Hugo was an incredible host from beginning to start, offering to give us a ride from the station to his place and even catching a collectivo in the street when we were trying to reach the Chinkultik ruins. The place itself is beautiful, luminous, airy and close to markets, banks, etc. Refommended , I would definitely go back !

I could not imagine a more welcoming and overall pleasant experience as my first using Airbnb. Hugo provided helpful suggestions to penetrate the surface of Comitan, and really took pride in his community and its many faces. He also went out of his way to care for my partner who was ill. The apartment was way more spacious and cozy than we expected. Comitan now has a piece of our hearts, gracias a Hugo y su familia.

Hugo and Marta could not have been better hosts. Hugo picked us up at the bus station after a very long trip from Washington, DC. The home was beautiful and very clean. They made us immediately comfortable, and filled the kitchen with water, coffee, tea, fruit and sweet bread. Every detail was considered, I loved it there and hope to return next year. Dont pass up this gem of a home.

Hugo is a terrific host, very warm and friendly. He was great with communication before and during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is absolutely charming; even more beautiful than in the pictures. I would love to stay here again someday!
