This is a great apartment! TJ was a great host. This place is located very close to the beach and to the heart of Daytona Beach. BUT, the description doesn't tell you that it's located right next door to a strip club. There is also another strip club directly across the street. I wish I would have known that before bringing my 4 year old here. For the most part the place was clean. However, the bathroom was not clean upon our arrival (dirty bar soaps left in the shower, little hairs on the window seal). I also had to wash everything I used in he kitchen beforehand. There seemed to be a brown film on ALL of the pots and pans. This is a BACHELOR PAD, it's not very family friendly. I would recommend this place to single guys.

Once I arrived to the area, I gave the host TJ a call and he walked me through my introduction since he was not in town at the moment. Upon arrival to the listing however, we were very skeptical about the neighborhood and the actual building we were going to be staying in. Trust me when I say it looks sketchy, but this place is totally worth the value still. Our minds were immediately eased by the first step inside TJ's cozy apartment. This is the perfect place to be if you plan to spend most of your time out and about OR if you feel like staying in and cozying up on the electronic reclining couch. Much attractions nearby such as food and shopping places and a block away from the beach. Even though its a block though we still felt a need to drive everywhere instead of walk since the neighborhood vibes were a bit weird. Parking during the day was fine (no designated space for you) however because of the nearby attractions, at night it can be a nightmare. Make sure to get in on time or you could find yourself circling the block for a bit. Overall, an amazing little place you won't be disappointed in!

TJ was very easy to communicate. We were close to the beach (about a block away) and there were lots of great things to do nearby! You are next to a gentlemen's club and across the street from one as well, so head's up if that's not your cup of tea! Overall a great time!

Great location and right on the beach with easy access to many amenities close by. The resort was as described and suited our needs well. Everything you need for a trip to the beach and surrounding area. Jeff was attentive with multiple call/texts to make sure things were going well.

After the booking the owner contacted me almost immediately with the information needed for my stay such as parking, condo access items, and important contact information. On the first day of my stay he called me personally to address any questions or concerns I had and let me know to call him if I needed anything or had any other questions after I arrived. The complex has a older beach feel with some nice amenities(vending machines, small gym-the basics). The condo was warm and maintained as well as was as described. The only downside was the size. This space is great for 1-2 people with small to light-moderate luggage and going over that may be tight. The condo had great fridge space and much needed cookware/tableware was provided making heating up some leftovers a breeze. The pool and beach front property are just as beautiful as the pictures show and the location is really amazing, minutes from anything Daytona really. We did have a small issue with one of the beds but Jeff did not waste anytime and addressed it immediately. The stay was great for what we needed and Jeff was a absolute pleasure, I would definitely stay again.

My sister and I drove in fron NH and couldn't have been happier to find Jeff and Sallys place better then the photos looked like...This place was amazing!!! So clean and had everything we needed for our 11 day stay.Jeff the host called me numerous times to make sure we had everything we needed....He is the sweetest manHe also told us of a fabulous burger restaurant called Brakers,So yummy!Jody at the front desk was also so nice and helped us with a few tips of the place. We can't wait to return next year. I highly recommend Jeff and Sallys place to anyone that wants a relaxing great time in Daytona Beach !

The property is just great! The room is well equipped and fully air conditioned. The most beautiful of the giant pool is right outside the house, which is right on the beach. It is amazing ...

Keith was an amazing host, he made us (myself, my daughter and her friend) feel very welcome without being overbearing! He even gave us a few tips on places to eat locally and sights to see, which was very useful and kind. The neighborhood was fairly decent, a little loud traffic noise at night, but overall nice, just across the bay from the beaches. We loved staying here and would definitely stay again!

Keith was one of. the best AirBNB host I have ever had. One night we managed to lose a key and couldn't get into the apartment. No problem, Keith came out and gave us a spare key with the comment "i have also lost a lot of hotel keys on my vacations, don't worry, focus on having a good time". The apartment was clean and Keith provided towels, toothbrushes, shampoo etc. I give my fullest recommendations.

Keith was the first person I have ever done Airbnb with and it was absolutely amazing. He was very helpful and treated you l a close relative. I would recommend that if you take a trip to Daytona Beach this is the ultimate place to stay !!

Very close to the beach, definitely a stay again for me and my friends, did get a little sketchy with people swarming the parking lot at 3 in the morning.

My family & I stayed in this private apartment for 2 nights while vacationing in Daytona Beach. The apt was perfectly clean, outfitted with all of the basic necessities, and lots of parking. Keith was readily available for chatting or recommendations. We really appreciated that this private space was pet-friendly, too, which was very important. Would recommend to others for conveniently located getaway!

Goldis Place is AMAZING! though I was only there for a night it was still amazing. The place is very convenient which is close to the beach. Its not so hard to find and its very safe, since its close to the police station. I will definitely comeback and book my stay into his place again. I HIGHLY recommend to his place for family and friends.

Grandpa's Hideaway was very welcoming, from the obviously well-tended garden to the beach and picnic supplies available for our use. Goldie left cheerful sticky notes around too, so nothing left us wondering. It was a charming, very clean and updated little apartment that just felt good. I'd definitely stay there again.

This place was awesome! The apartment was clean and everything was just as described. The location is perfect for going out to the local bars/restaurants and it's close to the beach as well. My husband and I stayed at Cindy and Burgundy's apartment in Daytona Beach during cheerleading Nationals. We had a wonderful stay. The apartment was very clean and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and it was quite convenient to the event venues without being in the thick of it - we enjoyed getting away in the afternoon for a siesta after the big crowds. Enjoyed the back deck also for sun and relaxation. We met Cindy once - she was really nice, and in emails and conversation gave us several great ideas for places to eat. While there is TV and Wifi, the TV is Roku only - no regular live channels aside from the subscriptions. Overall we enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

My girlfriend and I had a very pleasant stay at Amelia's condo. The apartment was clean and freshly renovated with a cozy seaside vibe. The location was ideal - right on the beach and a short drive/taxi to nearby nightlife. Throughout our time there, Amelia was helpful and quick to respond to our questions. She even went out of her way to resolve a slight inconvenience of construction in a section of the building's parking garage. The only (small) knock on the condo is that, while Amelia's place is very nice and renovated, the building itself is relatively old. It's on par with many other structures in the area and a solid overall value, but a step below some of the modern luxury hotels along the same strip.

This place was beautifully decorated and the view was fantastic! A great night sleep in a very comfortable bed! Too many wonderful things to mention! Close to the beach and restaurants, great parking, short walk from the elevator and a relaxing balcony to enjoy the view. Safe and secure. Absolutely loved our stay there!

The complex itself is under some renovation, but the room is very lovely, very clean and well maintained. Amelia is great with communication. The room and view is completely accurate. It's close to downtown within minutes, you can certainly walk. We had an amazing time and a great experience. I would highly recommend this little hideaway.

Amelia's home might just be one of the very few places that sits right at a perfect spot in entire Daytona Beach. The room is immaculate and the view is breathtaking. The room is bigger than it looks in the picture and Amelia provides every amenities you 'll need to make your stay better. If I'm coming back in Daytona, I'm definitely going to look up for Amelia's place FIRST.

Whilst older and showing it, the apartment/room advertised was exactly as described. It was enjoyable as a non smoker to be accommodated with odour free space. Interestingly, after day 2 I was able to receive wifi on my applications in the room. Bonus!! Considering I was in Daytona for Biketoberfest weekend the location was ideal. Front desk staff (Richard) was very helpful and informative. Bar staff similarly so.

The studio was exactly as described on Malcolm's site. The property has a beautiful pool, good tiki bar and the staff was very friendly. Could not have asked for more considering the price! Would recommend it for a week-day stay as the weekend crowd was pretty rowdy.

The location was as listed, right on the beach. It's a great location to enjoy all of the activity in Daytona. It's a hotel room; comfortable and enough space for 2 people. The people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful.

Nice place to stay in Daytona Beach within the price range, right in front of the beach and close to some entertainment spots. Malcolm didn't realized that place was already booked before accepting our request, but he was kind to find another unit for us in the same complex. The only complain is that the smoke detector was too sensitive and the alarm went off a couple of times while toasting bread. Other than that, everything was fine. Keeping the price tag in mind, I would recommend staying here.

Good choice for anyone looking for an affordable stay on the beach. Malcolm was always just a phone call away for any questions I had.

Malcolm's place was nice and very beachy. It was in a perfect location and right on the beach. He was also kind enough to call and check in with us to ensure everything went smoothly when getting the keys to his place. Our only two complaints were about the shower; which was small and a bit dirty, and the construction going on right on the property; which woke us up very early every morning. However, for the price I would definitely recommend this place!

First time using Airbnb and was a little nervous, any questions I had Malcom responded almost immediately. The room was beautiful, clean, and the staff was amazing! I recommend this room to anyone! It was perfect!

The unit is very nice, cozy and decorated tastefully with beach themed items. The kitchen has what we needed and overall we were happy with our stay. The hot plate might need to be replaced as it took a long time to heat up. But it did work so we were happy about that. Details as to where the dumpster is located would help. We couldn't find it so we left our garbage by the garbage cans at the end of the walk way. The biggest negative issue we had (which we don't blame the unit owner for) was the noise from the surrounding units. Perhaps it was just bad timing and we simply picked the wrong week. There were large numbers of college age guests that were loud at all hours of the day and night. We noticed that there were a handful of visitors our age as well as a few families with young children. I imagine they were just as bothered by all the noise. Someone was actually pounding on our door at 3 in the morning most likely thinking it was his room. I suppose we could have complained to the front desk but there is no one there during the night time hours. So we just put up with it. The building needs security or someone that can be called to handle the noise level. We are home now and in hind sight we had a very nice visit to Daytona. We loved our little room, just disappointed at the noise we had to deal with.

This room is lovely. The bed is so soft and everything is very clean. It was wonderful to be so close to the beach and all the sights. We could walk to most places. Melissa was extremely helpful and prompt with replies. I would definetly recommend this to anyone headed to daytona beach. I would love to stay there again!

Was not the restful vacation we were anticipating. Water issues the very first day, but were fixed before the end of the day. Air Conditioning worked continuously just to maintain the temperature inside even with cooler temps outside. Had noise outside room at all hours of the night. Did not feel safe. The saying "you get what you pay for" is very true to its meaning pertaining to these accommodations. We had to cut out vacation short. Contacted host for refund, which no success yet.

Stayed at this cute & cozy studio for a weekend with my husband and kids. The studio was nice and clean, even though there is no full kitchen, it was nicely equipped to make quick meals. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Unit is on the first floor and has easy access to the beach. This unit is very close to the pier and Daytona Beach Night life as well . We loved walking on the beach to the pier on the evenings. If I ever go back to Daytona , I would definitely stay at Melissa's place again :)

Melissa was awesome to work with. Super helpful and incredibly responsive -- just a total sweetheart! We loved staying at the condo. it was a great location -- we just woke up and walked out to the beach! Tons of stuff in walking distance. The condo itself is converted from an old motel. Other units are a bit sketchy but Melissa keeps her unit cleaner than a hospital. It's comfortable and welcoming, she even has beach stuff (chairs, kids basket of toys) available for you! bring your own towels. We will be happy to come back in the future!

I was very impressed with the beach theme set up it was very cozy. Melissa was very fast in answering all my questions and was so helpful. Her place it is just unbelievable everything is near all you need to do is drive to the studio and park your ride it won't be necessary. The queen bed is perfect my 3 girls slept on the sofa bed with no problem. I was able to prepare small and quick meals to. The most exciting part of my trip was me and my girls we able to either go to the pool or beach they are right next to each other. And the most amazing view the SUNRISE I mean it is just priceless. I will definitely book again soon no doubt about it.

This place is very close to the famous attractions in Daytona Beach. PAul was friendly and helpful. I slept like a rock. That couch is magic.

Description of place is accurate. Attempted to contact the owner a few times and got responses about 50% of the time. The oven did not work stove top works great! The air-conditioning did not work efficiently it ran the entire time but it never was cool. The location was perfect right on the beach and a wonderful view on part of the beach that was not busy. Really good access to the pier and boardwalk!

Great place- exactly what we expected and wanted!

Anthony was easy to reach and got us into the room as promised. The room was nice, but in need of a deep clean. The location was the best thing about the place. The Daytona Inn is where the condo is located is in a remodeling phase. It's not the best looking place, but Anthony's room was much better than anything else we saw in the Inn. Parking is great just make sure to keep your pass in your window. For the price and location you will have a tough time finding better. If you are wanting a place to crash with minimal frills this is the place.

Great location

This is a nice location very close to the Pier and boardwalk. It has good parking and feels safe. The balcony overlooks the beach and the ocean, and is convenient. The balcony is also opposite of the swimming pool so the evening noise from kids in the pool is much lighter.

You always hear about people getting ripped off and these places being a scam... I never thought so until my visit at Anthony's. We walked into an unkept mess. Every garbage can full, kitchen a mess, beds not made, blood on the sheets, towels all over the bathroom floor, no toilet paper. Check in was at 3pm but travels didn't get us there till about 7:30pm... After walking into this place I immediately called Anthony asking if there was an issue with cleaning. He apologized for the mistake and told me the cleaning lady would be there by 8:30pm. I asked him if he could cancel the first night and we would stay the second night after it was cleaned appropriately. He said he couldn't cancel just one night. Which was his first lie. I asked if he would refund me the first night which he agreed to. When we checked in the second time, room was actually quite nice. However, Anthony began to come up with excuses as to why he couldn't refund me right away. He first told me Sunday upon check out. On Sunday after check out he told me he didn't receive any payment yet, even though the payment was processed 5 days prior to our stay. He ignored my messages for a few days... He told me he received $199 dollars for my two night stay. I was expecting he would send me $99.50... He sent me $75 dollars.... I told him that wasn't half of what he received and that I was still being overcharged for a room I couldn't stay in the first night. He told me the cleaning fee is a fixed fee that he had no control over. Which was another lie. I realized the reason he told me he couldn't cancel the first night was because he would loose money. He just wanted to have control over how much I got refunded so he could rip me off. He never ended up getting back to me. But what con artist would! I called airbnb. Which is what I should've done in the first place and they took care of the whole thing and told me after reading our conversations that Anthony was indeed lying to me and scamming me!!!! Airbnb takes their customer service very seriously and I hope they removed Anthony's listing from their site to save anyone from this nightmare again!

We really liked everything about your condo: location is great - beach is just across the road, food store couple of blocks away and downtown Daytona Beach just 5-10 minutes away , there are lots of appliances in the kitchen and we even found beach chairs in a closet. There is also a nice outdoor pool. My family and I are looking forward to rent this condo again next year!

The condo's location is great! Beach across the street and pool in the back. Kitchen is well stocked w/ pots & pans, lots of towels and amenities.

Apartment was spacious and clean. Had all the amenities we could want. Beach was a close walk, just across the street. Matthew was accommodating and responded very quickly to all questions. On site parking and guest parking spaces. Definitely a good place to stay if you're in Daytona! Only issue was that the spare key didn't work for some reason, but I let Matthew know and he promptly responded that he would look into it.

The apartment was just as it was described in the listing. Beach access is as close as it could be without paying ocean front pricing - both walk-up & vehicle access is literally across the street from the apartment building. The area is very safe and rather quiet. We would gladly stay here again as the neighbors in the apartment building were also friendly and quiet. The glass top table shown in the living room photo is not the one that was there during our stay BUT with 2 young children that was a relief!

Our family really enjoyed staying at Matthew's place. It is across the street from the beach and has all of the amenities one may need for a successful vacation. Thank you Matthew for hosting us!

Beautifully maintained apartment in a great spot! Owner was very thorough and providing information and following up with me. The apartments was very tidy and nicely decorated. The building is dated, as many on the strip are. The pool area and beach access are ideal. Covered parking was available. Janos' place was great! It was exactly as depicted in the photos and was located really close to a lot of shops and great restaurants. I will definitely use his place when I'm back in Daytona.

The room is great and Janos was very quick at communicating with us. The building itself was quite rundown and sketchy. My main issue was the area in which we were located. It was a very sketchy neighborhood and there were people loitering in and around the parking lot at all hours.

Janis was a great host. The condo was very clean when we arrived. He provided everything you'd think you'd need. Even a few extra beach towels and sunscreen!

The listing unit was exactly as described... and was very accommodating for the two of us, during our stay at Daytona Beach. It was easy to travel to, easy to get into and was relatively quiet the entire stay. I would surely stay again in the future.

The pictures really don't do this place justice. Everything was perfect and thoughtful down to the smallest of details. For the price you really can't ask for anything better. Even the other people living in the condos were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely stay here in the future. The only thing I would let people know is that the elevators are a little bit rickety and the building can seem a bit sketch at night. But once you open that door you are truly in your own secluded piece of paradise. Janos is also super easy to get ahold of and was so nice during our whole experience. He guided us through everything since this was our first true airbnb experience. I could not have asked for a better host!

Stay was excellent. Room is right on the beach with a beautiful view, walking distance to everything, host was extremely helpful when we had any issues, would absolutely stay again

Gloria's place is a great beach get away. The main bed had a full view of the ocean which allows you to wake up to the sun rising over the water. She supplies everything but food, she even supplied beach towels and coffee. The condo has lots of cute sea themed decor and is kept very clean (expect some sand, it is on the beach). Even though she is based out of Italy, she is quick to respond to you. The one bad thing about the condo is the wifi, it was extremely slow. The location is great if all you want is the beach and some fun activities. Right next door is a fishing pier with a cute seafood restaurant on it. There is a marine science center, light house, and boat tours 5 miles south. The main Daytona Beach is 7 miles north with the main night life being 7-10miles north.

Centrally located, balcony has a beautiful view of the ocean. Only issue was inability to use the pool connected to the complex, however I believe they simply changed keys for the lock to the pool. Great value, location, and great accommodations.

Jeannie and her husband (sorry can't remember his name) were very nice. Very kind and helpful people. Their house was better than picture and was very nice! The location was great too. I would definitely go back to her place whenever I visit Daytona :)

Wow! This place was far, far better than the photos. It was wonderful, in a great, quiet location and Jeannie and her husband were fantastic. They followed up with us and truly made us feel like part of the family. If you need a place of quiet tranquility in Daytona (perhaps as you recuperate!), this is the place. Worth far more than what they are charging per night. We will definitely be back, and may fight some of you to get our preferred dates.

Our family of 4 had a great stay at Jeannie's. Jeannie & John were very hospitable and warm hosts. Everything was just as shown in the photos. The place was clean, very spacious & well-provided for. It's a close walk to the quieter side of Daytona beach, so it's absolute wonderful if you like to spend time at the beach. We were even given many extra towels for beach use. Thanks a lot Jeannie & John!

Jeannie and John were wonderful hosts! They made us feel so very comfortable and welcome in our home away from home. The photos online don't do this lovely home (URL HIDDEN) even more beautiful when you see it in person! It's neat, clean, and perfectly decorated for a beach vacation. The neighborhood is charming and only a short walk to the beach, which we enjoyed as often as we could during our busy stay. We loved coming home at the end of the day to our quiet, lovely home. Our stay at "SeaShell Jean's" was perfect in every way and we would love to stay here again. We recommend it highly!

This was the perfect place!! I absolutely loved how clean Jeannie's place was. Also, it was nice to actually get to meet her at the house when we arrived. We will book again for our next vacation to Daytona. This place is also the perfect distance to Main Street for bike week.

We had an amazing time. The owners were wonderfully friendly and very accomodating. The home was beautifully kept and met our every need. We have now found our home for bike week and will be back for many years to come.

This was a great room at a great price! The location could not be any better. It is easy to find and close to all the great amenities Daytona has to offer. The beach here is at the beginning of the non-driving portion of the beach which is perfect if you have kids with you on vacation. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely check the availability here before we book again somewhere else. Marvin is a wonderful host who did his best to make sure we had everything we needed to have an awesome vacation. I cannot say enough just how great our stay here was!

The place was exactly what we were looking for. It was close to everything. We did not have to use the car once to get around town. It was clean and check in was super easy. It was a great stay!

Marvin was a great host! He was very responsive to our inquiries and very friendly. He made us feel welcome and at home. The room was exactly like the pictures and the location couldn't be better.

The apartment was as described. Good value, right on the beach and clean.

Marvin's apartment is part of the Daytona Inn Beach Resort located on Daytona Beach. The complex was probably very nice when it was new but is now in a bad need of renovations both inside the apartment and outside. Marvin's pictures of the inside of the apartment are accurate. The view of the ocean is from the other side of the complex/apt and the ocean view of the boardwalk is from the kitchen side window. The pool is nice and we enjoyed walking to the beach right outside the complex. Marvin was very nice texting us the code for the door and answering any questions we had during our stay. Our favorite hangout was the "Ocean Deck" a quick walk down the beach and for seafood go where the locals go "Hulls Seafood Market and Restaurant". We also liked that we were close to the boardwalk and on Friday and Saturday nights they have concerts at the band shell.
