Bar
“23 minutes. There is a real sense of history, and a hint of quirkiness, when you call into the bar & restaurant at the George Hotel. In the same family ownership for generations The George is a favourite with the locals. Go on in and enjoy the atmosphere.”

“INverawe Smokehouse. The best smoked trout in Scotland (and much nicer than the salmon). Good cafe and shop. Fishing lessons on the ponds available and fly fishing on the River Awe in season. Good walks round the country park and great exhibition, only 2 rooms, perfect size! Sometimes closed off season”

“Amazing curries to take home and heat up. It's a bit of a trek from Oban but if you are on a drive out this way these are worth a detour!”

“Food is ok, not sure but there used to be entertainment in the bar on a Friday night. Good for a night out, not far for walking home either and a wee tipple or two”
