Wonderful once there! Even after we asked, we still weren't provided with directions to get to the house form the main road. GPS doesn't provide either. Get specific directions up the hill to the street and house. Parking was not 100m away. We told host we would arrive at set time and we did and waited an hour. Had to get a neighbor to call her for us and she came. Once inside, all was lovely! Perfect. Great location and the hosts are lovely!

Our family of 4 (kids under 12) spent 3 days at Como Lake, stopping at Walter's place. The apartment is located in a very good place, where the pedestrian route Como's Green Road begins. Although there are no ships stopping in the Colonno, that's not a problem, because it takes 20 minutes of walking to reach the neighboring city with lake navigation. The house is typical Italian, making you feel the atmosphere of living by the lake. Clean, comfortable, there is everything you need, and nothing fancy above that. Walter is very punctual, friendly and hospitable. I'd recommend this apartment for staying by the lake.

Consistent with all other reviews, Gloria was a great host. Very responsive and helpful with recommendations for the area. She speaks Italian, French and English. The flat is basically the entire downstairs of her family's house and they live in the upstairs part - totally blocked off. The decor and facilities of the house are pretty dated, but its all in excellent condition. View is as shown in the pictures, but the house is not right on the edge of the lake - there is a road between the house and the lake. The family is really nice and were very helpful. The location was fine - its one of the many small villages along the lake and has a couple of restaurant options. There is an actual supermarket about 20 minute walk from the house or there is a convenience store in the village, about 5 minutes walk. Its also walking distance to boat hire (must do) and some of the villas (about 30 mins).

The views from the property were superb - even better than the photographs. And the location was very convenient to tour around Lake Como. Gloria was able to provide useful information on how to see the area, where to park, etc.

Our stay at this apartment was an enjoyable one and trouble free. The apartment was super clean, beds were really comfortable, good wi-fi, outstanding view from both bedrooms and living room and a wide selection of tv channels. Bedrooms are spacious especially the main one with lots of furniture to store clothes in. Gloria Elena and her brother who lives just upstairs, were really friendly and they took interest in our itinerary every day and gave us lots of recommendations on what to do/visit. Gloria also left a free Prosecco wine which we really enjoyed drinking on the deck chairs provided just in front of Lake Como. I definitely recommend this accommodation. Gloria's house was charming, quiet, and with incredible views overlooking Lake Como. The bed was super comfortable and the morning sunlight is divine. Having a garage to park your car was also perfect. Gloria was an attentive host and was helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to bus information to tips for ferries and making the most of your stay. Her family lived just next door and they all provided a warm, local welcome. Her village is quaint and quintessential but so well located for exploring all the hot spots. Just outside her door is the Greenway, a famous and beautiful walk with panoramic views of the lake and surrounding villages. And just in front of her village is a boat ride to Comancina island, a dining experience not to be missed! I highly recommend Gloria's home for anyone traveling to lake Como!

Gloria and her family was very welcoming. They took great care, and have kept the place immaculately well. The place has amazing view and waking up to the beautiful lake view and having breakfast sitting outside was an amazing experience. The place has a fully functional kitchen. Gloria did everything possible to make are stay comfortable, and provided us all the information we needed and even arranged for us bus tickets for commuting. A nice pizzeria right in front of the house makes it even more convenient. Walking on Como Lake roads is a bit frightening and renting a car definitely makes sense. But i would return to this place any day, and for a longer duration this time.

We were 2 couples and the size of the apartment was perfect, felt very spacious. The main double had a good sized bed, the second room were two smaller singles. The bathroom has a compact shower that may not suit all. It is quite retro in its design but it suits the environment. Beautiful views from every room of the lake and some lovely restaurants just below on the waterfront. The host was charming. We highly recommend this place to explore the stunning area from.

We spend a wonderful time in Lella's apartment. The communication with her was very reliable and uncomplicated. Her daughter was very friendly, she even did send us a charger home that we accidently left in the apartment. Our highlight of the apartment was definitely the balcony with the beautiful sea view. I can recommend this place to spend some nice and quiet couple of days with the unique Italian atmosphere.

We stayed at Balcone sull Isola for 5 days. The house was charming and had everything we needed. We were welcomed by Lella's daughter Chiara, who showed us around the house and made us feel at home and very welcome. It's just a few meters from the edge of Lake Como with a superb view across the lake to Isola Comacina, the only island on Lake Como. The house is nestled in the heart of the ancient village and we could just feel the history of this wonderful community. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again. Location of this property was ideal, with restaurants either side and others within easy walking distance, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location of the ferries were within a short distance. the house was very clean and had everything we needed, the little shop provided us with our morning croissants. ideal for a lovely relaxing holiday. will be recommending this house to our friends.

We had a fantastic time in Lella's beautiful house . It was exactly as described in the listing, only better. The view was amazing and it was incredible sitting on the balcony each morning within feet of Lake Como and hearing the lapping of the water each night as we fell asleep. The village is typically Italian. We bought tasty Italian bread and ham each morning in the tiny local shop and had a wonderful meal in the lovely restaurant feet from the house. We met Chiara, Lella's daughter who was so warm and welcoming and they left us wine, water and lemonade for our girls. Very thoughtful. The house was wonderfully cool to return to after a long day under the hot Italian sun and we enjoyed cooling off with a refreshing swim in the lake each night. This is a magical place and we can't wait to return.

Nella casetta c'era tutto, compreso il WIFI, dalle lenzuola alle asciugamani, saponi, shampoo, piatti, bicchieri...insomma pronta per l'uso!:) Non sono state necessarie ulteriori richieste. La casa e' molto accogliente e comoda. Il terrazzino ha vista sul lago e sull' isola, proprio come nella foto e fare colazione la' fuori la mattina o un te o un caffe il pomeriggio, e' una sensazione unica e un panorama da sballo. La sera, la pace dei sensi, si sente solo il rumore dell'acqua del lago! Il posto e' molto rilassante, non c'e' confusione, si respira aria pura, molto verde e il paesello e' un incanto, molto suggestivo! L'abbiamo girato tutto a piedi. Meraviglioso. Mi sono innamorata completamente di quel posto. Per chi vuole visitare il lago o andare a Como ci sono ferry boat proprio sotto casa. Noi siamo andati in macchina affittata a Malpensa e il parcheggio e' molto vicino casa e non si paga:), 2 minuti a piedi:) Per chi vuole rilassarsi e godersi aria pura, tanto verde e natura lo consiglio assolutamente. Ci sono bellissimi parchi nei dintorni e ristoranti buonissimi, tipici del posto! C e' anche un bar ristorante vicinissimo casa per chi vuole mangiare una pizza o fare un aperitivo, ammirando il panorama. Comunque Lella e' a completa disposizione per informazione di qualsiasi tipo. Non ci siamo mai sentiti soli e a disagio! The house is as shown in the photos. Our stay was idyllic, especially for the dinner on the terrace with views of Lake Como. The house is spacious and perfect for a group of people, especially with children. Cinzia, the lady who takes care of the house is very attentive and gave us good advice. We appreciate her flexibility for the checkin and checkout. However, access to the house is a little complicated, but worth it. Thanks a lot to Clémence to answer all our doubts also!!!

We rented this townhouse in Colonno for a small family reunion at Lake Como and it was the perfect fit. From the welcoming e-mails answering the many questions, to the friendly contact person on the ground in Colonno, everything was seamless and easy. The house was clean and perfectly suited for a small group and the highlight was the beautiful and spacious terrace overlooking the town, Lake Como and the mountains. Colonno is a less touristy town on Lake Como but all the important cities, towns and sights on the Lake are located within an short drive which makes Colonno a great base to explore the Lake Como region. Thank you for hosting us for a very memorable vacation!

This is a great affordable place on Lake Como with all the basic things you may need. The house is a bit difficult to access if you are not fit (you have to park at the top of the hill and walk down) and some rooms still need to be renovated, but the view of the lake makes it all worthwhile. Almost every bedroom offers a lake view. The host is easily reachable through phone or email and there is a local person living nearby available to attend to any emergencies or questions. We went there with a group of 6 friends and it was perfect.

Clemence has a beautiful place in Colono. There are spectacular lake views from almost every room. We highly recommend the place for people who are comfortable doing a bit of exercise. If you leave the house to explore there is a decent sized hill to walk up and down.

What a tremendous treat it was to stay in Clemence's house in Colonno. Cinzia was extremely helpful, helping with everything we needed, including a late check-in that her son assisted with. There are nothing but wonderful things to say about the home - the views are amazing, the house is impeccable - large, yet charming - and the location is close to manh towns on Como, each one a jewel (Colonno included). Or stay was truly magical and we cannot wait to return. Grazie per tutto!

Very nice large house that was well equipped for a large group. We had 6 people stay in mid June 2015. Had internet and plenty of room to spread out and a great patio for eating. Property was as expected, had all critical items for a longer stay including fully equipped kitchen. Host met us on time and as expected with no surprises and took us to the property. Easy to lock up and leave and a great view of the lake and close to a long path for walking. 200m to the local store, very reasonable daily walk for supplies. Can recommend for anyone with a larger group to stay on Lake Como. Boat rental within 5km, ferry to Bellagio, 1 hour drive to Lugano, 20 minutes to Cuomo. Very nice neighbors and community made the experience restful and relaxing. Only negatives - No internal AC could be warmer than expected during mid day, but morning and evening were great with windows open. It was a fairly long walk down stairs - maybe 70 steps which was good exercise, but was a bit of surprise the distance between parking when carrying luggage for those that do not pack light. Once luggage was there, no issues until the walk back up, but was worth it.

We stayed 12 people + 1 child at Clémence's and had a great time. The spacious patio was a great place to take in the breathtaking views of the Como lake. The village is very small with a couple of restaurants (none which was open during our stay unfortunately), and the adjoining villages is just 5 minutes by car. The kitchen is big and easy to cook for many. The house has many toys and games for entertainment.

An absolute jewel in the heart of Lake Como. You couldn't ask for a more wonderful host, Virginia was absolutely central to the success of my first visit. She incredibly helpful as I was travelling alone and made me feel so welcome! Importantly Virginia was equally conscious of leaving me to get on with things. Casa Virginia is perfect for those wishing to explore and not wanting to stay in a hotel. It is perfectly situated right by the only island on Como and there is a lovely village feel and atmosphere in Sala Comacina. Immaculately clean and incredibly sweet are the best words to describe this place. There was even water, milk, wine and breakfast nibbles that Virginia had provided. If you want a truly local experience I cannot recommend this highly enough and would go back in a flash. Already planning a visit back to Casa Virgina next year with my family!

We had very good days in this appartment. Everything worked very well and the communication with Virgina was good. We enjoyed the pretty small village at the lake. Virginia offers a private parking place and we took the bus to Como and other places. It was very convenient.

She even offered us private parking in this small village, where there is actually almost no parking for tourists. we have spend two nights in sala comacina in the beautiful apartment of virginia. virgina was a great host, she showed us around and even offered to show us the little village. in the fridge was jam and butter for breakfast ready, we could help ourselves and eat real italian biscottis. everything was very clean and nicely decorated. and there was a bottle of red wine on the table. the apartment is very centrally located, a few steps to the lake and the boat to the island. just around the corner, there is a wonderful Restaurant with delicious food. if we visit the lac of como again, we will come back to virginia's apartment!

We had a very nice stay at Casa Virginia. Our host Virginia welcomed us warmly when we arrived. The little appartment is perfect for 1 or 2 couples (large bed + sleeping sofa) and provides a nice bathroom and kitchen. We were well supplied with towels, shampoo and some breakfast dishes. Virginia has been such a nice person to meet. Her flat has been totally clean and beautiful. It is central in Sala Comacina and so close to the lake to go swimming. Over all I would highly recommend to stay at Virginias Casa.

Ah, the Internet. Connection didn't work because hostess hadn't paid for data. Made a big show of trying to get it to work, and we still had to go to her house the next day to get it fixed. Geraldine was a wonderful Host. She gave us a very warm welcome and showed us not only the house but the surrounding area as well. She is a very warm-hearted person and gives you the feeling that you are a part of this small village. The apartment is in an excellent condition and very close to the piazza and the lake (maybe 10m?). We loved our stay there and would book this apartment every time again. Casa Geraldine Village Apartment is terrific very comfortable with that personal touch. If you decide to stay here you will be happy you did, the location is excellent as the ferry stops here or you can use the bus service to move around. Try the speed boat hire in Lenno and cable car to pigra, Geraldine gave us lots of good advice on where we could visit. I went to Sala Comacina from Geraldine for 3 days, from the 31 of December 2014. Geraldine is a great host, she welcomed us in a very nice way, she invited us for the New Year's eve also with her friends. The apartment is very nice and tidy, well furnished and full of comforts, building on 2 floors. There is also a beautiful fireplace and the television is with decoders for international channels. The apartment is in a nice position, absolutely not far from the lake, and the town is very cute! Probably the best season for visiting Sala Comacina is Spring-Summer, when the peculiar restaurant on the near island is open, but in winter' sunny days the landscape is awesome. Definitely, I highly recommend the apartment and Geraldine.

Geraldine was an exceptional host! We couldn't have asked for a better experience and Geraldine went above and beyond anything we could have imagined for our stay. Her place is perfect - very clean, very reasonably priced and has everything you need: comfy bed, kitchen, internet and literally a 15 second walk from the front door to a beautiful area right on the lake (looking out to Isola Comacina). Tea, coffee, milk, bread and even wine were provided for us to enjoy! Geraldine speaks English (Originally from London) and Italian and assisted us throughout our whole experience as we needed. She provided detailed and helpful instructions to find her place, met us from the bus and helped us to settle in. During our stay she was on hand to help us find different places, provide advice on the best places to eat and help us with our Italian! Everything about our stay with Geraldine was right out of a storybook dream. The apartment was clean cozy and very comfortable. The pictures depict the place perfectly. It was conviently located 35 to 40 min walk to the grocery store just as explained. It's also located near two restaurants and two bars with wifi. However the best part of our stay was Geraldine and her friends. Don't be afraid to meet the locals. They truly made our stay wonderful. We drank we dance and we laughed. It was difficult to say goodbye. We highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to come back.

Geraldine is an amazing host! She was very prompt with communication and left us little treats on arrival and helped us find a car park in Sala Comacina. Her villa is very clean, cosy and comfy and in a lovely location right near two delicious restaurants and the ferry wharf to Bellagio! We look forward to coming back :)

The house is in a lovely location and has everything you will need during your stay. Also the host themselves make you feeling right and home and are extremely helpful. Cannot stress how helpful the host was. We meet Francesco at the house where he later gave us a tour of the area. Showed us the high lights and where to eat. He even went grocery shopping with us which was a huge help as we do not speak Italian. Everything about our stay was lovely and hopefully we will be able to come back. Also Francesco has a friend who can come to the Shore House and cook. My husband and I really enjoyed our meal especially since the Shore House has such a lovely view.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Shore House. Francesco met us at there to give us entry and had even stocked the fridge with a few basics since we arrived later than expected. He then drove us to dinner and gave us a tour of nearby villages, with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. The house itself is very charming and perfect for a couple looking for a quiet retreat. Every morning we awoke to the sun rising over Lake Como and drank coffee on the terrace. We spent a few days locally and drove to St. Moritz on another. We cannot wait to return!

This was for us the perfect place, very quiet and total relaxation, we were late in the season which meant there were not many operating restaurants or activities, we were happy to cook at eat at home but if you wanted to socialize it is out of the way and means a bus trip of 30 mins. As for the house it was perfect for us with the use of the row boat we ventured around the lake. Alessandra would have to be the perfect host, in fact probably the best we have come across, he went out of his way to pick us up from the station, take and wait for us to buy food supplies before driving us up to the house some 30 mins away. his English is perfect and he is such a gentleman and full information ... shops close to house have very limited food supplies, so recommend to stock up before going to house. Caterina the housekeeper also speaks English and you can ring her if you really need something, she will also organise it including transport for you at a much better price than with a taxi. Had a absolutely wonderful holiday at the Shore house. Easy to organise with the owners and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Caterina, who looks after the property is amazing. Very kind and knowledgeable about the area and gave us a tour as soon as we arrived. Also she cooked for us during our stay which was an absolute treat! What more can I say.. Perfect location, perfect accommodation, perfect holiday! Will definitely be going back to visit and would highly recommend to anyone!

ShoreHouse has some of the most spectacular views directly onto Lake Como and overlooking Isola Comacino . What a joy to wake up every morning to sunshine over the lake, sunsets are spectacular as well. Shore House is quite unique , full of rustic charm. I spent many happy days trying to catch the elusive lake fish from the fantastic Shore house rowing boat. I didn't catch any so plenty left in the Lake for future guests to catch. Having off road parking is a huge bonus for this property. I reccomend sensible shoes as the cobbled pathways to and from Villa to village challenging through out the whole of the Como area. Several Excellent restaurants to discover within 10 mins walk. Catarina was extremely helpful on arrival and gave us a tour of the local area before we settled in . Excellent property and great Hosts.

Francesco was THE BEST host of any AirBnB host I have come across. Not only is his lake house in a stunning location, but Francesco went out of his way to take care of his guest, even picking me up one evening 5 miles away when there were no cabs around. This was such a lovely relaxing place to stay for a long weekend. Staying in March the view was of a beautiful misty lake and the appartment was well equipped for a very cosy stay, including a log fire, lots of books, an abundance of national geographic magazines, blankets and old British movies on VHS. We rowed across to the island and rowed to the nearby villa which would not be possible in the summer due to entrance to the villa being too busy. I was a little unwell with pregnancy sickness whilst there but this was the perfect home away from home. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This Shore House is one of the most favourite places that we stayed on our 5 week Italy Trip. It is a must for your itinerary. Francesco was the best host we met and picked us up and took us to the supermarket and waited for us, he gave us a wonderful private tour and provide information about best places to go and best places to eat etc. The house was so cosy and had had an excellent position right on the lake with views that take your breath away. Sala Comacina and nearby surrounding areas are beautiful to walk on the greenway paths and a perfect place to base yourself in this area to visit other areas. Would highly recommend

Wendy was wonderful. She met us at the bus and helped us haul our luggage a couple of short blocks to her lovely apartment in picturesque Sala Comacina. The space was perfect for ourselves and two grand daughters. The neighborhood was filled with families and retired people. The merchants were friendly and restaurants great. The lake was a few meters away and the ferry dock a short walk. If you like a quaint village a little off the beaten track, this is perfect for you. Wendy is a good host, she started communicating with us from the minute we booked her place. She sent us all the surrounding attraction which helped us to plan our time there. Wendy is a good host. The place is located in village which quite and a history teller, it gives you the feeling you are still living in middle ages. It is foot steps away from the lake ( 20 meters). The place is made out of stone and have been renovated. The furniture matches the place style and comfortable. Wendy kept the place very clean and neat. For someone looking a piece of mind I strongly recommend it.

We had a wonderful, local experience at Wendy's apartment. She is very hospitable and fun, introducing us to some local residents and friends. The apartment is comfortable and was great for our family group of three. Kitchen and living room are good social spaces and beds are comfortable. There's several good local restaurants and quaint little streets and places to walk near the lake. Recommended!

Wendy was very welcoming! We were very tired, and were welcomed with cookies, wine and other goodies. We loved the quaint and special neighborhood. This was hands down one of the best Airbnb experiences ever! My husband and I were so warmly welcomed by Wendy into the absolutely delightful home which is even prettier than the pictures and set in a real Italian neighborhood in the middle of one of the most charming villages right on Lake Como. The place was impeccably clean, lovingly restored and tastefully furnished with old world charm. A wonderful welcome basket awaited us and we rested our heads on five star hotel linen every night. Last and certainly not least Wendy introduced us to some of the lovely residents of Sala Comacina and we felt instantly dialed in. Also she went above and beyond her responsibilities as a host and made sure all our needs were met as well as giving us some superb recommendations regarding our itinerary. We will be back and are more than grateful to not only have had an amazing experience but also have made a new friend with Wendy!

We had a lovely holiday Wendy's beautiful casa in Sala Comacina. She welcomed us off the bus having kept in touch with us as we made our way from Milan that day. Her house is only a few yards from the bus stop (busy road) so we didn't have far to bring the cases. The house is impeccable and just as good as the photos - shining old wood, spotless, white linen on beautifully made beds. We got an Italian village experience - butcher and baker nearby. Wonderful fruit and veg brought to the village once a week. The supermarket is in the next village, Lenno up the lake. Takes about 40 mins to walk to. Ferries leave the village a few times a day to get one to the other side or farther up the lake. They don't frequent as from Mennagio and Bellagio but that is part of the charm of Sala Comacina in that while we were there we felt like there were only a handful of tourists there. The neighbours were friendly - great for practising my basic Italian greetings! Wendy has a very helpful guest guide book on the hall table including details of the local restaurants and the delightful Greenway walk. She was quick in answering my pre holiday emails and during holiday text enquiries. I am happy to recommend Wendy as a host and her beautiful house.

Weaving through the streets to find the apartment we hear a distinctive australian accent only to discover it is Wendy come to guide us towards the apartment. A funny and really warm and friendly host.,,,, and what a treasure that apartment is. By the end, all of us were working out our plan on how we could all purchase and live in this beautiful little village and have an apartment just like Wendy's! The interior of the apartment has been presented with real styla and quality. "Casa e il giardino" would be proud! The time we were there there was a full on national strike but we were able to get a water taxi to Bellagio, and to explore the lake a bit further - It is one of the worlds' great beauties. The usual ferries make the connection much easier but we all agreed we were happy to escape back to out quiet little village by the lake. "Our" local restaurant by the water was delightful - still dreaming about the gnocchi. Determined to return to both the apartment and the gnocchi!

What a delight! My husband and I were very pleased to be met by Robbie (friend of the owner) who was a very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful host. It was lovely and clean, fantastic location and close to the ferry terminal. We would love to stay there again and highly recommend the place and the experience.

The home is in a beautiful, idyllic spot. The parking is not very convenient--if that matters to you. the bathrooms and kitchen are modest, but the location and views are gorgeous. one word of warning, the stairway is incredibly steep to the second level. not appropriate for small kids.

Our family of four (children aged 5 and 7) spent a wonderful long weekend in this great apartment in Sala Comacina. The apartment itself is very well appointed, has lots of space and beautiful views of the lake - everything we wanted! The location of the apartment is also fantastic - there is a sandy beach right outside with direct swimming access to the lake; the ferry stop is steps away; the Lake Como Greenway is a very close; and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants and bakeries in the village. This meant that we didn't need to use our car at all during our visit. Robbie was delightful and extremely helpful before and during our visit - he accommodated a very late arrival and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. We're looking forward to returning for another visit and would definitely recommend this apartment!

Our stay at Rosie's apartment was fantastic...that view really is exactly what you see from the balcony – just beautiful! A lovely area with great little restaurants. Robbie was delightful and went out of his way to help us, we couldn't recommend this apartment highly enough!

This Image is the view from the bedroom, every day opening the shutters was a perfect way to start our adventure in this beautiful village and savour the local atmosphere. The home was newly furnished and we had all the items we needed for our stay including fresh coffee on the day we arrived. Thoroughly recommend to all.

Wow, what a find! Great location for us to finish our 5 week European holiday on Lake Como. Sala is a great location on the Lago with easy access to the ferry for tours of the lake and countryside. Five restaurants/ Pizzarias within easy 100m walk. Supermarket 5 min drive. Direct beach access to the beautiful fresh waters of Lake Como. Accomodation absolutely spotless with all needs for your stay. Robby met us as planned to escort us to accomodation and was most obliging host for Villa Rosie. Highly recommended.

We were two adults and two children who stayed at Fernandas apartment for a week. Communication with Fernanda up untill was easy. The apartment is very charming - authentic Italian style. It is big with 3 bedrooms (two of them with double bed), clean and nice. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazing. Colonno is a very small charming town away from tourist area. Car/scooter is needed to get around. I would visit again anytime!

We stayed at Fernanda's vacation home in Colonno by Lake Como for one week in July, and it was amazing. Our family of 2 adults and 2 young boys enjoyed the stunning view from the spacious balcony (the house is spacious too). Although we needed to climb quite a few stairs to get to and from the car garage, the view and authentic tourist-free surroundings made it all worth the climb :-) There are many cute nearby towns with nice restaurants, places to swim in the lake, and anywhere you go along the lake is absolutely beautiful. For a family with kids, the house had everything we needed, such as a baby bed, baby chair, wifi, safe high railing around the balcony, etc. We can only give our high recommendations of Fernanda's vacation Apartment to anyone looking to get the best of Lake Como.

Fernandas house at Como lake was beautiful, with beautiful view to the lake. She organized everything well and the house was clean for us. We had a fun and relaxing stay at the lake going around with car, boat and walking. I would recommend Fernandas house to others as well, Thank You!

This place is amazing. Collonno is the original small lake town. We had a fantastic time and even if we didn't have a car it just offered us challenges by getting into the lake bus system and enjoyable walks to Lenno trough the beginning of the greenway walking path. The view from the balcony is of such splendor that you just want to stay there. We stayed our whole holiday for 11 days and everyone in town were so friendly and helpful. There's a small shop open until 13 everyday with the bare necessities, a bar and trattoria in town. Also there's a very nice piazza down by the lake that's free for sunbathing and swimming. The apartment was more spacious then we thought and had all the basic amenities needed.

Fabulous apartment - we stayed with our 3 children aged 10-14 and all had a lovely time. Really hot outside, but cool and lovely inside the apartment. lots of space, great balcony, garage was very helpful. You do need to walk along the narrow road to get from garage to house, but get used to it!

Great apartment in a mint condition, view and space. Green road 10 km leaves from the backyard. Niccole who was helping us was so nice.

Nice house with a great view and well equiped. The private parking is very usefull in this town were public parking is very rare. Fernanda was accessible by phone. There was some tourist informations provided in the house.

Our party of five enjoyed our stay at Fernanda's place, which is very spacious and offers an amazing unobstructed view of Lake Como from its huge terrace on which we enjoyed having our morning coffee while watching the lake awaken for a new day. The three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and large living room represented the perfect accommodation for our needs. After many days spent on Airbnb's website looking for such a place, I can certainly state that there are not many offers in this price range that could compete with this Lake Como property. I would also like to commend Fernanda for her care to provide us with all basic needs (including high quality linen and towels- which I found from my own experience that should not be taken for granted in Italy) as well as for being very flexible in accommodating our arrival and departure times. During our stay, she also proved very responsive any time we needed to ask her something through direct SMS or through the Airbnb messaging feature. To offer however, a fair and complete review of this property, I feel compelled to point out that the amazing terrace view does not come with no effort: to reach this nice location you should be willing (and able) to climb a set of stairs that are the only way of getting from street level up to the equivalent height of a 4-5 level building. We were not aware about this aspect at the time of booking, but we found this effort to be worth making considering the beauty you reached at the top, even though at times we wished the garage, which is located at the basis of the hill, had a direct exit from its fourth level, somewhere in the vicinity of the house :) Bottom line, I would recommend this property as a perfect choice in the area for a large family or group of friends not having any accessibility constraints.

I stayed at Cristina's place with 6 friends for a weekend in Lezzeno. It was really wonderful and Cristina's helpfulness was a huge part of it! We arrived by bus and didn't have our own car so Cristina took us to the grocery store our first night. She was very quick to respond to questions and very easy to communicate with and was incredibly helpful with bus times too. The house was very comfortable, had everything we needed, and a beautiful view too! I would absolutely recommend staying with Cristina.

A super stay in Lezzeno, small, charming and authentic village between lake and mountain, well situated. Amazing! Cristina and Mara were very nice all the time, available during the whole stay for advices and questions. A bottle of wine waited us at arrival) We stayed one week in their house with our small baby. It is a real village house not very big but with the beautiful view on the roofs and the lake. It has all the necessary for a comfortable stay. There is one room on the ground floor (without bathroom) and all other rooms (kitchen, bathroom, living room and bedroom) are upstaires. We used only the first floor because it was much common like this with the baby. The girls found for us a travel baby bed))) For the outside a small dissapointment because we didn't finally use the garden. It isn't really far but not just here to go out there any minute you want. We prefered to go to the beach that, a great surprise, just 5 minute walk from the house and with amazing view and pure water. It was a great holiday!

The flat was very clean and had very goods equipements (dishwasher, micro oven, oven, washing machine...). The flat is on the old town of Lezzeno. It's very nice. In the house you can find a lot of informations about como lake and activities (visit, adress of restaurant, hiking...) Mara is a nice host.

Cristina was very helpful and provided us with lots of information about the town. She also showed us around the house and explained everything thoroughly which was helpful. She was very punctual and helpful.

We had a great time staying here, the house has some real character and a lovely big living space with great views, and all the towels and facilities you could reasonably want, including multiple ways to make coffee of course! Everything was clean, and Christina and Mara were both very communicative and happy to accommodate us and our requests, and give us some information about the area. The area is quiet and picturesque with windy cobbled streets and fun alleyways (all feels extremely safe) with a few restaurants down the road which were great. Talking of restaurants, I'd really recommend the 'Bella Vista' a short drive away, that was a real highlight of our trip. There are lots of things to do and see around lake como: outdoorsy things, boat rides or historic towns, and great food are all in good supply.

We had a lovely time here. It was very easy to contact Cristina and she welcomed us late in the evening when we arrived. She was always available to help, even getting some food in for us for breakfast as we arrived so late. The place itself is a lovely old house and has everything for a comfortable stay. About 200 steps lead down to the lake and we went swimming every morning and there was no one there, it was really special. There is plenty to see and do and the bus to Bellagio/Como is nearby. We went with our two children (aged 7 & 9) and they loved it, we didn't want to leave in the end. We would book this again.

Christina made sure everything is ok from the time of confirmed booking and she had sent me the details of the places and how to get there and was very friendly person. We had a great stay in this property. It's worth the money

We had a really good time in Cristina s house. All was perfect. Cristina take care of us and asked news everyday to know if we had any problems or questions. The house is in a typical tiny and beautiful village. We spent good times in the garden, apero's and bbq at the sunset. Bellaggio is only 10 minutes by car. Cristina gave us the keys of her garage box, it help us because it's not easy to find parking space in the evening. Thank you so much Cristina. We will stay there again if we come back to the lake.

We were very welcomed by the friendly owner of the house. The house is very comfortable, very clean and very well renovated, with beautiful lake views. It is located in a small quiet village, no car, no noise, very close to the lake. Ideal location to visit. It is a very beautiful place. We had a very pleasant stay in pretty house and we would love to return.

Brunella has a wonderful apartment on Lake Como with a great view. Brunella was quick to response to any questions we had during the trip making our vacation hassle free. The apartment is about a 10m drive to the nearest ferry (Bellagio) making it very convenient to travel to the other towns of Lake Como. Overall, we had a great experience at Lake Como in Brunella's apartment.

Offering us alternative dates and making some arrangements to give us the privilege of visiting her apartment. The Host made us feel very comfortable by promptly being viable at the location at our time of arrival. We met Vera, She gave us a lovely tour of the house and gave us all details about the WiFi connection, access to the lake for a swim etc. The house was amazingly beautiful, very clean, spacious and with a marvelous view of the lake. the neighbourhood was nice and quiet. Lovely blooms all around and rosemary shrubs everywhere was very heart warming. We stayed only for one night and we wish to go back again in the future. Thank you so much ( Kanika A Thorat )

We travelled as a family with 3 adults. Brunella had a beautiful place overlooking Lake Como. It was had 3 bedrooms all with double beds and views of the lake. There were also two bathrooms available to use. Parking is a straightforward and we were able to park only a few minutes walk from the property. It was certainly an experience to be able to stay in such a wonderful place.

We loved our stay at this B&B. It was easy to communicate with Brunella and she was waiting for us at the time specified. We were given the option to have the whole apartment to ourselves or to use it as a B&B with breakfast served etc. We chose the first option and felt very comfortable in the spacious house. The beds are comfortable and two bathrooms was excellent for the three of us. You have access to a terrace and there are balconies attached to the bedrooms all of which have beautiful views of the lake. The town of Lezzeno is beautiful and very quiet, we would definitely stay again.

Elisa was so helpful and extremely communicative. The view from the apartment is breathtaking and the town is perfect for a relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend, and I will definitely stay here again.
