We want to thank our hosts Jane and Michael for providing a unique and awesome weekend. Our kids have always been bugging us to get a popup camper, and when I saw this listing, I knew we should try it out. The camper was very clean and comfortable, and staying in it brought back memories of my childhood. Some campgrounds can be noisy, but their backyard and neighborhood were very quiet. The neighborhood is off a main street, but as soon as you turn on to their street, you are instantly in a calm neighborhood that is bordered by a couple parks. Our hosts Jane and Michael were fantastic. They and their family immediately made us feel at home. It was very nice of them to make us a home cooked meal, with fresh ingredients from their garden. We had a busy long weekend in Chicago, but at the end of the day, it was nice to have a welcoming place to come home to. Thank you very much for allowing us to stay with you.

Our group arrived late at night but Jane was awake to greet us. The camper included three good sized beds, lights, and electrical outlets to charge phones. We rested well on clean sheets, blankets, and pillows. Jane invited us into the house to use her beautiful bathroom and offered additional accommodations, including advice about driving into downtown Chicago. I highly recommend Camp Sablich for those who want a clean, inexpensive overnight.

I cannot tell you how perfect our stay was with Jane and Michael at Camp Sablich! My boyfriend and I loved it. Jane ended up being away for most of our stay, but was incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed before she left. The camper was private and comfortable and we were able to use their second bathroom and kitchen while there. Jane and Michael even okayed us to let my dog come in the house while we were inside. I ended up having an allergic reaction to a wasp sting (worse case scenario), and didn't have any medication with me. Michael was a superhero and rode his bike to the store right away to get Benadryl and then made sure I was doing okay once it started to kick in. Words cannot describe how grateful I am to him for his kindness and quick thinking! The lodging was clean and comfy, the hosts are incredible, and the area is beautiful and near a bunch of restaurants and grocery stores. You will love staying at Camp Sablich!

Great people, wonderful huge garden! They spoiled us with all kind of snacks and fresh food from the gasrden. We liked the easy-going style, made us feel very welcome. If you like a bit more luxurious way of camping and the largest campingspot ever, near a beautiful town, this is the place to be. We even saw deer in the garden!

We had a lovely time at Jane's. She was super welcoming and the pop up was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend staying with her.

It's my first time using Airbnb and I had a great time. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Jane and Micheal were very nice to me and were eager to help me.

Jane was AMAZING! Evidently I was her first guest and man, she already has it down! I couldn't have felt more welcome, and couldn't have had a better stay. When I arrived she took myself and my dog on a tour of the neighborhood so we could stretch our legs after our long trip, and provided me with everythign I needed for a comfortable stay. In the morning she cooked me a delicious and HUGE breakfast, and insisted I take about 3 meals worth of food with me for that day's long drive. I will definately be staying here again when I head back across the country!

Jane and her family are very open and friendly people, always ready to give advice on things to do around their neighborhood and Chicago. Michael took my dad to a local brewery and Jane spent some time with us at the Indiana Dunes. To go to Chicago it takes about an hour to an hour and a half if you want to use public transport, but it's definitely worth it since parking downtown is really expensive and the traffic can be quite stressful. Spending three nights in the camper was a great outdoor experience without actually having to purchase our own camping equipment. However, seeing as the backdoor was always open and we could go into the house whenever we wanted to we didn't have to miss out on any of the luxuries we're used to. Including a beautiful stone shower and a coffee machine (and the rest of the kitchen as well, obviously). We would definitely stay with Jane and her family again, and if it's only to "steal" tomatos from their garden or play with their adorable dog;)

Marva and her husband were great hosts and treated us with the upmost respect. They never bothered us or seemed worried about us staying. This was my first time using AirBnb and I hope everyone is as wonderful as Marva and her husband are!

Very beautiful neighborhood and home. This apartment is very beautiful and well appointed. Please note it is located in the basement. The host were very friendly and accommodating. We arrived late in the evening and were received with a smile and bottle of wine along with cold water in the refrigerator and fruit on the counter! Nice selection of coffee for the morning! Perfect! Great location south of Chicago.

This house was EXACTLY as described. A beautiful, comfortable home, and a lovely bucolic property in town. My three sisters and I felt very much at home. Though I didn't meet Jill, she did everything possible to give us a great experience. Don't hesitate to stay at Willowthorne!

Jill made me feel incredibly welcome and while the listing looks great it actually was even better than anticipated. This place is a true gem! You feel completely transported to a bucolic and beautiful world that is crazy how close it is to the actual city. Felt at peace here. Was able to relax, meditate and get a ton of work done. Love the setting of vegetable gardens, chickens, ducks and beautiful flowers. Can't forget the Blueberry bushes, weeping willows and great pond. Made for great running early in the morning. It's the little things that also count and add to a cumulative incredible experience. Farm fresh eggs, nice soaps, lots of towels, this place was set up perfectly. Could not have been happier.

Jill's home is in a beautiful area and she made us feel like we were right at home. It is just as described. If we are ever in the area again we will be sure to rebook.

We had nice stay at Lori's home. The apartment is very clean and everything is arranged systematically.

This home perfectly fit our needs. It was roomy with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, living room, family room, dining room, and kitchen. The backyard was beautiful and even though the home is located in a subdivision, the backyard felt very private. We loved watching the squirrels play on the patio. When booking this home I was asked for a copy of my drivers license which sent up red flags for me. I have booked vacation homes on other sites and have never been asked for my DL. I was going to back out of the booking because I was fearful this was a scam. Lori communicated with me at great length and with much patience. She was kind enough to allow my son to stop by since he lived in the area and meet with her and her husband. I'm very thankful I booked the home. It was the perfect location for us. It gave me a kitchen to cook an abundance of food for my granddaughter's open house (sorry about all of the garbage from all of the cooking!) and it allowed our family of 6 to stay in a home verses 2-3 hotel rooms!

Everything was great. Lori's friend Ella let us in the house and gave us all of the info we needed. She was super responsive and extremely kind. Great location! I would stay here again. Thanks!

Betty and Paul are the kindest and most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet! I felt just like a beloved daughter returning home after time away. Betty offered me everything I could possibly want to make my stay comfortable. She even saved me some dinner and made me a delicious lunch to take to my workshop the next day! I just wish I had been there long emough to take advantage of their lovely screened back deck that overlooks the woods. I would absolutely stay there again.

We began by receiving instructions on how to obtain the key by first going Deborah's home, then to the apartment. Her yard is beautifully decorated! Thank goodness Deborah gives detailed directions on how to get to the apartment from her home (which is actually simply and straightforward) because our GPS had us going in the opposite direction! We booked 2 days however our daughter became ill so we had to leave by the next morning. Deborah refunded post of our stay which was very generous of her since we did not request it. The apartment itself is clean, well stocked and comfortable. No cable, but wifi. Nice size television but it kept flickering out. Other guests mentioned about not knowing the password to the wifi - it's located the side of the modem. :) Each room have their own air conditioning unit, which is nice since I like it freezing and my family, not so much. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is spacious. The only con the neighbors must be heavy smokers because we could smell it through the walls in the bathroom. The apartment also have a washer and dryer, although we didn't get to use it. Overall it was a decent stay. We would recommend Deborah's place(URL HIDDEN)

When I first arrived, I wasn't impressed by the outside of the condo complex, as it was dated and not very well kept. This is no reflection on Deborah, and don't let it persuade you from staying here because the inside of Deborah's condo is a whole different story. It has obviously been updated and is clean and quite. Deborah has done a great job of making sure that every need of a guest has been addressed. I was very impressed with the condo and would definitely stay there again.

Laura is an excellent host. The house is in a nice neighborhood. Everything is clean. She even offered dinner and breakfast.

Laura and her daughter were amazing hosts. They treated me like family, even if my stay was short. Laura shows you all the necessary things you need, offers anything to make your stay easier, greets you at the door, and walks you off to your car. Definitely would recommend her if you're in town.

Lisa was a great host and really helpful at check-in. The room was very comfortable and a great place to stay for the night. It's a pretty convenient location, close to a street with Target and several other shopping and dining options. The best thing about this stay was the super comfortable bed and the really fluffy pillows. I was tired and slept really well!

Lisa's place was perfect for our "layover." We needed a safe, welcoming place to land before we did the next leg of our 18 hour drive the next day. Lisa was bubbly and welcoming and made our evening.

Lisa's place was a good overnight/rest halfway point to break up my drive from MN to OH. Her home was easy to locate as it's just off a main road but situated in a quiet residential neighborhood with safe parking. The room was clean and quiet, bed comfortable and includes a fridge and tv. The guest uses a private bathroom down the hall. Lisa is friendly and wants to assist in making her guest's stay a success. A small repair issue came up and Lisa attended to the fix as quick as time allowed. There are several quick drive restaurants nearby and the Indiana Dune State Park is only a 30 min. drive away.

We so appreciated Lisa's hospitality and accommodating nature. It felt like being at home with family. Our schedule kept us busy and it was easy to come and go as necessary. Having a fridge and coffee maker in the room was a nice touch. We also enjoyed a very pleasant walk through the safe neighborhood and nearby trails.

I stayedd at Lisa's for a night. She turned out to be very caring and welcoming host. She has a dog and 2/3 cats...she made sure that her pets didn't bother me in any way, and I had a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend her.

This is a perfect place for someone who is traveling through a needs a bed to sleep in for the night. This is a no frills place but the price makes it an excellent value. Lisa was a fine host and I would stay there again.

This was a wonderful experience! The house is lovely, and the bed is super comfortable. Went for a long walk around the neighborhood early in the morning, and it felt welcoming and very, very safe. Deborah is a wonderful hostess. We went to a park just two blocks away for a city festival, but the house was quiet. Highly, highly recommend.

The space is exactly as described. The pull-out sofa bed is in a shared living room. Ruth and her husband were very nice and fun to talk to. I arrived in the evening, so I wasn't able to spend as much time with my hosts, but I enjoyed my time with them. Ruth was easy to reach by phone/text and was an overall great host.

Well, it was a nice little house, it wasn't spotless but it was homey. My only problem was the arguing that went on at least 3 of the 5 nights I was there. The husband took me outside to "apologize" for the scene he made one night, and went on an intense tangent about how he "hates fags" followed by some bigoted biblical interpretation nonsense, I don't think he realized I'm gay. And I found out more drama about this family than I would have cared to. But if you're busy the whole time you're in town, it's not a bad place to stay.

Very nice place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city, bed was comfortable as advertised. Ruth was exceedingly accommodating and provided excellent directions on how to find her driveway.

The place was exactly what was advertised and worked great for us as we were looking for somewhere cheap to crash for the night. The only hiccup was the other airbnb rentals- the other people decided to leave at 3 in the morning and were very loud getting to the front door. Ruth however, was great, and very accommodating of our late arrival and our early start time.

Ruth's place is everything that was communicated to me via airbnb prior to my arrival. Check in and the entire family environment exceeded my expectations and I'll surely look forward to staying in this "sack in the woods" again! The pull out bed is very comfortable and sharing the bathroom worked very well. Coffee and offers of snacks (even Ruth's fathers evening meals) was an added bonus along with all of the shared life stories and laughter! Biggest hugs to all!

John and Sheryl were very accommodating to our busy schedule and late arrival. A handwritten welcome note awaited us, with all the information we needed. The bus was cozy and comfy for our 2 night stay. It was great to have an alternative to the truck-stop motels in Monee when visiting family in Crete.

So much fun! We thought it would be a hoot to stay on a renovated bus during our trip to visit family. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had plenty of space. Great water pressure in the shower. We didn't get to spend much time there other than sleeping, but it was in a great location for us and very economical. Thanks for hosting us!

This is a great place to stay! My brother and I rented John's RV for a week and really enjoyed it. It was a nice, clean place to come home to after work. John is very accommodating and puts a lot of effort into helping his guests feel welcomed. I am currently renting a room in his home and love it as well. They're both great deals. I highly recommend either one.

Stayed for a week in the RV. Well-stocked kitchen with all the gadgets like a coffee maker, microwave, fridge and cooktop. Full shower, too! Nice selection of books, CDs, DVDs and VHS for entertainment. Home is set back in a forested area, so it's a little like camping. Very quiet and restful.

Everything was top notch. I stayed on the bus for a couple weeks when I was between homes. The RV conversion of the bus is very nice, and it offers everything anyone needs. John and Sheryl are very gracious hosts, and the setting is in a quiet, wooded neighborhood. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

We loved it! John and his wife Sheryl have made this RV really functional, practical, and very comfortable to live in. Its interior is quite tidy and has plenty storage spaces. It's perfect for two people or a small family. A short drive from University Park, the Metra train station, this RV nestled between bushes and the host's beautiful house. John and his wife are superb hosts. They are very polite, easy-going, friendly, and communicate really well. They prepared filtered water for us, showed us around, and then left their fully equipped RV for us to enjoy. There are CD/radio with nice sound system and movie DVDs with a decent-sized flat panel screen. We loved having breakfast next to the window, while listening to Sarah McLachlan's performance. There are many wonderful things about this place, but we could not drive their RV away, though it would be very nice to :), on the way back...
