Fabulous house, within walking distance of village and close to lots of interesting historic sites and beaches.

A beautiful cottage in a quiet cul de sac. Barry's house is a home from home, equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay. We had barbqeus on a few nights and ate outside. Plenty of dvds for the grown-ups and games for the kids. We even lit the fire at night! Perfect for families. Close to the village and a great location for visiting wexford. We visiting hook lighthouse, jfk park, dunbrody Abbey and maze and numerous beaches. I would definitely go back again!

We enjoyed our stay at Barry's house Patty was efficient and friendly for check in and out and all the information we needed for our stay. I would return to it in the future if looking for accommodation in Fethard. The house is well equipped and just a short walk from the village.

We would recommend this lovely cottage, which is homely but very tastefully decorated. The house is very well kitted out and we just had to sit back and relax. The house is close to the village and loads of lovely beaches. You can hire bikes, and book a morning paddle boarding or kayaking from a shop in the village. All in all we had a fun, relaxing and enjoyable week in this cute house by the sea.

Barry's home and garden in Fethard are so beautiful, it's quite a compact house, but had everything we needed, and all gorgeously decorated; a real little piece of heaven. We had breakfast in the garden most mornings, it isn't overlooked and it looks out onto a field which is so tranquil and relaxing. Patty, who met us at the house, was very helpful & offered to make us tea when we arrived! The area has lots of great places to visit and the house is a short walk from the village, which has a shop, pub, cafe and fish & chip shop. We sadly had to leave a bit early due to a family emergency, but we would really love to re-book another trip over the next few months as this has been a real find. Highly recommended.

Good points: Good location, good property with enough space for a family. Suitably furnished and equipped for self catering. Quiet development. Pleasant town with nice pubs etc. Bad points: Anonymous check in with minimal interaction with hosts. Some lights bulbs not working and a broken smoke alarm. Mattresses and sofas have seen better days and are well worn. Torn blinds in one room. Toilet downstairs did not flush. Flooring is bare floor boards and therefore noisey and slippery (especially stairs)

A lovely house in a perfect location, right opposite the amazing beach, next door to lovely Roche's bar (not too noisy, even though we have small kids) and around the corner from a gorgeous chipper - nothing like fresh fish n chips on the wall opposite the beach.

We had a lovely time in this cosy little house. The communication was super and either Cindy, her husband or her mother were very helpful and friendly when we had a problem. The only minus: it was recommended (by the authorities) not go go into the sea due to bad water quality when we were there...

Cindy's house is the perfect base for a family beach holiday. The house is ideally located in the centre of the gorgeous beach side village of Duncannon. The house had everything we needed and Cindy even provided a cot, toddler bed and children's toys and books to keep our little ones entertained.

Great location for the hook head and a very nice house. Walking distance to Dunbrody House local pub which is great value for really good food. Big sitting room which opens onto a large conservatory which in turn opens onto a nice deck with barbeque and furniture. Stayed for a week with a 4 year old and 1 year old, baby gate and travel cot provided. As an aside, forgot a jacket which Danny went out of his way to return.

We had a lovely time in Arthurstown, the house is very well situated for visiting Waterford / Wexford and Kilkenny! Daniel was very helpful answering the phone and explaining everything to us and He left lots of info for us about nice places to visit around the area!

We loved staying at Dannys place. It was so warm and welcoming. Perfect for families! We were able to really relax here with our kids. Through the back garden you can walk out to the old harbor which has spectacular views. There's beautiful beaches and great local seafood just a 5-10 minute drive away. This place feels like a well kept secret. Not too crowded or touristy yet. Thanks Danny!

Daniel's home in Arthurstown was the perfect base for our trip to the Hook Peninsula! It's a short driving distance to all the key local destinations and within walking distance of the Passage East ferry and the excellent pub at Dunbrody House. The house itself was perfect for the three of us and made us feel like we were on holiday from the moment we stepped inside. Daniel even had a kids cot ready for us which was a lovely surprise as we had brought our own and hadn't expected it. We'd love to stay again!

Myself and my family spent an easter break in Daniel's accommodation. It is within walking distance to Arthurstown and Dunbrody House, with lots of lovely drives and things to do in the area. The house itself is comfortable and had a very well equipped kitchen. We very much enjoyed our stay and I would recommend it to people wanted to stay in the area!

Daniel was very welcoming on email and then on the phone, giving lots of suggestions for things to do as a local. The house was lovely, but I was nervous of all the fragile and breakable nautical themed objects about the place with young children travelling with me!

Lovely house in the village right on the sea. House was really comfortable, having everything we needed. Check-in was easy, met Linda's brother who lives not far away. Got the boat each day across the estuary where there are some nice restaurants and pubs. Enjoyed walking along the beach and exploring the wider area.

This cottage has been beautifully restored and is in a scenic location for walks, cycling and drives that access a beautiful part of the country. Thanks to Linda and Linda's brother Gerald for a lovely weekend.

My husband, two small daughters and I had a fantastic time at Linda's place. The cottage is so cosy, comfortable and clean with everything you could need for a family. Very comfortable beds too. The view from the master bedroom out to sea was amazing!! It's an ideal location for seeing the area. We had great trips to Hook Head, Tintern Abbey, Kilmokea House and Dunmore East. 10 minutes walk from the beach. A big clean comfy room, fast internet and an extremely friendly host. What more could you hope for? Highly recommended.

Fantastic stay! Edna was a very nice and helpful host! The house in stunning and the room spacious and clean. The fridge and kettle outside the room was a big plus. The view from the house is stunning (though the beautiful lush green bushes obstruct the view a bit on the room level) and it was lovely to sip the coffee in the garden just outside the room. The house is just a short stroll to the town.

Brilliant stay with Enda and her family. A real find! Stunning house in a lovely quiet spot at the edge of the village. Huge room & bed, power shower, own fridge, gym, sunny terrace & yoga studio. We availed of a private class with Enda which was excellent. Totally recommend. Walking distance to all the restaurants & great cycle routes in the area. We brought our bikes from Dublin & Enda stored them securely. We will definitely be back. We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs over the years and this was one of our faves.

Lovely hosts, very flexible, welcoming & good communication in the lead up to our arrival. This is a fabulous space with the added benefit of having the option to sit and enjoy the beautiful outside area. It is a short walk downhill to the small village of Dunmore East with a lovely pub/restaurant overlooking the bay. Waterford is accessible by car. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful 'get away from it all' stay.

I had a great stay with Paul! He helped me a lot with getting to his place and there he provided me with bus timetabels and informations about the place. His house is close to the shops and the sea and the bus stops only five minutes away. It´s a very beautiful village he is living in and there is a lovely walk on the coast! He was greeting me very warmly and was all in all a very good host. As well the house was clean, the bed comfortabel and the bedding and towels were freshly washed. Great easy communication and a great place to stay

When I arrived I felt like having not met an old friend for quite a long time; we had a nice chat together and drank tea before I was showed around. Everything was super. I liked the higher beds, soft carpet and the fire place at the living room. When I return from the"Strand", we went together to that Irish pub. There we had some Guinness' and beers together,enjoyed the music and everything around. Thank you Paul, thank you very much.

Brendan was a fabulous host who went above and beyond expectations. I booked late as my mother had been rushed into the nearby hospital. When I arrived there was very little visiting time left to visit the hospital so Brendan drive me up there. He also gave me a lift there the next evening which was very kind of him. Location is great - 10 mins walk from hospital , 15 mins to local large Tescos, Next and coffee shop. Very clean and well maintained. Fridge stocked with fresh sausages. Also a welcome loaf of bread and packet of biscuits. Fab, clean kitchen. Plenty of heating and hot water. Sofa rather hard but living room restful and clean with excellent tv reception. I was a woman travelling alone and felt very safe. Quiet cul de sac- no noise. Lovely outside area. Brendan is very easy to communicate with and I would definitely stay here again.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Waterford Brendan was very kind and helpful. on arrival, there was coffee, tea, bread and other food stuff left by Brenday which was a lovely touch. The house was adequate for us clean and warm. We also enjoyed sitting out in the back garden which was private and surrounded by lovely trees and plants. Bus stop at the top of the road and takes you directly into Waterford city. I would not hesitate to book this accomodation again. Thak you Brendan.

We stayed here happily for 3 weeks. Quick reponse to some minor issues.

We stayed for four weeks. The house is as described, with a driveway on a quiet cul-de-sac in a safe, professional area of Waterford. It is about 4K or an easy bus into the city center, but also has nice pubs, coffeeshop and supermarkets in short walking distance. There is a nice walkingpath on the bay behind the estate. It is also easy distance by car or bus to the beach towns. There are three small bedrooms, two with a twin in each and one with a superking (Brendan said other set-ups available), one bathroom. Lovely back garden with well-tended flowers, table outside in the sun, bright kitchen with washer. Brendan a very kind host who himself lives a short distance away, came and met us in supermarket to direct to the place, shared ideas for regional travel and activities, had many travel and nature books available. He explained the coal/peat stove, but we did not need it. Had a place to store rented bikes and got around easily in warmer weather. Even gave some family history advice.

Fabulous little cottage in enclosed garden with big lawn for the kids to play. Lovely & spacious inside, immaculately clean & comfortable. Lovely places to visit within a short drive. We only stayed 3 nights, but wish it could have been longer.

She was in touch before and after, directions were good and it comes up on (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps, which always helps. Nice and clean and aired.

We had a lovely time in Newtown Cottage, place as a nice traditional farmhouse feel while also is very clean and modern. Siobhan was great to deal with, nice area to stay in. Would stay again.
