“Attention foodies! Only about 25 minutes west of Galena, Brazen is located in the Historic Millwork District in Dubuque, Iowa. Chef Kevin Scharpf was born and raised in Galena, and competed in Season 16 of Top Chef. The menu changes seasonally, and serves up unique and delicious locally sourced mid-western dishes. We love the atmosphere, and the food is fantastic. You'll love it! Reservations are recommended. ”

Coffee Shop

“Our favorite coffee shop and bar! Very unique place. Opens early and closes late! A great place to mingle with locals and visitors. The best drip coffee in Dubuque! They also have good espresso drinks. Love their dirty chai! Good selection of beers, and cocktails. The inside is beautiful with local art displays they switch out regularly. There is a back porch that overlooks the 4th Street elevator with beautiful views of the homes around the bluff. They also have a front porch facing Bluff Street. Plenty of places to relax inside. Couch, chairs, tables and stools. Very family friendly, with board games and more. See why this is our favorite place in Dubuque!?!?”

“Restaurant and bar with unique flavors! I love their chopped salad with steak! My boyfriend likes The Mac’enator with pulled pork Mac and cheese on wheat berry bread. The 1st and Main burger I also like! It’s made with peanut butter, jelly, pepper jack cheese and bacon. Lots of other classics and entrees and flatbreads. They also serve breakfast.”
