Our stay was excellent. A great location near many historic landmarks and well within walking distance of the nearest amenities. The place was spotless and had all the modern conveniences. Well worth the money.

This delightful secret hideaway nestles between verdant hills in beautiful countryside. The apartment is well equipped with kitchen, bathroom and two double bedrooms one of which doubles as a sitting room, with french windows opening onto the garden and the adjacent parking space. Light and spacious we recommend this as an ideal base for exploring the area, while also providing peace and tranquility. This apartment is absolutely clean and well-equipped, in a very quiet place. Address and GPS coordinates are strictly accurate so no wrong route is possible! The flat is next of Conor 's house that is well-maintened too with a very lovely garden. Conor is very reactive host that answer quickly to any communication we have had. Despite my late arrival because of a flight delay, Conor was here to welcome me. The accomodation is perfect for a couple or lonely traveler. I would recommend anyone who wants to visit the stunning Northern Ireland to stay here and I would love to come back again. Thank you Conor!

Ashbrook house is a quiet place and located some 70 km from Belfast. It is a good base to visit this city. Hazel is welcoming and the apartment is very spacious. We had a great time.

Fantastic stay. Great stopping off point if driving from Belfast to west or south, or visiting family ... in our case both. We took the apartment and paid extra for breakfast ... and what a breakfast ... the best we had on our trip. The Irish breakfast had everything, and the porridge with whiskey and cream was to die for. The apartment was perfect for us: clean, quiet and new with sitting area for relaxing in evening, kitchen for a low-key dinner one night, washer to do a load of washing after a few days on the road. The hosts, Hazel and Crofton, are super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home and answer our questions. Could not recommend this place enough, and would go out of my way to stay here again. Thanks both of you.

I stayed here for four days with my husband and children (aged 2 and 5). We had a wonderful time and could not have asked for anything else. The apartment is clean and well equipped, with beautiful views over fields and countryside. I would highly recommend this place to couples, families, or even the lone traveler.

Gorgeous apartment in a quiet country area, close to a reasonably busy road but little to no traffic noise. Easy to find and get anywhere you would want to go. Lovely grounds to wander around. Friendly warm welcome from Hazel, who really has thought of everything you could possibly want in the apartment, including an amazing welcome basket with more than just a few basics to get you started after travelling. Wonderfully comfortable beds- even the kids slept sound all night!

We really enjoyed our stay in The Annex. Very nice place. Clean, spacious, comfortable bed and everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Genie and her husband are very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Even had us some jellies, bread, butter, milk and juice for us to enjoy. Area is beautiful and town nearby has places to eat. There is a entrance to a forest nearby walking distance that has trails and a kids playground. Very nice place to spend some time and do a picnic. One of the best stays with Airbnb we have had so far. Very good location right in the middle of Northern Ireland to explore all of Northern Ireland.

The Annex was awesome, exactly as in the pictures, with all necessary equipment and even entertainment! (movies, videogames, etc). It's contained within the perimeter of the main house but separate enough to have your own privacy. The house itself is in a quiet area, with a little town nearby for dinning or shopping. Renting a car is recommended and Genie will always have a spot for you in the backyard. Genie was always quick replying and very informative for anything you may need. Overall a great experience, would definitely go again.

The area is beautiful and quiet, the Annexe clean and comfortable with everything you need. Genie is a delightful host, friendly and helpful but not intrusive. We really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again if we return to the area. Although it seems a little remote it is a very central area to use for seeing lots of Northern Ireland and only just over an hour to the north coast with all its wonderful attractions.

Margarets place was exactly as described. It was very clean and central. Ideal for exploring northern ireland. Margaret went above and beyond to help during our stay, offering recommendations and even provided us with shower gel and fresh milk for our breakfast. I would thoroughly recommend margaret and her cookstown apartment.

Good potential, not quite delivered. Yes, great to stay in a small flat in the town centre. Not presented quite as well as it could be, with some minor gripes which could largely be overlooked, except for the noise from the bar when the live music was going (11PM - 1AM?) - and I had asked about any noise issues before I booked.

Lovely apartment central to all amenities in Cookstown. Margret communicated with us quickly when we had any questions and was a very accommodating. I would recommend if you're looking for a base to visit cookstown and the surround areas.

Recommend this place a lot for a quiet little get away

It has all the amenities a traveller would ever need - fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, living room with television and dining table, spacious bathroom, big wardrobe with iron, etc. There was nothing that my fiance and I could pick on. Perfect accommodation!

1. Anne with her little beautiful daughter gave us a very warm welcome and sorted out all of our problems&questions quickly and nicely. They provided bottle wine, nice cup cakes and chocolate for us , so that was a little bit surprised for us. 2. The house is beside her main house and there is a big piece land around the house with private children 's play ground and garden , so it is a good benefit for the family with kids. The facilities in the house are new and high standard. The bed is so oozy and the room is so warm. 3. Highly recommend to everybody

Quarry Loft was the perfect getaway for my daughters and I. A beautiful apartment - very fresh, clean & comfortable in a great setting just a few minutes drive from Magherafelt. Very friendly hosts who assisted us in every way that they could. We will definitely be returning to stay again.

Anne and Stephens place is absolutely lovely and highly recommend it. Lots of gorgeous finishing touches and little yummy gifts left for us too which was a lovely touch. The yard is very generous and is perfect with those travelling with children as they have access to yard and play equipment. The high light for our children was the family dog Pip! He was a delight and was eagerly waiting and happy to see us everyday. Their place is nice and quiet so you can get a good sleep in (what ever that means with children) and it's a lovely sight to look out the bedroom window and see the sheep grazing. We highly recommend this place to stay at and would happily go back again ourselves.

Superb Apartment set aside from the main house which was perfect for me and two young children on our trip to Ireland. Welcome was superb, and allowing the children to play in the play areas, the large lawn etc was well appreciated. The sight of a minion welcoming us on arrival at the front gate let me know that we had made a good choice. The location was great being in the centre of Northern Ireland so allowing for tips up to the Causeway and to Belfast /Derry. Would recommend the accommodation and also Anne/Stephen for being excellent hosts.

Zoe's mum met us and is a very helpful and friendly person. She explained she was ill prepared for our visit as we were her first guests. The house itself is fine and was well equipped and Zoe's mum put refreshments, milk and some food stock in the kitchen. Very nice and scenic area! This is a perfect place for exploring the local countryside. You need your own transport but with that in place it's easy to get around as far afield as the Mourne Mountains and Newry or stay close and check out local pubs and cafes - there are 3 or 4 small towns within 5 to 10 minutes. The accommodation is very comfortable with plenty of of space. The wi fi is very reliable. A previous review suggested not self catering but we had no trouble for the 5 nights we were there - a stove, a cook top and a microwave. Paula and Zoe were excellent communicators and very keen to ensure an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

This was my first stay in an Airbnb property and it was fantastic. The apartment had everything you need and has spectacular views. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We were made really welcome and enjoyed our stay immensely.

Wonderful house, equipped as much as you can imagine and even much more! Warm, sunny (if there is any sun), with a great view. You can easily spend there a week or more. Unfortunately, we stayed in this house only one night, but will be happy to come again and stay longer.

If you're coming to this part of Ireland: highly recommended. We had two nights at Billy's place - in January - it's warm & comfortable. It's very easy to find, with good road connections to many towns/cities in this area, on the main road through the town. Free parking always available right beside it. The guest room is at the back, so it's quiet. Don't miss the Indian tapestry, on the big area of wall as you go upstairs into the main apartment: it's spectacular. Billy is very thoughtful, welcoming & helpful. He had everything ready for us. There's a choice of eating places nearby, including take-aways: the Montagu Arms for example does bar snacks as well as 'proper' meals. All the arrangements were excellent; thank you, Billy!

Beautiful apartment, super close to everything and Adam was a brilliant host!

Our host greeted us was not personally. His mother came open but we seemed not knowing how to work the equipment (boiler, washing machine), result: shower with cold water. The accommodation is situated on a busy road so it is hot, especially at night.

This flat is a little gem in a very convenient location. The flat has everything you could want including a supply of fluffy clean towels and a well supplied kitchen. We loved it and will definitely be back again.

We had a lovely time in this cozy apartment. It has everything you need and by car(!) you can reach most everything really quickly. Be it Belfast, Lurgan, Craigavon, Oxford Island or even things like Hillsborough Castle. On the groundfloor is a tiny farmer's market which we sadly didn't get the time to check out because of the bank holiday but it looked nice. The apartment is small but has a lot of charm. The living room is Paris themed and if you let your eyes wander I'm sure you find an Eiffle Tower here and there and everywhere. And we have nothing but good words for our hosts. Warmly welcomed us and Will even checked up on us all the way from London. Thanks so much guys we'll make sure to come again!

We loved this little apartment! It was cozy and warm and had everything we needed. There was a yummy loaf of fruit brack on the counter for us which we thoroughly enjoyed. We had some confusion about getting hot water. Will and his father came over in 10 minutes to explain and fix the issue for us. We ended up having a great conversation with them Irish history and hot spots to visit. Great experience.

My wife & I had a delightful time in Northern Ireland, accentuated by the wonderful accommodation provided by Will and his folks. Everything 'advertised' was there - and more! We were made very welcome and I'd have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone who wants a homely and comfy flat away from the hussle & bustle of the city, which in any event, isn't all that far away. The nearby pub (Planters) serves a great meal and I was watery-eyed as I drank my first real Guiness for many a year (the Guiness in Wales is pretty ordinary)!

Good experience at Mary's place. The house is close to public transportation, it's nice and people are kind. There is also a nice path along the river and the lake. Recommended.
