“Closest beach to the treehouse. Great for strolling, swimming and relaxing. We always spot dolphins every visit! Local tip: park at north beach, and walk up the beach for complete seclusion.”

“This state park features sunbathing, shelling, swimming, fishing, picnic pavilions, bathhouses and a park concession building. The Caladesi Island ferry departs from Honeymoon Island. Like Caladesi Island, Honeymoon Island is one of the state’s few undisturbed barrier islands. The Island also features two bird observation areas, a pet beach and two nature trails. “Great brunch spot, for both weekdays or weekends. Get a table outside in the back, under the big covered outdoor back patio and sip bloody mary's or mimosas while scarfing down their famous cinnamon buns, and other pastry specials. ”

“Honeymoon Island is a secluded state park that is perfect for those seeking privacy and tranquility. It’s one of the most popular parks in Florida, with a pristine shoreline highlighted by crystal clear waters. Spend your days sunbathing and shell collecting, or take a walk along the three-mile nature trail full of osprey, bald eagle, and great horned owls. Close the day by catching a stunning sunset and it will be an experience that is surely hard to beat.”

“Best Beach in the area, accessible by Ferry or Walking Down the beach after you park in a residential neighborhood. Its wider, and quieter than the more well known Clearwater Beach. If you go, make sure to try Frenchy`s(great fish or burgers-go to the smaller location not on the beach, where the local hang out)”

“Great lunch spot on the water, right down by the Dunedin Marina. They haul in their own fresh fish. I recommend the fish sandwich and an ice cold beer. Their beer selection is pretty good. They have a small bar inside, but most seating is outside, overlooking the marina. ”

“Not the biggest place, and it sits right on a street, but my personal favorite in terms of the beer itself. Dunedin has alot of competition for beer, but 7venth Sun's IPA's and are the best (according to me ), along with the rest of their offerings. Grab a flight, and sit at the open air window, and hang with some locals debating baseball. ”

“This is one of the closest beaches to me. Right before you get to the bridge to cross over to the island, there is a Publix. Stop in there and grab some sandwiches and drinks and throw them in the cooler (I have one you can use) and head over to the island to relax for a day on the beach! They also have a pet friendly beach side if you have your pets with you.”
