaux city center is well connected and it is immersed in the green. Therefore I do recommend this place!

My second stay at Virginie's place, and once again everything was really good. A very nice contact, a good bed in a perfectly quiet location, safe parking and dog friendly. Merci, Virginie, and looking forward to another stay.

Everything was perfect! The place is exactly as described in the pictures. The house is situated in a very quiet and green part of Gradignan, a very pleasant town, absolutely safe area. Virginie and her boyfriend were fantastic hosts, we were allowed to use the house if it was ours. Our dog was very welcomed as well and had a huge garden to run around. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedroom was very comfy and clean. We would definitley come again.
