The wash wasn't done when we arrived and therefore we must do the making up the bed. However, this is just a small criticism. The accommodations are great. We love to come back at this place.

The communication was horrible. I asked ahead of time how check in would work (where to park, where to get keys, etc.) I told him the approximate time of arrival and tried to work everything out before hand. Directions were very poor. If I did not have cellular reception it would have been impossible to check in. The apartment itself is quite nice it is new and clean. The lady that greeted us was very very nice, she gave us the keys but she was not informed in time by the host that there were 4 of us so we had to set up the sofa bed ourselves. Overall nice place but extremely disorganized I would not recommend if you are visiting from out of town and will not have a functioning cellphone/do not speak the language.

We were in Sezana on a short holiday and Maja's studio was great starting point for exploring Karst. The studio is modern and tastefully furnished. We loved it. Maja and her family were very nice and helpful. We had a great time.

We have been to Sezana from Decemb(PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) to January 2, 2017. Maja is a caring and thoughtful hostess. He booked a flake dinner in a nearby restaurant, where we ate and tasted a lot of wines in the area. The apartment is small but well furnished and gives you the impression of being spacious. The apartment is beautiful, full of details arranged with love. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom nice and clean, the bed comfortably. The apartment is located in the center of Sezana, around Sezana there are so many things to see, we have been to Lipica, famous for horses. We will definitely be back because the landscape is really very nice and full of things to discover.

We had a great stay, everything was beautifully presented and everything we would need was there. Would recommend to friends for sure!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Maja's studio for 4 nights and absolutely loved it! This boutique apartment was filled with her beautiful art, the interior looked like it was designed for a magazine. All the amenities were brand new despite the age of the building. The queen bed was very comfortable, and the apartment was absolutely spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed her hospitality as well as how at home we felt the moment we walked in. Her family was very welcoming - giving us treats and local beer upon our arrival. The location was convenient- a short walk from a bank, grocery store and pizzeria. It is an ideal location if travelling by car, short drive to Lipica stud farm and Famous Cave systems, 60 mins to Ljubljana, 90 mins to Lake Bled/Vintgar Gorge. This place was the perfect launch pad to see all the beautiful things Slovenia has to offer. I highly recommend this spot for those travelling to Slovenia.

Maja's place is very welcoming and beautifully designed. We were welcomed with some treats made by Maja's mama and fresh cherries that were so much appreciated by our boys. The appartment is located in the middle of the little town but with a little inner garden space with big tree providing a shade and 4 cats seducing to have some chill time. We spent at Maja's place one night on ur way to Skocjan caves and it was very conveniant location - just some 15 minutes to ride to Skocjan. Would definitely recomend for families and a small group of friends.

The Eli accommodation is perfect for those who want a comfortable, a little 'secluded from the city, served efficiently by public transport (The house is in a village outside the city but you get downtown with a local rate). The hospitality is perfect, the cottage is cozy and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped and there is always everything needed for a hearty breakfast. Nice open space with barbeque, which unfortunately we did not use because it was too cold and it rained a lot '. Elizabeth and Alexander are always attentive, kind and immediately available to provide information or take action if necessary. We have been fine!

Start your stay with a beautiful and warm welcome, with their readiness to check in late in the evening given my late arrival; likeable people, simple, humble, willing to give advice and help if needed! The house is exactly as in the picture, well-made furniture and appliances as well as modern. Situated in a strategic location, just minutes from the border, the bus stop into the city center just outside the front door, and services and amenities within walking distance. So my experience from Shuling was perfect. I recommend everyone this place for an experience like mine. I will definitely be back!

strategically located apartment, close to Slovenia and a step away from the city, the photos are propio those of the apartment, which is equipped with all the amenities, there is also the movie service, cartons, neflix, etc ... ,free!!! truly luxurious !!! concessions to the restaurant opposite the house, large parking area for excellent .Veramente machine from all points of view, definitely 24/24 Shuling a top board in Trieste !!!

We had a very warm welkom. The appartment was very beautifull, modern and proper. Well situated near public transport and restaurants. A private parking place and a lot of information and tips about the city off Trieste from the appartment owners.

This place was absolutely fantastic! A beautiful apartment! Simon was very friendly and helpful! Only thing is that it is a bit far from the center, but the apartment is so nice and for an excellent price, I totally recommend it!

I often encountered very nice hosts, but Shuling and her husband, the architect Simone, are simply delightful. Gentle and helpful, they provide all the information you need and "pamper you" even offering you a nice breakfast. The apartment is then better than it looks in the pictures: spacious, furnished and equipped with every comfort, with TV and air conditioning in each room and super-equipped kitchen. The bus (1.25 euro ticket) leaves and comes home and takes you directly to the center, while the car is comfortably parked behind the house: very comfortable! Would recommend it to everyone!

Mateja's zenja house is the perfect place to stay to visit the caves and all around.

We came to the Zenja apartments not knowing really what to expect, and were overwhelmed by the high standard. The apartments are newly renovated with everything you could expect. Very clean and everything in mint condition. Mateja speaks good English and knows the area very well. There are some nice walks in wonderful nature. If you come to look at the caves the position could not be better! It is a 15 minute brisk walk to the Skocjan info centre where the cave tours start. Mateja also gave us a 10 percent discount voucher for the cave tours. I was stupid not to read the directions, but if you do walking to the apartment from the railway station is easy. Mateja also offered us a ride, an offer we took going back to the station. The apartment is part of a small apartment complex that has a gym, a bigger kitchen and even a place for massages. It would be perfect for a bigger group to book it all.

Mateja has 4 apartments, completely new and very stylish. I suggest the apartments on the first floor, with respect to the ground, for the view and brightness. Mateja is very helpful with suggestions on what to do and where to eat. Beautiful walk the walk up to the caves of Skocjan. Mateja also provides courses in meditation and Zen that I seemed interesting, especially since practiced in such a beautiful place, but I have not got to try. Maybe next time...

Mateja was very good, very helpful, greeted us on arrival, shown to the apartment and explained all the attractions of the area. The apartment is located in a quiet and easily reachable from the highway; it appeared clean, equipped with all comfort and private parking space and fenced.

Mateja was very kind and responsive. We were met by her father who welcomed us with drinks and showed us to our room. The room is very nice, modern, with high end amenities. It was quite luxurious. There is a lovely walking and biking trail that takes your straight to the caves just down the road from the house. This was a great place to stay.

Location and reception were perfect, we got Mateja's many tips for excursions and restaurants in the area. For both a relaxing and active holiday a good place.

Mateja's apartment is really close to Škocjan Cave. It is a nice experience to walk through the education path and visit the cave. However, it would be quite tough to join Tour 1 & 2 in the cave and then walk back to the apartment. Drive to the cave unless you are fit or have a whole day here. The apartment is quiet, clean, and close to Divača. You could get almost everything needed within 10 minutes. The private parking space is small. Drive here with a compact car. By the way, try the restaurant Mateja suggests. They are good.

Silvia is a wonderful hostess. She showed us what all around we visited and advised us. With everything we were completely satisfied. The apartment was clean and modern. The only pity is that there is no wifi in the apartment, but it's not unbeatable.

The Silvia apartment is located in a quiet area just outside of the center, which is easily accessible on foot or by public transport. Excellent cleaning, services, hospitality. The pictures correspond perfectly to reality. Silvia is a nice and extremely helpful host, a loved one that we will certainly pleasure to meet again if we return to Trieste!

This was our first time using airbnb and we were so absolutely lucky to have Silvia as our host! She met us in person, dropped us off to the university near by, gave us maps of Trieste and all the information needed to get around. She was helpful in every sense with all the little details covered (cab number, bus tickets, there's even an andriod phone charger!). The condo is stunning and very very clean! the beds were comfortable. even with no a/c it was not an issue for us - just open the windows! There's no WiFi but the TV has lots of channels and you can watch movies/TV shows in English by changing the settings. The bus stop is less than a min walk from the condo, there's a grocery store near by, and getting to the center of Trieste is easy by bus and only about 10 euro cab ride. Thanks, Silvia, for making our stay comfortable and convenient! You went above and beyond!!

Very nice apartment, it has a lot of style, great trattoria called Da Pippo just around the corner. Everything would be fine if there wasn't heating issue. Mara gave us instructions how to start stove once it is turned off. Stove was running until midnight and than stopped working with no way to start up again. So morning was cold with 15-16 degrees inside. In summer, this could be the best accommodation in city.

Mara was excellent host, we had great communication prior the arrival. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. The location is near the center of Trieste if you are traveling with your own car. Next to the house there is a safe parking lot. Highly recommended!

The flat is simple but very nice to stay, bright and clean and welcoming (good bathroom!), only the traffic noise is to consider if you are not accustomed to it. The position in Opicina is perfect, near to shops of every kind and to very nice restaurants - we liked most Cafe Vatta and the Buffet Angolina at the corner, but also the buffet Pizzeria with the shadowy terrace. If you come without car it is quite easy to get to Trieste by bus, but for late-night-party-tigers this is not the best option, because the last bus back is soon after midnight. For me this was very okay. In summer consider also, that the air in Opicina is remarkably fresher that in Trieste. The communication with Mara was very good, even if we had not the chance to meet her in person - her mother took us kindly from the bus. The sweet surprises in the flat were also a real goodie!

The appartement is a good "rear base" to visit Trieste (bus line 2 approx 400m to reach Trieste every 20 minutes) and the Karst. Mara is an accomodating person. Unfortunatly we didn't meet her. We managed the check-in / check-out with her by sms without difficulties. We enjoyed Trieste, Opicina and the Karst.

We stopped at Anna and Valeria again. It was the most pleasant return to the familiar cozy hospitable house. I want to note that Anna and Valeria immediately reacted to all our questions and requests. They tried to make our stay as comfortable and interesting as possible. This is the gold standard for quality airbnb!

We had a great time at Anna and Valeria's home, the location is beautiful and immersed in greenery and quiet. We had a car so we preferred a relaxed and secluded accommodation compared to the city center and, for those looking for it, I would recommend this solution as Opicina still offers the convenience of services such as markets and restaurants, and from what I understand it is well connected Even with public transport. The apartment is inside a larger villa, but has an independent entrance and a garden area that as common as it can be exploited in complete tranquility. The hosts are very hospitable and nice, they offered us availability and courtesy! The apartment is equipped with every desirable comfort, very neat and welcoming!

Just Awesome Apartment !! Is an apartment with independent entrance in a villa surrounded by greenery in Opicina, slightly outside Trieste, but a few minutes from the center by car. Private parking inside, well-kept garden with a hammock and tables. The apartment is just perfect, modern decor, super clean, provided with everything you need. Valeria was super nice and helpful! Has also made us available the hooves just harvested from the tree in the garden! In short, this house is a little gem !! I will definitely stay here again!

Opicina is a quite village near Triëst. It's perfect for day trips along the coast. And then there is this beautiful appartment with a fantastic garden and two lovely cats. Anna and Valeria are very attentive and lovely hosts.

We are grateful to Anna and Valeria for their hospitality. This apartment is 5 * - cozy, beautiful, maximum thoughtful! We lived better than at home. For the first time I was staying in a house where so much attention was paid to ergonomics. Sockets, multi-level lighting, layout - wonderful. Doors-compartments save space. Textile is high quality. The kitchen is small but fully equipped. The dishes are more than enough. Considered all the little things - spices, salt, sugar, olive oil, toothpicks, paper towels. It is convenient to cook and wash dishes. The bathroom is more beyond praise! In the bedroom there is a well-planned wardrobe. The table and chest of drawers from the solid wood in the living room give an accent to antiquity. The apartment is not hot even in the peak of the August heat, so the lack of air conditioning will not cause inconvenience. The garden around the house is a simple paradise. Hammock, lawn, dear cats, especially Ugo! In the house there are beautiful pictures. The girls made a map of the town of Opichina, in which all important and necessary places are marked.  We were so pleased that we did not want to leave! We recommend it to everyone!

Casa confortevole a Trieste a pochi minuti dal centro via bus (la fermata è sotto casa). L'appartamento è ampio e ben curato, molto pulito. Dora è disponibilissima e lascia la casa con tantissimi utilissimi "extra" (biscotti vari e dolci per la colazione) oltre a tutto il necessario per godersi il soggiorno. Proprio sotto casa per un veloce pranzo c'è un bar, la dolce vita, dove si può fare ottimi spuntini a prezzi modici (simpaticissimi i proprietari).

We were really pleased to stay at Constanza's place. The flat looks exactly like on the picture. Really nice place that makes guests feel at home. Everything was alright, the host is very nice.

The apartment is very nice, clean. Precisely fits the description. Air conditioning really saved us from the heat. Bus stop very close where you can get to the center (10 min) and to the beach. We all really enjoyed it. Costanza was very kind and caring. Met us despite we arrived very late. I recommend this apartment.

Constance welcomes you with simplicity and naturalness and makes you feel at ease. The accommodation is clean, spacious and well organized. Under the house they terminate 2-3 buses that are strategic to move around the city in all directions including sea. In about 30 minutes you will be surprised to find yourself among the beachfront bathers as you were at the beach. Not least the closeness of shops and supermarkets for good spending. In short, a quiet and convenient area with the amenities. Highly recommended

Great hospitality, kindness and maximum availability! The family lives in the same building so for any need always easy to contact. It's great to have a car seat, especially when you come back in the evening. Quiet neighborhood and well served by all means to get anywhere and every business for any need. Well stocked house of all comforts, well-heated, equipped with great WiFi network, TV and everything that may be useful.

The house is in a great location to get to the center of Trieste by bus in a few minutes. Very convenient the availability of the private garage made available. The apartment looks like as a photo, clean neat and equipped with everything; Glenda and her father are available for every need .... but it was not necessary to disturb them: the apartment is perfect. Valentina We contacted the day before the trip, we responded immediately with kindness. Upon our arrival there has been very well received by providing information and advice about the area and the city. The house is perfect both for quality and for the location, 25 minutes walk from the center and the bus stop for the center and train close. Host and home consigliatissimi.

Valentina was very friendly even considering that we booked last minute. Apartment renovated and cozy, unfortunately placed in a decentralized, among old houses and in a strait (for the car) and dimly lit. Anyway we never had any sense of danger or problems. We would have expected to find the minimum necessary for a quick breakfast but no problem, Trieste is famous for its coffee!

We had a nice stay in Trieste, the apartment is in a really quite neighborhood close to the Botanical garden and far away from the tourist crowds. The apartment is high on a hill so a lot of walking is required. The apartment is very clean, everything seems pretty new and it is spacious, though it has a modern bathroom the shower is very tiny ( I am a small person and I had difficulties).The apartment doesn't have much kitchen utensils if you plan to cook your own meals, luckily there is a nice restaurant of local food and a bar that serve snacks near by. The apartment doesn't have many amenities like tv, radio or wifi.

We loved Vale's apartment! Although the kitchen is relatively small, we loved our stay and used our car to travel to different beaches around Trieste. On the topic of cars: the streets around the apartment are quite narrow, but luckily we had a small car, so that wasn't a big issue for us.

It was very helpful as we booked very late and she struggled to get everything right. The truth is that the apartment is somewhat difficult to locate, especially at night, but it is very quiet and cozy.

Easy check in and out with lots of advice on where to go. We liked the wood pannelled lift, marble stairs, huge wardrobes and high ceilings. 20 minutes walk or short bus to the centre and port. Trieste has a unique and enjoyable personality. Very glad we visited.

Federica's apartment is in a great central location and provides all the necessary. We've been there for a very short stay but she's been really helpful with a flexible check-in/out.

We spent a wonderful weekend in Trieste, the excellent accommodation and with some "nice" trick. Great for kids. We will definitely be back, the next.

The place looks exactly as described on photos. It is in good location if you are staying with car, because the parking in the neighborhood is free. It is around 15-20 minutes to city center by foot (even with 2 small kids, like we were) because its downhill. If you don't want to walk uphill in return, you can take a taxi which is 7.5 euros. As Federica told us, there is also direct bus to/from harbor. The apartment was spotless and it has everything you need for a stay. More that enough towels, clean sheets, amenities in the bathroom and dishes in the kitchen. Also in the kitchen you can find coffee, tea and sugar bags. Federica is excellent host. She answered all my messages instantly, which I find very important. Communication was great and accurate.

Very clean appartment, located in a neighborhood 20mins downhill walking to the city center. When you come back though from the center a bus or a cab(7-8 eur) should be taken as the house is uphill. The owner is really helpfull and kind. Moreover in the flat there is a map provided as well as a book handwritten by the owner with recomendations for food, drinks, pizza etc which is very helpfull. My only suggestion would be that the flat had wifi in the future. We had a great stay there

The housing Federica is nice in a quiet area, not too far from downtown. The only drawback is the difficulty to park when coming by car.
