Marion's place is everything you could expect and more, even picked me up from the railway station late at night following 3 hours delayed flight. Very clean, affordable and comfortable place with a very caring host.

Marion is a very nice lady with a welcoming gesture. The room and bath were completely clean. The place is in a nice neighborhood and has a good access to the city center by bus or Ubahn.

Marion was understudy because we had to arrive later. She welcome us. The room was nice and clean. Buyer and better than in pictures. The bathroom was big, clean and in front the bedroom' door. There are childrens bedroom next door but for us it was not problem. The place is inside the residential area and it's necessary walk around 700m if you want comes by public transport. We check out early and I was not problem. The only strange things was that we received a message from Marion about one thing that we did not know and she showed some ironic.

Silke made me feel very welcome in her lovely comfortable home . She comes from a gastronomic background so meals were absolutely delightful. Nothing seemed to much trouble for Silky advising on the best places to visit in the area. She is has since become a truly genuine friend !

It was a great weekend in Dortmund. Silke is simply amazing :) . She was really helpful giving me advice about the city. She also gave me a lift to the closest metro. We had interesting conversations, i would say the perfect hostess! The room was clean, comfortable and originally furnished. The house is about 15 minutes metro from the center + 10-15 minutes bus. I got that application for transport services ( VRR app ) on my phone by which I moved easily from place to place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

On our way from our holiday destination back home, we stopped at Simone's house. That way we and our baby could get some rest before continuing our way home. We got our rest in the cosy room in Simone's house. If it would have been a little warmer, it would have been nice to sit outside, because she has a beautiful garden. Prompt check-in, the room was exactly as described and in a peaceful suburb of Dortmund, just a short (12 minute) walk from the Hotel Der Lennhof, where our friends' wedding was taking place. No complaints, an enjoyable experience and considerably more cost effective than staying at the hotel itself :).

Simone and her whole family are very friendly and very helpful. The whole house was very clean and looks exactly like in the photos. It's in a nice and quiet residential neighbourhood, close to the train.

Simone is very nice! And the location is just one station from the center station of Dortmund, but you need about 12 minutes walking to Simone's house. But the neighborhood is great, it's clean, quiet and you can hear the birds , quite lovely. And the room is special and cozy !! Highly recommended.

Heike has a lovely place in Dortmund. It is part of a large house in a nice quiet street with lots of green trees. We had our own entrance into our rooms. The rooms were tidy, large and comfortable and had everything we needed. There was even the option to make our own tea or coffee! Furthermore the bathroom seemed recently renovated so it was very modern and clean with a nice hot shower. We had a very pleasant stay at Heike's house and would recommend it to everyone looking for a stay in Dortmund.

A really large flat with a private bedroom, bathroom and our own entrance door. Heike was really nice and enthousiastic too share her love for Dortmund. For this price, the room is a luxury place !

The apartment was clean and quiet. The bathroom was also clean and modern. Heike is a generous women and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our staying in Dortmund and we were surprised about the industrial culture but also nature in the city and her surroundings. What can be better is the wifi, it was sometimes to slow.

Was will ich mehr? Das Appartement bietet viel Platz, hat einen eigenen Eingang und ich habe super geschlafen. Das eigene Bad ist nicht groß, aber modern. Ich hatte einen guten Abstellort für mein Fahrrad, mit dem ich bei gemütlicher Fahrweise in 10 Minuten (2,8 km) das Stadtzentrum erreicht habe. Auch für mein Auto habe ich immer einen Platz in der ruhigen Straße gefunden. Heike habe ich nur fünf Minuten getroffen, da ich viel unterwegs war, aber man kann auch gut kommunizieren ohne sich zu sehen. Die Küche kann ich nicht bewerten, da mir der Wasserkocher im Appartement reichte. Es war die beste der mittlerweile 15 von mir genutzten Airbnb-Unterkünfte.

We truly enjoyed staying at this apartment and the attitude from Andreas as a host - a very good host indeed. There was Everything we needed - beginning from the usual things (like full kitchen equipment, washing machine, TV or CD player), and ending up with good quality WiFi internet, parking place for our car, cosy little balcony and newly cut lawn behind the house. Andreas met us at the open door, advised on public transport connections, and the best restaurants nearby. The pity was that due to the business tasks (the reason why we came to Dortmund!), we didn't have enough time to enjoy the apartment and the neighborhood fully. But there is a good solution to this: we'll come back once more some day :) P.S. Andreas has got a good sense of humor, believe me :)

Nick and Nati where wonderfull very warm Hosts. The location and the House are realy beautifull, convenient and very quite. I totally enjoyd the brand new room with its very stylish, own batroom. Schöne, saubere Unterkunft! Alles wie beschrieben! Das Bett ist sehr weich, was mir aber gut gefallen hat. Einzig die Nachtspeicherheizung hat etwas genervt; selbst wenn man sie ausstellt, gibt sie noch lange Wärme ab. Wer gern kühl schläft sollte vorher Bescheid sagen, dass die Heizung rechtzeitig ausgeschaltet wird. Nick habe ich nicht persönlich kennengelernt aber seine Mutter war sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Ich war für eine Konferenz eine Nacht in der Stadt und dafür war das Zimmer super geeignet! Bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt in Dortmund komme ich gerne wieder.

Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt auch wenn wir früher als geplant da waren. Die Lage ist super, die besten Empfehlungen bekommen was das Essen betrifft, alles gut und schnell zu erreichen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt und auch verabschiedet.

Nice AirBnB in the outskirts of Dortmund. The Zeche Zollern mine museum is right around the corner, and it's easy to reach with public transport. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom is pretty luxurious (at least to me. Depends on what you're used to, I think) and plenty of space of a single person. Really nice place to stay.

The room is big and there is alot of space for baggage. The bus stop and supermarket are very close to the house.

Susanne and here family are very warm and welcoming. Communication with Susanne was good with fast replies. The room itself is very spacious and equipped with all necessary utilities. The place is in a nice and quiet area within walking distance of Romberg park and the Zoo. Supermarket is just around the corner and public transport is easily accessible. It takes you 15-20 minutes to the city center or the university by bike and around 30 minutes by public transport. I had a very nice and pleasant stay and would recommend it to everyone.

Susanne answered to all my mails within a few hours so booking went perfectly. The welcoming itself was very warm, I had no trouble finding the house and felt almost as a part of the family. Room is very spacious, what you see on the pictures is exactly what you get. Privacy is guaranteed as the room is located on the basement floor, but has a big window which gives plenty of light coming out onto a proper terrace with table and chairs. The 160cm bed is nice, private bathroom is at the other side of the hall. Shower is in the bath, which is makes it a little difficult to keep the floor dry. Bathroom itself very clean. Susanne provides free fruit, cookies and lemonade, a friendly surprise. Location was perfect for me, in a quiet area close to stadium and at 15 minute bikeride to the citycentre. Would certainly go back

I received a very warm welcome from Susanne, Rolf and family and enjoyed a pleasant stay over nearly 3 weeks. I had my own private space but was also able to socialise easily with the family. Accommodation is very close to supermarkets and bus and rail transport stops. Accessible by public transport even (EMAIL HIDDEN)munication was always excellent. Highly recommended!

Check out the bakery in the store, delicious bread and pastries. For those that forgot to bring an adapter for their electronics/phone chargers check out Saturn store near Dortmund main station.

The room that Susanne is offering to rent is very nice. Its a very good size and has everything that you might need while you stay including TV, fridge, coffee machine and even your own small patio area complete with table and chairs. Susanne, her family and three cats are all very welcoming and friendly, they offered for me to have breakfast and dinner with them whenever I liked and I was welcome to use the kitchen at my convienience. They were very helpful as well, they offered to help me find a job and a flat within Dortmund and I cannot think of any reason not to recomend for people to stay with them. The area they are located in is also very nice with a couple of supermarkets and a pizza takeaway around the corner as well as a small train station about 5 minutes walk.
