Places to stay in Cedar Hill
Unique treehouse overlooking majestic Creek. Comfy queen sized bed with luxurious bedding. Room is equipped with a microwave, fridge, coffee maker and toaster. We provide organic coffee and other breakfast items. There is a detached bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. This gorgeous place is located in Springfield, TN which is 30ish minutes from Nashville. Springfield is a short five minute drive away. Local restaurants, shopping and entertainment are all conveniently located.
This beautiful treehouse is a 3 story structure. The very top is a deck that overlooks the creek and the gorgeous landscape. The main floor is the one in photographs on the listing. There is also a newly renovated bottom floor, with a private entrance. We are not renting it out on its own because we feel it would interfere with your privacy. (No one wants to hear the noisy neighbor’s below) If you have a larger group and want to add in more sleeping space we can rent it separately. Currently the room is equipped with a queen Murphy bed and a twin cot. Coffee maker, mini fridge toaster and microwave are also include. This space has heat and ac. This is a 50 plus acre property with 7 homes. One of the homes is the original homestead, an authentic log cabin. The land has hiking trails, a labyrinth, a pond to fish (catch and release), and a creek that runs year round. There are several other rentals on the farm. A civil war cabin, an ark, a four-story lighthouse tower (that is where we live), there is even a meeting hall that seats 50 people. The hot tub is currently shared with the nearby mansion. We are in the process of adding a private two person hot tub for the treehouse. The mansion is usually only rented on the weekends. I have blocked off most of the weekends for this year to avoid possible conflicts for people who don’t want to share the outdoor space. We do have six hot tubs on the farm, some are private. Depending on bookings you may be able to use one of the other hot tubs if you wish. This lovely home is situated on a fifty plus acre property. It is nestled under the trees on the Carr Creek shore. There is a pond to catch and release fish. A labyrinth meditation circle. An authentic Civil War Cabin and several other Vacation rentals on this farm. There are many beautiful places to explore and hike. Kroger and Walmart are 1.5 miles away. Nashville is a short 30-minute drive.

  • WOW! Such an amazing place. I booked this treehouse for my boyfriends 25th birthday and they went above and beyond to make sure it was a special birthday by baking cupcakes, decorating the place and even writing him a card. I couldn't of asked for a better host or property. Beautiful scenery and very unique places. I highly suggest booking this treehouse or any other property they have. Overall it was a fantastic experience. :)

  • I had a really nice time at Kellys jubilee. I’d definitely recommend giving this place a visit. They have incorporated unique and modern decor into this cool resort. The people are really chill and the treehouse is kinda magical. You’ll love it.🧚‍♀️

  • It's a adorable little place. And they had the cutest little touches such as sweet notes and cookies. We plan to return and try out their Ark.

  • I can not say enough nice things about this place. We absolutely loved it. They are so thoughtful, and really go above and beyond. Would absolutely stay here again. The creek next to the tree house is nice. Nice Hot tub, and neat things to walk around and see. Wish we would have had longer!

  • Great value! Super clean and comfortable RV. Mattress is the most comfortable air bnb bed I’ve ever slept on. Sonya is super nice and easy to communicate with. Sassy is the most welcoming little dog. Would definitely visit again.

    Elizabeth2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Sonya and Fred are excellent hosts. We were greeted when we pulled into the driveway and given a tour of their house. We ended up talking for hours. Sonja baked and ground her coffee beans and both mornings of our stay we had her amazing coffee. We did enjoy the hot tub too! Fred and Sonja are just awesome people and Sassy’s a sweetheart. We look forward to staying with them again.

    Jeannie2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • If you are down to earth folks who appreciate the simple things in life, this is the place for you! The RV was really nice with ample room for sleeping and having out. However, we had so much fun that I ended up passing out in a fabulous hammock from Costa Rica and my boyfriend stayed up through the night and enjoyed the views. We had a lovely night spent in a super top notch customizable hot tub. We decided a hot tub is the key to a successful relationship. When I woke up from my wonderful hammock sleep, Christopher was cutting it up with Sonya and Fred who are gooooooood people. They offered wonderful coffee from Costa Rica that they roast themselves. They keep a wonderful garden and even nicer cut grass, which we enjoyed laying in while we stargazed. My boyfriend and I appreciated this experience so much, we will forever remember picking grapes from the vine, checking out a very well done and beautiful barn renovation, and staying in the home of two genuinely good people. Thanks so much!!

    Lindsey2019-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Sonya and Fred are both super nice & very hospitable people! They treat you like family & invite you to join their section of the house in addition to your own guest space. I also love how they converted a red barn into a home!!!

  • My friends and i stay with Sonya every time we're in Tennessee and we just absolutely love it. She's far away enough from Nashville that you can enjoy a nice rural retreat, but not far enough to not also enjoy the city. The camper was clean, cozy and stocked with any supplies one may need. The beds are super comfortable as well. All in all, definitely a great find for anyone looking for their next trip :)

    Devin2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our short stay at Sonya's place. The camper was comfortable, the night was quiet, and the coffee and conversation with Sonya and Fred (and playing with the sweet dog) on the deck in the morning were much appreciated!

    Kim2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Sonya and her husband(Paul?) were awesome hosts. Very friendly. The camper, itself, exceeded my expectations. The location was fabulous. Out in the middle of nowhere. But 10-15 minutes from anything you'd need. Planning a trip to the area in late August. I hope Sonya has space available.

    James2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic spot to relax and recharge. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the hosts are amazing. My friends and I had 2 days of great coffee and conversations with Fred and Sonya (and plenty of play time with their happy pupper!!) I would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a quiet place with friendly hosts

30 miles NW of downtown Nashville (45 min drive) gets you out of the city. Completely private guest suite above our garage with it's own separate entrance. The space contains a queen bed, sitting area, fully stocked kitchenette, dining table with 4 chairs, and TV. The private bathroom has a walk-in shower. We are in a beautiful setting of woods with two creeks and plenty of outdoor space to explore and enjoy and yet minutes from Walmart/Kroger.
The guest suite is one open room and has a vaulted ceiling which makes the 500 sq. ft. space seem open and roomy. It is accessed by two flights of outdoor stairs with one flight made of stone and rather narrow. Besides the queen bed, two air mattresses are available (double and single) to use for additional guests. (Please note that there is a $10 fee per night for over 2 guests.) Plenty of parking is available in front of the garage. There are seasonal outdoor spaces to enjoy such as the pool area, hammock within steps of your front door, covered front porch, and umbrella covered table for 4 near the BBQ, a fire pit, plus a second hammock down near the creek.
Our acreage is located just outside the city limits of Springfield, located northwest of Nashville, which gives us the best of both worlds: minutes to the grocery store (Wal-Mart/Kroger) and yet a country feel. You will pass through a 1970's era neighborhood and then continue onto our property. The house is located on 17 acres in a hollow and secluded.

  • One of the best!

    Luke2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Lynne's place was an extremely comfortable home away from home. The house is in a lovely area of the woods, that gave a nice feel away from the city. They were such great hosts and in addition to the breakfast food mentioned in previous comments, they left us cupcakes from the local bakery. They also were able to accommodate a slightly later check out. We are very appreciative and glad to have stayed. Highly recommend!

    Brooke2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Stay here! Lynne is an incredible host, and her space is so clean and so thoughtfully furnished with anything you could need for your stay. I was away for most of my days and didn't have the chance to get to know Lynne well, but when I did get to briefly meet her, she came out in a snow flurry to give me a warm hug and advice on the great local shops. Her dog is well behaved and her property is meticulously cared for. I found the location to be perfect, secluded and relaxing but within reach of any tourist stuff I may want to do. This was great for my solo trip but I could see it being perfect and cozy for a couple, and the place was well stocked with anything you would need to bring kids along so a family trip isn't out of the question here either! You really can't go wrong here. It's clean, up to date, filled with amenities and complimentary surprises and oh so warm when the snow was falling! I had a great stay, and recommend Blessed Springs without hesitation.

Kelly, Karen, and Tammy definitely went the extra mile in making my wife and I comfortable on our honeymoon trip and the grounds provided an excellent opportunity for some exploration around the local creek. My wife absolutely loved it and we already are looking at dates for a future trip. Do yourself a favor and go ahead and book your trip here! But don't forget a fishing pole and maybe some waterproof hiking shoes!

  • Sonya's place is awesome, and so are Sonya and her husband! Probably the chillest air bnb hosts I've ever met, and so accommodating! Sassy the dog is an absolute delight! The accommodations are so cool and unique, the hot tub is a major plus. Would highly reccomend!

  • Very friendly

    Dane2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved staying here. Sonya, Fred, & Sassy were great hosts. They were there to answer any questions, gave suggestions, and had fresh coffee each morning. If it's privacy you want, they understand that too! Sassy just might want a little love if you are heading in or out when she is outside 🐾 but I don't know who could refuse that little cutie!

    Stephanie2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Checkin was pleasant and easy. We were tired and enjoyed having the private downstairs space. The work the hosts have done to this renovated tobacco barn is impressive, and if you enjoy reclaimed wood and eco friendly amenities as we do, it is a perfect space. The bedroom was cozy and well appointed with full cable access, and the bathroom was right next door. The kitchen was complete with anything we needed. There was access through the host’s living area to a very pleasant deck and hot tub, which we enjoyed as well. The hosts brewed coffee in the morning from beans they roast themselves. All in all a relaxing and comfortable experience. Thank you!

  • Great place and great people. Next time we’re in the Franklin/Nashville area will definitely try to book with them first!

    Landon2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • If you ever decide to go to Tennessee then I highly recommend staying here with Fred and Sonya. They had a nice barn with a great hot tub. Everything in the place was very nice and clean. Sonya and Fred were so kind, welcoming to us and were great conversationalists. They were very helpful and gave great advice about things to do in the local area. Also just like many reviews say they did have the BEST coffee! Sassy their wiener dog was also so friendly and a joy to be around. If we ever go back to the area again we will be staying with Fred and Sonya!

  • We loved everything about our stay with Sonya, Fred, and Sassy! They went out of their way to make sure you felt welcomed and at home. I highly recommend joining them for coffee before you leave! Some of the best coffee and conversation I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back to stay with Sonya, Fred, and Sassy!

  • Everything was super clean and neat. The whole property has a quaint, homey feel that welcomes you in and makes you feel like you've just gone to visit your fun aunt's farm. It was a great mix of antique/rustic vintage and modern comforts. Excellent hosts, very prompt and helpful with communication and quick to address any problems. They were also very sweet, adding thoughtful touches to the decor for our honeymoon and even bringing us a couple mini cheesecakes one evening. 10/10, would recommend!

Kelly was great, she has great taste, and the homes are beautiful. Her friend Jack took me around and showed me the property was very kind of him, he also was a great person to visti with. We went into Nashville one day, the 20 minute drive is well worth it and Jack was even willing to transport us! • I’ve stayed here several times as it’s my favorite get away. The view is spectacular and I’ve caught fish there almost every time the weather permitted. Such a comfortable quite place to unwind and the price is great! Oh and the bed is the most comfortable that I’ve ever had at an Air B&B! And to top all that off, Jason is an incredible host! Don’t pass this place up people!!! Highly recommended!

  • This place was absolutely beautiful! The cabin and property exceeded our expectations and we would love to come back one day. From the unique decor, plenty of cozy blankets, fishing gear, boats, and amenities, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Despite no WiFi or service, we were able to enjoy our Christmas stay with a fully decorated tree, “A Christmas Story” on DVD, and plenty of outdoor activities to keep us busy. I got to teach my fiancé how to fish and our pup absolutely loved playing in the river! I will definitely be recommending this place to my family and friends!

  • Lovely home. River was so peaceful and the beds were comfortable!

    Abbey2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was a treasure! We spent Thanksgiving there as our eldest is in college in the area. I was a bit unnerved spending the holiday at a unknown location but, I was quickly treated to the magic of the “Humble cabin”. The decor is stupendous and they even had a Christmas tree!! All amenities were there for us to be able to relax and reconnect as a family. I will relish the memories we made and will return for sure. Thank you.

    Barry2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Far exceeded our expectations. Loved the view from the cabin. I will for sure look to revisit in the future when we can float the river.

Breathtakingly beautiful home. A place to relax and enjoy a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of life. Then when you’ve rested you can take around a 30-minute drive into Nashville and embrace some of America’s best entertainment. We have priced this amazing place very low so that a couple can afford this as a romantic getaway. After the first two guests, we charge per person. Please be accurate with your guest count. We want to continue to keep our prices low.
This place is fantastic! A feast for your eyes. Beautiful inside and out. The Mansion is a three-story building with an elevator. The bottom floor is not yet completed, so we don't have pictures posted, but there is a full bathroom that large groups may have access to if needed. Also, please note...... we ask that large groups also book the neighboring small tree house. They are separate rentals that share a deck, two-person indoor hot tub, and larger outdoor hot tub. I want all of our guests to have the best experience possible. For example, if a couple is renting the small treehouse and next door in the mansion they are having a bachelor party it could affect the quiet enjoyment of their stay. Large groups that rent both treehouses will have an exclusive private experience with no shared decks or hot tubs. It is a win-win for all involved. The Mansion is located on a 50 plus acre property with 7 homes. One of the homes is the original homestead, an authentic log cabin. The land has hiking trails, a labyrinth, A pond to catch and release fish, and a creek that runs year round. there are several hot tubs in the property. The large 5 person hot tub is on a deck overlooking the creek. This hot tub is shared with the neighboring small treehouse and is a SEPARATE rental not included with the mansion. There is also an indoors two person hot tub that is private for mansion guests. On the farm we have several other cool rentable spaces. An authentic civil war cabin. An Ark that was recently featured in southern living magazine and many more. Currently we live in the four-story lighthouse tower because the renovation is not yet completed. There is even a meeting hall or reception area that seats 50 plus people. This lovely home is situated on a fifty plus acre farm. It is nestled under the trees on the Carr Creek shore. There is a pond to catch and release fish. A labyrinth meditation circle. An authentic Civil War Cabin and several other Airbnb listings all on the same farm with many beautiful places to explore and hike. Kroger and Walmart are 1.5 miles away. Nashville is a short 30-minute drive.
  • Loved the place! Nestled right beside a creek and we really enjoyed exploring the property. Had a large group and it was more than satisfactory!

  • absolutely beautiful setting around the house and the house is so spacious. it has a lot of room for big parties or even just great for a small getaway with your person. will 100% stay again.

  • Kelly's Treehouse Mansion was absolutely stunning. The house is not only decorated thoughtfully and beautifully, but the energy of the property is magical. My family and I just spent 5 days at the mansion, where we could rest and heal from a recent tragedy. There is no more peaceful place to be than right next to the bubbling creek, with loved ones close by. Kelly was so hospitable, and met us in person as we arrived. She gave us a tour of the property, and was always readily available if we had questions. This entire property is a gem, and Kelly and her team were eager to share this treasured place with us. Definitely stay here if you are considering a trip to Springfield!

Private campsite in a beautiful, peaceful country setting located 10 min from I24 and 30 minutes outside of Nashville. Campsite has water, electric, outhouse, outdoor shower (cold water only), 30 amp RV hookup and fire pit.
This campsite is located on our private farmette a few hundred yards behind the home where my husband, I and our little son live. We love our little piece of heaven on earth and want to share it with you!
Very peaceful, family oriented neighborhood surrounded by farmland.
  • It was exactly what we expected (plus more)! Starlit wasn’t there when we arrived but her husband was and he recommended places to visit during our stay which was helpful. She is also quick at responding - Definitely recommend!

    Angela2019-11-02T00:00:00Z
  • Starlit's place is exactly as described and pictured. Unfortunately, Starlit and her husband were out when we arrived so we weren't able to meet her until the following day - but she sent directions on how to find the camp site that made everything really easy. The site itself is clean and private and has electricity, fire pit and toilet/shower. It's situated within a ring of trees and so despite the daytime temps of 85 F or more - it was cool and breezy at the campsite all day long. Thoughtful touches like the string lights make the place feel homey and romantic. We really enjoyed our stay. :)

    Lauren2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is The Sweetest Private Campsite ever!! Just loved having a private spot in the country with all the special extras you want in a camping location just outside of Nashville! More fun than you could imagine!

    Katherine2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a great time. This place was amazing. We feel very relaxed and refreshed after our weekend. Starlit and her husband were excellent hosts. They even had fire wood cut and waiting to be lit for us. If you are looking for a very relaxing get away this place is perfect.

    Heather2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Campsite was just what we needed for our weekend stay!

    Shannon2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed here for two nights and the place is absolutely lovely! There is a water supply, small chemical toilets in a cute little shed and a perfect outdoor shower and very nice! (Even our 4 girls loved to have a shower in the morning!) :-) Very nice light garland between the trees that gives a very nice atmosphere instead of the night fell (and so there is also an electric if necessary). A bucolic place full of tranquility, appreciable after a day in the joyful and exalted city of Nashville (40min by car). Thank you so much !!!!

    Olivier2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • This campsite was in such a cozy location! Starlit was very accommodating for our late arrival. Loved the strung lights and the bathroom was as clean as possible! Overall I’d definitely stay again but there were plenty of cows and birds/roosters in the area so maybe bring ear plugs if you’re more of a light sleeper like me :)

    Olivia2019-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing campsite. Starlit and Will were very personable and have a beautiful farm. We loved waking up in the country setting each morning to the sight and sound of the neighboring cows. We enjoyed the beautiful site with electric hook up, especially the lights strung in the trees with our campfire at night. The outhouse was quaint and decorated nicely. It was very relaxing and plenty of room for privacy. We did have several visits from Sunny, Starlit's dog. Sunny was a welcome edition to our site and played with our dogs. He's a friendly fun loving guy :) We would recommend camping here and hope to go back in the future :)

A slice of country heaven only 50 miles from Nashville and 30 minutes from Clarksville. Perfect honeymooners spot.
No neighborhood. Just fields and gorgeous sunsets and sunrises.
  • Needed a place to stay while visiting family and this place was perfect. It didn’t look like much from the outside but the inside was very clean and cozy. Place is out in the country with nice scenery. Communication was fast, helpful, and easy. Would recommend!

  • This is a nice little house in the middle of nowhere but close enough to be reasonable for Clarksville, Nashville, and Bowling Green. The scenery is nice and the host seemed nice as well, although we didnt really need anything from her. Be aware there is no stove. Overall a comfortable and pleasant place to get away from real life.

  • I had not stayed in a location where the room was part of a primary residence, but the stay was truly “cozy”, comfortable, clean, and quite cordial. Kara was laid back and yet quite attentive to details. I feel certain I will be returning.

    Céline2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kara and her dog, Bonnie, are very welcoming. About a 40 minute drive to Nashville, but other than some construction it was an easy drive. The house was in a quiet location and was clean. Kara was very responsive to messages and willing to help with anything we might have needed. We will definitely stay again if we are back in the Nashville area.

    Annie2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kara was an amazing host! This was my first time staying in a private room - I have only stayed in Airbnbs where you have the whole place to yourself. I was a little apprehensive about this but Kara was such a welcoming host! Check in was super easy and Kara sent me instructions on every little detail I needed to make my stay comfortable. The best part was getting to love on Bonnie! She’s such a sweet puppy. :) Kara’s place was super clean and comfortable. She also gave me some local tips and places to check out and even had the fire pit going one night and invited me to enjoy it with her. This place is soooo worth the value, and if you’re like me and don’t want to pay $1000+ to stay in Nashville, this quiet little place is only about 30-40 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again!

    Rowan2019-10-14T00:00:00Z

Bedroom 1 (Bridal Room): King Bed | Bedroom 2 (Groom's Room): King Bed | Bedroom 3 (Guest Room): Full Bed | Bedroom 4: Full Bed | Bedroom 5: Full Bed This 7,000-square-foot Antebellum home was originally constructed in 1855 by the J.P. Ellis family and has been extensively upgraded in the years since. If these walls could talk, they'd tell countless stories, including ones about the Union Soldiers who camped on the property during the Civil War and tended to the children while the ladies of the house prepared meals for them! Though this house is over 160 years old, it still has all the modern comforts of home, like free wireless internet access, air conditioning, and laundry machines. Take a seat on the plush leather couch in the downstairs living area and get caught up on your favorite Netflix shows, or surf the net to plan the next day's activities. Those visiting in the warmer months will enjoy spending the majority of their time out by the swimming pool! Catch a tan on the pool deck while the kids jump off the diving board into the crystal-clear water. With 2 fully equipped kitchens, there's no need to venture far when bellies start to rumble! Your chefs will delight in the ample counter space and stainless steel appliances offered in both kitchens. But when you do feel like eating out, you'll find Nashville's mouthwatering barbecue restaurants and more just 30 miles away. When it's time to dig in, take your plates to the opulent dining room that features a 10-person table set below a crystal chandelier. On pleasant evenings, head outside to the covered patio and dine al fresco at one of the 2 tables. Retire to one of the 5 bedrooms when it's time to hit the hay! Each of the bedrooms provides a comfortable, antique bed and unique decor that you won't find in any other vacation rental home.
Even though you'll feel secluded and away from it all during your stay at this house, you'll be just minutes from the area's top attractions. From golfing to shopping and watching country music bands in Nashville, you can do it all during your stay! The golfers in your group will want to be sure to pack their clubs. Some of the top-rated courses in the area include The Legacy Golf Course, Nashville National Golf Links, and Pebble Brook Golf Course. If you're not cooking in the 2 fully equipped kitchens, take a short drive to one of the nearby restaurants in Springfield! The Copper Vault is great for brunch, lunch, or dinner, and Burdett's Tea Shop is perfect for the tea lovers in your group. After your meal or cup of tea, take a stroll around downtown Springfield to browse some of the boutiques and antique stores. Guests visiting during the summer and October can take a tour of the supposedly-haunted cave and maybe even catch a glimpse of the Bell Witch. Don't miss out on a trip to downtown Nashville - located just a quick 3-mile drive down I24! Explore Music Row featuring the Historic RCA Studio B, known for pioneering the 'Nashville Sound!' Alumni, take a stroll down memory lane on the campus of Vanderbilt University. Additional attractions include The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, and the Tennessee State Capitol!
  • We loved the house and location. We strongly recommend it if you are looking for a lovely place to stay that is in the country.

  • This historical mansion was amazing. The entire house was set up to accommodate every single one of our needs. We had 10 ladies staying for a long weekend and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The bedrooms/bathrooms were fully stocked with towels and soaps and all the bedding necessary. They had a beautiful display of fruit and snacks for us upon arrival and the kitchen had all of the basic amenities, including a stocked coffee station. The pool was so much fun and there was a grill we used for meals as well. We made trips into Nashville which was surprisingly easy to get rides to and from even being about 40 minutes from downtown. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling around Nashville. It was fabulous!

  • Randy's place was perfect for our family to get together. The house was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. It warmed our heart that he put a Christmas tree up before our arrival. We loved our stay. Thank you, Randy!

  • This has been our second stay at this location. Once again, Randy has gone above and beyond to accommodate us. This is definitely our home away from home!

This idyllic 6 BR, 6 1/2 BA Montgomery County farmhouse sits on a creekside and features great views from the large screened porch. It is a secluded getaway that offers ample space for families and other large groups to spend time together.
As you enter through the historic refurbished doors from the Montgomery County courthouse, you know you have come into a special space. The farmhouse was completed in 2002 and designed by a family matriarch who wanted a gathering place for her growing family. It is traditionally furnished, has hardwood and tile floors throughout and includes modern conveniences. On the first floor there is a large living room with a wood burning fireplace, an English pub table and a TV. There is also an open kitchen and dining area, a large bedroom with full bath, utility room with washer & dryer, and a half bath. In the basement there is another gathering area with a TV, card table and ping pong table, in addition to a bedroom and bathroom. Four bedrooms, each with separate bath, are located upstairs. The wrap around porch is a great place to watch the cows graze or to listen to the creek. It is everyone’s favorite place to sip drinks, eat meals, chat with friends and family or just read a book. There are four wrought iron tables with chairs on the porch so it’s a perfect place to entertain large groups. Each of the six large bedrooms has a full bath attached. Room configurations are detailed below: Master floor bedroom - Two standard twin beds Basement bedroom - One queen bed Second floor bedroom #1 - Two standard twin beds, one XL twin, one queen bed Second floor bedroom #2 - Two XL twin beds, one standard twin, one day bed Second floor bedroom #3 - One king bed, one XL twin bed Second floor bedroom #4 - One king bed, one standard twin bed Approximately 45 minutes from downtown Nashville and about 12 miles from downtown Clarksville, this quiet retreat situated on seven acres is a great location for gatherings.

  • This place was wonderful! Chris, was lovely! We came here to have our thanksgiving celebration. It was a good halfway point for families to meet up. The house was perfect to host lots of us! Kiddos enjoyed watching the cows each day. We had one good day of beautiful weather and we really enjoyed walking around. It’s a beautiful piece of property!!! The kitchen is a great place to gather and has all the things you need to make food. We never had to leave! We all loved it and hope to go back again. Thank you again, Chris!!!

    Sarah2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay! The six bedrooms are all big, the living room fireplace adds a cozy touch, the house was immaculate, well-stocked with all you could need and more, the grounds are beautiful, all the games provided kept us happy and busy - and competitive! It was a great time for all of us - from 79 years of age down to 5 months old! And the hospitality of the owners of the house added such a graceful touch. We won't forget our stay!

    Gerry2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful country home is the perfect place for a weekend stay with good friends or family. Plenty of space to be together (inside or on the wonderful porches) or for quiet time apart. The kitchen is spectacular and stocked with everything you need -- 2 or 3 people can easily work together to get a big dinner on the table. The living room is great for watching a football game or conversation or playing games. Can't wait to schedule again!

    May2019-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice house and great set up for a large group (we had 13). Everything we needed was in the kitchen. Plenty of areas to spread out. The only hiccup was that many of us missed the driveway especially when several arrived at night. Chris was great to work with, quickly responded to questions. We will most likely be returning next year!

    Diane2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This property is amazing. It is much better than what the picture shows. You will want for nothing as the entire house is stocked with whatever you need. The house is beautiful and has a great combination of vintage and new amenities. It was hot and muggy during our stay but the temperature was well controlled with good AC and ceiling fans in all rooms. The wraparound deck was great and we spent the most time in it. Would go back in a heartbeat!

    Daniel2019-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • The farmhouse is the perfect place for a large family to have an amazing weekend in the country! Beautiful views. Cozy and spacious. The kitchen has everything you could need to cook family dinners. Tons of games and outdoor play area for the kids. Plenty of room for the whole family!

    Jennie2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • The home is spacious with a great setting. Chris was very responsive to all our inquiries and very gracious upon our arrival.

Welcome to a beautiful, historic home situated in a quaint and quiet small town 30 miles north of Nashville. The Magnolia Room offers our guests a grand bedroom furnished with pre-civil war antiques including an impressive Queen sized, four poster bed. The Magnolia Room is a private room with its own bath which includes a clawfoot tub with a shower and many of the appointments original to the house but with all the modern amenities you would expect.
We provide everything for our guests' stay to be as comfortable as possible, similar to what you would find in a luxury hotel: shampoo, conditioner, soap, high-end linens, a Keurig coffee maker and a mini-fridge. But most of all, we offer privacy. While we are almost always on-site and just an Airbnb communication away, you will rarely see us. We offer a unique experience to stay in a truly historical venue. The Magnolia Room is located in beautiful Springfield, Tennessee. It is a destination in itself, especially for the athletically inclined. We are a few blocks from immaculately maintained public tennis courts, a yoga studio and a greenway several miles long that is perfect for the running enthusiast. We are within walking distance of two beautiful parks for long walks, trail running or just enjoying nature. If you're a cyclist, Robertson County has unparalleled roads for rides from ten miles to a hundred. We can suggest routes that will suit your every desire through the rural farmlands of Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. We think you'll agree with our town slogan: Minutes from Nashville, miles from ordinary. If you're here for a conference or need to work, we offer free wifi access and a desk in the room that will accommodate a laptop for a workspace. Check-in is no earlier than 4:00pm and check-out is 10:00am. We must insist our guests adhere to these times so that we can ensure the space remains immaculate for everyone who stays with us. We do have house rules, and we ask that you respect these for everyone's peace of mind. You will be provided one off-street parking space. Please note, this is a Carolina style house that requires guests to climb stairs to any entrance. Upon check-in, you will be provided your own code to a keyless front door entry system that expires at check-out. The front door must remain closed and locked upon entry and exit. We will do everything we can to make your stay with us extraordinary. This is a quiet, residential area, and only the guests registered with us may be on-site. There is no smoking in the house or on the property. We have a large dog and cat on-site, but they are not allowed in your wing of the home. We have a no-pet policy in place for guests. Our guests do not have access to a kitchen, and we do not allow cooking in the room. Because this is a one bedroom suite, we limit occupancy to no more than two adults. Additionally, because of the antique appointments of the home, we do not allow guests under 18 years of age. Use the provided clothes hamper for all used linens. Quiet hours are set from 10:00pm to 7am. You may hear our dog after hours as he does not understand this policy, especially during thunderstorms. Because we stay in a different area of the home, this should not be an issue. All house rules are posted in the room. These rules are in place to ensure the quality of your visit. Finally, have fun and enjoy your stay! We call this the "Magnolia Room" because right outside your window is the grand dame of magnolias, over a hundred years old, like the house itself. We look forward to welcoming you to a charming town and a one-of-a-kind stay in an historical gem.
Situated in an historic district, just blocks from shops and restaurants on the town square. We provide a list of local attractions!
  • What a cool room! I stayed here while passing through on a road trip of sorts and mostly needed to relax - and that I did. I felt a bit like a queen perched high in my bed, sipping tea with my snacks and gazing out the massive windows into the historic district. I had the whole entryway, bedroom, and bathroom to myself so it felt like I had the entire place. Staci and Mike were great hosts too - super friendly, accommodating, and responsive. I will most certainly be back during my next pass through!

    Hailey2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Charming hosts and a gorgeous, quiet space to kick back and put your feet up. Highly recommended; will book again.

  • Stays true to the town motto. Great for Nashville travelers looking to stay somewhere with good bang for your buck. The stay went far beyond my expectations because of all the added touches of luxury like snacks, hot cocoa, coffee, face wash, etc. She was very welcoming and helpful and her home has an unparalleled charm. 110% recommend!!

  • The Magnolia Room is the most relaxing and BEAUTIFUL place to stay. We stayed here to commute to Nashville and it was an easy drive. I would recommend this place to everyone. The room is incredible and feels so private even though we didn’t have the whole place to ourselves! We will stay here again :)

  • Staci, Mike, et al, were wonderful hosts. Very personable, sweet with awesome conversation. Their historical home retains touches of its original build history with modern amenities and great touches; just as described. Springfield is a quaint town with some delightful offerings. The location is central to exploring the surrounding area from Nashville to Kentucky and several historical offerings as well. It was a wonderful last minute stay.

    Kirsten2019-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful space in a wonderful location. Amenities and thoughtful touches make for a great stay. Staci responds quickly and couldn’t be more hospitable.

  • Kelly's was absolutely beautiful and perfect. Very quiet and clean. She left fresh flowers all over the cabin. She even left a hand written note with cookies to my husband and I (we were celebrating our anniversary). She definitely went above and beyond what I expected.

One of a kind civil war cabin. Located on 50 plus acres. Pristinely placed steps away from the Creek. Only 30 minutes from Nashville. Completely off the grid. Moderate electricity only enough for lights. No inside running water there is a faucet outside. This is a very rustic experience. Not for the faint of heart :-) We have one queen bed upstairs & a twin. There is a porta-potty outside the cabin. No A/C. Very hot in summer. Propane heater and fireplace for heat in winter.
There is currently a squirrel living in the roof that we can’t evict. Be advised it could disrupt your sleep :-(
  • A true piece of paradise that looks even more beautiful in person. Exceptional hosts, with grate accuracy for details regarding the location, and great in communicating. A genuine place that offers you much more then you expected, nature that is beautiful, and a true return to the life that is unfortunately forgotten in this modern time. Once again, amazing experience, and a truly memorable place!

    Miljenko2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly was extremely accommodating and communicative. I was last minute in booking on a Friday night and asked for a special request. Kelly and her staff didn’t hesitate to accommodate me. I can’t wait for my next road trip, just so I can stay there again (and for longer!).

    Mallory2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I stopped here on our way down to the Everglades and we’ll definitely be back in the future. The location is beautiful and fairly near downtown Nashville (25-30 min). Some pros for this spot included: - gorgeous property and helpful, informative, and friendly hosts - the cabin is located decently far away from the other buildings on the property and is quite private - there were several thoughtful touches to our stay, including fresh flowers - the cabin itself was well maintained and really cool! A few things to note if you plan on staying here — - while there are a couple lamps placed in the loft and the staircase, the cabin is pretty dark at night and I recommend bringing a lantern or two - the loft is accessed by a steep ladder/staircase and is slightly difficult to climb, might not be great for those who have small children or have difficulty climbing stairs - the hosts provided a heating pad and there is a propane heater located on the bottom floor, but the cabin gets pretty chilly during cold weather. I recommend bringing extra blankets if you can.

    Sid2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Such an experience; a step back in time, to the life my grandparents lived. Everything was better than we expected. A dining table set up for two, flowers on the table. Everything was so cozy. She even had a back up propane heater available, for those who turn out to be not so proficient with their fireplace skills, or if a little more heat is needed on a really cold night. We cooked chili dogs outside over a fire on a triangle rack and had s'mores for dessert. Since it was such a beautiful clear night outside, we ate outside on the picnic table. With the heated mattress pad cover, we crawled into a toasty warm bed. We had the pilot set on the propane heater that if it got too cold during the night after our fire burned out, it would come on. A night or two we had to go down and just turn it off because the heat rises really well to the upstairs bedroom. Proficiency with stairs is a must here, but the climb up to a cozy bed was worth it. The back porch and it's view of the fork in Carr Creek, was beautiful. Especially during sunset, when the view is spectactular. Lots of wildlife around to see and listen to. A pair of squirrels that like to chase each other across the roof. But it was all very relaxing and being tech free takes you back to a simpler time when conversation and cuddles were king.

    Debbie2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • A great and unique place to stay. Not for the faint of heart, but the hosts were great and even got the fire going for us. Wonderful stay!

  • We truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin and the grounds are charming, quaint, peaceful and adorable. Have and would highly recommend a visit to the property and with this host. Tammy and Kelly and Karen are very hospitable and really bring to life the value of Southern Charm. Enchanting property. Thank you so much! ❤️

    Theresa2019-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at the Civil War cabin for just one evening. The weather was a little wet and the temperature outdoors was around 68F and cooled off a little overnight. We arrived to find the cabin more equipped than we anticipated and the table had lovely place settings. We ate prior to arriving but the gesture was appreciated :) We spent the evening enjoying wine and playing cards by the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable. The rain must’ve pushed the critters into the cabin ceiling because they seemed to be enjoying a dance party above our heads throughout the night. We did not see any inside the cabin so it just turned into a bit of background/white noise we got used to throughout the evening. Given the rustic nature of the cabin, we gave them 5 stars on all accounts. It suited our needs of having an overnight stay halfway through a long ride between Kansas City and Augusta. A fun experience! I was relieved to find that it was situated on a larger property and felt safe. Bonus: we came across a lovely coffee shop (Beck’s) on our way back to the interstate that I would highly recommend.

  • My husband and I enjoyed our much needed weekend getaway and Kelly went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Sometimes, you just have to getaway away for a few days to absolutely do “nothing”. The walk down to the creek where the old Civil War cabin was has to be my favorite. It’s easy to forget everyday hectic life and just enjoy the beauty of nature and the surroundings. ❤️

  • This was one on of the most beautiful hidden gems we could have found through this site. Tucked away in its little slice of heaven, it was such a peaceful place to stay. My only regret is that we could only stay one night. My boyfriend was so surprised for his birthday and this beautiful space and the gracious hospitality of its keepers (and their pups) made it truly a special time. We’ll definitely be back! Don’t pass this up!

  • Photos cannot do justice to the beauty and charm of this idyllic retreat. The fresh flowers everywhere, the classy decor, the many, many outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy nature... all of these are great, but what really stands out even more is the kindness of the staff. What an experience! Wish we could have stayed forever.

    Elizabeth2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • Peaceful, easy feeling. We returned from the rowdiness and noise of Nashville. I don't know that this space is always to tranquil-- gurgling brook and all--but it was when we were here. Reminds me of areas in Western Mass and Catskills, which is closer to my neck of the woods. Very comfortable place, I felt it was very private. I wish the the weather was a bit nicer and I had more time so I could walk around the area a little, but not to be. Ommm.

The Riverhouse at Southern light is a beautiful 6,000 square foot executive retreat resting on a high bluff overlooking red river with plenty of antique and mid-century style furniture. This property is setup of for many things to fit whatever the guest's needs are. Several big decks to relax, and enjoy the beauty of the site.
Great for family reunions, corporate retreats, weekend getaways for friends and family.
    Quiet and Secluded. Totally rural.

  • Great place to stay with multiple guests. I came for a family reunion with several family members and we were comfortably accommodated. The process to book the place was easy and Jerry (owner) took care of any request we had. The House The House is located on private property overlooking the Red River and farmland. Nice, quiet and relaxing place to visit, in addition it is not far from Clarksville metro area. House has 4 full bathrooms supplied with towels and soap. Everything was provided (except for food) from utensils, bakeware, dishes, etc. Plenty of dining seating. Also, the outside had a large deck with more seating and great views. The owners were very responsive. I would recommend this property, especially for large groups.

  • I am not sure where to start. Pictures cannot do this house justice. Jerry’s house is a work of art with many genuine personal touches that is hard to find. We arrived in this area from all parts of the US for a wedding. Our guests (and we filled this house) were so impressed by their experience and all wished we had more time to spend there. The house sits on a bluff above the Red River overlooking farmland as far as the eye can see. Wild Turkey and Deer were seen daily as we enjoyed the views from the balconies and huge deck/patio. The outside areas are lit up at night with enhanced lighting from the tree tops and all around the house. Plenty of parking, wide open spaces, and everything possible already provided, make this house a very desirable vacation home.

With Nashville, Tennessee being the home of COUNTRY MUSIC, USA, here is your chance to stay inside and sleep like the Stars so that you can get the full experience of what it's like to be over the road traveling like many famous country music singers. This coach was owned by a Country Music Group who is very popular and still very much active. If walls could talk, I promise you this bus would be able to tell you a lot of great stories.
The Bus is 45 Foot and 5 Inches in length. It can sleep a maximum of 12 people, and the coach is fully self contained. There is a full bathroom (toilet, sink, and shower) 12 beds, front lounge, and rear lounge. There is a small kitchen area with microwave, and 2 refrigerators. There are 2 large Ice Coolers which I will make sure is full of ice and stocked with bottles of water during your stay. As mentioned up above, this coach use to belong to a EXTREMELY FAMOUS Country Music Group. Most companies who own buses will not rent a bus for the night, or for the day, so if you have ever wanted to sleep on a bus like the country music singers, here is your golden opportunity.
Everything is pretty much 1 mile or less from where the coach is parked. So if you need anything such as Super Walmart, Lowes, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, O'Charley's McDonald's, etc. Everything is approx. 1 mile or less.
