“The Museum of Science is one of the best tours in the city, showing science not as boring or hard to understand, but fun and interesting by revealing concepts in an interactive way and with practical examples in smart and thoughtful attractions for adults and children.”

“Massachussets is one of the most famous, ancient and recognized educational institutions in the world, Harvard University. The University is located in Cambridge, a city that is glued to Boston, almost like another neighborhood in the state capital. The Harvard University tour is very tasty and enjoyable, and worth doing in my opinion.”

“Oldest public garden in America. I love this park specially during the spring season because of it’s very colorful, vibrant and beautiful tulips and flowering trees. Park is well maintained. Friendly squirrels that will follow you for some food , ducks swimming lazyly in the pond and dont forget to ride the swan boats! ”

Art Museum
“The Harvard Art Museum is not the size of the Museum of Fine Arts or Gardner Museum in Boston (both of which are amazing), but has a very impressive collection, is housed in a gorgeous, recently gut-renovated building, and is large enough that you undoubtedly will be unable to see the whole thing in one visit. There is also currently (through July 28) a special exhibit called The Bauhaus and Harvard that is quite good and showcases the University’s Bauhaus collection, which is the largest in the world outside of Germany.”

“The Middle East has been an anchor of Central Square for decades. While it sounds like a single venue - it is actually 3 distinct music venues: Middle East Corner (free live music), Middle East Downstairs (larger music venue with covers between $10-20), Middle East Upstairs (more acoustic type acts with small cover).”

Ice Cream Shop

“This is the best ice cream in town, if you ask me. It's not easy to get to on public transportation. If you are visiting the Museum of Science or the Cambridgeside Galleria (a mall) stop by Toscanini's for their burnt caramel ice cream or early grey flavor or green tea or fresh peach or....”

New American Restaurant
“They've got an excellent bar and food menu. Not a huge dinner menu but we've enjoyed everything we've ever had. Offerings tend more toward the decadent side than light/healthy fare. If buffalo style brussel sprouts (one of our favorite items) sounds like something you'd like, take a look at their menu. The space gets crowded, so if you want to sit quickly go early. It also can get pretty loud, so if you're looking for a quiet dining experience, you might want to look elsewhere. ”

“My favorite restaurant in Harvard Square. Great seasonal ingredients and amazing cocktails. Ask for the "Secret Burger" or even the "Super Secret Burger". They only make 30 or so a night though - so go early if you want to catch one.”
