Bar

“This place has some seriously cheap drinks, but what's cooler is they also have a speakeasy located behind a bookshelf in the basement, The Drifter. Get there early to get on the list and enjoy some amazing craft cocktails (ranging from $10-$12) and some interesting entertainment. Sometimes there's a small cover fee for the Drifter on weekends so have cash. There's also a hotdog stand next door for your late-night munchies.”

Restaurant
$$
“Open 365 days a year (but closed after 3 p.m.), this restaurant is eclectic and kooky (summertime, a daily customer in the outdoor cafe is Nick, the "bird man" with his two cockatoos) and just basic delicious eggy meals. Pauline and her husband Ron were neighbors who passed away in recent years: with no children, they left the restaurant to their employees who have kept the place as popular as ever.”

Greek Restaurant
$$
“This is another great Greektown gem. You can order a full meal or simply go here for pastry and coffee. Their baklava is wonderful as you would expect, but don't discount the awesomeness of the chocolate mousse. :) We sometimes do dinner at Greek Islands and then walk down the street to Artopolis for dessert.”
