Kim and James were very kind and flexible with my friend arriving before me to the place. They were even kind enough to come replace the wifi router when the one in the apartment wasn't working. And they were very accommodating to let us leave a car parked in their driveway while a friend and I ran a 10K so we wouldn't have to double pay for parking passes.

Open floor plan, nice deck to watch the sunset over the water. Hosts were very accommodating. Very clean. A lititle gem!

Kim and James' place is lovely, restful and private. We were in Stevensville for an event, but would definitely return for a more relaxing stay and to explore more of Kent Island. The space is an open loft above the garage, with four beds. It was very comfortable and clean, and it had a nice little kitchen. I had thought it had a bedroom that was seperate from the living space, but I may just not have read the description carefully enough. It seems like a great space for a family or close friends who don't mind all sleeping together. It also is right on the water, there is a beautiful view of the water, and you can go right down on their dock from their backyard. They also left snacks :).

This was our first AirBNB experience and I can see why everyone raves about it. The layout was absolutely perfect for our family of five (2 adults & 3 kids) as everyone was able to have their own beds. We were in town for just one night to attend a wedding and it provided much more space and privacy than a standard hotel room.

Great place! Very clean and spacious. Short drive to Cascia Vineyard and a few local distilleries, about 25 minutes to Annapolis. Perfect for a laid back weekend!

Angie is a wonderful host! Her house is impeccably clean and beautifully furnished in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Everything we needed was provided- and then some. There even were citronella candles and bug repellent to enjoy the deck and fire pit in the large backyard. We were very impressed with how thoughtful a host she was.

This was my first rental through ABNB and what a great experience we had! Angie was the perfect host, always answering my questions within minutes. We had 8 people stay and we had plenty of room. No detail was left out of this home. If you are staying in this area, this is THE place you should stay. Its proximity to Chesapeake Bay Beach Club, nearby excellent restaurants and mostly the attentiveness of the host made our stay excellent. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 17 to 86 and this home afforded plenty of space both inside and out allowing for as much shared time and private time as everyone needed.

We had 8 adults stay at Angie's place for a wedding and it was perfect! The bedrooms were comfortable (everyone was raving about the mattresses). The kitchen was well appointed and clean. We also really appreciated the large back yard which was a great 'extra' space. Angie went the extra mile in making the place comfortable and inviting!

Jim and Beth were extremely pleasant hosts! They made sure we felt at home but gave us our privacy at the same time. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and decorated and everything was very well maintained. I was grateful we ended up chosing the Chalet in time.

We enjoyed our stay at Cheryl's place. I can't think of anything she didn't have that we needed. We were only there one night but it certainly would have been comfortable for a couple of nights. The appliances were great and easy to use. Everything was very clean and it was convenient to some cute restaurants. I definitely would stay again.

The bungalow was perfect. We were in town for a wedding and we were close to everything. The bungalow has all the amenities you could need. You'll love your stay.

Great place. Very clean, good value, had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The gift basket, coffee, fresh flowers, and toiletries basket were all really nice touches. We also were there on a humid weekend and were expecting the apt to be a little damp (and wouldn't have blamed them if it was- it was so hot outside) but were pleasantly surprised to find that the air conditioning was set so that it was cool and crisp in the apt!

Everything was amazing. Very good communication. Anything we needed Cheryl helped us with.

Cheryl's place really made our first trip to Kent Island even better than I expected it to be. The private apartment is the entire bottom floor of a fairly large house. There are two bedrooms, a very large living/dining/kitchen area with a pull out sofa bed, and a huge bathroom with a washer and dryer. Cheryl's house is spotlessly clean with what appeared to be brand new carpets and furnishings and is meticulously decorated with a beachy/nautical theme. Her large TiVo Smart TV allowed us to watch Game of Thrones (yay!) and she even provided us with complimentary cookies to snack on, coffee for the morning, condiments in the fridge, and there was a huge basket of every toiletry you could possibly imagine in the bathroom - just in case you forgot something. There is a separate parking pad in the back of the house for her guests along with some outside seating. Cheryl also provided us with a great list of local restaurant recommendations. take-out menus, and general advice for places to check out. Do yourself a favor if you are in Kent Island - book Cheryl's place! We had an awesome time!

nice quiet location convenient to downtown Stephensville and Trawlerfest at Big Bay Marina. Everything you need here and Cheryl is very accommodating. Only thing missing is bedside lamps, so if you want to read, the overheads are your only option. Would absolutely recommend to anyone staying in the area

Caroline's home is beautiful and spacious. She and her family were so friendly and welcoming, I immediately felt at home. The other guests were friendly too. It felt like we had all known each other for a long time. What was even more special, is that she went out of her way to help me find transportation, and directions to places I needed to go.

Caroline's place is a lovely home with every detail provided. She was leaving for a trip but made me comfortable first and had everything very well organized. She and her husband are experienced hosts and do a great job.

Caroline made me feel extremely welcome during my weekend stay for my son's wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club. This is an excellent alternative to the (much) more expensive Beach Club Inn. The neighborhood is quite nice and is within a few minutes from this venue. Her house was so close to the Beach Club and Inn, I had no problem going back to change or rest in between wedding festivities.

You know you've had a good stay when your host provides frosted glasses for your poolside beer...breakfast plus a basket of snacks, keys for the room, toiletries, board games, and even the small towel the hotels give you to put on the bathroom floor---all the little things that make a big difference. Thank You so much Caroline. To anyone looking for a great place to stay on the island do yourself a favor and book this place quick before the next person does!

Second stay..absolutely lovely

It was easy to communicate with Caroline regarding the time of my arrival. There was 4 more guest besides me, but it felt as if the house belonged only to myself all the time while I stayed there. Big swimming pool surrounded by flowers, trees, and even some tomatoes that hosts are growing. Swimming before going to bad and in the morning before generously offered breakfast. I wish I could stay there forever... In the room I found an introductory letter about the hosting family and all their names including dog's name. I found a bathrobe, towels, shampoo and soap. The keys for my room were hanging on the hook with letter "C" attached to it. Wifi password is in the picture frame by the bed, so you don't have to struggle with it. The point is that every small detail is thought through which tells me that hosts are absolutely adore their house and being Airbnb hosts. Great experience. Please, keep the room vacant for me on weekends. ❤️

Nice room at a great price! Snacks in room was a big plus. Pool was a bigger plus! Shared bathroom was no problem. Not far from many restaurant choices and beach areas, such as Terrapin Beach Park. Plenty of parking. Quite neighborhood. Dog on property. Enjoyed the many self service breakfast items!

Caroline and Tim were great hosts! Their home is lovely, in a nice quiet neighborhood- which was very easy to find. They were very clear with communication, check in was easy, and I was able to park my car right out front. I was thankful for the central air, since it was in the 90's for my stay! They also have a pool out back that you can use, as well as lawn chairs to enjoy. The snacks/water in the room were a nice touch. I was surprised when Caroline and Tim invited me to eat dinner with them - it was very kind of them. They even let me use their garden hose to rinse off my wetsuit after a swim in the bay. Would definitely recommend this airbnb room! Hopefully I will be back again too!

Fantastic Memorial Day weekend experience! The house was quiet, private, clean, and more than enough space for my wife, myself, and our crazy dog (who we kept in a crate in the living room during the entire trip). Danny was a great host, and super speedy with replying to our requests/questions. He even helped us find the hose on the side of the house when we came back from the beach with our dog covered in sand and smelling like low tide!

Our hosts were very accommodating and responsive prior to our stay. And although it's technically a shared unit not private home we never actually saw the owners during our stay so it still felt private. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and ready upon arrival.

The home is situated on a very quiet street. The kitchen layout is nice. We were able to eat our crabs on a deck outside, while watching our sons play basketball!!

Danny & Jordan's place was lovely and comfortable for our family trip and they were great hosts. It is in a quiet neighborhood but close to lots of great restaurants, and beach fun. It's just up the road from a nice little playground where our kids enjoyed playing and at Danny and Jordan's suggestion we found a great nearby restaurant on the water where we could enjoy a drink and fresh seafood while the kids played in the water. It was really a perfect place for our family to stay and we would highly recommend to any one traveling to the area looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay.

Danny and Jordan were excellent hosts! We only saw them once, in the driveway as we were coming back from a run and they were extremely nice! They responded to my messages almost instantly. Their home was very nice, spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location also was extremely convenient, being close to Chesapeake Bay Beach Club where we were attending a wedding, and close to shops and restaurants.

Barbara's house is located in a quiet, safe neighborhood. The house is a split level, so access to the room and bathroom is private. The bathroom is not attached to the bedroom, but easily accessible. Barbara was welcoming and her dog, Zeke, is very friendly. The bed, a trundle, was comfortable. The house was immaculate. The room is minimally furnished.

Barb is a wonderful host. The room in her home was as advertised and comfy. Though I didn't explore the local community too much, as I was just passing through, Barb offered several suggestions for meals and shopping. Would stay again.

We had a great time during our stay at Love Point Bay. Our group was in town for a wedding and loved how convenient the house was to the venue but also how quiet and beautiful the property was. The guest house was clean and exactly as pictured. Glen was more than helpful and very responsive. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend location, this is it!

Very private and peaceful, with a great front yard as pictured. Glenn respects your privacy and isn't in your face (we didn't talk face to face once). Rent or bring a boat for water access. It's rocks along shoreline, or take a leap off the dock. Awesome deck and sunrise (faces east).

The view from the house is stunning and the home itself is well kept, cozy, and has a surprisingly well stocked kitchen. Love Point Bay Vacation Home is a beautiful place and Glen was a very responsive host. There were minor issues with figuring out wifi and Glen was very prompt in answering those questions when they arose. All in all, a very relaxing place.

Glen had everything a guest would need at his location. Very great location and if I had a need I got a quick response for help. The view was priceless and me and my friends were extremely impressed. Looking forward to working with him again.

Just spent 2 nights and it was awesome. The property is right on the water and has a beautiful deck looking out over a manicured lawn. We sat out on the deck drinking coffee and enjoyed the view. The property looks like it is only a year or 2 old. They have done a great job with the remodel and have all the modern conveniences you would need. The owner was easy to get a hold of and had the place ready to go for us. You feel like you are hundred miles from any thing, but have grocery store and restaurants 5-10 minutes away. You are about 20 minutes from Annapolis and we spent one whole day exploring this historic town. I would highly recommend this property.

The neighborhood is very lovely and quaint. I was delighted to drive along a dirt path through some vegetation to reach the house; it felt like we were really "getting away". The view and serenity of the property is even better than the pictures and I would highly recommend getting up early to see the sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. Speaking of coffee, if you want some, make sure to bring your own coffee maker because there wasn't one at the house (or at least I didn't see one); however, there was a Keurig machine with 3-4 Keurig cups available. The house inside was clean. The only issues I had were (1) the inner shower curtain looked a little too mildew-y for my comfort and (2) the vent cover above the stove top fell off while I was cooking (luckily I only got a small cut on my finger).

Beautiful home on a beautiful property. We spent the evening watching a pack of baby foxes playing in the meadow. What a fantastic experience!

Our stay at Subhan's home was nothing short of amazing. It is a beautiful guest house with ample space and very clean. All the amenities that you could think of were provided. My friends and I were greeted with a nice note, snack, and drinks. Subhan was very helpful and was quick to respond to any questions that I had. This was my first experience with Airbnb and it was awesome. The carriage house was beautiful as was the property. The location was very close to everything we did for the weekend. We were there for a family wedding at Kent Manor Inn. As soon as my family came into the house we felt very welcomed. Subhan left us details about where things were located (supermarkets, beaches, restaurants etc) and left us a pie to welcome us - my family demolished it. Tranquil place with lovely views

A perfect location to relax and take in the amazing water views. Eateries and shopping are just a short distance from this beautiful haven. The hosts Lisa and Chuck are personable and extremely helpful. We will be returning on our next trip down to Kent Island!

We loved Lisa and Chuck (and Waffles)! They had plans on Saturday, but stuck around just to welcome us, even though we arrived late. Their home is beautiful and clean; their master suite is a retreat! The views are amazing, with property right on the water - perfect for kayaking. They had lots of suggestions on things to do and places to eat, even leaving out a magazine with more ideas. Better than the mag: fresh chocolate chip cookies! Best of all, they were great conversationalists. We highly recommend this Airbnb both for the location and its hosts.

Our stay with Lisa & Chuck was amazing! The room & property are even better than the photos show. Lisa & Chuck went out of their way to make the stay as easy and smooth as possible. I was there to do a swim event in the Chesapeake Bay - Lisa and Chuck offered insight, extra towels, and even dropped my mother off at the finish point. They were easy to work with (our arrival time got pushed back & coordination of a revised time went smoothly), and helpful but never intrusive. The room is gorgeous, with a comfortable bed and even a pitcher of cold water. If we come back, I hope that I'll be able to book again!

We loved our stay at Don's with 2 of our kids. We were in town for our son's lacrosse tournament and are always looking for a non-hotel option when we travel for games. We hit the jackpot with this one. The setting is spectacular, even in the offseason. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stock, we had no problem making dinner. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beautiful views. Don kindly offered to let us check in early and stay late. Communication was great. We'd love to come back when the weather is warmer....and we don't have to be at lacrosse games all day. Thank you Don, it was such a treat!

Great getaway!! We had such a lovely time. We barely left the house except to go have some great crabs for dinner nearby! Don was accessible to answer any questions we had which was great. We were having a mothers/daughters getaway and felt completely safe just us ladies and kiddos. I must say when we pulled around the corner and saw the pool and the view we were blown away. Couldn't ask for a better little hidden gem. Had tea in the am with a spectacular view. Took the kayaks out after having fun in the pool and ended the day with a glass of wine in the hot tub. (Courtesy bottle of wine) It was heaven. I plan to go back next year! (Little tip..stop at Fisherman's inn MARKET. They sell a dozen already steamed crabs for only $12/doz for take out, DELICIOUS)

This was our first family vacation since the birth of our son, and also our first experience with Airbnb. We couldn't have picked a better location or generous host for this big milestone! The house was just as described, and contained everything we needed for a wonderful, restful vacation. A particular favorite amenity was the well-maintained swimming pool, which felt extra-luxurious on such incredibly hot Maryland days! We didn't have any trouble with check-in, and Don greeted us upon arrival and gave a personal tour of the property before leaving. He communicated with us throughout our stay, and was very quick to respond if we had questions. We felt safe, welcomed, and encouraged to consider the place ours for the week. We can confidently recommend both the Airbnb experience, and renting this particular home on the lovely Chester Riverfront.

Short version - Don was one of the best hosts I've ever had on Airbnb. Don't think twice - this is the most relaxing spot you can choose for a getaway. In all - Don worked with me and adjusted his schedule to allow me to come for just one night. The keypad was an easy way to get in and not have any issues upon arrival. The house was clean, well-decorated, and filled with things to make the trip better (Great wireless speaker, kayaks by the river, comfortable hammocks.) I went to a couple of restaurants that Don suggested and they were incredible (one being on a deck right over the water.) Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back. Perfect host!

This is a magical spot--the water, the sky, the osprey nesting offshore, giant herons landing on the seawall. Then there is the house, which is even better than the descriptions and photos. The views!! We loved the pool and the hot tub and the little beach and the funky boathouse. Don was a fabulous host, flexible and quick to respond to any questions. So thoughtful to provide sunscreen and pool towels. Everything is labeled and easy to find and use. Highly recommend for families. Our daughter and niece only left the pool to go kayaking and paddle boarding. Great bike trail across the island. Several waterfront restaurants by the bridge. Very easy to get to grocery stores and other shopping. And it's only a short drive from Baltimore. We just can't say enough great things about this place.

Blissful Getaway! Donald was easy to contact as we were checking in. The house was very clean and the view was spectacular. The neighborhood was quiet, yet close to the highway. The bottle of wine and snacks he left for us were an extra special touch that made us feel welcome. It was a bit chilly for the pool and too warm for the hot tub, but perfect for kayaking at sunset, and having our dinner outside overlooking the water. It was great to have a pair of binoculars to use to watch the abundant birds, especially to watch the osprey fishing! The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We spent one day at the Renaissance Festival, and another at the Ann Arundal County Fair, both about 30 minutes from the house.We hated to leave! Hope to return someday!

Don's place was the perfect place for my boyfriend and my parents to spend a long weekend relaxing. He has everything you could possibly need for a nice time there and the town/area also has plenty to explore and do. Don is also very responsive and helpful with our stay/lovely. We had a wonderful time and would definitely be back.

James home was a great casual place to meet up with our family for Memorial Weekend. His communication was great and the home was comfortable and clean. Great water views and only a short drive to restaurants and attractions of the shore and Kent Island. Just far enough to be able to have access to the city but being able to escape for those see breezes. The only downside was it would have been nice to be able to grill and have outdoor dining for 6 outside. We would recommend anyone to stay here

James is a fantastic host - he is very thoughtful and proactive in reaching out to me. He called me before I checked in to make sure he knows my needs and question. Then he made detailed instruction in his house to help me enjoy his awesome stereo system. He was not there to help me immediately but he has a friend living nearby to help. His place is nice and safe. A beautiful waterfront with different birds visiting everyday - you'll never get bored! The only minor inconvenience was water - it's not directly drinkable so we needed to buy water from stores. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend James place to my friends.

The house is incredibly beautiful, with lots of nice decor from all around the world. Very comfortable and very homey feeling. Everything was up to date and new looking and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet. Perfect getaway if your on a business trip or traveling with a partner and need a place to lay your head down for a couple of nights. David was always a phone call away and willing to help with anything we needed. Can't wait to stay again in the future!

My only complaint is that we were not able to stay longer. The house is beautifully decorated yet very comfortable. David was extremely kind, helpful and wonderful to work with. The house is very convenient to the beach club which was nice for getting back and forth to wedding festivities. We would definitely stay again if ever back in the area!

I have a hard time finding the words to adequately summarize the overall feeling of warmth and hospitality we felt from both David and the home in general. David is a wonderful, easygoing, laid-back host who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was always available when we messaged him or if we needed anything. Super quick to respond and completely reliable. Such a pleasant person to have interacted with! We absolutely loved our stay at David and Janet's home, and found the furnishings to be truly exquisite. We loved the culture, the art, the marble, and just the overall warm feeling we got from this most beautiful space. Bonus was the gorgeous sunset over the bay that we could see each night from the peekaboo views! Sincerely hope we can return to the area, we would absolutely stay here again! Thanks again David! Ps- we have two small children and David went out of his way to bring over a highchair, and a few small toys (so fun- they loved them!) to make our children have a more enjoyable stay. The gesture just goes to show how thoughtful and caring David is as a host.

David is a tremendous host who really works to make his guests comfortable. The linens felt so clean and nice, the amenities like the master bathroom and the gorgeous kitchen, even the DVD collection they share really make you feel pampered. This might have been the most elegant and downright cool spaces I've ever had the privilege to stay in, it's immediately apparent on walking in that a lot of pride and consideration was put into their home. There are so many beautiful objects, pieces of art, antiques and so forth, it really does almost feel like being a guest in a small museum. As a result, I couldn't recommend this place for anyone who might have rowdy guests in their party or who won't wish to be considerate at all of their surroundings. However, if that isn't you, and should you choose to stay here: you'll find it unforgettable in the best way!

David's house is just as wonderful as the pictures! The beds were very comfortable and the house was well stocked with extra towels and blankets. David was very responsive to any questions we had. The location was very convenient to the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club where we were attending a friend's wedding. It was also quite spacious for four people - would highly recommend! It was difficult to get an Uber or Lyft in this area, but this is no fault of the homeowners. Just a note.

A beautiful home right on the water. Tons of space and tons of beds, it was perfect for me and my friends. Newly renovated and even had the new house smell.

Amy's guest room and our overall experience staying in her home was wonderful. She was generous with her space, and encouraged my daughter and I to enjoy a movie in her living room. The room was quiet, extremely private and comfortable with a welcome ceiling fan and a beautiful, spacious bathroom. Amy was a simply lovely woman who helped orient us to the area, recommended restaurants, provided info on local antiquing, and every offered up her art supplies to my illustrator daughter. We had an A+ experience.

Our host was absolutely great in reaching out and taking the extra steps to accommodate any and all of our possible needs. The room was clean, inviting and well appointed. We did not have time to even enjoy all the amenities available for our use, but I can say if we are looking for something in this area this would be our choice again.

Amy's place is pretty lux. The bedroom/bathroom combo is spacious, bright, modern, private, and well stocked. A ceiling fan, automatic lights, and windows that open wide make it extremely comfortable. It's a 3 minute drive to the gorgeous bayside Terrapin park; and our main reason for being there: 2 minutes from the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, which I ran across this morning! Amy's accommodations were the perfect pad for our quick trip to Stevensville. And the neighborhood happens to be quiet and adorable, interlaced with little ponds and marshes. Thanks Amy!

Amy made us feel welcome before we even arrived! She checked in with me earlier in the week about arrival time. We confirmed everything the day of arrival and all went smoothly. The room had everything and more! There was an iron and all kinds of toiletries in case we forgot something. The location was easy to find and incredibly convenient to the venue of the wedding we were attending. We hope to return in the fall to experience more of what Kent Island has to offer.

We had a wonderful stay!! We were in town for a wedding, and didn't really have time to tour the area, but Amy really outdid herself with outfitting the room, bathroom, and kitchen with all the amenities we needed, and then some! Amy's home is very clean and tidy, and in a great location. The bed was comfortable, and we were able to store our groceries in the refrigerator. If we have an occasion to visit Stevensville again, we'll certainly book with Amy! We've stayed in many airbnb's, and yours is by far one of the best!

Amy was super nice! She started to make me feel welcomed like a week before I was there. I didn't had the pleasure to meet her in person but I can assure you this is a place you want to stay. Room has nothing to envy to an hotel.

Amy was a fabulous host. She made the arrival and stay so easy that it was like I was staying at a 5 star resort. She reached out ahead of time to ensure she had breakfast items stocked in the fridge prior to my arrival. She texted a photo to show me where to park which helped out tremendously. The location was perfect for my weekend stay and I would recommend Amy to anyone looking to stay on Kent Island!

We had a wonderful stay at Amy's place. Everything was exactly as listed, the bed was extra comfortable and we were warmly welcomed. Amy was a great host. She helped us with information about the area, left us helpful little notes and really made us feel right at home. We would definitely stay with Amy again and recommend her place to others.

Our hosts were phenomenal and the house exceeded our expectations. Location and the house itself were perfect for our family getaway and I highly recommend it!

Fabulous house with a great location.

Rick's place was awesome. My family enjoyed a week at the home, there was little need to go anywhere. The home as amazing views, it's well furnished for 8 people. Rick placed a bunch of nice touches including really nice air mattresses from FrontGate. We fished and crabbed off the dock. If you want a true beach beach there's one within a couple miles which is public, yet isn't overcrowded. Loved my stay!!!
