“A world class art gallery -- spanning the globe and historical eras -- set in an early example of one of architecture's great masters, Louis Kahn (see his later masterpiece across the street: the Yale Center for British Art). A newer addition has expanded the experience.”

Museum
“This is one of the oldest and most prolific natural history museums in the world. Founded in 1866 it contains the Great Hall of Dinosaurs, multiple exhibits dedicated to human and mammal evolution, wildlife dioramas, Egyptian artifacts, birds, minerals and Native American displays. There are hands on exhibits for the kids and is located in a beautiful area of New Haven right in the Yale University grounds.”

“Founded in 1925 by Frank Pepe - this local pizzeria is renowned for establishing the "New Haven-style thin-crust apizza" baked in coal-fired ovens topping 800 degrees. Expect long lines with both locals and tourists, but catch it at an off hour and enjoy a real treat.”

Scenic Lookout
“Home to the infamous Taylor Swift! Catch a glimpse while browsing the shops or taking a walk to the lighthouse. Also be sure to check out The Ocean House and if you have littles ones, The Flying Horse Carousel is the oldest operating carousel in the US in which the horses are suspended from chains. This is conveniently located next to St. Clare's Annex which has the best homemade ice cream in the area. Olympia Tea Room has great dinner with great views as well!”

“Mark Twain's home is a beautiful Queen Anne style design, and the tours are fabulous. They also have a gallery and host exhibits featuring many different artists, so a visit here goes beyond just the works of Mark Twain. It's also directly next to the home of Harriet Beecher Stowe, so you can visit both with one stop.”

“Better known as just "LUNCH" this is probably the most famous lobster roll in the Hamptons. 20 minute drive and sitting just off Montauk Highway, it's hard to find a better lunch than lunch.”

Hotel
“It used to be that if you wanted to party on the East End, you were either battling the lines and awful people at horrible clubs like Pink Elephant (RIP) and Jet East (RIP) in Southampton, reverting to your old college ways at Stephen’s Talkhouse, or getting really messy at The Point and Memory Motel in Montauk (which is absolutely still a good idea). Now, everyone just goes to the Surf Lodge - or tries to. At this point, Saturday nights are completely off limits. It’s an absolute zoo. We get our Surf Lodge in around 6 or 7pm for an early cocktail and live music, or on a rainy Friday when it’s empty. Eating a full meal here isn’t necessary, unless you’re booking with the hopes of eating dinner here to skip the line.”
