The instructions where very clear and easy to follow. The studio is very charming. The bed is comfortable. The studio is as described and there are no surprises. I would recommend to friends and family and would come stay here again if the opportunity presents itself.

Paul is so welcoming. He suggested a few activities for our son such as the County Fair and let us explore his property. He left us a stocked fridge so we didn't even need to go shopping. It is so much better for us as a family to stay in this kind of setting as opposed to a hotel.

Paul was a terrific host. He stockpiled the fridge with food and drinks, gave us useful info on the surrounding area, including walks and drives, and made our stay pleasant and convenient. He's also a very interesting guy to talk to.

My boyfriend and I were very pleased with Paul's apartment. The full kitchen, equipped with utensils and cookware, was perfect for making breakfast, lunch, and even dinner. There was air conditioning and toiletries if you forgot something! The reception for cellular data wasn't the best, but it encouraged us not to be on our phones as much so that was probably more of a positive! The neighborhood was all farmland and it was very beautiful and quiet. The property was very safe and homey. As a host, Paul was very kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable but also let us have our privacy. He is very nice - a great person to converse with, and we are glad we had the chance to meet him. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! And of course Beau Lily was as sweet as a dog can be!!

When you stay with Paul, you're his family. It is home away from home. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly. He enjoys people. The facility was very clean, well-equipped and the ambience was great. We had a very pleasant stay at the lake view apartment. We particularly enjoyed the lakefront deck, with its shade umbrella, kayaks, and swim toys. The apartment is an older-style one, furnished and equipped accordingly. The HD cable TV with Bose sound was excellent, and the main bed was very comfortable!

The house is absolutely cute and nice. Betsy was very welcoming and helpful telling us where to go and what to do. We had a really great weekend.

Our experience at Bob and Betsy's was beautiful and very relaxing. The apartment is above the garage, very specious and perfect for a family or two couples. We visited with our friends, so having separate bedrooms was a plus. The living and kitchen areas are also nice and cozy. The kitchen is fully equipped so you can cook. The town is away from the crowded Lake George village which is exactly what we were looking for. They allow you to use their deck behind their house which opens up on the lake. The mornings and evenings are gorgeous. We spent a great amount of time sun bathing and having drinks on their deck. Both Betsy and Bob are very nice, social and inviting couple. We felt like we were staying at our relative's place. They also invited us to go out on their boat to watch fireworks but due to weather we couldn't go. All in all, we had a great time staying with them and we would love to go back and spend more time at their beautiful place.

We loved Michael's apartment! We stayed to break up a long drive home after snowboarding in VT. Not a large place but you have a private bathroom and your own kitchen. We will definitely stay there again if it's available next time we are up that way. We had breakfast at Spektor Coffee Roasters in Glens Falls and definitely recommend eating there!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Micheal's place to break up a long day of driving. The room was exactly what we needed. Michael was great, and very understanding of us arriving later than we expected. He took his time to show us around even though it was getting quite late. The room was super cozy, clean and comfortable. Private bathroom and kitchenette was a plus. Would recommend to anyone!

We loved our stay at the cozy cottage. Michael was incredibly responsive through the entire process and the property was very accurately described. We loved the proximity to the lake and things to do in the area. The dock was great and we loved relaxing, fishing and swimming there. The simplicity of the cottage was exactly the type of escape from our daily routine that we were looking for. Just one note, the nice new shower is very small. My husband and I are average size so it wasn't a problem for us but I could imagine it being for others. If you are looking for a peaceful, simple lake getaway, look no further.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Cozy Cottage for four days and it was everything we imagined and more. The interior of the house is quaint and cute. Perfect for a lake house. It had everything we needed. The dock was a million dollar view. You can't beat it. We spent the days and nights enjoying it together and felt more relaxed leaving than we expected. The kayak was a perfect touch, especially for the one day we had overcast and didn't know what we wanted to do. Lake George Village is super close but was far enough away we didn't feel the hustle and bustle. Michael was very communicative and helpful the entire stay. Everything was perfect!

The cozy cottage was just perfect for our long weekend getaway! The house and it's amenities were exactly as advertised. Michael meet us at the house and gave us the tour. He made it very clear that he is around if we needed him. The house is roomy enough to have your own quiet corner if you want, but cozy enough to enjoy family time. Having the BBQ and screened in porch were a huge plus. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. As another reviewer mentioned, the beautiful new shower is a bit tiny and could be an issue for some. My husband is 6'2" and he was a little cramped. The dock was where we spent most of our time. There are plenty of floats, chairs and life jackets as well as a kayak and large water float that my kids were towing around the lake. And don't forget to bring down the potable radio and plug it into the shed! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip and will be returning to the cozy cottage!

The Cozy Cottage on Lake George was just perfect for our relaxing long weekend! Michael was a stellar host; communicative and accommodating. He even left us ( 2!) bottles of wine that surely started out our lake/woodland getaway off in the right direction! There are plenty of things to do in the area but we ended up spending most of our time sitting on the beautiful, quiet dock either in full sun or under the umbrella, floating in the refreshing water or paddling around on the kayak. The house was just the right scale, very cool and tucked away under the canopy. The living spaces and two bedrooms accommodated three adults well with very comfy furniture and beds. We spent some evenings on the screened in porch and used the grill for most meals. We surely want to return to this little gem of a spot on Lake George. Thank you for the hospitality!

The stay at Michael's cozy cottage was fantastic! Michael was great - he met us at check in, check out and was very responsive. We loved the dock and spent long days there swimming and enjoying the sun. We grilled dinners at night and had them on the screened in porch. I would highly recommend this property!

Our family couldn't have asked for a better stay at the "Cozy Cottage!" Michael was there to greet us and welcome us when we areived. He even stocked up the fridge for us and our kids (water, soda, juice, beer, wine), what a nice touch, we were so appreciative. The cottage itself is so quaint and cozy sitting up on the hill leaving some peekaboo water views overlooking Lake George! The selling point for sure is the quick walk down to the dock. We would gather up our things and hang on the dock for hours with the kids! It has the most breathtaking views and a spectacular sunset every night. There were plenty of chairs and floats for adults and kids, we even enjoyed using the kayak! The house worked perfectly for our family. It is super clean and extremely well maintained. Can't wait to book it again and come back soon! We have found our go to Lake George cottage!

I highly recommend staying at Kate's place if you're ever visiting Lake George or the surrounding area!! Two of my best friends and I stayed over the weekend during the Winter Carnival and we had a blast! Kate was an exceptional host and she is SO NICE! The house is spacious and immaculate- it's much bigger than it looks from the pictures, I was pleasantly surprised! It's a very short walk to a private beach area and the views of the lake and mountains are absolutely gorgeous. It's very close to everything- about an 8 minute drive to the town of Lake George and there's also tons of hiking trails near by! Kate recommended The Pinnacle trail which was really fun! We also went to the Adirondack Winery & Lake George Beach Club which is minutes away from this house. Even in the winter time there's plenty to do here! Kate, thank you for everything!!!

Kate was very welcoming when we first got there as she was waiting to show us around the place. Unfortunately my girlfriend and I were shocked to realize that this listing was not on the water as the pictures showcased a beautiful deck and made it look like we would be on the water but after reading the description it did say the water was 250 yards from the house even though the pictures showed otherwise. The place was newly remodeled and very neatly kept with a big space so that was nice. After going to the beach we also realized that the "shared" beach area described in the listing was actually a public park with public parking which wasn't stated in the description. My girlfriend and I still tried to make the best of everything even after all this however on our last day the plumping was having trouble and Kate called to ask us to no longer use any water and that there were public restrooms down by the beach we could use. Then when we brought up the point about the place not being on the beach to Kate and the pictures showing otherwise she tried offering more explanations than sympathies or apologies and we were also asked to be "gracious" in our review which I didn't think was appropriate knowing how Airbnb works on honesty. Overall the place was not worth the price we paid as it was $185/night when we stayed.

We had a great stay here! We did not get a chance to meet Kate- mostly because of our busy schedule, but she was as warm and welcoming as possible. We had everything we needed and the water is very close! I'd recommend anyone stay here if they want a calm and well styled apartment on Lake George. Thanks for everything!

We were very pleased with the apt. It looks exactly as described in the photos and text. It was very clean and it was great to have the linens and towels provided. Since this stay was in November of course we did not use any of the waterfront features but it is a great summer location or even for some of the Winter activities on the lake. We would stay again for sure.

We stayed in this apartment in late Jan 2017. We found it to be exactly as described, and the location was very nice to downtown Lake George. The room was clean, and the kitchen was nicely stocked with all the essentials. There are 2 large beds in the bedroom, and extra pillows and bedding was on hand. The bathroom was just fine, and again, there were extra towels and linens provided which was nice. Our communication with Robert (the owner) was very pleasant and easy. He was very quick to respond to any communication we initiated which was nice. We would certainly stay here again.

my friends and I stayed during the off season and were pleasantly surprised when we had the entire property to ourselves. the view from the dock is serene and pleasant and the apartment was cozy and accommodating. would absolutely stay again when back in Lake George.

The host was very nice and messaged several times to check that we got in okay, and that everything was in order. He also provided some hiking suggestions. The apartment is very well put together, has plenty of space, and a nice kitchen and wifi and modern amenities. There's a grocery store two blocks away. The location is in a suburban sort of neighborhood, just a couple streets away from town. It's easy to walk to the lake and to multiple restaurants. It is not rustic or remote or isolated.

John and Carol made us feel welcome once we arrived. Once we entered the apartment, we had a fully set dining table, air conditioning to keep the apt nice and cool, and local Saranac beers with a sign saying "Welcome to Lake George from your hosts John and Carol." There was also two bottles of wine to us to enjoy. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. We felt right at home. We loved the apartment so much and would love to rent again in the future. The location was great and we walked almost everywhere.

It was exactly what we expected. It was close to town and we love the ability to be able to walk into town and do what we want. It gave us both the opportunity to eat in and eat out every night and we liked how close it was to the lake as well.

John's place was terrific. Honestly, the photos didn't do it justice. It's a wonderful apartment - clean, well-designed, cozy and easily accessible. There's a great living room and a very pretty bathroom with a very large shower that I didn't see in the photos and was pleasantly surprised to discover. It was a perfect spot for Lake George - cozy, only two blocks away from the water, shops and the main street. John was a great host as well - the place was spotless when we got there - it felt like a hotel. And John even left us two bottles of wine and a few samples from the local brewery. Delicious. It was a very Classic Italian style suite. Kimberly has very good taste of the decoration. We were amazed by how fancy it was! It's perfect for 2-3 people, but not a big group. It was not a two bedroom suite, but one bedroom- one room is the living room/kitchen, and one room is the bedroom. But Kim and Jonathan were very friendly and the dog was sooooo cute!

Kimberly, her family and her beautiful B&B were a lifesaver for us this past weekend. After a cancelled trip they were able to accommodate us at the last minute. Our suite was very intimate and romantic, beautifully decorated and stocked with everything. Private bathroom, air Only 2 blocks from a supermarket, 2 blocks from the main strip and 2 blocks from the base of the mountain and the hiking trail.... this location is PERFECT. The breakfast nook was great and if you enjoy conversing with Kimberly, her family or other guests this is a great time to socialize. Forget staying at a motel, just head here and be happy, you'll thank me later. My only gripe is that our stay was too short! We will definitely be back! My husband and I spent the weekend at Michele's place, in lieu of the pricey options in the area, to attend our friends' wedding at the Sagamore Hotel. We were first time Airbnb users, so we were a little hesitant, but it turned out to be the BEST decision we could have made. The location could not be beat, the space was impeccably clean (felt brand new), and the general feel was cozy and perfect for an autumn wedding, weekend getaway. We would 100% highly recommend working with Michele- she and her place are absolutely fantastic. If we are ever back in the area, this will be the place we stay! Hope you enjoy!

Michele made us feel really at home. She left towels and extra sheets with coffee and milk for the morning. I love my coffee in the morning so that was a big deal for me :) thanks, Michele!! The loft was cute and felt really spacious. Four of us stayed for two nights and were comfortable. We had a back yard view of the forest and it was beautiful. The location was remote but just a short ride away from the town of lake george. It felt like a real vacation getaway - just what we wanted. If I'm ever in the area again and want a peaceful getaway Michele's loft will be my first choice!

Everything about this location and our host was amazing. Michele was very helpful as we had a reservation issue before our stay. She promptly addressed this with AirBNB and made sure that we were able to get everything taken care of to not impact our plans. She kept in contact with me up until the date of check in and let me know where I could find what we needed upon our arrival. Check in and check out was flexible which was extremely helpful. We got lost (due to Siri) and Michele checked in to make sure we arrived after asking her for assistance in finding the address. The space itself was perfect. Michele clearly takes great care of this property and it shows. The appliances were all up to date. The space was very clean and well put together. It had the perfect homey feel to it. The extra supplies proved to be helpful as well. If in the area we will definitely visit this location again. It is surprisingly close to the strip but provides the possibility of a private getaway as well. Overall- absolutely amazing experience.

A great spot for my husband and I to enjoy a weekend away. Under 2 minutes from Bolton Landing, which was adorable. The owner had coffee and milk for us, very comfortable linens and a clean, updated space. We were very happy with our stay and would come back again. Plenty of space if we had brought our kids.

Great experience. An entire floor to yourself that leads out a spacious covered porch. Steps away from the dock & the lake. They have tons of water equipment available to help you enjoy the water (tubes, kayaks, paddleboat, etc). The indoor area is spacious & has a sizeable satellite TV. There is a small kitchenette stocked with dishware in case you want to cook (& propane grill outside). Microwave, coffee maker & toaster too. No cell service but good wifi. Toiletries & towels provided in the restroom. Approximately a 15 minute drive to nearest stores in case you need something. Big thanks to our hosts for showing us around the lake on their boat too. About a 4hr drive from Manhattan. Perfect getaway from the stifling heat of the city.

Linda's lakehouse is a wonderful place if you want to relax and watch amazing sunsets from the waterfront deck. It's located on a pristine lake, with private access straight from the living room. It's also a great place to have fun water activities like swimming and kayaking. Pedal boats and tubes were also available for us to use. The house is well equipped with everything we needed, from kitchen gadgets to soft towels. The beds were very comfortable, and ceiling fans in every room kept the place cool. Linda and her husband Bill are most gracious hosts. With their natural friendliness and great sense of humor, they made us feel at home, and were extremely helpful. They even helped us get a fire started in the outdoor fire pit. Communication with Linda was easy and clear. We will definitely come back.

We all - 4 adults, a 4-year-old and a baby - had a fantastic stay at Sunset Way! Linda could not have been kinder, and did everything she could to make sure we had a great time. The fruit and drinks in the fridge when we arrived were a real treat! Linda and Bill are great fun, and we really enjoyed meeting them! The location is super, and the boats, bbq, and garden are perfect family entertainment.

Linda and Bill were genuinely kind hosts who welcomed us like we were old friends. My wife and I had wonderful time at their place which was better than it is described ( of course catching perfectly good weather like we did helped instill wonderful memories in retrospect). My spouse and I can't wait to go back when the opportunity permits. That wanting to go back, as much as their place and the wonderful lake setting contributed to that urge, was primarily a function of their kindness of spirit and easy going nature. They made us feel that their home was our home for the few days we were there. Simply put, they have the right place, and more importantly, the right stuff that great hosts and friends are a made of.

Linda provided every thing we could ever imagine needing or wanting. She was helpful with directions and when we arrived it was clear where we needed to park how to get down to the space we were staying. The space was not only an indoor space but an outdoor living space which was absolutely awesome . There was a gas grill ,prepping space for food a little refrigerator, a cubby with utensils and plates and glasses anything you would need to cook with . There were tons of places to sit in this outside space . There was a fire pit, a long dock you could walk on with kayaks, a rowboat and a dock further out that you could cannonball off of . There was fantastic views of Lake Cossayuna complete with a family of ducks, nesting bald eagles , birds everywhere on the feeders, it was so cool. Linda and Bill were amazing hosts we got to chat with them the night we got there and then on Saturday and they told us a brief history of the lake and we just chitchatted for a while and got a special boat ride on their pontoon which is really extremely cool of them and not expected . The neighborhood was chill and quiet, there were some people waterskiing , jet skiing , fishing . The house was comfortable with Ceiling fans, a large screen TV with the million channels again tons of places to sit and sleep . There was a futon, a blowup mattress, and a separate bedroom with two full beds. Linda thinks of everything: toiletries(just in case), towels, there's a toaster , coffee maker , microwave , real dishes inside & another refrigerator , cook stove and oven . We look forward to staying here again next year! It was so relaxing and we all felt totally at home! We miss it already

The photos do not do justice to how idyllic the lake views are from the porch and the boat dock. Each morning we had coffee/tea on the deck followed by a canoe row from the dock. And each night we went back to the dock for star gazing. There is also a fire pit and chairs near the dock. The cottage is spacious with plenty of room for 8 of us. Only one bathroom was a bit limiting for 8, but we weren't in any hurry. We are eager to return next fall.
