It's GLAMPING (glamorous camping), minutes to the park. Hot outdoor shower & private bathroom! I have a 4-legged welcoming committee that love new friends! You also have access to my large viewing deck to view sunset, stargaze & chill.
CHARMING & UNIQUE, this cabin with access to private swimming hole is a wonderful & fun retreat with *stunning* views of the Sierra Nevadas on 7+ acres... Right on the edge of Sequoia Nat’l Park, you'll be sitting secluded, high above the main-fork of the Kaweah, falling asleep to the sounds of the river below you. There is an outdoor hot shower and a private bathroom a short walk down the driveway. I supply a lantern light. With bohemian-style decor, air conditioner, faux fireplace heater, mini fridge, French press coffee maker with fresh ground coffee, microwave, plates bowls & silverware, it has all you need except a full kitchen. SEE GUIDEBOOK FOR THIS LISTING! :) This is one of the most beautiful destinations in California. The magical Sequoia National Park is pristine yet not overrun with people like some other areas. King's Canyon is simply breathtaking as well. You will truly get a unique mountain experience here with the many wonderful trails and vistas to explore. With more than 400,000 acres and 800 miles of hiking trails, Sequoia National Park — California’s first — is a wonderland. Its Giant Forest is home to 8,000 sequoias, including the General Sherman tree, which towers 275 feet into the air. It’s an easy ½-mile hike from trailhead to tree, although that 7,000-foot elevation may leave you breathless. Don’t miss the park’s historic Giant Forest Museum and nearby Round Meadow, encircled by giant sequoias and the 0.8-mile Big Trees Trail. Find maps and details at the SEKI website. Three Rivers is also a great place to kick around—art galleries, eateries and a great atmosphere make this a special little town! :) LOCAL NOTE: there’s a great casual place at the bottom of the hill called The Gateway (drive don’t walk)... they have a yummy bar menu, onion rings, chicken wings etc. or you could grab a hot or cold drink and sit on the river deck. very comfy & beautiful. :)
  • What an amazing place to spend the end of our CA adventure. Truly the most amazing location and the cutest cabin I’ve ever stayed in. Jana was more than helpful and provided us with local tips as well as snacks galore! If you’re looking for a slice of isolated heaven, this is it. You will not be disappointed!

  • Great place to stay, very close to sequoia park entrance. Outdoor shower was nice feature and the trail down to private swimming hole with crystal clear water was awesome. Would definitely go back if in the area.

  • We had the most amazing stay! Perfect location, near the park entrance and right on the river. The private trail to the swimming hole was incredible and really peaceful. I would love to stay again, and definitely look forward to it. Jana was a great host and everything was easy. If you’re looking for a great location near the Sequoia NP here it is!

March is the most beautiful month for wildflowers. Because of the coronovirus the Parks are very quiet. No waiting at the gate and lots of parking. Inviting quiet cabin on the way to the Mineral King section of Sequoia National Park, and 4 miles from the main entrance to Sequoia National Park. The dwelling and garden overlook the Great Western Divide, wildlife, and horses. A/C & central heat. There's a great place to feed, water and rest your horses if you’re traveling with them, too.
The views are spectacular. Moro Rock, Alta Peak, Great Western Divide, Eagle Rock and more. The views are best seen while walking or driving around the property Horses welcome. As a matter of fact if you peek down the hill from the parking area you'll find the rescue horses that live here and maybe even some of the rescue dogs that are living out their dog dreams here on the ranch as well.
This Mineral King property sits overlooking the Great Western Divide amongst the manzanita, and the majestic oaks. It's located 5 miles from the Sequoia National Park gate, and about 20 miles from Mineral King.
  • I have never ever had a harder time leaving a rental behind. No photos could ever do this gem the justice it deserves. Renee’s property is healing on so many different levels, it instantly feels like home. And Renee herself is the most kind-hearted host I’ve ever had. I will DEFINITELY be returning and until then will be constantly dreaming of this breathtaking haven.

    Devany2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Renee's cottage is spectacular. Spotless, incredibly well appointed, extremely comfortable, and the location on Mineral King Road is just indescribable...very close to Sequoia but the Mineral King area itself is even better. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

    James2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy space, peaceful, quiet, clean, and beautiful. Stocked with plenty of snacks and fast breakfast options. Amazing place to getaway and relax. Host was wonderful as well, would love to stay again.

    Mario2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend Renee's beautiful, cozy cabin! Was a great place to stay and would definitely return. Renee was a very welcoming host. It's conveniently located close to Sequoia National Park and very comfortable.

    James2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Renee was super friendly and quick to respond with any questions. The guesthouse was exactly as shown in the pictures. The fresh flowers were also a nice touch to the rooms! The guesthouse was homey with all the amenities (e.g. heater, two shower heads, comfy bed) but also felt secluded out in the wilderness with the wide windows to the mountains. I highly recommend the place!

    Elizabeth2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Renee's place is a wonderful retreat for those of you looking to step away from city life for a few days. Everything was spotless and the decor is extremely quaint and cute. You will have all the amenities available to you for a comfortable stay. Directions are very straight forward and you should have no trouble finding her place. Check-in is super easy with the keypad lock and Renee is also very responsive with messages. She will help with whatever you need. Highly recommend!

    Jason2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Renee’s place is very close to a dream place when you want to be explore a peaceful retreat as well as do some activities in the national park. Very cozy and comfortable. The place has a very artistic ambience and the surroundings are so nature-friendly. Our family spent great two nights there. So glad to get to know Renee and her horses, too. She helped my son feed Lucy and Angie with some apples and carrots. Thanks a lot, Renee. We hope to visit you again soon.

    Hyun S.2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and cozy! Had a wonderful time. Renee left snacks out for us and there’s a binder with a bunch of recommendations and maps of the parks. The bed was huge and really comfortable! There is a great outdoor area as well. Renee was very clear with instructions! Will try to come back!

  • This is a wonderful private place with a spectacular view. The cabin has everything one needs. The towels are fluffy. The sheets are luxurious. It’s quite a special place. We wished we had stayed longer.

    Jenny2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Really nice place. The view is amazing. Definitely try to do check in during daylight hours. Very peaceful and relaxing. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy everything the place has to offer.

    Jose2020-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for two nights in February and it was BEAUTIFUL. So close to the park entrance and the dogs are super sweet and friendly. Love Jana's recommendations. We went to Gateway, Riverview, and Casa Mendoza(Definitely the favorite, great breakfast). The view from the deck is beautiful and has great chairs and a swing. Literally in the park 2 minutes down the road.

    Erin2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a special place. Exactly the experience we wanted. Chill, serene and very low key. The cabin itself has so much charm. We really appreciated the snack basket. Jana greeted us with a smile, a wave and warm energy... the pups did as well.. minus the wave. Be prepared, The views from the front deck and the sheer proximity to even more beauty is stunning. You’d be missing out if you didn’t star gaze.

A 1960s A-frame cabin that sits at 5,620 ft (1,713 m) on the border of the Sequoia National Forest (not park) w/ views of the valley below. Enjoy the off-the-grid feel without sacrificing comfort. It takes around 40 min to get to town, but the beautiful drive is worth the amazing view & wood burning stove. Comfortably sleeps 4 people (1 queen-sized bed, 2 futons). Kitchen w/ essentials, satellite WiFi & Sonos speakers for music streaming. Please do not forget to read "Other things to note"
The Seqouia A-frame cabin sits at 5,620 ft (1,713 m) in the Sequoia National Forest with amazing views of the desert below. 40 min to town. It's more or less off-the-gride, so it's a perfect getaway for those who want to disconnect from city life. Here are some details on this gem: THE CABIN - On roughly 0.5 acres of land. There are two cabins within view, however, they are second homes and they're usually empty. So, it's relatively private - 1 loft bedroom - 1 bathroom - 1 wood-fired stove w/ firewood available - 860 square feet - 1 living room with a 42" flat screen (not pictured) and new couches/chairs - Audio-Technica record player w/ 2 Sonos speakers in the house (feel free to bring your own records) or you can just stream music from your phone - Internet-enabled TV w/ Amazon Fire - WiFi throughout house - 4 electric wall heaters w/ a wood burning stove - I'm allergic to dogs and cats, so I don’t allow animals since I stay in the cabin quite frequently, however, I’m amenable to allowing certain hypoallergenic breeds. Feel free to message me if you have any questions - Plenty of hiking trails nearby and a beautiful lookout from Blue Ridge just a short 0.3 mi walk down the road - It occasionally sees snow, however, I keep pretty close tabs on the weather in the area (specifically at that elevation), so I'll let you know what the weather is like. It shouldn't affect your access as long as you've got chains and an all-wheel-drive vehicle - Since the property runs on a well, when the weather is extremely cold, I sometimes have to turn off the water. So you may have to turn it on and I've provided instructions in the guest manual sent via AirBnB. Additionally, we ask guests to be considerate of the water they use to avoid running the well dry during the dry season THE KITCHEN - All you need to bring is your food (and drinks)! - Coconut oil/salt & pepper for cooking - Seasoning rack - 1 oven w/ a stove top - Completely stocked with cooking needs, including pots, pans, serving dishes, coffee mugs, glasses, cookie trays, colander, and more - Plenty of cooking knives - Enough forks/spoons/knives/plates for at least 4 people - Includes a french press and coffee grinder - Toaster (not a toaster oven) - Dish soap, cleaning pads, and a drying rack (no dishwasher) - Includes paper towels, oven mitts, measuring cups, and various other kitchen utensils THE BATHROOM - Soap & shampoo provided (I currently don’t have shampoo for all hair types, but I’m working on that) - Hairdryer provided...you never know - Turkish towels (I'm on the minimal end, so I don't stock washcloths). For now, I don't have a washer and dryer in the unit, so you'll have to use the drying rack. For guests staying long-term, I can arrange to have fresh towels delivered with an additional cost of $30 per delivery of towels (goes directly to my caretaker) - Toilet paper provided...just in case there were any concerns ;) - BBQ grill available upon request

  • What can I say? Nicolas’s cabin is pretty much the perfect getaway. All the amenities are there that you could possibly need. Detailed instructions for any problem you may have, as well as him being quick to respond and lend a hand if you need. The location is very scenic and extremely quiet. If you take a walk around you’ll be greeted by a wonderful view as well. I appreciate his hospitality and giving me a 10/10 experience. Till next time friend! Thank You 😌

  • Ultimate retreat in the mountains with all the needed pieces for exceptional relaxation and inspiration. The hardest part was to leave... Highly recommended!

    Amos2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wow! What a beautiful place! My wife and I loved our time at Nick’s cabin. Once we passed by the Sequoia National Park sign, the next 5 miles up the road to the cabin were breathtaking. The house has more charm than words can describe. I’d recommend hitting up the Food For Less in Porterville for all your supplies (wood, food, snacks, drinks,etc...)

    Aaron2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This location was absolutely breathtaking. Just the ride alone to the cabin was brilliant. The style and decoration was so warming and welcoming, the place was incredibly clean and if you like a wood stove fire and some relaxation, this was definitely the place to visit. More than anything, you won't hate waking up to the beautiful skyline of the mountains from the loft bedroom. Thanks again, Nicholas!

    Jordan2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • A fun and cozy A-frame with top of the mountain views. An adventurous experience! Nicholas was a great host and provided thoughtful touches, especially the coffee press! A great place to getaway and escape the everyday.

    Camille2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time in this A-frame in the woods. Just ten minutes up the road is a collection of communications equipment and some spectacular views of the valley and the sunset. We drove into Springville for lunch at Frank's at the Springville Inn one day, and happened upon the local flea market too! Beautiful location and everything was perfect. We'll be back!

    Maggie2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome stay! Views from the nearby viewpoint were amazing, house was comfy and had everything we needed. Don’t forget to bring firewood!

    Taylor2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute, cozy, romantic cabin! We had a great time spending a few days here for our honeymoon! Nicholas is very, very helpful and was quick to respond when we had questions. The drive up is definitely not for the faint of heart, especially if you drive at night or during the snow! But it was so beautiful. Nicholas also provides a lot of cooking essentials as well, which is great! There’s also speakers in the cabin which are such a great touch so you can play your music and just relax! If you do happen to get the chance to stay here when it snows please do because it is absolutely beautiful.

The house is located at the end of a Cul De Sac and down your own private drive. Serenity Rustic Retreat is possibly the most private home in Squaw Valley.
  • Beautiful home with a beautiful view. It’s not called serenity ranch for nothing. It was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. There were also a lot of beautiful animals around the property such as peacocks and wild horses that would come and drink from the creek. Definitely would recommend staying here if you’re looking to get away from city life.

    Monica2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our time here. The property is vast and the house has everything you need—plus a DVD/tape collection. Though it’s remote and rural, we had no trouble accessing the property.

    Dean2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Great place in a peaceful, quiet area. Make sure to follow the listing’s directions (and not Google Maps) when getting to the house. Sandra was very responsive in helping us navigate to the house.

    Korn2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a get away. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Thank you : )

    Nhia2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place if you want to be alone! There is no cell service on the property. So no annoying texts. We had cows roaming the yard just as we were leaving. About 1/2 dozen calf's. Suggestion for anyone staying here. -Pick up food before you arrive. It's a 10 minute drive to get to the main road. -if you want to watch movies, they provide a bunch of DVD's and VHS. If you want to watch your own stuff, download movies, bring a HDMI cable and a laptop. There is no service to stream movies. -the water does have a sulfur smell. It's not a big deal. A bit annoying, but 100% safe. -if you are staying in the winter time like we did, make sure to keep everything closed up. It takes awhile to warm the place up even with the heater and fire going -the Pizza Place near by is great. They even had GF crust so we both could eat there. -the store nearby has fire logs for sale. I'd recommend buying them outside of the area. The only have the small 1.5hr ones and they are a bit pricy. It's a simple place in a beautiful setting. Watch for the peacocks, mules, cows, horses and other barnuard animals along your drive!

    Erik2020-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • My friends and I had a great stay and would stay again anytime. The water had a slight smell, but nothing too bad. Sandra was able to work with us on a misunderstanding on my part which was great.

  • Amazing yard by a creek. You can bring pets so that’s awesome.

Coffee in morning on the awesome balcony right out of the master bedroom doors was heavenly, we did not want to leave !.. book your stay don’t hesitate, we will definitely be visiting again. A cozy vintage cabin, with heating, AC, TV, well appointed with complete kitchenette, private fire pit, and BBQ. Original knotty pine paneling creates a romantic candle-lit glow to interior. Backs up to wild lands, and only 3 minutes from Sequoia National Park entrance. Enjoy sounds of the river out back while being across the street from local favorite, The Totem, a gift shop and BBQ deli. Relax and hangout at the Redwood Bar which offers local & imported craft beer and California wines.
The River Oak and adjacent Twin Oak are well maintained vintage cabins, within 2 minutes of Sequoia National Park Gate. Original vintage knotty pine paneling, give off the glow of a hundred candles. Private heavy duty redwood trellised BBQ areas, with fire pit and picnic tables. Best local BBQ, deli, and wine room just across and up about 1/2 block. You'll love the cabin experience.
A great cabin property backing up to the wilderness, but just on the way to the Main Gate entrance of the Sequoia National Park (3 minutes). A nearby full restaurant and bar, and conveniently located 1/2 block from the totem deli, bbq, and wine room.
  • This cabin was perfect for our visit to Sequoia. It was a very easy drive up to the park and the market/restaurant was yummy and convenient

    Lizeth2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing place, amazing view. Sparking clean and everything we needed.

    Martha2020-03-04T00:00:00Z

  • Adjacent to another cabin next door. Very close to the park. Great experience overall :)

    Hersh2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The location is great and the cabin was very clean and comfortable even as small as it was. Pamela is on top of things and will respond quickly and accommodate your every need. I would definitely stay there again.

    Diane2020-02-08T00:00:00Z
  • Pamela’s place is exactly as described. The place was clean and I really enjoyed the patio with the fire pit! It was the perfect size for the night my boyfriend and I stayed, and the location was perfect for our trip to Sequoia. There’s a cute little market just across the street great for some last minute snacks with really nice staff as well. It was freezing when we first arrived at the cabin but the heater kicked in well after about 20 minutes. We also couldn’t find the remote for the TV but it’s okay because we ended up not really needing it. The only big complaint I have is the security of the place. It’s right next to a major road, and neither the front or back door had deadbolt locks working. I really like feeling secure at night so that kind of made me nervous. But overall, the place was really great for our trip to Sequoia!

    Emeri2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location. Clean and quaint. Outdoor scenery from balcony is lovely, sound of river very relaxing. Ease of entry is super convenient. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

    Me'Elani2019-12-29T00:00:00Z
  • The stay at the cabin was exactly as we expected. A very relaxing, private and perfect time in sequoia. Very thankful for the cleanliness and ease of access. All in all a great trip and experience I would recommend again and again. Thanks for the stay!

    Josephine2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Overall fab experience, it's located in an area that's super convenient. With a cute little general store and restaurant right across the street! It was also a really close drive to the park entrance which was great. The cabin itself was very clean, cozy and had several homey touches. We enjoyed our stay there thoroughly!

    Mariana2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, the only uncomfortable thing was the flies

    Gabriel2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A great getaway cabin, a place to enjoy nature. Everything is there, they provide with things such as utensils, grill, fire place, and wifi. Overall great experience and will be coming back.

    Angel2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful place to stay! Really close to the park entrance. The heater worked very well and the outside fire pit made our meals very enjoyable! We would recommend this location to anyone and everyone!

    Steven2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • I loved that they accepted my reservation last minute, which was the day of arrival. It was a short, quick little getaway and close. I really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit that was easy to use. The best part was the nearby river which I loved! It was far enough to get away from work life yet close enough to still be close to stores and gas stations.

  • Great stylish place ! Walkable to a lot of shops and right next to the river! Beautiful touches throughout, we definitely would stay here again.

    Jayd2020-03-18T00:00:00Z
  • We truly enjoyed our time here! We definitely plan to be back and we loved the convenience of the location. Although we at first thought it was in a strange area since it’s in the middle of restaurants and shops but it’s so convenient. Literally can just walk to get food without having to drive. We loved it!

    Wendy2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very good location. The common areas are really superb. A whole stretch of river that is totally private is quite incredible. The casita is very spacious and pleasant. Good equipment. No complaints !

    Maritza2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great location and beautiful backyard views of the river. Everything was super cozy and stylish! Adored our stay and had a blast walking to the brewery and grabbing coffee next door in the am. Thanks for having us!

    Rachel2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Pam’s place is the perfect river/National Park getaway! It’s in such a cozy spot next to local restaurants and coffee shops and everyone is so kind and helpful. The bed was so nice to come back to after a long day of hiking! Make sure to swing by the Sequoia Coffee Shop for some yummy pastries and delicious coffee!

    Kaycee2020-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and nice, Great location and I will consider going back in case I go back there. The downside for me was the toilet paper, could be a nicer brand. Another thing is that I did not understand that one of the apartments, the one we got, is not facing the river but the road. So basically the windows are covered and it bothered me, I like natural light.

    Yuval2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • There is so much to this place. The main reason why I picked Pam's place is its location- close to the park, backyard is the river, near gas stations and restaurants. I read in other reviews concerns about the noise. Yes, it is right on the highway so you will hear cars driving and sometimes noise from the sub place next door BUT I still think it is worth it. The place itself is spacious, the bed is super comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are clean (the whole place is clean) and the backyard is wonderful. I spent my second morning in the back with hot tea and breakfast listening to the river. Great place! Hope to return soon.

    Cesia2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This Airbnb is AMAZING! The inside is huge, well decorated & very clean. The views from the backyard are spectacular. If you need a place to stay in 3R, this is it!

  • It was our second time staying at Casita and we wouldn't choose any other option in the area. Perfect location, amazing place, very very clean and with plenty of thoughtful touches. You will find everything you need for a perfect getaway! Jana is an amazing host very responsive and kind. Thank you so so much we cannot wait to be back!

    Anastasia2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • You can expect this place to be true to the pictures. The location is unbeatable, unless of course, you are staying at the lodges inside Sequoia National Park. We were pleasantly surprised by how close we were in mileage to the entrance of the Park. After a day of driving and hiking, it was SO nice to unwind in the Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi was well maintained and had stunning views of the mountains. Sierra Vista Casita was also very clean and we had a comfy stay here! We loved it!

    Brianna2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is the prefect mountain getaway with all the amenities you could hope for. Light up the grill for dinner after adventuring in the Sequoias, enjoy a pot of brewed coffee in the morning to the sound of the creek, soak in the hot tub after a long day of hiking. The casita is well located, super clean and inviting. Perfect get away weekend.

    Leonice2020-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Was a lovely casita in the perfect spot near the park. Thanks for everything Jana!

    Ganit2020-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is the perfect weekend getaway! Right next to the Sequoia National park entrance and just down the road from the little town strip. The casita is so cute! Comfy bed, great kitchen area, and nice little picnic table next to the fountain in the front of the casita. Our favorite features were the fireplace, jacuzzi and shower. The only drawback was the insects, which of course is mostly out of anyone’s control. (spiders, mosquitos, red ants, scorpions) so keep the doors closed and thoroughly check before you sit down anywhere outside!

    Rachel2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Jana’s casita is a lovely place only about 4 miles from the entrance of Sequoia national park. The dial-in pad made checking in effortless. The place was very clean and easy to operate. I would recommend Jana’s Casita to anyone looking to explore Three Rivers and Sequoia.

    Matt2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jana's place was perfect for our Sequoia trip. Her binder was very clear with tips for Three Rivers and hikes in the park. We also enjoyed the hot tub under the night sky. I saw a shooting star! The backyard area is near some trees where we got to enjoy some bird watching (woodpeckers and a red tailed hawk). I would recommend Jana's place to anyone who is interested in exploring the area.

    Shylo2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Charming house in a fabulous location! Hot tub takes a really long time (over an hour) to heat up but the stargazing is magical on the patio overlooking the mountains. The fireplace is cozy and warm.

Looking for a lovely place to stay with amazing views? At Mineral King Guest House, you'll feel like you're up in the trees or right in the Milky Way. We are two miles from the Foothills entrance station for Sequoia National Park. The apartment is about 500 square feet in two rooms plus a bathroom. It is directly under and completely separate from the main living space of the house.
Mineral King Guest House has a complete kitchen with a gas barbecue outside. A stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, etc., allows you to cook meals if you choose to eat in. Coffee, juice, bagels, fruit, condiments, and a variety of snacks are provided for your convenience. The apartment has one bedroom, with a queen bed, and a full-size fold-out couch in the living room area. The space is ideal for a couple, plus one additional person. In addition, we could put a fold-out futon on the floor of the bedroom. The apartment has a unique, triangular-shaped bathroom with shower. Outside, you may sit at a bistro table to watch the hummingbirds, or relax on the spacious deck while viewing Moro Rock and the Kaweah River. Access to a the washer and dryer can be arranged in advance. A variety of games and books is available along with Wifi. Our home is very private and uniquely built around a hillside. The panoramic view is spectacular - you'll wake up with a smile as you watch the hills turn golden in the morning sun, and you'll experience the peaceful rose glow from the setting sun.
We're just 2 miles from the entrance to Sequoia National Park at Ash Mountain, and 30 miles from Giant Forest and the General Sherman Tree. Take binoculars when you climb Moro Rock and see if you can spot our house from the top. In the summer and fall, you can continue up our road to Mineral King where hiking trails range from easy to challenging. You can also reach the park by going to the end of South Fork Rd, where the ladybugs hibernate in the winter. If you like mountain biking, consider heading up Skyline Drive and exploring the trails on the BLM property at Salt Creek. Nearby attractions include mountain biking, river rafting (in season), swimming and house boating on the lake, and trail rides through the local stables. St. Anthony's Retreat Center is close by and offers a great place for reflection. If archeology is your passion, you can explore the area for Native American artifacts, grinding holes, and pictographs, particularly at Hospital Rock. Local restaurants offer a variety of dining options. We highly recommend Sierra Subs and Salads. If shopping interests you, we have several options. Heart's Desire will provide exactly the right gift to take home to family and friends. The Barn has a variety of selections from local artists. Nadi Spencer's art studio is always a treat to visit.
  • This is the perfect destination for a relaxing weekend getaway. My partner and I left San Francisco to explore some of the nature Northern California had to offer — we ended up extending our stay by an extra night because the house + the nearby area was so wonderful. Waking up next to a giant sunny window with a beautiful view of the grassy hills and sounds of a calming wind chime was a dream. There are also hummingbirds nearby the house and they stop by the feeders daily, which was great to watch as we had never seen them before. We loved cooking in the kitchen and it was fully stocked for all of our needs. Sue has everything prepared — spices, spreads, jams, beverages, baking supplies, even bottles of wine. The space heater made it warm and cozy to come home after a long snowy hike in Sequoia. We also loved exploring the little shops in the town — there was a great ice cream place along with many restaurants and grocery stores where we picked up ingredients to make dinner. Thanks for making our first weekend trip so special and memorable! We loved staying here and hope to come back soon.

  • A great place to stay! Highly recommend, and Sue is an amazing host.

    Madeline2020-03-14T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is an especially convenient stay if you’re visiting Sequoia National Park. She is very hospitable, greeted our car in the driveway, followed by a brief tour of the place and a few dinner suggestions. Apartment was stocked with food, drinks (hard & soft), and had adorable personal touches.

    Samantha2020-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • The place is wonderful! An all-glass house on the mountain, by the river. A wonderful view. We arrived at night and saw deer on the spot. Really special area. Very comfortable and clean apartment. It is very close to the entrance to Sequoia Park.

    Salviano2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • We would have loved to stay longer at Mineral King! Sue met us as we pulled up and showed us around the house, giving us recommendations of where to go in the Sequoia National Park and in Three Rivers. Our night at Mineral King was restful, and we felt right at home. From the back deck to look out at the stars, to the book/DVD collection, and the fridge stocked with breakfast food and wine, we had absolutely everything we needed.

    Logan2020-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay in the guest house. Our stay was very peaceful and cozy, we enjoyed disconnecting from our busy routine. The view from the deck is phenomenal. Also it is very convenient to the entrance of Sequoia NP. Overall an amazing place we will be returning for sure.

Nicely upgraded in a quiet location with great views.
Located on the west edge of the town of Lone Pine facing Mt Whitney and the Sierra. There are two residences on this property and this one is on the south in a completely fenced private area. Very quiet with amazing views!
  • This place is just wonderful. The view is stunning! Jennifer was very quick to respond and provided advice on things to do in the area. The location is great for exploring Death Valley, the Alabama Hills, and the mountains. Everything about this vacation superseded out expectations. Jennifer's place has everything you need. Would recommend and hope to stay here again one day.

  • Great place, amazing views!

    Deepikaa2020-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • I really loved this place and the town Highly recommend as a place to stay if traveling to death valley.. It is just on the other side of death valley. I saw some AMAZING views on that drive that I wouldn't have if I wasn't heading to Lone Pine. I also stopped to get dinner at their cute downtown strip at seasons which was in the hosts guidebook. Really cute comfortable place and I would go again!

    Michelle2020-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect location for Death Valley and Mt. Whitney excursions if you’re trying to go for both. The cabin is in a quiet and secluded area and perfect for 2 people. The couch will fold out to accommodate 1-2 more if needed. Kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom is also good. The only downside was the hot water situation - it seems to be just enough for a real quick shower for two people. It’s workable if you shower very fast. Overall, a great place to stay!

    Mardan2020-03-09T00:00:00Z

To the West the is shopping including a grocery store (about 10 minutes). To the East just 5 minutes is the entrance to Sequoia National Park (but it is still another 40 minutes or so up a windy road inside the park to Giant Forest and other attractions).
  • This cabin will be more than what you expect. Take what you’re expecting and double it.

  • Our stay here was amazing! Our first time here and loved every part of it. We explored the ranch with map provided and were surprised how big it is! We saw the beautiful horses on the property and lots of frogs. We got a good hike in the morning and then used the guide provided to explore parts of the national park. The loft was clean and so cute! The outdoor was awesome. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be coming back.

  • If you come across this review just know you've already found an amazing place. This place checks off all the boxes of what you would want in a vacation, it's super close to the park, secluded, beautiful and clean. Even in winter an outside shower was absolutely enjoyable. Come here to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings whether it is through sitting on the porch and taking in the beauty of the wildflowers and pond or wandering the ranch. And don't forget to star gaze at night! I highly recommend this place! Can't wait to return!

Offered here is a gorgeous modern retreat situated amidst three acres of rock spires, huge boulders and stunning views. Across the street is open space and hiking trails where you can wander and explore for hours. It's a magical place with artistic flare and utter serenity, close to Mt. Whitney. The house offers sprawling decks, Wi-Fi, Wolf range, gas BBQ and gas fire pit.
The house is a pristine prefab modern home on three secluded acres set amidst rock spires and huge boulders from the Jurassic, between 140-200 million years ago. It's located at 4,600' elevation where spectacular desert meets the eastern escarpment of the Sierra Nevada. The elegance and comfort you'll find inside make for a welcome contrast to the rugged surroundings. Creature comforts include a new heating and A/C system and electric fireplace. All glass is double-pane. The home is wrapped by a sprawling deck - every room has a sliding door leading outside, so indoor and outdoor living flow together. The flooring is hardwood floors except in the bedrooms, and the deck is made of a soft synthetic material that you can walk on in bare feet. The bedrooms and living areas are well-appointed with stylish furniture. The kitchen has a Wolf range, dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker and French press. There's a separate laundry room with washer and dryer. Outside features a gas fire pit and built-in gas BBQ. The home has free WI-FI and a large-screen TV with a Roku device for Netflix or Amazon streaming, and a collection of DVD's (cable TV isn't available in Lone Pine). As you look out from any room your gaze will be captivated by magnificent rocks and towering mountains - the Inyos to the east and Sierra to the west. Across the street is parkland. There's fishing withing a 5 minute drive. Whitney Portal is only 20 minutes away. Some of the most beautiful rock formations are those on and around the property. From the front deck you see Whale Rock, a spire that looks like a breaching whale. At the edge of the rear deck you’re standing beneath Massive Rock, an 80-foot monolith. Stroll up the hill and you can sit on a boulder and look at Mt. Whitney, highest point in the 48 states.
Amazing location in the Alabama Hills above Lone Pine. Across the street from parkland. Great trout fishing within five minutes. Only 15 minutes from Whitney Portal - perfect base camp for a mountain trip. Close to Movie Flat, where hundreds of films were made.
  • Dougs place was not only beautiful, but it’s location in the rock formations was a beautiful back drop for the perfect place for our family of 5. It was very clean, open, bright, and comfortable. It was also nicely decorated with views from every room. The wrap around deck was perfect to enjoy the views of both the Inyo and Sierra Nevada Mtns., along with the amazing rock formations. The deck was safe enough to let our 2 yr old twins to run around and we could step off the deck and let the kids climb the boulders. We felt it was less like an Airbnb and more like a friends home. Everything was well stocked from kitchen essentials to extra towels. The communication with Doug was prompt and he had great recommendations. We feel lucky to have found this place!

    Krista2020-03-15T00:00:00Z

    Deanna2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great house...very clean, very comfortable and in a spectacular setting. The house is across the road from a really gorgeous hike, and very close to town. The location is very private and very beautiful. And Doug was very responsive and helpful. We loved it!

    Mark2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Exactly as described. We expect to return here - though it tends to be booked much of the time.

    Brian2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Dougs place will knock your socks off. Views of the Eastern Sierras from the property make this a brilliant stay. House is spotless and we used the well-equipped kitchen to make every meal during our time here. Late afternoon snacks by the fire pit watching the sunset were followed by dinner in the dining space with stunning boulder views. The bathtub in the master suite with skylight & views a must-do. We went to the local visitors center and were helped by a very knowledgeable guide-hiker—there is a great walk in the Alabama Hills a short drive from the house. Amazing country. We hope to come back to Doug’s place!

    Sandra2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for Alabama Hills and easy access to Lone Pine. Everything you could possibly want (although having the hot tub functioning would have made it even better). Great space, we never did figure out if there was any kind of TV, but not really our thing anyway. Great having a kitchen and not having to worry about the restaurant scene in Lone Pine. Difficult to image a more beautiful spot. will be our first choice when returning to the area.

Charming and unique river retreat! Wonderful views with river access, bbq, outdoor bathtub and a ping pong table. Awake to the sound of singing birds and drink your coffee watching the sunrise over the Sierra.
Families, Adventurers, Couples, Bird lovers and anyone who wants to sit by a river and read a book.
The house is 15 minutes from the entrance to Sequoia National Park and 20 minutes from the town of Three Rivers. There is a grocery store, several restaurants and a gas station. Three Rivers is a small town that is the gateway to Sequoia National Park. All basic services are found there. The Kaweah river runs through the town, which is built along its three branches. My place is located on the main fork of the river, close to the Park's boundary. There is hiking, river rafting and mountain biking in town. This spot is special because of the big views, peaceful setting and access to a lovely spot along the river, which is priceless when its really hot out!
  • Our young family loved being outside with the swing fire pit and of course the river. Awesome location right outside the park.

    Nate2020-03-15T00:00:00Z

  • It is truly beautiful place and great location for visiting Sequoia National Park. The house is huge and neatly decorated. The bedroom with big windows looks over to the Snow-clad mountains. We enjoyed the campfire on wood burning stove outside and the tree swing. You can walk over to the riverbed. The house is beautiful than the pictures here.

    Radhika2019-12-23T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful cabin with even better views. We were lucky enough to wake up to views of snow capped mountains from bed every morning and it couldn't have been better. Two wood stoves kept the place plenty warm, almost too warm, even when in the low 30's outside. Well stocked kitchen with everything you need, including basics like oil and salt, to cook full meals. Great location near town, but just far away enough so that you felt like you were out in nature. You could even hear the river from bed. Great path to the river that someone has clearly put a lot of effort into. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

    Chrysti2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed our stay at Suzanne's place. River access was great, as well as easy access to the park. The cabin has a funky feel to it and is very cozy, with everything one might need. Note that the property it's on is shared with other rentals. You can also see Highway 198 from the house. If you're looking to be entirely secluded in nature this might not be the right place for you, otherwise it's great!

    Benjamin2019-11-26T00:00:00Z

Spring time in Three Rivers is gorgeous - at the entrance to Sequoia National Park, this is a large and beautiful artist’s studio on several acres comprising 600 square feet with its own entrance and terraces. Extraordinary care is being taken to assure as safe an environment as possible for our guests.
Rest assured we are on a hyper-vigilante quest to keep our guests and ourselves safe during these extraordinary times. Expect a beautiful and solitary time, it’s stunning and quiet; and kindly expect to bring supplies as our village is tiny and quiet and stretching to take care of its own. Already stringent cleaning standards are heightened and we feel there is no safer place to be than in nature and among the majestic trees and unparalleled beauty of Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Thank you so much for your interest and know that we would love to have you and look forward to sharing the Sequoia National Park and our new home with you! It's a lovely space and we've never seen anyone who wasn't thoroughly delighted. The studio comprises the entire bottom floor of our property with its own entrance off the terraces facing the grounds and the river. It's beautifully situated in an open and stylish space that feels expansive and interesting. With beautiful light and everything you need this studio with gorgeous walkways and private entrance will provide a haven for your stay. Walk over to the river and use this home as a sanctuary to the Sequoia National Park and the delightful town of Three Rivers, California. The summer sleeping deck is optional and would be an additional price per night of your stay and depends on weather restrictions. The studio is an amazing combination of both rustic and plush...all wrapped up in one.
RESTAURANTS, ETC Three Rivers is a charming village of 2600 people with an artsy vibe, (check out Cort Gallery, and their Sunday night drum circle), although the National Park is the biggest draw and offers days of exploration. Coming to Sequoia National Park you will not help but become acquainted with its charm. Our property is perfectly situated, about ten - fifteen minutes from the Park entrance and its best late summer only swimming holes, and even closer (2 miles) to the only full service market (The Village Market and their weekend barbecues; perfect to take home or into the park; they close at 7 PM & 8 PM on the weekends) and two miles to the best part of the village on the river, the restaurant "Ol' Buckaroo", (Closed Tuesday and Wednesday - Open for brunch only on the weekends - and Mondays sometimes-otherwise good for dinner every other night at least when I wrote this) and coffee shop "Sequoia Coffee", also a great little antique store, the new Brewery, and the heart of Three Rivers. Right here you will also find a great sub and salad place with a 93 rating on yelp, Sierra Sub and Salad (closed 6pm and on Monday’s). For organic items there's a small store called "The Barn" with great gift items, and yoga and cycling in the same structure too, super close to us, that is wonderful. There’s also Bella Farms for self-service organics super close to us on North Fork. There is the "Gateway" for amazing wine, stunning river views, live music (sometimes, call ahead) on some weekends and aiming at rather elegant food and full bar including premium tequila. (There is a drugstore, a pizza place, and a Mexican place called Mendosa’s as well within 2 minutes of our place, and Reimers, the best ice cream on the planet a bit closer to the park, in season fresh Three Rivers blackberry! And peach!) Super casual and also on the river there is the River View, for a game of pool, a drink, friendly patrons, and sometimes the best live music for hundreds of miles, (call ahead). For longer stays consider a jaunt into Exeter for dinner at the French Wine Bistro called "Monet". Worth the drive for Jennifer’s food and hospitality (and or stop on your way into Three Rivers if the timing is right- 5pm opening ) and also visit the fabulous antique shops there as well. (about 25 minutes from 3R on your way into Three Rivers). Check Yelp for great places too in Visalia if you’re Jonesing for really yummy food - Jack and Charlie’s - the Vintage Press - two of my faves.
  • Beautiful place beside a singing river, with many artistic touches. Fully recommended!

  • The place is beautiful, romantic and with delightful decoration. Just steps away from the river and proceeded by a gorgeous and curated garden with pergolas and resting areas. Location is super, just 20’ to the national park. Great place for summer or winter escapades. The hosts are amazing. Strongly recommend it.

  • Da Vigil house was exactly what we needed! Something called the 3 day affect...getting away from all the hustle & bustle of everyday life...& immersing oneself in nature...In order to destress & reset! The house was a beautifully romantic & unique space! With artful & antique touches...from the interior to the exterior! The property was nestled back amongst the trees...right next to a river....paradise! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Our neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We are on a dead end street and not a lot of traffic on our road. Neighbors are pretty much Senior Citizens and not too many homes in this rural neighborhood. The views are very nice of the hills and the trees are beautiful. We have a bike trail not too far in our area on BLM land. Bring your bikes and enjoy nice trails to ride and beautiful creeks and views.
  • This is a great easy location in Three Rivers convenient to the park, a nice place to relax in the evening after a hike and close to the restaurants in town. It’s spacious and comfortable and was a great spot to land for a winter weekend exploring Sequoia park. Check in and out was very easy.

  • Thank you Martha! Your place was great!

    Michelle2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures don’t do the studio justice. It is very spacious with thoughtful touches. We enjoyed relaxing in the bath and watching TV after hiking during the day. Great location near Sequoia.

    Sarah2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, quiet, amenities like DirecTV, cookware to make a meal, and a heater to keep warm in the winter, and about 3 miles from the Sequoia National Park entrance. Would stay again! Thanks, Martha!

    Julie2019-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Martha’s place was beautiful. It was way bigger then expected and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and there was a coffee maker which was great. We arrived a little early and Martha let us check in early which was amazing since we were tired after a long drive. The studio was really private and the area super quiet and peaceful. Definirely would recommend her place.

    Erika2019-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay for Sequoia NP! 5 minutes from the park entrance. Make sure to check the weather and road condition in the park before your visit!

    Michael2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • Martha's place was very clean, and I liked that we were able to do self check in. There was all the basic cooking necessities, and the studio apartment was temperature controlled for the chilly nights. The bed was comfortable, and for being a studio, it was spacious. I will say, if you are someone who likes to sleep in, this may not be the place for you. There were chickens and a dog right outside the window, so you will likely be woken up pretty early by animal noises. If you're planning on getting up early anyway, or like the feeling of being out in the country, then it won't be a problem :). It didn't bother us too much because the chickens generally stop making noise after about 5 minutes.

    Katherine2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Martha is a very responsive host when issues arise. If you do not need her help for anything you will enjoy a very private stay. The property is situated on a hillside, and outside your window are chickens and a cute little Corgi who barks occasionally. The water is from a well, so if that’s not your thing then you should plan to bring your water (I did) or get bottled. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare all my meals. The bed is super comfortable. It is a short drive to Sequoia National Park entrance. If you are interested in a great local hike there is Salt Creek trail just above Martha’s house. Highly recommend!!

Plenty of wood for the fire pit, even special s’more roasting sticks! The bungalow felt very private. Vonnie is an incredible host and very quick to respond.

  • The place is amazing, very cozy and clean. Very close to the entrance to sequoia, the marbel falls hike for example is only 16 min. Away. There is fire pit and BBQ provided. The kitchen had absolutely everything (even spices, small bags for sandwiches and olive oil.) It was fun for all the family to sit by the fire all and then watch with the kids dvds that the owner provided.

    Karina2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We wanted a quick getaway and visit Sequoia right before NYE and this cozy cabin was perfect. It's almost as close to Sequoia Park as you can get. We were able to wake up and enjoy the nice view out back while drinking tea and then head up to the park. The drive was only about 45 minutes (mostly going up in elevation in a gorgeous cliffside drive) and we ended up hiking Moro Rock in the snow while enjoy the breathtaking trees and views. The perfect quick getaway for us!

  • My family of five and extended family gathered here for a mini-reunion. Everyone was so impressed with the space, the location and the overall home. I got a ton of praise for finding it, so I can only reciprocate! Adam was super thoughtful and the communication was easy-breezy. Great stay for large or small groups!

    Joel And Joanna2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Adam place. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located and although it’s a lively neighborhood the house is very quiet! And full with a lot of activity Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

    Satjatorn2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Adam's cabin is by far THE BEST place to stay if you're wanting a "Home Away from Home" vibe while also being close to one of the most gorgeous national parks. The location couldn't be more perfect - far enough away from Three Rivers that you feel secluded but close enough that you can drive in for a quick bite to eat or to swing by the local market for groceries. The cabin is perfectly situated in front of a beautiful creek, perfect if you want to relax near by and take in the beautiful scenery. Inside, the cabin is perfectly stocked to host for a large family or group of friends. Also, take advantage of all of the amazing board games they have in supply, I know we did! I can't wait to book this house again for my next Sequoia trip!

If you want a quiet, relaxing experience this is the place to go. My mother was impressed with all of the amenities, she put the kitchen to good use! Hope to book in the future! Wish I had booked an extra day!

  • The location near the river was perfect! Plenty of space inside and out to explore and the proximity to the national park entrance was super convenient. My family of 4 stayed here with my brother and we had more than enough space. We made use of the kitchen and the dryer (the washer was being wonky). We will definitely be back!

You’ll love our ranch for the spectacular views, the outdoors space, and the river! This new modern cabin is good for one or two couples and families. Enjoy hiking, swimming, and boating on a 380 acre ranch and along more than a mile of river or in several ponds (the largest covering 1.5 acres!). You can hike to a 60 foot high waterfall!! This cabin is only 15 minutes from the entrance to world famous Sequoia National Park!!
Clean, interior wood floors throughout the cabin. Cozy for you to relax after a long day hiking, fishing, sightseeing. Or, if you prefer, you can just stay at the cabin in secluded quite and take in the magnificent view all around you!! The cabin is a fully outfitted home where you could live for months. A King-size bed in the bedroom, couch (queen sleeper) in the living room, dinning table seats four, full modern kitchen (refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker) and a full bath. Even a washer and dryer! Fresh towels are provided in the bath, as well as plates, bowls, cutlery and utensils in the kitchen. We have a few books for your enjoyment too! Come on in and relax! There is no phone, no wifi, no TV, almost no people, just quiet, nature and the view of high mountain peaks! If you have an AT&T cell phone that works but other cell companies have no coverage here. If you want to get away and disconnect – this is the place!!
The Neighborhood Charming neighborhood and nice neighbors. A 15 minute drive will get you to HWY 198 where there are restaurants in both directions. To the West the is shopping including a grocery store (about 10 minutes). To the East just 5 minutes is the entrance to Sequoia National Park (but it is still another 40 minutes or so up a windy road inside the park to Giant Forest and other attractions).
  • This cabin was better than what we had imagined! It was so secluded and quiet, but also had some great attractions on premises. There was no pond too small for our little two-year-old to throw his rocks into. We saw deer, wild turkey and a bobcat. I highly recommend and have already referred family and friends.

    Amy2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Expect to hate to go home. It was a truly wonderful humbling experience. The location of the cabin provides seclusion and privacy. Our host was wonderful. She made us feel comfortable and safe. The cabin is clean, cozy and perfect for a couple. It is pretty close to the National Park entrance. I would say to definitely stay here.

  • Fantastic place to stay if you're visiting Sequoia National Park. You can't beat the location just a few miles from the park entrance. The cabin is lovely, sparkling clean, and well insulated (it was chilly outside during our early March visit, but the cabin is well heated and you can't feel the chill from inside). Erin and Anthony were very friendly and incredibly responsive to messages. Our stay was wonderful.

Your private bathroom with and laundry room are in a separate wing of the house and are for your use only during your stay. Covered parking right outside your room. The host is a fitness/dance professional and a champion equestrian, who will be happy to lead you in a dawn yoga class or evening pilates session, ( special guest pricing for personal training). The studio/gym is equipped with weight, mirrors, yoga mats, big balls, kettlebells, punching bags, most everything you need to get a good workout. The swimming pond is maintained without the use of harsh chemicals and has fresh water flowing through it every day. . Everyone loves to feel like a kid by jumping on the oversized trampoline or laying on it at night to stargaze. Take a bike ride or a stroll on our private country lanes. The surrounding rolling hills offer endless hiking opportunities. After a day touring the Park, come home to a campfire. All activities mentioned above are "on site" for the ultimate in convenience! We are completely organic and grow our own fruits and vegetables. We use solar to help power the ranch. We also raise our own chickens, as well as grass-fed beef. You can dine at one of the nearby gourmet, or casual, restaurants in either Exeter or Visalia, about 10-15 minutes away from the ranch! Visalia has the most gourmet restaurants of any city its size in the U.S. Monets and Cafe Lafayettes in Exeter are a bit of Paris right in the middle of rural California farm country. Tour around Exeter and see the renowned murals on the sides of the buildings, depicting past life in the small farm town. Eclectic shops and artist galleries are on the way to the Park in Three Rivers. For dining upscale or casual, including an extensive wine list and creative cocktails and a champagne Sunday brunch The Gateway is the place. It is a few yards from the entrance to Sequoia, with a great view of the river. Just 6 miles from the ranch, you can visit Lake Kaweah, where you can rent a house boat for the day. and swim or fish. What time of year should you experience Spring Hill Ranch. The Summer is the best for swimming and spending time in the Sequoias.,Fall is my favorite, the trees are beautiful and the heat is not so intense. The Park, in what we call Indian summer, or Autumn has a hint of crispness in the air, I find it very peaceful. Also it is not so crowded . Winter, in the Park is a winter wonderland, and in the valley it is cool and green. Perfect campfire weather. Spring time, the hills are green and full of flowers and you only need a light sweater, sometimes just a T shirt. . Spring Hill Ranch is unique in any season and our genuine hospitality is year round.
  • Lily's place was idyllic. We were welcomed by her precious pup, Lucky. The room was clean and spacious and we were lucky enough to have our own bathroom. Lily and Bob were kind enough to supply ingredients for breakfast which we took advantage of and throughly enjoyed. Walking around the quiet ranch was peaceful and a great way to start our morning before heading back home. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

    Alejandra2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • Luckily I was able to book Lilly’s place and it was worth it. Had to stay in town for business and Lilly was very respectful. Checked in without a hassle and loved the messages she sent with greetings and suggesting I see the horses on the premises. It was worth it because working non-stop, I needed that time with nature to ground me. Thank you Lilly and will definitely book again when I’m in the area.

    Marco2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • A lovely spot!! Particularly loved the horses 😁

    Nicola2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place is well described in the app and is even better in person. They offer small amenities such as shampoo and eggs for breakfast. We only stayed one night so we could explore sequoia national park the next day but after watching the sunrise off Lilly’s dance studio porch and making breakfast, we did not want to leave! Consider staying an extra day just for a staycation, especially if you visit in the summer.

    Bryson2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • So many former guests of Lilly’s have done a great job of describing the property and spending time interacting with the animals. It’s all true. It’s truly an amazing place. Lilly and Bob are kind, decent, and entertaining people. I don’t think I’m the first guest to leave their place, feeling like I spent time with lifelong friends. I know I’ll be back to visit them soon.

Cleaning protocol at the house includes: After cleaning all surfaces, my caretaker Kori wipes down all surfaces, including door knobs, TV remotes, light switches, handrails with Lysol disinfectant. Hand sanitizer will be available at the house for the foreseeable future. This spacious, rustic cabin on river frontage property has an established trail on property that leads to the Kaweah River. Experience glorious views of Morro Rock and Alta Peak from your kitchen. A 10 min. drive to Sequoia.
The cabin sits on an acre of property leading into the the main fork of the Kaweah River. Parking is allowed in the driveway only, not on the street. The driveway accommodates two vehicles. No more than five guests are permitted to stay at this house. As an older cabin, for a number of reasons, it cannot support more guests. If it is found that more guests than originally reported to the host would be staying at the house, the stay will be forfeited. If it is found after the fact, a $50 per day, per person, will be charged to the guest through Airbnb. The only reliable cell service in 3Rivers is A.T.andT. It works at the house and in most of Three Rivers. A required Tulare County 10% Occupancy Tax has already been factored into the reservation cost.
Most of the homes on Dinely Drive are older, built as honeymoon homes/cabins in the the 1940s for returning veterans. On Dinely, you are within 5 miles of the entrance to Sequoia National Park. Mineral King Road is even closer and leads to endless hiking and numerous camping spots. There is a great mountain biking area with miles of trails off Skyline Drive, just 10 minutes from the house. I provide guide books and maps at the house.
  • Thank you Sue! Great place and amazing scenery. Cool River right across the street and close to the national Park. Three Rivers is a charming little town. We had a great time and would go again!!

    Matthew2020-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s place is beautiful! There’s a short trail that leads to a river where the scenery is absolutely beautiful and that’s where my husband and baby and I hung out when not exploring Sequoia. Behind the house is a hill that was blooming with wildflowers. The house is very cute and comfortable and has a great porch with mountain views. It’s also a short drive to get into the park. We hope to come back here again!

    Aleksandra2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful location and beautiful rustic cabin! The host gives great tips and is quick to respond if you have any questions.

    Gabrielle2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sue’s home is the perfect getaway for those looking to relax and explore the beautiful surrounding nature and sequoias. Finding the house and checking in was so easy. Sue also responded promptly when we’d reach out for recommendations or requests. The house is large, clean and quiet (with the exceptional creaking of the hard wood floors, which adds charm!) My favorite part about the home was the doggy fence setup on the porch. We were able to enjoy freshly brewed coffee on the porch every morning with our dog. I miss it already!

  • Great cabin close to Sequoia and Three Rivers! Sue was super quick to respond to us (had someone refill the grill propane within 30 minutes of messaging her) and gave a great hike suggestion for the park. Loved the deck and how spacious the house was.

  • Fantastic cabin very close to Sequoia National Park (15 minutes) and close to amenities in Three Rivers (10 minutes) but felt sufficiently secluded. The cabin had great views of the mountains and river as well. Sue was extremely helpful in checking in as well as suggestions for trails and local hot spots! Definitely an amazing find.

  • Huge place with 3 comfortable double rooms! The master bed room is something out of a dream!

  • I have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs around the world and this is one of the best... The value, communication, location, thoughtful touches and absolutely great home really exceeded our groups expectations. We cooked a beautiful salmon dinner on the grill (kitchen had everything we needed) and watched a gorgeous sunset. We looked at the moon through the telescope and had wine on a beautiful balcony. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the host was amazing at communicating. Could not ask for a better Sequoia home, especially for the price!

  • location, location, location! This cabin is in the park so there is NO traffic to get there. The views are amazing and the touch of the fire place and hot tub made it feel like a relaxing vacation. House offers full kitchen which was a great time and money saver. The driveway is steep, if you are traveling in the winter, be wary of snow.

  • Had a great time at this place, house was very clean, well decorated and felt very comfortable. Location is literally as good as it gets, you’re in the park and the views are amazing. Hot tub, fire pit, bbq, I mean it’s got it all. My only thing about the house is there’s a downstairs balcony that seems to only be accessible for someone renting another property elsewhere. I think it’s just good to know of that before you’re sitting out on the balcony in the middle of the night, hear some footsteps below ya and freak out haha (Didn’t happen to me) but otherwise if you’re going to Sequoia, this is for sure the place to stay. My girlfriend and I had a hard time leaving to explore cause we just wanted to hang there!

  • A beautiful home, in a beautiful location. A great place to stay! Bring books, puzzles, and pre-downloaded things to watch if you need entertainment in the home itself!

    Diana2019-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful location. Hot tub and fireplace were great. Having a full kitchen was convenient. Beth was a responsive and helpful host.

    Greg2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! Great location that was close to town if you needed anything but far enough away that you felt secluded in the park. The views from the back deck and hot tub made the place—perfect for unwinding after a day of hiking in the park.

    Dani2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at this home was wonderful for us and our 3 pups! Check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow. The home was cozy and comfortable and having coffee available was great! I LOVED the heated toilet seat. It was a great location for access to prime trails and points of interest within Sequoia and Three Rivers town was quaint and sweet. The view was beautiful and we had perfect weather mid-October!

    Meghan2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • If you want to be close to Sequoia National Park, it doesn't get closer than this! This is the second time we have stayed with Beth but the first time in the larger portion of the house. It was exactly what we needed for our little family. The kitchen was well-stocked with the necessities and even provided k-cups for coffee in the morning. The house is within the park which makes for a great head-start to get on the trails. The hot tub was perfect after the kids were asleep so that we could ease our muscles after hiking all day. Would definitely return to Beth's place when visiting Sequoia again. Highly recommend!

It is the only yurt/roundhouse in Three Rivers and Sequoia. The bedroom and bath are on the same level as the great room and kitchen. The yurt does have cell phone reception, although the only cell service that works in Three Rivers is AT&T at this time and sometimes Verizon. Three Rivers was nominated as one of the coolest small towns in 2010. The charming small town of Three Rivers has a wonderful sense of community and hosts an amazing array of art, music and Western-themed events.
  • Awesome place, will definitely try and come back one day!

    Madison2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • What can you say about perfection? We arrived feeling stressed and burned out and left rejuvenated. The location is just 2 miles from the park entrance and perfect for visiting every day. Richard and Jeanie were fantastic hosts - every detail you could think of was taken care of. The kitchen and bathroom were fully stocked, everything was spotlessly clean and it was a great place to come home to after a long day hiking. We loved the sit out area in the back - it was a great place to enjoy morning coffee and listen to the birds. There was a binder with detailed instructions and local tips which was super helpful. It was a fabulous stay and we’re already planning to return.

  • Beautiful cozy and unique!

    Nicole2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful place to stay that is both close to Sequoia National Park and the perfect location for a nice getaway. Jeanie and Richard are such great hosts and communicators and made every effort to make our stay amazing. There were thoughtful touches and amenities all throughout the yurt and we got to enjoy wine with a view one night as well. We hope to stay here again when we visit Sequoia. Such a beautiful, unique, clean and wonderful space for a nature getaway.

    Liana2020-02-17T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures can never compare to how stunning the views are this place overlooks, we loved every minute there and wish we stayed longer. The yurt itself is very interesting in its design and very unique to anything we have ever stayed in. We stayed here at the start of February and it hand no trouble staying warm and cozy. If you are planning to visit sequoia national park like we did then this is prime location and better then anything we saw on the way up.

    Emma2020-02-04T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most comfortable stay we could have asked for. Richard and Jeanie thought of EVERYTHING we could need (and some things we didn’t know we needed) The yurt was very, very private and located in a nice, friendly area of Three Rivers. The proximity to the park entrance was unbeatable, and their rules were simple and easy to follow. This felt like home, and our time there was unforgettable. Worth every penny. Xx
